Speaker 1 (00:00):
Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley has just released a new tranch
of documents time Hillary Clinton directly to the government's approval
chain on the Russia hoax. I'll do a deep dive
into those findings and documents, and we'll get to the
truth one way or the other. The Senators also advanced
key legislation to ban congressional stock trading. I'll discuss the
legislation's chances with one of its key backers in the House,
(00:22):
Congressman Andy Ogles. Senator Lindsay Graham has Trump's endorsement, but
also a new Republican challenger who is with us this hour.
They're lighting government officials on fire in Virginia and we're
burning it down tonight. All next on the Matt Gates Show,
let's do this shaking up Washington, d C. We're breaking
the fever.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
If you haven't watch this guy in television, it's like
a machine.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
He's great.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Matt Gates, we have breaking news. Tonight's Senate Judiciary Chairman
Chuck Grassley has released something called the Durham Annex, which
was previously classified following the report of Special Counsel John
Durham to Congress two years ago. Durham was tasked with
investigating the origins of the Russia hoax, and frankly, I
(01:09):
always thought he was part of the cover up. The
fact that you didn't charge Andrew McCabe, you didn't convict
the Lion Democrats with the Lion Russians, you didn't investigate
mifsud or the Maler probe.
Speaker 4 (01:20):
Do you see how silly this looks?
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Like?
Speaker 1 (01:21):
You found the lawyer, you found the phones, but the
actual dude who got ordered by Western intelligence to go
start this thing you couldn't find. But when you are
part of the cover up, mister Durham, then it makes
our job harder. That was June twenty first, twenty twenty three,
more than two years ago. I was on the committee
he reported to, and even I had no idea there
(01:42):
was some classified annex that contained such damning evidence. Here's
the most searing of that evidence. First, Obama sanctioned the
use of all administrative levers to remove possible negative effects
from the FBI investigation into you guessed it, the Clint
the Clinton Foundation, Hillary Clinton's email correspondence in the State Department.
(02:04):
So while Obama was using every means at his disposal
to protect Hillary. The appendix also reveals that there was
a quote two prong Democrat Party opposition focused on discrediting
Trump through debates and propaganda activities. It goes on to
say that the Clinton staff, with support from Special Services,
was preparing scandalous revelations of business relations between Trump and
(02:28):
the Russian mafia end quote.
Speaker 5 (02:31):
This is wild.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Obama was using his authority to stonewall any investigation into
Clinton's real crimes. Clinton and her team were imagineering fake
crimes for Trump. Again, this comes as no surprise to many. Still, though,
this was our government doing everything they could to subvert
the will of the.
Speaker 5 (02:49):
People by way dish blaw.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
So much more. In an email, Leonard Bernardo, the Russia
guy for George Soros's Open Societ Foundation, says, quote, our
HRC approved Hillary Rodham, Clinton approved. That's about the idea
of quote Trump and Russian hackers hampering US elections. They're
literally pointing out that they're doing this to distract people
(03:17):
from her own mishandling of her own emails. This is
quite something. They admit it was a distraction. They had
to accuse Trump because Hillary had done so many misdeeds.
The message goes on to lament that the Russian threat
isn't actually credible or real. It also confirms that the
FBI and CIA had forewarning that this was a political
(03:38):
operation intended to help the Clinton campaign. This email puts
political candidate Hillary Clinton and the George Soros Foundation in
the direct approval chain for the Russia hoax. They knew
it was a hoax, the DNC funded it. Clapper and
Brennan and other deep state actors weaseled it into the media,
and it didn't work. People voted for Trump anyway. Hillary
(04:02):
Clinton's campaign chair John Podesta and policy advisor Jake Sullivan
classified the intel as ridiculous and claimed they had no
strategy or plan to distract negative attention from Clinton by
lying about Trump and Russia. But they in fact did lie,
and after all, when it didn't work, Obama still assembled
the December nine to twenty sixteen meeting in the Oval
(04:24):
Office to make sure, even though Hillary lost the election,
that the coup operation was still on. All of this
proves criminal intent. The most common question we get is
whether this will result in criminal charges. Dn I Tulca
Gabbard told us it was a criminal conspiracy.
Speaker 6 (04:42):
So Obama led intelligence community assessment was a contrived document
that was knowingly made using fake intelligence or substandard intelligence.
They would use this foundational document for everything that came
after for the following four years Muller Investigation, what was
essentially a year's long coup against President Trump, with the
(05:04):
smears and the attacks, the FBI raids, the two congressional impeachments,
the list goes on and on, and so this action
needs to be seen within the context of what happened
before and what came after to recognize the conspiracy that
exists just there.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Tulsi said what I was saying back in twenty eighteen
when the media was calling me crazy. Here Chris Pomo
accused me of using dirty words to fight back against
the Obama ordered Hillary approved coup attempt.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
You use the word spine.
Speaker 7 (05:36):
Now, you know that's a dirty word in the intelligence community.
It suggests something nefarious, something wrong. And you know that
Trey Goudi and Speaker Ryan looked into what was offered
up by the community by the DOJ about what was done,
and they said there was no spine.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
And how is Chris Cuomo taking today's news that everything
he espoused on television merely showed him to be a
useful idiot for the deep sis.
Speaker 5 (06:00):
Wow, I'm wrong a lot.
Speaker 8 (06:03):
I've been wrong about political issues. I've been wrong about people.
I've been wrong about myself. I've been wrong about my responsibilities.
I've been wrong about my opinions, my tastes, my choices.
I've been wrong.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
The top question we've received from viewers is this, will
anyone actually go to jail? We got a clue on
this program from former House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunez. Listen
to him tell us what to pay attention to.
Speaker 9 (06:29):
Of this giant hoax was the rate at mar A Lago.
And I think that could hold some keys whatever evidence
can be found there, and how it relates to all
of this, which was essentially just get Trump hookes all
in one.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
I didn't know it at the time, but he gave
us a key hint. We know that some of the
documents Trump had at mar A Lago pertained to the
origins of the Russia hoax. What if the reason the
FBI rated mar was to facilitate a cover up. What
if the FBI knew that their officials or former officials
(07:07):
broke the law and they needed to get the evidence
out of Trump's possession. If that were true, and Devin
Nunez's response is illuminating, then the raid of mar A
Lago would be a predicate criminal act in furtherance of
the broader seditious conspiracy, a serious federal crime. In this scenario,
it would be right, just and proper to convene a
(07:28):
criminal grand jury in the Southern District of Florida to
investigate the seditious conspiracy of President Obama. John Brennan, James Clapper,
James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Hillary Clinton, and the Open Society
Soros Foundation. There are other former DOJ officials who belong
on this list too. They include Bruce and Nelly or
(07:49):
Peter Struck, Lisa Page, and of course Jack Smith. And
while I'm glad we get to call for these actions
based on the evidence released today, why in the world
did we have to wait until July of twenty twenty
five to find out what John Durham partially published in
twenty twenty three regarding a coup attempt that happened nine
years ago in twenty sixteen. That is, justice delayed to
(08:12):
the point of justice denied, and we still wouldn't know
if we hadn't won the election and gotten key members
of President Trump's cabinet confirmed, like Attorney General Pambondi and
Cash Ptel and CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and of course
the Director of National Intelligence Tulsa Gabbard. We'll be back
in moments with Tennessee Congressman Andy ogeles. He's been watching
(08:32):
the day's events and will bring us up to speed
on what Congress will do in light of these incredible
revelations back in a minute.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
Viewers are always asking me how can they watch away

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Congressional Stock Trading. It's kind of like letting the referee
bet on the game. Members of Congress make one hundred
and seventy two thousand dollars a year. I always found
that to be plenty. But it's simply true that lawmakers
with a household in Washington and one of their districts
feel a financial pinch, especially when they have an expensive
wife at home and girlfriend in DC. There are limited
ways for members of Congress to enhance their income. Some
(11:19):
write a book, as I did, some teach classes, as
Speaker Mike Johnson did, some trade stocks. In the one
hundred and seventeenth Congress, about half of the members own stock,
another forty percent owned investment funds in the stock market.
Only about seven percent held neither. That included me. I've
consistently criticized congressional stock trading. Here are my remarks at
(11:39):
Seapack on the matter last year. For the same reason
you don't let the umpire bet on the game, members
of Congress should not be allowed to trade individual stocks.
The Republican Ethics Chairman Michael Guest not only voted for
the January sixth Commission, he has become a brilliant stock trader.
While office and I admire the obvious genius he knew
(12:04):
exactly the right time to buy online gambling stocks. His
purchase in Evolution Gaming Securities netted him a hefty thirty
six percent gain. Not too shabby. Now, I'm not saying
that this is insider trading, but this monetary affair is
perhaps the most suspicious I've seen since Bonnie Willis and
Nathan Wade. So fire your financial advisor. Just follow the
(12:31):
Quiver quantitative account on X. You could have been on
the ride up with Republican Michael Guest on gambling stocks.
You could have made millions like Nancy Pelosi did on Nvidia.
Or maybe you'll get a big return on a raytheon
purchase with Armed Services Member and Oklahoma Senator Mark Wayne Mullen.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
You see what I offer.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
These critiques that include the conduct of some fellow Republicans,
I catch a lot of heat. Don't get me wrong.
I'd prefer to just fight the Democrats. But if the
Republicans are going to dress up like Democrats in drag,
then I will lead the fight against them too. Annual
stock trades number in the thousands, with hundreds of lawmakers
(13:11):
making frequent trades each year. Some trades are even exceed
five hundred in number in a single term. President Trump
has shown leadership on the issue, calling for a band
to congressional stock trading.
Speaker 10 (13:23):
We want to ban on members of Congress getting rich
by trading stocks with insider information, and many.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Of our great members agree with that. Former Speaker of
the House Nancy Pelosi has been the Warren Buffett of
congressional stock trading. In twenty twenty four, Nancy Pelosi, through
her husband Paul Pelosi, delivered approximately fifty four percent investment returns,
out performing both the S and P five hundred and
almost every big hedge fund. The Pelosi's gained between seven
(13:52):
point eight million and forty two and a half million
in that year alone. That pushes their estimated net worth
as high as four hundre hundred and thirteen million dollars.
The couple's holdings have included Apple, Microsoft, and Nvidia, Visa,
Palo Alto Networks, and other major major players in the
tech and energy sectors. Yesterday, the Senate Homeland Security and
(14:14):
Government Affairs Committee advanced Senator Josh Holly's Honest Act to
ban congressional stock trading.
Speaker 11 (14:19):
Here, Senator Holly, so when you look at what members
of Congress are privy to, what they are able to
trade on, the access that they have, it's just qualitatively
different than your average Joe or Jane, which is why
we ought to put into place common sense guardrails that say,
if you want to be a member of Congress, you can.
You want to say, great, you can buy mutual funds,
(14:40):
you can buy broadly diversified investment vehicles. You should not
be able to buy and trade individual stock shares, in which, frankly,
we have an interest in the work that we do.
We have information that no other people get, know their
members of the public have. This bill would finally readdress that.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
That makes sense to us. But the bill surprisingly faced
Republican opposition. We're usually fans of Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson,
but we strongly disagree with this.
Speaker 12 (15:06):
Take here, this piece of legislation, really it's legislative demagoguey.
We do have insider trading laws, we have financial disclosure.
This is a completely unnecessary piece of legislation. It's going
to create all kinds of unintended consequences. Voted no last time.
I'm as strong no this time, even stronger this time.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Key members of the House Freedom Caucus have also been
pushing for a ban on congressional stock trading. They wrote
Speaker Mike Johnson a letter demanding it one of the
signatories to this letter is Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles, and
he's with us now. So, Congressman Ogles, you signed this
letter to Speaker Johnson back in January. Why was a
ban on congressional stock trading one of your demands?
Speaker 13 (15:46):
Well, I mean, again, you look at the optics. In
your segment you talked about Nancy Pelosi with a fifty
four percent return. I mean, she should, you know, have
some sort of subscription newsletter or something, because man, she
is nailing.
Speaker 5 (15:59):
It at hitting it out of the park. But you know, look,
the optics are what they are.
Speaker 13 (16:03):
You know, if you want to buy a mutual fund,
like the average person, we can certainly go and do that.
You know, if you want to buy real estate, you
can go and do that. But the individual stock trading
and the access or the potential access to inside information,
I mean, the American people see through that it's time
to make a change. You know, ap apl Anapaulina Luna
(16:23):
has a petition that would do just that, and she
plans on forcing a vote on the House floor on this.
So this issue, so it's going to come to a
head in September and the House of representatives. Currently the
Freewa Caucus is leading on this issue, and then apl
has a discharge petition as well.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
Do you think stock trading impacts how your colleagues vote?
Speaker 5 (16:45):
You know, I certainly hope not.
Speaker 13 (16:47):
I can't say that I've seen it, but you can
they necessarily profit off of inside for information or you know,
subsequent approvals or actions that they know that that Congress
is going to be taking or likely to be taking. Well,
clearly Pelosi's getting information that you and I are not
privy to. And by the way, I'm not sure what
committee she's on, but holy cal I f'ty four percent
(17:07):
return again she's beating in the hedge funds out there.
But yeah, I mean, I think this is a loophole
that needs to be fixed. You know, however we go
about it, it's got to be done. I think the
American people that want transparency, so whether it's the Epstein files,
when you look at the weaponization, the recent documents and
discoveries that they literally had burned bags of evidence that
they were going to try to destroy before Trump came
(17:29):
into office, indicating the Russia collusion was a hoax, etc. Like,
the American people want transparency, and this is just another
issue where the American people expect and demand that we,
the members of Congress, are transparent.
Speaker 5 (17:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
I did want to turn to your reaction to that
important news in the Durham appendix. We saw this email
showcasing an approval from Hillary Clinton to ignite this illusion
around extensive Russian medaling in the election that was somehow
dispositive on President Trump. We're on the result. The key
(18:04):
members of the Open Society Foundation who transmitted those approvals
still exist. They're presumably available for testimony. Do you think
they should be brought before Congress to answer questions? Absolutely?
Speaker 13 (18:16):
I mean this is you know I've been saying you
when you remember, and you currently said, the government, the
Justice Department, it was weaponized. You saw it on full
display against the president President Trump. You've seen it against
members of Congress. You've seen it against members of the
Jay six or these individuals that were there on January sixth.
(18:36):
That being said is that you know, this should be
a frightening development for the American people. So it's no
longer just republican rhetoric. It's no longer just conservative record rhetoric.
We now have the documentation that Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama,
Joe Biden and his cohort that we're running the country
were actively giving bad information, dishonest and to the American
(19:01):
people to discredit their enemies like President Trump, like me,
like you, And so enough is enough.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
It's time that.
Speaker 13 (19:09):
And again I'll give kudos to Pam Bondi. She's in
a fantastic attorney general. So not only is she having
to fight crime. You look at the individuals, the trafficking rings,
the child trafficking rings that have been busted, the number
of kids that have been rescued, the amount of fennel
that's been kept off the street. Meanwhile, she's also having
to sanitize, right the infection from the Biden Obama administrations
(19:31):
that had gotten into, festered and grown within the Justice Department,
within the FBI. And so she's got a heavy lift
ahead of her. I quite frankly think she's doing a
great job, and when she doesn't, I'll call her out.
But that being said, this is a frightening developments, proof
that the United States government was weaponized against its own people,
(19:52):
and we can't allow that to ever happen again.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Yeah, I would hope with a lot of the legislative
work behind this Congress in the passage of the Reconciliation Bill,
that the Oversight Committee, the Judiciary Committee, the Intelligence Committee
would utilize their authority to bring these folks in who
wrote these documents and ask them questions. Do you think
that it says something that we had to wait two
years to get this Durham Appendix? Like what can you
(20:18):
guys do still in Congress to not live in this
ecosystem where you get a report and then two years
later you get the dirt that's in a classified appendix. Well,
I mean again, I think that's part of the issue
that's been facing the current administration. There's been so much
bad information, just the obfuscation where the form administration tried
(20:44):
to cover their tracks to make it hard to get
to this evidence. And so I'm not surprised. Again, it's
frightening that this is even allowed to happen. This is
the United States of America. I mean, you and I
have a right to disagree and then go have a
beer afterwards. Right, we have a right to have this
healthy debate where we can before or against one another
on any given object or a topic. But to have
the government to be weaponized politicians weaponizing the FBI or
(21:08):
the Justice Department against individuals. Look, that didn't work for Rome,
it didn't work for the British empire. Truly is a
tell of the end of an administration and empire. So
we've got to route this out.
Speaker 13 (21:18):
And so it is a little discomforting the fact that
it has taken so long, but at least it's coming
to light.
Speaker 5 (21:24):
And again, how do we find more.
Speaker 13 (21:26):
Of these types of activities, historic activities that have taken place,
and how do we make sure that it never happens again.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
Yeah, if I were still in Congress, I'd be asking,
are there any other appendices that are like marinating for
two years in the bowels of some administrative agency that
we ought to unearth. We're glad you're on the case, Tennessee.
Congressman Andy Ogle's fighting for transparency for all of us.
Appreciate you as always.
Speaker 5 (21:48):
Being on the program.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
Absolutely, thank you. And coming up, we take to the
campaign trail where Lindsay Graham faces opposition from the head
of Project twenty twenty five, Paul Dance. He joins us.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
Next, Hey, did you know that One America News Network
has launched a twenty four to seven Twitter like social
media replacement. We're calling it free Talk forty five. So
why is it branded free Talk forty five. Well, free

Speaker 1 (24:17):
We returned to the campaign trail, where a key primary
matchup is taking shape in South Carolina for the United
States Senate. Senator Lindsey Graham is one of the Senate's
most colorful characters. Trump voters were pleased when he aggressively
defended Brett cavanauder and confirmation hearings. We've also been flum
mixed by Graham's invade Everywhere, Invite Everyone approach to public policy.
(24:39):
Enter Paul Dan's, the very bright former lead of Project
twenty twenty five. Dan's has announced his own candidacy for
the Senate, challenging Graham. Dan's played a major role in
outlining policy goals for the future Trump administration. Senator Graham
is running with the endorsement of President Trump, Senator Tim Scott,
and South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster. Paul Dan's formally declared
(24:59):
his Canadacy and Charleston, South Carolina, positioning the race as
a steel cage match. He joins us, Now, so, Paul,
why are you running for the United States Senate?
Speaker 10 (25:08):
Simple for our children and their children, and really for
this great republic to alert to last another two hundred
and fifty years. We have to stop the warmonger that's
running loose from South Carolina, and we have to get
this federal governmment back under control. Lindsay is the swamp.
He's the essence of why MAGA started in the first place.
(25:31):
And we can't have come this far to turn MAGA
over to him because MAGA will just sink into the swamp.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
Lindsay Graham has been a feature of national politics for
quite some time. He has the endorsement of President Trump,
which was issued before you got in the race. What's
your strategy to run against President Trump's endorsement?
Speaker 10 (25:50):
Well, you know, I was director of Project twenty twenty
five and that has given great lift for the first
one hundred and eighty days of this administration in a way.
I think every day President Trump endorses the policies I
was able to get up and put it into motion.
So I think we have an endorsement there. Even if
you look just today about the Endangerment Finding and the EPA,
(26:12):
that was stuff we were working on in twenty twenty two.
So it's the culmination of that. But to be clear, Look,
the people in South Carolina don't care. They are booing Lindsay.
They booed him in Pickens, They've boot him in Somerville,
they boot him in Columbia, and the booze are just
getting stronger. Maga's not going for it this time, you know,
(26:33):
no matter how much lipstick they put on him, Maga
will never fall for Lindsay.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
I was in South Carolina when President Trump prevailed in
the primary there over Nikki Haley, and I recall the
reaction that Lindsey Graham got from the crowd. It was
not a positive one. Why do you think that is?
Speaker 10 (26:51):
Look, he's a snake. If we go back to the
Russian news that's breaking, he and Hillary were essentially indecipherable,
and tooy sixteen in twenty seventeen, he would run on
CNN and basically pair at those same talking points. When
we had a chance to build a wall in twenty
seventeen for Lousi seventeen billion, what did he do? He
(27:13):
walked around about Russian collusion. He supported Bob Muller. He
told you that Bill Barr was the greatest thing since
sliced bread. And you know, we turned over, We ruined
that great opportunity to have two Houses of Congress. Well,
let's fast forward eight years. We have twenty million invaders.
What was he doing? He is the definition of what
we call control opposition in Washington, and if we don't
(27:34):
take him out right now, we will never get control
of this government. This is a bad actor. And the
fact that he's able to do this chameleon routine and
try to get on with Trump is a major problem.
Trump needs a new golf buddy. That's the problem right here.
It's you know, it's a man. Trump is obviously the
greatest president in my lifetime, maybe one of the greatest
(27:55):
in the history of the US. No bad habits. He
doesn't drink, he doesn't smoke, But golfing with warmongers is
just a terrible vice. You know, almost I'd rather him,
you know, take a stogy from time to time and
kick the golfing with warmongers to the curb.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
Well, in President Trump's defense, he also golfs with Rand Paul.
Lindsey Graham does support the war in Ukraine. What's your
position on that war?
Speaker 10 (28:20):
Not a penny? More like that. That is just an
entire operation where we shifted three hundred billion dollars that
could have gone to really rebuilding all over the United States,
our infrastructure, our ability to compete in twenty first century America,
and really a global system. But that money's untraceable to
(28:42):
feed it over to foreign old garks like Zelensky without
any accountability, without any plan and action, and you know,
it's part of this Russia hoax in the sense that
they used Russia as a way to gin up support
for the ultimate Ukrainian cause. And we're seeing all those
pieces come together. This is nothing new to Maga, to you,
(29:04):
for everybody on the ground who was fighting for him
in the first term, we knew this was coming. But
today's the day we're beginning to see the pieces and
Lindsay's one of them.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
Lindsey Graham believes that if a child was brought to
the United states illegally by their parents, that they should
be granted some flavor of amnesty. Do you think that's
a position held by Republican voters in South Carolina? And
is it one you're going to campaign on.
Speaker 10 (29:29):
Well, it's not held by us. You know, he has
a name, It's Grahamnesty. There's no question that if anyone
posts a lever for him in next June, that that's
coming down the pike. And especially when the Trump's gone,
you know that leaving Lindsay behind for all of us
is a guarantee not only for that sort of ruling
and but for more untamed immigration. Certainly, he was the
(29:55):
handmaiden for Joe Biden for the last four years. He
helped put Joe Biden's judicial picks in place. For that matter,
he put all of Obama's Supreme Court picks on. He
put Katanji Brown Jackson on the DC circuit warming up
to go onto the DC onto the Supreme Court. So
this is a dangerous guy. He does not speak for
(30:17):
South Carolina, and he does untold damage to this country.
And walking around with a Maga skin suit on is
and fooling anybody in South Carolina.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
One of the things that frustrates some of the base
activists in the party. Is the incumbent protection system that
we see, and if it is strong in the House,
it is like acid in the United States Senate. We're
sure that our friend Ken Paxton will see this treatment,
You'll likely see this treatment. But Senate incumbents protect their own.
(30:50):
How are you going to assemble a political coalition to
go against that? When Senator Graham right now has the
endorsement of your guy, Governor McMaster and also Tim Scott.
Speaker 10 (31:04):
Look, this is something that's happened through millennia, and we
just go back to the story of David v. Goliath.
It ultimately just takes courage to stand up and say
no to this kind of structure. But it's going to
take people on the ground. We have to come together
as a grassroots You know, if he has twenty million
in the bank, we don't need twenty million. We need
(31:25):
to get a sling shot or two under our aim.
But the reality is that people in South Carolina are
not The Senate seat is not for sale, and at
some point his money has a diminishing return that the
political system that supports this. To be sure, this is
the headwaters of the swamp and Project twenty twenty five.
(31:47):
We focused on the executive branch, but now we're seeing
the choke point as the United States Senate, and that's
where I'm going to I'm running into this dangerous place
because it's the only place to liberate this country.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
I want to give you a chance to direct potential
supporters to your website. But how much do you think
that sling shot will cost? What do you think you're
going to need to raise to take on one of
the most well known Republicans in the Senate.
Speaker 10 (32:12):
Sure, it's gonna cost millions, I'll be frank with you.
Speaker 7 (32:15):
We are.
Speaker 10 (32:17):
We're going to be reaching out to patriots all over
this country. Look, Lindsay is in the South Carolina problem.
He's an American problem. And I'm grateful for those to
be supporting us, especially once who've been blessed in this lifetime.
When the resources, please go to Paul Dan's dot com
and that will have ability to donate. But also a
(32:37):
lot more on our background. We are obviously number one
against endless foreign wars. Number two. We want to make
sure our kids have a shot at the future. They
need a piece of the rock. This inflation is killing
off that ability of the American dream, and the inflation
is driven in large part by this foreign adventurism. When
Lindsay got there, you know, we had a seven trillion
(32:59):
dollar deficit, but now we have rather a debt. Now
we have something on the order of thirty eight trillion dollars,
So three endless wars and thirty trillion later, that's his
record in the Senate. Our kids are never going to
have a chance to even move out of a rental
apartment at this stage, so we have to get that down.
We have to get accountability. We actually have to cut government.
(33:21):
We have to do what Doze wanted us to do.
Bring on a doze two point zero, make the great
work by Elon and his team permanent, and have the
courage to start teaming this leviathan. And we're going to
do it. You know, we have a lot of friends
around the country, and I believe we have, you know,
the spirit of the of our patriot ancestors who went
(33:43):
against this kind of British domination and threw it off.
And here on our two hundred and fiftieth and twenty
twenty six we're going to be declaring independence day from
of South Carolina from the Deep State. On June ninth,
twenty twenty.
Speaker 1 (33:58):
Six, Paul Dan's candidate for the United States Senate from
the great state of South Carolina. Thanks for joining us
on the program and explaining your positions.
Speaker 10 (34:05):
Matt, Thank you for having me.
Speaker 1 (34:07):
And coming up. They're setting local government officials on fire
in the Commonwealth of Virginia. John Reid is running for
Lieutenant governor of that state, and he'll bring us inside
a very strange case back in moments.
Speaker 2 (34:23):

What does Roku, TV, Applet, and Amazon fireTV all have
in common. The answer is that all three platforms offer
you the ability to live stream One America News Network

Speaker 5 (35:12):

America News Network, then visitor online store for the latest shirts, hats,
and mugs. Viewers are all he's asking me, how can
(36:01):
they watch OWAYN live? The solution is simple. It's a
streaming platform called cloud tv. Now it's spelled klowd TV.
Simply go to cloudtv dot com and subscribe to watch
twenty four to seven live feeds of OAN. The live

(36:22):

Speaker 5 (36:24):

Speaker 1 (36:28):
Today, they're setting local government officials on fire in the
Commonwealth of Virginia. Danville City Councilman Lee Vulgar H thirty
eight was dounced with gasoline and set on fire at
his workplace, Showcase Magazine, where he works in media and marketing.
(36:49):
The Tacker, twenty nine year old shoot see Michael buck Hayes,
entered with a five gallon bucket of gasoline, poorted on
Vulgar and ignited him outside the building. Vulgar was airlifted
to a burn center for treatment. He remained conscious and
able to communicate after the attack. Hayes fled was arrested
a few blocks away, now facing charges of attempted first
degree murder. Investigators say the attack resulted from a personal
(37:13):
dispute between Vulgar and the suspect and is unrelated to
his role as a councilman or political affiliations. On this program,
we wonder what type of personal dispute causes you to
try to soak someone else in gasoline and light them
on fire. Volgel has served on the Danville City Council
since twenty twelve. He also works in media and somebody
certainly in recovery now in the local burn unit. Local officials,
(37:34):
including Virginia Governor Glenn Younkin and the Danville Mayer and others,
they condemned the violence and prayed for Vulgar's safe recovery,
joining US now Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia,
John Reid, So, John, what happened to the city councilman
who was set on fire?
Speaker 14 (37:51):
Yeah, I think everybody's still trying to figure out the backstory.
Of course, our initial worry was that this was a
politically motivated hit, a crime. It's still a crime, but
there seems to be something that happened between these two
men on a personal level, at least that's what the
police are saying right now. But regardless, I think it's
(38:12):
an indictment of our society that we're telling people on
a regular basis that when they're upset, when they feel wronged,
when they're angry, that they don't have to check themselves,
and that it's somehow acceptable to go out and commit
a crime, sometimes to try to murder somebody. And you know,
that's not new in society, but I think for some reason,
(38:34):
we've been giving a green light to people. I mean, look,
if this is Virginia John Hinckley Junior, who tried to
kill Ronald Reagan and did ruin a lot of lives
with his attack on the sitting president, of the United
States is a free man in Virginia. That sends the
wrong message to the average citizen that somehow, when you're angry,
you get.
Speaker 4 (38:51):
To behave in a way that harms other people.
Speaker 14 (38:54):
We got to stop That's one reason I'm running for
Lieutenant governor to stop it.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
Yeah, and you are out on the campaign trail, talk
to voters about how they're thinking about these issues. How
are Virginia voters thinking about crime and public safety and
do they think things are getting better or worse right now?
Speaker 14 (39:09):
Well, we've been fortunate that we've had a very responsible
attorney general named Jason Miaris, who is law and order.
He was in the Virginia House of delegatecy He's experienced,
he's smart. I think he's very fair minded. He didn't
take the bait when I did.
Speaker 4 (39:23):
A talk show.
Speaker 14 (39:23):
I used to always try to trick him, and he
never fell for it. I think he's a smart guy.
He is beginning to push back on the crime wave
that started when Democrats were running the state. But they
pushed through a criminal justice reform which has been anything
but justice for the new victims that have been created
under their so called reforms. You know, they're fifty three
(39:46):
dead Virginians because people were let out of prison early
under the Democrat plan. And I don't know whether this
is the way it is around the state, but you know,
I live in a very nice suburban area and the
lady who runs the drug store down the street from
me says she gets robbed every day doesn't even bother
calling the cops anymore, because there's no point.
Speaker 4 (40:06):
We've got to stop that.
Speaker 14 (40:07):
When you have that kind of crime on a daily basis,
it makes it worse, you know, a decade from now
what everybody thinks they'd get away with whatever they want.
Speaker 1 (40:16):
They called it smart justice, and they carried it to
all of the state legislatures, saying that if you let
people out of prison earlier, that they would be more
productive members of society and less likely to commit recidivism.
If we aren't going to let people out early, and
that does seem like a failed and wrong strategy. As
lieutenant governor, how will you have an impact on your
(40:37):
state's correction system so that we can drive down the
rate of recidivism.
Speaker 14 (40:42):
Yeah, I think part of this is having strong leaders
who will not tolerate illegal violent behavior. You know, the
Democrats reflexively talk about gun control. They reflexively talk about
how Republicans are cruel and mean and horrible, and that
emotional argument has worked. But then as more and more
people in Virginia and in other states across the country
(41:04):
become victims, I think there is a sobriety that's hitting
where someone like me can say, look, I'm a nice guy,
I'm a good guy. I believe in second chances. But
when you have proven that you're a violent criminal, we
are going to lock you up. I've got eight and
a half million Virginians to be concerned about. I'm going
to look after the ones that are obeying the law,
(41:26):
who check their own emotions, who deal with things in
a responsible manner. I'm not going to contort myself and
bend over backwards to take care of the criminals. I
got to look after the families and the good guys.
And that's a different mindset than what we've seen around
the country probably for the last decade.
Speaker 1 (41:43):
A lot of my friends who live in work in Washington,
d C. They're so grateful that Governor Youngkin is in
charge in Virginia because they've got a I guess what's
close to a Red State in close proximity, and they
are grateful that they get to do more to protect
themselves with the Second Amendment rights. As Lieutenant governor, would
you what do you think needs to be done in
(42:04):
Virginia to protect the Second Amendment rights that are well
defined now and perhaps to vindicate others.
Speaker 4 (42:10):
You want me to be blunt.
Speaker 14 (42:11):
Stop the Democrats because every time they open their mouths,
they're trying to restrict law abiding citizens. They're putting in
no gun zones. Well, that just helps the possibility that
a legitimate person who wants to protect themselves and their
family and may intervene to stop a crime in action
winds up getting caught and they become a felon. Meanwhile,
(42:34):
I you know, I live in the city of Richmond,
and their murders all the time in the city of Richmond.
I grew up around Richmond when it was the murder
capital of America, believe it or not, because the drugs
were getting run up and down.
Speaker 4 (42:46):
I ninety five and I sixty four.
Speaker 14 (42:48):
I assume that everybody I deal with in the city
Richmond is packing and I just don't know that they've
got a weapon.
Speaker 4 (42:54):
And I will be damned if I'm going.
Speaker 14 (42:57):
To be an elected official and allow the Democrats to
get their way and disarm people like me and my
family who can carry and can be responsible, while we
let the criminals run wild.
Speaker 4 (43:07):
And a lot of Republicans are scared to say it.
Speaker 14 (43:10):
They're scared to stand up and be blunt about it
and bold, and that's the kind of leadership I want
to bring.
Speaker 4 (43:16):
We got to fight back against this.
Speaker 14 (43:18):
Once it's lost, that Second Amendment, once it's restricted and lost,
it's going to be hard to get it back.
Speaker 1 (43:23):
John Reid is running for lieutenant governor in the Commonwealth
of Virginia. Thanks for having a conversation with us out
on the campaign trail. Stay safe and we look forward
to checking back in with you.
Speaker 4 (43:32):
Thanks man, I always appreciate Mattie.
Speaker 1 (43:34):
Take care and coming out. There was a tragic F
thirty five crash in California. We'll get into what that
says about the platform and discuss the safety of the
pilot who was able to successfully eject back in a
quick moment.
Speaker 5 (43:52):
Hey everyone, here's a question for you.

launched a twenty four to seven Twitter like social media replacement.
We're calling it free Talk forty five. So why is
it branded free Talk forty five. Well, free talk because
you will not be censored for expressing your opinion there,
and forty five because forty five is a really lucky number.
(45:50):
So join us at free Talk forty five and express
yourself with no fear of cancelation ever.
Speaker 1 (46:04):
Welcome back at US Navy F thirty five C Stealth
JED has crashed in central California near Naval Air Station Lamore,
which is about forty miles southwest of Fresno. The aircraft
burst into flames at about six thirty pm local time
yesterday when it made impact in an abandoned field. The
pilot ejected safely and does not have any major reported injuries,
(46:25):
Thank goodness. Emergency crews responded to the scene. The Navy
is currently investigating the incident, and we will continue to
follow this story. It is important to note that we
don't know what happened here, and we should await the
findings before making any judgments. But when I saw the
news of this story, I drew upon my own experiences
on the House Armed Services Committee in Congress where the
(46:46):
F thirty five program left a lot to be desired.
The F thirty five is our signature air Force platform.
What percentage of them are fully mission capable today?
Speaker 5 (46:58):
It's a number we have for a operational, full.
Speaker 1 (47:01):
Operationally capable, fifty five percent across that. Do you think
that's a good number or a bad number? I think
that's not a good number, failing. As of February of
twenty twenty three, it's a little over a year ago,
only twenty nine percent were fully mission capable. No basis
to dispute it, but I would like to as so
you would agree that fifty five percent is like a
d the twenty nine percent is definitely failing, right for.
Speaker 4 (47:26):
Fully mission capable?
Speaker 5 (47:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (47:28):
I also saw cases where the United States Air Force
was too quick to deem a crash pilot error when
it in fact was equipment malfunction. There was one case
in my district. I'll never forget it. The family of
an Osprey pilot was told for over a decade that
his death was a consequence of his own mistakes in Afghanistan.
Speaker 3 (47:49):
That was a lie.
Speaker 1 (47:51):
In fact, the Osprey aircraft, the platform, the equipment malfunctioned.
Why does this happen? Why do military accident investigations certainly
feel the pressure to lean toward pilot error Because the
families of dead pilots don't have lobbyists and board seats
and sweetheart contracts to offer his bait. Military defense contractors do,
(48:16):
and that's often why you see that happen. And we
certainly hope that in this case, everyone will follow the
facts before we go. Vish Burah is here because it's
a requirement of his employment contracts to be here. But
Vish one place the F thirty five is flying right
now is Israel, and we are getting reports that there
is a change in sentiment that President Trump may be
(48:37):
noting the Times of Israel offering us this headline that
President Trump warned a donor that Maga world was starting
to hate Israel. What do you make of the news?
Speaker 3 (48:47):
Well, I think this is a very very important development, Matt,
because this isn't talking about Trump's feelings towards Israel or
Netan Yahoo, but his supporter's feelings. And I think that's
really important to note that President Trump has his ear
to the ground and understands the sentiment that's flowing back
up to him from the grassroots. Look, we just saw
it during the Twelve Day War that there was a
(49:10):
big disagreement over how we should approach Israel's bombing over
ran and their decapitation efforts, and whether that was really
you think Trump.
Speaker 1 (49:19):
You are here for President Trump's accurate read of the
movement in the base. I think he's got a finger
on the.
Speaker 3 (49:25):
Pulk, a finger on the pulse. He's got it totally accurate.
He does. He's starting to see that there are not
just the young people.
Speaker 1 (49:33):
We already knew.
Speaker 3 (49:34):
That the younger generation, especially GOP voters, were either apathetic
to Israel or didn't really like Israel, but that older
voters now are also not liking the idea of a
forever war. Not just.
Speaker 1 (49:47):
But it's important to diagnose that we have great respect
and great love for the people of Israel. It's of
course the decisions of their government right now that I
think there are people who are rightly criticizing.
Speaker 5 (49:56):
So you have.
Speaker 1 (49:58):
Also become the guy to let us know whenever there
is a big leak on the internet. Last week it
was the t app but we've got a new hot
series of leaks. Tell us about them now.
Speaker 3 (50:08):
This has been called a leak, but it's not really
a leak. It was It's called the Panama Playlist. And
basically this researcher had went out and did a little digging,
did a little social engineering, figure out that figure out
who some prominent people are on Spotify, and get their playlists.
He basically scraped this data and then compiled it into
(50:30):
a website where he's now displaying the playlist.
Speaker 1 (50:33):
So for out, Okay, give me the JD Vance playlist.
Speaker 3 (50:36):
So the JD Vance playlist. Let me tell you first
of all that JD Vance is a millennial confirmed. I mean,
he's got I want it that way by Backstreet Boys.
Can you get any more nineties millennial than Battery Boys?
He's got that going on. He also has you are
a tourist by Death Cab by Cutie, I personally am
a I will possess your heart fan by Death Cab.
(50:59):
But and he's got get lucky too, by the net Done,
the Neptunes and the Daft Punk. I mean, look, I
think jd all right.
Speaker 1 (51:05):
He gets down. How about Rond de Santis, potentially his
opponent in the Tory twenty eight presidential.
Speaker 3 (51:10):
Lie Ron DeSantis, the spiritual boomer confirmed. I mean he's
got ring of fire, He's got a piano man, Billy Joel.
Speaker 1 (51:20):
Is that Ronda Santas's playlist or mine? Like my playlist?
Speaker 3 (51:25):
I don't know what you guys are drinking down the hours.
Speaker 1 (51:28):
That Ron de Santa spent with me in the car
and he had headphones in the whole time and we
could have been jammin in Life as a Highway together. Ron,
you missed the moment? Did Mike Johnson?
Speaker 3 (51:38):
Mike Johnson, let me tell you the known as a
pious and religious man, Mike Johnson's playlist indicates he's kind
of a playboy and even a romantic. Listen to the
songs on his playlist in order, One Night, Love Affair
by Brian Adams, Oh No, All All through the Night
by Sidney Lawner, and then Can't Help Only in Love
(52:01):
by Chris Isaac.
Speaker 1 (52:02):
Did Mike Johnson post is doing it? Makes he's getting
down there.
Speaker 3 (52:07):
He's missing a little Marvin Gaye. I'd recommend it.
Speaker 1 (52:09):
Mike Johnson. You know what I we know why Kelly
Johnson always has a smile on her face. This man
knows how to set the mood. Does Taylor Lorenz.
Speaker 3 (52:18):
Well, I don't know if Taylor Lorenz knows how to
set the mood, but she's clearly looking for someone to
set the mood. First of all, First of one that
popped out is a just Breathed by Pearl Jam. I
hope she takes that advice herself. But one thing, that
one song that caught my eye is Romeo and Juliet
by Dire Straits.
Speaker 1 (52:38):
Now, great song, great song.
Speaker 3 (52:41):
I love the song.
Speaker 1 (52:42):
Listening to it on the way home tonight.
Speaker 5 (52:45):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (52:46):
Taylor. Message to you, if you are still looking for
a Romeo and Juliet, you can get it if you
really want by Jimmy Cliff is also on your playlist.
I think that's the message.
Speaker 1 (52:58):
We've got your face. Of all of the leaks, of
all of the playlists, is there one that you say,
this is what Vishburah could listen to and really really
align Who do you align with? Certainly a virtuous, honest,
respectable person.
Speaker 3 (53:14):
The playlist that I identified the most with is Sam
Bankman Freed. I mean, he's got he's got this. DIDT
He's not available, I'm sorry, Diddy was unavailable. So Sam
Sam Bankman Freed, He's got Savior tears by the Weekend.
I like to think of myself as the weekend in
real life, or at least the Indian form.
Speaker 1 (53:35):
And he's certainly what your timesheets indicated.
Speaker 3 (53:38):
And another thing that my timesheets might indicate is that
I'm young, dumb, and broke by Colin also found on
Sam Bankman Freed's playlist, so I identify with it very much.
Speaker 1 (53:50):
Now people don't know this, but you were my driver
for a period of time in our congressional office, and
you had a playlist of songs purchased. What was the
total number of songs that you had purchased on your
on your Apple playlist?
Speaker 3 (54:04):
It was one song?
Speaker 1 (54:06):
One one song. So so I just before we even
tell you what it is, I need all of America
thinking about the one song that was worth a dollar
ninety nine cents for Fish to buy it and jamming
down the road listening to Hey look, ma I made it.
So for all the judgment you have of other people's playlists,
(54:28):
let's be grateful that they don't know too much about yours.
Before we roll, there's something about this Durham appendix getting
out at the last moment that really irks me. Because
we did have people fighting hard to get to the
bottom of the origins of the Russia hoax, and we
were so maligned. I mean, we played the clippler earlier
(54:50):
in the program from Chris Cuomo, but it was nightly
on Madow CNN. They would malign our character. They would
say we had bad mode and we have to wait
two and a half years to get the Durham appendix, Like,
isn't there Maybe I am so close to it. I
am the tempest in the teapot because I'm like an
og Russia Hooks Truther. But is the rest of America
(55:13):
willing to accept the fact do you have to wait
two years after a report to get the actual dirt
that's in it?
Speaker 3 (55:19):
Well, you know what, Matt, You're kind of understanding how
I felt when the Hunter Biden laptop was released and
the media and no one would confirm it for about
two years or more. Uh, And it was a cover
up by the deep state. There were a lot of
players involved in that cover up. And what you're finding
out is the same thing that Durham essentially warehoused all
the most important stuff out of his report in this appendix.
(55:42):
You know you mentioned earlier in the show, you know
how much and more of these appendixes appendices exists throughout
the deep state, you know, rotting away in some battle.
And I think, I think that the deep state needs
an appendectomy stat I mean, we need to get in
there and make sure that other reports are not excluding
(56:02):
or omitting or hiding information in appendices that are not
only declassified but just not mentioned at all, and hoping
that somebody sometime in the future will bump into them
and reveal the truth to the American people.
Speaker 1 (56:15):
Yeah, like, is there a Mulla Report appendix that that's
just waiting to hatch two years from now that's actually
going to say that Hillary Clinton was working for Vladimir Putin?
Speaker 3 (56:23):
I mean, now we have to ask the question because
it's very possible if this is the case, what they
did with such a possible seditious trees in his conspiracy.
Speaker 1 (56:32):
Do you buy my theory that with the raid at
mar A Lago we could have a predicate criminal act
in Florida activating a Florida grand jury.
Speaker 3 (56:39):
I absolutely agree, Matt.
Speaker 5 (56:42):
I was.
Speaker 3 (56:42):
I can remember to this day that when that mar
A Lago raid happened, I was sensed. And you know
what It felt like a crime then and it feels
like crime now.
Speaker 1 (56:51):
And it may just be the boomerang that comes around
to get them. And that's all the time we have.
