My husband is ruining my Christmas. He notified me the other day – without our ever talking about it – that he was going to make a donation in my name for the holiday in lieu of a gift. Well that’s warm and fuzzy maybe, but I want a gift. He says we have enough “stuff” and charity is what the holidays are all about. But showing someone you love them is also an important part of the holidays. Tell him to buck up and get me something.
