Speaker 1 (00:00):
Are they done? Are they going to add an outfielder?
Are they going to add an infielder like we've talked
about before Pictures and Catcher Report.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Hey, everybody, what's going on? Welcome to a live, brand
new episode of your favorite podcast. I'm assuming it is
because you're here. I'm Alana Rizzo. That is climt to CEUs.
We are your hosts for DT. Thanks for being here. Guys.
Please rate us five stars, like and subscribe to Dodger's
Territory the podcast wherever you get your pods. Of course
you can do it on YouTube as well. We appreciate

(00:41):
it as we try to make our way to fifteen
thousand subs. We would have liked to have done it
in twenty twenty five, but that's okay. That's our new
goal for twenty and twenty six. Let us get there.
So here we have it. Clint Pacius, we made it,
my friend. It is the end of twenty twenty five.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Yeah, the final show of the year, final live stream,
final show of season two of Dodgers' Territory. I appreciate
you guys hanging out with us today. We're doing something
a little bit different. We're talking about the Dodgers diving
into the top storylines that you and I will be
watching heading into the new year. And we're gonna do
that right now on the big ticket.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
All right. So there's still time, Clint, for the Dodgers
to make a splash or two before reporting to spring
training at Camelback Ranch. And the question remains, sir, how
much work, if any, in your opinion, is left for
Andrew Friedman in company? The biggest splash, I would say,
Edwin Diaz, we got the closer that I wanted. I
wanted a closer. Is there more to come in your estimation?

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Yeah, I mean you still got a whole month and
change before, you know, the boys report to pictures and
cat You know you said that. It just makes me
so excited we are, you know, the itches back, the
bug is back. Pictures and catchers report that. That really
it gets me going right there. But yeah, the biggest
storylines we're gonna watch is related to that. Are they done?

(02:02):
Are they gonna add an outfielder? Are they gonna add
an infielder like we've talked about before, Pitchers and catchers
report we've talked about and maybe there is a need
for a center fielder that would kind of move Andy
Piez to right field, to Oscar Hernandez to left field.
We've talked about maybe if they don't go that route,
adding a plus plus back to ball kind of left fielder,
somebody that just has a little bit different, less of

(02:24):
a strikeout profile on the team. We've also discussed a
lot over the last month the potential of adding a
second basement. Boba Shet really really stands out for this team,
and that would be an option to kind of kick
Tommy Edmund out to center field in that outfield mix
and all of that. Do they go one of those routes?

(02:44):
Is it a trade as a free agency they also
have the pieces to, like not make another move. I
think it would be hoove to borrow from Jim Tracy
be hoove the Dodgers to make one more splash before
pitchers and catchers report, you know, capitalize on either free
agency or you know, some options out there on the
trade market. But that's one of the big storylines. Thoughts

(03:06):
on that before we kind of trudge.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Forward, Well, if that's gonna be the splash, that would
be massive, right, if Boba Schet happens to become a
Dodger my gosh, that's a massive, massive position player splash
to go with the massive message pitching splash and Edwin Diaz.
Now let me ask you this then, So if you
do get Boba shitt and that kicks Tommy Edmund out
to centerfield, which I'm fine with that as well, would

(03:28):
you take that or would you be not necessarily equally
as excited but still pretty excited and satisfied. If they
ended up and it wasn't Boba Schet but it was
Stephen Kwan and like Harrison Vader, I.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Don't think they would need both Bader and Kwan. One
of the two would be very nice. If between those two,
I would definitely lean the Stephen Kuan way. I don't
think Cleveland is trading. I mean, they were in the
playoffs last year. Like, they're not a terrible team. They
could use a closer suddenly over there in Cleveland and

(04:03):
probably some more bullpen help, but they I don't know.
It feels like it's a hard sell to hardsell of
the fan base to trade away you're, you know, a
homegrown star. But if was doing that, might as well
land you know, Jay Ram. At the same time, I'm
getting back into trade.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
More so on him, which I get. I mean he's
he's a perennial All Star. But let me ask you this.
So if you look at our chat, Dave s two, yeah,
Dave s six, what about bo and Batter? I mean yeah,
sure that would be fine too, But then what does
that mean in terms of words? Tommy Edmen fit into
that situation? You know it is batter your bench guy,

(04:43):
I mean, is beatter someone that's coming off the bench.
If you do, in fact move Tommy Edmund to the outfield,
if you do get Bobashitt, what do you think about
Dave slot here about Bo and Bader? I just like
the name. It sounds like a blufferm Bo.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
And Beader attorney at law, Attorneys at Law. I mean
we talked about this two or three weeks ago. I
love these two together. If there is like a one
A version of a Dodgers offseason would be adding Bobaschett
and an outfielder like a Jaron Duran or a Stephen

(05:15):
Kwan or Kyle Tucker or something like that, Cody Bellinger,
that would be the one A. The one B would
be this one, because Harrison Bader can scratch that itch.
We've talked about with center field. He can play left field,
and I think the best version of this team does
not have Tommy Edmund playing every day. Maybe I wouldn't

(05:36):
call it.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
You were big on him when they signed him, even
though he was coming off all those injuries, and we
were just kind of waiting to see what he was
gonna give us. Why do you say that? Why do
you like him more as maybe a platoon guy, a
bench guy.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Yeah, I mean, I think that's his best role. He's
come up. Listen. I love Tommy Edmund. He's had some
very big moments for this team. Maybe that an ankle
was bugging him a lot, but he seems to be
a little bit inconsistent. I don't think he's gonna be
that big time power bat that we saw like early
last year early or early this year, early twenty twenty
five in April where we're like, oh crap, this dude

(06:08):
kind of has a little bit of sock. Maybe maybe
the Dodgers, you know, if fleeceman strikes again, as it
were with that five year extension with with Tommy Edmund,
but in some sort of platoon role kind of settling
into taking a step back into more of a Chris
Taylor role. I think that could be best for Tommy
Edmund doesn't mean he's playing not playing every day, I
guess I should restate it. It would be more he's

(06:30):
gonna play some center, he's gonna play some second, he's
gonna play short, he's gonna play left, Mix him around,
kick him around everywhere, and that also lets him, you know,
opens up a door, opens up an opportunity for Harrison
Bader to get some some reps in center field and
left field and all that stuff as well. But you
do whatever you can to maximize that outfield while still

(06:51):
adding Bobaschett. Again, that's my perfect offseason. I'm gonna go
They're gonna go that hard in the paint. I doubt it,
but I also doubted Edwin is. And then that happened.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Well, that wasn't even being talked about. As much as
we know that Bobashett was going to be talked about.
We knew that Boba sheet was going to be on
the minds of many, if not all thirty, even though
not all thirty would go for it. But okay, let
me ask you this, So Dave is an agreement saying
that Edwin basically excuse me, Tommy Edmund, It's basically like
a Swiss army knife, a super utility guy, if you will.

(07:24):
There's some folks on here, Clint, that don't want Harrison
Vaders s Murphy twenty four saying, if you want bater,
you might as well bring back oh four to two
literally no different. Oh for Ford Yeah, oh yeah, that
makes sense for Confordo, I don't agree with that. I
think Harrison Vader has more more to give, I guess
than can play more outfield spots than Michael Conforto, and

(07:47):
I think offensively he'll definitely be better.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
I will say I did kind of look more at
at Harrison Vader's career and the numbers, and they're not phenomenal.
For sure. It's not you know, it's not Kyle. He's
not Kyle Tucker. He's not Co Bellinger.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
He doesn't cost Kyle Tucker is going to cost you either.
You don't need a Kyle Pucker, you don't need a
Cody Bellinger. You don't need to spend a bazillion dollars.
I mean, if Cody thinks he's getting four hundred, he's
smoking something and it's not marijuana. And if you know,
I just don't think the three twenty five or four
hundred or whatever it is for Kyle Tucker is going

(08:22):
to be Yeah, that's not sensible either.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Yeah to add a bushette and a bat. And I
didn't expect us to devolve too much into this again,
which I love. I love this this conversation. I think
it's it's again. It gets the juices flowing for the
twenty twenty sixth season and knowing that there still is
potentially some big off season moves, some big off season
change ahead that that does excite me. But the thing is, again,

(08:49):
they they don't need to make a move, but we've
talked about it already. I think heading into the season
with your your left field let's say right now you're
left field in your second base being you know, Hessong
Kim and Tommy Edmund and Ryan Ward and Alex call
as of right now on the forty man roster, I

(09:11):
think you can do a little bit better. I definitely
think I know you can do a little bit better,
especially with a team that's making all this cash. They
just what dropped like ninety million dollars off the payroll
with all their you know, Kershaw retiring and other people
moving on and all that kind of stuff. They got
the money, take advantage, capitalized on this opportunity. We don't
even know if Butchet's really available to the Dodgers, But.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Well, I mean, I think Toronto's going to have the
first ride refusal, right. If Toronto brings him back, my
guess is he's gonna want to be like Vlad and
finish his career there. But if Toronto's not willing to
give him the bag like they gave Vlad the bag,
then he has the right as a free agent. I
believe all of them do to test it out. Let
me ask you this, Do you think the Dodgers are
done adding to the bullpen?

Speaker 1 (09:54):
That's a great question. You know, we've we've had some
dialogue this offseason before the Winter meetings, before the Edwin
Diaz signing, where we knew they wanted to add a top,
a high leverage, right handed reliever to the back end
of the bullpen. Did not think it was gonna be
Edwin Diaz just did a little bit ago. It was
that is massive. That's that should kind of be their

(10:17):
checklist because they have a bunch of really really good
arms will show off a screen a little bit about
some of the bullpen arms that are around. Actually, you know,
I'll just stow it up right now. There's there's this
isn't all of them. This does not have Kyle hurt
This does not have River Ryan in the mix. You
don't know quite what ends up happening with Emmett Shean
along the way, because they are going to need to

(10:38):
feel the starting rotation of but only six players, but
it feels like they should and could be done after
Diaz and and you know, at most wait until.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
And you still don't know what I understand. They want
Roki Sasaki to be a starter, but you don't know
how that's going to go. So that does that mean
that he ends up in the bullpen. There's a lot
of question marks, but they definitely have the arms to
move around. And to your point, we don't know what's
going to happen with River Ryan and Kyle Hurts and
those types of things. But I'd be fine if they
didn't add anything to the bullpen, because you figure Evan
Phillips is coming back at some point, is Bruce is

(11:14):
bruced Oark graderol got to make some sort of appearance
and make some sort of impact for this club, you know,
down and down the line. I mean, I mean he hasn't.
We haven't seen much of him in the last two
plus years, guys, So anyway that, I don't think they
would have a need to add any anybody else in
the bullpen if they need anything. In my opinion, we've
talked about this at nause I mean, honestly, it's because

(11:35):
this off season there's just nothing going on, for God's sake,
so we keep having to urgitate the same stuff. But
it's still on the minds of Dodgers fans. It's like,
what is this roster going to look like? Not only
just come spring training, which is about six weeks away,
which is awesome, but also what is this club going
to look like come Opening Day, which is you know,
we're less than ninety days away or whatever from Opening Day,
so it would be cool. I mean, another shock. And

(11:59):
you mentioned that. And by the way, guys, Clint does
such a great job putting together our rundowns on a
show basis, so I appreciate all the effort he does
for it. But you know, well, they shocked the baseball
world with Trek Scoobel. I don't think so. I would
think that the Tigers would be really flipping stupid to
a not extend him now, but b to let him go.

(12:20):
I think that's really really dumb on their part when
they were a pretty damn good baseball team last year,
and I hope, you know, I think they're only going
to get better. So would it shocked the baseball world? Yes,
it would. Are they going to do it? I don't
think so.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
Yeah? Same. I was looking Scooble was on his social
media kind of making a Detroit world tour, you know,
popping his head in at different events and.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Sporting events and games.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
Yeah, and he said, like, I think the comment or
the description on his post was like Detroit over everybody else,
Like they're they're doing a little bit of damage control
probably over those rumors. But yeah, for Detroit, another team
that made the postseason to trade away like your ace,
even though ostensibly you could say it makes a team
better adding two high quality arms versus one insanely elite arm.

(13:13):
They could use some more starting pitching help, because it's
what ham Jack Flaherty and then I don't know the
Detroit Tigers. I'm sorry, that is the That is the
length of my knowledge of the Detroit Tigers. But yeah,
I I I don't know. I will chug a beer
on the stream if the Dodgers somehow land Trek Scooble,
that's it.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Just a beer. You're gonna be checking more than that.
I mean, I mean they have a decent they have
a decent lineup. They have a decent I mean they're
not They're not the daughters. Not many teams are, but
I mean Casey mys is in that rotation. There's some
other guys in there that are that are not elite,
elite elite, but enough to not in my opinion, trade
Trek scouble. I think. I mean they have they have

(13:53):
a good you know, bullpen guy and Kyle Finn. Again,
they just got Kelly Jansen, you know, say what you want.
I mean Reese Olsend Anderson that's part of their rotation
as well. So there you have, again, not guys not
names that were like superstar names. And I understand that,
but I think they would be absolutely idiotic to trade
terror school that is neither here nor there. I don't say,

(14:15):
I don't think that if the rumors officially have died out,
because who knows what Andrew Friedman's got going on under
his two lane sleeve there if you will. Much more
to come on Dodgers Territory, but Clinton, I definitely want
to talk about the store. More storylines to come, but
we want you to consider supporting our show with some
sweet DT gear. Visit the Dodgers' Territory Shop. Pick yourself

(14:37):
up a T shirt, a hoodie, a mug, a Duffel bag,
whatever your heart desires. Look good for the new year,
while directly supporting us at the FT network. Look good
when you go to the gym and when you sign
up for that new gym membership and then quit it
two weeks later, because you know we're all going to
do that, because that's what we do at this time
of year. Right Dodgers Territory Shop dot com, you can
scan that QR code. All of the things we're talking here.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Was storyline one. I'm calling that all storyline one.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
That was storyline one. That's fair. That's fair. We got
off tangent a little bit, but that's okay. Storyline two,
Clint Pissius, as you so well planned here, how will
the front office manage the forty man roster? As if
you look at the forty man roster right now, it
breaks down to twenty four pictures. Of course, that includes
starters and relievers obvi, fifteen position players and then a

(15:29):
guy by the name of shohe O Tani who doesn't
take up either spot. He takes up both of them.
So how does this look to you? Okay, because they
don't have anywhere to go right now if they were
to sign some more folks, some of these lists, some
of these names are coming off of the list, which
I think brings you to your next point of who

(15:50):
is I'm not saying not valuable guys, I'm saying dispensable
to either A free up some space for us to
make it a better picture for the roster, and b
give these guys some opportunities to play more someplace else.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
Yeah, I mean we'll get into the DFA guys for
a second. That is a lot of bodies. That is
absolutely a lot of well there's forty as forty human
men that occupy the forty man rouster. I'll put the
thing back up on the screen there. Like you said,
if the Dodgers, our whole first segment of the show
is talking about are they done? Are they going to
make additions, Well, you can't make additions without at least

(16:26):
one subtraction. That is just the world that we live
in here that could you know, be in the trade
or that DFA route that you're mentioning. We'll reiterate, we
are not saying that we want these guys gone. We
are just saying that they are either a surplus or
like you said, better served with an opportunity elsewhere. These

(16:50):
are what is that five dudes? At least there's probably
one more in there. I mean, I could have made
the argument to have Will Klein highlighted on this list.
But of the names, no district respect to any of them,
Anthony Bonda, Paul Gervais, Bobby Miller, Estuary Ruiz, and Michael
Sianni and outfield that they just picked up a couple
of weeks ago. If they need an immediate spot, Ruiz

(17:12):
is probably the first guy getting DFAED. But if you
need a bunch of roster space, those are the guys
that are probably first on the chopping block. You know,
That's one of the things I'm watching. If they are
gonna add a position player, if they're gonna add another pitcher,
they're gonna need to create space if it's you know,
if they go that route, it is what it is.

(17:32):
But they have a lot of bodies, you know, I
think again, I'll reiterate, I think they could stand pat
and it not be the worst situation. There's a lot
of surplus, for sure on the roster. There's a redundancy
on the roster. And I'm saying it like in the
best way possible, no disrespect to these people. There are twelve.

(17:54):
There are twelve starting pitching options heading into spring training
as it stands right now. You guys see him on
the screen. Yes, not everybody is going to break camp
as a starter. Ben casparis, Justin Rubleski and Kyle Hurt
probably will and need to be in the bullpen. But Yoshinobu,
yam Moto, Blakes noew Shoheo, Tani Tyler, glasnaw Amachi and

(18:15):
Gavin Stone, Roki Sasaki and then River Ryan. Those are
the guys that are going to be right at the
top of that starting rotation and in that conversation and
you know those final three, that's gonna be a fun
competition coming out of spring training, particularly with Sasaki, you know,
River Ryan, and then Shean and and Gavin Stone coming

(18:35):
back from the shoulder surgery. That's another big storyline as well.
How do they come back?

Speaker 2 (18:40):
Yeah, I know that's it, and you know, we're going
to talk more about this too. I don't think we
made as much noise as we probably could have talking
about certain guys that were, you know, under the radar
for the team last year and in twenty twenty three.
So we'll talk about that a little bit more in
our next show. But I think that we have an

(19:02):
opportunity to start this season with a roster that's pretty
dang set already, you know, And I think that's that's okay.
And again I was blown away by the Edwin Diaz situation.
There's some topics or some comments here in our chat
about the Red Socks are we're inquiring about Tyler Glasnow.
I don't think that Tyler glass Now is somebody that

(19:24):
the Daughters are willing to move. Yeah, So the Truth
Seeker dot RB thanks for the ten dollars super chat.
We appreciate it. I guys, hope you had a good
X mess. We did hearing Boston has inquired about Glasnow, Yeah, right,
she and for Duran, which is interesting. I think that's interesting. Actually,
she and for Duran is interesting. You think Friedman trades
where they signed free agent outfielder along with bo and
or a Kamoto.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
So I don't know the Akamoo want. I don't know that.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
I don't I think it's I don't know that it's
a Kamodo. Actually going back to that, I'll circle back
on that in a second. So she and for Duran
is interesting to me because Emmit Shean I think has
a lot of upside. But Emmitt Shehan doesn't really have
a spot in this rotation. Emmit she It would absolutely
have a spot in the Boston rotation. They are struggling

(20:10):
to find anybody besides obviously now they have Sonny Gray,
but he's not really a number two and that's who
that's what he's going to be for Boston because they
have Garrett Crochet as their ace, and then they have
Sonny Gray, and then they don't have Lucastielito anymore. Brian
Bao is still on, you know, he's still coming up,
but he's not necessarily the answer. They have a lot

(20:33):
of young arms and a lot of unproven talent in
that starting rotation. So that's an interesting because the Dodgers
need an outfielder right that can a good defensive outfielder
that kind of fills that need Emmitt she And that
would give him more playing time. I could see that
happen over a Tyler glasnow trade.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
Yeah, you got a trade from an area of surplus
again they have I'll throw it back on this. You
got a lot of starting pitching options there Tyler Glass. Now,
you know he signed an extension here, he was told
by Andrew Friedman that he is not going anywhere. Arguably,
Emitchian has more value between the two, just because he

(21:16):
is still cheap, he is young, he is under team control,
coming off of a pretty dang good season, underrated season
by the way, coming back from Tommy John. Yeah, if
if Boston was open to that a one for one deal,
or if it's you know Shean and you know one

(21:36):
more of those guys, Hey, Bobby Miller getting a change
of scenery there or something like that mix and Anthony Bonda.
You get a veteran lefty reliever added to that Boston
mix to get Jared Duran. Somebody could play left field,
who could play center field, has a bunch of speed,
a good amount of pop that would be another. I mean,
I've loved Jared duran for a long time. Use your ass.

(22:00):
They need to use their assets, and then that helps
with that stacked forty man roster, you know issue. Like
I like we said heading into this, you gotta clear
the space. Trading is probably the best route.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
And Jaron Duranza gamer. I like him a lot. He
is a ballplayer, he's a gritty guy. He's great in
the clubhouse. I've heard some rumors that he's not a
team player. That's absolute bs. He's a good, good clubhouse guy.
As teammates love him, they love playing for him, they
love being around him. So I would absolutely welcome him
into the Dodgers clubhouse anytime. And I think what the

(22:35):
truth seeker was talking about was Kazuma Okamoto, who is
a Japanese infielder that apparently Clinton drawing some significant interest
from multiple teams, labeled even as a perfect fit for
a certain for certain clubs. I don't know that the
Dodgers are one of those perfect fits for him. But
the guy is he's like the next big thing, right

(22:57):
or one of the next big things, I should say,
coming out of Japan three twenty two batting average last season.
We'll see. There were original reports that said he wasn't
going to sign with a major League baseball team in December,
which is almost over, so we'll see what happens in
terms of the posting and the availability. But that's who
he was talking about, Okamoto, So there you have that again.

(23:20):
This is all it's fun to spit ball. It's fun
to you know, of course, kick the tires on everybody
because it's fun to spend other people's money. And the
Dodgers don't have a significant amount of holes. But I
do love the I would be totally fine with Emmachian
to give him more opportunities. Man if Emmitt she had
could pitch every fifth day, good for him. And to
get Jared Durant and maybe that solves the Maybe that
solves the outfield this year a little bit. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
G I is not a big fan of trading for
a platoon bat, which Jared Durant. I understand. Like if
the Dodgers desperately desperately needed emmachi in, yeah, I would
not want to make that trade. But you have Gavin
Stone coming back. Certainly, Stoner is a question mark coming
off of the shoulder surgery. That is something thing we'll
talk more about as we get closer to spring training,

(24:04):
but that is that is an area of concern coming
back from.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
The Rogers starting rotation. G I so, but I mean
at this point, maybe a sixth guy at seven.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
Point, Isn't it fair to say it's kind of embits
spot to lose as the fifth starter, fifth or sixth starter.
They're gonna try everything they can. Rokie will be in
that starting rotation. Doesn't necessarily mean he breaks you know,
camp with the team likely maybe potentially does, but they
want to. They want him to be a starting pitcher,
so that really just makes one spot. Gavin Stone was

(24:38):
having an all star campaign, you know, in twenty twenty
four before the shoulder gave on him and is happy healthy,
uh and and two times well I guess technically not
two time World Well anyways, he's coming off of a
World Series championship season, was really good. In the starting rotation,
it feels to me like right now, the point I'm
getting to is that he's kind of earned that spot

(24:59):
and he healthy.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Tell me your rotation right now, who's your race? Who's
the opening day start?

Speaker 1 (25:05):
Well, that would be Yoshi for sure. I'll put this
up because I pretty much gave it away here on
the left side of the screen, Yamamoto, Blake Snell, Show,
Heyo Tani, Tyler Glasnow, Emmicchien, Gavin Stone. I don't have
Rokie Sasaki in my starting rotation if I had my
say about it, which I don't. But the Dodgers will
have Roki Sasaki in that starting rotation to open the season.

(25:27):
Uh well, in a starting role to open the season,
whether it's with the big leagues or at the Triple
A level, which I think they would have. That would
be a tough pill to swallow. But it's yeah, that
competition's injuries aside, that competition can come down to, you know,
two guys for one spot Stone, Shean or maybe they
hold Stone back. As far as I've heard, he's had

(25:50):
a full, like healthy and full off season workloads, so
he should be ready to go for for you know,
spring training. But yeah, those are the things to watch
gang again.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
And and these are all good things that that are
fun to talk about, and I'm okay with it. I
think before we move on here, I need to tell
rihann O Keeves number one, he can go somewhere. You
could go somewhere. Listen, listen, Rihannu Keeves, Uh, Margo Allen
is not overrated, you rihannu ks are overrated. All right, guys,

(26:27):
appreciate the conversation. As always, we'd love hearing what you
guys have to say. Again, we're not experts, but we
pretend like we are on television, which is what we're
doing right now. So all right, let's uh, let's wrap
things up. Let's get to last lists. All right, guys,
So this is Peyton. I have introduced you to her before.

(26:51):
This little lady was living in a house. Unfortunately her
owner passed away and then the owner's husband was going
to take her to a high kill shelter. So we
took her under our our family at Gidrey's Guardian Foundation
five months ago, in July, actually July twenty seventh. She
needs an adopter. She is super sweet. She's nine month
old pity mix or excuse me, nine year old pity mix.

(27:15):
She's very very sweet, very gentle, just needs a couple
of walks a day. She's not high maintenance. She's probably
best in a home with no other dogs, or at
least dogs her size. No, you know, no, little dogs
or timid dogs or other senior dog. She just like
likes her peace. But she's a sweetheart. If you're interested
in learning more about Peyton, She's being fostered in the

(27:35):
Santa Clarita area, but a forever home is what she needs.
So there you have that, Clint.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Go help out Peyton, Go help out the dogs. Goes
to the Gidrisguardian dot org. Get yourself a dog for
the new year, as long as you're a responsible pet owner.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
Correct, don't get a dog as a gift. Don't be
the Kardashians. For the love of God.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
I mean you could, just I could. I really want
that to be like a lie since plate frame, don't
be the Kardashian.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
Yeah, they do do the opposite anyway.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
Moving on, well, I mean they do make a lot
of money, and that is not my.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
Thought for the road. Yeah. Yeah, just because you're loaded
doesn't mean you're a good person. Anyway. That's also not
my thought for the road. My thought for the road, Clint,
is that this baseball off season has been so boring.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
It's been a little bit of a challenge for sure.
I've I've welcomed the piece to a degree, except for
show days where you have to come up some things
to talk about. This was fun today. Hopefully people enjoyed
the conversation. This is it is where we are trending
back into exciting time. Pictures and catchers report in I

(28:42):
don't I don't know the date yet. I don't know
if they it's.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
Always I always showed up on Valentine's Day, so that's
essentially six weeks from now.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
Yeah, and that's that's that's my favorite part of February
fourteenth is pictures and catchers reporting or at least some
of the pomp and circumstance. They should be showing up early.
A lot of them as well. Well, you know, WBC
is happening in twenty twenty six but very very excited
about something happening, not boring happening anymore, because yeah, a

(29:11):
year ago, I think it was almost exactly a year ago,
the Dodgers re sign taoscar Hernandez. You had the Blake
Snell signing in December as well. Yeah, so looking forward
to having some stuff. We're gonna have a big news
to kick off the twenty twenty sixth year as well,
So guys make sure you are tubed in here on

(29:34):
Dodger's Territory Thursday. We will be back on.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
Brinny me more info about the big announcement coming in
the new year. A great, great, great thing for us
on Dodgers Territory and the Field Territory Network as a whole.
So you guys, thanks for a tremendous year. Clinton. I'll
be back on Thursday with our last, our first show first. Yeah, man,
this year is flying by.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
That show off this week.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
Yeah, over the new year exactly, all right. I don't
even know what date it is anyway, guys, take care.
Thanks for the comments, get us up to fifteen thousand subs.
We appreciate you very much. We'll see you Thursday. Go Dodgers.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
Bye.
