Today I am very excited because we are going to be reading about the spiritual battle we face as Christians as well as how to defend yourself and fight back against the enemy with the armor of God.
I love learning about the Armor of God, so much so that I am currently working on writing a children's book series that is in part inspired by the armor.
This year in particular with writing these books and with things happening in my personal life, I have felt like God has put it on my heart to not just study the armor of God but to learn how to use it and train with each piece of armor.
I am going to try and keep this not too long as it is a topic I really love and have been studying. I want to keep to the point as well as finish up the Ephesians Bible study with you!
This truly has been such a blessing in my life to read the Bible each week with you. I am so excited to see what all happens next! God has been so good and has done so much with this podcast. I am so grateful!

Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

This is our armor. This is what we need to put on to withstand evil and stand firm.
