Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right the Bobby Bones post show pre show, Um
Morgan number two was talking about, and we'll start with this,
that there's gonna be a new Hunger Games book. Do
you know about that? Oh my gosh, no, but I
didn't get to it. But yeah, so it's a prequel
book that's coming in twenty twenty. There's no title yet,
(00:21):
but it takes place sixty four years before Catness was
in the Hunger Games. Oh wow, okay, so it's pre
pre I mean it's yeah, more Catness is live obviously. Yeah.
I loved Hunger Games. The books were so good to
me that when people we get to read them for
the first time, I would get jealous, same because I
just loved them so much. When I read the Hunger Games,
Catness that's Jennifer Lawrence. Yes, Eddie, it's before Jennifer Lawrence.
(00:44):
That's who played Catness. Okay, yeah, okay, but they were
real good. I thought that, Yeah, they were great. So wait,
who's going to be a based around? So fans think
the theory is it's going to be around the character
Mag's if you remember her in the movie Lady super
Old Lady that Catness worked with Um And they think
it's like around her first Hunger Games is when this
whole book will take place. If she was in the
Hunger Games. We're nerding out a little bit. But I
(01:06):
loved it. I love those books. But it'll it'll be
out on May nineteen, twenty twenties. I'm assuming same same writer. Yes, yes,
and no, they haven't confirmed that yet. So it's Judy
bloom Is Judy looks still alive. I don't know. It's
a good question. They good with it, thank you? Yeah, right,
Bundo said that Murder Mystery movie is really good. Ham
(01:29):
Ramundo and Netflix, I know you mentioned it yesterday. You
watched it? Yeah, I watched. My girlfriend got me into
it with Adam sam Adam Sandlon or Jennifer Anderson. It's
on my preview. Know when it comes on the top
left of the screen. Is all something they're trying to
get you to watch. That's all mine is right now.
It is Murder Mystery. But I don't know. Netflix comedies
haven't done it for me, or the Adam Sandler comedies
(01:50):
haven't that I've seen haven't been so good. I'm telling
you this one's good. It's really if you're in a relationship,
it's really a great date movie. It's if it's couple's humor,
so you're joking around the stuff that irritates you the person,
the guy being a cheap skate, the girl loving murder
mystery novels. It's all about having a girlfriend and feeling
that kind of humor. If you're not into kind of
like rom coms, then it's not for you. But he
(02:11):
liked it, honestly. Adam Sandler's back and there's like, it's crime,
try and solve the crime. Oh it is. Yeah, so
it's a little bit of drama and the comedy. Who
else saw this morgeto and you kind of liked it? Yeah,
it just had it had cheesy moments. The murder stuff
was a little cheesy on purpose. I think so very
Adam Sandler, Like, have you seen mister Deeds. No, you
don't seen mister Deeds. Oh true, Like way back it's
(02:35):
already stabs off on the foot because his foot's dead
or something. Well kind of yeah, yes, no I don't
think so. Well, it's very mister Deed's esque, Like that's
the kind of humor that it has. I kind of
lost on Adam Sandler when he started being more family
friendly okay, Like I was a big Adams when I
was an idiot kid, and obviously musically he's a huge inspiration.
But when Adam Sandler was Tommy no, no, like a
(03:00):
big dat now and I didn't even big Daddy was good.
He I lost the spanglish. I start now, well that
wasn't a com it was like, I'm out, like, um,
what was it? Goes back to School called Billy mad
a great movie? Great? Yeah, like generationally good? Yeah? Like
but then you know, once he started doing all the
(03:20):
kids stuff, I don't have kids. I never saw grown
ups with all the celebrities. Yeah, daddy, what's that one?
I think so? But I think his special on Netflix
is the funniest one I've ever seen. Awesome of all
the Netflix specials, I think that's the funniest comedy like
comedy thing I've ever seen. Is his is his new
Netflix one, Raymond and how many Adam Sandler? What are
you writing it? How do you give it? Well, since
(03:41):
it's a murder mystery, it's clue. I give it, uh
four clue pieces out of five. And I think he
has secret people from the past movies that he's been
in in this movie, doesn't Rob Schneider in it. People,
David Spade, it's the dude from Happy Gilmore. They got
his hand cut off by the alligator. Oh, Apolo Cubs,
(04:02):
he always does that, all right, Raymond? Thank you? Yeah,
there you go. I started watching When They See Us
last night a little bit. You watch that? Yeah? Oh yeah,
what is it? A bad decision? Do not watch it
all at once because it's so depressing. Yeah, you just
will be like emotionally not Okay, is it good? It's
really good. I started watching it and I wasn't in
(04:25):
the mood for it. Yeah. You definitely have to be
like emotionally prepared to because it's based on a true
it's a true story. It is a true story. Yeah.
And so I started it and then I watched it.
I was like, I'm not in the right place for this.
Oh and it will put you in an even worksplace
by the end of it. Yeah. Where do you watch it?
And what is It's on Netflix? Okay? And it's about
the Central Park five um, and it's these five young
(04:48):
kids from fourteen to sixteen years old that basically kind
of get framed for the like rape of a woman.
Oh yeah, murder raped. Yeah, she was jogging. Yeah, and
then it comes out it wasn't the wow how they
get unveiled is just insane. How how like? It's not
(05:09):
a documentary though, because I thought it was gonna be
a documentary. It's actually a scripted show where you're watching,
uh you know, just a serious yeah story, law and
order type so based on true events. Yeah, it's wild.
And I watched the last time. I was like, I
gotta go. I'm not in it right now. I started
watching Dead to Me again. I'm six episodes endo. Dead
to Me was good. Yeah, which is real game made
(05:30):
down with that show. No seen it, just what you're done? Yeah?
Are there more twists? Yeah? Yeah, it's the ry like yeah, okay.
And then so no Black Mirror for you guys. No,
we talked about it yesterday. No Black Mirror. But you
know what I did see those pretty good was eight Mile.
Oh no, I haven't seen an always be my maybe.
Oh yeah, Mighty loves that on it. You should check
(05:52):
it out. It's it's really good. It is. Yes, it's funny. Yeah.
The girl at the comedy special is that Yeah, she
has she's they always put the average has Me up
on my Neflix. She's pregnant doing a comedy special. She's
because yeah, because she does have a comedy special at
the same time. Yeah, good movie. Anybody else watching Unsolved?
I don't know what that is. Oh, that's the one
I was telling about when we recorded the podcast Um
(06:12):
Bobby cast Um the Murder of Tupac and Biggie. I've
just seen so many of those stories and documentaries and
podcasts that I feel like I've seen it all. Okay,
it's interesting. Josh Jumall's in it. And I will say,
the guys they got to play Tupac and Biggie look
(06:33):
just like Tupac and Biggie. You're like, well, this is weird.
They look just like them on The Notorious the movie.
The guy looks just like Biggie, but it's Biggie Son.
Oh that's crazy. I wonder if it's Biggie Soun playing
in this. I don't cause he wouldn't do that movie
and in this movie, I don't know. This is the
same game he plays Biggie and every King. Yeah, but
I'm series, but it's more from the la it's all
(06:56):
from the cops perspective. I think that would be interesting.
I'm just I'm so in and all the cops that
worked on death row death row, like records are worked
for death row. Yeah, they're like they all of them
are like moonlighting, like sugar. Yeah, it's a whole thing.
Roll on the payroll? Wow, and notorious? Was it not?
(07:18):
Maybe it's a son of the the Amy show. Then listen,
I don't know. I'm just telling you. He sounds just
like Biggie. He looks just like Biggie. Yeah, well I
know that was that was ice Cube signed and that one? Oh, yes,
that's I'm mistakable. What I'm mistakable? Like they look they're
like twins. Maybe it wasn't a son then, who knows, Well,
it could be. I'm telling you looks just like him.
(07:39):
Did you guys watch the Tupac one, because Tupac had
one too, Yeah, this one, this one is Tupocket and Biggie.
But no, but Tupac had like a movie, a major
motion picture, right? Was it calling Changes or something? What
is man? If I haven't seen that, I need to
maybe and maybe listen. I love Tupac. I did watch it. Oh,
I need to watch that. Why have I not seen it?
Was Tupac signed played? No it wasn't. Everybody I don't know.
(08:04):
All these Tupac movies that come out, like whoever plays
Tupac looks just like Tupac. It makes me believe that
it is Tupac, all right, like he's playing himself in
the jokes on you and stuff. Um, all right, I
think that's it for today. Anything you want to say, Ammy, No,
but I got to write that down. All eyes on me.
Oh it's not good. Huh no, watch it because you're
(08:26):
such a fan. I know, I l and bones. Judy
Bloom is still alive. Wow, she gotta be in her nineties.
Huh's eighty one? Wow? Yes, spry young Judy Bloom. Yeah,
she didn't do Amelia Badelia, did she? No? Okay, I
don't know. Maybe like those are the two I'm not
feeling with. I'm recalling. Well, if today I was don
win Bobby's money, I would not win. My recall is
(08:47):
not good. Everyone missed their chance today. Who wrote Amelia Badelia?
I write Amelia Badelia. Those books were so funny to me.
Who Judy Bloom? M And the question is who wrote
a million ba deal? Yeah? Here we go. Peggy Parish, Oh,
(09:08):
Peggy oh Man, she lives. She changed our lives. Oh, Peggy,
Peggy Parish. You guys remember the personal pan pizza you
get for book it. Yes, dude, pizza pizza. H you
read the books, you get the pizza. I mean I
would never read the books and then take the test
and sometimes I would get a book it. Oh, I'd
read every book. I was just pizza galore because I'd read.
I was nailing those books. All right, that's the deal. Um,
(09:31):
Thank you everyone, and we'll get started with today's show.
Here is Tuesday's show. All right, good luck, Bobby. You
can find us on Facebook two at Bobby Bones show
your buddy and miss the Bobby Ball. This is the
boy bow right. Hey, welcome to Tuesday's show. Garth Brooks
(09:56):
in later, which is cool. You got a Garth Brooks
Worldfmare coming up in a few seconds. Of course. Of all,
let's go over and talk to Erica and Austin. Erica, Hi,
good money, good morning. What do you want to say? Oh,
I just listened to your segments about social media and
how everyone is being negative. They just absolutely love the
thought that you and the whole team, the B team,
(10:17):
we try to see as positive we can. We kind
of you know, Brush off the haters in defense and
I absolutely love thought about your show. You know, we
do try our best. No one's perfect, but we do
try our best. And my whole thing with that segment was,
you know, instead of writing something mean, just move on.
You're actually wasting energy, wasting my time. So that's all.
(10:39):
I just don't like the hating on our social media
for when artists come in and they come in and
they play a song and they put themselves out there
and you're gonna be like, they're not good. Okay, let
me hear you sing expert. Now you are Erica, not you.
I'm talking about you. Hey, thank you for the call.
They appreciate that. Of course some good morning studio morning.
Did I do that yet? No, Marty Sidio, No Sudio,
(11:03):
She's that obviously. Letsten to that podcast before we came.
I like that. People who ever like three listen to
the podcast. His rolls right into the show. Here's the
Bobby Bones Show podcast highlight segment of the day. Lunchbox
loves this guy named Johnny Bananas who's from what show
is appen? Oh he was Real World Key West and
now he's on the challenge and so you you and
him mad in Austin. Yeah, randomly at a bar. I've
(11:24):
been dreaming about it my whole life and he just
happened to be there. And he doesn't even live in Austin.
I don't live in Austin. We were just there. It
was like the skies and the stars brought us together
one night. So then you begged him to follow you
on Instagram and he did. He did, and then I
wanted to be his friend, and you guys gave me
advice on how to direct message him, and so I
(11:44):
direct messaged him and I've been waiting and waiting and waiting,
and he DM me back. Do you have you seen
the d M? No? I haven't opened You want open No.
I don't want to open it because I didn't want
him to think that I was waiting for the DM
dating him like you are. Because if he reads it,
he'll see that it's been seen, right, And if he
sent it and I read it twelve minutes later, he's
(12:06):
gonna be like, dude's been waiting by his phone. I'm
on my phone all the time. It's nice to me.
Whant to see it almost immediately, but you haven't opened it.
You want to let like Amy read it. You have
to open it. It's been long enough. When did he
send it to you? A couple of days? Oh, you
haven't opened it? A couple of days? Yeah, I mean
I've been playing it cool. I saw it came in.
I probably saw it three minutes later, but you didn't
(12:29):
open it. No, a couple of days. That might be
too long, man, I know he's kind of moved on. Yeah,
I may playing too hard to get Okay, So what
did you send him? What was the matchage? The message
you sent him on DM? I sent him? I said, hey, man,
when you get back, good luck on the challenge. Make
sure when you get back to hit me up. We
gotta stay in touch. We gotta make Grinder proud. Grinder
(12:49):
is a dating appy. But yeah, right, well right, got it? Okay, Now,
you guys made me say grinder. No, we didn't make
you do anything. You told me it was a good idea.
Are you ready when we hit it? I think he did.
Are you going to read it? Okay? Okay, here we go.
I'm nervous. Go ahead. What does he say? He says,
better to be better to be lucky than good? Right,
(13:12):
talk soon? Brother? How do you how do you feel
about that. I don't know. I don't really get it.
Better to be lucky than good. Talk soon, I mean
talk soon. So do I want to tell Lunchbox what happened? Oh? God,
I don't know that you should? Oh I don't. I
think I think you should. I mean, did you want
(13:34):
to be honest with him? Lunchbox? You need to be
prepared for what you're about to hear. Oh, let me
give my camera. No? No, okay, you met Johnny Bananas.
I did not meet him. You talked, You got told
for me to back off. Yes, he reached out to me.
What Yeah, Oh my gosh, your face getting awkward. He
(13:56):
did tell him he reached out to me. It was like,
would you please tell Lunchbox to me alone? I don't
think he gets it. I don't think he gets what
I know. I know. And then I was like, oh, no,
what do I do? And so I didn't say anything
because I didn't know you were still trying to talk
to him. Really yeah, oh man, well this is awkward.
(14:17):
I'm gonna follow him on Twitter real quick. I'm not
even you know. No, that's awkward, man, I thought we
were boys. Yeah, you did go at him pretty aggressive. No, no, no, no,
not aggressive. I saw him at a bar and you
started screaming at him. Screaming might be a little extreme.
(14:38):
I saw him and I approached him. I got excited
and I said bananas because that's his name. I was like,
and it's a loud bar, so I don't know if
he can hear me. And you want to make sure
over the music the crowd, well wow messaging back No no, no, no,
(14:59):
no no, I'm not gonna get banned from Twitter because
well Instagram. I don't want to get banned from Instagram
because he says I'm harassing him. No, no one said
the word harassing. He was just like, hey, we just
tell you a boy. Lunchbox was like chill out a
little bit. It was like that, oh man, how did
he contact you? Like he texts me? What text you?
(15:20):
How did he get your number? He don't have my number?
He didn't text me. It's crazy that work is out.
Well that was a lot of fun, man, I mean
dreams crushed like that. That hurt. That was probably boy.
But wouldn't you rather know? Yeah? Would you rather know? Yeah?
I just I'm I'm I'm sad. I'm just really hurt,
(15:43):
Like I thought we had a moment. I thought the
stars aligned for us to be friends, and then you're
telling me that he told me to back off. I
don't think it was about hanging out with you. I
think it's just you were just going at him awfully aggressive,
and the clips on the radio you were like, I
love him, I want to taste him. It was like bananas. Yeah,
just you got to play it cooler. Remember we talked
about playing it cooler. That's what I did. I didn't
read it for a really bit anyway. That's probably the
(16:07):
coolest that you played, was not reading that DM right away.
But that's about it. It's okay now, you know, and
you just kind of let it go. They could have
even been a fake guy texting. I mean, oh right,
that's true. And who is this Banana's guy Johnny anyway, Like, oh,
he's amazing, don't don't don't. I was trying to have
your back. I appreciate it, but you don't need it
to rip him. He loves him so much. He just
(16:30):
wants them to be happy. He does. Gosh, I am
crushed right now, Like this is so awkward. Like I've
never been told to back off of a celebrity. Yeah,
you have every one of them. Remember Warren Sapp Oh yeah,
he was kind of smith. Remember she said you can
take a picture, but no touching Barton. Yeah gosh. So
(16:51):
basically every celebrities told you to back, but not one
to be really really really cared about. I care about
him all because they're all super famous. Yeah, but this
one was a special one. Okay, here's the lunchbox meeting
Johnny Bananas, just so you can tell me not yelling, screaming. Okay,
here we go, guys, guys Banana where Oh my god,
(17:14):
I'm gonna tell you one thing, buddy, don't do what
it not yet? Fun? See good music's loud, the crowds
loud at the bar. You good memory. I don't know
what's kind of ruined though. Well, there you have it.
I'm gonna delete the picture. Are you un following him? Yep?
Going on Twitter, unfollowed, unfollowed Johnny Bananas, ob bones show story,
(17:40):
know what you got in sports to Toronto raptors had
their victory parade. Four people were shot, three were arrested.
Police are looking into a parade footage In other Dudes.
O J. Simpson recently joined Twitter He's been accused of
sending threatening messages. He said, a direct message with knife emojis.
Police are looking into that. And finally in the Dominican
republican New Jersey is he man has become the eight
(18:01):
tourist to die. All these are mysterious circumstances in the
Dominican Republic in recent months. Authority's still looking into these.
The stories from New Orleans, there was a delivery truck
and a guy who tried to steal the truck. Car
jacket crawled into the back and the guy was like,
all right, just locked him in the truck. There was
a car jacker locked on the truck. The guy was like,
(18:22):
got you locked locks? Call nice? What was that show
called cash Cop Baked Car? It kind of feels like
a bait car situation. Yeah, I don't understand how he
couldn't get out the attempted car jack he encourage. Just
after nine am, the delivery man returned to his truck
to find the twenty nine year old Lorenzo Casso inside
the back of the truck. The delivery man asked Casto,
(18:42):
he said, hey, leave, and the guy wouldn't do it,
So he walked around to the driver's side, at which
point he pushed him aside and he just pulled down.
Locked it, locked it. Guy couldn't get out, but he's stuck,
and so it was like a jail. He was in
his own delivery truck jail. That's probably dark in there too.
They charged him with one out of attempting. You know,
he's felt so dumb too while he was in there. Yeah,
(19:03):
there you go. I do want to do on this
day country music. I like this one on disday. I
do love Brooks and Done. On this day. In nineteen
ninety seven, they played a special fan club show at
the Rhyme and Auditorium in Nashville, and they always stick
around a sign autographs after shows, and so they stayed
and much like Garth did, they just stayed till everybody
(19:24):
was done. And so when the show was over, they
played a whole show. They finished at nine am. They
started signing at nine am, and they didn't finish until
five am the next morning. They signed all the way
through for eight hours and that cool. That's crazy. During
this time. Fun fact, Brooks and Done won the CMA
for Vocal Duo the Year every year from nineteen ninety
one to two thousand and six except for one year
Montgomery Gentry won it. Yeah. Wow, so I like to
(19:48):
share one Country music gardens was super cool with fans
or really anybody. It's cool with people. Your daughter's still
at church camp. Yeah, she gets home I think later tonight,
so that'll be it'll be good. I've been nervous for
her the whole time, though, and I need to like
chill out because she's fine. When did you send her
off Saturday morning? Like sixam? So it's four days and
(20:10):
no talk, no talk, no texting. You have her watch,
we can't. I don't know what's going on. I just
I just had to kind of like send her off,
And like this is like a big deal because she's
never sent the night anywhere. There wasn't like with my
sister and that was even like we were in Colorado
and we were at a house like a mile away,
you know, so crazy. But I think I think she'll
(20:32):
do fine. She's I just hope she like makes friends.
It's a good experience. She learns things. But like my
kids don't have a lot of friends yet really, so
I know they've been here a year and a half,
they should have friends, but they don't. Well, they're also
not in I would say a normal public school setting
where you make a lot of friends, right, because their
English was slow, you had to put them in like
their own special school. That's the problem. They haven't been
(20:54):
in a normal school setting since they got here, and
we're hoping to get them caught up. But yeah, and
like in our neighborhood, there's that many kids for them
to play with, so I feel like this is our
time to shine, like meet friends. So what was the
like the church camp? Do you know what they were doing?
Like some of the stuff, they're going a whitewater rafting,
I know that, and then there's like a lake. I'm
sure I was thinking back to like my church experience.
(21:14):
You know, there's probably like some sort of like course
like ropes, course situation or Yeah, I don't know every
single little thing that they're doing, but I'm sure like
little group break off activities. I just I just get
worried as like the mom. They don't want her to
like be in a corner like not understanding what's happening
and by herself, because that's what's happened sometimes when we
play with other people, she ends up in a room
(21:35):
by herself. Like because just the communication is weird and
she doesn't really end up playing with anybody and it's awkward.
So yeah, are there any other kids that are from
other countries there? Or is it just straight ahead church
camp like we went to, Well, not that I know of. Yeah,
I mean unless there was like another family, because it's
like our church has different branches in the city, so
like everybody was meeting together, so it's junior high kids
(21:56):
from like the different branches. So I think in total
there was like I thought there was like, you know,
fifty kids going, there's three hundred. So yeah, because our
church is like pretty small where we go. But I
guess when you add everybody up, so maybe somebody's from
another country, but not that I know of. What time
does she get home this evening? I guess I don't
have an official time they bring her to the house,
(22:17):
So do you go pick her up at church? Now?
We'll pick her up at church. Yeah, And how are
you feeling right now? I can't wait to hear I'm
more excited. I'm over the worried park because we're at
the tail end. Like I would say, Saturday and Sunday,
I was worried and I just was constantly thinking about
her and like praying like, oh, just please let her
be okay, like just hopefully, like she just knows what
the right team thing to say and to do and
all the things. But now I'm just like excited for
(22:40):
her to come home and tell me everything. And they
would have called you if something was going wrong, Oh
for sure, Yeah, I would assume yeah, yeah, Well I
can't wait here with tomorrow. It's say, I know, my
first like kid went off to camp. It was almost
like I didn't get to experience sending your kid off
to like kindergarten, you know, because I got my kids older.
So this is sort of like that for me. I mean,
(23:00):
because it's to some people might not be a big deal,
but it was a big deal for us to even
let her go. The latest from Nashville and Tullywood Morgan
number two thirty second Skinny Shania Twain announced a Las
Vegas residency called Let's Go at Zappo's Theater and Planet Hollywood,
and it's expected to last two years. The residency kicks
off December six. Garth Brooks and Blake Shelton have a
(23:22):
new song out together today and it's called Dive bar
Garth says the song is expected to be on his
new album Fun. Here's a clip Coach to Coach with
a big two wishes, Falling Star, don't spend the weeknd
in the deep of a chase. Rice announced a new tour.
(23:46):
It's called the twenty nineteen AMPM Tour and we'll have
special guests Kale Dods, Chris DeStefano, Devin Dawson and John
Knight on select dates. I'm Morgan number two. That's your
skinny call. It's time for the good news. Good so
scrolling my boyfriend. They want to contest to grab as
(24:06):
many items up to five hundred dollars as they could
in fifty seconds from a grocery store. It's like a
supermarket sweep. Yeah. One of the most legit game shows ever.
Do you remember that one? Oh? Yeah, so fun. So
instead of keeping it for themselves, all the groceries that
they won, they donated to a local food bank. So
they go and they try to grab as much as
possible and they were like wow, and they filled up.
(24:27):
They got the max and they were like, Hey, we're
just gonna donate this to the food bank. Thought, that's
pretty cool, you know, boy, that somebody donate a million bucks,
but most people can't donate a million bucks. And I
love those stories, and that is what it's all about.
That was tell me something good, Bobby Bone show down,
Sorry up to day. This story comes us from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A twenty three year old man was driving a stolen car.
(24:49):
Police try to pull him over. He ditches the car,
he runs, police are chasing him. He sees a bridge.
He's like, man, I'll just jump down real quick and
go on the frontage road. He jumps a little bit
farther and he thought, oh no, and crack the school.
So he fell like it looked like he just hop
off like a road right there, but it wasn't. It
wasn't right there, and he felt like fifteen feet. But
he's in the hospital. He's okay, just a crack school.
(25:11):
It's gonna be embarrassing whenever you the ambulance has to
take care of you after you're running from the law.
It's like those people that get caught in the chimney
when they're trying to like break into a house, and
you got to make that call and be like, oh,
help help me out. Yeah there you go, all right, lunchbox.
I'm lunchbox at your bonehead, story of the day, your
buddy and missed the bobby. This is a boy. That's right.
(25:38):
There's a list of the one thousand greatest movie quotes
of the twenty first century. Okay, and so these are
all the movies from two thousand and now. I'll play
it for you in lunchbox school, back and forth. See
how many you can get, right, I'll give you the quote.
I'll play it for you. You just tell me what
movie it has been from. By the way, all these
again are from two thousand and above. Okay, okay, Amy,
you're a first name this quote. I wish I knew
(26:01):
how to quit you? All right, I wish I knew
how to quit you. I wish I knew how to
quit you. Amy Brokeback Mountain. Correct, good lunchbox named this
movie from the year two thousand or above. She doesn't
even go here. She doesn't even go here. Oh, here
we go, she doesn't even go here. Go ahead. I'll
(26:23):
just guess I've never seen a mean girls mean girls? Correct?
What I guess? Amy? Ready? Ready? Million dollars isn't cool?
You know what's cool? A billion dollars million dollars isn't cool.
You know what's cool? A billion dollars? Million dollars isn't cool.
You know what's cool? A billion dollars. Have I seen this?
(26:46):
I would assume really? Yeah. I think we all saw
this at some point. Anybody else know what it is?
I think? Thanks? So? Yeah, Amy, Facebook's social network? Social network?
Is that? Yeah? Because that's justin Timberlake. Million dollars isn't cool.
You know it's cool? A billion dollars? Yeah? Yeah, Okay,
(27:06):
what's it called? The movie Social Network? But it's about
from twenty Zuckerberg. I thought that was the Austin Powers.
Oh yeah, yeah, all right, lunchbox, name this movie Boy
that Escalated Quickly? I mean that really got out of
hand fast? What movie is that? Boy that Escalated Quickly?
Here you go? This is from Boy that Escalated Quickly?
(27:30):
I mean that really got out of hand fast. It
has to be Anchor Man, Anchor Man. It is anchor
Man right now. Lunchboxes up one, right, lunchbox two, Amy one? Amy?
Are you ready ready? Name this movie right here? Exercise
gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just
don't shoot their husbands. They just don't legally legally blind?
(27:54):
All right? Next up, Lunchbox. With great power comes great
risk basing. All these movies are from the year two
thousand or since. Lunchbox one movies that these are the
great greatest quotes of all time? Go ahead, are you
gonna play it again? With great power comes great responsibility? Ah,
(28:15):
the matrix, no very famous quote. Not just for that moviement,
for all time, all these movies that have been made,
the comic book everything, it's Spider Man. With great power
comes great responsibility. We have a tie, Okay, a tie
with four to go? Amy? Ready? Ready, I volunteers tribute.
All right, I volunteers tribute the Hunger Games. Hunger Games
(28:41):
is correct? Lunchbox, Are you gonna eat your tots? Noah?
Can I have them? You're gonna eat your tots? Are
you gonna eat your tots? Noah? Can I have them? Lunchbox?
It's my boy Napoleon Dynamite. Correct? All right, We're now
down to in here. Write your answer down on this one.
This is the first sudden death. Write your answer here
(29:03):
we go. This spot off, This is Sparta, this spot off?
Can you name that one? Lunchbox? I'll put Gladiator, Amy
(29:24):
for the win. What do you have Gladiator? That three
hundred three hundred, which by the way, was fantastic. What
was it? Yeah? It was good? All right? One again
elimination again buzzing. If you know this one? This is
because this is the last one I have. We have
no other option. When you know it? Say your name?
Here we go three, two at the time? Are you
(29:46):
not at the time? That's the quote here two thousand
and two thousand. Yeah, these are all from two thousand
to now. The greatest movie quote of the twenty first century.
I'll play it again. Here we go. Are you not?
Are you not entertained? Are you not entertaining? Guys? What
(30:12):
is wrong with you all? Do you know it? Yeah? Yeah, buzzing.
With any answer, everybody loses Amy Amy Gladiator? She says, Gladiator,
Show me Gladiator. I mean, guys, I had nothing else
I had Gladiator said it so funny. Well, yeah, I've
(30:33):
never seen the movie. You've never seen Gladiator, and I've
never seen the same. Why not guess the other? Yeah?
Show here's your country quiz who said heartbreak is essential
(30:58):
for business as a songwriter? Again, this person is saying,
you gotta have a lot of heartbreak, so you can
write good songs about it. Now, I give you four options.
Was it Miranda Lambert, Chris Young, Lindsay L or Luke Combs,
who said in heartbreak is essential, I'm in Go ahead,
(31:20):
Lindsay L. Why would you say that I heard super
new music was inspired by that? Well, the answer is,
Lindsay L. That's correct, which makes me a little nervous.
I'mna be honest with you, it says. Lindsay's been pouring
those feelings into new songs for her second album, which
she starts recording. She says, this next record is gonna
focus on what I've gone through the last couple of years.
For those of the New The Show, Lindsay and Night
(31:42):
were together for a while that timeframe, too, right, Yeah, yeah, yeah.
By the way, she's awesome. I talked to her just
the other day. We actually were great. But I just
know that these songs gonna come out and I'll be like,
oh man, but some of the last songs on our
last record were about me, and they were were very loving,
like criminal, that's a good one, that's about your boy here,
(32:09):
or this one that. But now I'm about to get
the wrath boy. I read down online. I was like, please, guy,
don't have the hand to be Lindsay And it was um,
but yeah, she has a new song with Brandley Gore.
Now that's like in the time. It's like seventeen right
now in the charts season. She said, I've gone through
(32:37):
a breakup. I've been single for a while. I feel
like I'm in a place where I finally know who
I am and I'm not scared to talk about it anymore. Great,
we'll be scared for about another year. I've been good
with that anyway. Oh, come on, she's awesome. Small stay
(32:58):
here a smock where I put it on a record.
We're not gonna be too detailed about it. I don't know, dude,
I don't know. She asked me for on to hear
some of it. I was like, nope, because I don't
want to go. Yeah, I don't. I don't want to go, like,
don't put that out. I want her to do her
own art. I just want to hope that she's all
you know, Yeah, good, goody. So now what's happening in
(33:20):
your neighborhood? Oh? Um, my husband and I were walking
the dog and we were walking past this restaurant our
neighborhood that happened to have live music out on the porch,
like early evening, like six pm, and I guess a
woman across the street was not happy that live music
was happening. So we happen to walk by at the
exact moment that she went on to her porch and
yelled out that next time she comes out, if they
(33:41):
don't stop playing the music, she's gonna bring her gun
and she's not scared to shoot. She said that, Well,
how did she say it? Like she's screaming no, like something.
I was like, Okay, something's not right, which also made
me think like, if something's not right, like she might
be capable of actually coming out with her So we're
gonna go an alternate root home. Part of us was like,
(34:02):
should we get over to the restaurant and tell them
that there was a threat that was just made? Like
how seriously do we take this threat? I mean, obviously
we didn't take it that seriously because we decided not
to go over there, And like, though I want to
hear so she was, Oh, let's make her sixty ish
something years old, older, white woman, gray hair in a nightgown.
(34:23):
Oh full length from nightgown out and yells and I'm
standing up from her chair. Yeah, and do what you heard?
Go ahead, if you don't stop playing this music. Next
time I come out here, I'm gonna have my gun
and I'm not scared to shoot anybody. Hear that other
than you and you? There was somebody her other neighbors
sit on a porch, but I think there might be
(34:44):
used to it. So they're like, I mean, but my
husband and I we went in an alternate room and
think about letting him know that, because what if she
would have because yeah, I need to talk to my
husband about that. I mean, well, I mean yeah, I
guess also too. That's why I'm bringing it to y'all.
Was like, what should you do in that case? Because
we didn't want to cause I think had we gone
over there, it would have been a legit threat. Does
the restaurant have to close down? Did they stop the
(35:06):
live music? Did we ruin everybody's Friday night because this
woman's making empty threats? But how run would everyone's Friday
night would have been? Oh, Bobby, I've already thought if
something were to happen that I would feel a really
heavy weight like that would be crazy. But I think
speaking of crazy, I don't know crazy people do. That's
what that's also what I mean. I don't know how
(35:26):
you cops. It'd be like I just heard a woman
threatened that a restaurant. That's yeah, like what should we do?
Maybe maybe they don't go to the restaurant, but they
go to her house and just be like ma'am, like
you gotta chill out. Yeah, no, no, now you gotta
chill out if you're just starting to shoot up. Remember,
these shootings are happening everywhere, and if people are not
hearing and not reporting things that they hear, all my
(35:48):
husband and I were like, whoa, Like, this is guys
walking different way home? We did because I don't want
to go backward. But Eddie, it's weird. It's a place,
the lunchlocks, where y'all go. Oh I like them. Yeah,
I know it's good. Oh it's so good. It's so good.
But man, but next time you have to report that. Yeah,
you're right, I know you. What's the chance one if
that one happens and you knew and you didn't report it?
(36:10):
I know? And then I thought, what if we were
supposed to hear that? Because what are the odds that
we're walking by that exact moment that she walks out
to yell mother, it was a singer and just not good.
Go no. And then we started, once we got a
certain distance away, we're like, okay, how loud is this
because she really be hearing it? And then yeah, I
mean we were trying to think of all sorts of things,
and it really was like six pm, so there was
really nothing for her to be worked up about. It
was midnight. I mean, I'd be a little annoyed, but
(36:33):
I don't threaten to shoot anybody. Okay, what do we
learn here? We learned that we should have called the police. Yeah,
if you see something, If yeah, you're right all the
time in general, you're right, see something, say something worse
than it happens is they go check it out and
nothing's gonna come of it. Right, Maybe she doesn't even
haven't done Yeah, hopefully probably does. What's it coming up
inside the pile? I hope not. Well, there's been a
major recall, and I feel like a lot of people
(36:54):
might have this in their fridge and they need to
get it out for in their pantry. I know I'm
gonna have people would put it in the fridge and
pantry sometimes. Yeah, you can't catch up in the pantry
of the fridge. I think it depends on how the
laziest place I can put it, because like I put
it in the in the fridge, but it restaurants it's
(37:14):
out on the tables, but restaurants go through it faster
than we do. Yeah. Possibly, And peanut butter butter is
always in the fridge. I don't eat peanut butter. It's true,
you don't, So I don't know. I went out with
the girl recently who eats no condiments ever, what's like
she hates condiments? Catch up mustard manna. She's like, I'm
so anti condiments. She's like, taste of Indio brant nothing,
(37:35):
Isn't that crazy? Well, she's missing out on so much
your Amy's pile of stories. So one of four people
still have momentos from a past relationship, like no matter
where they are, and they're really like it. Maybe they've
been married twenty years, but they've got a box somewhere
that's got their old relationship in there. I would think
(37:58):
if it would be more than one and four. I
have little thing is that I've kept for practical reasons
like I had a girlfriend wants to give me his
bucket that had a bunch of like notes and stuff
in it, and it was like treats. I just use
it for change now. But I see it, I think
about it all. I'm like, oh, yeah, I forgot about
that girlfriend. I have a few of those momento type things,
which I found this to be weird because women seem
more sentimental, but men are twice as likely as women
(38:21):
to hold onto love letters from their exes. Yeah, I
don't have a bunch of love letters. Is that something
we're missing out on now that there's like texting an email?
Felt like did people write love letters anymore? I got
one once I held onto it. I think probably like
three years into my marriage. I found it and I
was like, I guess I don't need to keep this anymore,
so because it was from an ex boyfriend, so I
threw it away. No, I threw it away. But now
(38:44):
I'm like, why did I throw it away? Like it's
not bad? So what are you thinking about love letters? Yes?
Or no? I mean I think that they're they're awesome.
When I got that letter in the mail, like he
handwrote it and mailed it to me snail mail. I
liked it a lot, so I kind of missed it.
I think we need to bring it back. So you
miss that someone would take the time, and I'm going
somewhere with this, take a time, and they would write
(39:04):
out their feelings, spend time doing it on a piece
of paper. You like all that, right? Yeah? Thank you.
Remember a Valentine's Day when I gave my ex girlfriend
a big letter three pages? You gave her the gift
of communication? Yeah, I wrote all my thoughties down. No no, no,
no no, don't we change it now? You hate it
on me? Is hating? Yes? And you were like, you
(39:26):
got a communication? You loser? You did? You did? It?
Was that? You were like, no, let's check the tape. Yeah,
here's here's a club of me talking about it three
years ago. Here it is, and play, Amy, I can't
believe you hate that letter that I just gave her yesterday.
There it is. That's the tape. Wait, where's the audio
of me? I didn't have that. There was no audio.
I just did Bobby communication? So sweet? All right? What else? Amy? Okay?
(39:51):
So parents, listen up. Or maybe if you're someone that
doesn't like to swallow pills because there's adults that I
know they cannot swallow pills like they have to do cheobls,
and they're like thirty years old. Well, guess what doctors
say for kids and maybe even grown ups that don't
know how to swallow a pill. Start with like little
pieces of candy and it'll help get your swallow your
(40:12):
muscle memory wait for it, not like a big old
where there's originally Roger okay, no, but you start small
with like a sprinkle like that would be on a
candycate or like a nerd. It's a nerd, but gets
your throat used to that feeling of like you're swallowing something,
and then you can work up to the pill size.
So maybe start there, because I'm sure as an adult
(40:33):
it's embarrassing to not be able to swallow a pill.
A sprinkle, I mean choke. I don't even know about swallows. Teacher,
take a piece of sand, I think, no, you put
in the little nerd. Then you take a big sip
of water, swish it around, and then that's the wrong
(40:55):
way to swallow. Swishing it you put on the very
back of your top. Because this from a dog. I
can swallow pills of no water. Wow, that's it. That's hardcore. Yeah.
What you do is you put on the very very
very very bad part of your tongue and as you
move your tongue back, it goes as far back into
your throat as possible. You just have a little spit
that you kind of gather. Okay, move, swallow, it's gone.
(41:17):
All right. So yeah, I'm pretty hardcore, but I just
try you myself. Don't do it. Need water, I don't
need one. I guess dogs can do that too, But
don't swish it because then it goes everywhere and it's
not in your near your throat. So listen to doctor me.
I'm gonna try that. Oh no, no, don't just try
for trying it like, well, there's a tip, sure you
(41:37):
know the swallow bills. And then the recall that I
wanted to tell you all about is a flower recall.
It's expanded to include Pillsbury Doughboy. Pillsbury has flowers. Yeah,
the flower cooking and flowers, baking flower like flowers. Get
it feels okay? So I had not personally heard of
this recall. So that's why I'm like, whoa other people
(41:58):
need to know? Because I do have flower my entry.
A recall is growing over fears of kali contamination and
King Arthur another popular brand. All these Baker's Corner brands,
they're all part of it. And now you can add
Pillsbury to the list. So you know what happened to
be that bad flower? Though? Well has koali? If has coal,
what happens? The same thing is if you ate spinage
(42:19):
with koli? Right, yeah, that kali? Does that make you
do throw up? I think we throw up? Yeah, just
stomach that I mess up? Yeah, Amy, thank you very
much for all that about Phil Way smarter Now yeah, okay,
maybe that's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news. Ay. So there's a
(42:41):
World War Two veteran John Frey turning one hundred and
one years old. So his family was like, you know,
we would love to get him one hundred and one
birthday cards from all over. They expected to get maybe
five hundred at the most. Well, his birthday was just
celebrated and ended up receiving five thousand cards wow, from
(43:03):
all over fifty states, twelve countries. Entire classrooms of children,
military veterans, elected officials. They wanted to wish this former
mechanic from the US Army a happy birthday, you know.
And not that it's the most positive thing what someone
does pass away, but whenever you'll see someone go, hey,
this person was a veteran, they passed away. They don't
have a lot of family. Would people just show up?
And then like a thousand people show up? I love
(43:24):
those stories. Yeah, you hate to see someone pass away.
That does happen, and the stories are like, they don't
have a lot of family, but it would be cool.
And then just sees of people show up just to respect,
Like that story is awesome. Those stories are awesome, man.
And I mean that's what it's all about right there.
That's what this whole segment is all about. That was
tell me something good. Was the latest from Nashville and
(43:47):
Tullywood Morgan Number two thirty second Skinny and Shanaia Toyne
announced a Las Vegas residency called Let's Go at Zappo's
Theater and Planet Hollywood, and it's expected to last about
two years, kicking off on December six. That's the goal
to get one of those stay in the same plays
and get paid like that. Yeah, that'd be good. I
would go to that if I'm in Vegas. What else?
(44:09):
Garth Brooks and Blake Shellen have a new song out
together today and it's called Dive Bar, and Garth says
the song is expected to be on his new album
fun Coach to Coach Billing Star that's coming out. We're
playing about one minute the whole song in the deep,
(44:32):
all right? What else? And then Walker Hayes revealed that
he still shops at Costco for his family's groceries, and
they rack up about an eight hundred dollars monthly bill,
which includes about six gallons of milk, three dozen eggs,
and then some impulsive purchases. Has three dozen kids. Yeah,
Walker used to work at Costco even when he was
doing music. He was working at Costco for a while. So, well,
(44:54):
there you go. I'm working number two. THAT'SO skinny. I
hope did you Noboddy and mister Bobby Bone But this
is a Bobby right. I'm gonna play that new Garth
(45:14):
Brooks and Blake Shelton in just one second. First morning, Corny,
what type of doctor works after hours? What kind of
doctor works after hours? And on call? A Just that
(45:35):
was the morning Corny sweet home said video on my Instagram. Yes,
so fun jealous, Yes I was. I was like, dang,
I could have been a background answer. You know, that's
one of my dreams I do because timber lights background answer.
If you go over to my instagram, mister Bobby Bones,
(45:58):
Kaylee Hammock, who's that new artist? And myself did this
dance with him? And so it's got like two hundred
thousand views since last night. And I was kind of
embarrassed because I didn't probably my dancing was that good
and make funny faces the whole time. Yeah, but even
doing that since scenes with the Stars, but I didn't
make Dancing with the Stars faces because I was being
like conscious, I'm not opening my mouth, but then I
(46:20):
look like I'm either using the bathroom or angry. Look
at my face, mister Bobby Bones on Instagram if you
want to check that out. What did you do yesterday?
I finally worked out for the first time and forever,
so it felt good. What was wrong with you? I
don't know, I will not forever. But I took a
few days off. Normally I don't take three days where
I do like nothing, and so it just felt good
to be strong again. So I'm back in the group feeling,
(46:41):
you know, like I'm ready to work out? What about
you got a new couch. They finally brought it, which
furniture is so expensive and dumb. I had a fine couch,
but it was like a circle like a croissant, you
know the circle croissant. Yeah, yeah, and you can't lay
on a croissant. Back hurts, right, and so I felt
like my back and I never in my living room.
(47:01):
So I said, okay, I'm gonna get an ell couch.
And so I got this couch and then I have
no excuse now. So I don't sleep well sometimes and
when I some of that is because I'm always in
my bedroom when I'm home. And if I'm always in
my bed, my bed's never this like oasis to just
go and sleep. It's just a normal chair. Yeah. I
(47:21):
eat in my bed sometimes. I watched TV in my bed.
Everything I do is in my bedroom. So I got
this couch. It's on my answer story. But I just
sat on the couch and worked last night on the
computer and I was riding some stuff. But they got
a new couch. They brought it over. They fit in
the door, thank god. But yeah, furniture is so expensive,
so that was that was the highlight of my day.
I worked out, I got on the bike. Yeah, I
(47:43):
do that whole deal. So you do your motivational speech.
It was that motivational speech. It was like, not really,
here's if I know I'm gonna work out, or if
you know you have to go to work, or if
you know there's something that's not pleasant in your day
you have to do and you're going to do it.
My thing was just get started right now, because if
you have to do it, you can't have to do
it anyway. You might as well get started because it's
over with faster and you have the whole rest of
(48:04):
day it feel proud of yourself. And also just to
be done with it. I don't want to exercise. I
don't like exercise, and almost like you know what, I
know I'm gonna work out, so I'm just gonna get going.
I encourage you to do the same thing with whatever
unpleasant activity you have to do, because you're gonna do
it anyway and to be over faster. That See, that's
a motivational speech. That's a practical talk. Okay, more than
a I'm not making you feel great. I'm just like, well,
(48:25):
if I have to do it anyway, I might as
well get started right now. That makes sense. Are you motivated?
I bet? I bet people were motivated to get up
and work out or go to work. You know, if
you have to go to if you get to pick
when you go into work, or if you work. Oh
we never go in. Oh oh yeah your job, Eddie?
All right, Garth Brooks is coming in. I'm in the
(48:46):
next five minutes, I believe. Let's let's go over it.
Raymondos are they here yet? It's Garth here? He is here?
Of course is here. He's Garth Brooks. Of course he is. Wow, superstar.
If there's like one person that could be late, it
could be Garth get up tomorrow and we'd be like,
it's fine, Garth. The opposite of what you're talking about.
Eddie is not coming, just won't come in, and we'd
be like, you're all good, gud think if it's anybody else,
(49:08):
Bobby's like on the Bobby Bones Show. Now Garth Brooks,
he's walking down the hall. Now Harry comes. Harry is
there's the door opening there is cut your hands for
our friend in yours America's sweetheart. What up, buddy? How
(49:29):
are you doing good. Have seen right there. It's our
temporary studio. You. This is all right. He's just coming
to hug you, but well it's temporarily. No hugs. Good.
How are you? Oh? No, oh, he's walking back. What's
what's he doing? I don't know. I'm getting that. Yes,
thank you, Thanks, listen, look at you you morning. What's
it like when you wake up with new music? It's
still exciting after you know, all the massive success you had.
(49:52):
It's always fun man. So new music, old music, it
doesn't matter. You're just getting to play. You know. We
had a song called the Old Stuff and just said,
uh no rules, young fools coming from the old schools,
begging for a place to play. And that's that's I
think that's basically who we still are. How long did
you do this song? Um? I'm always curious about when
this thing actually happens and when we get to hear it.
(50:12):
You got a call from mitro cell about January of
last year and said, hey, man, I want to write
a song called the Deep End of a Dive Bar.
I said, well, you got to spend the weekend of
the deep end of a dive bar and that's where
it started. And so you made him going and living
a or like, what's that? What's that actor's name? Eddie? Yeah,
you made him Daniel d Lewis a dive bar. Yeah, yeah,
I guess so, Daniel day Lewis and mitro cell I've
(50:34):
never made that connection, but now I can't look at it.
You can come and Blake Shelton. How do you get
him on? Do you text him? Do you have to
make call him? Yeah? Man, I saw him on the
ACMs and he was doing God's Country and just something
in his face, you know, it's just it was. I
thought it was one of the greatest performances of the night.
So I just called him up. Uh And he's a
sweet guy and it's amazing how comfortable you get with him.
But you know, we were raised like forty miles away
(50:54):
from each other, so um, it's cool. Ask him if
you'd ever think about doing a duet. He said sure
and came in and sang his butt off, kind of
hit it in one take, and that wasn't fun. So
we just kept singing it over and over again, you know,
and that that was He's fun to hang with. Garth
Brooks is here. Wait, so you guys actually did it?
In the same same place. Yeah, sang it together. Yeah,
they're at Allentown right here in Nashville. Look at you guys,
(51:15):
how like traditionally cool that you sing it together. And
then he's one of the fancy computers the kids are. Yeah, man,
Blake's Blake's pretty much as real as it gets. Just
came in just you know, We're in a ball cap
and a sweatshirt and stepped right up to mic. Course
we had to raise the mic up about seven football,
you know. But it was great, man, it was fun
to watch. I was talking to Trisha, Yeah, I guess
(51:37):
a couple weeks ago, and she was talking about how
much you let to play like horse basketball in your
yard and she said, just pretty good? Still true or false? Yeah?
I like to play basketball. Is it your own hoopto like?
Are you good at your own hoop? Are you good
at all the hoops? Um? Well, I don't know. I
mean you can tell me. They call me rain Man
from the Ark, they call me Picasso and the paint.
Other than that them, Other than that, you're Yeah. When
(51:59):
when over people lay basketball with you, gartho or do
they take it easy on you because you're Garth Brooks
and if they you know, if they go a little
too hard on you, a little too body banging down,
you know, Oh, nobody takes it easy. Oh man, that's
that's the fun of it. And they you know, look
at me. I haven't missed any meals, so I can
take it. Garth Brooks is here. I have a segment
that we're gonna call Garth Brooks Urban Legends. And we've
heard a lot of things and mostly they're all awesome
(52:22):
and we're like, that can't be true. Okay, So what
I want to do is ask you about it. And
they even have a little clip here Urban Legend. Now,
this all roots from when we asked you last time
if you really signed autographs for twenty four hours at
a time and that one and you said yes, yes,
and you said if they're they're waiting, you're gonna be
there and will Yeah, that's in front of it. Love it.
So because of that we've had all these stories. The
(52:44):
first one in Garth Brooks Urban Legends legend. So the
urban legend is is that you refuse to accept the
AMA for Artists of the Year because Hoodie and the
Blokefish deserved it them. Salt and Pepper boys to man,
they were all tearing it up and we had kind
of taken the year off and thought it was sweet
(53:06):
of the Amas to get it to it, but an
honor of those guys. Yeah, I left there. It's at
the house, though. I just I had to have to
confess it found its way to me. But so, well
you so you left it there, but theyn't mailing you
on anyway. Yeah, they just ended up sent it to me.
So did you did you like break it or like
what happened? Well, it's it's not. It's cool. It's it's
very sweet that they did that to me. It just
(53:27):
I didn't felt, you know. I just sometimes you feel like, okay,
maybe maybe we do maybe this was our year, And
then sometimes you're going, man, this wasn't our year at all.
Somehow it was like a popular vote or something, and
it might have been a time when you know, like
country music like always has the largest, most loyal audience.
So I just I felt like it got in the
wrong hands that year and just kind of spoke up
(53:48):
and uh, just I don't know. I remember an interview
that Trisha year would right happ because it was a
very guard thing to do, and I thought, what the
hell does that so? Uh, but it's um, it was
just yeah, that did happen. Okay, here's another one urban legend.
On Saturday, October twenty first of the year two thousand,
Garth Brooks evacuates children from fire's path. Tell me about
(54:12):
that one sure of fall. Yeah, man just had a
big just had a big fire over a thing, And
me and Ted Larkin and emm and Gillham jumped out
of the truck and just started going house to house
and it was it was, you know, just be prepared
when you kick in the door, be prepared for what
you're gonna see inside. It was one kid in the
bathub and you know, they but got him out and uh,
(54:32):
it wasn't saving anybody's life by any chance. But then
the story, of course, then grows from there, it becomes
urban legends. But he kicked in the door. Yeah, oh yeah,
no house got burned out there. I mean the fire
departments here in Oklahoma, especially the volunteer guys, they're they're awesome,
all of them. They had a cover right because you
rolled on all of them, rolled them all out, all right,
(54:55):
Garth Brooks. Urban legends, do you have some you originally
sang Friends in Low Places as a demo for another artist,
true false, Yes, by that I got to sing it.
They called a I'm a Straight fan, huge George Straight fan.
So they said, we got a song we want to
pitch to George Straight. It's great, I'm in. They sent
(55:15):
me Friends in Low Places. I learned it, sang it,
and just as I was heading out the door, I said, hey,
you know, I'm about to get a deal with Capitol Records,
so if this never happens, you know, let me know. So, yeah, thanks,
we'll call you. And it was probably a year later
they said, hey, man, you remember doing a song called
Friends of Little Places. I said, I sing it every day.
We were even on the road, and I said, I'm
singing it out on the road all the time. It
(55:35):
would you like to take a swing in it? And said, hell, yeah,
that's that's a I can't imagine my career without this one.
So far, they've all been right, Okay, let's Garth Brooks
once paid a songwriter ten thousand dollars after not recording
a song. Yeah yeah, I mean, well, if it's just
me and you're talking somewhere else, we'll talk about it.
(55:57):
It was. It wasn't for any other reasons good enough
for me. One more? What was the other one that
we just talked about a couple days ago with Garth.
It was in on this dand country music, There's one more,
and I was like, I'm gonna come. You don't know,
you wouldn't know. You know, I've been every day. It's
like every day you just look at this guy. There
(56:20):
was one other Garth Brooks urban legend story I wanted
to talk about, but well, listen, I did see your
Denver picture where there were like eighty thousand plus people
in that stadium. Unbelievable. I wish I could even describe
it to you. It was like an out of a
body experience for me. I just kind of watched. It
was crazy. The band was on, crowd was on. It's
just one of those magic moments, and hey man, I
thought I was gonna pass out. And then somebody finally
(56:42):
reminded me of the altitude up there. But that's why
it was. It was phenomenal. It was fun. Whenever you
have that many people, Oh, here we go. I got it.
I was just handed the note that we talked about
um so thirty one years ago before your record deal.
You were playing in clubs in Oklahoma. I tell me
if this is true or not. And you go to
Nashville and you go to Capitol Records. You got an audition,
(57:04):
you played several songs, and they passed on you. Okay,
so far true? Yes, And so then you're like, all right,
I'm not gonna give up. And you go back and
you do a writer from a Bluebird Cafe and the
same You're supposed to play ninth, but somebody didn't show upright,
So then you get their spot and you hop in
a second spot. But somebody from Capital Record sees you
play there who had rejected you earlier, the same company,
(57:24):
and then they wanted you. Is that true? Yes? That
is true. One. So Lynn Schultz was a guy Capital
that came up to Bob and said would we leave it?
Bob said, I thank you. I think you told us
you would get back with us. It was a sweet
way for Bob to say you passed on us. And
the guy, I said, maybe we miss something. Bring him in.
The cat's name was Ralph Murphy. That was supposed to
go on there. Ralph just passed away the last couple
of weeks. He's in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
(57:46):
Great guy, great artists, and we I always hug him
every day every time I saw him, because you know,
it wn't for Ralph Murphy, I wouldn't have my deal.
So I don't know if things always end up, you know,
the way they're supposed to or not. That's your That's
how it happened for me. Look at this, that's all
of them. Yes, yeah, you are the You're gonna ask
me if my wife was former military, because she was.
(58:08):
Did you heard that one right? Yeah? We all were
shocked by that, even her. That's why we got married
because I was so proud you was former militant. Then
find out it's not true. What happened to Amy was
and I was so embarrassed because I didn't know this
about Tricia and it said she was in the Air Force,
and I was like, Trisia, I was embarrassed to bring
this up because I didn't know. She's like, that's not true,
and I was like, oh, then I was embarrassed. I
(58:30):
didn't know even that that was wrong. It was the
whole thing was just embarrassing. You think you were embarrassed
that I didn't actually thought she did. Yeah, I was
just embarrassed all the way right test and then she
googled it too, and she's like, it also says this
about me here too. So um, let me ask you
about this real quick. This this fun the record? Yeah,
what what's what's up? What's this thing? What's the deal?
(58:50):
This whole new record you're you're putting out? It's funny man,
how records you know, because of radio and stuff, you
might get one single off the stuff. So I thought
what we'd do this time is get two or three
singles before you were really the record. So fund's coming
this summer and nothing like dive Bar to kind of
cap off the fun for it. But uh, it's, um,
it's been a blast making a record. There's songs like
party girl on it and it's hard way to make
(59:11):
a party girl. Yeah, party It's it's just a fun record.
It's it's it's stupid fun and and so it's kind
of build for the summer, built for the lake, and uh,
but what I like about it it's it's it's gonna
be fun for a long long time. All right, Garth
Brooks is here, I'm gonna play dive Bar. This is
a song that you've heard. I think we've played it
four times already played. People can't get enough of it. Well,
(59:32):
it's Blake's birthday to day, so don't you think it's
um pretty cool? I mean, I'm more of a Garth fan.
I'm just kidd out. I love Blake. I'm gonna here's
a dive bar Garth. It's always good to see him,
my friend, come in these uh these doors. But we'll
be next time you come, we'll be out of here.
We'll be in the real studio and we can hug
all day long. Like we didn't get a good hug
it today. But I'm alright, I'll fix that for a
(59:53):
little well boy, all right, all right, here we go.
I love how Garth answer question I asked him. I
was like, hey, is this story true about you paid
ten thousand dollars to a guy because you didn't record
a song? It goes you know, that's a story we'll
talk about just me and you off the are And
I was like, cool, I'm moving on. I'm gonna start
doing that with people want to ask me a question
that I don't want to answer it. It was a
perfect way to get out of it because I'm sure
(01:00:14):
you didn't want to. I don't know what the story is. Yeah,
it just urban legend I'd read about. And so somebody's
gonna be like, hey, Bobby, I'll be like, you know what,
Frank here on the NPR podcast me and you haven't drink. Later,
I'll tell you about that all the here. It just
disarmed me, and I was like, hey, once I'm a friend,
I'll moved to the next question. Basically, is never gonna
tell you it's fantastic. Yeah, we still don't know. Yeah,
(01:00:34):
we don't even care, but it's awesome. Yeah, guard's best
to go back. If you missed the interview, listen to it,
go to Bobby Bones Show on demand. After the show,
so many folks here on the show went to watch
Toy Story four yesterday, Morgan number two went, Mike d
went and like a Monday night movie and so we'll
get some movie reviews here, which, by the way, this
(01:00:56):
Ballad of the Lonesome Cowboy for Chris Stableton. I just
played this normally, I don't even watch I've never seen
Toy Story, but I love from the movie Morgan number two.
It's not in it. It's at the very end during
the credits Okay, so tell me about Toy Story four.
I cried at the end. Yeah, if it's really good,
(01:01:18):
and bo Peep makes a really big role in this one,
which bo people really hasn't in very many of them,
Like she has a role, but this one, Like she's
a really big character. And I love bo Peep she
has They're a little sheep, and she's kind of awesome
in this movie. Mike, what do you think about this?
Did you guys go together? Did you guys randomly go
separately by yourself? I sat with Eddie. Yeah you went
(01:01:39):
to dude, that took the whole family. Oh, all my kids,
me and my wife and Mike d all in one row.
I was there alone, and then I saw Eddie and
his family and I want to go stay with them. Oh,
you were just in the theater alone. I invited them, like,
Mike d come on, calm make it look cooler a
little bit, Mikey, what you think? I thought it was great,
Like the first original Toy Story is my favorite Disney movie,
So this one was awesome, Eddie, it was awesome. Yeah, dude,
(01:02:02):
it was really good. I mean, honestly, I can't really
remember too much of Toy Story one, two or three.
But this stands on its own. I loved it. I
didn't cry on anything, but it was good. Is it
better than free Solo? Of course? No, no, no, no, no,
it's not better than free solo. Free solo is good.
That's good. I'm many What kind of what do you
give it? Might d on the rating system. I give
(01:02:23):
it a four out of four Lost Toys. I thought
about doing that. I didn't know if that was giving
it away, but yeah, I thought about doing lost toys
four out of four, Lost Toys out four and a
half out of four. I'd say it's really that's more
than give it four and a half out of four. Yes, no,
no you can't. Oh I thought out of five three
and a half out of four. Then okay, yeah, okay,
this is Eddie surprising is five year old with Toy
(01:02:45):
Story four tickets? Is that right? Yeah? He didn't know.
What's the one thing you've been wanting to do? Watch
Toy Story four? How long have you been wanting to
do that? Since Christmas? When the trailer came out? Okay,
and when are you gonna watch it? It's Friday? Okay,
what's out of the TV? Yeah, he looks really is
(01:03:05):
that today? That's today? What is this? What does it saying?
I'm gonna waiting for this for a long time, for
a very long time. I just didn't know how to
I don't know how to explain my emotions. I'm struck. Yeah,
he didn't say anything for a little bit. O worried.
I am going talking. Okay, boys go get ready. Okay.
(01:03:30):
So you did not explain his emotions. I heard that
he said, he struck. You take the foster kids, and
then we took them all off and the baby, which
I had to step out of the theater for about
I don't know, thirty minutes of the movie, which I
watched in the wing. Just didn't want to disrupt anyone
watching the advanced screening. What's that? The oldest foster I
get think about going to movies and doing stuff like that,
he's never got to do it. Oh that's awesome. I
(01:03:51):
mean I think now he feels like it's part of life,
because my eleven year old has to watch every single
movie that comes out, cartoon movie. So now you know,
our foster kids like, all right, it's part of life.
New movie. We gotta go watch it too. They catch
on real quick. They're real quick. That's fine. Hello, everybody
loved it. How we got the watchers here? You all
loved it? Toy Story four. Now I've got friends coming
(01:04:18):
out on How about Tom Hanks and Tom Allen? Are
their voices older or do they sound like the same?
They sound the same, don't they, guys? Yeah, Yeah, exact same, man.
I'm wrong, you're wrong. I listened this alone. I was like,
you knew that song too. I'm not kidding. I just
(01:04:38):
listened to this without knowing anything about the toy stories.
You haven't seen any of them. But that's a good song.
It's time for the good news good Stranded at the airport,
Nineteen year old Keiana is trying to get back to
her university for finals, and she stuck at the airport.
Can't get a flight, can't afford a flight and a
(01:04:59):
pilot United Let here's her predicament. It says, you know what,
here's my credit card, buy your flight back to the university.
Gets her back to college. Wow, they know who that
pilot is. Yeah, his name is Robert Fonty. I've noticed
that some of these pilots sometimes are coming out more
and talking to us, which I like. Once they pretty
much canceled our flight, and the pilot walks out and goes,
here's the deal, folks, we can try, but there's a
(01:05:21):
slight chance we won't make it. Slight chance like we'll
probably make it, but there's a slight chance. How many erasing, man,
if you want to take that chance. And we're all like, oh,
we're not mad anymore. The pilot came out and talked
to us like adult humans, and it kind of disarmed everybody.
I like these pilots doing things all right, thank you
very much. We diverted last week. We had to go
to a different airport. I've never had that happen before.
(01:05:41):
And the pilot was like, we're a bad out of gas. Guys,
what do he mean? Make it? Like make it? Make it?
I don't know, live, I have no idea. Yeah, shout out,
what's that guys? Name again? Lunchbox? Robert Fonty, Robert Fonti
shout out, that's what it's all about. That was tell
me something good. My lunchbox wants to spill the tea
on somebody on the show. Let's spill the tea. It's
(01:06:02):
just gossip. It's just what you tell on somebody. And
he's requested that he have a minute to do, so lunchbox,
it's all you. So Bobby gets mad at a certain
someone all the time during the show because they're not
paying attention. And Bobby all the time, okay ninety five
percent of the time and always says say hey, hey,
and he kind of snaps to get their attention. And
that person is Amy, and I busted her a few
(01:06:23):
weeks back, why we were on air. She's online shopping
and that's why she's never paying attention to Bobby. And
I know it's gonna be like, oh, no way, no way,
she would never do that. But I have the picture
evidence of her credit card out, her her earphones in,
and her give me the death look, like why are
you busting me shopping? Look at that credit card out,
(01:06:49):
headphones in? And she always got her headphones in when
we're on the air. So, folks, that's not true. I
have my headphones in when we're in a song break,
and I could be buying something during a songbreak. And
should we talk about how you're literally on your computer
the entire show. Well, yeah, but I only come in
some of the times. That's what I'm saying. This is
photo evidence, No you don't have any evidence. I was
shopping during the show during say that's that's nothing. That's
(01:07:11):
creepy and it's weird, and why are you taking pictures
of me? And that's nothing. I mean, do you see
the credit card post that because that's my credit card. Well,
I can blurt out the word okay, well evidence out
there for the Okay, that's not evidence because there's like
song breaks and all kinds of breaks, and I think
(01:07:32):
I could have been booking a flight or maybe don't
in a charity oh for lunchbox. So yeah, that I'll
be returning. Listen. We do have issue Amy and I
talked about it on the last bobbycast. Yeah, where sometimes
I can't get her attention. We're in the middle of
talking on the air and she's not. But that's just her.
(01:07:53):
I wouldn't want to change what makes you you? Yeah,
but you just got you just got spilled on. That's
the tea. You feel better, lunchbod feels good. Tools. Let's
just spill Gary and Marylyn. What's up? How's it doing, Bobby?
Pretty studio? Pretty good? Everybody good? Everybody good here? Yeah? Good? Gary?
What's up with you? Buy? Not much to this? One
to call and say thanks for you know, you guys
(01:08:13):
be in transpirational and helping me get up out of
bed in the morning and face the world every day.
And you guys make each and every morning that I
faced at work out a whole lot easier. And I
feel like I'm listening to a group of friends and
you guys keep me laughing all day long. So I
just wanted to keep let you guys know how much
I appreciate it. All right, appreciate I appreciate that call.
Thank you, by the way, why he was talking out
to wave with Amy to pay attention. She gets on
(01:08:35):
her computer starts typing right in the middle we're all
on the air, Like, what could you have possibly be writing?
Cancel that flight? No, I do need to change a flight.
Oh really, what could you have possibly been on your
computer while we're on the air right then? Yeah, I know,
I don't know. Okay, could you possibly want to answer?
I got an email about a Mother's Day meet and
gree that I'm doing here at the station, and she
replied Tuesday, And I was like, did she meet Thursday?
(01:08:57):
So literally, as the middle of quickly typing do you
mean Thursday? When his Mother's Day. That's next year. It's
a Mother's Day giveaway. We did here at the station,
but in the middle of a sea. I know, I know.
I'm sorry. It was a quick thing. So do you
change your verdict? I do. I hate to have to
take your computer away from you while we're on the air. Okay,
(01:09:21):
I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I literally I thought it would
be super fast. All I meant to type was do
you mean Thursday? And that's all I typed. Then I
had to type out and took me longer. Take it. No,
I'm not gonna take it. But do you see where
the frustration could come from? I do, yes, all right,
I mean I am not the only person on my computer.
I will not be singled out. But it happened like
(01:09:44):
he literally called you out, and then I went to
any just right back on a computer. I thought I
could send the email fast. You're right, I know. I
just saw and I was like, I meant Thursday. Okay, Alie,
I don't email. I don't have I got nothing open.
I got all focus on, right, you don't. All right,
(01:10:05):
maybe you go to the coast. Okay, now the songs.
I'm gonna take a little break and take your go
to the coast. I listen to the show called Get
Real with Caroline Hobby. It's podcast that I enjoy and
she talks to a lot of the wives of country stars,
but she also talks to other awesome women in the industry.
And so this week she has like Katie Cook, who's
(01:10:26):
been on CMTU for over twenty years, and it's interesting
because she talks about some of the artists that she's interviewed.
And she did Q and A with Dolly Pardon with
a live audience, and Dolly recognized the girl who asked
a question who had been in her house digging around
her trash. Here listen to this. Dolly answered her question
and then she said I know you and girl said no,
I don't think so she goes, no, I know you.
I've got you on camera going through my trash. And
(01:10:48):
then she just looked at me. She goes, you know,
somebody loves you when they go through your trash. She
let her know, I know exactly who you are, and
I know you're a little intense, but I'm going to
be classy and we're going to keep this conversation going
and everything's gonna be okay, crazy Oh wow, that's nuts. Yeah,
it's nuts. It's such a good podcast. She also talked
about the time she made fund of Blake Shelton's mullet
(01:11:08):
on TV. First time I met Blake, I had made
fun of him on Live TV, said something about his mullet.
And then the first time I met him was like
a couple of weeks later at the Opry and he
got in the elevator and I was like, Oh, Hi,
I'm Katie Cook. I'm really excited to me because I
don't know who you are making fun of my mullet
on Live TV Katie Cook. And I was just like,
oh my god, I love you. I'll give you one
(01:11:29):
more clip. It's so good. It's called Get Real with
Caroline Hobby. She said one of her favorite interviews with
Faith Hill on twenty six or twenty two thousand and six.
Remember when that controversy happened with Faith Hill made the
face after Harry Underwood one Female of the Year. Anybody
who knows Faith knows that that was totally Faith joking around.
She's a very funny person and she kids around a lot.
(01:11:49):
But all that had gone down and some of my
crew guys were back there with her and they're like, oh, yeah,
she was totally cutting up. She was just being hysterical,
like yeah, like how anybody could take that seriously? Still
to this day blows my mind. Yeah. Check out Get
Real with Caroline Hobby on iHeartRadio. It is a really
good podcast. The one with Walker Hayes's wife Lanny was
so good last week where she talked about a lot
of funny stuff but also you know when heavy stuff. Yeah,
(01:12:12):
really heavy stuff about their last baby that didn't make
it through delivery or maybe made it through I'm not
sure exactly, but yeah, well yeah, she shares how it
all went down, but basically, yeah, great podcast, Get Real
with Caroline Hobby. They arrested a fake George Clooney in Thailand.
(01:12:33):
An Italian man accused of posing as George Clooney was
arrested after a year's on the run. His name was
Francesco gal Deli, fifty eight years old. He had sold
a bunch of money. They said he'd do people have
more than one hundred twenty thousand dollars, which is crazy.
How closely looked to George Clooney. Not really. Yeah, let
(01:12:57):
me see what it looks like giving money, huh. Like
it doesn't like George Clooney sounds like Gomer Pile from
Andy gruppin his voice. Maybe, well, yeah, they got him,
and you got one hundred and twenty thousand dollars from people.
You know, a lot of these fake accounts. They'll be
like fake me accounts on Instagram. If it's like Bobby
(01:13:19):
One official, that's not me. I was with the Ray
Mundo the other day. We were at the ball game
and he's like, hey, man, is your account Boby Bones Official?
I just got a message you just And I was like, no,
that's it's one of those spam accounts. I've gotten a
few notes like that from you and you're asking for
money and it's weird. But if they only get one person,
even at a thousand, like they got it. Yeah, So
that's what they do. It's a numbers game with those people.
(01:13:41):
But they're also in other countries. I've been told it's
like these farms they call him farms and like South
Africa or Russia, and it's people going to all the
blue check markin people. So look, if Tim McGraw sends
you a message one maybe it's Tim, maybe it's not.
But look at us page and see if there's a
blue check mark, because it's happening with a lot of
the country stars as well. And if Timmer girls asking
(01:14:01):
for money, I usually give it to him. I think
he's doing fine, just in case. We went to the
College World Series, Amy's husband, Raymundo, myself and Amy sent
me a text before the game. She was like, Hey,
what are you wearing? Talking to me because she didn't
you didn't know how to ask. He didn't know how
to ask. He wanted to know if he should wear
like shorts like people are going to be is the
more casual like joggers, jeans? Like what are people wearing?
(01:14:25):
So he was getting ready and I said, well, you
should just text Bobby and ask him. He's like, I
can't text Bobby and ask him what he's wearing. Like
he couldn't. So that's why you got a text for
me that I was like, Hey, what are you wearing?
And it was for him because he couldn't do it.
And I'm like, is this a thing with guys? Because
girls have no issue with that. We text each other
all the time, what are you wearing? What are we
supposed to wear? Like it's no big deal. We send
(01:14:45):
pictures I'm wearing this. Do you think we help each
other out? But he just didn't think he could reach
out to you. I wouldn't have a problem. I would say,
we're in jeans, were in shorts. But yeah, I get
he's a little manlier, a little more masculine than we are.
We just an awe. We all probably were sitting with them,
talking with them, and he's talking about like Afghanistan and
(01:15:05):
all the manly stuff he does. I'm saying, like too much.
He didn't have to You don't have to say anything.
He's pretty much guy just smiles at you and you're like, dang, Yeah,
I wish I could be mainly like that big bear.
He's to text you see what you're wearing? Hey, Janelle Massachusetts,
Oh what's happening? No much. I just wanted to call
(01:15:28):
and let you guys know that you actually got me
interested in country. I love your show and I started
listening to it and I didn't really like country, but
you guys were wicked, funny and like a little family
like it reminded me of being like cousins, like caning
out and yeah, I thought it was fantastic. So I
started listening and then there was country on and I
was like, oh, actually I like this, and then you
(01:15:49):
had country artists on and they were so sweet and
it was nice. Well thanks, So, yeah, I love your show. Well, yeah,
it's fantastic. I like it when people from Massachuset's say
wicked too. Yeah I do. I enjoy that. Yeah, yeah,
it's I don't even realize I'm saying it because it
just comes out. Well, thank you for calling, Thanks for
(01:16:10):
being a part of the show. Appreciate that. And let
me say this, if you miss any of the show today.
For example, about an hour ago, Garth Brooks came by
and we played Garth Brooks Urban Legend, where we read
some of the urban legends about him and we asked
him if they were true, like did he really bust
into a house and say some kids from a fire?
He told us I'm not gonna say. Go back and
check the podcast out after the show's over. We loaded up.
We also do this whole segment after the show is
(01:16:32):
over that only goes up on the show replay. So
check out Bobby Bones Show on demand if you want
to hear that. So Top three songs in Country music
this week at number three is Blake Shelton Goge Country,
All the Body, river Side and Holding Water and Shine
(01:16:55):
with the Dolls. Number two Lee Bryce Rumor Im I'm
doing Round, and number one Red Eldridge Loves Someone, which
is Man. It's such a good song. Yeah, I hear it,
and I hear every song all the time. I turn
it out. Those your big three country songs show. The
(01:17:22):
biggest pop song is hit some moment when I shure
I've got, I'm saying wow. Post a little wile so
your kids listen to this one. Met these bottles are
lonely hits some moment when I show I've got, I'm
saying wow, everywhere I got. And the biggest alternative song
it's from lumin Ears. Is he your big song? I
(01:17:53):
like the Luminears. Every time they put out something, I
like it. Yeah. Yeah. On Friday it's Searna's birthday, who
was my dance partner on Dancing with Stars. I feel
a little pressure on that one. So I'm making or
something What are you making? And I'm like, I say
(01:18:13):
right here, oh, because I would get back to her
like Arts and Crafts kind of. Yeah, it's probably not
gonna be very good. I'm gonna trying okay, so I
got you know what am I gonna do buy something
for Okay? So wait, where's the pressure? Because she did
like an hour long insta video for you that was
really sweet on your birthday, hurt. That was so thoughtful.
I'm just making sure you remember how thoughtful that was. Yeah,
(01:18:34):
that's why I'm making something Okay, to be equally as thoughtful.
The thought process had to go into it in the
actual doing, which I could think of ideas all day,
it's just actually running with it. But I've been been
working almost I'm special, okay, So I'll probably reveal it
to her on Instagram Thursday or so. I want to
beat the rush of everybody else pushing her happy birthday. Yeah,
well yeah birthdays. It's not very good at crafts. But
(01:18:57):
I think I get I have somebody helping me as well.
We've been we've been sitting there working on it together. Yeah,
I got that. I saw the story about Tracy Morgan's car.
Well you know when her birthday is though it's my calendar.
Yours is in my calendar too, But if you were
to ask me, I wouldn't know the day off the
top of my head. That was a shot. Got it. No, yeah, yeah,
I got it. I don't know. I don't even know
(01:19:18):
my birthday April second. Thank you. That's why I keep
you around. Tracy Morgan's car, he had a two million
dollars Bugatti and it was sideswiped fifteen minutes after he
drove off a lot. Yeah yeah, yeah, so and so
he pulled out and like fifteen minutes somebody hit him.
So he got to build. It's thirty two thousand dollars
for that person's side swipe in his car. What does
(01:19:40):
Dave Ramsey say about the car? He says, if it
has a motor it shouldn't cost more than fifty percent
of what your car. What your salary is a boat,
a car, motorcycle. Yeah, so let's say you're gonna buy
a twenty thousand dollars car that you better make over
forty thousand dollars. If that's the case. If you're gonna
(01:20:01):
have a twenty thousand dollars car, thanks for doing the math.
He's gonna come in on Friday and be the Friday
morning conversation. Cool. I got so many things to ask him.
I was already making notes today. We look at some
of my notes here for Dave Ramsey, like I was
gonna ask him about because I'd always heard two. When
you buy a house, it should be two and a
half times your salary, not anything more than that. So
if you made forty grand a year, eighty and then half,
(01:20:23):
that's one hundred. So you buy one hundred thousand all half. Okay,
So if you have two people making eighty grand a year,
you can do. But I'm curious what he says about that,
and so house and then Raymundo probably gonna get engaged soon, right, Yeah,
can you ask about engagement rings? I will so Friday
that happens with him, Like how much to spend on
engagement ring? Yeah? Okay, I love that guy. Dave Ramsey
(01:20:44):
will be in on Friday and we'll talk about that.
There was a story with this guy he didn't know,
but his backpack. He was leaving a trip from Florida
to Hawaii, and he had a big snake in his
backpack and the snake it's slithered in his backpack and
he takes it on a plane. It was a Southern
black racer snake. It slipped out of the man's backpack.
Snakes have no natural predators in Hawaii. So they pose
(01:21:06):
a threat to some of the species in Hawaii. Yeah,
so you can't take them and let them out or
have them. And so he was not aware that the
animal had slithered into his backpack. It was about a
foot long. It was just chilling the hallway, lushbox. Hate snakes.
He's shaking. Take his headphones off for a second. I mean,
it just gives me chills when you say the word,
everything about it. Oh, you ever actually been around a snake? Yeah?
(01:21:32):
I mean I was walking my dog the other day
and there's a freaking snake right there on the side,
jumped and ran on the other side of the street.
Did you leave your dog? Yep? Did all right? Yes,
always listen to the post show pre show if you're
you're bored, because we finished the show, but we keep going.
We turn the microsone and we keep going most days,
(01:21:53):
so hit it up. The average person starts to seriously
plan their wedding at age twenty one years old. Wow,
think about that. Yeah, I mean, I guess I thought
whoever was dating at the time in twenty one, I
was definitely gonna marry, but I wasn't like planning the wedding.
I never have thought that about me. Oh ever, I
just have never seen me and I've been in I
(01:22:14):
had in one relationship with four years, another one that
was almost two. That's some good ones. If I had
a boyfriend that like lasted a month, I was like,
we're probably gonna get married. It's so bad. Well, you
and your husband, you're about together about a month and
you got married. They had twenty ones. When they start,
they also say, guys imagine their dream weddings way more
than you would think. I'm not someone who pictures that
(01:22:37):
wedding thing is weird to me anyway. But moving on,
because we're done with the show today, Amy, what's happened
with you? Well, so Shara, we'll get home from camp.
So got her, and then I've got to basically unpack her,
do laundry and repack her because she leaves for Austin
tomorrow to go like summertime. So she's going to Austin
tomorrow and I'll still be here working, but I'm going
(01:22:58):
to meet them this weekend. Yeah, yeah, what about you? Well, Um,
I have a lot today. Actually, let me look at
my calendar. Dustin Lynch is coming by to do a
Bobby cast and so that'll be up. Here's my day today,
since you asked, Oh, we have a you know, we
have a Saint Louis Sky session after the show today.
All of the time I got canceled bones. Oh you
(01:23:19):
can wipe that one off the und No, nobody tells
me anything. Oh yeah, okay, I have that off my
calendar of Dustin Lynch coming by. I have yeah three
of them. What are we pointing at Mike? And then
also the get up? You can watch that on my answer. Yeah,
I'll probably watch that a few times today. It's got
(01:23:39):
a lot of abuse. Me and Kaylee Hammick dancing around
in my backyard. And also this guy comes in and
jumps in. It's good people asking me what's in my cup?
Oh that was what I was gonna ask you. That water?
Oh it's hot. Okay, what do you think we're getting?
We're drinking out on a weekday, were recording. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
(01:24:03):
we'll go. We'll see you. What is tomorrow? Wednesday? Should
out Garth Brooks for coming by? We did a segment
called Urban Legend with Garth Brooks about some of the
urban legends we've heard about him throughout his career. Listen
to that on the podcast. That's all for now, folks.
Did you do have five questions? Did you do your
question and answer thing? Yeah, that's up today. Four things up. Yeah,
there you go. Load it up, give it a listen.
(01:24:24):
Piece out
