Speaker 1 (00:02):
Yeah, that's the big dog Haun and Leve again. Everybody.
Welcome to another episode of the Philly Pulseer City Sports Beat.
I mean know, Joe stay Jack, along with my co
host Michael Warren, Isabelle out McGarvey, and of course Sean Loca,
the very verbos one that usually his lips are flapping
but doesn't say much.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
What you said? He got close enough?

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Yeah enough, come on, so welcome for another episode. Of course,
we introduced Easy last week. Great job, and she's back
for week number two. Let's get right into it. Sean,
you mentioned nine more Sundays until Eagles football. Of course
they start on a Thursday night this year sixty five
days away, playing the Cowboys division rival. There hasn't been

(00:53):
a back to back division winner in the NFC since
two thousand and five.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Does that change this year? Anybody?

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Commander's coming on. Oftentimes a team that really they their
their delta last year from the previous year I think
was like ten games twelve game wins. Usually that comes
back maybe towards the mean a little bit, but I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
I wouldn't bet against Jadan Daniels, but.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
Cowboys better possibility of it happening again this year. But
I think with you, yeah, I mean I think the Eagles.
Eagles have a solid chance of repeating.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Is No, that's what I Yeah, I agree with yeah,
but I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
History shows that it doesn't happen, so I wouldn't bet
on it.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
But even with you, wouldn't you wouldn't bet this year
that they're going to repeat and break that that streak.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
No Joe, because I think this year, I'm just kind
of going in with the if it's going to happen,
if a repeat's going to happen, I just want to
enjoy it from day one all the way through the
very end. I want I just want to see it happen.
I don't want to have to stress around. I say
that now, but you know.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
After all, you're going to stress or you're not going
to stress. But either way, it's gonna happen. But I'm
not talking about repeating whinning the superw I'm just talking
about repeating whinning the division. That's comment to me. I'm
completely confident they're going to win the division.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
I kind of am too. I think they're that much
better than everybody else.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Sorry, is he?

Speaker 5 (02:18):
I do think Dallas is going to be better. I
wouldn't be surprised if Dallas finishes ahead of Washington. Like
you said, stay exactly, you have that that one blip
on the radar where you're getting good and everyone now
you're hyped up a little more. Maybe you're more of
a target and it's gonna be a rough schedule for them.
And here's the other thing. This has not much to

(02:39):
do with anything, but that's what I'm here for. You know,
Jade and Daniel's mother is very protective of him and dating. Yes,
I haven't seen the video, but apparently there's a wedding
video where he was just like dancing with someone at
a wedding and his mom is standing like right behind him.
Is that a little bit much?

Speaker 3 (02:57):
It's Jad and Daniels really mean.

Speaker 5 (03:00):
You are an adult? Was he twenty three years old?
I mean.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Jade and Daniels, Hey mom, I'm Jade Daniels.

Speaker 5 (03:05):
I appreciate airing on the side of professionalism and focus,
but I mean something like snap, what do you just
keep him in the room up? It's a wedding.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Target rich environment with all the bridesmaids.

Speaker 6 (03:21):
Twenty one is almost twenty one. Like if that if
I saw a guy and his mom with that.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
No, not into that, but he's not even necessarily trying
to get with this, Yeah exactly.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
He's Jade and Daniels though, is that change anything? And
what do you think of the guy? You think like
he's a mama's boy or he's softer, he's like, uh, yes,
we need you to his mom. Even if it's like
Jade Daniels or Tua or Brian Greasie, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (03:51):
Dak Dak is like, I think that whole thing is
just kind of weird in general. I mean, I get it, yells,
but at some point it's like maybe let's not.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
All right because you are okay, fair enough, but because
you are in that age group, superstar NFL quarterback.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Not that that matters anything to you personally.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
I get it, but it is a celebrity, Like there's
a draw there. It's better than me in college who
was like getting high and playing guitar. I mean, that's
not like you can get a bodyguard.

Speaker 6 (04:23):
Then you don't mean your mom did that?

Speaker 8 (04:26):
You His mom's going to hire a chaperone, you know,
damn right, Well, she'll still be right there with him,
and you see, like go back to mic, like a celebrity.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Is that more attractive?

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Is that more?

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Is there bullseye on his head?

Speaker 7 (04:45):
I mean, I'm not a person that's like into celebrities, Like.
I don't have like a I don't really get starstruck
like and it's cool. I've been around some athletes before,
but I can one hundred percent say like other girls
might that would be like the fair thing. So I
guess in some ways his mom can be valid for

(05:07):
looking out for him.

Speaker 6 (05:08):
I just think it's maybe a little bit much.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Do you think.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
I just did I won twelve games and went to
the NFC title game?

Speaker 4 (05:15):
Really, do you think she sparks sparks it up a
little bit more because of the attention that she's getting.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
I think so, I probably. Yeah, it probably comes like
she wants to become like a thing.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Maybe And you never know.

Speaker 5 (05:27):
And I have no problem airing on the side of
you know, caution, But that's gonna have.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
To what is he twenty three twenty four?

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Sure he must have made a really bad decision.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Yeah, you know what, that's a good point. Did you
do something to warrant this?

Speaker 5 (05:42):
It's not like when you when you go to any
restaurant and there's some weird rule on the wall, and
you're like, what that it's because it happened, It's there
for a reason.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
That rule is there.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Absolutely someone do something completely ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
So I'll have to keep monitor the monitor. We'll put
that right up there with the w NBA.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Okay trade In the NFL, they pretty big trade. Jalen
Ramsey got traded for Mickan Fitzpatrick and a few other
guys got thrown in the mix Steelers and Dolphins. Steelers
seem to going all in. They kind of do things randomly.

(06:24):
I don't know if there's any rhyme or reason. Like
they picked up a guy who's a little He's not
as buttoned up as Mica. I think I like MICA's
attitude a little bit better, but I both probably passed
their prime. Jalen rams a little bit of a wild card,
and they had to pay him more for that swap.
And they're already number one in the league in their

(06:45):
defensive payroll and their last in the league and their
offensive payroll. And that shows why does Pittsburgh do things
the way they do? You do you think? I know
They've always been known, you know, since the steel curtain
and blah blah blah. They still haven't paid t J. Watt,
they still haven't given him a contray. He's gonna be
the highest praid player in football soon.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
The Steelers in general are just.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
A well run quarterbacks in their division Lamar Joe, Burrow.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Chase and Higgins.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
You know, there's wide receivers that need to be addressed
in that, but in general, Pittsburgh just does things the
right way. So speaking of Minka Fitzpatrick, that's when I
was so shocked. In his second year, after being a
Dolphins first round pick in twenty eighteen, the Dolphins traded him,
and it's like, you hit on the first round pick,
why are you trading a year after that. That's what
you do with Trent Richardson, not with Mega Fitzpatrick. And

(07:37):
the fact that the Steelers gave up a first round pick.
They do not do not trade first round picks. You
find me an instance, just think of something off the
top of your head when they traded a first round pick.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
They don't do it. So that's when I was like,
oh my god, this guy must be really good. They
don't do that.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
And meanwhile, the Dolphins are now trading for him back
like you already had him, right.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
It's kind of it's kind of like, okay, well we
messed up.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
So in terms of payroll, Minka is about fifteen and
a half million, so that's going to the Dolphins. The
Dolphins will probably eat about five million of dead money.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
I don't know. Ramsey might be replacing him at safety,
which you just spent more to get him.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
How your pre show you got Joey Porter and the
other cornerback.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
The Barry as Slagh from the spot.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Does he have another thing left in the tank?

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Who Sleigh?

Speaker 3 (08:25):
I thought Row well last.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Year except for the Atlanta game after Sakuan dropped the ball,
But other than that, like I didn't. I didn't think
he was really worth the hype previously.

Speaker 5 (08:37):
I thought he had a good year last year last
I think, but I think I think it was time
to move on.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
That's fine.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
He's probably gonna play outside with Joey Porter and Ramsey
will play inside.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
But you mentioned other players in the deal. That wasn't
a throw in.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
Knu Smith had a year last year. Yeah, and I've
written about it so much. I don't I don't just
randomly remin this stuff. I've just written about it probably
ten times to day alone. He caught eighty eight balls
last year for eight hundred and eighty four yards and
eight touchdowns, and a lot of that was in the
second half. He made the Pro Bowl, which no one
really cares about. I mean, it's the Pro Bowl. Yeah,

(09:14):
how many guys didn't show up?

Speaker 3 (09:16):
He's going to Pittsburgh, right, He's in.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
The deal.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
Was already there.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
They're going to use both of them.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
They've been They've been talking about trading John Who for
a while and he became this people look at it
that throw and I was like, no, they've been trying
to get him for a while. And now the Dolphins
just traded for Darren Waller from the New York Giants,
who had a retired retirement list.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
He's had some big years in.

Speaker 5 (09:40):
The past, but I'm not I wouldn't hold my breath
and the rest of the Dolphins tight ends like I'll
give you five bucks for each one you can guess.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
I can't. And I just wrote about him fifteen minutes ago.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
So Joe, you're asking about Sleigh if he still has
anything left in the tank. Yeah, does Jalen Ramsey still
have anything left in the tik Oh.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
No, think he's a little on that.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
On the downside, yes, he's a little bit.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
It was a little shocked that they gave up on
Nika Fitzpatrick.

Speaker 5 (10:11):
You know he's on the decline. Yeah, he's on a
little bit of the decline. Ramsey, I don't think it's
been elite in years.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
I think I knew too, and that's why, like he
went to the ram you remember the I only got
burned twice.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
He gets burned a lot.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
No shame with the Bengals receivers. But James Harrison, who
I think, you know, undrafted, but just you don't want
to mess.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
With James Townen.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
I wouldn't want to not want to mess with James Harrison.
But he came out to the best thing about Mike
Tomlin he's a players coach and the worst thing about
Mike Tomlin this week. He's a players coach, like and
a lot of guys need more structure and they get
a little soft.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
He gets a little soft.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
You agree with that, and I think I think, I
personally think they're not going to go anywhere this year.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
I think they'll be a little better than Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
But they didn't replace George Pickens and whatnot, But I
think this might be his last year.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
What are your thoughts on Mike Tomlin in the end
of the road.

Speaker 5 (11:07):
I think Steelers a lot of Steelers fans wating for
him to go. But since was it nineteen sixty nine,
they've had four head coaches three which is crazy?

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Is that unbelievable?

Speaker 3 (11:18):
Nol, Coward and Tomlin.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
Why I got to see all four of them, which
is crerazy to me.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
So they don't they don't make those moves lightly.

Speaker 5 (11:28):
But I think a lot of people feel in Pittsburgh
that he plays down to the level of competition too often.
That's the feeling I always got from Steelers fans. I mean,
if it's time to go. Look, the Eagles got rid
of a Hall of Fame head coach and no one
in Philly said a word because it was just time
for everybody to try something different.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
But at that time, no, come on, Joe, you knew
he would be. You can't tell me you didn't know what.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
I didn't think he like three Super Bowls.

Speaker 9 (11:55):
I thought when he was not, it was the hell
out here, you're full of ship, No show, Joe, con Medication,
Big Game.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Five, NFC championship games, and how do we define big games?

Speaker 1 (12:11):
Game a Hall of Fame head coach when he cause
and you give I give him credit for this because
he he is pretty good at putting teams together quickly.
What's a case he they were two and fourteen the
year before next year they were eleven and five when
they went up and went and they moved up with
seventeen spots. Take Patrick Mahomes. Yeah, and that's credit to him.
But that's where to me, that's when he became a whole.

Speaker 5 (12:33):
But when you say big games, this is what gets
me because for a long time it was Andy and
Andy and Donovan can't win the big one. It changes
for everybody what a big game means is he can
tell you they said that about Romo, they say it
about Dak Well, what's the big game?

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Well, for Romo was any playoff game. But the bar
is different. For Donovan and Andy, they won a lot
of big games. They won a lot of playoff games.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
Yeah, and they call him the winning his coach.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
I always called him the non losing his coach in
the history of the Philip.

Speaker 5 (12:59):
Okay, But do you think Doug Peterson was a better
head coach?

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Than Andy Reid.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
No, but he did won a super Bowl. Okay, I'll
take I'll take Doug Peterson's what three or four years
over over.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
Big he was and then as soon as he said no,
you're done.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
He wasn't a bump.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
But he had some issues at times with clock management,
getting plays in, little stubborn on the wide receivers until.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Like t O came there and that, Yeah, I believe.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
But in terms of.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
Years he did that.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
He did draft Shady in the second round. He got
Macklin in the first round, and he got to Shawn.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
So he started to look.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
He got Tyreek Hill, a fifth round pick out of
West Alabama. I mean, he does do a nice job
putting teams together and he is a nice man. I
was a little rough on Hi when he was here,
still being rough on I am because he did a
lot of stupid things.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
But he was also that was his first head coaching job.
He was never a ordinator. He was the quarterbacks coach
of the Packers when he.

Speaker 5 (14:02):
Came here, which at the time was crazy, Oh you
weren't a coordinator first.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
I was like behind beside myself.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
Do you remember.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
There was a big learning curve for him and we
watched it. Do you remember in the clock management and
I gotta do a better job.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
He came in with all the binders. This is my
plan for the team.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
Just the job very well, Yeah, very organized.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
George, do you remember the guy the first game, the
first game with any ready they played the Cardinals and that.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
Was about Brian Finneran.

Speaker 5 (14:35):
You got it and he and he cut him and
then that was right around the time of the George
Hegeman blocking sled.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
Yeah. Who was the cornerback that was covering Finneryn for
the Cardinals?

Speaker 2 (14:47):
For the Cardinals was Nias was a safety, so it
probably it was Anise Williams.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
Very nice. All right, All he's done?

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Am I ruining?

Speaker 3 (14:55):
The question came out of here?

Speaker 1 (14:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (14:57):
No, tribu.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
He's like to got Jeopardy like dang Dan dame before
the guy gets it out. I gets a question, I
get out of here. Anyway, I didn't even know where
how do we get on that subject with him?

Speaker 5 (15:10):
Because Brian Finnerman by Brian Finneran from Villanova, right, yes,
And he had a good ten year career with the Falcons.
He was an excellent number two to guys like peerless
Price Michael Jenkins.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Yeah, don't start with my Ohio states Michael Jenkins.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
Yeah, he was the first round pick.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
Yeah, don't don't start with Michael Jenkins. We have a history.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
So, by the way, the field house, it's called finner
and field House at Nova. It's not Brian Finneran, it's
somehow some stiff.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
Well they had to do a name change immediately on
that one.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
So well they did the name change way after what's
his name? Shot?

Speaker 4 (15:48):
Yes, yes, that's the show A different day.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
So Philly has a w NBA team coming up.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
What do you think of that?

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Because I know you have some issues with the w
n B A I I have an issu you with
the jealousy of her. First of all, not to not
taking her to the Olympics was ridiculous, stupid nice in
All Star voting.

Speaker 4 (16:09):
What are you?

Speaker 1 (16:11):
She's the Golden Goose?

Speaker 2 (16:14):
What's everyone? What's their problem with her?

Speaker 1 (16:16):
That?

Speaker 2 (16:16):
That that is that is a whole different tirade. I'm
so mad about it. I mean, look, but it's got
me interested.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
Just once in a while. I don't care. That's kind
of funny.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
She got the crowd all hyped up and after after
the game, she was after she had done her like,
you know, getting everybody hyped, and she said, look, we're entertainment,
so people pay to come see us.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
We're entertainment, and I want to entertain I was like,
this girl is awesome.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
She's awesome.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
He makes me want to watch last last Sunday. I
was like, hey, three o'clock, I don't want to watch me? Yeah,
I did, I'm on record. I want to watch it.

Speaker 5 (16:50):
It's got me interested because I get into Caitlin Clark
and the rivalry with the Angel Wreathes, and it's the
more I care, the angrier I get to see how
this place is run. And I just they just expanded.
Was there any other expansion teams besides Philly.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
Cleveland and Detroit?

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Three of them?

Speaker 1 (17:08):
M hm?

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Who's making the business decisions?

Speaker 5 (17:13):
They lost what fifty million a year last year with
Caitlin Clark with her, they've lost money every single year
and they're subsidized by the NBA.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
The NBA they would what is oh is it? Rob Parker,
one of the journalists, calls at the welfare NBA.

Speaker 5 (17:28):
Now, I know leagues take time to build up, and
I think people are really getting behind the w NBA now,
But why are you expanding and thinning yourself out if
you're losing money as it is, I don't see the purpose.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
I don't get it.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
Just kidding well, I like themselves. I mean, it's I
I agree with you.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
I'm kind of shocked at Philadelphia. It took Philadelphia this
long take get a team. I mean, I think, how
do you.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Think the crowd of fans will respond?

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Because I think I like, yeah, a few games I
could too, well, like it sounds cool, but Caitlyn clarkson
coming to town? Are we going to We're gonna watch
thee I.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
Will tell you this. I lived in Minnesota when the
Links were, you know, just winning championships every single year.
And I was working in Minneapolis right around the corner
from the Target Center, and they loved their women's basketball team.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
Did you got it? Again?

Speaker 4 (18:24):
I did not.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
I did not.

Speaker 4 (18:26):
The only games that I ever went to were when
the Sixers came into town.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
So, yeah, is what do you think about w n
b A. You know, you know Caitlyn Clark?

Speaker 1 (18:36):
Yes, yeah, do you watch it?

Speaker 3 (18:41):
What'd you watch it?

Speaker 5 (18:42):
Do you like her?

Speaker 3 (18:43):
I think she's great for the league.

Speaker 7 (18:46):
I think she's great for the league too. I think
it's been really cool to see how much of an
effect she's had, like on all of women's sports. I
don't know if I choose to go to a game
just in general. I'm not really into the NBA either,
but I definitely need more inclined to go to a
game if that was gonna be watching like Caitlin Clark.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
Would you go to a game with Jayden Daniels with
his mother the three of you court court side?

Speaker 4 (19:21):
Is he gets an invite from his father? You were
quarterly invited to?

Speaker 2 (19:25):
What did you just say? I don't I don't like
Junior Mints.

Speaker 6 (19:29):
I don't like chocolate and mint.

Speaker 5 (19:30):
I don't like.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
I like the ones that I don't.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
I don't get the anti chocolate thing.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (19:40):
I'm with her with the mint. I don't like finn
Mint Cookie Girl, Scott Cookies. I thought they were the best.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
They're the best ones. They're the best ones.

Speaker 7 (19:48):
The best ones are smells are good? What are they
the one with the coconut and coconut?

Speaker 2 (19:57):
Wait?

Speaker 5 (19:57):
Wait, wait, I sit here and complain about Junior Min's
and tell me you like coconut bas No, you were
you were on a tirade about junior mins.

Speaker 4 (20:07):
This is all coming from a man that was like
snow caps, give them to me.

Speaker 5 (20:11):
I love snow caps. That's the reason you go to
the movies. And some theaters don't have them, and I
think they should be shut down.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
Snow caps.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
I know when did thee?

Speaker 1 (20:24):
What was it?

Speaker 5 (20:25):
Twenty twelve? The Amy Schumer train wreck movie came out?

Speaker 3 (20:29):
Which one, the one where she was a cheerleader?

Speaker 5 (20:31):
No train Yeah, but the Lebron James one. We my
wife and I never went to the movies, but we
went to see that. Two tickets and two bags of
popcorn fifty dollars.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
Oh please?

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Oh I'll stay home and watch on TV.

Speaker 4 (20:49):
I saw I saw a meme that said, oh how
did it go? I find it so damn funny. You're
a sixty year old individual complaining about prices at the
grocery store, Yet you're going to your seventeenth concert this summer.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
So are you guys still concert people?

Speaker 4 (21:09):
Is he?

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Are you a concert? When I was your agent? Totally
like crowdsurfing.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
All of it. A huge concert guy? Not anymore?

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Is here you a concert person?

Speaker 6 (21:20):
I mean, I'm so broke, so maybe I wouldn't be money.

Speaker 4 (21:29):
Day We could sneak into places.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
No, I wouldn't do that. Maybe rule breakers would. I
wouldn't do that.

Speaker 4 (21:36):
I did.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
I paid my eighteen dollars, but I I'm Ezzy. I
had to like say that that was a big deal. Yeah,
I get a concert on myself.

Speaker 4 (21:44):
I used to sneak into Phillies games after the fifth
inning because they kept all the gates. They opened all
the gates, so I would just walk in. So you
have what would you do with it?

Speaker 3 (21:53):
For the first six innings, I was loiter around.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
I was like, what's the statute of limitations on loitering?
I mean, you're admitting this. Now they can come after you.

Speaker 4 (22:06):
So I was. I lived on tenth and Carpenter, Okay,
so that was like a subway ride. So I would
be watching the game and I would be like, you
know what, I think I'm going to go down there.
So I would just hop on the subway and walk in.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:22):
I used to go to games all the time by myself.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
I've done that.

Speaker 5 (22:24):
When I worked on Long Island, I'd have to drive
back to New Jersey every day, which is a stupid
welly would anyone do this for a crappy job? I
did but if the Phillies were in town, I'd go
to Bai Shay and just scalp a ticket for twenty bucks, which,
by the way, brings me to another topic. I missed
the actual physical ticket and then you could keep them
and you'd have like a keepsake of all your tickets.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Yeah, now everything's electronic. I don't even know if you
can scalp tickets anymore.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
I have a ticket signed by Bobby A. Bray, you
and Gavin Floyd on Gavin Floyd's first ANHL, first Major
League Baseball start.

Speaker 5 (23:03):
Okay, here's one for you. In ninety five, I came
back from college and the flow of information now is
he When I was a freshman in college, the Internet
was like new.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
It was like, oh my god, what's this Yahoo? Swear
to God, first time I ever got.

Speaker 5 (23:17):
So when I came home for Christmas break, my friend
had gotten Timberwolves sixers tickets and there were pretty good tickets.
And we look over and my friend goes, oh, look
over there, and I said what And he's like, I
think that's Kobe Bryant.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
And I said, who the fuck is Kobe Bryant?

Speaker 5 (23:32):
Because he was a high school player at the time, Like,
if you didn't there was no saw it on the internet,
heard about it.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
If you didn't live in the area, you didn't know
who he was.

Speaker 5 (23:39):
I lived in Boston, so I went and have a
nineteen ninety five Sixers ticket signed by Kobe Bryant. He
was a rookie in ninety six so the dates on it,
and he was there to talk to Garnett about going
pro out of high school.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
I found out later, No, I don't know where that
ticket is, Bro.

Speaker 5 (23:56):
I know's yeah, yeah, it's somewhere in my parents' attic.
I mean, I've got boxes of baseball cards and stuff
like that. I found my tickets and it's not in
the tickets. I could get that verified or authenticated. It's
probably worth a couple bucks. I mean, he's not signing

(24:16):
much anymore.

Speaker 6 (24:17):
So my.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Introduction to Kobe Bryant. I walk into Prism Prism, remember
prison one day, and they're like, no Internet, so you
didn't get a lot of the obscure stuff or even
the mainstream stuff. But I was a cameraman or I
could do the interview, but I was with someone who
was going to do the interview.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
I was going to shoot.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
They said, can you go cover there's a high school
basketball game. I don't think it was at Lower Marion,
but it was Donnie Carr from Roman Catholic, who I
actually had heard of. And then I got Kobe Bryant.
I'm like, like, you've heard of Kobe Ryan?

Speaker 3 (24:56):
Who has it? And I like Brian who's that.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
He's like, He's like, that's Jellybean's son, you know, Joe
Bryant's son.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
Who oh yeah, yeah, yeah, that kid, All right, go
check him out.

Speaker 1 (25:09):
So I checked out the game and Kobe like led
all scorers. Like I don't think he passed the ball
at all, but he looked. I get back there. We
did an interview with him. Oh, I think we did
two shoots with him. And we were in a class
with him, so is ESPN. But and we knew this
ahead of the time. It was a speech class. He
gets up his topic. His topic was what it's like

(25:31):
to be Kobe Bryant cam can't make it up?

Speaker 3 (25:35):
Can't make it up? Nice kid.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
Though, I get back to the They're like, what'd you
think because no one else had actually seen him play,
I'm like, looked a little little kind of and the
only reason he looked this way is because he was
so much better than anyone. It looked very graceful. But
he looked a little I won't say lazy, but not
like Donny Carry, you see, like his energy and his urgency.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
But so I was like, no, he's not going to
make it. So there's a reason I'm not a GM.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Were you the one that cut Jordan from the freshman
basketball team? Hey, you guys getting get rid of this kid? Right?

Speaker 1 (26:16):
It's a cancer?

Speaker 4 (26:17):
Ye?

Speaker 3 (26:18):
So anyway, you got to find a ticket?

Speaker 1 (26:20):
Bro?

Speaker 5 (26:21):
Yeah, yeah, about it regularly because once in a while
I get a phone call and she's like, oh my,
I guess what I found that.

Speaker 2 (26:27):
I'm like the Kobe Bryant ticket. I'm not kidding. It's
been ongoing. I want to find that ticket.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
Where do you think you lost it?

Speaker 2 (26:35):
It didn't it's in their house somewhere.

Speaker 4 (26:38):
Is it in a book? It's got to be in
a book.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
No, it would be in a random It would be loose.
It would be loose for something. I'm praying for you,
I know, I know, I don't even know. I haven't
even looked up what that might be worth because there
can't be many of them.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
I mean, if my Mike acquits the show. We know
he found the ticket.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
I found the golden ticket, is what it is. I'm
going to live with Will and with Mike, Kobe Bryant.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
My parents took me to game six when the Flowers
beat the Bruins in seventy four, win the Cup.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
I have them somewhere.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
In fact, there's a picture of them that comes up
on Facebook every anniversary of it, May nineteenth.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
So you took a picture of it for well.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
I took one when Rick McLeish died because he scored
the winning goal, and I did a little thing and
I put it on Facebook for May nineteenth.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
I can't find them now, however.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
And we were on the glass to the left of
Bernie first and third period in Hextall and feel Meir
and every other goaltender that came along. How much do
you think face value on the glass Stanley Cup winning game,
game six deep into the finals.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
How much do you think fifteen bucks?

Speaker 2 (27:49):
Fifteen too high?

Speaker 6 (27:51):
Man?

Speaker 2 (27:52):
I didn't want to see six?

Speaker 3 (27:53):
What's that?

Speaker 2 (27:55):
That's fine? Isy? You guessed that you would.

Speaker 5 (27:57):
You remember what things were like in seventy four, I
mean gas crisis, there was a lot going on.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
We're just trying to clear out of Vietnam. We all
remember where we were. Take a guess, I was in
diapers in seventy four. You weren't.

Speaker 4 (28:13):
No, I wasn't born.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
You can get a cheeseburger in the Phillies or what
is it, Harry the Cage or whatever, genoss of the
same eleven fifty eleven fifty. Wow, right, eleven fifty. It's
now like forty dollars apart for an Eagles game.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
Yes, it is.

Speaker 3 (28:31):
Right.

Speaker 5 (28:32):
In nineteen eighty five, I had gotten I think it
was Randall's first start. Front row fifty yard line, which
actually had a football game. Is not good seats because
you're here in fifteen bucks what fifteen bucks? But they
didn't have our tickets at the will call, So I
had to sit in an end zone five rows away

(28:53):
from my father, and I was like eight years old.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
Because they you know, angone, if you're down by the
field is to me better than the fifty yard line.
Like you're right there, you're on the But I guess
when you're in the middle and fifty and you're up
a little bit, like in theory, the gotta.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
Be up a little bit.

Speaker 4 (29:08):
Yeah, the best the steel is citizens Bank Park. Just
getting general mission and you can literally stand behind home
plate and just watch it. I liked standing. That was
kind of my thing. I like walking around. I don't
get a seat, I liked I there's not a bad
seat in that stadium.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
Especially somewhere.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (29:31):
So, and plus my field, the sun going down, Uncle Jean.

Speaker 4 (29:34):
Uncle Jean's a cameraman in center fields.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
Tomorrow night. Yeah, you're going tomorrow night to the funeral.

Speaker 4 (29:40):
Oh okay, all right, I got you.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
There's a game and there's a lot of those guys
who yeah, maybe he might go Thursday morning.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
Yeah, but uh yeah, no, it's always good to to
to walk around there. So I think it was a steal.
It was ten bucks for general mission. What it is
it used to be. I don't know what it is
is now, but eight it was ten dollars. I went
to a lot of games and.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
That was the place to be in a seven o
eight and like you just go in on a Friday
night and it's standing room and there's.

Speaker 5 (30:11):
It is he what's the closest baseball stadium.

Speaker 7 (30:17):
Great American? Oh wait to sorry notnin Cincinnati and Florida.

Speaker 6 (30:22):
Yeah, yeah, there was the one in Tampa.

Speaker 7 (30:27):
Got super messed up during the hurricane.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
So they're playing in a league field.

Speaker 7 (30:33):
Yeah, but they play that. Yeah, and then I guess
other than that, the Marlins and then.

Speaker 4 (30:40):
Peter baseballther You're a solid squad, right is he?

Speaker 6 (30:44):
Yeah, they've been pretty good.

Speaker 7 (30:46):
The head coach Sally Kevin and Sullivan, like he has
taken them to the postseason like every single year since
he's been here. But ever since Jack Caglione kind of left,
we haven't been.

Speaker 6 (30:57):
As good as we were.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
Well, you have a really good softball team a lot too,
don't you.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (31:05):
They went to the College Old Series and they lost
in the first round. But yeah, they've been super goods to.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
Go to a ticket at the Swamp on a Saturday, yeah, football.

Speaker 7 (31:20):
Okay, so it's expensive for students. Yeah, for students, you
can buy student tickets and that you get all the
home games together, and it's a pretty good deal. It's
like I think as this year was around two seventy
to fifty.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
Actually pretty good.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
Yeah, for all the games.

Speaker 6 (31:41):
No, it's for all the games together.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
Yeah, I got god, go ahead.

Speaker 7 (31:47):
I was just going to say I've sold tickets before,
like if I'm not going to be there and people
will pay like one hundred and thirty, one hundred and fifty.

Speaker 6 (31:55):
Like it gets up there, you.

Speaker 2 (31:56):
Go scalp them. You're that person in the parking lot.

Speaker 7 (32:04):
Tailgating for five hours before.

Speaker 3 (32:07):
What time do you get there for?

Speaker 1 (32:08):
They play a lout of noon games there or three thirty.

Speaker 7 (32:11):
Oh, thank god, not a lot of the noon games.
We actually don't have any home noon games this year.
But the tailgate start, i'd say like three and a
half fourish hours before the game starts. But then you
have the pregame like two hours before.

Speaker 6 (32:29):
It's a long time.

Speaker 4 (32:30):
Yeah, I'll never forget my first experience of college football.
I was dating a girl that was she was going
to the University of Colorado. I flew out to hang
out with her for the weekend. We went to the game.
I got student tickets. I had to borrow a friend
of her student ID that I sort of looked like,

(32:51):
got in was the time of my life. And then
came back home and I was out to dinner with
her dad and he was like, you had no idea.
I was out there and was like, Oh, she got
to experience her first college football game with a friend
of hers from school. It was so awesome. It's a
shame you weren't able to go. And I'm like, meanwhile,
it was me.

Speaker 5 (33:11):
I have a similar experience to Izzy because I went
my my ex wife went to Penn State, so I
went there once.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
I can't do it now.

Speaker 5 (33:19):
I was like twenty seven years old at the time,
but I just thought it was in the student section.
The whole town's a mess. It is so overcrowded. Bars
are all three deep. Every single bar is three deep, Like,
I just want to sit after this. And during the game,
I'm at the student section, everyone's standing. You're still standing

(33:39):
on their own bleachers, like, sit down, My.

Speaker 4 (33:42):
God, they're having fun. Jesus, they're having fun.

Speaker 5 (33:45):
What's wrong with the I'm not is there a people
like me at the games that like, hey, everybody, why
don't you just relax?

Speaker 2 (33:51):
All right? It's still the second quarter.

Speaker 4 (33:53):
You don't know how to have fun.

Speaker 7 (33:55):
I mean, so like half of the we have a
lot of students, like half of the stadium almost half
is a whole student section, and then the other side
is like we're most of the adults sit. So it's
not super like that because there's kind of a divide.
But I mean, if you're in a student section. Everyone's
going to be standing.

Speaker 6 (34:13):
It's just like it is what it is.

Speaker 5 (34:15):
That's what they told me, Like, dude, you're in the
student section.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
I was like, I don't care. Okay, this is not right. Well,
I'm just you have any idea why my wife would
divorce me. I'm like, I'm this much fun all the time.
What a witch?

Speaker 7 (34:34):
But the thing is like even and a sign like
ticket or see, like you're not going to sit there.
Everyone just sits forever and people will be like, well,
you're in my seat, and it's just like, I don't
know what to tell you.

Speaker 6 (34:44):
That was me. It was me the person.

Speaker 5 (34:50):
I had to stand up to see the game because
everyone was standing in front of me, and when I did,
the person behind me stood.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
On my seat.

Speaker 5 (34:58):
So when you're six five, I'm six three, why do
you think I'm a new bowl? So I was turned around.
I was like, dude, you're sitting in my ear. They
looked at me like I was crazy for mentioning that
you're standing on my seat.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
Yeah, that's busy.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
Is that just not college?

Speaker 6 (35:16):
It's just like you sit where you sit like.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Well that is out of control to me. That is
this is this place is out of hand.

Speaker 5 (35:25):
At Boston University, we didn't have a student section because
we didn't have a real stadium. It was like a
big high school bleachers.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
So that's what it is. He's just jealous A hundred thousand.

Speaker 5 (35:38):
The only thing we got out of BU football was
if you lived on West Campus, where I did, which
is right on Nickerson Field, which Babe Ruth played there
years ago, so we got that.

Speaker 2 (35:45):
The band had to warm up. Man, all right, is
it you tell me?

Speaker 5 (35:49):
Do college students still sleep like we used to? Cause
seven am, eight am, the band practicing outside your window
on a Saturday morning.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
I love a Martian band at seven in the morning
when you're in and M like Florida and M.

Speaker 2 (36:03):
That's that's like fun stuff. This is the BU band.
No one cares.

Speaker 4 (36:08):
I think Joe. I think Joe's voicemail actually has a
marching band in the background.

Speaker 3 (36:13):
It's very possible.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
This is Joe.

Speaker 3 (36:20):
I go out to Penn State. I got to know
the coach.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
I met the strength coach down in Miami and we
had a ring on and you know, championship ring, and
we still got to talking. Again, no internet, no punds
at texts. We became friendly that night. I sent him
a letter. So we're gonna be up there for the
Penn State game, and I a bunch of us were going.
I similarly, if you have extra tickets. I mean, I

(36:47):
was living at home and my mom yells down the
basement when it's fun for you. Somebody with a deep
Ramsby voice. He says, his name is coach Roll. Coach
are you kidding me? He's calling my house? Said I
got tickets? Where he come on up? So okay, I
mean a total NCAA violation, you know the coaches east
because we paid like triple.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
Yeah, I get there.

Speaker 1 (37:12):
He leaves. They were doing a walk through on the
field at Beaver Stadium. You get there, my car's like, hey,
give me a ticket. You know what, come here for
a second. So following walk out on the field depends, say,
of course the grass.

Speaker 3 (37:23):
They kept it this high. They slowed like Miami down.

Speaker 1 (37:25):
But does that slow like the other team down to
I never understood that, but you know what I mean.
Like anyway, he they're doing a walk through, defensive walkthrough,
and I'm like kind of I'm like, let's get out,
let's get out of here.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
Like he shouldn't be here. Everyone, you know, the players
are in there.

Speaker 1 (37:42):
They're all future millionaires, you know what I mean. Sonny
Lubeck was a defense and he goes, oh, you know,
I forgot something in the car. He just stay here
and he leaves. He leaves me. In the middle of
the defensive walkthrough, I'm right behind Darren Smith, Jesse Armstead,
and Michael Barrow, and I'm this is nineteen ninety two,
ninety two. They just beat Florida State the week before

(38:05):
here they went undefeated, but they lost to.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
Was that a Scott Bentley game Alabama?

Speaker 3 (38:10):
No, it wasn't Scott Bentley, Scott Land.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
Scott Bentley was ninety They beat Nebraska I think it
was ninety three the following year. Okay, players, they weren't
even listening to the coach, but they're looking around, and
I'm like, hey, yeah, I'll get you know, if you
get beat up, I have your backside help here, Like
the fuck.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
So they won.

Speaker 1 (38:31):
They won that day, and I don't know what happened
to him. That's like thirty years ago. It's probably dead.
But Penn State the great tickets. But yes, we had
to stand the whole time. Yeah, and I don't like
to stand the whole time.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
Sometimes people are bigger than they can't see. I like
to sit down, but they do that at Nova games,
they do that Orange Bowl.

Speaker 3 (38:52):
Have you ever been a game of the Orange Ball?

Speaker 2 (38:54):
I was a courudgeon when I was twenty one years old.

Speaker 4 (38:57):
You were look him now?

Speaker 5 (38:59):
I mean I think again, like we said before, is
he When I was your age, I would go to concerts.
I loved all the heavy stuff and rage against the
machine and tool. And now I go see tool and
I'm like, well, you guys, if you're gonna do that,
can you do that somewhere else? If you're gonna just
like be rough, I don't want to have to worry
about you rolling into my knees here. I was probably

(39:19):
young enough that I should have still been.

Speaker 1 (39:22):
You being like your parents. Whatever that commercial is, you know.

Speaker 2 (39:27):
The guy at the gas station, he's like, dude, that's you.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
Totally Yes.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
The code to the bathroom is.

Speaker 4 (39:37):
Oh Man reminiscent so thirty years ago. So that must
have been like what year one of Bobby Bonia's a Joe.

Speaker 1 (39:44):
You know, I was explain that because I think that's
like a hysterical story every explain.

Speaker 3 (39:49):
The Bobby Bonea thing.

Speaker 1 (39:51):
Okay, so, very good player, by the way, I remember
he was with the Pirates and Killer Bees.

Speaker 3 (39:55):
He was always getting in like fights with the media.
Come on, man, make your move.

Speaker 1 (39:59):
Remember that.

Speaker 4 (39:59):
Like so his contract that he signed with the Mets.
Every year until twenty thirty five, he gets just over
a million what is it, one point three, Mike.

Speaker 2 (40:13):
Get at one point something around it's low one yeah.

Speaker 4 (40:16):
Yeah, every single year he gets he gets a check
July first from the Mets. The Mets could not come
up with the stable cash at the time of the signing.
During the whole well, they didn't know what was going on,
but made off much strapped him off at the time.
So they came up with this idea that they were
going to they were going to pay him these lump

(40:40):
sums every single year. And it has now become this
national thing where on social media it's happy to Bobby
Bonia day. But it's just funny how when it hits,
it hits at the right time because there's nothing to
talk about in sports around.

Speaker 5 (40:56):
So let me ask you, this is he I'm coming
to you first, So start thinking if you were had
a deal where you're getting let's say one point one
million every July. First, how lazy would you be? I know,
how lazy I'd be, like, I know I got that
check coming. No, I'm not working today. I mean, yeah,
come on, be honest, or do you still have like
ambition and stuff?

Speaker 2 (41:19):
Mine's gone.

Speaker 6 (41:21):
I think, yeah, I'm in the same boat.

Speaker 4 (41:24):
First, I would be the same. I mean I would
travel a lot. I would I would probably knowing be
like June thirtieth, I'd be like, just one more day
and then they count will not be zero again.

Speaker 1 (41:40):
Thinking to Barnie May of these schemes, you know, there's
like it's almost a mathematical surgery.

Speaker 3 (41:46):
You're gonna get busted.

Speaker 2 (41:48):
So yeah, you're just waiting.

Speaker 1 (41:50):
Like the kid what's his name got caught in the
Miami thing. He's still under house arrest. But the little
Jewish kid.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
A million dollars, the crypto guy, no, the one like
he he I don't know.

Speaker 5 (42:10):
But the issue with the the reason Bernie got caught
and he knew he was going to he was just
reading because you're robbing from Peter to pay Paul.

Speaker 2 (42:15):
That's the right.

Speaker 5 (42:17):
But when the economy crashes like it did, no seven,
Oh wait, everyone says, oh wait, it started to know
seven started. Yeah, so all of a sudden, when everyone
wants their money at once, that's.

Speaker 2 (42:28):
How it all comes crashing down. That's what happened to him.
But it doesn't make me not want to start.

Speaker 1 (42:34):
At some point, people are gonna want to, like, you know,
cash out a little bit, maybe take your profits you're
gonna get you're gonna get pinched. You're gonna get pinched
by your friends or your car, whoever you're doing this with.
And eventually, like, where do you get off thinking that's
gonna like, what's the thought process?

Speaker 3 (42:51):
Is there a thought process?

Speaker 1 (42:52):
You don't know?

Speaker 4 (42:53):
I just say it's I think you get you get
to a point where you get away with it for
so long.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
Here's the edge of strategy.

Speaker 2 (43:02):
There isn't one unless you disagrase it.

Speaker 4 (43:04):
Just like Micah said, I mean he pretty much knew
two thousand and six, two thousand and seven, when the
ship was about to hit the fan, it was only
a matter of time before he was gonna get caught. Well,
everybody was like, pull out, pull out, pull out.

Speaker 5 (43:19):
Well, it's kind of like do you guys watch any
of the true crime stuff that's everywhere is he Are
you a true crime person?

Speaker 3 (43:25):
It's all I watch?

Speaker 2 (43:26):
Okay, like reality TV?

Speaker 5 (43:31):
Is that what you said?

Speaker 1 (43:32):
Right now?

Speaker 2 (43:34):
What's good on reality TV? Bring me up to speed?
I'll watch it. I'm not.

Speaker 4 (43:38):
Yes, she's all about Love Island. Meanwhile, Joe here, Joe here,
you go. You know most people called nine one one
when you find a dead body, but you didn't do that, dude.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
Ship dateline? Yeah, Keeve Morrison's a great one too.

Speaker 1 (43:54):
Well. There's a guy what's his name, Bill Bill Bill
Bill hater Bill Bill.

Speaker 4 (44:00):
Hayden does but he does them all and he does Josh.

Speaker 2 (44:05):
He he did it in front of Keith Marrison.

Speaker 4 (44:08):
Yes, he also did it on H Well what he
was on Jimmy Kimmel, and Jimmy Kimmel asked him to like,
do god, do you have any Yeah? And he did dateline.
He was like, you guys, friends fans a dateline? I
love dateline? And he did all of them and it
just so happened. Joe and I we were watching it
together and we cried for like an hour.

Speaker 1 (44:32):
So good.

Speaker 3 (44:32):
Who's the who's the news guy?

Speaker 1 (44:35):
Yeah? Shout up l o l It was Oh yeah,
they were fucking cootch passing back and forth L O L.

Speaker 4 (44:45):
Immediately he turned.

Speaker 7 (44:46):
To W two.

Speaker 10 (44:47):
Yes, Josh gets all the Pablo trips. You have to Yeah,
I have to watch it is so freaking good at.

Speaker 3 (44:57):
Writing and delivering.

Speaker 1 (44:59):
You know that's Matthew Perry's stepfather.

Speaker 2 (45:02):
Yes, Oh, I did not know that.

Speaker 5 (45:04):
Yeah, shows that I know about Keith Morrison. All right,
So anything else to wrap up with?

Speaker 4 (45:09):
Yeah, I think one of the things that we got
to talk about real quick. I mean, Zach Wheeler was
just fire in the month of June. I mean, listen
to this, okay, e r A of fifty eight thirty
one innings pitch forty two strikeouts, seven walks, only gave
up two runs two runs batting average. His opponent's batting

(45:30):
average was one eighty five. And yes, yes, dude's awesome.

Speaker 2 (45:37):
And imping to raise a kid with that era.

Speaker 4 (45:39):
Yeah, and then Ranger Suarez. I mean, this dude's gonna
get paid. There's no way you're not trading him now.
You got you need him, and you're not gonna keep them, No,
not at all. I mean, here you go, here's some stats,
all right, Forty one point two innings pitch e r
A of one point three thirty six strikeouts, seven walks,
whip of ninety nine, opponent's batting average one eight, quality

(46:03):
starts six for six. I mean, if these bats wake
up championships hours spells.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
That's a big if.

Speaker 5 (46:13):
I know, if we get Barry Bonds in his problem steroids,
I think we have a chance.

Speaker 4 (46:20):
If Bryce Harper's wrist stops hurting. I mean that's the
other thing too. You got it. Bryce is playing hurt.
I mean the other in his interview yesterday where he.

Speaker 1 (46:31):
Playing hurt like every year he's got something something or other.

Speaker 4 (46:34):
Yeah, I mean that's work. That swing he's got. Man,
it's just.

Speaker 1 (46:40):
Two games out of the match. Still, Yeah they are.
But Padres a good squad. Padres are good squad.

Speaker 2 (46:46):
Yes they are.

Speaker 4 (46:47):
So it looks like they're gonna get rained out tonight. Probably.
I'm going down to the game tomorrow. So you're going
to game tomorrow tomorrow afternoon. Yeah, yeah, one thirty five.
So yeah, it should be should be speaking.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
I do have to say, you know, shout out to
Philly's associate producer, John Desango did it for twenty years.
He passed away on Friday. She'll be you know, that's
why your your your uncle who's a cameraman. Michael Jean's
a cameraman. Yeah, very well liked by the way I
asked around about him. And uh but Thursday morning too,

(47:22):
that they'll go to. But John was He was Chanees's
assistant for many years. Chane he never liked anyone. He
loved John de Sango had a heart attack. It happens,
but good stuff fellaws. Any uh final thoughts?

Speaker 2 (47:38):
Is he is there?

Speaker 4 (47:38):
Any Yeah?

Speaker 2 (47:39):
Is he give us closing thoughts? Yes, give us as
words of wisdom.

Speaker 4 (47:45):
What's the vers what's the reality show we need to
catch besides Love Island? I mean, you're all about it,
so fill us in.

Speaker 1 (47:52):
You tilt that mere next time? Second to see my
hair and stuff?

Speaker 7 (47:55):
Sure, well, there was also this thing called Temptation an island.

Speaker 6 (48:00):
It's a lot of islands in reality TV.

Speaker 1 (48:03):
Which one's better? I caught my daughter s like, five
years you're watching Love?

Speaker 7 (48:08):
What is this?

Speaker 1 (48:09):
It's just.

Speaker 3 (48:12):
There's a lot of eye.

Speaker 4 (48:12):
Can't watch Bachelor Paradise. Bachelor Paradise was always a favorite
one of mine back in the day.

Speaker 6 (48:19):
I think that just started.

Speaker 5 (48:20):
But oh yeah, gotta go.

Speaker 6 (48:25):
They canceled the Bachelorette. I think this year?

Speaker 4 (48:28):
Did they really?

Speaker 6 (48:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (48:31):
I to be a huge fan of Big Brother. Big
Brother was a show that I just loved religiously.

Speaker 1 (48:37):
Watched's Bachelorette?

Speaker 3 (48:39):
Is that running right now? No summertime. They're probably not
doing anything new, right?

Speaker 5 (48:44):
Well, didn't they just have controversy on The Golden Bachelor
with where he said something like I won't date a
woman over sixty?

Speaker 2 (48:50):
In the whole entertainment world kind of was like.

Speaker 1 (48:55):
It was something like that, might that makes a target audience?
Right now? How are you talking about?

Speaker 5 (49:07):
Never mind, I'll save the reality stuff for for next week. Actually,
know what, I'll make sure.

Speaker 2 (49:11):
To watch some So I'm going to watch the Table.

Speaker 4 (49:13):
Yeah, I'm gonna watch Love Island tonight. Maybe that's how
we'll we'll.

Speaker 6 (49:19):
What is?

Speaker 3 (49:19):
What do we need to watch this week?

Speaker 6 (49:22):
Island? Every day? Wednesday?

Speaker 2 (49:25):
Every day?

Speaker 6 (49:27):
Yep?

Speaker 4 (49:28):
And where do we find this peacock?

Speaker 2 (49:34):
I'm going to do it.

Speaker 4 (49:35):
We sound like a bunch of olds. And where do
we see this?

Speaker 5 (49:43):
Do I need Internet?

Speaker 3 (49:44):
The Interweb? Interweb?

Speaker 4 (49:47):
Is that the World Wide Web?

Speaker 2 (49:52):
Call it? That's what we called it? W w W dot?

Speaker 3 (49:56):
Yes, right, always put the w w W.

Speaker 4 (50:00):

Speaker 6 (50:32):

you did.

Speaker 4 (50:35):

past week. It's killer.

Speaker 6 (50:40):
But we have a new Instagram Twitter's.

Speaker 7 (50:43):
Cool talk where you can catch some clips clips. Yeah,
you can put like the apps in the description box
because they're all different.

Speaker 4 (50:52):
But she made a page where you just click on
the page and then you click on where you want
to go.

Speaker 2 (50:57):
It was probably five changing.

Speaker 4 (51:00):
Yeah, you probably should. You probably should.

Speaker 2 (51:02):
I'm busy getting the sports chatter going on Blue Sky.

Speaker 4 (51:05):
You're busy buying snow caps.

Speaker 2 (51:07):
Buying snow caps on Blue Sky. I'm doing both at
the same time.

Speaker 4 (51:11):
That that giant is here again, trying to buy the
snow caps. Not that tall. You don't look tall to me.
That's why I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (51:21):
I look at you, I'm like, Okay, is he fine?

Speaker 5 (51:24):

Speaker 6 (51:41):
I don't think you'd be super short either.

Speaker 4 (51:44):
I think he looks like it's.

Speaker 2 (51:45):
A totally unfair question.

Speaker 4 (51:46):
That's why I ask you think he's a five niner?

Speaker 5 (51:51):
Like, for instance, I can tell that Izzy is seven
to one and a half.

Speaker 4 (51:57):
Very tall, can't he five eight?

Speaker 1 (52:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (52:02):
Six one at six one, standing up on it straight
on a good day.

Speaker 5 (52:06):
So I'm six y three and the girl i've been
seeing is four eleven really yeah my daughter. I just
found out my daughter is four nine almost four ten,
