(00:23):
suddenly. He had a cardiac eventand died on his way home from a
neighbor's house after a party. SoI'm on my way to Colorado now.
And Darlene, thank you for bringingfood by the house last night. You
and your family, it really reallygave us some light. And Ryan,

(00:46):

I'll be back next week. Butit's time to go see Daddy Dale and
get them rug before we continue onwith the arrangements. Yeah, we're sorry.
Yeah, I love you. Yeah, I love you too. You

(01:08):

It was you know, he hadbeen having some irregular fibrillation and he
was looking into he's going to geta watchman put in and he you know,
he didn't make it. He wasfitting healthy and so vibrant. Your

(01:33):
dad lived like a sixty year old. I mean, this is a guy
who was riding his bike every day. Who is the other thing? Ellen?
And I know you know this, but it is it has I've probably
told more people in the last daythat I love them well. I love
you guys, and Daddy Dale reallyloved you a lot too. What a
guy. I told you yesterday theworld would be better if it was full

(01:55):
of Dale Fas, thank you, love you. Hi, Coast COMMUNI,
Hi, good morning. Hi.I just wanted to call and let Ellen

(02:16):
know I lost my dad suddenly tooheart attack him too high. And it
hurts. It still hurts. It'sgoing too hurt. But heart attacks are
prevalent in Man, I guess. And there My dad was in his seventies,
had a bad heart anyway, soit was sudden. I was on

(02:38):
a vacation. He kissed me Hi, and three days later my dad was
gone and I had to fly backcall. Yeah. You know. Look,
your story parallels Ellen's in many ways. So she went to present at
an there's an annual event called RadioDays Europe, and she went and she

(03:00):
was in Munich, Germany, andclose to flying home when she got this
news. And that's a long flight. But I but there's some beauty here
and I want I want you toshare, Dar, if you don't mind.
DAR was at Ellen's house last nightand she walked in and saw something
that I thought was super beautiful. They have these lights that communicate with each

(03:23):
other, and so Ellen has oneplaced in her house and her dad has
one placed in his house, andthey're connected through the Wi Fi. So
when one of them taps it,it changes the color. And when she
walked back in from the airport,he last tapped it, and so when
they walked in the house, itwas lit up, meaning he was thinking

(03:43):
about them. And it's just sucha sweet, beautiful, wonderful thing to
walk in and see this final likethere this final love greeting from your dad.
I mean, god darn, Andthey are around and they do be
guess, and she just needs toknow we're all sending her because and she's

(04:08):
listening right now. She's in hershe's in her car on the way to
the airport to go, as shesaid, give her dad one last hug.
I don't want to take much ofyour time, but I do want
to quickly tell a little story. After the funeral I got home. My
father was a June baby. Hisbirthday is June thirteenth. So I was

(04:30):
talking to my brother outside of thelittle garden my dad cat, and this
June bug came and started strickling overour heads and he got tangled in my
hair and then he flew away totowards the pool where he found my father.
Yeah, where he died. Hedied next to the pool. He

(04:50):
was doing his like walk in thehome in the afternoon, and it was
my sign. And my dad iswatching us, and then he's going to
be with us, not physically, but he's always going to be with us.
Daddy Dale is going to be around. It's just big hugs. Yeah,
