Bonus episode!
Welcome to the VODPod Reflects!
The extra podcast, brought to you by the National Dignity Council.

From time to time, we’ll publish bonus content that was either too long, too detailed, or just too late to make it into the main episode. For those of you who want to take a deeper dive into the issues discussed, and the good practice that we champion, it’s a chance to go into more detail, and take a closer look at the issues discussed. We’ll also use this space to discuss your emails, comments and stories.
In our third bonus content offerings, Jan and Alex reflect on the conversation they had with Robert Lamacraft in Season 1, Episode 3, where he discusses his role as chef, and then using food and art, on his own time, as a conduit to engage with service users, and the lesson he learnt along the way. Alex and Jan discuss this excellence in practice and its importance with regard to dignity, whilst relating it to the 10 Dignity Do’s.
Please get in touch with the show to share any experiences you have of receiving, or delivering, care with Dignity, Kindness and Respect.
If you would like a certificate to show VODPod as part of your CPD learning hours, please contact us at the show’s email address with a comment about the show and three little things which you can take forward from our discussion. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
