Hello friend and welcome to the Other World Podcast! Today we are going to be reading through Ephesians chapter 5:22-33!
We are going to be talking about what it looks like to have a godly god honoring marriage. We are going to be reading how God wants us to act towards each other in marriage and how marriage is set up.
I think this is so important for all of us to know. If you are married then this is important for you to know this and walk in this currently.
If you are not married then this is still important for you if you desire to be married and this is a dream and prayer of yours. This is going to be good for you to know to start working on the things we are called to do right now and using this time of singleness to prepare yourself for marriage and to be ready and secure in the Lord and what He is calling you to.
This can apply to all of us. If you are married this applies to you RIGHT NOW. If you are single this applies to you in the FUTURE if marriage is your desire. If you are someone who believes they are called into a life of singleness then there are still things that can apply to you—even just how to have your life be a reflection of Jesus and His love for us because that is simply what marriage is.
Yes there is more to marriage and can be complex but the simple truth of marriage, how God designed it, is an example to us of God’s love for us and of Christ and the church.
So let’s read what the Bible says!
