Hello friend and welcome to the Other World Podcast! Today we are going to be reading through Ephesians chapter 6:1-9!
We are going to be talking about children & parents and servants & masters. This is another episode on biblical roles and submissions like our previous episode on marriage.
As Christians we need to be willing to follow Jesus above all others. To follow Jesus even if it is hard. To follow Jesus even if our family and friends reject us. We need to follow Jesus FIRST.
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
—Colossians 3:23-24
Above all others we serve God. When we serve our earthly masters (as well as our parents) we do it as unto God.
