Awkward relationship moments, surprising dog facts, and a taste of the Old West come together in this engaging episode of Morning Brew. When a listener's boyfriend has an embarrassing nighttime accident and mysteriously disappears afterward, our relationship expert Paul from Beaumont steps in with practical advice gleaned from years of experience (and a few personal mishaps of his own). The solution? A little compassion goes a long way when someone's feeling vulnerable.

The laughs continue as Chris challenges our guest to a round of dog trivia in honor of National Mutt Day. From America's favorite breed to the world's smallest pup, test your canine knowledge alongside our contestants. You might be surprised to learn which breed holds the title of fastest dog or which unique canine is known as "the barkless dog."

Sharon's shower thoughts segment delivers those perfect "aha" moments that make you see everyday life differently. Why do we find it normal to eat different meals at home but weird to order the same dish at restaurants? Would an alien invasion really unite humanity? These bite-sized philosophical nuggets provide just the right amount of mental stimulation to complement the show's humor.

The episode wraps with an exciting preview of the 11th Annual Pinedale Chuckwagon Festival, where authentic pioneer cooking takes center stage. Brian from Pinedale shares all the details about this unique culinary experience featuring Dutch oven cooking, period-appropriate recipes, and a chance to taste history. With meal tickets at just $20 and proceeds from the accompanying pie sale benefiting local organizations, this community event promises food, fun, and a glimpse into America's pioneer past.

From the Horn Auto Center Studios Chris Bennett and
the Morning Brew.
It is Thursday, so it's timefor Relationship Advice.
Janine is out until next week,so we have Paul from Beaumont
filling in.
What makes you qualified forRelationship Advice?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Hey man, I've been married to Ryan for a long long
time, Thank you.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Okay, there we go, that's it All.
Right, that's it.
He has a lot of years under hisbelt.
Here we go.
I, 26-year-old female, woke upin the middle of the night to
the unmistakable sound ofsomeone peeing in my bed.
My boyfriend, 22, who I've beendating a year, had clearly had

(00:44):
an accident.
I laughed it off at first, honestly in shock, and told him
to grab a towel.
He was super quiet, obviouslyembarrassed, and mumbled
something before walking out tosleep on the couch.
I followed him confused andasked what was going on.
Then, when things got weird, hestarted packing his staff up,
ranting, still mumbling, andleft and before walking out he

(01:06):
said something like you peoplehave everything but wouldn't
explain.
I'm now sitting here scrubbingthe mattress with vinegar,
wondering did I do somethingwrong?
Was I too harsh to say get atowel, or was he sleepwalking?
What advice would you give thisyoung lady?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Yeah, it sounds like he was sleeping.
It doesn't sound like he wastoo hard, sean, your mom would
find you peed in bed, but itsounds like he could have been
sleepwalking.
Yeah, I peed on my grandma's.
I peed on my grandma's hutchone night like that.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
When you were sleepwalking.
How old were you?

Speaker 2 (01:43):
I don't know 15 or so .
And what did your grandma do toyou?
One of my great-grandmas wasjust like what are you doing?

Speaker 1 (02:00):
I mean, that was pretty much it.
Yeah, I have a similar storylike that, but it happened a
little bit more recent thanyours, Paul.
So what's your advice to thislady?

Speaker 2 (02:15):
For real guys.
Just let him get sleep.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
So she should probably call him, reach out to
him if he hasn't come home, andbe like hey, I just want to let
you know it's not a big deal andI think you might be
sleepwalking, let's talk aboutit, right, but it's no, big deal
.
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Yeah, yeah, perfect, as long as it's not crying, yeah
.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Yeah, but she needs to definitely reach out and let
him know that it's okay, reassure him and maybe put some
plastic under the bed, right?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Yeah, I would just give him a pack of the beer.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
All right, that was relationship advice with a
relationship advice guest todayPaul from Beaumont.
It is now time for Are youSmarter Than a Redneck?
And, paul, today is NationalMutt Day.
You have a Shih Tzu, right?
Yeah, he ain't no mutt.
He ain't no mutt, he's purebredbaby Gilbert and he's daddy's

(03:17):
little boy, right.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Yeah, he rings the bell when he's talking a lot of
stuff.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
He rings the bell.
That's what my dog does too.
All right, we're going to dosome dog trivia.
These are not multiple choice.
First one to three wins.

different entrees.
But when you eat at arestaurant with your partner,
it's weird to eat the sameentree.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
That's a good point.
That's a good point.
I think we eat a lot of thedifferent entrees because we do
a lot of scrounging at home, butthat is a very good thought.
What's the next one?

All right, last one.

Speaker 3 (06:12):

others using speaker phones inpublic if they used it as a
volume of normal conversation.
