In this episode, we explore the life and career of sword swallower Delno Fritz, who lost a leg at the age of 11, but conquered adversity to go on to become a fire-eater at 15, a world famous sword swallower at 17, a contemporary and rival of Chevalier Cliquot, who went on to perform with Barnum & Bailey Circus in Europe, teach sword swallowing to 13 year old Edith Clifford, to both of this wives, and to his niece Edna Price, before making it in the big screen in Hollywood in the 1920s.
