Kok visits the Shrine of the Flying Attack Dragons. He is showna round by Fan Fang and is greatly impressed by the Shrine's professionalism and facilities. He feels embarrased and inadequate as he compares the Shrine to his own Temple. He is introduced to the Shrine master, Mai Fu Ling, who asks him to join them. He is tempted but doesn't want to leave his love Ying Wa at the Temple. He decides to ask Ying to join him but she refuses, so he returns to the Shrine to decline their offer. Mai Fu Ling blackmails Kok into joining them. With no choice Kok returns to Ying and tells her that he has to leave, she chooses to follow him as she doesn't want to lose him. After they have both left Cheng is crestfallen to find that they have gone.
