Hello friend and welcome to the Other World Podcast! We are currently doing a Bible study on the book of Ephesians. Today we are going to be reading through Ephesians chapter 4:1-16. There are so many good things in this chapter and as such we are going to be reading half today and the last half next week!
We want to be mature Christian’s. To learn and grow up in our faith. To dig deeper into God’s word and to no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.
We want to be grounded and mature in our faith so that we are not deceived by the world, by false teaching, by false teaching even in the church by pastors. We are warned of this in scripture. Jesus himself tell us in Matthew 7:15 to…
”Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.”
How we don’t get deceived is by knowing the Word of God and being grounded and mature in our faith. How do we grow in our faith? How can we become steady and grounded in our faith? It is by READING THE BIBLE!
I challenge you for the next month to read the Bible everyday! Dig deep into God’s Word. Know what He says. Know His character and what He thinks. I challenge you to get to know God.
