Here's Parisha.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Greetings and welcome to the Law of Attraction Radio Networks
Quantum Leep Book Club. Our host Parisha is a way
today traveling and teaching. So today we're going to be
talking with our co hosts Laway from Sydney, Australia. She
is a biologist and environmental biologist working really close to
(01:06):
the earth all the time. Then our other co host
today is Evelyn Ewalda. I always I always struggle with
your last name sometimes Yalda, and she's from Miami, Florida.
She's been an entrepreneur and teacher there for a long
time and I'm Trina Cooper. I've been a lifelong entrepreneur
(01:30):
living in Broomfield, Colorado, which is near Denver and Boulder, Colorado.
And Gabby Gabrielle Thompson and mary Anne Love are also
going to be are also doing other things this week,
so they will not be with us. So it's going
to be myself, Ela Way and Evelyn today. And today
(01:55):
we're going to be studying or starting a brand new
book which isn't really a brand new book. It's been
out for a while, but it definitely has huge impact
and the studies that have been happening over the years
have had huge impact too. The new book is called
The Heart Math Solution, and it is written by Doc
(02:18):
Childre and Howard Martin with Donna Beach, and this is
all about the work of Heartmath and how to use
some of the techniques that have been scientifically proven to
help and assist immediately lower stress hormones, raise anti aging
(02:40):
DHA hormone levels, improve your heart rate for maximum longevity,
maintain emotional clarity in the midst of chaos, and achieve
peakmental and intuitive performance. So we are just now beginning.
We just finished up the book about nonviolent community occasion,
(03:01):
and that really was learning how to speak from the heart.
So what better way to continue on with this is
to learn how to live from the heart, to learn
how to live with heart coherence and with some of
these techniques that have been developed over probably let's see
(03:22):
the last thirty years that we begin to understand that
our heart is more intelligent and is more important than
just an organ in our body. So I'm going to
begin today by letting Laway talk a little bit about
what she's discovered with this book and a little bit
(03:46):
of the background of the book.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
Absolutely. So the first thing is that the book is
based out coming out of the Heart Math Institute. Now,
this has been around for you know, when I say
a long time, I would say like a decade is
a long time in terms of our current scientific information
and how we start to move away from being so
(04:10):
logical based and being into even being able to discuss
things like heart and intuition on a scientific platform. But
they are very very open in acknowledging all ways that
through pretty much any culture you look at, there has
been a really strong reference to heart. And that could
(04:34):
be whether it's the Heart Center thinking or follow your Heart,
or any of those that heart intuition anything like that.
When we look far enough down our own lineages, it's there.
So what we're talking about here is a I'll use
the word rediscovery or that we're starting to say, hey,
it's okay to talk about the heart and what we
(04:57):
look at as the feelings, the care et cetera. That's
associated with heart in a scientific forum. And when when
you ask why did they use the term heart math,
they use that to make it accessible. People have an
association with the word heart. It's quite noble. It's an
organ in the body. It's associated with feelings as well, love,
(05:22):
et cetera. And math. Again, it's a word that people
can relate to, and in that they've brought together the
concept that we're doing a science, we're actually measuring and
there's a lot of measurement that goes in through the
Heart Math Institute. So if you've got no knowledge of
it all, I recommend even just looking at a couple
(05:44):
of the videos. There's like two three minute videos, fifteen
minute videos interviewing. But the common thing throughout it is
through what they've been looking at and testing. So thousands
of people apply a particular technique which is the math
and see the outcome. And from that there's been techniques developed,
(06:05):
there's been little tools developed, and always there's a science.
So the science, for example, looks a lot into what
they call heart rate variability, and that's that the heart
doesn't just go boom, boom boom completely the same all
the time like a machine. It has variability in that
and then they've been able to correlate things like what
(06:25):
does that variability tell us? And without going too much
into the science, the variability is telling us about that
interaction between the part of ourselves that biologically just works
our breathing, our digestion, etc. And the part of ourself
which is where we consciously say, you know, I'm going
to pick up that cup or I'm going to go
(06:47):
for a run. So those two systems are different, and
the difference there that ability to talk to each other
and how well they relate is measured through that heart
rate variability. And a more heart rate variability, the greater
one's ability to manage stresses. And in my final part,
I want to say that one of the reasons this
(07:08):
book is so applicable in this modern age is because
of the simple word stress. That's what there are so
many other things in there. There's so much in this book.
There could be that you relate to animals, it could
be how you have feelings, how you have intuition. But
(07:29):
the part I'm just going to mention is stress because
I do see it a lot as a business person
as well, and people who have a situation or who
aren't thinking particularly clearly. You know when you go to sea, oh,
we do a disciplinary action here, someone's really goofing off.
Nine times out of ten, there's something underlying that's causing
(07:49):
a stress. The stress is then impairing their mental ability,
and it's impairing the mental ability because their heart, the
feeling is impaired. So when we are in a place
of good feeling, good information coming from our heart, good
chemistry in our body, then we're more resilient. So irrespective,
(08:15):
it's not saying we've got to make the outside world calm,
How resilient are you within whatever place you find? And
that's what this book absolutely can provide.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
That's fabulous all away. I think looking at this book too,
and I know some of us have sat through heart
mouth presentations and sessions and things with it, but finding
that correlation between the heart and the brain. Finding that
connection and getting them to work and respond to our
(08:52):
highest good. It's something that's really really important. And when
I was looking at some of this, it says the
heart math purpose and vision is to help awaken the
heart of humanity. A global shift is underway and more
people are sensing it involves a deeper connection with the heart.
(09:13):
This desire for more heart connection is growing movement, one
that people are drawn to by a nudge from their
own intuition or conscience to listen to their heart more
and to connect with their inner guidance. So I love
that you brought in some of this science, and I
know we'll get into more of that as we get
into the book too. But this really system really is
(09:36):
about connecting the heart and the mind, and that's something
we need to learn how to do. We can't run
from the mind all the time without that stress that
you talked about. So this is going to be I
think this is a book that can be applied now.
Even though it was written back in nineteen ninety nine,
(09:57):
some of this it is just as relevant today as
it ever was. So Evelyn, do you have something that
you would like to say about the book and the
research you've done on it.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
Hi. Yes, this is Evelyn from Miami, Florida. I think
that this is such a great book to follow up
the last book that we just finished. As you had
mentioned before, you know, our previous book was teaching us
about the love language, and this is I feel I
was going to start teaching us how to integrate all
(10:29):
that love language into ourselves in our world and the
world at large. To be exact, tart Math has been
around since nineteen ninety one, so we're talking about thirty
six years already. So these people are like they're pioneers
of this work, which is amazing. And what I'm really
(10:52):
getting excited about just seeing in the forward and the
introduction is knowing how they're bringing the science part to
all this emotional stuff, because I feelways sometimes get so
lost into the emotions and this and the let's be loved,
you know, and pray and all this stuff, and we
(11:13):
sometimes ge away from that scientific and I think heart
Math is something that really bridges both of those things
together in such a beautiful way. And even more importantly,
knowing about the heart that it's not just a pump
that's in our body, but also bringing in how the
emotions and the feelings, how it has an overall effect
(11:36):
on our health. I think that is so important, especially
as it was since dating before was stress. We're living
in such a stressful world these days, not only because
of finances but politically. I mean all of the above,
you could check all of it. So I think this
work is so important right now. And I did go
(11:58):
on their website to check them out a little bit
more and just and I'm so glad you read that before.
You know, the thing that got me was that their
cause is awakening the heart of humanity. That is such
a great tagline I was when I read that, It
was like, wow, you know, that is pretty awesome. And
(12:19):
what also got my attention and reading their cause was
that they research and develop reliable, scientific based tools that
bridge the connection between heart and mind and deeper understanding
of all of that, so that they bring us tools,
they bring us a good education and background. I'm excited
(12:40):
about this book. I think we're going to be able
to get a lot out of it.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
That's awesome, Evel and I totally agree with you on that,
because you know, and as Elway was sharing too, sometimes
we say things like oh, I could just so feel
it in my heart or you know, it just made
my heart explode, or it made my heart jump, or
I feel a deep sadness in my heart. We're constantly
(13:06):
connecting those emotions all the time, and we're talking about
having you know, it's almost like it's the organ. It's
the heart. Well, science talks about it like a pump
with the veins being like pipes and sending the you know,
sending the blood through the veins and stuff. But it
really does seem to be that as human beings, we
(13:27):
connect that feeling all the time. And I love their
purpose and the fact that this works. Some of this
is this heart brain connection. And I started doing a
little bit of research myself on this, and I found
it really interesting that the two authors here, Doc Childre
(13:50):
and Martin. Let's see what's his name here, Howard Martin,
who were two of the founders that came together to this,
were both musicians. And I know with musicians, musicians have
that sense that feeling and the sound that they do
(14:10):
brings it out in them. And so Doc Childre actually
was serving in the National Guard, but he was the
son of Doc lu Childre, a grand old Opry star.
So he grew up with this music in his life,
and as he was growing up in his early twenties,
(14:32):
he had some health problems that caused him to look
for alternative treatments that and he began researching stress. And
as he began to research stress, he came up with
some theories and experiments on how the right sounds can
help align a person's heart and mind energies. And for example,
(14:54):
he would look at Ekg's and the blood pressure subject
of some subjects and things, and when they listened to
various sounds, and he wondered, can you actually tailor's sounds
to invoke certain responses. So a lot of the people
like he released a commercial music called heart Zones in
ninety two, and a lot of the people, including some
(15:19):
of his sounds sounded like Pink Floyd's music meets Kenny
g Is the way they described it, and the moody blues.
But a lot of the researchers didn't. They were really
skeptical about what he did. And so he went on
to kind of align himself with some other people to
begin to create this idea of the heart resonance, the
(15:44):
heart coherence, and the other author Howard Martin also met
met he was a musician also, and he began to
connect in on this idea and he met with doc
(16:04):
children and they started on this passion. This life long. Really,
when you think about it being on, as you say,
thirty six years, that's a lifetime passion of exploring this
connection with our heart and our feelings and can we
actually begin to create a coherence that helps keep us
(16:27):
healthier and that helps it helps us in so many ways.
And I know I've met with a lot of different
sound healers who totally agree with everything that heart Mauth
has been putting out in the fact that when you
listen to certain kinds of music and your body kind
(16:47):
of becomes connected to it or entrained to it, you
can change that blood pressure, you can change the heartbeat.
We learn that working with grandmother Parisha using the drums,
the drum beat is definitely one that can help us
pull together that more coherent sound. And if something is
(17:09):
very staticky, it will respond in one way. And when
it's this rhythmic movement beat, we all as humans respond
to it. So I was wondering if any of you
had done any more research on Heartmuth, or if you
had something else that you wanted to add along the
coherence line or the history of what's going on or
(17:34):
maybe where they're at right now today.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
Well sure, oh yeah, you got.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
Oh no, I was just going to comment on your
whole thing with the with the music as a sound header.
I am a sound healer and I am a musician,
a trade musician since I was young. Well as what
we have learned both grandmother. The drum is the heartbeat
of the earth, so it does connect us to our hearts.
So that's death and it's actually one of our most
(18:01):
primal instruments known to man. It's one of the first ones,
so it's very much has that connection and it brings
that rhythm just really comes the heartbeats, it changes it,
it could bring it up or it could bring it down,
and it's one of those instruments great and each instrument, actually,
(18:23):
I feel and what I've noticed, has different impact on
different parts of our bodies. Just so like the sound
bowls that are used in sound healing. It depends on
the note, and it depends if you're using either the
ports or their metal. It all of it has a
different impact. So that all of that is amazing, and
(18:46):
these are tools that are brought to us to again
once again help with the heart, to slow it down,
to help us distressed, to help us bring that calmness
and stillness that we need in such a stressful world
that we live in. So that these people here at
Heartmouth are bringing that. But with the scientific background, the
(19:11):
research that is so greatly needed is it's really really exciting.
Speaker 3 (19:17):
All good and as we've said, you know, this is
from the early nineties. The work by children started in
the nineteen eighties where he was working with large companies
in particular and others, but with that main focus of saying,
once your heart and your mind are in coherence with
(19:39):
each other, that's in unison, then a whole lot of
other good benefits occur, which is what you've just shared.
So probably three years ago I got one of one
of them. He's an author of many books and also
inventions once called the EMA and this is heart Mind
(20:02):
Coherence and I've had one for about three years and
I find it very interesting when I wear it's very simple.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
You put it on.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
And you have a little It goes onto your phone,
talks to your phone and will just show you and
it's color coded so you either know your heart and
your mind, your emotions are coherent or they're not. And
the interesting thing is, once you've got something measuring it,
(20:33):
then you look to see the different things that you
can do to bring it into coherence. And it's fascinating
how the simple use of breath can get you out
of the red zone and into the green zone. So
the whole thing about the Heart Math Institute and the
number of books, including the one that we're looking at here,
(20:54):
is that it's about bringing simple things that we can
do because our body already has these medical we'll call
them medical solutions. It already has the solutions to read
a balance where we're at. So that em wave, yeah,
(21:17):
I'd recommend it. I'd recommend I'd recommend it because I've
used it, I've watched it, and I've seen what happens
when you apply the point that we were talking about
with cortisoles before, And why would this be important to
even think about, Okay, having my heart and mind in
coherence when it's not. The cortisol levels are higher now.
(21:40):
Cortisol is a hormone. It's often called the stress hormone.
Cortisol's responsible one of the many things responsible for the
regulation of blood pressure, the regulation of how we use glucose,
that's sugars, the regulares of how we use protein, the
(22:01):
regulation of how we use fats, and it's produced in
the adrenal glance. So when we do something as simple
as use an em wave or use a technique. This
book is full of techniques. So it'd be great to
listen use a technique to bring back what we're calling coherence,
which is that communication between the heart and the mind.
(22:24):
We then have effect positive effect on all of those things.
And if you ask in the world today, where are
things like diabetes, like stresses, any of those illnesses related
to stresses, and there are so many that they say, oh,
(22:46):
stress increases your risk of ABCD. Now, the other part
that I wanted to mention too, is that they're now
in the more recent times looking Okay, we know that
the electro the heart has an electromagnetic field, so does
the mind. The hearts is the most powerful when a
(23:07):
person starts to regulate well in this coherence between heart
and mind, which you will see in the book, they
will give you those pieces of information. And if you
do the research behind the people who put this together,
the scientist heart Math Institute has a large advisory body
of scientists. So what they're looking at is measuring these
(23:28):
electromagnetic fields in individuals and also now they're measuring the
resonance or we can say the frequency around the Earth.
With that question that the hypothesis they've put forward is
as the number of individuals who are regulating well increases,
(23:52):
we will see that shift in the when we're picking
up the frequencies around the planet itself. Now that's not
new information. We've seen that as well through doctor Joe
Despenser's work when they've done mass meditations. We know about
it historically through many cultures who will do prayers, who'll
do particular days of fasts and prayers, and any of
(24:15):
those can have are known to have effect. This is
bringing it into that Western science way of measuring. So
even if you want to say, well, we need peace
in the world and the enjoy in the world, this
work is showing the tools for us to bring it
into ourselves.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
That's really a great background too, because we're using some
ideas and concepts and I know right now I'm doing
a lot of work with frequencies and sound and vibration
and the use on on creating balance in the body.
So the body literally heals itself. Little clinic now that
(25:02):
we've been working in and we're finding that this resonance
is so important. The way that people connect in or
can feel can feel that piece and can feel that balance.
It so contributes to the ability for the body to heal. Now,
I wanted to do a couple little word clears here
(25:23):
while we are talking about it, because one of the
things that we talk about has been the word coherence,
and they talk about a brief history of heart coherence research.
This is what the Institute of Heartmouth is known for
and they are the ones that really started this research.
So it's about the focus of this coherence between the
(25:48):
heart and brain and the other systems and the body.
So the word coherence is a logical connectedness, internal order,
or harmony among the components of a Now what's cool
about this book is that at the back, it's got
a glossary in the back of it, so you can
actually go to the glossary and look up the terms
if you're not really clear with what they are, and
(26:12):
it says this term can also refer to the tendency
toward increased order in the informational content of a system
or in the informational flow between systems. So I know
we've talked many times on the show about the neural
net creating a neuropathway, about the way the signals go out,
(26:33):
about Eliway was just talking about the creation of the
different hormones and chemicals in the body that and especially
from the adrenal glands, and what our body produces as
we go under stress or when we get tired, all
of those things. This is talking about the fact that
there's supposed to be a balanced flow of these things,
(26:55):
and when we get too stress that's not necessarily happening. Also,
it says in here that when a system is coherent,
virtually no energy is wasted because of the internal synchronization
among the parts. So we spend a lot of energy
(27:15):
when we're under stress and when it's an important time,
like we need to defend ourselves or we have to
react to something that's an okay thing, and our body
will come back into violence. But when we're just stressing
because we've got too much going on, that tax is
our system and that's not something there's not a coherence there,
(27:37):
there's not a good flow, and it becomes too much
on our bodies and we need to begin to heal it.
Another term that is used a lot here is called
heart brain and trainment, and this is a state in
which very low frequency brain waves and heart rhythms are
(28:01):
frequently locked, that is entrained. So the frequency of the
brain and the rhythm of the heart create a very
very connected pattern. And this phenomena has been associated with
significant shifts in perception and heightened intuitive awareness. So when
(28:21):
we go into those deeper brain states, we actually reach
higher higher consciousness. We can move into higher consciousness by
using this. Another term that they use in here is
heart intelligence, and that's one piece they talk about a
(28:43):
lot is the intelligent heart. So heart intelligence is a
term coined to express the concept of the heart as
an intelligence system with the power to bring both the
emotional and the mental systems into balance and coherence. So
our heart is key in this, and we feel with
(29:05):
the heart, and we also can think through the heart.
As grandmother has talked about many times, the heart is
also a brain, and that we also create balance and coherence.
We really get a sense of intuition when when we
come through the heart. So those were a couple of
(29:25):
the terms that I wanted to share, and I'm wondering
if anyone wants to cover a little bit the table
of contents, what we're going to cover in this book,
what they're going to be looking at, or any other
comments to what's been brought forward to so far.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
Delay that, yes, I guess that. Comments in terms of
the book itself is one is get the heart copy
if you can. It's also an audible. But the key
thing about is is to know that this really is
an action book, so as we go through it each week,
(30:07):
it does help us know what we can do. So
in that way minutes of doing book and as it says,
it'll help us reduce stress, which includes the impact on hormones,
it helps raise anti aging hormones, which again, when you
look more into this, you'll find out that what's really
(30:28):
going on there is when we stress, we are diverting
energy to flight or fight. So that's our cortisoles and
a whole lot of other chemicals going on. And if
we're doing that, it diverts it from healing, It diverts
it from what we call anti aging, from the rejuvenation
(30:52):
let's call it that instead of anti aging. So as
you go through Chapter one's going to look at the
brain and the intelligence of the heart. Chapter two the
Ultimate Partnership, and again brain and Heart. Then we'll go
to part three, which will be assessing the heart's intelligence.
And again here there's four chapters in there that will
(31:15):
take us through the role of the heart. And within
these I know they also have exercises, so we'll be
right into it quite quickly. Part three the advanced heart intelligence.
So that's understanding as they're saying the mystery of emotion
or as we've learnt that word energy and motion, and
(31:36):
when we can understand again from the scientific perspective, what
makes emotion and emotion is a thing. It's an actual particle.
If you've felt it, it's a particle that's been made
in your body. So we go through some of that
and how knowing that we can change the emotions that
(31:56):
get created, and that's part of what gets covered more
in chapter nine, the cut through to emotional maturity and
that real look at what is emotional maturity. When are
we being run by our thoughts, which are creating emotions,
which are creating outcomes. When are we being influenced by
(32:18):
our emotions that have come from habits that have been
created in our bodies which are then creating more thoughts
and you get this feedback mechanism. So how to cut
through all of that as well. And then we're in
the final part part four, we'll be looking at social
hard intelligence and that's we love this one too. That's
you know, that relationship between families and children and also
(32:41):
pets in this where we can see the resonance of
the heart and how you have in trainment or coming
into you know that like it's being mentioned the drumming
that goes together that you come into a similar phase
with people in your family and for people have pets
(33:02):
and one person one of the you know, one of
the key people in that dog's family, for example, will
bark will be no before that person comes back. That
it's not just an intuition there is they can sense
there is a sensing potentially of the electromagnetic field. And
they've shown again heart math institute the when a person
(33:26):
like we know equine therapy works, that's for many people,
that's people and horses and so what's going on there.
And again when they start to do the scientific measurement
of it, they'll see that the hearts are talking to
each other. So for those of you who see that
beautiful scene in Avatar where the past plugs their hair
into the the rein of the horse and they're they're
at one, there's a lot more real science in that
(33:49):
than what initially gets, you know, what we think of
when we may initially see it as a sci fi
sort of movie. So there's some of the key things
that will take us through the book finishing up in
the twenty first century Heart, where I can say right
(34:09):
now it is absolutely so much more than the pump
and the vessels that as Trina mentioned earlier that it
has been displayed as in the past.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
Yeah, thank you so much. Alloway that these pieces, the
way they build on this too, is really helping bring
an understanding about this coherence between the way we think
and the way we feel. And I remember getting very
frustrated sometimes because people would talk about body, mind and spirit,
(34:44):
and I always said, well, where's the emotion. The emotion
is kind of there and it drives a lot of things,
and why don't people talk about needing to balance this?
And I think this book steps into it, and the
work of Heart Mauth really steps into it. What they're finding.
And what's really cool about if you go on to
the Heart Math Institute website, you can see all the trainers,
(35:05):
the trainers, the research that they've done. You can see
you can become a certified trainer in this if you
want to. They are really trying to bring this out
into the whole world, and they've been working and researching
on this for so many years that it's just it's
incredible what they're bringing forward. And I do believe that
(35:26):
all the listeners here you need to go grab this book,
The Heart Math Solution, and begin to study this with us,
because what it's going to do is really help you
open up your heart and your understanding and your intuition
and your connections with what's going on around you and
(35:47):
what's going on inside of you. So this is really
an important book. I feel like it. And like Evelyn
had said before, it's a perfect, perfect follow up book
to the Nonviolent Commute Nication and the lovely words that
we learned from that book. Evelyn, do you have more
that you would like to add as well?
Speaker 4 (36:07):
Yes, so right smack. And the introduction of this book,
it starts talking about you know what the heart does,
and then they put it to put it in such
a simple word that they said that the heart, like
you just said, it's involved in understanding ourselves, the people,
and our life. So, as Eloe was saying before, this
(36:29):
is a doing book. So they're saying right off here
that even if you do just a fraction, a small
portion of what's being presented here in the book, we're
going to experience a profound shift and our perception and
in our emotions. That's so important in understanding ourselves. I feel,
you know, the more we start become having that emotional maturity,
(36:54):
the more that we perceive our life in a more
coherent place. And what I have experienced, and they're even
stating that here in the book that as that changes
happens in us, we're going to see the shift happen,
you know, all around us. So how we change ourselves
(37:17):
impacts has an impact on our families, on our friends,
on our society, our community. And I think that it's
part of that linking that they're talking about, how we
connect with heart to heart with one another. And this
is exactly what Heart Math Institute is about. It's about
(37:38):
teaching us the connection, teaching us truly that this heart
is not just this organ this that just pumps blood
and you know, helps us still alive. Know, there's a
lot more to it. There's actual and emotional connection through
our hearts to one another, and not only human to human,
(37:58):
but as Eloett was pointing it out before, even to animals,
to the plants around this, to our entire planet. So definitely,
you know, this is definitely a book that I feel
everybody should come and read. And it's also telling us
that the heart does have an intelligence that influences our
(38:22):
perceptions and that part of their research challenge has been
to see whether and how the philosophical and metaphorical heart
and the physical heart interact. So I'm really excited to
see what their research is to know more about it.
And one of the theories that they have is that the
(38:43):
heart links us to a higher intelligence through an intuitive
domain where the spirit and humanness merge together. That's awesome.
I mean that right there is body, mind and spirit,
and I think that is so exciting that and not
only that we're seeing it as what I say, you know,
(39:03):
the metaphysical way, but we have the science to back
it down. I think that's what makes it much more exciting.
At least to me, it does. So I'm really looking
forward to this.
Speaker 2 (39:17):
Thank you. I am too. And I was thinking as
you were talking about the when you talked about the
bulls and talking about the resonance of the sound. When
I play the balls for groups and things somewhat will
play like you don't. You really don't even need to
touch it because of the energy and the coherence that's
(39:38):
going on and other ones. It doesn't matter how many
times you try and work with it, it's not going
to play. It's not that it's like whoever's their their body,
their heart, whatever is not needing whatever that frequency is.
That So just experiencing those kinds of things, or when
you walk into a room and you can immediately feel
(40:04):
whether the energy is high or low or if there's
something going on, that sense that you have is incredible.
And that's the heart talking and it's talking to the brain.
It's telling the brain what's going on. So I think
it's really important. And I think what's great about this
(40:26):
and the research heart Math is doing and this particular book.
What they want to give you in this book, as
he explains in the intro, is that they're presenting three
types of information the concepts, tools and techniques, and a biomedical, psychological,
(40:47):
and social science research. So you're getting those three things,
and the combination of these elements provide a comprehensive system
for unlocking innate potential and achieving rapid personal, interpersonal and
social advancement. So they're giving us a lot of tools
(41:11):
in this book, not just the information, but things we
can use and work on with ourselves to teach ourselves
to be much more connected with others.
Speaker 4 (41:23):
And to add to what you were saying, it just
reminded me of something that you were just sharing about
the bulls. I had a store before, and I was
I'm a buyer, you know, I'm sure buyer practically. And
one of the things that I've learned, not only with
the bulls, but when I was looking for crystals and
stuff for the store, it's a matter of the bull.
(41:43):
You don't choose the bulls. The bulls choose you. Because
I have played so many bulls, and some of them,
when I'm trying them out and looking just for the
right one, it won't play. It won't play. And I
know that I'm doing it the same way that I
do all of them. And then some of them I
just touched the malt to it and it just starts humming,
(42:04):
and it's exactly that it's coming from the heart. I
so agree with you in that there is a certain
type of connection that you have to that because again
it's just a bow, but as an atom, so it
is a living thing. It is a thing, so there
is energy to it. So it's that connection of heart
(42:25):
to energy, even with this ananimate thing that makes such
a difference. And I think that as we start understanding
that in ourselves and we start trusting that, which I
think is so important. When we start learning how to
trust our heart, what our heart is saying, that we're
more coherent in our thoughts and in our perception that
(42:47):
we are able to sit and just sit there with
your heart and say, okay, what is this, you know,
what is it that I'm really feeling? What is it
that this thought is bringing to me? Is it coming
from my mind, child, or is it coming really from
the heart. And to start understanding that there is a
greater self trust that comes out of that, out of
(43:10):
those kinds of connections. And I think that this book
will definitely bring us those tools to help us have
that connection and have that trust, and once we have
that trust, we could definitely go out there and something
as simple as choosing a bull or a crystal or
whatever we want to you know, choose or do or
(43:30):
get or whatever. You know that it's the truth. It's
your truth because it's coming from the heart.
Speaker 2 (43:36):
That's that is so true. And I bet all the
way when you're out in the field and you're out
working with the plants in nature, and because of the
energy and the resonance that they have there, they speak
to you from the heart all the time. You you
get information and guidance all the time.
Speaker 3 (43:56):
Yes, yes, And it's it's not always. I mean my
work when I do ecology work is quite often to
be out there when we're changing the natural world to
facilitate the needs of the humans. So while there's the
(44:17):
beauty and the replanting and the caring for the natural
spaces and the big teams on ground and doing that,
there's also those times when you're in a forest or
you know, an area with big old trees and there's
more people being moved in so the trees are coming out,
and that's a you know that it's it's something that
(44:39):
you don't just say, well, I'll just turn on the
information when everything's lovely, and I'll turn it off when
I don't want to hear, you know, my feelings that
I am superimposing on the trees of sorrow or upset.
And I do remember one time asking Grandmother Parisher, what
you know for some guidance around when I'm with a
(45:01):
beautiful tree and I know it's going even that day
I'm on site when the trees come down, because it
can be you know, make sure there's no animals in them,
or to if there's hollows or some other habitat, to
collect that up and get it back into other forest areas.
And the strongest teaching was how to find beauty in everything.
(45:26):
Talk to the trees first, why is it happening? And
what's needed? Also for myself to get myself into a
good mental state of an offering of an appreciation of
the life. However it was for me that that was
needed and to be in that mind frame where I'm
not looking with a feeling of loss and you know, sadness.
(45:53):
And adding all of that and the powerful stories that's
been shared with us of times from her work doing
humanitarian work, whether that be in war zones, whether that
be in moving people from human trafficking hardcore things, and
(46:14):
how do you in those places find something of beauty?
And this book The Heart Math, and many others, many
other cultural teachings show us the power of being able
to create a field that is loving, a field that
(46:35):
sees beauty. And if souls and for me, trees are
absolutely living beings, if they're passing, how much better for
them to be in a space where they're appreciated and
loved and acknowledged, that in a space of the terror.
And that's the same as the stories that how I've
(46:57):
understood them from Grandmother powers just humanitarian work to find
beauty on a battlefield, to find beauty when you're putting
pieces back together, to find beauty anywhere. So it's easy
to find beauty when things are beautiful. This helps us
remember to find, look for, find and create beauty when
(47:22):
our outside world may not naturally be giving us that.
And this goes back to one of our other books
on Quantumly Book Club, where we looked at bio centrism
and that it's not out there unless we put it
there as such a co creation. And again this is
just scient science for me, to see. I'm looking outside
(47:45):
at the moment through them the windows here, and it's
been raining for days and days, and it's wet, and
there's birds and trees and it's actually totally delightful. Those
trees are not green in their own beingness the green
because there's a frequency coming from out there. My eyes
are picking it up. My eyes themselves have a brain
(48:07):
in them. Then there goes to another part of my
brain that is interpreting that frequency is green. So there
is no green tree out there. There's a green tree
in my interpretation of those frequencies. Now, if I'm going
to interpret frequencies which is then creating what I then
(48:29):
perceive as an external world, how important is my heart
in addition? So that as I'm creating, when I can
move myself to a place that has that at least
moves away from you know how it's the sadness of
a tree coming down at least into a neutral space,
(48:52):
if not a positive space of gratitude for the life
that it had, then that is actually the co creation.
It's actually creating. And I think this is where heart
math is telling us that what they've started to see
and their measurements is as an individual moves their bone
resonance their electromagnetic frequency, so too are they picking up
(49:13):
those changes on the global scale. And so I appreciate
you asking about the nature because it's it's definitely one
that my emotions could be at either pole. And it
has taken me some decades of very good guidance from
elders to start to be able to know that I'm
(49:36):
responsible when I am there, to bring another viewpoint, and
to check in on myself when i'm not, and to
do a retake.
Speaker 2 (49:50):
That was lovely. I mean all of us connecting with
nature and feeling it. I was just recently at a
conference and of course they're touching on spirituality, they're touching
on ancient things. But I found it really interesting when
I felt I needed to be out and this again,
(50:12):
it's going to the heart. It's the heart is telling
me you need to go outside, you need to connect
with the earth. You need to just sit on the
earth and feel it. And I went out and I
sat and as I sat there and I felt like
I was being rejuvenated again. The word felt. I could
feel it, and people would walk by me and go,
(50:34):
that looks so lovely, And I said, well, you can
join me, come here and sit in the grass with me,
take off your shoes, and they go, oh, but I
have to go over here, or oh, I need to
go take care of this. And I don't know how
many people walk by me and said that. No one
came and sat on the grass. But I saw people
walk across the driveway and sit on the little concrete
(50:55):
stoop and they would sit there and talk, but they
didn't sit in the gres. And I thought, this is
so interesting because I'm feeling the calling to be present here,
to to really absorb whatever frequency is coming in. I
think that's part of the intelligence. And when you brought
up the horses before, my little granddaughter she's not so
(51:20):
little anymore, she's fifteen, but when she was younger, she
said to me, Grandma, I love the dogs and horses.
The dogs and horses just get us. We don't have
to do anything. We can just walk up to them
and they take care of us. And I was like,
that's a heart connection. That is the animal sensing the
(51:43):
being and the being sensing them, and that's a heart connection.
And that's what this book is about, is really learning
how to listen to that and really learning how to
use that the information that you gain internally, because they do.
They talk about intuition, they talk about guidance or whatever
(52:05):
word you want to use for it. Where you get
this information and where does it come from? Not necessarily
through the brain the mental capacities, but it comes through
the heart and how you're feeling. So we have just
a couple more minutes, and I was wondering if you
had any last thing you want to say or why
do you think this is a good book for our
(52:28):
listeners to to get and to learn with us on
the show? Do you want to start? Evelyn?
Speaker 3 (52:39):
Definitely?
Speaker 4 (52:40):
Well, like I mentioned earlier, I think it's such an
important book because it it has the tools, It gives
us the tools and solutions to help us have that
heart brain connection and to truly teach us to get
(53:00):
to know ourselves through our heart. And I think that
is such an important connection to develop that intuition and
you may call it if you want to call it that.
And once you have that development, like I mentioned earlier,
it creates a certain self trust. You really start trusting
yourself more and I find that so valuable. So yeah,
(53:24):
I'm definitely looking forward to diving into this book, and
I hope everybody else listening to us also, So go
out and get the book.
Speaker 2 (53:34):
Thank you, how about you all the way.
Speaker 3 (53:39):
I was thinking that, definitely get the book, listen to
it on audible, and again it's a funny one because
this is one where some of the reviews on audible
are they people have different responses to the voice that's
sharing the story, and I thought that was interesting because
(53:59):
again it's frequency, It's how someone feels is then how
they're influenced with the information. So whether you listen to
it on audible, it might just be a perfect speaker
for you. Whether you read it, whatever you do, I
would also suggest reading some of it aloud to yourself
in your own voice and listening back to that because
(54:21):
that power of story and the power of frequency when
you can hear something told to you and you have
that in your space like some people put up post
it notes. Whatever works for you. As we said, this
is an action book, but have it that youth can
then become more surrounded by little snippets of recordings you
might want to record with some of the music. Make
(54:44):
this information in the book your own, and definitely come
on the journey with us over the next few weeks
on Quantumly Book Club, as we explore it and discuss it.
Speaker 2 (54:55):
Thank you appreciate that so much. And as they put
in there as the book for me, this is about
learning the science, but understanding the use of the frequencies,
understanding what this coherence is because you can see it,
and they do have little devices that you can that
(55:17):
you can get and teach yourself how to and train
the frequencies between the mind and the heart, or how
to slow the heart rate, make the heart rate smoother,
what happens as you meditate in things. There's so much
that's in here, and I would invite you to go
(55:39):
explore the site. But on the back of the book
it says, this is about the intelligent heart and the
power of the heart's intelligence to improve your focus and creativity,
to elevate your emotional clarity, to lower your stress and
anxiety levels, to strengthen your immune system, promote your bodies
(55:59):
up performance, and slow the aging process. So, whether you
want to come from an interest in the science of
how it all works, whether you want to find it
for your health, whether you want to understand how to
tap in, tap in deeper into yourself, into your own
intuition and your own clarity. Deepac Tropeer says this book
(56:23):
could save you years of therapy. I thought that was
kind of interesting. And Christine Northrop, another doctor who's quite
vocal on health, says, this is the owner's manual we've
been waiting for to help us recognize the use of
our heart's energy and to help heal our bodies and
our lives. So this is an important book and what
(56:46):
heart Math is sharing with us in this is something amazing.
The book is not that expensive on Amazon, and so
I would recommend that this week you go out, you
get the book, read through the intro and things, and
we'll be diving into I'm sure chapter one next week.
(57:06):
Sometimes we cover several chapters, so you may want to
even read through chapter two or chapter three so that
you're kind of up to date with where we're at.
And we love the fact that you come and join
us every week, and we hope that you gain and
we know that you gain so much when you go
(57:27):
through these and you listen to the discussions and you
learn and get to apply. The biggest thing is to apply.
We don't need shelf knowledge, we need self knowledge. So
apply what's in the book. And now we're coming to
the end of our show, so in closing, it's that
time again to conclude our studies today, and we thank
(57:48):
you for sharing your time and energy with us. You
matter and you count, so you always make a difference.
We look forward to you being with us next week
as we make that leap to greater consciousness. Have a
powerful week and allow your light to shine and always
all good things to you. We appreciate you listening. Please
(58:11):
get the book and join us next week. All good things.
