Mazie saying she'd spotted that Redskin and Hilton a few
times during the past couple of months.

That means that Mask Man is snoop around the territory too.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
That may help us find out. Uh what you do.
I'll disguise myself as a Mexican, take silver and leave
him at the livery stable, and I'll hire another horse.
Why you do that? I'll go to the cafe, and
I didn't apply for a job. That way I'll be
able to find out about Slugger. Not plenty risky, perhaps,

go out the back.

Way and find that camp.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
I'll show him where is.

Speaker 8 (09:18):
Don't get too anxious, slugger, move in easy like from
all sides and take him by surprise.

Speaker 4 (09:24):

Him, wheezing in mm. Then drop that gun.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
The campers around Totoe whirl in the direction from which
the voice had come. He saw first one figure, then
another move into the clearing, until several men ring the
camp and were closing in on him. Realizing he had
no chance against so many, Tahoe spoke me, drop gun.

is wrong.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Now, diave here of the Mask Man and his Indian friend.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Slugger wants you to come to the cabin.

Speaker 6 (17:11):
Man, I reckon I might as well.

Speaker 8 (17:14):
If I don't, Slugger might get riled enough to plug
the Indian for not talking.

Speaker 6 (17:18):
I'm sorry for the interruption.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
Carlos, What damn? I not one of your workers. Now

left the cafe. Once outside, he hurried into the shadows
and quickly reached the back door of the Sheriff's office.
He stood a moment scribbling a note on a small
piece of paper, but she wrapped around a silver bullet.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Then he pounded on the door. What's the matter? Who's there?
I bring a message for the sheriff. It is most important, Senor.

Speaker 6 (18:05):
What did you come in the front way?

Speaker 3 (18:06):

Speaker 3 (18:29):

Speaker 4 (18:29):
Mazie and Jack came to the front of a cafe.
The lone ranger was already waiting beside the horse he
had hired the livery stable. The two men and Mazie
mounted and took the trail leading to the hideout cabin.
Later they entered the cabin where Slugger and Maizie's three
guns legs were waiting.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
Couple was tied to a chair pad.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
You got here, Mazie.

Speaker 3 (18:53):

the red skin heep with some slapping around. Don't have
any affair.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
I'm almost temperature.

Speaker 8 (19:10):
Throw your temper, Slugger. It must be some way to
get him to tell where that.

Speaker 3 (19:15):

ma Is he you have how he's a weaky knife,
a feery knife at the back way that shall prove
my point. See a holy knife in my hand, or
I walk behind the Indian.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
The others watched expectantly as the Lone Ranger walked slowly
behind the chair to which totoe was tied with his
hands and back all of the crooks that hosted their guns.

Speaker 6 (19:39):
Well, Carlos, go on, We're waiting to see how you
make out. If you get 'em to tell where the
lone Ranger is, I'll pay you vot.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
I did not think I'll fail. Mazie, Hey, what are
you doing with that knife? The point of the knife
drawing along the reefs like sauce, saying, you are these
most effective?

Speaker 6 (19:58):
Let 'em alone, slugger God.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Carlos, Mazie and the men were several feet away and
in front of Toto. The Indian's body hid. The knife
in the Lone Ranger's hand was soon break.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
Darren talk of me goes.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
Watch as he talked, the mask man drew the keen
blade across the rope which bound Toto's wrists.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
Toto winced as if in pain, and look at last.

Speaker 6 (20:17):
The Indians show and he's afraid keep it up. Carlos,
get him talking.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
Toto felt the ropes give.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
Then the Lone Ranger purposely dropped the knife to the floor.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
I am getting so clumsy.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
As the mask man bent to pick up the knife,
he slipped one of his guns into Toto's hand.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
Slugger suddenly spoke out.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Saw that Carlos, by twenty of your tub of cross.

Speaker 3 (20:35):

and hold it.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Hey, gird your guns man, you not soon.

Speaker 4 (20:48):
The Lone Ranger and Toto fired simultaneously as Slugger and
one of the cooks started to draw, warning them both
had it.

Speaker 6 (20:54):
We got everyone covered, share it then, I'm bright, tricked
me out.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Can't help that gun, lazy.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
For a long time.

Speaker 8 (21:30):
I never thought i'd be fool enough to fall for
flattering words from any ombrey.

Speaker 6 (21:35):
Then he came along, talking and.

Speaker 8 (21:37):
Looking like a Mexican and trickney. How'd I hate him
for that?

Speaker 3 (21:41):
You might have been a fine woman if you hadn't
turned crooked, Missus Andrews, As Carlos would say, you have
a certain amount of beauty and charm, sheriff father, and
I'll leave now. We'll see you later after I remove
my disguise. Ilse everybody.

Speaker 6 (22:00):
Hey, hey, did you hear what he said about me?

Speaker 3 (22:03):
Beauty and charm?
