In twenty twenty five, I Dustin Elkin will be a
guest on Media Maker Spotlight, a podcast that features conversations
with industry professionals on a range of topics of interest
to screen based media makers and is a must listen
resource for filmmakers of all interests and experience levels. Through
fun and interesting interviews, you'll learn all about what goes

subjects such as producing, editing, film festivals, costuming, diversity and
inclusion on set, filmmaker resources, and so much more. It's

and exchange ideas. Their programs range from technical to theoretical,
(01:33):
virtual to in person, and feature local and national industry leaders.
They also have an active list serve where members share news,
seek advice, post jobs, and more. You can learn more
on their website at ww dot wifv dot org. Mediamaker
Spotlight is an interview style podcast that comes out every
other week and features three rotating hosts, Candice Block, Tara Jabari,
(01:57):
and Sandra Abrams. Their guests have included Adam Connover, NASA,
Netflix's Bridgerton, as well as me in the long list
of professionals. The show was created, produced, and edited by
a small team of talented and dedicated volunteers from the
WIFV membership and board. You can find all of the

in twenty twenty one and has produced nearly ninety episodes
(02:42):
to date. The hosts work hard as producers and everything
sounds great thanks to their master audio engineer Steve Lack.
In their third season, booking producer Brandon Ferry and editor
Emma Klin were added to the team to help with
the workload. Beginning in twenty twenty four, they added a
video companion available on YouTube for each episode, and welcome
(03:02):

Perez as video editors. Their episodes offer unique insights and advice,
