Speaker 1 (00:00):
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green has taken the House of Representatives
by storm. She's now alleging that the Republican Party is
betraying America First and Apak has just released a statement
saying that Marjorie Taylor Green is betraying America. She'll explain
everything at the top of the show. Plus President Trump's
historic tariffs have gone into effect. We'll check on how
that's impacting global trade and one of the most important

(00:22):
trading partners in.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
The world, India.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
We'll check in on the latest in the Big Apple
and update you on jarring allegations against Obama's former CIA
chief with the man who literally wrote the book on
John Brennan. It's all next on the Matt Gates Show.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Let's do this. We're shaking up Washington, d C. We're
breaking the fever.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
You haven't watched this guy on television.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
It's like a machine.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
He's great.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Matt Gates, as we join you this evening, tariffs are
going to take effect with almost all countries. President Trump
is reshaping the global economy on terms favorable to the
American It's a big gambit, but the hope is that
the American dollar will go farther for families when you
can buy goods that are made here. There's also a

(01:10):
big bet that domestic manufacturing can meet that objective by
providing what Americans need food, pharmaceuticals, military equipment. We cannot
leave the Trump era reliant on other nations for these
critical needs of our country. All transitions have some pain.
President Trump has used the comparison to a surgery in

(01:32):
the past. President Trump commented on the success of his
trade strategy today, saying, quote, tariffs are flowing into the
USA at levels thought or not thought even possible. But
it's not just here at home, where President Trump is
diligently working to calm the waters. Tonight, the war between
Russia and Ukraine rages, with America increasingly worried about nuclear escalation.

(01:53):
A meeting between Trump and Putin could be on the
horizon in the coming days, after a multi hour meeting
between the Rush President and Presidential Envoy Steve Whitcoff. As
Russia and Ukraine's militaries suffer catastrophic losses, our own military
has endured tragedy at Fort Stuart, Georgia yesterday, an active

(02:14):
duty sergeant opened fire on his own team with a handgun.
He wounded five fellow soldiers before being tackled. All five
are expected to recover. This morning, Army Secretary Dan Driscoll
presented medals to the soldiers who stopped the gunmen and
provided emergency care to the victims. He praised their courage
to quickly intervene to their own peril. He also avowed

(02:35):
a transparent investigation to ensure safety at our military basis.

Speaker 5 (02:39):
The fast action of these soldiers under stress and under
trauma and under fire absolutely saved lives from being lost.
One of the soldiers tackled the persons have just.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Think about this.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
They were unarmed and ran at and tackled an armed
person who they knew was actively shoeing their buddies, their colleagues,
their fellow soldiers. Another soldier jumped on top of the
person to could do them until federal law enforcement was
able to arrive. We are going to do a deep,
hard investigation. It will be the findings will be transparent,

(03:15):
They will be released to the American public. We commit
to you that anything we discover during the investigation that
can make this base and other bases like It's safer,
we will act on.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
As quickly as possible.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Amid all of this, there is a reckoning underway in
the Republican Party.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Some in Washington continue.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
To support foreign wars, massive spending, and powerful interests over
regular folks. Trump represents an evolution in Republican politics from
elitist to populist. Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green is concerned
that some elements of the Republican Party may be reverting
to the establishment mean. This is a quote from the
congresswoman in an interview with The Daily Mail.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
It caught our eye.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
She said, quote, I don't know if the Republican Party
is leaving me or if I'm kind of not relating
to the Republican Party as much anymore.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
I don't know which one it is.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
I think the Republican Party has turned its back on
America first, and the workers and just regular Americans joining
us now is Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green. Congresswomen,
we have so much to get to, but first, in
your home state of Georgia, we had this attack at
Fort Stewart. I know that we honor the bravery of
those who were involved in really putting down this shooter,

(04:28):
but what do you know and how are you reflecting
on that event.

Speaker 6 (04:32):
Well, we're still waiting to hear more details emerge about
the shooter and what led to this tragic situation at
Fort Stewart, and continuing to pray for.

Speaker 7 (04:41):
The victims and their families.

Speaker 6 (04:43):
So I'll be looking forward to finding out more information.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Okay, So the reason I invited you on is because
I think you really diagnosed things well ahead of time,
and you are concerned about the Republican Party betraying some
of the values of America. First that Present and Trump
ran on that you've really been standard bearer four in
the House of Representatives.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
And in lieu of that.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
We got to talk about APAK attacking you, sending out
fundraising emails saying that you are not acting in the
interests of our country. Marjorie Taylor Green your reaction to
APA's fundraising emails attacking you.

Speaker 6 (05:22):
Yeah, and Matt, I'll go ahead and be straight and
honest about this.

Speaker 7 (05:25):
I'm absolutely furious.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
And as a matter of fact, APAC needs to register
as a foreign lobbyist because they're breaking US laws by
donating to members of Congress and by taking them on
a fully funded trip to Israel, every single freshman member
of Congress's year. They just took them over just recently
and had them meet with the Prime.

Speaker 7 (05:45):
Minister of Israel. But let's frame that correctly.

Speaker 6 (05:48):
They take them over to meet with the secular government
of nuclear armed Israel. Israel who is in less than
four hundred billion dollars in debt, Israel, who has taxpayer
funded health care in college. Israel is not hurting, and
they've already proven that they are more than capable of
not only defending themselves, but annihilating their enemies to the

(06:10):
point of genocide. And that's what's happening in Godza. And Matt,
the reason why APAC is attacking me is because I
dared to tell the truth. Well, Matt, you and I
are good friends. We serve together in Congress, and you
know that I have taken zero money from APAC. As
a matter of fact, I am so unapologetically American. I
have a sign on the door of my office that

(06:33):
tells all lobbyists, foreign lobbyists to stay out of my
office and that they have.

Speaker 7 (06:37):
To follow the law.

Speaker 6 (06:39):
They have to follow the law and register as a
foreign lobbyist and be clear about what country they represent.
Because I represent America. As a matter of fact, I've
been saying America first for a long time, but I'm
getting to the point of saying America only.

Speaker 7 (06:54):
And I'll tell you why, Matt.

Speaker 6 (06:55):
It's because pretty much, if you're under the age of forty,
you have no hope for the future.

Speaker 7 (07:00):
We're thirty seven trillion dollars in debt.

Speaker 6 (07:02):
People can't afford to buy a house, they can't afford rent,
they can't afford insurance, they can't afford their bills, and
we have HB one visas stealing all these American jobs.

Speaker 7 (07:12):
And I'm sick and tired of fed up with it.
So if APAC, who donates, by.

Speaker 6 (07:16):
The way, to more Democrats than Republicans as a matter
of fact, they're all for Democrats, but they do donate
to Republicans as well.

Speaker 7 (07:25):
But listen, if.

Speaker 6 (07:25):
APAC wants to come after me and accuse me of betraying.

Speaker 7 (07:30):
My American values, a pack, you know what, you can
bring it on. I am totally ready for.

Speaker 6 (07:37):
This, and this is a fight that I will fight,
and I will give it my all, and I can
guarantee you you're going to lose.

Speaker 7 (07:43):
Because Americas fed up.

Speaker 6 (07:46):
Matt They're fed up to here with funding foreign wars,
funding foreign causes, funding foreign countries for foreign reasons that
have nothing to do with Americans.

Speaker 7 (07:57):
While Americans work their ass off every.

Speaker 6 (08:00):
Day and pay their taxes and come home and their
living paycheck to paycheck, and their credit cards are matched out.

Speaker 7 (08:07):
I don't care anymore. I honestly don't care. So I'll
burn this bridge to the ground, and.

Speaker 6 (08:12):
I will let the planes light the way, because this
is a fight that needs to happen.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
If we were still in Congress, I would just say
I associate myself with the comments of the general lady
from Georgia, because everything you said there is factual and
true and at times unpleasant for people to hear. I
would profer that about seventy five percent of the Republican
majority is beholden to Apak in their votes on these questions.

(08:39):
Do you think that percentage is too high or too low?

Speaker 6 (08:42):
Actually, I think it's much higher. I introduce amendments in
our Department of Defense Appropriations bill, and I introduced one
to defund the five hundred million dollars to Israel, And
there were only six members of Congress that voted for
my amendment.

Speaker 7 (09:00):
The whole of Congress. There were only two Republicans that
voted for that amendment.

Speaker 6 (09:04):
That was myself and Thomas Massey, who, by the way,
both of us take zero dollars from Apec. Here's the
reality of the situation, Matt, and I'll say this as
straight and honest as I can is it feels like
our government is occupied because.

Speaker 7 (09:18):
Our government tiptoes. Every member of Congress tiptoes.

Speaker 6 (09:22):
The administration, whether it's Democrat or Republican, tiptoes around and obeys.
It gives Israel every wish that they demand, to the
point of fighting foreign wars for them.

Speaker 7 (09:33):
I will tell you something. For one Verse and.

Speaker 6 (09:38):
Genesis, they are all held and beholdened to the verse
in Genesis that says, bless those who bless you, and
curse those who curse you. Well, God was talking to Abraham.
He wasn't talking to the secular government of Israel.

Speaker 7 (09:54):
And Christians today need to wake up to that. I'm
a Christian.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
They picked out one line in the whole Bible to
be like entirely behold it too, because I don't know
that it's like the rest of the book that exactly
has ensorceled like the folks in the United States Congress.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Do you think Israel is a friend to the United States.

Speaker 6 (10:12):
I think Israel is our ally and I'm not personally
against Israel or the Israeli people. As a matter of fact,
I've said October seventh was horrific and all of the
hostages need to be.

Speaker 7 (10:23):
Returned, and I've prayed for them so many times.

Speaker 6 (10:26):
But at the same time, what Israel is doing in
Gaza is genocide. It is murdering innocent people, it's murdering Christians,
and it's starving children. And I can tell you what
the Bible does say about children. Jesus is very clear
about how you treat children and what happens to those
that mistreat children.

Speaker 7 (10:47):
Because they are the most innocent and they don't deserve it.
And so here's the.

Speaker 6 (10:51):
Reality, mat Americans have got to be bold and stand
up and fight for our country because we are on
the precipice of losing everything. We're thirty seven trillion dollars
in debt today, it's going to be forty trillion dollars
in debt tomorrow, and we are soon going to be.

Speaker 7 (11:09):
In fifty trillion and beyond. It's out of control.

Speaker 6 (11:12):
And our dollar, our dollar doesn't go near as far
as it used to go even ten years ago and
twenty years ago. And look, I don't care. I'm fighting
for my kids. They're twenty two, twenty five, and twenty seven.

Speaker 7 (11:24):
And if anybody gets in my.

Speaker 6 (11:25):
Way and tries to come at me, because I'm fighting
for my American children's generation that is suffering under decades
of failure in Washington, yeah, bring it on, come at me.

Speaker 7 (11:39):
I'll give it all I got all day long.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
I have had about a half dozen reporters reach out
to me in the last few weeks saying, tell us
about the split between President Trump and Marjorie Taylor Green,
and I just laugh at them, because you are the
one animating the policies and the values and the coalition
that stands with President Trump and has his back when

(12:01):
a lot of these Johnny cum Lately's are not to
be found. And so I hate to even platform the
concept because it's so patently absurd. But I do want
you to reflect on why you think the media is
trying to separate you from from the leader of our party.

Speaker 7 (12:19):
Well, Number one, the media hates Donald Trump.

Speaker 6 (12:22):
They have hated him from the beginning, and they've always
done anything they can.

Speaker 7 (12:26):
To destroy him. Guess who else. The media hates me, MTG.
They hate me and Matt. You've seen it from the beginning.
They've done everything they can to destroy me too.

Speaker 6 (12:36):
So it makes perfect sense to me that they're trying
to pretend like President Trump and MTG or all of
a sudden enemies.

Speaker 7 (12:44):
When that's very far from reality. As a matter of fact.

Speaker 6 (12:47):
You and I and just a few others have been
the champions of MAGA and America first, and we have
fought on the front lines literally from the beginning. So
you know they want to create this wedge between us
is no wedge. I support President Trump, but I can
and I will agree with him or disagree with him
at times when I feel it's important because you want

(13:09):
to know something. Not everyone in the President's circle.

Speaker 7 (13:12):
As a matter of fact.

Speaker 6 (13:13):
I'd say a lot of them are the Johnny come latelies,
and a lot of them didn't support him back when
we were fighting for him after the sole An election
of twenty twenty and when you and I were traveling
the country demanding and putting it in everyone's face. But no,
Donald Trump is the leader of the Republican Party, and
you are not going to replace him. Well, they rolled

(13:34):
out the red carpet into the Oval office for all
the neo cons you know, like Matt Mark Levin, you know,
and all of them that really want the forever foreign wars,
because that's how they get their big donations, and that's
how they make their money on contracts.

Speaker 7 (13:50):
And lobbyists and consulting fees. And this is the reality
in Washington, d C.

Speaker 6 (13:55):
But Matt, I'm telling you, you've got to tell the
people watching your show every single day that Washington DC
is against the average American because it is occupied and
controlled by foreign lobbyists of foreign countries. And we saw
that full well after the war in Ukraine started, when
we saw basically what seemed to be here directors of
Ukrainian soldiers limping through the halls of Congress begging congressmen

(14:19):
for money to be sent over to Ukraine, while Ukraine
is not even a NATO member nation and we.

Speaker 7 (14:24):
Have nothing to do with that war. So America, you
better wake up, and you better wake up fast.

Speaker 6 (14:29):
And I'm going to go one step further, Matt, and
I rarely do this any people support If Apak is
coming after me, that means a lot of other big
nasty donors are going to be coming after me as well.

Speaker 7 (14:42):
So I'm going to ask if people will pitch in
and donate to me.

Speaker 6 (14:45):
My website is literally MTG for America MTG for America
dot com, and I could really use your help while
I'm being attacked.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
I think a lot of Americans are going to rush
to your side as they are always have. I mean,
you have spent your entire time in Congress under attack,
and you always come out on top, and you always
come out with history able to look back and see.
She was right about the war in Ukraine. She was
right about the dangers of censorship and cancel culture.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
Look you look at how.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
Those issues have moved toward the position of Marjorie Taylor Green.
My suspicion is the US Israel relationship will be the
next in that trilogy. Georgia Congressman Marjorie Taylor Green, thank
you as always for fighting for us on the Hill
and for joining the program.

Speaker 7 (15:31):
Thank you, Matt, I really appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (15:33):

Speaker 1 (18:05):
India it's the world's largest democracy, with a billion and
a half people, Almost a billion of them voted in
the last election. So how is America's relationship going with
this powerhouse of the global South.

Speaker 10 (18:18):
US President Donald Trump has doubled tariffs on India from
twenty five to fifty percent. Trump's executive order cites threats
to US national security because of India's purchase of oil
from Russia.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
The new tariffs come atop the twenty five percent existing.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Tariffs that were already in place.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
So we're looking at this fifty percent up charge now
on Indian products entering America. Trump's administration framed the move
as a measure to reduce support for Russia's war effort
after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. India trade with Russia surged
from about thirteen billion dollars in twenty twenty one to
about fifty billion dollars in twenty twenty two, all the

(19:00):
way to sixty eight point seven billion dollars in the
last fiscal year, with expectations to cross one hundred billion
dollars by twenty thirty. By August twenty twenty four, India
had become the largest importer of Russian oil, overtaking China.
Russia has historically supplied a bulk of India's defense procurement.
Between twenty twelve and twenty sixteen, Russia accounted for sixty

(19:21):
eight percent of India's defense imports. Last year, India became
a conduit for technology exports to Russia. Despite sanctions, it
supplied about four hundred and thirty four million dollars worth
of high tech goods, including servers and KEYAI technology to Russia.
So how will the economy and global behavior change with

(19:41):
these new tariffs on India? Joining US now geopolitical commentator
on strategic affairs Dave Ramaswami. So, Dave, what do you
make of this fifty percent tariff on India?

Speaker 4 (19:53):
Matt Chijinping's greatest ally in Washington? Has whoever decided to
treat India like China. Life isn't a Chuck Norris movie.
You can't fight twenty attackers at once and expect to win.
That's what we're doing by placing high tariffs on allies
and partners. Twenty five percent tariffs on India makes total
sense as an opening move negotiating leverage, but fifty percent

(20:17):
same as China. That's Chi Jinping's early Christmas present. It's
like doing knee surgery with a sledgehammer instead of a scallopel.
The patient came in with knee pain and leaves unable
to walk. That's why we need targeted tariffs, not a
scattershot approach that turns allies and partners into enemies.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Well, I think the administration will respond by saying it's
been India who's been having Christmas with Russia a bit
too much, And the secondary layer of these tariffs are
a consequence of India increasing their commerce with a country
that we would like to abandon a war effort in Ukraine.
Why should India be allowed to fund the Russian war

(20:57):
effort without consequences.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
That's a great question, Matt, But remember this, you're a
DC expert. The Ukraine war ends in twenty four hours
when DC turns off the weapons figot. We've spent and
sent two hundred billion dollars directly to Ukraine, but Americans
paid an extra one trillion dollars in food and fuel
from failed Russia sanctions. That's one point two trillion dollars total.

(21:24):
Zelensky would have showed up at your wedding in combat fatigues, Matt.
Cost playing at Churchill while taxpayers foot the bill. And
get this, when gas prices hit five and six dollars
a gallon in America in the spring and summer of
twenty twenty two, the Biden administration begged India to buy
Russian oil to stabilize energy markets. India kept our gas

(21:46):
from exploding to ten dollars. Now we're punishing them with
fifty percent tariffs for doing water State Department and Security
Establishment asked three years before. But I agree with you
this issue. It was more complex than what most people realize.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
But just do you assess that this high tiff rate
will get Modi and the rest of the Indian government
rethinking their relationship with Russia.

Speaker 4 (22:14):
Matt, India is kind of one of the countries on
a large scale, which is like Switzerland. They want to
have good relationships with all countries. You know, as an
American citizen and someone of Indian origin, I personally realized
that the Indian people overall want close ties with America,

(22:35):
but they also recognize that Russia in the past has
supported them when America did not. While we were close
to Pakistan, Russia had India's back. So it's a complex
dynamic at play.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Yeah, But I mean that was the Cold War. We're
in a pretty different position right now. I mean, how
long how long does India get to lean on Cold
War allegiances with Russia to engage in commerce that we
would punish China for. I you know that that's an
opertive question, But I also want to talk about how
this is going to affect Americans. As you look at

(23:12):
this fifty percent tariff, do you see particular sectors, particular products, inputs,
industries that are going to be most affected.

Speaker 4 (23:22):
No, that's a great question, Matt, And let me take
you back little time, traveling to the covid time. You know,
the covid era covid leak from a Wuhan lab China
killed a million Americans and still controls ninety percent of
our antibiotics. Five years later, zero new antibiotic factories in America.

(23:42):
We are buying funeral supplies from the people who killed
our family members. But nine of American prescriptions are generics,
and India supplies forty percent of them. Met Foreman for diabetes,
blood pressure medicines, the drugs keeping millions of Americans alive.
So this sector, I hope, you know, there's gonna be

(24:03):
a price to be pid. But then again, I hope
Grandma's heart medicine has an exemption.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
Yeah, that will be I think a key pinch point.
It will be the pharmaceuticals. I think that's the canary
and the coal mine and all of this. And President
Trump wants to see a redmestication of pharmaceuticals. I think
that's terrific, and it'll be up to a lot smarter
minds than me as to how to design that in
a way that allows Grandma to get her medications at

(24:29):
a reasonable price, but also doesn't have us in a
situation where I remember during COVID the Indians shut down
a good amount of the export of PPE for a
short period of time. They ultimately relaxed that policy, but
like when things got real, they were willing to be
India first, and so we've got to be willing to
be America first, and I think that means some resilience.
How do you think China's going to react to this?

(24:50):
It's obviously this triangular relationship with China, India and Russia
has shaped how we look at this part of the
world for decades.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
Do you think China SE's opportun unity?

Speaker 4 (25:01):
Absolutely, Matt, But let me correct you slightly.

Speaker 10 (25:04):
Sure.

Speaker 4 (25:04):
During the COVID era, China, sorry India supplied, on President
Trump's request, millions of tablets of hydroxychloroquin early on when
there was no vaccine, but our health establishment pretty much
destroyed all of it because they wanted the vaccines. And
of course India had to put a temporary halt on
PP exports because they had a domestic shortage. Once that

(25:29):
was fixed, they started exporting, and then again remember they
kept the ivermectin flowing to American citizens, saving thousands of
our fellow citizens when we had dot vaccines and a
lot of doctors denying early treatment. So your question, is
China going to benefit? Obviously, I mean this is shi
Jinpings and his inner circles wet dream that India is

(25:52):
being pushed away from America into China's hands. And China
and Russia both are creating alternative paymentsystems. They're going to dedollarize.
And this is what nobody in Washington understands. Excessive tariffs
and sanctions accelerate dedollarization. The dollars seventy percent of global
reserves in the year two thousand. Today it's about fifty

(26:14):
eight percent. So when we weaponize sanctions against everyone, countries
start trading in yuan and rubles. So this is where
we have to be really careful. Every unnecessary tariff pushes
countries out of the American financial system, not into it,
lose dollar reserve status, and we become Venezuela hyperinflation, unable

(26:38):
to finance our debt, forced to print money until it's worthless.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
Dave Ramaswami certainly an intelligent commentator on strategic global affairs.
We greatly appreciate you coming on the program and sharing
your perspective.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
Thank you, Matt.

Speaker 3 (29:24):
My administration would be Donald Trump's worst nightmare. And you
don't need to take me at my word or take
Andrew Cuomo at his You need only look at the
actions of the Trump administration. Since I won the Democratic.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
Primer bragging about being a nightmare, Well, this might be
the nightmare for every freedom loving New Yorker, whether they
realize it or not. That was card carrying socialist nominee
Mayor for New York, Zoronmandami, standing outside Federal Plaza, hurling
a defiant threat against President Trump, who, according to reports,
has been in touch with individuals on the ground in

(29:58):
New York trying to figure out way to stop this
unhinged socialist from becoming mayor, and that plan may involve
more and more of a little bit of inclusion with
former Governor Andrew Cuomo, who is running independently. Zoron's rhetoric
isn't just the ramblings of a privileged Kami. It's the
latest symptom of a city spiraling into progressive pandemonium. Mundami

(30:21):
promises free bussing, free erant government owned grocery stores, and
essentially a redistribution of wealth with insane tax policy. They
want New York to be a sanctuary fortress for illegal aliens,
but unsafe for regular Americans just to walk around. Not
to be outdone, Mayor Adams appears to be playing a
game of progressive Chicken with Zoron and his administration unveiled

(30:41):
a sixty three million dollar taxpayer funded shelter exclusively for
one hundred and fifty transgender and gender non conforming homeless
individuals running through twenty thirty.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
In Long Island.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
Because nothing says progress like segregating the transgendered homeless. Council
Minority leader Joanna Aria Yola nails it. This is progressive
political theater, diverting cash from otherwise really important security needs
of the city. Crime is swored twenty percent and homelessness
ninety thousand in the city. That's because they're prioritizing boutique

(31:17):
bunkers over the basic things that.

Speaker 2 (31:19):
Improve quality of life.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
Mondami's nightmare. It's taking shape, and Mayor Adams is trying
to figure out what side of woke he's going to
be on in this election. Joining us now the author
of Super Moms Activated, Jaqueline Toberoff, and the founder and
host of Loud Majority Live.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
One of my very favorite New Yorkers of all time.

Speaker 1 (31:37):
Kevin Smith. So Jackie, I'll start with you. Do we
see an opportunity here in New York for some sort
of anti zor un ballast or are you all preparing
to use currency as toilet paper?

Speaker 11 (31:50):
Look, there's always hope.

Speaker 7 (31:52):
Right.

Speaker 11 (31:53):
We see every day how things are getting worse and worse,
and how pretty much there was a referendum on November fifth,
right every single neighborhood in New York City moved right
for Trump. We will now see. The real issue is
forty percent four zero percent of New York City is immigrant.
That's over three million people here out of eight million

(32:14):
are immigrant. And it's We're going to see what happens.
I mean, I'm not super hopeful.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
So, Kevin, you have said, if there is any opportunity here,
maybe there is some Eric Adams coalition. And to nurture
that coalition, Eric Adams decided to announce a sixty three
million dollar taxpayer funded shelter for the transgendered homeless.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
Is this man still your standard bearer?

Speaker 12 (32:41):
Look? I don't like him, but I think that he
is the person that everyone can take their medicine and
get behind. Republicans won't vote for Cuomo after the nursing
home scandal, and Democrats won't vote for Sliwa because there's
an ur next to his name. And I think that
Adams is the least bad of all the choices as
far as a transgender homeless shelter. I don't even know
what that means, because if anyone can claim to be transgender,

(33:05):
then you can just walk in and say you are,
which means it's not really gender specific. So it's really
just a homeless shelter with a stupid sign on top
of it. I guess.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
I guess, like, if you can become instantly homeless, can
you become instantly transgendered? Like I just wonder at Eric
Adams conceived transgender homeless shelter, like how in to the
persona you have to be? But I did want to
ask you, Jackie, when we look at this display of

(33:35):
Mandami's policy choices, what are you noticing that gets people
most willing to unify in opposition to it? Is it
the taxpayer funded grocery stores? Is it the immigration policies?
Is it just the redistribution of wealth? What is the
touchstone of the way to get at this guy?

Speaker 13 (33:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (33:54):
First, I agree with all of those things, but I
think it always goes back to you again that New
York City is now forty percent immigrant, and quite frankly,
they really don't care if the tax base flees. They
don't care if the NYPD is abolished. They don't care
about any of this because they have been instructed to
break every single rule and they are getting things for free.

(34:14):
I think right now something that is really driving parents
crazy is it was just announced that he's going to
go after charter schools. Guess what, Ninety percent of the
children in charter schools are black and Hispanic. Are they
going to sacrifice.

Speaker 7 (34:28):
Their kids for Zooran? I hope not.

Speaker 11 (34:31):
But you know, his base is largely Muslims and white
liberal college women. So we are in a pickle because
Emily Radazowski's kids probably aren't going to a charter school.

Speaker 1 (34:43):
Kevin, When we look at the big players in Democrat
politics in New York, what are you catching from them?
You've got some of the biggest players in the whole
Democratic Party in Hakim Jeffreys, Chuck Schumer, AOC. Are they
trending toward in a real material support kind of way.

Speaker 12 (35:03):
Look, if they haven't done it by now, when they
eventually endorse him, it's gonna look like they did it
because they had to. It's gonna look like they did
it because they were facing a primary from their left.
We're seeing Richie Torres, who may be facing a primary
in twenty six, staying as far away from Zorheimandani as
possible because he's planning on primary and Kathy Hokeel from

(35:26):
her left. So watch, I'm going to sit back and
watch the Democrats fall all over themselves to not endorse
this guy until it's too late and they have to,
at which point it won't matter anyway. I think Schumer
faces a primary from AOC the next couple of years
is gonna be wild in the Big Apple.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
Well, who would win that? Jackie?

Speaker 1 (35:48):
Who do you have in Schumer versus AOC in an
upcoming Democrat primary in the Empire State.

Speaker 11 (35:54):
I mean, Schumer is Look, he's like a Pelosi, right
he is. He is astute, He is hanging on with
everything that he has. AOC looks like she is imploding.
I think she's peaked.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
Real Wow, a hot take only the New York Pannel.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
Can you give me the absolute hottest takes on the
Matt Gates Show, Kevin Smith, Jackie Toberoff, thank you both

Thank you for having us and coming up.

Speaker 1 (36:20):

Speaker 1 (38:51):
John Brennan, he was Obama CIA director and he's under
criminal investigation now for his role in the Russia hoax.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
Before the twenty sixteen.

Speaker 1 (38:59):
Election, Hillary cli Camp contrived of an attack on Trump
based on the fiction that he was a Russian agent.
It didn't work. Trump won anyway. Obama then convened a
December nine meeting in the Oval Office where he directed
Brennan and other senior intel officials to construct an intelligence
committee assessment regarding Russia and the election. The order was clear,

(39:19):
even though Trump was the choice of the American voters,
he could still be hobbled by a phony investigation over Russia.
Brennan used the fake Steele dossier, assembled by a foreign
spy and sourced to Russian intel to effectuate the attempted coup.
According to recent RAS MUSCIN reporting and polling, sixty nine
percent of Americans agree that the Russia hoax requires accountability.

(39:42):
Ian Trodier has written High Stakes Treason, How John Brennan
compromised American security for millions. It details a selfish greed
in John Brennan that illuminates how he could have been
motivated to betray America. He's also the host of Discussions
of Truth. He joins me now, Ian Trodier, So, Ian, I,
I'm dying to get your reaction to all the documents

(40:02):
that we've had come out recently about John Brennan. But
in your book you lay out a path of greed
and graft that says a lot about the man.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
What would what will people learn in your piece?

Speaker 14 (40:14):
Yeah, Matt, what people are going to find out when
they read High Stakes Treason is that this man was
simply an enemy to our constitutional republic. It's quite frankly
it's repulsive and disgusting what this man did to America
over the course of about well his career. Really we're

(40:38):
focused between the years of two thousand and nine and
twenty thirteen in the book, Matt, but he schemed for
many years prior to that, I believe, and he's what's
what I would refer to as a penetration agent. This
is a communist infiltrator. Of course he's an American by birth.

(40:59):
But this person, uh, this person worked very hard over
many years to uh, to infiltrate our system and destroy
and and the real unfortunate thing here, Matt, is that
he's done it for selfish, greedy purposes, for money, and
it's happened at the lot at the at the costume

(41:19):
you think he's mad Ian?

Speaker 1 (41:20):
How much do you think that, uh you know, do
you allege that mister Brennan has gotten an ill gotten gains?

Speaker 8 (41:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 14 (41:26):
So what we what we what I calculate through SEC
documents and false official statements is just shy of five
million dollars is what he's made off of the analysis
corporation stocks. So that's that answers that question, Matt, is
that in that particular stockholding Uh, which was a government
contractor he made just under five million dollars.

Speaker 1 (41:48):
Yeah, I'm sure he would attest to some utility he
provided for that.

Speaker 2 (41:52):
But what do you you know?

Speaker 1 (41:53):
You cover this really important time in Brennan's life that
leads right up to his participate patient in the Russia hoax.
And so what personality treats, what dealings was he involved
in in those years that might show us why he
was willing to take this order from Obama to really
undermine American democracy.

Speaker 14 (42:13):
Yeah, if we go back in the timeline of John Brennan,
he's educated for him, he spent years in Indonesia, you
spent some time in Saudi Arabia. Just to sidetrack real quick,
is that you know he was chief of staff for
George Tenant when nine to eleven the attacks hit. And
what what what I'm hoping to find out here, Matt,

(42:34):
is that is that George Tenant will also be brought
in through some mishandlings of nine to eleven.

Speaker 2 (42:39):
But but it looks like.

Speaker 14 (42:41):
Again to use that word penetration agent philosophically, he was
probably groomed. Uh, he was probably groomed by the globalist agenda, right,
the kind of the deep state, hidden government strings along
with these kind of Obama people to uh to implement
uh these uh these these these encroachments on our constitutional rights.

(43:05):
And one of the things that I get at Matt
and and and I spoke to uh Steve Bannett about
this last week is is is is the deep state agenda?

Speaker 3 (43:16):
Right?

Speaker 14 (43:16):
So, not to get too far out of here, but
we know there's certainly false flag events going on, and
kind of the drive behind that is to take away
our Second Amendment.

Speaker 7 (43:26):
Uh.

Speaker 14 (43:26):
We saw it happen under Miles se Tongue in China, right,
he took away uh private ownership of of of guns.
In my personal opinion, that's kind of one of the
underlaying issues going on here. Matt is systematically and it
takes you know, it doesn't happen overnight. This takes decades
to do that. So if you put a pawn in place,

(43:47):
like a Brandon, like an Obama, like a Clapper, that
can kind of drive home that agenda. That's kind of
really what's happening here is that is that that type
of freedom is being eroded. And I think Brennan was
put into place likely because he was grabbing on to
those types of socialist philosophies politically.

Speaker 2 (44:10):
And who helped him along the way do all of this?

Speaker 14 (44:14):
Yeah, so certainly to use that word tenant, that's another
that's that's a that's a great kind of person to
say he was, he was a protege of of that person.
But that's also a really good question. Those aren't things
that I've really looked into in this particular book.

Speaker 1 (44:34):
Well we know, yeah, we know Obama helped him with
the order to go and make this move on Trump.
Now that you've studied so much of Brennan's life and
you've seen these revelations from director Gabbard and director Ratcliffe,
what is your reaction to Brennan's participation in assembling the
Steele dossier and the George Papatopolis nonsense into this surveillance

(44:59):
operation and really this coup operation.

Speaker 14 (45:02):
Yeah, it's it's a definitely, it's a It's an attempt
for Kudeta, There's no doubt about it, Matt. And what
we're looking at the tie into the Russian collusion here
is is Obama likely tabbed Brennan as his intelligence person, right,
I mean, this was this was the person that had
served as the advisor under the Homeland Security That's when

(45:24):
we that's what we talk about in the book, where
these these three terror attacks happened in Congress. So every time,
every time there was a terror attack, it benefited Brennan
because his stock value increased. But likely tying into the
Russian hoax, and it looks like you've got their December ninth,
twenty sixteen. I've actually submitted a foya Matt with the

(45:49):
Joint Chiefs because there is a there should be an
audio recording of that meeting that took place in the
White House where this collusion happened. So I haven't received
a response, uh from my request, but I'd like to
get a hold of that tape because it would be
it would be recorded, and it's probably on a skiff,

(46:12):
so that would show what happened. My guess, Matt is Obama,
who had given Brennan an ethics waiver for that financial
interest that he had had with attack. He likely held
that over Brennan's head and that would have pigeonholed him,
if you will, into orchestrating the Russian Russian collusion UH

(46:36):
and producing that Stele dossier UH.

Speaker 9 (46:38):
In the in the in the book.

Speaker 14 (46:41):
Roger Stone has written the forward to that, Matt and
and that's that Also is something that that mister Stone
agrees probably happened, is that Brennan orchestrated.

Speaker 1 (46:52):
That if you and Roger get a hold of the
of the Obama tapes ordering the Coup of the Russia hoax,
you are welcome to come on our program and play
them anytime. Ian Trot a great book, High Stakes Trees
and How John Brennan compromised American security for millions.

Speaker 2 (47:07):
It is a great lead.

Speaker 1 (47:08):
Up to the moments that almost toppled American democracy. Thanks
for joining us on the program and coming up, We've
got an interesting murder verdict in regarding a Major League
baseball player. I'll tell you what led this lefty with
a killer curveball to actually killing his in laws after

Speaker 1 (49:45):
One of the projects we're really proud of here at
One American News is the Anchorman podcast. I host it
half the time, and my good friend and colleague Dan
Ball also takes the baton now and then, and we
recently had the opportunity to have on my program Glenn Greenwald.
He is a prominent thinker in the national security space.
He's a former liberal who founded the Intercept, but increasingly

(50:06):
has become interested in America first foreign policy and how
that's living out in the Trump administration. It was a
fascinating one hour discussion that you can find wherever you
get your podcasts. Search for Anchorman Matt Gates One America
News and you'll get to hear the whole thing. But
here is a quick clip that I wanted to share
with you tonight.

Speaker 13 (50:25):
There's no question that the Trump administration in its current
iteration two point zero is very different in a lot
of ways than the first iteration. One of the big
problems with the first administration was that so many people
had infiltrated it, had contaminated it. Who pretended to be
on board with the America First ideology, but in fact
we're swret enemies to it, and we're really there to

(50:46):
undermine and subvert everything he was doing. And they were
determined not to let that happen again. And they clearly
came in prepared to ensure that Trump is the leader
of the administration, he gives the orders and people carry
it out. They selected people who were willing to do that.

Speaker 1 (51:00):
Israel is now saying they want to occupy Gaza, which
is the most predictable thing after the way they have
waged this war. But is it wrong, Glenn, that there's
a part of me that's like, you know what, you
guys want to go be an occupying force, take the
baton and freaking run with it. If Israel wants to
go the neighborhood Crime Watch of Gaza City like the

(51:22):
block Captain of Gaza, won't they kind of get their
punishment just from the nature of that experience.

Speaker 13 (51:30):
I would look at it differently, perhaps if it weren't
for the fact that the United States government and therefore
American workers and American tax players are going to pay
for the whole thing of this new plan to go
and occupy Gaza. And it's really not a new plan.
If you listen to Israeli leaders from the start after
October seventh, they the hostages and dismantling Hamasis were pretexts.
That's their WMD. They're nine to eleven attack. The real

(51:51):
goal that they always had was they want They a
lot of them believe in in the idea that Gaza
in the West Bank.

Speaker 2 (51:57):
Belong to Israel.

Speaker 13 (51:58):
They have demonstrated that they have no regard for life
of the people in Gaza. They don't see Gosins or
Palestinians more broadly as human. The number of death and
the starvation has demonstrated that. And obviously if they go
in and occupy, it's going to entail massive amounts of
more death. They're going to just be killing randomly because
they are going to be in danger IDF soldiers. If

(52:18):
you have growing sentiment that I wouldn't even call it
anti Israel, I would call it more like opposed to
the idea that we're supposed to be tied at the
hip to this foreign country. But what we're seeing now
is a full frontal assault on free speech in defense
of Israel. Russia Gate really is and was religion to
the corporate media and to liberal America. They were so
unified in their hatred of Trump, they were absolutely determined

(52:41):
to have this be the thing that destroys him. And
no evidence is needed by any of these so called journalists.
When journalistic skepticism of the CIA in the FBI is
as foundational to being a journalist as you can possibly get,
they had none of it. And to go to war
against Russia, which is basically what we're doing in Ukraine,
is incredibly dangerous. But I absolutely believe that one of

(53:01):
the main reasons the public got on board to do
it was because this endless propaganda about Vladimir Putin and
Russia GAD and him taking over our democracy, and a
lot of Republicans believe that as well.

Speaker 2 (53:14):
That's the Anchorman podcast.

Speaker 1 (53:15):
You'll get in depth discussion, analysis, opinion, and it's a
lot of fun. We enjoy doing it. Our producer Vishborough
joins me often. So make sure you sign up and
subscribe so that you can be a part of that
broader conversation and it'll make you the smartest person in
your family and friend group, we actually guarantee that before
we go tonight, I'm going to tell you about a
former Major League baseball pitcher named Daniel Sarafani. Now this

(53:39):
is a man who had it all and still tried
to shoot his way into having a little more. It's
a cautionary tale, the type that reminds you it's not
what you have, it's what you think you're owede that
will rot you out from the inside. Daniel sarah Finni
was no slouch. A first round Major League draft pick,
a lefty with a nasty curveball. He made fourteen million

(54:01):
dollars playing a game. Playing baseball. He married a beautiful
woman who, by all accounts, would have followed him to
Hell if not Reno.

Speaker 2 (54:10):
She gave him children.

Speaker 1 (54:12):
She gave him freedom, and I mean real freedom, the
kind of open marriage. Freedom that includes liaisons with the
babysitter without judgment.

Speaker 2 (54:20):
Just a request not to embarrass her.

Speaker 1 (54:22):
The wife stuck by him, the babysitter became the mistress.
The in laws bought a three point five million dollar
home on Lake Tahoe to be close to the grandkids.
Most guys would write a Thanksgiving card, but Daniel wrote
a murder plan because it turns out Daniel didn't like
the terms and conditions of being bailed out by said

(54:43):
in laws. His in laws were bankrolling his lifestyle. Their
lake house was their idea, but they wanted a little
something in return for the financial large ass that they
provided Daniel and their daughter. They just wanted him to
act like a good guy. They would want to use
what they had to support him to get better behavior
out of him. They didn't want him to act like

(55:04):
an unemployed has been baseball player, dragging their grandchildren and
their daughter through misery. So Daniel did what any narcissist
with a grudge and a delusion and criminal behavior might do.
He laid in wait, masked and armed inside their Lake
Tahoe home. He murdered his father in law with a

(55:24):
gunshot wound at the chest. He shot his mother in
law twice in the head. She survived and later passed.
What remains wild to me about the Serafini story is
that the babysitter lover drove him to commit the murder,
sat for five hours in the car while he did. Then,
