Are you wondering if you can trust God with your mess? Do you wish you had more confidence in yourself and God? Are you tired of masking for others, not being your authentic self? Do you want to be a woman of integrity and godliness? Then you are in the right place, my friend. This podcast will give you authentic Christian guidance so you can be confident in who God created you to be. Through these episodes, you will receive tools to heal emotionally, grow spiritually, and feel more secure in your identity in Christ. Hi! I’m Sarah. A wife, mom of 3, and the big sister you didn’t know you needed. My 20’s were such a time of confusion, growth, pain, and waiting on God. Insecure in my faith, I spent my energy seeking value and approval from others. I carried emotional wounds (that needed serious healing) way too long. And I exhausted myself trying to find security in all the wrong places: approval from others and personal achievements for outward recognition. Not to mention, worrying if I’d be single FOREVER and if God really did have someone out there for me. All while faithfully following Jesus and being a strong Christian. It took the Lord sending me across the globe into a place of TOTAL trust and dependency on Him to see all the lessons he had been trying to teach me. The mentorship I received while being in a place of complete vulnerability had a profound impact on the way I grew my relationship with Christ. They were the big sisters and spiritual mamas I didn't know I needed. Once I realized my identity was rooted in Christ, not in my work, relationships, or skills, everything shifted. My confidence soared, and my trust in God deepened to a level I never thought possible. I no longer worked for the approval of man; I found a new level of contentment in my singleness and a greater security in my calling. It felt as if I had finally started to find “Sarah.” The Lord opened my eyes to see that every season He had walked me through carried a purpose, one He could use for His glory. And now, I want to share what I've learned with you - equipping you with tools, tips, and a whole lot of encouragement, because finding your identity in Christ in your 20’s is hard. So, if you're ready... To start healing from the pain of your past… Feel rooted in Christ… Have a safe space you can flesh out your mess… Understand who God is, who you are, and how those intersect… Then this podcast is for you. Throw on the yoga pants, tie up the messy bun, Bible open—it’s officially your holy girl era.
