to get you to tell it to me. You're in
Atlanta and you have bought some laingerie for your first wife, Doris,
(05:16):
and you're with some friends and you're in a hotel.
Is that enough for you to you know what I'm talking.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
I gotta go back a little bit and explain a
few things there Atlanta with Warner Mack and Leestra Bannador.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
And then we're gonna do a concert at the Atlanta
uh four hundred fire crack at four hundred five hundred
something and uh and we were doing a concert with
that uh and uh uh and Lester Bannador asked, uh
water or not to go over uh uh uh two
(05:55):
days early and check on the box office receipts.
Speaker 9 (06:00):
And we went over.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
And we went to a lingerie luncheon with John Fox.
You know John Fox, he's deceased now. And he took
us uh to a luncheon and they served wine and
stuff at the luncheons, you know, so uh, you know,
I got the tasting the wine, and the first negligee
(06:26):
that came out, the lady came out you know, wearing it.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
The models are modeling Blingerie models, Okay.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
And there was about, oh, I don't know, four or
five hundred people there. The first one I bought, I
was feeling good. The wine was good. The first one
I bought, and uh uh uh the lady uh packaged
it up for me and I got uh.
Speaker 9 (06:54):
I got halfway to.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
The hotel with it, and I opened the box to
look at it, and I realized the girl, the model
uh only put the top in there. There wasn't no bottom.
And I said, they ain't it supposed to be a
bottom to this thing? And one of them, I think Warner,
said yeah, I think so. I said, well, let's go
back and get it. So we went back and I
(07:17):
found the girl and she said, I'm sorry, you know
that I made a mistake.
Speaker 9 (07:22):
Well, I got the little old thing.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
It wasn't much, didn't even weigh nothing, And I got
it back to the hotel and we was having a party.
Some friends of ours had come over from from uh
uh Nashville, and there were some ladies there, but they
weren't with us. They and we knew one of them
(07:45):
was Frelin Husky.

Secretary at that time. Uh uh and.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Several other people, but they weren't with us anyway. They
were at the party. And I was feeling good, so
I tried on the negligect. I had forgotten that.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
That Why did you try?
Speaker 3 (08:04):
I wanted to entertain them and and uh this that
the other and I had forgot that. Uh, Warner and
I and Lester had called our wives and told them
to come over the next day.
Speaker 9 (08:20):
And we forgot about it.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
Full of knock, uh comes on the door, and I said,
I'll get it, and I perioaded over to the door.
What I perioded, I did a period and uh, oh
my door, and.

There stood uh all three of our wives, Lord have mercy,
and there you are.

And there I was in the neglig they and a
room full of uh uh people and women within there.
I closed the door and I started to singing. I said, oh,
our wives are here, Warner, that's true. Yours is too,
because I know I couldn't get it out and uh
it's this so happened.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
