Today we're going to talk about the CPHI which took place in Milan in Italy.
CPHI stands for Conference for Pharma Ingredients.
CPHI Milan 2024. I mean it's a fantastic attendance, about 62,000 people as the website of CPHI says.

But my own radar kind of felt like 162,000 people.
So yes, a lot of people. Milan, the city, fantastic city of fashion, art, food and now also pharma.
The venue at Fiera Milano welcomed me with open arms and guess what?

Even though the hot topic was artificial intelligence in manufacturing and supply chain management,
they had a Trojan horse. Not as a virus, but as a huge wooden horse.
All the cool stuff you can find there.
There were lots of interesting presentations on manufacturing 5.0 and next-gen bio

utilizing the upcoming perks of generative AI.
The real value of the CPHI, it gave an as-is overview of the industry in everyone's hopes, dreams and visions
of an AI driven future in their companies and adjacent ecosystems.
The best knowledge sharing happened in one-on-one meetings.

I was fortunate to have a lot of them and to reconnect with existing and new partners.
A big shout out to my former sales team at World Courier. It was fantastic bumping into you.
To summarize the event, it's the conglomeration of companies and service providers
representing the state of the pharma industry.
It's a must attend for anyone who is working or affiliated with the pharma industry.
