for you?

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Yeah? Yeah, it's twenty cold.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
I see the hoods are on, the hats are on that.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Okay, Uh, let's get right into it. A year ago,
almost a year ago, Sat in Carolina comes out. Here
we are now in January twenty twenty five. How's it
changed you guys?

Speaker 3 (00:31):
In less than a year.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
That song has done a lot for us. Uh, you know,
obviously number one on the radio. It's just cool to
get that under the resume. It's just cool to say
that that's something that's we've been through.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
I absolutely adore the song gives you a nice nineties vibe.
Is that the the what you were going for when
you when you did it.

Speaker 5 (00:48):
I think we just made a song that we enjoyed. Yeah,
and everybody was just like, that's what this sounds like.
And I think that's been We don't go for.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Anything when we're writing.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
I think that's how bad music's made is when you
have such a strict image in your head of what
you want to do.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
In the minute I heard it, I was like, this
takes me back.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
I'm old.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
You know what I grew up with that said western grunge.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Can you give me like a real definition of it?

Speaker 3 (01:13):
No, not at all.

Speaker 5 (01:14):
It's when you take four kids that grew up in
West Texas right with parents that listened to every nineties
grunge man. So it's that it's the like you grew
up in Texas. You're surrounded by the like country cowboy culture,
but you also love Alison Chains and Nirvana and all
those people.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
So that'll bring me to The song is called Sad
in Carolina.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
I know a lot of nineties music was kind of.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Very emotional angst if you were Is it really about
being sad in Carolina?

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Yeah, we wrote it in Carolina. What part of Carolina Asheville, Ashville.
It was very sad.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
It was on our first ever tour, and we were
staying at Airbnb and like the hills on the outskirts
of Ashville, and we're trying to figure out what to
call it. And then James is like, I'm sad in
Carolina and we were like.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Yeah, I've seen a lot of footage of stage diving
during your shows.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Should we expect any here at Xfinity Line?

Speaker 5 (02:13):
So I'm banned from it? Shout out my fiance I
love you. She's told me that I'm not allowed to
do it, which is the right thing to do because
I will get hurt.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
And she'll know because we're filming, so you can't hi,
you know.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
And that's scary.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
I had to stop because I was a little too heavy.
I heard people like grunting like so I was like,
I'll never do that again.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
I think a bowflex could help that.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
T I killed a guy. I killed a guy. Okay,
you can, you can cut that out.

Speaker 2 (02:40):

you guys football fans?

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Big? No, No, we're just gonna Dallas unfortunate. We don't
have to say. We don't want to get beat off?
Is it? Dallas is unfortunately for us?

Speaker 2 (02:54):

you know tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (02:58):

a great answer.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Do we all agree with Seagulls. Yeah, you guys a
rookie quarterback, you're good.
