(00:01):
I barely drink anymore. So Ihaven't quit drinking, but I've just found
that I really could go the restof my life about drinking and be totally
fine. And the reason is,like, you know, you drink,
and then it's just it's literally becometo the point where it's just not worth
it to me anymore to be hungover, and you know, just be hungover
(00:23):
like you're dehydrated. It takes thewhole next day to drink enough water,
pee it out, sweat it outlike you know, eat right, and
even then, like you're sleep, you're so tired, and then you sleep
that night, I'm still anxious personallyafter a day of drinking. The next
day, I'm still super like anxious. So I can't sleep the next night
either, And even if I do, I know it's not quality sleep.
(00:46):
So you go out, you drinka lot, and then you go go
to sleep. You get terrible sleep. You probably don't sleep enough hours,
and even if you do, youstill wake up feeling exhausted because it was
a poor quality sleep. And thenyou wake up the next day, Like
I said, you gotta hydrate allday, you know, eat all the
right things, which usually you don'twhen you're hungover, and then even that
(01:06):
next night, like you get badsleep. But me personally, I can't
get to sleep because I'm like anxiousfrom the drinking, and I get bad
sleep again, and then usually that'sMonday. So my week is like already
starting to be messed up until Tuesday. And I'm only twenty twenty four,
so like, I know that asI get older, that's gonna get worse.
But so I just like, tome, drinking, I you know,
(01:29):
it's fun, I have a goodtime. I'm not saying I'll never
do it again, but to me, it literally just isn't worth it anymore.
Even if I'm on vacation, Likeif I go and drink like my
whole next day, I'm not gonnabe able to do as much, see
as much, you know, travelaround, adventure as much because I'm just
exhausted. I'm exhausted. I'm tryingto recover. So to me, stopping
(01:53):
drinking was so easy. Like there'ssome other addictions that are actually like hard
to quit, but for me,you know, it just kind of like
came to me. I'm like, dude, this isn't worth it anymore.
And even having like one or twodrinks. You know, it's just not
worth it because to me, it'snot gonna do anything to me. And
then I'm just I prefer to wakeup the next day feeling amazing compared to
(02:15):
how I used to feel after drinking. It's literally just that contrast. So
if everyone's going out, if it'sFriday night, you have this unique opportunity
to wake up like ten times better, you know, more effective of a
human than everyone else that went outand drank. So you have that whole
day to just crush everybody else andsurpass them and have a great day,
(02:37):
like have a better day. You'llhave a I think it's drinking's fun.
And people might say like, oh, you're gonna miss out. It's like,
no, you guys are gonna missout on the day tomorrow where I'm
gonna be able to have my wholeday. But you you know, did
that and got a couple hours offun. So I'm not saying I'll never
drink again, like I said, but I haven't drank and probably like over
a month, and even if Idid, I really didn't drink much and
(02:59):
I'm just so much I feel somuch better the next day waking up with
full energy at great night sleep, whereas everyone else had a terrible night's sleep
and they can't do anything. They'redragging. But and that just lets me
pass up people that you know, went did that, so
