she's traveling and teaching. We have some fabulous co hosts
that are going to work with us today. We have
Mary Anne Love, a clinical psychologist from Melbourne, Australia. We

have Gabrielle Thompson from Mount Beauty, Australia. We have Mary
Smith from Kingman, Arizona, and myself, Trina Cooper from near Denver, Colorado.
Our other two co hosts El Away from Sydney, Australia
and Evelyn Yalda from Miami, Florida are unable to join

us today, So there are four of us who are
going to work with you to finish up the book
that we're currently reading. So we're presently studying from the
book entitled The Heartmouth Solution, and we're coming to the
close of the book. This book is by Doc Childre

(01:45):
and Howard Martin with Donna Beach as the authors. And
this book has been quite fabulous. It's got a lot
of great tips and tools in it. And the last
time when we were together, we were covering chapter up
through chapter eleven. So today we're just going to take

(02:06):
a minute to review just a bit about chapter eleven
in Part four, and then also twelve and thirteen will
cover those more in depth. We'll kind of take a
little review of the book, and then we'll talk about
how you can use these things, especially a couple of
the techniques that are presented here, and actually how you

(02:31):
can implement them in your life. So I'm going to
start really quickly talking about chapter eleven, twelve, and thirteen,
and in these chapters we're really talking about the social

(02:51):
heart intelligence. We talked about heart intelligence, how the heart
has intelligence, and we want to see how do we
apply this in social not just ourselves, but in larger
global maybe in classrooms, maybe in the workplace. Chapter eleven
was all about families, children and the heart, the fact

(03:15):
that the home is where we really find feelings of
safety and security if we learn how to do these techniques,
if we really learn how to communicate with each other.
It covered parts like family values, all the influences that

(03:35):
affect our children, and how important it is to find
that love and caring in our homes. The roles of
the heart in children. Children are basically all full of
heart generally, and the more that they feel loved and
the more they feel that they're important, and the more
that we can listen to them and get in touch

(03:57):
with their hearts, the more the greater chance they have
in growing up to be really, really good adults. Heart
math in education is another topic that was covered in
chapter eleven, and it's helping children to really connect in schools.

(04:18):
Some of these things that were so important, especially with
bullying and things that go on in the schools. This
is using heart math techniques in the schools, helps them
to connect, helps to motivate them. It deals with anger,
It deals with peer empathy. We can use it at

(04:40):
school and we can use it at home, and the
kids seem to respond to the tools of the heart.
They love this breathing through the heart. They love to
associate with other kids, with other people. And since if
we can instill in them from the time they're young
that they have these tools and techniques, they can carry

(05:04):
them through their lives and help them connect even greater
as an adult. In chapter twelve we talk about social
impacts and again these we live in this world that
really needs more heart. And when we live from heart intelligence,
when we can quiet ourselves down and we can hear

(05:27):
that intuition or that small voice inside helping us move
through the world on a daily basis, this is going
to not only improve our lives, but the lives of
everyone around us. So in chapter twelve we deal with
the social impact, how we can care and allow our

(05:47):
feelings to grow along with those as we help others.
It talks about specifically how to use heart math in
the workplace and all of the potential that come with that.
In corporations, how can we use these HEARTMTH tools and corporations,

(06:09):
and how about in government agencies where people can get
very laxadaisical because they have more of a secure, lifelong
employment and they need maybe a little more motivation. How
does heartmath contribute to that. In what they call the
urban battlefield and the first responders who are continually under stress,

(06:31):
continually being pushed to the max, how can they use
the heartmath tools to better keep themselves centered, better to respond,
better to go home, and in serving others in communities
and nonprofits. Chapter thirteen goes into the twenty first century
heart It's in a world where we can feel very overloaded,

(06:56):
we can feel that there's so many issues going on.
How do we use these tools to cultivate ways to
create love and heart coherence in the world. So he
does talk a lot about global stress momentum, how the
more we're connected, the more stress can move quickly. But
also at the same time, because we're connected, we have

(07:20):
the coherence momentum that we can actually spread this heart
coherence throughout the world. Takes a look at science and
spirit and how does the scientific side of things actually
connect with the spirit side of things, and what does
heartmath have to do with that. There are electromagnetic properties

(07:45):
we share this all the time and it's being seen
and it's being felt, and so there's theories in here
that we're going to share tonight. And also societal coherence.
How do we connect how if we create heart coherence,
can we expand that there's a personal responsibility piece of this.

(08:08):
And then in taking this personal responsibility, how do we change?
How do we manage change in ourselves and in the world,
and what is it going to look like in the future.
So that's we're going to take you tonight, and we
just want to I just want to share a couple things.
This has been a journey over the first through this

(08:32):
and this book is set up. This book, the Heart
Math Solution, is set up in four parts. One talks
about heart intelligence, So do you understand the scientific, the
chemical and the connection between the heart and the brain
and the rest of the body systems and why does

(08:54):
heart math work? And then in part two we begin
to access art intelligence, which is really phenomenal to begin
to understand that when we create coherence in our heart,
we create coherence in our body, we create coherence in
our brain, everything functions better and we're better able to

(09:17):
create coherence in the environment around us. So we learn
about the risks of non coherence, and we're starting to
learn the tools freeze, frame, energy efficiency, and some of
the heartcore power tools like appreciation and how powerful appreciation

(09:37):
can be. Then in part three we start learning about
the advanced heart intelligence, so we could take this even
deeper into the emotions. We learn about care and overcare
that when we're caring, we're really in touch with our
heart and we're listening empathetically to people. But when we overcare,

(10:03):
when we begin to worry, when we begin to stress,
it's really a detriment to us and to the people
we're trying to serve. So there's a cut through technique there.
We'll cover that tonight as well, and that helps develop
emotional maturity. And then finally the heart lock in, which
is a way to keep ourselves heart centered every day,

(10:25):
all the time. And finally in part four, which is
where we are right now, is the social heart intelligence.
So we did talk about chapter eleven last week, the
family's children and the heart, and so now we're going
to move forward and allow I believe it was Gabrielle

(10:47):
who was coming next to talk about social impact.

It's Marianne, and I'm going to go to Marianne first
chapter twelve Social Act.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Yeah, this is a really interesting chapter because we really
want to look at how do we apply this information
in all the different contexts of our lives. So the
workplace and organizations we work for is such a big
part of many of our lives. So the heart Math
can really help improve not only our lives, but the

(11:21):
lives of other people who had trained. And they've done
heaps of research in this area, particularly in areas of corporations.
So it's important to access the heart when you're doing
the change process because the change process in a workplace
is very, very stressful. And so they found that people

(11:43):
who did do the heart math training improve their attitudes,
the customers satisfaction improved, their revenue improved, so really just
powerful impacts all round. And they gave a good example
of heart in the workplace with a company called Motorola,

(12:05):
who had a good reputation for looking after their staff already,
but back in nineteen ninety four seems like a long
time ago. Now they had a big change in the market,
lots more competition coming into the market, and so they
brought heart math in to help train their employees. So
they did six months of training and the results were amazing.

(12:27):
They found like the productivity increased by ninety three percent,
teamwork increased by ninety percent, they had a ninety three
percent greater sense of empowerment, and ninety three percent felt healthier.
And so they reported a reduction in anxiety, burnout, and
hostility and increased contentment. So that's massive. There's no money

(12:51):
value really you can put on that. And so he
talks here about applying heart to cooperation corporations and they
do a program called Inequality Management. So that's all about
achieving coherent communication and boosting the organization's climate and facilitating

(13:12):
a strategic process of change and renewal. So in that
program they teach the freeze frame, the cut through, and
the heart lock technique. And they did another research applying
it to a Dutch company and then they found that
there was a sixty five percent reduction intention, eighty five

(13:32):
percent reduction in fatigue, sixty five in anger, and forty
four reduction in people's intention to leave the company. And
they also looked at applying it to government agencies and
did some research with a company who was a Canadian
power company who got deregulated in the US, so it

(13:53):
wasn't a government ent anymore. It had to become private
very quickly. So in order to manage the change process,
they did bring in heartmath and did some training and
they again found like stress was reduced people in the
control group. So the group that didn't get any training
increased their sleepless nights by fifteen percent, but people who

(14:16):
got training decreased it by eleven percent, So big big
impact in the urban. Under the topic urban battlefield, they
spoke about how it can be applied to police officers
and law enforcement because this is really a high stress
job and results in force retirement, catastrophic illness, early death,

(14:41):
and so managing your own nervous system as a law
enforcement officer is fundamental to be able to do the
job well, but also to be able to live happy
lives at home and leave work at work. And so
they found that if a police officer did the training,
they could access their full intelligence of their heart more
fully and reduce their need to blame or anger, gain

(15:05):
more clarity, increase their decision making ability, and this is
really important if they're in a situation where they have
to decide, so they gave a scenario here where a
police officer had to go into a break and entry
and find out whether the culprit was still in the
house or whether the employees were there. So they had

(15:30):
to stay on board and they had to stay regulated.
And so they showed in Figure twelve point two that
the stress levels clearly of the officer went right up
when they entered the house, which makes sense, and when
they found the culprit and handcuffed them, and that it
took them ten minutes to reduce and come back to normal,
regulated emotional experience. So then you think that this method

(15:55):
is not only good for maintaining clarity in high stress situations,
but it's also so really good for letting go of
high stressful situations and coming back to a normal state
more quickly. It's also really important in terms of serving
others because it helps you get out of your head
and just stay in the heart and you can decide

(16:18):
when you can invest time and energy into helping others
and being mindful of that whole area and caring or overcaring,
and so deeply connecting to the heart first is actually
a really powerful way of considering meaningful opportunities to help others.
So there's a lot in that chapter that was really helpful,

(16:39):
and so much in all the way through the book,
I mean, all the different parts of the book were
really really powerful. I mean just first part, like looking
at the heart intelligence and just understanding how important positive
emotions are to not only our happiness levels, but also
our immune system, our ability to make intelligent decisions, and

(17:01):
if we partner with our heart, then we can be
in a very powerful place in life to live well.
Part two gave us lots of good tools. It gave
us lots of the techniques that we can use to
gain that inner coherence. We learned the freeze frame technique,
which really helps us stop the big negative emotions that

(17:23):
we might be feeling and get into the wisdom of
the heart. And we learned about the asset deficit balance
at sheet and just to objectively observe our lives in
that way and do account on what's good for us
and not so good for us. And we learned about
the appreciation exercise, and in part three we did it

(17:47):
was kind of much more about the advanced intelligence, So
understanding more deeply about emotions and how emotions work, and
the tools to overcoming like draining emotions to how to
generate actually a positive shift in emotions and deeply sink
into the maturity of the heart, and taught us a

(18:08):
lot about caring versus overcaring, and often people get those
two very mixed up. We learn more about the freeze
frame technique and the cut through technique, and in the
last part we learn more about how do you apply
all these tools to your family, to your workplace, and
to the broader community. So so much in all of this,

(18:28):
it's been really wonderful book.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
Thank you, Marian. You know it's true, and every one
of those it sounds like you work on yourself, you
can work on the community. You open the heart in yourself,
you can open the heart in the community. And so
we're going to go to Gabrielle and have her share
chapter thirteen and what she got out of thirteen and

(18:55):
the other sections in the book.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
Yes, thank you. Chapter thirteen leads on from eleven and twelve,
like eleven looked at the family unit, then twelve looked
at a wider workplace societal unit, and chapter thirteen looks
at the world you know, because it is recognized that
you know many of us at the present time, feel

(19:19):
feel overwhelmed about what's going on in the world. We
may feel uncertain about the future, and workplaces undergo many
changes as we've just heard as well, but we can
also recognize that change can bring an opportunity, and especially
this book us us to change our consciousness to seek coherence,

(19:41):
alignment of the heart with the head, and that will,
rather than bring division into the world, will achieve coherence.
The stress that many of us feel, and as we
heard in previous chapters, is you know, stress is pressure, strain,
anxiety that that actually results from how we perceive the world,

(20:03):
and it affects the whole body. It affects all of
our system, hormonal, immune system, all the organs and how
they work. So what we want to look at really
is how does stress, my stress, your stress affect everyone else?
Because it does. We are connected on every level, and

(20:24):
the stress that one person feels is amplified and others
feel it true and then of course we have TV
and other broadcasts that make it even bigger. If anything
happens in the world anywhere, it is most likely we
all feel it, whether we know about the event or not.
And that's quite a powerful realization. Quantum non locality is

(20:45):
a term that actually describes that we are connected in
a connected over distance. The moment we have connected once
we are always connected and the distance does not matter.
So society actually needs more emotional management and that has
to start with us. And emotional management really means reducing

(21:06):
our emotional and mental reactions to everything, you know, becoming
more aware and more conscious and being able to respond
rather than react, and we can find that through our
heart momentum. We want to find coherence, which is effectively order.

(21:26):
Internally it is harmony, and when that takes place within us,
there's no energy wasted, and not just within us as
we know now, it affects everyone around us. This can
be found through gratitude and joy and using any of
the techniques we found in the book and along the lines,
we might find meaning and purpose in our life and

(21:46):
that is pretty powerful. Indeed, we want to start a
dimensional shift in consciousness and humanity, so that's what we're
on about. We can actually learn to access to subtle
fields around us that now can even be measured, and
bring in the communication that comes from those places. We

(22:11):
can change our perspective and become more aware of the
whole rather than zoning in to what we respond to
in our patterns of behavior, feeling, and thinking that are
stored in our brain. Often when people are really stressed,
they do go into their hearts automatically, and it also

(22:31):
brings people together. What we've heard in the book too,
is that the heart electrical signal when we go into
the heart is immediately recognized in the brain. So there's
many tables in the book that show us the effect
in scientific proof. We want to reach a critical mass

(22:54):
where humanity can have that caherance, not just in our
own little lives or big lives. So when we identify
with all that's happening in the world, we can be overwhelmed,
and it's kind of like a sleep state where where
many many function in a kind of a survival mode
rather than being consciously conscious. But when we start to

(23:16):
take personal responsibility for our own emotional management and tap
into the insight that the heart can give us, which is,
you know, finding the underlying truth for us, like having
a clear understanding and awareness what is really going on
for us, then we can go into alignment. So the

(23:36):
heart mass techniques really bring hope for us to make
changes in our own perceptions and thus affect the whole
life around us. Maybe we will find more fulfillment to that.
Maybe we will find feel more secure rather than being overwhelmed,
and freedom to be self empowered and feel we are

(23:59):
part of a cope, creative process and not just overwhelmed
by what happens around us.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Thank you, Gabrielle. That was beautiful. And again it's still
while we're talking about this global perspective, it's like, start
with yourself, move out globally, and we can see every
day that this is something that's critically important that we
begin to use these processes, we share these processes with people,

(24:30):
and we expand them out. So I'm going to go
to Mary Smith and welcome Mary. We'd love to hear
what you have to say today.

Speaker 5 (24:39):
Super to be here and what an extraordinary part of
the book to be here to share. So there are
three really important things that stood out to me in
chapter twelve Chapter thirteen. Chapter twelve really leads into the
whole book leads into chapter thirteen. But first of all,
it's how they take you through the whole book to

(25:02):
show you the importance of you, the importance of me
understanding the heart intelligence being that the heart is the powerhouse,
not the mind, it's our hearts. And that's quite a
mind shift right there. And then the second days it's
not only that we are responsible for ourselves. We have

(25:22):
a responsibility to our communities. And we see this in
social media in what he talks about the media, and
so in society. And the third is this book was
written and like Mary Anne referenced, nineteen ninety four was
one of the studies. Nineteen ninety nine is when the
book was published. We're now in twenty twenty five. So

(25:46):
what they were expressing as their confidence and belief and
hope and seeing happening, we're actually seeing a chaos, yes,
but we're actually seeing the application of these heart techniques.
For one, the corporation. So that's kind of where I command.

(26:06):
So I have to be steady enough, observant enough in
my heart enough to hear what's going on around me
to view to see how best to take a look
at things. Well, did you know that corporations now have
officers called chief heart officers. It's true and this has

(26:28):
been going on for a while now. Now, how do
you think they got there? Somewhere? They came across heart
math somewhere people were responsible enough inside themselves and that group.
Just like heart Math says, in a corporation, you have
to be sufficiently stable and observing what's going around you

(26:49):
and staying in your own heart vision of your business
to make sure that's what people are experiencing when they
encounter you. To you know, in part one we learn
about part intelligence. In part two, yes we have techniques.
In part three, you're really in stressful situations where you're saying,

(27:09):
how can it possibly apply what you do? So when
we come to not just the family or the community,
we're getting into corporations, we're getting into government's police army.
These people understand saying goodness that people understand that you
have to have a place where you can breathe and

(27:32):
not just be part of the fight or flight mechanism
that is natural in our bodies. In heart Mouth expresses
this value system care, flexibility, excellence, And the only way
you can do that is by making sure you're in

(27:54):
that place in your heart where you can observe and
you're not tied into somebody shooting at you. Well, you
have to be at a place where you can objectively
take a look at not only what's going to save
your life, but the people around you and the person
who's shooting at you. So the care of flexibility and

(28:14):
excellence is it really stood out to me as something
as for ourselves, that's for our community and our whole world.
And in chapter thirteen, in part four, they talk about
how the whole world is measured. There is a field,
a heart field of the entire planet, and you know

(28:38):
we're a part of that organism. So how important is
it that we start with ourselves first so that we
can put that oxygen mask on and be able to
affect the rest of the world and get involved.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
Oh, thank you so much. That was really well said.
And this book. I love the fact that you went
back and talked about when all these studies came, how
old this book is, and the fact that now that
those heart officers are actually in place, because this particular
book talks about how it wasn't accepted in corporations to

(29:15):
begin with, and people didn't see the importance of bringing
this into their work. And now how you know, twenty
twenty five years later, it's becoming a core piece of
what all of these businesses are all about. So so

(29:37):
as we move on now, what we want to.

Speaker 6 (29:39):
Talk about there.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
What we want to talk about now is going back
to a couple of these processes that we've learned in
this that people can use, and those in particular were
the first one which was freeze frame, the second one
which was cut through, and the third one that is
a heart lock in. And I'm going to begin by

(30:09):
sharing a little bit about the heart lock in because
the heart lock in actually is the piece where we
keep ourselves very heart centered. It's the place where we
can find the power in our heart and when we
recognize one of the teachings in this book was that

(30:30):
the heart is the strongest frequency, and the strongest frequency
is what other frequencies will entrain to. So if the
heart is the strongest frequency in the body, the rest
of the body will entrain to it, and we will
also when we project out we project out a strong frequency,

(30:51):
others will become and trained with us as well. So
in practicing the heart lock in, what we want to
do is we want to sit close our eyes, try
and relax. We want to shift our mind from our
brain and all the little thoughts that are there, but
bring our focus down to the heart, to the area

(31:14):
around the heart, and we want to imagine that we're
breathing slowly in and out through the heart. We do
that for about ten or fifteen seconds, and then we
bring in someone that we love, that feeling of love
and connection, or someone that we really or something we

(31:37):
really appreciate, bringing in that really strong positive energy into
our system, and we want to stay and breathe that
for five to fifteen minutes. This creates a powerful entrainment
in our bodies. And while we're in that place of love,

(32:02):
we're in that place of caring, and we're feeling it's
so important we're feeling this love. We can begin to
project this love out to people, to situations, we can
bring it, we can send it out to different places

(32:27):
ourselves especially, we can focus on ourselves and send this
love and appreciation to different parts of our body for healing.
And if we feel too blocked or our mind starts chattering,
just bring your attention gently back to your heart. Just

(32:48):
bring it back to that heart. Breath again, breathing in
and out through the heart, bring back that feeling of
love and appreciation, and just canntinue with this process. And
when you feel that softness, that relaxation, or when your

(33:09):
time has come to completion and you need to stop.
You might want to take a couple minutes just to
jot down some things that came to you, thoughts that
were there new AHA moments, because as we learned, the
heart is where our intuition, the heart is where the
messages come through, and so we may find solutions, we

(33:32):
may find new AHA moments. So that's the practice of
the heart lock in. This is all about keeping yourself
really locked into that heart power, that heart intelligence, and
being able to use it all the time. And you
don't have to just do this one today. You can
do this as many times during the day as you want.

(33:54):
So now we're going to move to another practice, which
is freeze frame, and Gabrielle is going to talk to
us or teach us how to do the freeze frame.

Speaker 3 (34:04):
Absolutely, the freeze frame is really a heartmath tool that's
designed to provide us with internal self management so we
reduce actually the the or neutralize even our automatic responses.
We want to focus our attention from the mind with

(34:26):
all its logic, to the heart and focus on a
positive emotion. What that will do is it will actually
release stress. We can even do it as a preventative
measure measure, we will manage our reactions and maybe able
to respond actually the way we want to respond better,

(34:50):
and it gives us new perspective if we're open to it,
so we can enhance our creative thinking, our planning, and
on the side, it actually improves health and well being
because the reduction of stress, of course, if we heard,
has an impact on our whole body system and our mind.

(35:10):
So what is the freeze frame? The freeze frame is
where you may have a problem or an issue and
some feelings about it, which probably happens to all of
us many times throughout the day. So we're asked here
to take some time out, just take a moment, and
it's called freeze frame because we want to stop that

(35:32):
frame in your life that you're writing and look at
it and consider it it. Then you focus your attention
in the area of your heart sort of slightly left
off the bottom of your ribcage. You may want to
put your hand there if that feels really good to you,
and you can either focus your attention on it, or
you can even envisage that you're breathing in and out

(35:55):
through the heart whatever works best for you, and maybe
breathe a little slower than usual if you can, but otherwise,
just stay in your normal rhythm and do that for
about ten seconds or more whatever feels good for you.
Then you find a regenerative feeling, like a feeling of appreciation,

(36:18):
of care, of joy, of love, of gratitude that's related
to an event in your life, or you can imagine
someone or something and just hold that feeling. And as
we know, you know, any feeling we hold affects every
single cell of our body. So now you have added

(36:39):
more coherence to your system already feel it. Sit in
that feeling, the heart, the feeling, the positive feeling you have,
and then allow yourself to come back and ask what
would be a more efficient or effective way, or so

(37:00):
shouldn't do what my problem was, and just allow allow
things to unfold and see whether any feelings or and
any thoughts come up. You know, any new insight. You know,
remembering the inside is our underlying truth, our clear understanding

(37:21):
and new awareness. Journal if you desire, write some things down,
and then sometimes things come straight away, sometimes they don't.
Don't be disheartened by that. They may come later, but
observe what comes and act on it. That is a
really important part and using it is try four to

(37:44):
five times a day, but transition times are really great
to use it, like in breaks, for example, in between
home and work, and work and home, maybe before or
after difficult conversations. And I would recommend it doing it
in the morning and at night. It often helps people
I've noticed to go to sleep, and if you need

(38:06):
to sit, remind us throughout the day in practice, because
practice will make the master, and you might just live
with a heart rather than have to remind yourself of it.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
Thank you so much, Gabrielle. Yeah, the difference between this
freeze frame and the heart lock in really is that
the freeze frame is helping you like stop the chatter,
jump into the heart, be there with it, find your
solutions or your answers, and be able to move right back.

Speaker 6 (38:37):
In instead of the heart lock in, where you're really working
on creating that heart centered space in you all the
time so you can be entrained to it and live
from that place.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
And now we're going to go to Marianne and let
her share the cut through technique, which has a completely
different purpose as well.

Speaker 3 (39:02):
Yeah, the cut.

Speaker 4 (39:03):
Through is more about going into the deeper emotions and
clearing some things that are maybe a little bit harder
to access and maybe even take a little bit longer,
So it gives you a lot of room to really
allow some feelings just to come up at a deeper level.
And so it's good to start the process with a

(39:26):
little bit of journaling. So just become aware at the
issue at hand, and if you write that up. They've
given some worksheets in the book that I actually went
and printed off, so you can you can actually write
in them, and you can write about the issue at hand,
and then after you've done that, focus on your heart
and your solar plexus, So breathe in love and appreciation

(39:50):
through the area for about ten seconds and just anchor
your attention there and then start to get into a
position of object activity about what you're feeling and what
the issue is. And that means it's so think about
it as though if someone else's problem, and just rest
in a neutral heart, a sort of rational, mature heart,

(40:15):
and soak up and relax any of the disturbed feelings
into the compassion of the heart. And this could take
a while, so they haven't put any kind of time
on this step, so just take as long as it
takes basically just to sit in the feelings of the
heart and dissolve any other feelings into that. And then

(40:38):
after all of that you can ask for some guidance,
and if you don't get any answers at all, you
can find something to appreciate for a while again and
then ask for some guidance again. So that's pretty much
they cut through technique.

Speaker 2 (40:57):
Oh, thank you so much. So that's one specific he
deals with working with emotions that come up, and some
of them can be buried quite deep. You might find
yourself in a reactive situation instead of being able to
pause and take action where you really do need to
reflect on those emotions that are there. It's an absolutely

(41:22):
fantastic technique. So again we've got Fruz frame, which helps
us calm ourselves, find answers and solutions, get ourselves really
centered to be able to work and do things. We've
got the cut through to look at all the emotions
that are coming up that we can really key in
on and work through. And then the lock in which

(41:44):
is allowing us to live from those core heart feelings
and begins to create that really strong signal from the
heart that we can send to ourselves into others as well.
So those are the three main techniques in this book
that are super powerful, and we definitely want to recommend

(42:05):
that people go get the Heartmouth Solution that this book
is life changing. It helps you with stress hormones, it
helps you with your communication, it helps you in work
situations and in the world. And I would I want
to go back to the co host now and see

(42:27):
if they have some comments about how can you use
this with your life purpose in the world, in your community,
in your every day anybody have any thoughts on how
they would like to use these techniques or an important
part of the book that you felt really stood out
for you.

Speaker 4 (42:49):
It really feels is Marian from Melvine astraight, it feels
like we could use these techniques in every area of
life pretty much. I mean, what emotion don't you want
to work through if it's a draining one, and what
situations don't you have questions about that you want some
like our Wise Guide to help you find the answer.
And it's so amazing that the Wise Guide is internal

(43:14):
and that all we need to do is go and
sit and focus so that the answers can emerge. And
sometimes the answers can be so simple, but so clear
when it comes from the heart. So like situations at work,
let's say conflict and with staff members or colleagues at work,
you could quickly do a free sprame technique just to

(43:35):
help find a solution to that situation and see is
there are a way that we can work through this
and see what the heart says about it. Well, let's
say you're dealing with some really big emotions, like you've
had like a longstanding pattern that's really emotionally distressing, and
there's not a quick solution to it, but something you

(43:58):
just want to resolve those emotions. You've felt rejected your
whole life or anything. So just big emotions, you could
sit in the cut through technique and really just allow
those emotions to transmute in the love of the heart.
And I believe the lock in is really good for
getting the habit of positive emotion. So I think people

(44:22):
want to As a psychologist, I notice, you know, people
want to talk about their pain and suffering, and I
totally get it. I mean, we want solution to the
pain and suffering, but some of the solution is actually
simply getting into the habit of feeling good. You know,
we're biologically wired to feel bad and then practice that
and then it's just a habit. So sometimes it's less

(44:44):
talking and more doing, and the doing is just practice
feeling good. And I think the lock in technique is
really helpful for that.

Speaker 2 (44:54):
I completely agree with that. It's amazing when you get
when you can talk to somebody and you can share
this with them and all of a sudden they're just like, oh, yeah,
I feel so much better now that I've done this
one time. I want to do this more. But it
is it's a change of perception from looking at things

(45:15):
on the like the glass half full or half empty,
to the glass half full, or you know, looking at
that more positive side of everything. And when we can
I always remember grandmother doing a stop change with us,
where if we started going too much to that negative
or whatever, you had an agreement with someone that they

(45:37):
could go stop change and it stopped you and you
a lot of times we don't even recognize that we're
going to that place. And this is actually a tool
that you can use to strengthen yourself but also do
your own kind of stop change when you notice that
your mind's going crazy, or your feeling stressy, or you've

(46:00):
got a difficult thing coming up, and you need to
work with it. So I love these techniques that are
in here. And is there another co host that would
like to say something nicely, Gabrielle.

Speaker 3 (46:13):
I really love these techniques and I'm practicing them. I'm
getting better. Well, what I love is really it gives
us the power to do two things is to come
away from our logical mind that makes decisions on what's
based in our memory, in our brain and our experience
with its valuable, absolutely is. But they're quite linear cognitive

(46:38):
process and it takes us, any of these techniques take
us out into our instinct that we still have. We
still have an instinct. It gives us inside and intuition,
and it's like a knowing, a knowing that we touch
in and it is just so beautiful to pair that

(46:58):
knowing with logic we have and then make decisions, you know,
like it's almost like we're leaving a part out if
we don't go there, if we don't go to the heart,
and especially you know, the locking technique. I feel the
other part is we just get our out of our
own rumination and perspective and turmoil that sometimes issues or

(47:21):
conversations or encounters with people create and we step out
of them and we kind of get our over ourselves,
which grandmother someone sometimes says, and we can, like especially
like with a hard lock in, we can just focus
on love and appreciation and empathy for other people, and

(47:42):
that gives us such a piece because we're not caught
up inside and knowing that all these techniques. When we
change and allow ourselves to self manage our emotional and
mental reactions and become responsive to what is true to us,
what's our truth, which is very very different to being reactive,

(48:07):
we can manage our lives better, We feel more in control,
we can be more aligned with the purpose in our lives,
and like in chapter thirteen, that we can become co
creators of our life rather than things happening to us
and we are victims. So the main point too that
I want to make is that we know now that

(48:31):
what happens in us, our feelings, our thoughts affect everyone
around us. So why not start every day with a
hard practice and start being less stressed, embrace the day,
allow for the flow, and also see the effects not

(48:52):
on our families or people we live with, our workplaces,
but to the world as a whole, and I feel
that is a great personal responsibility in a way we
have as well.

Speaker 2 (49:04):
Absolutely we're the only one that's in charge of ourselves,
and so no one else is no one else can
change things for us, do things different for us. It's
up to us. And so appreciate you sharing all that
because moving in to our day with that heart feeling
and with the appreciation for things and creating our day

(49:26):
because you brought up that chapter thirteen says you know
we can be creators co creators. Well we are every day.
It's like, but what kind of perception do you want
to use in creating your day? Do you want to
be on that amazing flow side or do you want
to go the other way? And I think most of
us would rather be on that loving, creating, caring flow side.

(49:52):
And Mary Smith, do you have something you want to add?
I see you there?

Speaker 3 (49:55):
Do I do?

Speaker 5 (49:57):
And this book really is a manual, just like Mary Anne,
that applies to every aspect at the Ageloon Society, anywhere
in our lives. And I had an experience the other
day I shared this with some others where I heard
a voice saying Hellowell, and I thought, because it didn't
sound like a really friendly voice. And I stepped out

(50:18):
of my office and looked at the front door, and
I'm the only one in the building, and there was
a gentleman there who was fairly large and looked a
little disheveled, and his eyes were sort of wild and challenging.
My first reaction I've had military training was to be
on guard and going to fight and flight, and you know,

(50:38):
what do I have to handle here? Do I have
to keep him out of the office? But I had
this little voice that was saying, go through your heart,
go through your heart. What are you really seeing feeling?
What's this person really needing? And by listening to that,
and you know, in action, trying to breathe in my
heart having some success, we said, And because there was

(51:02):
a communication and the connection that happened, he was able
to relax and open up. And there is this beautiful
being that was sitting there. And I realize that, as
I mentioned earlier, there's a responsibility for doing it for ourselves.
There's also we could be sitting on the mountain meditating,

(51:26):
but we can also be actively going into city councils,
into government, into corporate networks, into all kinds of areas
and not only just being there breathing, but introducing, Hey,
what about considering doing it this way? Have you heard
about this? So I'm seeing I mean it's been mentioned

(51:48):
to me before, but I'm seeing how a really practical
application of doing this that really helps Like that gentleman
who came off the street, it doesn't fit anywhere else,
but could benefit millions of people from who he is.
So that's what he wanted to shoot.

Speaker 2 (52:08):
Oh that's beautiful. It made me think of, you know,
just how many times we do come into situations like
that where our first thoughts are kind of judgmental just
by the way that they look, or you know, or
old fears that we have, And then if we do
drop into the heart, if we do open up to them,

(52:29):
how incredibly beautiful it becomes. And I was thinking of
practical ways that, you know, we could use this, like
if you do you brought up going to city councils
or going to government or whatever, And if we took
the time before we went to speak, and we really
sat and tapped into the heart intelligence that was there

(52:52):
and use that heart lock and approached the microphone with
this amazing heart power, how many people can we train
to that energy of our heart, when we're really speaking
from the heart, instead of just going off the little

(53:12):
notes on our page or being combative or going in
there trying to demand something. What if we do walk
in and we settle ourselves in our heart first, and
we create that field around us when we realize that
everything is energy and everything is frequency, and we emit

(53:35):
these things and other people pick up on them. If
we're sharing that feeling of love and care, how would
people respond? And I truly believe that people will respond
in a way that is opening and much more cooperative.
And as you found, Mary, in your with this gentleman

(54:01):
that you came in contact with, it was beautiful and
it was really enriching, not just for him but for
you as well. So we have a couple more minutes
that we can add. If you can think of any
other ways of using these techniques, or if you have
something really positive you want to say about the book

(54:21):
to encourage our listeners to go and get it, we
can kind of go around and allow everybody to have
a thought. Maryanne Love, I see that you're weaving at me.

Speaker 4 (54:33):
Yeah, I just wanted to add to I was excited
by what you're by saying, because I think just tuning
into the fact we broadcast at all times is something
we forget often. I think we worry about what we're
going to say and how that impacts, but actually do
we take responsibility for how we feel and how that
impact impacts. So if I walk into the office stressed

(54:57):
or annoyed or angry, how does that impact even if
I'm smiling and acting pleasant, How do those underlying feelings
impact my team or the people I work with, or
the broader community. So looking at like the science of
actually how energy emanates from the heart loudly, much big,

(55:18):
larger area than the brain broadcast. And then therefore our
responsibility is you know, just that statement. As I lift myself,
I lift all others, so I'll impact everybody around me.
And the other thing I was thinking about, like, sometimes
you go through challenging situations in work or family or friends,

(55:41):
and you can feel like all kinds of judgments coming
your way about what's going on in the situation. And
I noticed, if you can stay in this sort of
heart place, the heart place has room for their judgment
without taking it on board. It has no real need
for others to be different too different. It has more

(56:03):
the need to share the love that's there. And I
was just thinking more about that as I've practice these
things and love develops more strongly, just how it's much
easier to let go of our demands of others how
we think they should be and should act, and we

(56:24):
have all this story about how we want this perfect
world to look like. And I've always looked at grandmother's
example of just allowing people to be, but also educating
and giving people options of change, and I've always thought
that's amazing to be able to really do that well.
And one of the power weapons I think in that

(56:44):
is actually love.

Speaker 2 (56:45):
Love does that, it does, and we all have.

Speaker 4 (56:49):
Access to that in our heart. It's just a practice,
not something privileged to one person and not another. It's
a privilege of all of us with a beating heart.

Speaker 2 (57:00):
It really is. And this particular book, Heart Mouth Solution,
not only you can go online to their site. They
have all kinds of meditations, workshop things you can go to.
But if we truly want to change the world, this
is one avenue that we can use to begin to

(57:21):
share that love that you're talking about, Marianne, that you
know it gave us some good tools to learn how
to start sharing that. Gabrielle, you got a minute, you
want to share something to do I do.

Speaker 3 (57:32):
I just want to say that, you know, just going
to the heart and having the power of more control
over our reactions and being able to respond, and just
even coming to a place of neutral We don't have
to be totally elated, you know when that happens, but
just a neutral place can give such an sense of relief.
And I've seen it in others too, and really giving

(57:56):
everyone the tools that I see in like in my workplace,
in my family, everyone I meet and they're all really impressed,
and especially children. There are children are natural with it.
So if you have children, teach them, you know, the
heart lock in or whatever you prefer. And also I
found in my own practice that practicing it more and more,

(58:20):
I actually stay with the heart more naturally. It just
comes to me like when things happen, I just go
to my heart automatically, which is really a powerful experience
for me. And like others have said, you know, the
responsibility that we have to bring coherence to the world
and to bring harmony to the world, the responsibility that
we have by getting ourselves right is powerful and I'm

(58:44):
taking that on and I hope you do too.

Speaker 2 (58:47):
Oh fabulous, that's wonderful. I definitely resonate with the children
because they're just when they're little, they're just like little
walking hearts. They're so sweet. And just to remind all
the listeners too, this is a scientific proven program. This
is something they've been studying now for about thirty years,

(59:08):
and there's science behind this. They know how it works
in the body, and they know how we emanate. So
really check this out. And Mary, do you have one
last little comment you would like to.

And that's something that these tools have given me more
