Our Guest President this week, leading the members Tony Slattery’s Rambling Club, is none other than Graham Seed, actor and star of The Archers! Come and join in as guest President Seed leads us on a ramble through three special destinations chosen entirely at random with the use of Tony’s enchanted bingo machine, as well as reflecting on his remarkable career. As ever, the omniscient voice of Sir Stephen Fry is on hand to keep a firm hand on the battleship of bemusement!
First stop is destination number 641: Food & Drink. A nice easy subject, but it doesn’t take that long for everything to become rather lavatorial!
After that we take a stroll toward 937: The History of the Ancient World-Italy and adjacent Territories. Hmm…if only we had an actor from the famous I Claudius to hand…
Then number 367 awaits- General Clubs. Aside from the Rambling Club, is there any other club to belong to
After all that it’s time to head back down the garden path to Tony’s shed, to take it easy and reflect on how well placed that trampoline was! But will Paul manage to avoid bringing up Crossroads…?
If nothing else it’ll fill the weekend whilst this damned heat continues!
