Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hi everyone, and welcome back to Uncensored and Unapologetic. I'm
your host, Cassandra Valentine, your space for real talk, love
and relationships. Today we're exploring a timeless saying from Proverbs.
He who finds a wife finds a good thing. But

(00:23):
let's get real. How do you find a good thing
in today's world where so many options seen fleeting, everyone's
out in the club, and people's hearts aren't always aligned
with theirs. First, understanding the good thing. When the Bible

(00:44):
says a wife is a good thing, it's not just
about material status. It's about value, loyalty, and character. A
good thing is someone who brings stability, trust and love
to your life. But in today's culture, finding someone who
embodies that can feel almost impossible. It's easy to get

(01:08):
lost in appearance, bleeding connections or social scenes where commitment
isn't the goal. The truth is a good thing isn't
defined by popularity, nightlife, or instant attraction. It's defined by integrity, respect,
and compatibility. Second, recognizing real value. So how do you

(01:36):
spot a good thing in a world full of distractions?
Look for qualities that endure. First, character over appearance. This
does this person respect themselves and others. Second, consistency do

(01:59):
their words their actions? Third emotional availability can they communicate,
listen and handle conflict maturely? Fourth shared values do your
life goals and morals align. Popularity or social activity doesn't

(02:25):
define work. The real treasure is in the qualities that
matter long term. Third where to look beyond the club?
If you want a meaningful connection, the club might not
be the best hunting ground. Consider social circles where people

(02:49):
share your values, like church, professional groups, or Harby communities.
Volunteering or community work where character and service shine. Mutual
friends or referrals people who are vetted by people you trust.

(03:16):
Sometimes a good thing is already in your orbit, you
just need to recognize the right qualities and Fourth, patience
and intention intentionality. Finding a good person takes patience and intention.

(03:38):
Don't settle for the flashy or popular choice just because
it's easy or available. Invest your time in people who
match your vision, challenge you positively, and are consistent in
their character. Remember, a good thing is rare, but it

(04:02):
is worth waiting for. Here is an affirmation I would
like for you to repeat after me. I attract and
recognize true value. I am patient and intentional In seeking
meaningful connections, I honor myself and those I choose to

(04:28):
lat in my life. In closing, he who finds a
good partner finds a treasure. But it's not always in
the obvious places. Look beyond appearance, night life and fleeting popularity.

(04:55):
Seek character, integrity, and alignment. Value the person who truly
uplifts you, and be patient in your pursuit. Thank you
for tuning in too uncessable and unapologetic. Share this episode

(05:18):
with some one who needs this reminder. A good thing
is rare, but when you find it, it's worth everything.
Until next time, stay intentional, protect your heart, and recognize
true value. Thanks for listening. Good Bye,
