No, we're not going to spendthat much in bandwidth costs to
erase, but a couple episodesthat I had them send over, my
first and my last.

Anyway, there were cool callersbut some were just freaking
vile.
Oh, let me mention somethingabout public access in Seattle,
washington.
There was a guy or two and whatthey thought is hey, freedom of

speech, we can show porno.
So after midnight is when theirshow would air and they would
show porno.
However, they didn't reallyhave the rights to the content.
They were showing stuff fromvideos where they'd contacted
the video owners and this isbefore porn was readily
available on the internet andthey said hey, we'd like to show

a scene or two from your video,because we do a public access
show and talk about videos.
And they're like okay, well,the scene they were showing was
all of them running the tape,and sometimes they would do
split screens and run differenttapes from different companies,

as I remember.
So not going to mention thepeople's names, although one of
them was actually kind of cleverand did incorporate the word
Woody into his name the otherperson is just yeah, and I don't

think those people are in theentertainment business anymore
because their shows were shutdown for basically airing
unlicensed content.
Whoops, because in publicaccess back in the day, you had
to sign off and hold harmlessthe cable company for your

activities and, yeah, showingtoo much of other people's
material on your show was ano-no.
And then they're like oh,that's freedom of speech, you

can't curtail me.
Yeah, no, you absolutely canmake your own speech and show it
as long as you, you know,follow the rules of the country
you're in, but no, no, nograbbing other people's vhs
tapes from the 18 or older roomin the back of the country
you're in, but no, no, noGrabbing other people's VHS
tapes from the 18 or older roomin the back of the Quickie Mart
that has some video VHSs forrent that did not wind up flying
forever.

I learned not only Seattle butum Clark County, vancouver
public access and there wasTonya Elton who was the public
access facilitator and thepublic access station slash
studio was actually hostedinside Hudson's Bay High School

before it relocated out of thereto a place in a strip mall
which wound up being near where1550K Van was when I worked for
when I had my show in 1550K Van.
Years later, there's part of methat really wishes I was not

back in Vancouver, washington.
I had a great time in Des Moines, iowa, and there was Midwest
Nice, which is a lot differentfrom the Seattle Freeze, pacific
Northwest Freeze.
I went for a walk on lunch andhad a great conversation with

somebody, a friendly time.
You know it was great.
Up here it's just everyone'sgot their own tunnel vision.
And yeah, when I was going forwalks in Des Moines, iowa, that
was during the time of cellphones and smartphones too.
So it's not oh well, that wasearlier and now it's.
You know, everyone's in theircell phones.

Nope, people were stuck withtheir noses in their socialized
media.
I don't know, I kind of wish Iowned some grass so I could say,
hey, get off my lawn.

avoid extended trailers withthings coming out.
