Speaker 1 (00:08):
Welcome to the place of the year where you love me,
love me, where you longed for me.
Welcome back to another bonustrack.

(00:43):
Welcome back to another bonustrack.
On June 8, 2025, we had anauspicious day, an auspicious
ceremony.
That is, the eye-openingceremony for our new statue of

(01:05):
Amitabha Buddha.
Amitabha Buddha is the Buddhapresiding over pure land realms,
heavenly worlds, if you will, also known as the Buddha of

(01:25):
Limitless Lifespan, the Tomancic.
The eye-opening ceremony is aninstallment, or an enshrinement
of a new statue.
For us, that auspicious day wasSunday, june 8, 2025.

(01:56):
Such ceremonies are, on variouslevels, elaborate, complex and
so tend to take longer.
Albeit, what is seen during theceremony itself is a tip of the

(02:19):
iceberg, nonetheless, they dotake longer.
As is the tradition, the Sundayservices are followed by a
Dharma talk, what we call a BobMoon, and so, following a unique

(02:47):
ceremony such as theeye-opening, ie needed to be
succinct in what is saidafterwards.
Succinct, of course, isfrequently a trap, on the

(03:16):
account that it could either beover-simplistic or too
concentrated.
Nonetheless, I thought perhapspeople who were either unable to
join us for said ceremony, theycould kind of vicariously if we
will perhaps give anotherlisten to what was said.

(03:38):
This is today this bonus track?
What are three?

(04:04):
I asked Puddha Dharma Sangha.
They answered Frequently in thesutras we find these lines
those who have planted goodseeds in the past cultivated

(04:29):
good deeds, etc.
Etc.
Etc.
Your presence here today is asign, is not coincidental.
You didn't happen to be heretoday.
You may think so.

(04:50):
That's simply because you areunable to trace the twists and
turns of causalities, thethreads that weave the tapestry
we call life.
Nonetheless, I say unto you youhave planted many good seeds in

(05:15):
your past and so you are heretoday, present for this
auspicious occasion.
Among you, there are lotuses invarious stages of growth and

(05:36):
enlightenment.
There are more than 1200 of youhere today, present to our
incalculable various Buddhas andbodhisattvas presiding.
There are dharma guardians.
There's dancing and heavenlymusic rejoicing.

(06:01):
There are great masters of thepast present in approval.
Behold, behold every molecule ofyour whirling, every fiber of
you being electric.

(06:24):
Behold the synaptic explosionsof your brain throwing sparks of
stars onto the unblemishedfirmament.
Behold the kaleidoscope of thevarious dimensions interweaving,
dancing, birthing.
The kaleidoscope of the variousdimensions interweaving,

(06:46):
dancing, birthing, dying, creating and recreating worlds,
permeating worlds, microcosmsand macrocosms.
Behold the fragrant perfume.

(07:19):
A word of warning the seedplanting isn't over.
Beware, should you, in yourpride, say to yourself but of
course, of course, I'm here, Ihave done many a good thing,
planted many a good seeds.
Such pride will rot the soil.

(07:43):
Beware, should you think toyourself insufficient and say to
yourself but I've done many abad thing, planted many a bad
seed.
Such self-doubt will rot thesoil.

(08:13):
If your heart is the soil, ifyour heart is the soil and your
good actions are the seeds, whatthen are the Buddha, dharma and
the Sangha?
Any gardener knows that youneed fertile soil and a good

(08:36):
seed, and the sun, the rain andthe wind.
The Buddha is the sun.
Your wisdom is the sun.
Your wisdom is the sun, thedarkness and ignorance

(09:00):
dispelling sun.
The Dharma is the rain.
The rain of the teachings fallson all indiscriminately,
without judgment or prejudice.
The Sangha is the wind, it ismovement, it is the teachings

(09:28):
put into action.
Each and every one of you istherefore well equipped with the
fertile soil of the heart, theviable seeds of good action, the

(09:50):
wisdom sun of the Buddha, thenourishing rain of the Dharma

(10:12):
and the nurturing wind of theSangha.
Thanks for watching.
