know how we life will apply faith, food, fitness and
nutrition to everything that we teach you. And I am
absolutely always very blessed that you allow me to do it.

Of course, we need this information and it's Men's Health
Awareness Months, so we want to talk about the numbers
for a healthier you.

You mentioned that at some point in life, you.

Gotta grow up, you gotta help up, you gotta do
what today to be you know, physically fit, mentally, and
of course spiritually fit. But we want to talk about
numbers for a healthier you.

Well, let me give you these numbers in first County
and thirteen eleven that says, when I was a child,
I spake as a child, I thought as a child,
But when I became a man, I put away childish
things and becoming a man. One of those things is
knowing your numbers. I hear some guys say sometimes I'm

a numbers guy. I'm a numbers guy. Where these are
some of the numbers that you need to know for
a healthier you. It's your blood pressure number one twenty
over eighty. It's your cholesterol numbers less than two hundred.
It's your blood sugar, even your fasting blood sugar which
is less than one hundred. Is your body mass index.

We need your BMI. What's your BMI? Go in and
find out. And even your waste what is the inches
with your waist? That you know, all of these numbers
can alert you if you need to be resetting and
refocusing your health goals. So men, know your numbers, go

in and get these things checked and make sure that
you have healthy labs.

I want to talk about men's health issues by the numbers.
Did you know one and three men have high blood pressure.
We're gonna talk to you about how to get that
blood pressure down.

We want to talk to the men on this Men's
Health Awareness Month about men's health issues by the numbers

and preventative care.

Absolutely.

First of all, we want to celebrate all our men
and kings out there. Happy Father's Day. Men, we aren't you.
We love you and.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
We want you to be alive.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
And I'm telling you. When I was pulling together research
and it said man guy and an average of five
to six years sooner than women. I said, we have
to do something about keeping our men healthy and happy.
I always say a happy house is a happy spouse,

So we got to make sure that both people are
happy and healthy. And then there is one in three
men that are challenged with high blood pressure. So if
you are being challenged, two things simple things that you
can start doing daily is drinking hibiscus tea, drinking hydrangea tea.
(04:35):
These H and h is to keep you healthy and
happy will be pivotal pillars in your home when you
are challenged with high blood pressure. The other thing that
you can do is eat watermelon. Make sure that it's seeded.
A seated watermelon. And then three out of four men
(04:57):
are overweight. If you are over if you have to
wear different bottoms for a different top, or your buttons
are screaming asking for.

Some existence that is you.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
So there are things that you can get into like
intermitted fasting, making sure that you watch your carves, making
sure that you walk and that you lift weights, and
that at least five days out of the week you're
getting at least thirty to forty minutes of some type
of workout in and then did you know that almost

twice as many men die of hard attack disease as women.
So whether it is diabetes or whether it is a
heart disease, stroke, pneumonia, cancer, men, it is time for
you to make better choices when you're eating, and when
(05:56):
you're living, and when you're practicing your faith.
