A slow deep dive into the mind of brokenness. Brokeness is pointless to show, if there are no methods to build strength in the mind. This is the journey I took for restoring sanity. My life experiences consist of S.A, violence, gangs, drugs, delusional thinking. Having attended Juvenile Hall, Scared Straight and kicked out of my house at 15. A runaway with no aim in life. I've been reluctant to share but here is my attempt. I would spend days in my head trying to figure out why I was suffering so much. Issue by issue I discovered, the methods I used to cope. I dedicated myself to repairing myself, in the form of cleaning up my mind. I structured rooms and levels. I go through the rooms and how I learned to be a functioning member of society. I am the Time Smith.
In this lesson, Triggered, we return to the forge and step back into the deeper rooms of memory—where moments leave marks long after they pass.
Being triggered isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s subtle. A smell. A touch. A sound. A memory you didn’t invite. In this episode, I explore how trauma attaches itself to the body and how one moment can shape the way we interact with the world for years afterward.
We walk through the fourth fl...
In this lesson, The Lens of Uncertainty, The Timesmith returns to the Forge and descends into the deeper floors of the mind — the rooms where confusion is born, where memories echo louder than they should, and where innocence was replaced with questions too big for a child to answer.
Uncertainty doesn’t always announce itself. Sometimes it arrives quietly — in feelings of inadequacy, rejection, anger, violence, addiction, or the con...
In this episode, we step back into the Forge—the place where thoughts, memories, and the unseen parts of our life take shape. Last time, we talked about organizing the mind, understanding the rooms we’ve built from brokenness. Today, we’re going deeper into something even more powerful: clarity.
What does clarity look like when your hopes feel far away? When life demands more than you think you can give? When your heart gets tired o...
Building on last episode’s theme, A Lingering Pain, this lesson explores what it means to organize the mind — to confront the clutter of memories, emotions, and unresolved experiences that shape who we are.
Through powerful storytelling and vivid metaphor, The TimeSmith describes descending through the “floors” of the mind — each one filled with old projects, fears, and forgotten memories — and learning how to bring order to the cha...
“A Lingering Pain.”
Have you ever carried something inside that never quite let you go — a memory, a wound, or a moment that still echoes? In this episode, The TimeSmith opens the forge once more to talk about the lingering pains that shape us. Through faith, reflection, and raw honesty, he explores what it means to live with unresolved pain, how to face it without being consumed, and how grace becomes the tool for healing.
This season has been raw and real — filled with anger, confusion, trust, and even the violation of trust. Every lesson shared has been a look inside the forge, where memories and experiences are refined into clarity and strength. But behind every story, there’s also the challenge of reliving it.
In “Simplify,” The Timesmith brings it all together. He shares how dysfunction can be lived through, how numbness can be unlearned, and how...
Have you ever buried a part of yourself so deep that you couldn’t even find it? In this 10th lesson, The Time Smith explores the hidden depths of trust—how it breaks, how it hides, and how it can be rebuilt after trauma. From a pivotal night in 1997 to a near-death experience, and ultimately being uprooted from home, this episode journeys through the emotional terrain of being forced to grow up too fast.
This is more than a story—it...
Have you ever been haunted by something you never said — something that lingered, waited, pressed into your chest until it could no longer be ignored? This episode is about that moment. It's about confession — not to shame, but to heal.
In this tenth lesson, The Time Smith walks you back into the forge — down the stairs, past memory, into the core of darkness — and reveals the moment he told his mother the truth about what had ...

Welcome back to The TimeSmith. I’m glad you’re here. If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that in our last lesson, we confronted darkness—not just as something to fear or run from, but as something to step into with awareness, intention, and truth.
Today’s lesson is balance. If there’s darkness, what counters it? Light—not just its opposite, but its remedy. This episode explores the deep mental and spiritual spaces we avoid, ...

What do you do with the pain you can’t talk about?
In this episode of The Time Smith, we go deeper into the lesson of coping—not through venting to others, but by exercising something more sacred: writing. Through powerful personal memories, Joseph revisits two defining moments in his life that taught him how to release pain onto the page when words failed him in real life.

In this episode, I open up about the ways I tried to handle life before I truly understood what coping meant. Not every method was right. Some methods confused me. But buried beneath the wrong ones, I discovered the right ones- and they didnt just help me cope... they help me transform.Â
