Speaker 1 (00:01):
Good morning, studio morning. Okay, here's what was happening before
the show. I play PlayStation for I play NBA two
K twenty, and this is another video game segment, but
just so, it's a life segment. And we play these seasons,
(00:24):
and you finish the season, you want a championship or
you don't. Edie's doing the same thing. He's playing, and
he played a whole season. He got to the final
championship game, and he lost in the final championship game,
and instead of letting him LOSEY turn it off real quick.
What do you think about someone who does that in life? Amy,
I mean, he wouldn't let it go through. He lost
the game. I haven't checked it yet. I'm hoping that
(00:45):
that game didn't register and I can replay that last game.
I don't know what you're trying to. I don't know.
Sometimes in life it doesn't work out the way you
want it to, and you learn from it the next time.
Bones you know, playing video But also, are you gonna
really feel that championship in your heart if you had
to cheat? Yeah? I didn't cheat. I mean the thing
didn't you turn the game off? I got to think, man,
(01:06):
like you spend so many hours. Again through that season,
I'm like, I cannot lose just one game. And oh,
by the way, I lost by one point. Okay, but
that's fine. That's kind of a whimpy thing to do
is to turn off the game. Have you ever done it? No? Never? Never? Never,
Super Mario Brothers Never. Why I could afford a Nintendo
back in the day. Do you ever have a video game? Yeah?
Would you have? Oh? First we had on Natari, but
(01:28):
then I was doing I was really little, and then
we got a Nintendo and whatever else. We go over
to Scottie Scotti had a Nintendo. He was like the
one on the block that had one Duckhunt. Duck Hunt
was awesome. But I would eat a pretty big TV
cheat and put the gun on the on the screen.
Oh you cheated? Interesting? Interesting? I was like eight. Yeah,
I'm forty one, and the rules didn't say you couldn't
do that. And there was also one two on the
(01:50):
running pad. It was like the power pad, and he
had that and I would get on the ground one
knees and I would use my hands. Oh my gosh,
that's because Cheetah was really fast and the hurdles back then. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
but um that was a really big end of the
video games. Though. My cousin Big Bob, because I was
a little Bob's at his real name, he's Bobby and
(02:11):
I was Bobby, but he's Big Bob's blah blab. He
had Sega Genesis and he ooh yeah that was a
different level. That's sonic. Yeah yeah, yeah, but anyway, that's
Eddie's story of the day. Thank you defines you as
a person when you quit. I'll see what happens today.
I'm going to turn it back on. Hopefully that game
did not register. Let's see how you do a country
album titles. So I'll just give you the the album title.
(02:34):
Tell me the artists. Okay, okay? Whose album Wasn't Girl
Marin Morrisyeah? Good, all right? Whose album was south Side?
Last album was south Side? Sam Ut, Wow, you got it?
I love the song turn it Up? Whose album? Whose
(03:04):
last album was? What you See is what you Get?
M Who? What artists? Though? Do you feel like it's
like what you see is what you get? I don't know,
like Jason Aldean or something. No, give me another hint,
say it like he would say it, what you see
is what you get? Tylor far No, No, I know,
(03:27):
I know you sound like, hold on, what did you see?
What did you get? Oh? Luke Combs? Yeah, yeah, now
I know whose latest album was here and now? Oh
I know this h here and now here and now
(03:47):
give me a hint? He no, can you test me? Yeah?
Can you? I know now that that Luke Homb's one.
I know that. Good. Go ahead? Who's number nine? Nine
nine nine? This one? I'll be very surprised. Now. It's
just such an It's a number. I know, I know nine.
(04:09):
I feel like was it is a baseball number nine?
Or is it like looking number nine? Or does he
have nine kids? Or nine nine nine nine? I think
it's either Jason al Dean or Niner. Give me another hint. Yeah,
(04:34):
I need you to guess. Oh my gosh, why is
it hit nine? Okay, I'm gonna go Jason baseball number?
How in the world did you know that? I have
no idea that, Thank you. I don't know. I guess
I read that somewhere. You know, I just retain information
Center Point Road. Oh, Thomas rhet wild World? Is that
(05:04):
like Billy Ray Cyrus for something? It's not. No, it's
Wild World? Whose album was named wild Wild World that
I not me because I can't say it wild World album. Okay,
give me a hit. I was wearing a shirt recently.
Oh kit more, I said, what you got a few more?
(05:26):
This one's easy Tolehoma? Uh whose album was named Tola Homa?
Last album h Blake, No, No Tola Homa. Oh, hold
on not Oklahoma, hold on Tella Hooma. I thought that
would be a lot easier for you. I know this
is easy for whatever. It sounds like. It sounds like
it's so easy. I'm drawing a blak and it's so
(05:48):
annoying to me right now. Blake was Texoma. Sure, okay,
but this is Tola Homa and Blake was about ahead
teeny tiny hit because I know, I know, I know,
I'm dig deepa the town that he's from. Also, I'm
this is gonna give it to you. But his parents
came in on the show, Dustin le yes, I did. No.
(06:17):
This is the bad part is I did the album
release party in New York with Dustin, and I knew
it for some reason. I remember Jason Athen's baseball number,
but not that you didn't remember his parents coming in
saying we're from Talahoma, No I remember now Experiment, Experiment.
(06:38):
What the name of the record Experiment? The latest album
from this artist is called Experiment. I don't know. I
feel like that would be like, I don't know, Kane Brown,
Kane Brown, is it? I just want to release? I think, yeah,
(07:00):
I did. I'll give you one more times. Ladylike, um um,
I know who it is. Oh, you're doing pretty good
at this game though, You're pretty interesting. Yeah, that's right,
I'm a lady like whoa, I he did pretty good.
(07:23):
You had better on I thought album titles are tough.
Well I pretty much got them all. You got most
of them. There you go. Nice job, Nice job. Bobby
Bones is home Monday night, eight seventh Central. Put it
on ABC because CMA Best of the Fest, hosted by
I'm a Good Buddy Luke Bryan and featuring some of
the most incredible performances over the last sixteen years of
CMA Fest. Lauren Kine, Miranda, my dear friend, Darius, Tim McGraw,
(07:47):
Blake Shelton had stacked. Obviously I'm in the show too,
but who cares about that? More info cmafest dot com.
All right, here's a voicemail talking about Raymond knows dreams
of being on a reality show. I just had a
thought about RAYMONDO. So I know that he's been trying
to apply for a Big Brother for so long, but
(08:11):
what if you applied for the Circle. They're taking applications
right now, and I think ray would be amazing at it.
So I just thought I had Also, if you could
give a shout out to one of my really good friends, Amy,
that would be awesome. Thank you, bye, first shout out
to Amy. Secondly, Raymond, would you be on a show
other than Big Brother? I mean, it's that's the thing.
(08:32):
I'm not somebody that's just going to sleep around with
all these different reality shows. I watch Big Brother ever
since I was in college. That was really my passion.
I mean, I imagine if I just applied for every show,
I'd get on one, But that's not really what I'm
trying to do. It's Big Brother or a bus Really. Yeah,
I just loved the concept love trying to not necessarily backstab,
but have alliances. Are you honest or not? What works
(08:54):
for you? And then there's competitions that are awesome as well.
Around the room. If you could be on one reality show,
any one reality show. Okay, which one would you be on?
Amy Amazing Race? Yeah, that'd be fun. Yeah, but I'd
have to be with somebody that knows directions. I think
I'd be really good on Survivor. Yeah, you would, you would, Yes,
(09:15):
You'd have all the people tricked and yeah, I think
that would be the show that So if I'm gonna pick,
I would I would go It used to be The Bachelor,
but I don't need that show now because I have
a wonderful girlfriend. But Survivor would be the one I
would pick now, Lunchbox, the Challenge, Johnny MTV. I would
team up with Johnny Bananas and you know, maybe West
and we would just dominate the whole show and go
(09:37):
right to the final. It'd be amazing. Eddie. I would
go on one of those cooking ones, like Master Chef
or like anything with Gordon Ramsey put me in there.
I'm just I love cooking. Hell's Kitchen. I don't have one,
but I'd love to be on that. Yeah. Yeah, Morgan
nine would be a cookie would be guys Grocery Games.
Does that look like supermarket sweet? Kind of you see
(09:58):
that you have to put to other food from random
items and compete and then you win like twenty thousand
dollars for a charity or for you. But you drive
the card around, right. Yeah, you's like race to get
your item. It looks like Supermarket Sweet today. And Ray
here's a big brother obviously. Yeah. And I can probably
try about seven more times before I have kids. Once
I have children, I don't want to miss an entire
summer of life. But I think, honestly, I still can
(10:20):
try for seven more seasons. All hey, thank you for
the call. You can always call our voicemail eight seven,
seven seventy seven. Bobby, It's time for the good news. Bobby.
It's taken seventy five years, but World War Two veteran
Peter Fantasia has finally been honored for his military service.
(10:42):
He is one hundred and three years old. The Summerville,
Massachusetts man received eight medals in a special ceremony this week.
A US representatives their presented the medals, including a Bronze Star,
a good Conduct Medal, and the American Events Service Medal.
He was serving as the US Army medic when he
was captured in France in nineteen forty four and was
(11:03):
held as a prisoner of war until he was liberated
by Russian forces in nineteen forty five. Wow, that is
crazy and it's not even something that we think about,
but that is Yeah. Man, for a year he was
held as a pow. He previously received the Silver Star. Quote.
He's a true example to the rest of the country
in the community what American heroism is all about. Crazy.
(11:26):
He's one hundred and three years old and got all
those medals. I just read about people being POWs. Yes,
I can't. I can't imagine me either. Shout out to
this guy. Tons of respect and love and he got
his medals after seventy five years. And that is what
it's all about. That was tell me something good, show down.
Sorry to day. This story comes to us from Florida.
(11:47):
A thirty six year old man had a worn out
for his arrest. When police pulled up at his job.
He's like, man, I gotta make a run for it.
He takes off for the woods and he sees a
pun and he goes, man, I'm a huge fan of Rambo.
If I jump in that pond, I can just hold
my breath and I'll be safe. So he jumped in
the pond, went under, held his breath for about six
seconds popped up. Cops still waiting there on the shore
(12:07):
grabbed him. You know they were just watching too. The
move is when you rob something and there's water nearby,
you put a straw in your pocket, because then you
jump in the water and you took it air from
underwater with the straw, and they think after about three
minutes they've missed you or you drowned. And that's how
you You don't just jump in or you do your
(12:29):
lips order edge like a duck. Good dog. Oh is
that what Rammo did? And not a paper straw or
a hay straw. No, like you probably gotta go plastic
uncho lunchbox at your bone head. Story of the day,
You all the way moved into your new house yet, Yeah,
totally moved in. Thankfully had these movers. They're a bunch
(12:50):
of college kids. They were awesome. And they were moving
one of our couches up the stairs and they had
to turn a corner through our kitchen and when they
were doing it, I was like, pivot, pivot, pivot, and
I did the whole thing and one of them looked
back at me and he was the one holding the
couch and he was like, what he thought I was
(13:12):
telling him to pivot and do so. He had no
idea what I was talking about. So then I was
explaining Friends the TV show to him, and after he
put the couch down, came back downstairs. You've been thinking
about it in a minute, and he said, so, Hey,
is that that Friends show worth the watch? And I
was like, oh, my gosh, how old are you? Yes,
(13:35):
it's worth the watch? Oh you think it is? You
recommend it to a kid? He was twenty years old. Ye,
so yeah, we're about twenty years apart and one hundred percent.
I told him he needed to get on that. Well.
I don't know if i'd recommend Friends now. I think
a bunch of what Friends was good for was the
time more so than now. I think you had to
(13:55):
almost watch it back then to still love it today.
I know there's some young people to love it, but
I think, do you think Friends is good now? Eddie?
Oooh it's tough. I haven't seen it in a while,
but I would say no, because it really did represent
the nineties, like or the two thousand, two thousands for sure. Okay,
but some people like that seventies show represents the seventies,
(14:15):
but it wasn't. It wasn't the seventies. I sorry, I tried.
I tried, like drin like shows that take place earlier,
and so maybe they'll think it's nostalgic. Morgan, Do you
like Friends? Yeah? I love Friends. Did you watch it
though first time around? No? Not when I was younger.
I mean I probably wasn't until like high school that
I started watching it when it was the reruns on
(14:37):
TBS or whatever. What would you recommend from the nineties
or two thousands to the kids of today, because easily
the Office? Right, Yes, that's I'm gonna recommend the Office.
What would you recommend from the nineties or two thousands,
probably counting Crows, Friends and Atlantis, Moriset, Yeah, Eddie Girl,
jam Man, Jams music. Come on, I'm probably gonna throw
(14:58):
in some old McGraw for sure, all the old Garth
Brooks from the nineties. George mc hammer pants because they
were very comfortable. I remember saving up and going to
get my first pair of hammer pants at Walmart. We're awesome.
I wore them to my first day of school in
fourth grade and thought I was showing up as the
coolest nineties things you had. Britain Lunchbox Eminem. Well he's
(15:19):
like ninety nine though, like really on that edge, right, Yeah,
I mean he's late nineties, but I mean he was
a powerhouse that Yeah, And I mean I think Seinfeld's
still like maybe it's because I like it, but when
I watched the reruns, I still laugh. Yeah. I think
Seinfeld holds up better than Friends does people who and
I'm met more of a Friends fan than a Seinfeld
(15:40):
fan honestly, but I think Seinfeld holds up better. Yeah.
Oh interesting, Well anyway, okay, yeah, well I just realized
my references when I've got younger people in my house
don't work. Yeah. I was talking to Gary Lavox from
Rascal Flats and him and Jamie Fox are like really
good friends and lived together for a while, and so
(16:02):
this is us talking about that. So you and Jamie
Fox have been friends for a while. Huh yep, you
guys you sit around Jamie's house singing we did all
the time. Yeah. Here is She Goes All the Way,
which came out in two thousand and seven, No questions,
no talking the South host. Isn't he want like the
(16:27):
best I've been talking about as a person. I don't
know this person. But when you look at overall talents
and what he's able to do act oscar, seeing hit record, comedy, freaking,
and living color, I seem do impressions like, I don't
know that I can name a more talented person period, no,
overall than Jamie Fox. Ye just seem to h baskets, Yeah,
(16:48):
just seem play basketball. How did you guys become friends?
He I had got a deal offered to me by
Capitol Records in early on, like a pop deal, and
so I went to La my old man manager at
that time used to work for Jamie. So ended up
going there staying there. After I turned that deal down,
I ended up just staying living with Jamie for a
(17:10):
few months, just staying with him. And then we're just
and he had just lived together and just started the
w he started, just started the Jamie Fox Show on
the WB and so he was just getting going. I mean,
his comedy stuff was happening. But he's truly one of them.
He might be the most talented person I've ever seen.
He's great at absolutely everything. I mean not just great,
(17:32):
but I mean sets the bar for comedy talent. I
mean his the way he plays piano, and I mean,
he's just and he loves music. He loves country music,
he loves all genres of music, and he can act.
I mean, it's just it's not fair. It's not fair
at all. It sounds like he's a good dude too.
He's a great dude, which sucks you kind of want
to hate something. Yeah, he's from Texas. I never liked
(17:52):
you because that's you have it all. You have it all. Yeah,
and I've been coveting. Yeah, I'm envious and I'm covering again.
I you want to hear the whole conversation, go search
for my music podcast, The Bobby Cast, because it was
Gary and myself for over half an hour and that's
just one of them. So go search for it wherever
you podcast or on iHeartRadio. So we were talking yesterday
(18:13):
about Eddie's kids. His oldest son wanted ten dollars to
mow the yard. Yeah, because his cousin Luke gets ten dollars.
But he's mowing and you're not paying him now I
pay No, I'm not paying him at all. I wasn't
until Luke told him he gets paid ten. So he
wanted ten, but we negotiate it down to just five.
But I told him that it would be ten every
other time. Some basically I tricked him, but yeah, I'm
(18:34):
paying him regardless. So I sent it a video of
the basketball court and said, hey, if your son will
come and sweet basketball court every two weeks, U yeah,
something like that. I pay him thirty thirty dollars. Thirty
dollars every time. Oh my gosh, it's a pretty big area.
If do you have any activities for Stevenson? Well, I
just thought about this because of Eddie's son. Want to
make money. Yeah, and he'll do it. But I was like,
(18:56):
this would be good, and it'd be like a job.
He has to come out. It's fantastic. Yes, it's amazing. Yes,
I get to drop him off and kind of let
him do his job and then pick him up. It'd
be like a little job. And he's only twelve. It
is perfect. So but I sent I sent Eddie a
video said here, and I was like, all right, if
you want this, I've hey, thirty dollars once every you know,
two times a month. And Eddie responds, let me see
(19:16):
if he wants to do it. And I was like,
if that kid says no to this, that is crazy.
But he did say, well, let me tell you something.
When he saw the video, he goes and I'm like,
what are you thinking about? I just I'm just trying
to just just kind of process everything. I'm like, well,
do you want to do it? Because it's a great opportunity.
He's like, wow, I don't really like raking leaves. And
I'm like, listen, you got to start at the bottom.
(19:37):
Well it's not only raking, it's sweeping, sweeping, whatever. And
I was like, you got to start at the bottom. Like,
this is like your this is your first job. You
can look at it is your first job. So after
a while, then then you know, my wife talked about
it a little bit to him, and he's like, yeah, okay,
yeah here were you guys are right, I'll do it. It
It won't take him anywhere the ninety minutes. Yeah, is
it thirty dollars each time? So he makes sixty dollars
a month, but he wants he has a little negotiation thing.
(19:59):
He wants an negotiate something real quick. Uh. He likes
the your screen that you play video games on. Uh,
and he would like to watch one movie on that
big screen a month. What including the thirty dollars at
Bobby's house and if he wants to invite friends, he
can't know. First of all, do we know friends? What
is happening? Do you think one movie? I'll give him
(20:22):
twenty five bucks each time? Oh wow, this is big.
This is big. And one movie a month? No friends,
only dad one movie a month? Okay, not not any
other kids? What about his brothers? Twenty dollars a month.
I got four kids at the house and sits the
(20:43):
whole theater experience. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Here's what's your
final offer. My final offer is I'll do thirty bucks
thirty dollars twice a month. He can watch one movie
max one companion if it's you or wow, one companion? Yeah?
Is this take could leave it? Or can he come
back with a counter? Uh? This this is pretty close.
Take it to leave it? Okay? How does he schedule
(21:05):
win the movie room is or whatever? We just get out.
We just get it on the calendar. My calendar is
ready to go. All right, interesting, I'll see what he says.
Let me know. I'll come back with his answer and
tell him I got Stevenson over here at chomping at
the bit to take the job. Oh first, Stevenson picks
up poop for five dollars. He would take this in
a heart beat. So let him know, let your twelve
year old know. Oh yeah that if he passes on it,
(21:27):
I got somebody waiting. I got another. If we can't
get him there, he'll hitch hike. He'll get there. This
is fun. But this is great stuff for him. He
doesn't care about watching a movie. And you're, oh, Amy,
he's trying to get the He's like, let him talk, okay,
So anyway, Yes, thirty dollars twice a month, one movie
with one companion, sixty bucks a month, I know, okay,
(21:49):
thirty bucks each time, and then one movie a month
with only one one one companion. That one movie a
month is going to catch up to you of like
trying to schedule it out. And I'm not paying for
the movie though, what do you mean? Whoa, what do
you mean? I'm not paying for the movie rent? So
if you have to rent the movie from like Amazon,
it comes out of his salary. Yeah, I'll write that
down in the contract. Got it, love it bones. It's
(22:10):
a good stuff. If it's on Netflix or Amazon and
it's okay by you, it's going to be something that
he wants knew, then he has to pay for it
out of his out of his all right, I just
feel like it's a learned. I can pay for sure,
but I feel like this is a learned. This is
all really good stuff. And if he says no, Stevenson's
ready to go, this is real life. If there's a
if there he has to take a sick day, you
let Stevenson. No, No, I'm I gonna do that. Don't
(22:31):
let her. And then sometimes people get sick. Okay, Oh,
but I thought you would still want the court clean.
I can hold off for a couple of days. It's
better love it. Okay, all right, let us I'll get
back to you. And I think it's time for the
good news. Good. So sometimes you see strangers and maybe
(22:53):
you feel it on your heart to like just perform
a random act of kindness, and you never know the
difference it's going to make in someone's life. Like, for example,
this mom was eating at McDonald's with her soldier son
before he had to report back to army duty, and
she was recently diagnosed with cancer, so she didn't really
know if she'd ever even see him again. So when
a customer bought the breakfast for them. She said it
(23:14):
just meant the world to her, and she went to
Facebook and wrote, you don't know how much I needed
your brand of sunshine today. So it's just really special
to her in him in a lot And let that
be a bit of inspiration to you, not you, Amy,
but our listeners. Yeah. That the worst thing that can
happen is if you try to be extra nice to somebody,
(23:34):
is that they don't receive it. It's the worst thing
that can happen. But the best thing, the normal thing,
is that it really affects someone's day. And think about
the last time somebody did something for you randomly that
was nice, and how much you appreciated it, and you're
just like, I can't believe that happened. You're just like, oh, wow,
you can do that. And it doesn't cost much or
anything to depending on the situation. A breakfast to McDonald's
(23:55):
love that story. That that's really what it's all about.
That was tell me something good over to Amy with
the morning. Corny, Morning, Corny, what do you call a
snake wearing a hard hat? What do you call a
snake wearing a hard hat? A boa constructor? Right? That one,
(24:21):
Corny I can see it now right here a joke. Yeah,
what'd you guys? Stop it? No, no, seriously, I love
when I do ones that are like career based for
people on the Bobby Bones Show. Now, what's up man,
what's the what do you? What are you up to
this morning? Oh? I was just cleaning up the shop,
(24:44):
just doing normal stuff. I'll say this that I have
friends in the country music community that probably claim that
they're a little more hands on at home in a
field on a tractor than they really are. How that
being said, you're the real deal. You got tractors and
(25:05):
you're mostly on a track. Anytime I talk to you're
either on a tractor or in the backyard doing something
John Party's on. What's cool that John's doing is that
he is doing the Nashville Live the drive in at
Nissan Stadium and the parking lot. So what are they
telling you the show is going to be? Like? I
know that everybody's gonna have their slot where they parked,
(25:25):
and then they have a little area where they can
hang out and it's distant from the other slots, and
I know you're gonna have to like get they gonna
have a few they have designated restrooms and he's like,
put your mask on, the go the restroom and you
come back. And so you got your little hang area.
I know that for sure. All right. So Friday in Nashville,
it's the drive in at Nissan Stadium parking lot. Get
your ticket to see John Party on Saturday, indiely from
(25:48):
the drive in at Ruph Music Center parking lot. Man,
all these driving gigs, that's pretty good stuff, huh. I
think it's gonna be fun. I saw a video of
Alan Jackson. He did one and it looked really fun.
And it's something, uh that we want the fans to
feel safe when they come out to see the show.
And it just is it is what it is, you know.
(26:09):
And I think the big parking lots is going to
be a good way to do it, and the stage
will be I don't, I don't, I don't know what.
I haven't looked at the set up. But if you
go on live nation dot com, they do have the
like layout of how it's going to be. I haven't
looked at it. Well, go and watch John Party play
live music hard to find nowadays, everything safe, everything, all
(26:32):
social distance. Look at this guy. Hey, now you're originally
gonna get married to May. Then it moved to Nashville.
You're still hoping to get married in Nashville. It's been
a it's been a struggle to even think about because
now we're like, we might have to uninvite people. It
is hard. Oh, I bet that's think about you. Listen,
(26:53):
here's what happened because I didn't get invited to John's wedding.
And now, hold on, hold on, let me let me
share the story here. Good. So I didn't I wasn't
a first round draft pick for the wedding. Do you one, Tanna,
when they were doing the big fancy wedding and they
moved it to Nashville. I gotta save the date. And
it's a great picture. It's John in summer and I
was like, hey, John, my friend, for sure, I'm gonna go.
(27:14):
And now I think he just told me I'm about
to get uninvited. I think we heard it here on
the air. No, no, no, no, not invited people I
actually see all the time. Now there's there's some people
that you know, my mom invited I haven't seen five
years because their family was I'm like, well, you know,
I amn't talked to aunt Martha in a long time,
so I think maybe Aunt Martha is knock well. Listen,
(27:39):
I can take it. I'm a big boy. If you
want to uninvite me right now publicly, you have my
permission to do it right now, and I'll take it
a still invited dang an, I'm going sucking Aunt Martha
all right. Listen, go see John. He's doing two shows.
If you want to drive in to see the Nashville
(28:00):
show and you're close. I think it's great. You know,
we have listeners everywhere all over the country listening to this.
In Nashville on Friday and in Indie on Saturday. You
can go to live nation dot com and check out
John Party as he plays just I'm gonna tell you
the most and I say this in the most complimentary way,
the most violent singer I think I've ever seen. When
he gets up to sing, it is just like a
(28:21):
punch in the face. Him and Luke Combs are right
there beside each other for when they sing. Man, it's
it's just it's aggression out the vocal chords. Man. But
that's a good thing. Yeah, boys, alight, So what do
you want me to play? I'm gonna play a John
Party song. Now do you want me to play? I'll
give you four options, dirt on my boots, head over boots, Herdache, Medication,
(28:44):
or the newest single, which he's gonna pick ain't always
the cowboy. You can play hardic Medication. Do you want? Oh?
I was surprised you didn't go with the new single, John.
Do you know that Mel would be so mad at
you right now you're a manager that you didn't pick
the new single. Well, you were like, you you're gonna
pick in all his cowboys. So I was gonna throw
(29:04):
a wrenchment. And I thought, I thought you were gonna
say something about me not wearing a cowboy hat. I was,
but I made that joke once with him already because
he is in a ball cap. And I think I
told the story on there and I told John I
was I was wearing a John Party T shirt when
he wasn't wearing at cowboy hat. And someone thought it
was me wearing him a shirt with me on it,
and they were like, hey, John, And I was like, uh,
(29:27):
all right, And I didn't tell him it wasn't you, so,
but yeah, you look any baseball was that it was?
I don't know you're in like a flannel and you're
not wearing a hat at all. Your hair was all
done up. I don't know. It wasn't long hair, John, Right, No,
it wasn't long hair John. It was short hair John,
because there's there's long hair, Bobby. About the same time.
About the same time. Yeah, well I hadn't done. I
(29:47):
had more of a perm than long hair. John. Good
to talk to you, but see you soon. Yeah, but
he always good to talk to you, guys. I'll be
safe out there, see John. By All right, here's a
call from Tyler. Good morning studio. That is one of
you guys. Can get me a little bit of advice.
I'm a veteran of the United States Army and I
have a couple of like vision. Option A would be
(30:08):
to get back in the military. Option B would be
to join the police department, and option C would be
to take with the cab offer I got as a
tour manager. Let me know what you guys think, and
I think for all you guys do I mean all
this is so many options, this three big options. But
with those limited options, you gotta pick one, okay, okay, Well,
(30:31):
I know nohing, I know nothing, Okay, serve your country,
serve your community, or I don't know. All right, I'm
gonna say he's already been and he's already done the
military thing, so I could throw that. No, I would never.
That's a great think at the stability with being in
(30:54):
the military. Oh yeah, you have to leave home. Same
with being on the road. Oh, the roads. So that's
why we're going police officer because at least you get
to stay home. Yeah, you're home, there's danger, you're protect
to protect there's danger. Yeah, I'm going police officer. Tyler.
Oh wow, I'm going road manager. What did you say,
tour manager? Yeah? No, but listen, there are no tours
(31:18):
right now. How did he just get this? Amazing Chase Rice?
He ain't got no word. Yeah, okay, so if you know,
you know, so I guess what I'm saying is is
I know all that goes into being in the military
(31:38):
and serving our country, and he took a duty to
do that, and he did it, and some people are
in it for life. But he already separated. So now
is his time to maybe go do something where he
doesn't serve others and he can have fun on tour.
I'm saying, go with some more week stability and make
some money and also do great for the community. And
that's be a police officer. You're going, torm manager. Yeah,
the tour manager life is tough. I know. I have
(32:00):
a tour manager, and it's it's if the tour goes
down or the artist is popping, the money goes down,
nobody's got to do it. He said, he got up
an amazing job offer. I don't know. He didn't give
us details. It's right guards, tour manager. Oh, We're like, no, man, Yeah, okay,
I'm gonna go police officer, tour manager, go be a cop.
Police All right, there you go, Tyler. We just made
your mind up for you. Okay, let us know how
(32:21):
it goes. It's time for the good news. Good James
Henry is down in Miami. He's in the driveway. He's
cleaning out his car and he looks up and he
hears his mom yelling fire fire. His house was on fire. Well,
she's outside and his younger brother and sister inside. So
(32:41):
James Henry runs in, gets the four year old brother
and little sister and rushes him out of the burning house. Wow,
that's crazy, man, that's crazy. All right, there you go.
That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good, Raymond,
How would you describe yourself to our audience in just
a few words? Alpha male from the or thirty four
year old guy. I'm a man's man. You know, people
(33:04):
were pretty shocked how muscular you were when I posted
that picture of us fishing. Now you were scared of
the fish. But people are like day, I know, Raymundo
was so beefy. Yeah. I was a wrestler in high
school and when I go to the gym, I just
put on the muscle even if I'm not trying. That
must be a nice problem. Wow. Well he has asked
me if he could do the Man minute today? Is
that true? Yeah? Is there a piece of like man
(33:26):
got it right here? Okayre we go, let's get manly.
It's the Man Minute with Raimundo. Yeah. So it's summertime.
People are getting their beer and stuff like that. Make
sure when you go to the grocery store only get
a small amount because people are getting this extra being
too much and then they have to store it in
their garage. That is terrible for beer. That's how it
(33:48):
gets skunky. And especially don't just leave that extra beer
in the sunlight. You gotta refrigerate it this second you
get home. Also, when you're going to bars, peek behind
the bar see if you're that you're about to order
is stored on the ground, not refrigerated. It always needs
to be in some cold type area. That's how it
gets bad. Most people don't know that. It's just very
(34:10):
very important. I didn't know that. I've never had a beer.
All right, thank you, Raymundo. That was the man minute
with Raymundo. Nice. That's about all I could take six
seconds of that too much man right when I was well,
too much man right, when I wasn't getting into my threshold,
I was like, and he goes, So that's the man minute.
All right, thank you Raymundo. Okay, we are going home,
(34:35):
but thank you for listening. You can catch up on everything.
