There's two types of people in the world, and the
sane and the Wednesday absurd. Duran is the ringleader New
York City or radio or a legend legend leader. I

Good morning, Hello, Scott Hi, Hello producer Sam, good morning, Hello,
Scottie be Hi. There's my Diamond. Good morning, Good morning sweetheart,
and wait on us. Do you know what I mean?
Is everything working? So far, everything's working. I's ready to
(01:28):
go home except for you. Hey. I think I think
we need some some music. That's gonna enlighten us, something
that's gonna put us on a pedestal and make us
feel like we can conquer the day. So I choose
Lady Gaga. Oh my god, I love edging. It's so
(01:55):
good to be on the edge. Really bad part of
at the edge, and sometimes you fall off. Hey, I
got a great call for a first call her to day.
Actually I didn't. The one and only Diamond did. Thank you, Diamond,
thanks for bringing Lily into our lives. Good morning, Lily,
Good morning. I didn't know I was sucking the diamond
(02:15):
I love. Oh Lily, let's talk about about Let's talk
about today you're about to have now. I want us
to follow Lily's lead. Today is going to be a
great day. Tell everyone why Lily it is. It is
a fantastic day. Um my friend of several years, Um
(02:35):
is finally getting her own place today. She's leaving the
shelter she was in, sad abusifics Um, and we got
me and my family got gave her as much furniture
as we could and for the big ticket items because
like she doesn't have a TV. We're going to have
a rothfield this weekend to raise money. So we can
(02:56):
get her some extra stuff too. I'm so proud of her.
So your friend is starting a new chapter in her
life and you are helping her. You're helping her take
off into outer space. Lily, what a good friend you are. Yeah,
thank you, thank you. I'm just I'm so excited to
see the next chapter of life. She seems like she's
(03:16):
just been it has just crossed over the rainbow, you
know what I mean. She is just a static, she's
excited about lies again. Her kids have never seen them
happy before. It's just it's just a wonderful, wonderful day today,
cannot waiting. And we all, we all deserve a friend
(03:37):
like you, and you are. You are a fabulous friend.
And obviously she's been a great friend for you too. Hey,
we gotta get our oops manager Andrew in here. Hey, Andrew,
Uh you know those are you know? The Amazon gift cards? Yeah?
You can just give online. What's the maximum you can buy?
H five hundred? Yeah? Can you buy several? Yeah? Absolutely?
(03:59):
Could we send like twenty five hundred dollars in Amazon
cards to Lily so she can help her friend? Absolutely?
And maybe Lily, you know, you can be like the
Murdoch family and skim a little off the top for yourself. Okay, Okay,
we're gonna put you on hold. We're gonna get your
all your information, and we're gonna send you twenty five
(04:20):
hundred dollars in Amazon gift cards so your friend can
have some more for the new apartment. Okay, oh that, oh,
thank you so much for such a blessing. I am.
Oh you better. I made a mistake, made me get
three thousand. Oh yeah, all right, all right, okay three
three grand in Amazon on the way, Lily, and you
(04:40):
know what, look in the mirror and just smile at
yourself and thank you for being such a great person.
Obviously you had some good home training or something. You're
a great wonderful woman. Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you,
and you all are wonderful, wonderful people. Thank you so much.
Hey you're in Jacksonville, Florida. Correct, I am yea, Hey, Froggy.
(05:03):
Froggy's in Jacksonville, Jacksonphe I mean, Froggy. I don't know
how you could possibly help, but may I may I
give you Lily's information as well, and maybe if there's
anything anyone you know could do it to help her friend.
One million percent. Oh, that would be wonderful. That would
be absolutely wonderful because there are a couple of heavy things.
(05:23):
Help all right, I'm sure you do, Lily. You know what,
no matter how heavy the things, you will find a
way to lift them. That's the kind of person you are, Lily.
Thank you. It's an honor to have you on. Can
you hold on one second? Thank you so much? Yeah,
hold on, hold on, and thank you for being a
part of our day. Wow, hold on, I was gonna
ask literally she wanted to go to the Blake Shelton
concert tonight. I've got a couple of extra tickets. Well,
hold one, Hey, literally, what do you do? You want
(05:46):
to go to Blake Shelton? Are you into that? I?
Thank you? It's a world hold on, hold on, hold on,
And you're a You're a total lamb for offering. He's like, God,
(06:17):
that's okay. Wow. Can you imagine what the world would
be like if we just had twice as many lilies?
Oh my gosh, how awesome. What a great way to
get off the launch pad today. Thank you, Lily, and
all the best to your friend and her new life.
Starting a new chapter today, new chapters? Wow? How fun? Well,
with that done, I think we've set the pace for
(06:39):
an incredible show today. We have Mac Lamore on the way.
I do believe Jimmy Fallon's going to be checking in today. Uh,
and we have a free money phone tap. We've got
food news. We've got a lot of stuff to do.
So let's get going. First, let's stop over with Gandhi
for the three things we need to know? Gandhi, what's
going on? A man who allegedly brought an explosive to
a Pennsylvania airport earlier this week will be making his
(07:00):
first court appearance today. On Monday, TSA agents in the
Lehigh Valley International Airport found what they believed to be
an explosive device a device in the man's check luggage. Boy.
Officials say the device contained flash powder and commercial grade
firework granules. The suitcase also held a can of butane,
a lighter, and a pipe with powdery residue. He fled
(07:21):
the scene, but was arrested by the FBI on Wednesday.
So next time you go to the airport and you're like, oh,
because TSA is checking everyone's bag, I would look just
say thank you. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. Thank
you for catching creeps like this one. The White House
is applauding Eli Lily for capping insulin costs. Press Secretary
(07:43):
Karine Jean Pierre said it's important progress toward lowering healthcare
costs for all Americans. The drug maker The drug maker
announced it would cap out of pocket costs for most
popular insulin products at thirty five dollars a month. The
price cut is something President Biden has been pushing pharmaceutical
companies to do. We know that there was a time
at that insulin rate was out of control. The Inflation
Reduction Act caps insulin costs at thirty five dollars for
(08:05):
seniors on Medicare as well. And finally, we've been talking
about how in China kids are only allowed to use
TikTok for forty five minutes a day and can only
consume educational material. Well, now TikTok is rolling out new
features here in the US to help limit the amount
of time kids spend using the app. In the coming weeks,
all users under the age of eighteen will only be
allowed to use the app for an hour a day.
(08:26):
Users over thirteen will have to enter a pass code
to continue using the app. Those under thirteen will need
their parents password to add an additional thirty minutes of
screen time. Parents will also be able to customize daily
screen limits for their kids and adjust when TikTok sends notifications.
So we'll see how that goes. And those are your
three things. Thank you, Gandi. You guys are ready for
your day? Yeah? Are you sure? Yes? All right, let's
(08:47):
see what works. You guys make my day off to
day mister Rand and the Morning Show. Wendy's homestyle French
toast sticks are so good. Some are saying they're better
than your own mom's French toast Perfectly speed on the outside,
perfectly fluffy on the inside, perfectly perfected every way. Try
Wendy's homestyle French toast sticks today and see if they're
(09:08):
better than your mom's. He says, we launched the show
in such a delicious manner. I decided to be big
pop Ba and buy some breakfast. Daniel said, I whatever
you want, my sister, so um Nate says, let's order
from that place that has hot dogs. I oh, I'm
I want a hot dog. Yeah, and uh so I
(09:30):
thought we were ordering from the place with hot dogs. Yeah,
I don't see hot no, but they have groceries, so
so we can order like a panini breakfast rap. And
I know, Daniel, you get those drinks smoothie. Yeah, and
you Gandhi loves chicken, grilled chicken, the grilled chicken. They
don't have hot dogs, but they have condoms in ky.
(09:52):
That's important, and gave Sharman. I said, I needed some tombs.
They don't have toms. That doesn't do the same thing. Oh,
I sent him hate texts. Did you get my tte texts?
Did you send him a hate text? Yeah? I said, Andrew,
this is not the place that the hot dogs. Everyone
hates you. Oh okay, let's go to this one. This
is the place one. Oh yeah, no, not not not
(10:14):
that place. No, no, no, no, no, there's a there
is a morning deli that has hot dogs. We get
it all the time. Drink for fifteen nights. Let's Papaya Dog.
Remember when Papaya Dog came to visit us. You don't
remember this. So here in New York City there's an
institution Papaya Dog. Right, Gray's Papaya And I think mister Gray,
(10:38):
he said, you know what, I'm gonna come into your
radio station since you're the big morning show. I'm gonna
be and we're the big hot doggery. We're gonna bring
our hot dogs in there and feed everyone. We're going,
oh my god, the legend. And even though, let's be honest,
you could get you know, a juice and hot dog
for forty five cents. Yeah, he was gonna bring us
a whole table of hot dog catering excellence. He showed
(10:59):
it with two hot dogs. Oh and we're like mister
Craig in a thermos of pineapple juice. And I felt
I've also ungrateful, Like really, we got to cut the
hot dogs in pieces so we could all share. We did.
We were slicing the wieners. All right. Did we find
(11:21):
the place? And I think I did? Can you send
it to Andrew? I went, okay, anyway, we had a
little technical get glitch. Uh we move on. Sorry about that.
I do yell it scary and push him across the room.
You don't tell people who were ordering from they'll they'll
go pee in our breakfast. Ye oh god. Anyway, you
(11:46):
guys ready to move on. I'm the only one that
thinks about security this place. I can find that so funny.
There'd be a line of people down the block waiting
to pee in our food. They would see it scary.
Just gave up the name of the place where we're
gonna order from, and don't do that. There are people
that want to pee in our food. Scar You gotta
fate man. Anyway, we gotta move on. What a show
(12:11):
yesterday with Nile Horn Jonah's brothers. But Nile Horn and

called read across America? Is what it is today? What's
doctor Seuses? Doctor Zeus's birthday And every year on doctor
(15:52):
Zeus's birthday, they have read across America. They encourage, you know,
getting books into the hands and kids. I don't know
if you've ever done that, but it is quite moving.
Doctor Zeus, of course, has so much out there. If
you do a search for doctor Zeus quotes, they're amazing
he has some of the best quotes ever about just
(16:12):
ways to live your life. I say, Zeus, is it Sus? Yeah,
it does start with a Z. No, No, really Seuss?
Why is that when they change that? For a minute,
I thought it was a different day. I'm like, should
I ask? I thought I'd been pronouncing it wrong my
whole life be idiot, I'm being the idiot doctor SEUs. Yeah,
(16:35):
if we could move on and concentrate on what I'm
trying to say rather than how I effed it up.
And it is today March second. Yes, you should have said, no,
it's not doctor Zeus's birthday, but it is doctor Seus's birthday. Well,
we don't want to, you know, It's okay. Can I
get back to what I was talking about? Though? If
you do a search for the quotes from doctor SEUs,
there are some amazing, amazing quotes from from the mind
of this man. I mean, just incredible, inspiring and uplifting.
(16:58):
Just do a search for doctors SEUs quotes. Okay, let's
do that. What's that straight name? Speaking of speaking of
children's books, have we ever had the Barrenstein Barren stayin
Bears conversation? No, so growing up I was convinced, Are
you sure Baron Stein? It very well might be, But
growing up I was convinced it was Baron Stein Bears. Yeah,
(17:22):
and no, it's Barren stayin bear tat. Oh. No, it's
the names spell sti n. It's spelled stai N. It's
one of those things that I think there's a glitch
in the matrix because growing up I was convinced it
was Barren Stein ste i n right, and now it
(17:43):
is Barren Stains. It will blow your mind. Okay, what else,
somebody that grew up with that book? What else did
you recently learn? You've been wrong about your entire life
other than your career choice, your choice of friends in
this room, I don't know. Oh I I mean you
don't know, because you still don't know, is my point? Right?
(18:05):
There are things that you're saying incorrectly, Like I was
saying doctor Seus's name incorrectly all these years. Huh. Well,
you know the famous toy store that was here in
New York City. Oh, that Schwarz. But people say Schwartz.
I didn't say Schwarz. Wow. Yeah, But at the end
(18:25):
of the day, I know what you're saying. Point Setia yep. Yeah.
People get really mad with the point setia conversation. Certain,
you know country, No, most part of the country. Yeh,
says point set. And it's wrong, but it's I know,
but you sound like it sound like a little ahole.
(18:47):
I'm like, I'm sorry if point sedia we're talking about
the Christmas flower past think gets upset with me over
the thing. What's the thing that you use on your
computer that you use a piece of paper, It comes
out of it and it's got words on it. What
do you call that? A printer? Right? I call it
a printer. Lisa goes, why do you pronounce the t.
It's just a printer. I'm like, it's not a pri
in the d R, it's a printer. It's a printer. Well,
(19:08):
if you're from the south n printers, Yes, Mike, I
don't talk that way. It's a printer. It is a printer, right,
thank you, But you know, I don't know because I'm
being from Dallas in this in the South or west
whatever I would say printer without thinking printer. Don't go
a T on it. What's scary? I used to think
it was for all intensive purposes, but it's for all
(19:31):
intents and purposes. It is true. Yeah, there you go.
All right, we gotta move on once again. We're going
on and on and on and not really solving anything.
But uh yeah, do a search for doctor Seus's quotes uplifting.
It'll make your day, Danielle. Let's get going, all right.
So I Heart Radio is doing something special, of course,
for International Women's Day. They See Her Hear Her event.
(19:53):
It will feature Glorious Stefan and others's guests. They're going
to share their stories of success. It's all happening on
March eighth. It's a one hour program and of course
it will be available on demand until March fourteenth. So
McDonald's restaurants are having this CARDI B Offset meal and
some places are upset because it's supposed to be a
(20:13):
family friendly established and somebody that's not they should get hurt. Um.
So corporate has received a bunch of complaints by franchises,
some of them who refuse to promote the menu because
they don't believe the couple is family friendly. So yeah,
(20:34):
so that's going on, just letting you know. I find
them very friendly, friendly family, very family friendly. So yeah,
I mean I I kind of understand it a little bit,
but yeah, I didn't really to have some you know,
I don't know. I'll have to do some research on
that for you. Only I know why doesn't want look
at me like that? I don't know. Britney Spears bought
(20:54):
her Calabasa's home for eleven point eight million dollars and
she listened it right away for twelve million dollars, but
it didn't sell, so she had to sell it for
ten point one million dollars. So she bought it and
sold it and lost a couple of million dollars. The
reason that she sold it so fast was she didn't
feel like she had enough privacy in the area. That
(21:15):
was just like too much going on in the area,
so she didn't know she sold it real fast. This
is for you, Froggy. The Netflix documentary about porn finally
something you'll want to watch on television. It's called money
Shot the Porn Hub Story. The trailer is out and
it is a rise and fall of the billion dollar corporation.
It actually hits Netflix March fifteenth. There's also the Paramount
(21:37):
plus trailer for Fatal Attraction, the television reboot eight episodes
of that hitting us in April thirtieth. Joshua Jackson is
in that one. It'll be interesting. You know what's coming
out on CNN What it's called glitch The Rise and
Fall of HQ Trivia Q Trivia. Oh yeah, we all
played it for like a hot minute and then it
just went away and the guy would host every day
(21:58):
and you can win points and stuff like that, right
or money, and it went away. Apparently the two guys
that invented it had a lot of problems with each other.
And there's a story. Oh it's interesting because HQ Trivia
was huge, but only for a split second. You don't
remember it, do you, Gandhi, No, it was only maybe
five years ago. Yeah, all right, we'll look it up.
(22:19):
I'm so excited about it. We move on, okay. Rsilla
Presley is going to voice herself on an animated series
called Agent Elvis. Elvis is a secret government agent. Matthew
McConaughey actually plays Elvis Mirkes seventeenth on Netflix. Stranger Things
is getting an official prequel play in London later this year.
It'll take place in nineteen fifty nine, Hawkins. There'll be
(22:41):
young versions of some of the characters, and people are
excited about that. One. Let's see Gray's Young Sheldon beat
Bobby Flay. All On tonight, Hulu gives you Dragons the
Nine Realms, all of your episodes of that. There's something
a National Geographic or actually Hulu National Geographic for you, Nate.
They're investigating Guantanamo. So that's the premiere of that. Tonight
(23:04):
I started watching something from twenty nineteen, Paul Rudd Living
with Yourself on Netflix. They're like twenty six minute little episode.
There's eight of them, and I am loving it. I
actually slept better after watching it last night because I
laughed instead of watching something where everyone was being killed.
Oh so you may want to check it out if
(23:25):
you get a chance. And that's my Daniel year. Was
it from twenty nineteen? All right? So HQ Trivia Gandhi
players have ten seconds on your HQ app and by
the way, you can still download it. I don't know
if it's the same game. You have ten seconds to
answer multiple choice questions that in incremently guy can't say it,
stupid word. They increase in difficulty as you go. Okay,
(23:45):
and you can win. You can win. I think it
was money or points? Yeah, you still play this? Split
it up? Well, they still have the app. I don't
know if it's the same, but they and they had
this announcement. He became kind of popular, Trip Scott. He
was a kind of popular for a minute, but then
it went away sometime. I remember it. I don't think
they ever paid attention to it, but I remember the name.
(24:07):
So who is keeping up with or has completed the
murdoch a documentary? God? I finished it last night. Happy.
It was only three episodes. That was good. I wanted more.
It was yeah, well I think you may get more
after the trial ends soon. That was actually kind of
great about it is you get to watch all of
this and then roll right into the trial and see
what's actually happening in real time, which is so disturbing
(24:31):
and it is it is wild. Yeah, but wow, what
a family. I want to talk about that family and
the families like them. Are you scared people who live
on a path of just deceit and destruction but they
don't know it's wrong, right because they've just grown up
like that. They have no clue what you're doing is wrong. Anyway,
We're getting to that later. It sounds like a fun conversation. Hello, Katie, Hey,
(24:55):
how are you. We're doing well. Now, how when did
you learn about cookie sheet and cooking sheet? So? I
was at Marshall's and I was looking for what I
saw was a cookie sheet, right, and on the on
the actual thing, you said, it's actually called a cooking sheet.
So for my entire life, I've been calling it a
(25:18):
cookie sheet, but it's actually a cookie sheet. Well, i'll
tell you now, just because you saw that it Marshall's
doesn't mean that you were wrong, because there are cookie
sheets and that's okay, but you know it's okay. I
might was blown. I called my mom, I called everyone.
You know what happened? Whoever made that label? Maybe they
were wrong and you've been right all this time. I
(25:38):
refused to call it a cooking sheet. I'm sorry. Yeah, no,
it's a Can we take a vote, it's cookie sheet, Katie?
We vote you right? All along? Yeah you're good, Yeah,
thank you, You're very welcome. Have a nice day. There's
a different Is there a difference between a cookie sheet
and a roasting There's like, what's the kind that has
the edges versus just the flat one with no edges,
(26:01):
that's a rimmed baking sheet. I think, what do you
why do you need a rimmed one? Is it going
to do? In case there's any Jews that Hello, Lisa,
I Lisa, this conversation has gone on way too long.
We're going to nip it in the what We're gonna
nip it in the bud? Not? But yeah I thought
(26:23):
it was, but two makes more sense? Yeah, exactly, you
know you you were great. It's not nipping in the butt,
it's nipping in the bud. But but it's more fun
and i'd rather Can we just change that? Can we
be the Can we be the council that changes it
to nip it in the butt? Yeah? I feel like
I just learned that a year ago and I'm still
(26:45):
using but because but it's just better. Well we just
voted it's okay, but is better? But is better? Okay? Great,
all right, listen, go have a good day and we're
gonna nip this called in the butt. Okay, great, thank you? Okay, bye?
All right? Set me up? What time is mc lamora?
What time is Jimmy Fallon? Lamore is in an hour
and a half and Jimmy Fallon's in two hours. Excellent,
(27:07):
let's go. We should take a break before things get
out of hand. We'll be back after this. His voice

that lead to other conversations to other conversations. We rabbit
hole this thing right right now, we're into the Mendela effect.
I'm upset where people think for years and years and
years that something is called something or happened a certain
(27:50):
way and it never did. It was a rumor at
one time, and it became truth for many people. Mendela
effect named after of course, Nelson Mandela. It was rumored
a lot of people, not rumored, but a lot of
people thought he passed away while in prison. He didn't.
He was actually actually released and did a lot of
great stuff after he was released from prison in Africa. Yeah, so,
but for many years, many people thought that was the
(28:12):
end for him and it wasn't. That's where it came from.
So you go down this list of things that are
on the Mandela effect list. Yes, apparently Darth Vader never
says Luke, I am your father? What never says it?
What does he say? No, I am your father? No,
it doesn't call him luke? Yeah, all right, mirror mirror
on the wall, right, Nope, it's magic mirror on the wall. No,
(28:34):
it's not that is bull Well, see you're falling into
the Mandela effect. Whatever vitim you're a victim to the
Mendela effect. The Looney Tunes Looney t O O N
S or t U N E S. I thought it
was t O O N s No? Is it because
(28:57):
it's musical? Two? Is that why it's spelled that way?
Let's go to Live to Scotti b our cereal expert.
What what cereals? Have we been spelling wrong all these years?
Fruit loops? Yeah, well people spell fruit loops f r
U I T But it's f r oot because there's
no fruit in it. Oh, thank you, Scotty. Do you
think there's there's no fruit in it? But what else
(29:19):
is on the list? The monopoly man in his monocle.
He knows, he doesn't know that that's mister peanut. Yeah,
people said that mister Peanut with this with his monocle
and spats kit kat. Does it have a hyphen or
does it not have a hyphen? I don't know. Oh,
I don't know. No hyphen No, yeah, right with the
hyphen all of the time. Very crazy. The cheese, it's
(29:41):
is it cheese? It cheese? It's which is it cheese?
It's I don't know, there's no Z. There's a Z. No.
But what if it's several? What if it's plural, Well
then I think there'd be an S. But people say
it with a zees. Yeah, double stuff oreos, there's only
one f Oh, oh my god, I don't This is
(30:02):
driving me into Doesn't this make you think we're just
in a simulation. We're all computer program a little characters
walking around when stuff like this happens, Now, I totally
believe this. I feel like I'm just a character in
a game and I'm going through like Neo and the Matrix,
and then I realized something like this, and I'm like,
wait a minute, there's somebody pulling the strings. Someone put
(30:26):
the wrong code. Somebody put the wrong code, and we're
all like robots, we're wrong with this wrong. You are
fed up. Many people think, I know, but you're making
like the body like body movements of a robot as
you say that. It more makes me question everything about history,
like what did I learn? What did I think I learned?
What is going on? Like the woman who claimed that
(30:47):
she was part of nine to eleven and she talked
about her flesh burning and she could smell it, and
she wasn't even in the country or in the building
at the time. She had all these vivid memories of
what happened, like what. Well, it just shows you anybody
can say anything, Well, okay, turn on the news today,
and I think it's okay to question every single news
story you hear on the news. Yes, I think it's okay. Uh,
(31:09):
it's okay to say, hey, well that may be close
to the fact, right, may be? What scary? So Elvis
that famous movie Casablanca, What was that line that they
said in it, play you know the piano? Well it
played against Sam? Was that's the rumored line? So what
was the line? She never said, played against Sam? She
said play at once Sam for old time's sake, but
(31:32):
we'd like to hear things in excess. Your breath is
so bad? What are you doing? And this is not
the Mandela effect. It's it's bad, It's really bad. The
thing is every time Scary walks in and says, my
breath is bad because last night you try to give
him gum. That's not where the stink is coming from.
It's coming from his stomach. But doesn't that kind of
(31:53):
put a band aid on the problem a second? No,
that it spells like a spearminty cat box. Oh goding formulas?
Get she wants some? You want another Mandela effect? Yes? Hello,
Clarice never said it's what are you saying? He says,
good morning? What I know? I walk around saying that
all the time. I just made it up in my head.
He doesn't call it. He does call it kiante and
(32:15):
fava beans. Yes, please tell me they He does say,
you're killing me smalls in okay, can you sing the
Mister Rogers theme the beginning, it's a beautiful day in
then in your neighborhood, it's a beautiful day in this
this neighborhood. Yeah, a beautiful day for a neighbor Would
(32:37):
you be so it's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
this neighborhood. Then he throws, going on, if you have
a foot fetish mister Rogers. It's like, yeah, did you
see that famous, famous footage of mister Rogers when he
won I believe an Emmy or Tony because you posted it.
(33:00):
I posted it. Yeah, God, that sound is great. Do
we have that in the in the computer? But mister
Rogers in there. He basically went up there to say
thank you he won an award because God knows that
mister Rogers is so worthy of awards. You sent it
to us on social Yeah. I know it's probably not
in the memory of memory. We'll find it a minute,
but I want you to hear it. It sounds so good.
(33:22):
He talks about thinking about the people who made you great. Oh,
that's nice, and he gave ten seconds of silence on
National TV. He said, I'll count the seconds while you
sit there and just think about that one person that
made you as great as you are. Hell, what a
beautiful message. That is nice. Do you have a person?
(33:44):
Can you think of your person? Yeah? Is it someone
you want to share? We'll talk. We'll talk about it
in a few minutes. I'm gonna play the sound, but
I want you, I want everyone to think about it.
That person that made you great. I may be paraphrasing.
I may be totally off on this. This could be
a Mandela effecting. All right, busy day Maclamore on about
an hour ish something like that. We're gonna corner him
and beg him to come to my York with us.
(34:04):
We want you there too. If you want to go
ahead and book, you can at Elvis Durand's European Vacation
dot com. We already signed up Nile Horn. We corralled
him into it. He was just too easy exactly the day. Yeah,
no problem, Yeah, Elvis Durand's European Vacation so far, starring
Nil Horren. We'll try to see if Maclamore is easy.
(34:26):
Later this morning, text Elvis and the team at fifty
standard data and messaging rates May five, Elvis duran in
the Morning Show. In the Morning Show, I'm still not
quite over what happened between Gandhi and me a second ago.
I want to play this sound that I had posted
on my story yesterday or the day before, sound from
mister Rogers. Yeah, and I couldn't find it. She says, oh, wait,
(34:48):
if you go on your phone, I said, I said,
just here's my phone, find it, So unlocked my phone.
I handed it to her and so Ghandi's started going
through my phone right but she said, here, I want
you to watch me do it, so you know that
I'm not like going, you know, through your stuff. And
I said, what, yeah, what do you mean? Show me
what you're doing on my phone? So I I see
that you're not going to my stuff. I mean your
(35:09):
assistant Andrew turned your location on and shared it with himself.
So people do sketchy things when you hand them their phone.
People will venmo themselves, they'll cash up themselves. People do
all kinds of stuff. I wanted you to see. It
was on the up and up. I can venmo myself
from other people's phone. Ye, yeah, of course you can't
hold on. And I looked at her like I don't.
I totally trust you. You can take my phone for
(35:31):
the weekend even though I need it. You can take
my phone down the hall for an hour to fix
something and bring it back. Am I maybe? Am I
the naive one? Am I the one in the wrong? Yes,
you're very trusting. Don't trust people with your phone, man,
But it's you. Yeah, well, of course I'm not going
to do something weird to you. But why But the
fact that you showed it to me to prove to me, Yeah,
I wanted you to watch that. It was all. It
(35:51):
almost made me feel like maybe you shouldn't be trusting exactly.
I have other people like accused you of doing this. No,
but I'm just saying, if you hand somebody your phone,
they can do things very quickly. I'm very weird, I
be very weird about stuff. So I just wanted you
to see it was all on the up and up self.
Something weird goes down on your phone later it wasn't me.
Oh god, it might be a couple of people here.
(36:13):
I might questions. For the most part, I trust that
this is my problem. I trust everyone here. Yeah, frog,
don't give people your phone. I'm about to drop a
dame in here, but only because it pertains to the story.
I let Enrique I Glasias used my phone one time.
He texted a Danielle in my phone. Oh my god,
I want to have sex with you. I'm so into you.
I love you so much that I've never told you
It wasn't our Danielle on the show. It was my
(36:35):
stepdaughter Danielle. What they do. But I know Enrique, I
know he's that way. I would never give him my phone,
right but anywhere I don't know it was it is Danielle.
Would you would you trust Gandhi with your phone? Yeah?
I trust anybody with my phone. There's nothing like but
but but I don't have anything in there where I
(36:56):
would feel like, oh my gosh, you can't see that,
or that I would worry you do something thing. But
maybe some people do they add that you have nudies
in your phone. No, no, not at all. But what
I'm saying is that that's I don't care if they
see nudies in my phone. It's they could add. They
can add tracers and things to you yell centerfold. I
was on a train one time and a guy asked
(37:17):
if he could use my phone to make a phone call,
and I was like, sure, okay, he said I didn't
have my phone whatever. He called himself and he's like, oh,
now I have your number, we can talk. What why
would you do that? That's very creepy, okay, But my
point is this thinking of human psychology yes, if if
someone has to blatantly prove to me that they're being trustworthy,
it makes me wonder, well, if they have to blatantly
(37:39):
prove that to me, then obviously they may think that
I could have an inkling of mistrust. Yeah, I think
it could be perceived as a weasel. So I just
wanted you to know that I wasn't being weasel. Oh
my god, did you watch PBS to special about weasels
last night? No? It was amazing, really, Oh my god,
PBS it was you know whatever nature show insert nature
(38:02):
show name here. Yeah, this guy is raising weasels over
in the UK. It was fascinating. I've watched this thing
for an hour. Well you know they're weasels, okay, but
so rude that they have that name? What did they
do to deserve it? I know we're running really late,
but I still have to play the sound from mister Rogers.
(38:23):
I mean, we we're so late today. But if you
saw that weasel show, you know what I'm talking about.
It makes you would want one. I already want one.
Do a search PBS weasel Okay, moving on now, Okay, now,
So back in nineteen ninety seven at the Emmy Awards.
They were bestowing a Lifetime Achievement award to mister Rogers,
(38:44):
Fred Rogers, and uh, his acceptance speech is just amazing
and moving. Uh. We're gonna play that for you, and
I want you to hear all of it. Here's the problem.
In the middle of it, he offers ten seconds of silence,
and we can't do that on our show because computers
go crazy and it starts starts playing Madonna. I don't know,
(39:06):
but I want you to hear this. I want you
to think about what he's saying, because it really is fantastic,
A beautiful night in this neighborhood. So many people have
helped me to come to this night. Some of you
are here, some are far away, some are even in heaven.
(39:28):
All of us have special ones who have loved us
into being. Would you just take along with me ten
seconds to think of the people who have helped you
become who you are, those who have cared about you
and wanted what was best for you in life. Ten
(39:52):
seconds of silence. I'll watch the time. So a few
people started giggling. He's looking. He's looking at his watch.
And by the way, if you're in an audience, ten
seconds or silence is a little uncomfortable unless you're doing
what he told you to do. Right. All right, let's
go back to the action. Mister whoever you've been thinking about,
(40:13):
how pleased they must be to know the difference you
feel they've made. You know, they're the kind of people
television does well to offer our world. Special thanks to
my family and friends, and to my co workers in
public broadcasting, family Communications, and this academy for encouraging me,
(40:39):
allowing me all these years to be your neighbor. May
God do your fan So you know, it was it
was just quite five six years ago that there was
a documentary that came out and there was the Tom
Tom Hanks, Yeah movie document about no documented, but movie
about mister Rogers. But that memory was just amazing. A
(41:02):
lot of people felt because of the cadence of his
voice and the fact that he was so so into
helping children grow and learn, that there was something wrong
with him. And I was so upset when I heard
that that was sort of like the rumor going around
it was, it couldn't be further from the truth. You know,
(41:23):
he should be celebrated, this mister Rogers guy. He did
all sorts of fantastic things for kids and for public
television and anyway. The documentary came out in twenty eighteen.
Yeah wow, what was it called? Won't You Be My Name?
Won't you Be my neighbor? Hey? So did you think
about that person in your life? Of course? It must
be so proud of who you've become. Who is it,
Danielle see? And I want to say too, because I
(41:44):
want to say my mom and my dad Because my
dad was my biggest supporter for like, you know, before
he passed away. He was you know, anytime I doubted anything,
he would be the one to say no, no, no.
But my mom, I think, molded me into who I am.
And my mom always taught me just kindness, and she
always said, who cares what other people do? You do
(42:04):
what you think is the right thing to do. And
I just I've always felt like that was so important
and I just feel like that is harmontra. Just be kind,
say something kind, be a nice person. You know what
about you? Gandhi? Mom and dad for sure, but also
more than them, my sister. I think that the three
of them together, they created a safety net for me
(42:24):
in life that I don't think you really think about
until you're older. But they made it comfortable for me
to take every leap that I ever wanted to and
not worry about what if I fall, because I always knew, well,
someone's going to catch me. I'll be okay if I
feel at this, They're going to be there for me.
And I think that makes all the difference in the world.
And I love them for that, you know, amazing. And
I say mom and dad too, Yeah, yeah, you know anyway,
(42:45):
and I'll leave it at that, but yeah, I've got
to go kind of quick though, That's why. But I
wanted to hear what, especially what you two had to say. Froggy,
who was it? Go? Definitely my mom and actually my
wife Ali says, well, oh look we have a new entry.
Oh what about your scary My mom, and even more
so my dad because he wears my my jackets and
my clothing and my Elvis d Rancho logo stuff, and
(43:07):
he says, look, this is my son. I think our
dad's hung out. They go definitely my parents too. Yeah, yeah, wow,
So you know, I bet there are a lot of
people listening who can't say their parents. Yeah, we're very
blessed that we can, very very But if he can't
set your parents. Who was it? Who was it? That's
so proud of what you've become, and maybe they don't
(43:29):
give themselves credit for helping you become. Then I love that.
Thank you, mister Rogers. We got to get into the
three things we need to know from Gandhi. Gandhi, what's
going on the prosecutor and the Alec Murdoch double murder
murder trial. Wow, it's nice to get that out. Just
finished closing arguments yesterday. The jurors in the case visited
the South Carolina property where Murdoch's wife Maggie and son
Paul were killed in June of twenty twenty one. He's
(43:52):
a former prominent attorney and is accused of fatally shooting
both of them. Closing arguments then started around noon, with
the state laying out their case for over three hours.
The defense will start their closing arguments when court resumes
this morning, and then we will all wait and see
what's going to happen. The UN's nuclear watchdog says it
found uranium near bomb grade levels at a nuclear factory
(44:12):
in Iran. According to CNN, the International Atomic Energy Agency
took samples from the environment at the plant that showed
uranium particles enriched to about eighty four percent. To make
a nuclear bomb, particles would need to be at ninety
percent enrichment levels. The US has warned that Tehran would
be able to build a nuclear bomb soon. And finally,
on much brighter note, a new report says that just
(44:33):
eleven minutes of moderate exercise every day could lower a
person's risk of premature death. Only eleven minutes. We can
all squeeze that in right. Researchers analyze shots fired. Researchers
analyzed data from nearly two hundred studies involving more than
thirty million people around the world. They found that people
who were moderately active for seventy five minutes a week
had lower risks of overall mortality. So good luck eleven
(44:56):
minutes everybody, and those are your three things. Thank you,

Who does the phone tap? Today's scary Elvis Elvis Duran
(46:47):
the Elvis durand phone tap Garrett, Yes, go right ahead,
all right. Karen's playing a phone tap on her husband Mark.
They're doing some construction on their house, and they have
a big dumpster outside the front of their house, and
people have been coming by and throwing their garbage in
Mark and Karen's dumpster. Why don't you do that when
you see dumpsters in the neighborhood, of course, community dumpsters.
So of course Mark's paying for this out of his pocket,
(47:08):
so he wants to catch the people that are dumping
stuff in his dumpster. So this is a perfect time
to phone tap him. Here we go, hello tree for you.
There's someone throwing stuff on the dumpster again. What is it?
Who's doing it? I don't know. I actually no, I
don't recognize him. What is he putting in there? I
don't I don't know. Just we'll go outside and look,
(47:29):
because I'm not done with this. Like everybody's tossing stuff
in there and we're paying for this. Okay, okay, no, seriously,
go outside because I've had it. I've had it, Like
I wake up in the morning. This thing was like
a quarterfool yesterday and yeah, and then like this morning
there was like something. I'll go and say something. All right, hurry,
I don't excuse me. Yeah, can you give me a
hand as prole. It's a little heavy. I can't get it.
(47:50):
Say toilet, hold on, hold on, Do not tell me
that God said I'm putting a toilet in there, sir,
Please stop, This is not dump you know what. Karen
put him on the phone. Can you do me a favorite?
Just close my trunk, passed the phone to him. Okay,
here here you yeah, who's this. I'm the man who
owns the house that you're throwing stuff in my dumpster? Well, well, sir,
(48:11):
it's a it's a dumpster on a street, so I
just assumed it was. No. No, it's a dumpster on
the street in front of my house. That means, first off,
I don't see your name on it. Are you putting
in my dumpster? That's why I need to know. Obviously,
I just put a toilet in there that I needed
to get rid of. Obviously, obviously that's illegal. This is
not a public dumpster. I want you to go out there,
(48:32):
and I want you to get that out of my dumpster.
I'm all right, Well, the first off of the toilet
is heavy enough to get into the dumpster. I'm not
gonna take it out all this. If you're gonna throw
your stuff in, you're gonna give me a chest because
I'm paying for this service, buddy. All right, this is
a loaded ma'am. Here here, uh here, take the take
the phone, honey, honey, favor. Obviously, if he's throwing stuff
(48:53):
in there, what is he pulling it out of a truck?
Oh my god, I thought you told him to stop,
and he's still doing it at the very least right
down of license plate number. And get this, I have
to go back in to get a pen. Oh, my gosh,
Oh my gosh, what are you doing mattress in there? Okay,
this is out of control. You have toss. Hey, man,
can you just give me a hand with these tires?
I just gotta get these times. Stand in front of
(49:13):
his car. I'm gonna excuse myself from working. I'll come home.
Just stand in front of his trucks. Excuse me. Put
the phone. I swear, I just got one more thing.
Put him on the phone right now. My husband would
like to talk to you against all right, all right, okay, yeah,
put that, Yeah, put the favor. Just stop talking for
a second, buddy. I am coming home right now. If
you don't get that stuff out of the dumpster, I'm
checking legal action. I'm calling the police, and you're gonna
(49:35):
pay for this. Okay, all right, all right, listen, you
listen to me. You get that stuff out of my dumpster.
I'm on my way home. If the guy still there, yes,
did you take down his license plate number? Come home?
But now, what do you mean there's no need to
come home. You couldn't handle it. It's infuriating his neighborhood.
(49:56):
Come yet, at it, grown man. I'm not paying for
the service for other people. To throw there it would
you like to be done with this, sir series. Okay, listen, no, no, no,
stop talking about he listen to me. Get your out
of my I can end you right now. You get
the stuff out of there, will end it. My name's
Garrett from elvistur end in the morning show. And you
just got phone tapped by your wife. Oh my god,
(50:18):
I am halfway home. What am I supposed to do? Now?

change a life. And the life we're changing is named Amanda.

just won one thousand dollars. Yeah, I know, how cool
(50:41):
is that? That is really cool? Every morning? I love that. Hey,
did you hear that conversation we talked about a few
moments ago about mister Rogers asking you to think about
who made you as great as you are? Do you
have a name? My my mom and my grandmother Mary
and Diane. I love that. You know a lot of
people were checking in saying that they can't really name
(51:03):
anyone who made them as great as they are except
for themselves. And I think that's that's a good way
of looking at it too. You know a lot of
people are self made, but your grandma and your mom.
I love that, Amanda. And yeah, so obviously I hope
it moves on and you now become the person making
someone else great. Thank you. Actually, I'm starting with my
(51:23):
students today. I'm a home care physical therapist and he's
just I just met him right now. Oh okay, well
let me get you back to work then, Amanda, congratulations

Us is directed. There's only two types of people in
the world, and the same and the ones that observed.
Duran is the ringleader New York City Radio, a legend,
(52:28):
legend leader. I call the shots, speak speak, I said, Capricorn.
I'm like the fire cracker. I'm making happy. Let's make

so awesome. He's a legend. Hey, so much to do.
It is Thursday. It's Food News Day, our favorite day
of the week. That's coming up with Froggy Danielle's report. Also,
(53:12):
we got to go around the room at some point
and mc lamar coming in. You know, we're got to
talk him into coming to Mayarca with us. I hope
it's as easy as it was yesterday with Nile. I
don't know. I know. I think we should give ourselves
more credit. I think people want to hang out with us.
I think so too. But we've tipped our hats, so
we've given him time to come up with an excuse
if he doesn't want to do it. I don't know, Danielle.
I want to start with you. And then we got
(53:33):
a food news with Froggy. So much to do? You go?
All right? So Travis Scott became a little unhitched to
add a New York City nightclub yesterday morning. He was drunk.
Supposedly he caused a lot of damage. He supposedly my
head buff hit somebody. They're still all looking into this
and trying to figure it out, but they're saying twelve
(53:53):
thousand dollars worth of damage he did to a bunch
of equipment, now sound equipment. Obviously, he visited our our
studio the day before. That's why nothing worked yesterday. I
know why. Oh my gosh, told you guys that Charon
is going to be giving us his new one. It's
called Subtract. And he said that this album he has
been working on for a very long time. He posted
(54:17):
on Instagram talking about his wife, Cherry and how he
found out that she had a tumor when she was
pregnant with their second child. That nothing could be done
until the baby was delivered. Um, but it seems like
everything is okay now, thank goodness, he says. He wrote
the new album as a form of therapy in just
over a week. Um, the new part of the album
and everything, because like I said, he's been working on
(54:37):
for a while. I know he scrapped a lot of stuff.
It will come out May fifth, on a note, Nate
and I very excited that one. And if you haven't
been doing a cold Play tour now you can. Music
of the Sphears Live at River Plate will be out
next month. Um. I think you even have to buy
tickets to watch the film. It will be filmed. It
was filmed in Bueness Ours. They were there for ten
(54:58):
days doing concerts. So yeah, me too. Um so tickets
going side. I think it's going to be in certain theaters,
so you're gonna have to just check, you know your
local list. Let's do a fly away to Buenos Artist. Yeah,
oh yeah, Argentina. Don't cry for me, that's right. Travis
Barker's finger injury has put Blink one eighty two is
touring plans on hold. I know you were really excited
(55:21):
about it, right, scary that Blink one eight two was
going on tour so they were yeah, well they were
supposed to start in March in Tijuana, but they're not so.
I guess everything else is going to be a coming. Yeah, sorry, scary.
He hurt his finger. He's got again, search around his finger,
all right, his finger? You know, you know, you know
(55:41):
when's Kalifa. Scoop Doog dropped a collab yesterday that we've
been waiting for called Don't Call, Don't Text. I'm sure
that Garrett will be playing you a little sample of that,
and Fox Nation will release a five part docuseries Jesse
Smillette Anatomy of a Hoax. You guys, remember what happened
with the hate crime that they supposed he said that
he set up in twenty nineteen, March thirteenth, that's when
(56:04):
you can see that on Fox Nation. Last night, the
mass singer kicked off. Not gonna tell you what happened,
Just gonna tell you there was a California role Medusa
and a polar Bear. That's all. The California rowle was cute, Okay,
Grayson out of the Young Show then beat Bobby Flay.
You also have Living with Yourself, which came out in
twenty nineteen. That's with Paul Rudd. It's really cute. They're
(56:25):
twenty six minute little you know, eight episodes. Um not vin, Yes,
what are you? Twenty six minutes so short to me though,
it's like a little episode. As little episode, I tell you,
it's much better to go to bed after watching that
than watching like someone Kill Somebody, which is what I like, murdily,
which is what we normally watched. I sleep better now
that the Murdo family exists. That's called living with yourself.
(56:48):
That's my Daniel report, Food reporting, Froggy's news. It's food
news Thursday. All right, Froggy, let's go. What are you
guy going on? All right, I've got so much fast
food news. Here we go. Let's roll through this first.
There are nearly six thousand Windy's locations across the US
in more than twenty six hundred cities, so there's a
(57:09):
good chance if you want Wendy's chili, you don't have
a hard time finding it. But now, ladies and gentlemen,
Wendy's is releasing single serve cans other chili in grocery
stores nationwide. There is no official release date, but I
am hearing some Kroger stories already have it on the show. Yeah,
Wendy's Chili when you want it at your groceries and
you can get it in your can can. KFC, you
(57:33):
remember the double Down sandwich. H it was the two
chicken filets. They replaced the bun with cheese and two
strips of bacon, mayo or spicy sauce. Well, the Double
Down first appeared back in two and ten. They sold
more than ten thousand of these sandwiches. But then the
double Down came back for a little bit in twenty fourteen. Well,
ladies and gentlemen, it returns on March sixth next week
(57:54):
for four weeks, you can get the KFC Double Down sandwich.
It is only a whopping nine hundred and fifty Yeah,
how many people died from the original run exactly. Burger
King has announced that they've got their spicy version of
the b K chicken fries coming to stores March sixth
through May fourteenth. The original chicken fries were sold in
(58:14):
two thousand and five. They made it to be a full,
full time staple on the menu in twenty fifteen. But
now it is coming back with a version of spicy
chicken fries. You can get those once again March six
through the fourteenth. Nate, this is all for you. McDonald's
is pairing up with Krispy Kreme. Oh what, Yes, McDonald's
(58:35):
is testing in some markets. It is going to go nationwide.
They are testing they are selling the original glaze Krispy
Kreme donuts at McDonald's also a chocolate glazed donut as well.
They're testing it out in Kentucky and expanding it through
other markets, expected to go nationwide later this year. Speaking
of Kentucky, how about some fried chicken story here? What
do you you? I've been doing account so far. You're
(58:57):
up to twenty eight thousand calories. And don't forget. Daniel
told us yesterday an c movie theater popcorn is available
before the Oscars March eleventh. You can get that in
your grocery store. I gotta throwards to Scotty real quick.
He's got some good cereal news for us. Well, it's
kind of sereal news. So Frankfort is a candy company
that they license brands. They've got your Cocoa Pebbles stuff,
(59:19):
and your fruity Pebbles chocolate and stuff like that. So
now for Easter, they've paired up with Kelloggs Rice Crispies
and they have these new marshmallow flavored candy eggs, so
it's kind of like a chocolate consistency, but it tastes
like marshmallow. And there are Rice Crispies embedded on the
inside of it. I'd like one of those. And that's
not Cereal, is it. Well, it's Rice Crispies branded. And
they also have the big Bunny too. Oh look at
(59:41):
the bunny. Yeah, they're available at Target and Amazon. Oh
it's peep season, guys. All right, you ready for the countdown?
Oh yeah, here we go. Let's be top five most
eaten foods in the United States of America. Coming in
at number five pizza Oh really almost five? Wow? Oh
my god. Number four is Oreo cookies. Oh wow. Number
(01:00:07):
three French fries. This is crazy. Number two with something
Elvis wanted this morning, a big old hot dog. Yeah,
every day exactly. And number one that we eat the
most of the US hamburgers. Pizza wasn't higher on that
(01:00:27):
line to me too. Also, like I don't know, like
where was like peanut butter and jelly. Oh yeah, tacos
were basic top five, not in the top five faulty
research to food. It was like brie scary Super Bowl party?
(01:00:52):
Where were the black Truffles. Yeah, black Truffle, such a
good name for a band. Oh yes, you know in
my drag days I was black Truffle. Are you yeah?
Welcome to the stage, Black Truffle. Let's go around the room.
What's on your mind? I'm thinking about you. We'll start
(01:01:12):
with you, scary. What's going on? Here's a very concerning
statistic that from several news sources that they say that
gen Z you know, people who are twenty five and
under are seven times more likely to use the TikTok
search bar when they want to google news stories rather
than going to Google itself. So they're going within it's
the TikTok app to search for things that quote are real,
(01:01:33):
and then that's where they're getting their news from. So
who knows if they're being served real news on TikTok.
I don't know. Thank you, China Gandhi, what's up with you? Okay?
So our first caller this morning was talking about how
her friend is moving out of a shelter and into
an apartment today, which is really exciting, but it made
me remember that one of my friends did not know this,
(01:01:53):
so maybe others don't. If you ever go to a
hotel and they have all of the sample size shampoo, soap, conditioner.
Take them because shelters want those things. And you can
donate and you can help a lot of people don't
have money to give. But if you are at a
hotel or you're somewhere where they have the little sample sizes,
take them, don't open them and donate. You'll do a
good thing. And hotels will not charge it for them.
They will not charge you for them, most of them anyway.
(01:02:14):
Oh I have someone charged it. Yeah, we're assuming, Yeah,
but do it. It's a good thing. That is a
great idea. Those little bottles are needed. Hey yeah, Froggy,
what are you thinking about. I just want to say
real quick, thank you very much and I love you
to my wife Lisa. Today has twenty one years we've
been married. She is the most wonderful, beautiful and patient
(01:02:34):
person I have ever met. And I am very thankful
for you, and so I just want to make that
very clear. Well, you know what, she's got a pretty
good deal with you, two frogs. Let's not just count
that fact she does. But I love her. Happy anniversary,
and I look forward to spending tonight with you. Blake
Shelton tonight. Yeah, Hey, what's going on, Producer Sam. If
there's something in your life that you want to do
and you feel like lately maybe you can't afford it
(01:02:56):
might just be a matter of looking at where you
put your money and reassessing. I've been wanting to take
these pottery classes for a long time, couldn't afford them.
And then I just looked at where I was putting
my money, and I was putting a lot of money
in things I could very easily wipe from my life
right now. So I did that, and lo and behold,
I was able to sign up for my pottery classes
a couple of months ago. So if there's something you
(01:03:17):
want and you're just like, I can't do it right now,
maybe you can. Maybe you're just not being as responsible
as you should be in other avenues and you could
make it work. That's not fun, but pottery is it is.
It's true. Thank you very much, Producer Sam. Hey, what's up, Danielle.
So when I was a kid, I got a dollar
from the Damn Tooth Fairy when my tooth fell out.
(01:03:38):
A dollar, that's it. What'd you get a dollar? My
mother used a twenty five cents blah, blah blah. It's
apparently inflation has affected the tooth Fairy. Well, how much
are they now? Six dollars and twenty three cents? Tooth Nate,
come beat my mouth are in our mouth? I don't know.
The first time the tooth Fairy came to see me,
(01:04:00):
I got like forty five dollars. Well, they all fell
out at the same time. My sister in law gave
a lot of money for the first tooth, and I
was like yelling at her. But I mean I could
see the first tooth, but after that the teeth aren't
is worth as much? Tooth fairy, what are you doing?
Are used to get five? You mean knocked that out? Yeah?
Come do it please? My sister in law gave money,
(01:04:21):
and the tooth fairy gave money. How is that? I mean,
I'm like, I don't understand how this works. This is
I think they're over blowing this. Let's let's the tooth
three just fly away? That's no, the tooth fairy. What
if I lose a crown? What do I get for that?
Who knows? Fell out? Oh? God? Where's the vineer fairy? Hello?
Straight name? Okay? A lot of worry, A lot of
(01:04:43):
people anxious. I came across a quote yesterday. I think
it bears repeating for everybody listening. It's today is that
tomorrow you were so worried about yesterday. No matter how
bad things are, just know that you've gone through it
already and you're gonna keep going through it, keep pushing.
Say it again, Today is the tomorrow you were so
worried about yesterday. And I think that actually comes from
(01:05:06):
Dale Carnegie, one of your favorite people. I love him.
But I was watching a video with Anthony Hopkins, better
known as the guy from Silence of the Lambs, and
he said that, and I'm like, wow, that's so true.
We were so worried about something yesterday, and you know what,
we got through it today. We're probably worried about something.
We're gonna be through that. It's going to be tomorrow.
We're gonna get through it. Well. I guess we can
(01:05:28):
all relate on different levels. Thank you, Nate, love you,
love you. Hey. That's what was I reading yesterday, about
how we are causing ourselves the biggest amount of negative
energy and grief because we overthink everything. Did you see
this story? I did. I cannot remember where it was.
(01:05:49):
Let me see well, no overthink in final no. But
but we are actually, and I'm assuming everyone listening to
this conversation right now, what I'm saying. We go into
our heads and we have this dialogue that just pounds
us down without thinking about it. We're not consciously going, Okay,
(01:06:10):
it's time for me to think something really nasty about
me or nasty about the world that makes me upset.
We really overthink everything and overthinking, you know, and you
could actually connect it to mental health. It really is
a part of mental health, and making yourself mentally healthier
is learning how to control these overthinking moments. You know. So,
(01:06:30):
did you see something? I mean, there are a million
articles that are popping up about pick one and push play. Yes,
I'm producer Sam. I was just talking with a friend
about this at dinner and she found an exercise. If
you're talking about yourself specifically, just try saying it out loud,
because over time you will realize how much worse you
are to yourself than you'd accept one anyone else being,
(01:06:51):
or two you being to someone else. Just saying it
out loud will really help you realize it and maybe
curb that at least a bit. And if you're like me.
I don't really have an inner dialogue about how I
don't like me. I really okay with me. But I
do have aner dialogue about things that bother me, things
that I've conversations I've had with people that I've just
hit me wrong, and we dive into it and we
swim in it and we don't let it go. I'm
(01:07:13):
we're the world's worst at that. Yeah. So psychologists say
that ruminating, which is something you talked about not too
long ago, ruminating, right, Yes, ruminating actually causes a spike
in depression and anxiety because when you worry about something
that you don't know the outcome too, you are putting
yourself through that thing twice because you're worrying about it
in advance, and if it happens, then you have to
worry about it again, whereas if it didn't happen, you
(01:07:34):
didn't have to worry about it. So try not to
ruminate too much on the things that you can't control,
and cross that bridge when you come to it. And
in the world of ruminating, they said, there are a
few simple things like go listen to a song and
sing the words out loud. I mean, are things that
you're like, oh, that sounds so stupid. So good, they say,
first thing in the morning, like, if you can look
yourself in the mirror and say, I got this, I'm
a great person. I've got this day. Whatever they throw
(01:07:56):
at me, We're going to tackle it. Keep going like
and give yourself like that positive reinforcement, and you keep
doing it every day. You get into this habit and
it changes your mindset. All right, remind me to do
that tomorrow. Wake up next to me and tell me
to do that. Okay. So Danielle, you are like me, Yeah,
I could say green. Yeah, and you will think, oh,
(01:08:17):
it's a color inside your head, and then you'll start
thinking oh green money, okay, money, and you you you,
you build these stories and it turns into this monster
of a ball of negativity. She will say. My husband
will say to me, where the hell did you come
up with it? Exactly? And I'm like, well, from this,
this and this, He goes, that's what you've got out
of that exactly. Yeah, we got to start doing something
about that. I don't know. Anyway, take care of yourself,
(01:08:40):
but be aware of be aware of the conversations you're
having in your head. Because most of it. We're so
used to doing it. We've been doing it for how
many years? You forget you're doing it? Yeah, but you
are when you're idle and not we're just listimes. So
and said, hey, what are you thinking about? And you
actually could honestly say, God, I'm not thinking about anything.
I don't think I'm ever not thinking about anything too.
(01:09:01):
I was. But if some Alex though, Alex, he can
actually say, you know what I was thinking about? Nothing? Really,
I was just kind of looking at the trees going by.
Isn't that what they teach you and like meditation to
try and like just not think about anything at well,
it's letting meditation. Also, it's about letting things go. They
say in meditation. If a thought comes your way, treat
it like you're standing on a bridge and there's a
(01:09:21):
creek below you, and you see a leaf floating down
the creek. Yeah, let the leaf keep going down the
creek and then let it go. I think that's one
of the principles of meditation. I don't know, Yeah, scary,
what's up? I feel like I'm You're like your husband, Alex.
There are times my mind goes blank and I really
am truly not thinking of anything. We know we want
to talk to you about it, and we're a little
we're a little jealous about it. Seriously, to be able
(01:09:44):
to say I'm not thinking about anything, I would love
to be able to do that. I think Jay Shetty
can do that. Oh my god, Jetty's in my prep today.
Here's this book out about love. Have you seen this?
It's it's doing really well. We love Jay Setty. I'll
get to that later. We're going on on and on.
Mc lamar in here, what get in like twenty minutes?
In ten minutes? Why don't you shut me up? Well,
(01:10:06):
because I'm ruminating. What you were saying was very important.
All right, all right, thank you? Yes, mac lamar. On
the way we're going to we're gonna use our trickery.
We're going to talk him into coming to my archt
with us right now. The three things we need to know?
What's up? Gandhi, the man who allegedly brought an explosive
to a Pennsylvania airport earlier this week, will be making
his first appearance in court today. On Monday, TSA agents
(01:10:30):
at the Lehigh Valley International Airport found what they believed
to be an explosive device in a man's checked luggage.
Officials say the device contained flash powder and commercial grade
firework granules, and the suitcase also held a can of butane,
a lighter, and a pipe with powdery residue. He did
flee the scene, but was arrested by the FBI. Yesterday.
A Spirit Airlines flight that was diverted landed safely in Jacksonville, Florida,
(01:10:53):
yesterday after the crew reported a battery and an overhead
been was on fire. The flight that took off from
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport was on the way to
Orlando when the fires started, filling the cabin with smoke,
probably terrifying for everyone who was on board. Reports indicate
as many as ten people were taken to the hospital.
The FAA is investigating, and finally, Utah Wildlife officials are
(01:11:15):
encouraging people to have bullfrogs for dinner. Yeah, bullfrogs are
an invasive species in the area. It's National Invasive Species
Awareness Week, so the Department of Natural Resources is using
the time to remind residents that they can catch and
eat as many bullfrogs as they'd like. The DWR has
even posted a recipe for breaded bull frog legs for
(01:11:35):
anyone who's interested. Hey, Bread and Fried, I'm there, there
you go, and those are your three things. Thank you, guy.

Morning Show. All right, guys, we have we have several
assignments with Micha Lamark. First of all, you know, his
new album Ben is out tonight and all the music
is embargoed. They're not letting anyone play any music till
eleven o'clock tonight. So we have to talk him into
letting us play the song yeah, which is so illegal,
(01:12:19):
but we're gonna do. You know that in the past,
when we've played songs before they released, we got into
we got into big trouble, right, Yeah. But if he
gives us permission, then we're exactly Then he'll be sued
by the record company and we're out of it. Okay.
The other thing we've got to talk him into is
coming to MAJORCA with us. Okay, all right, Oh, he's outside.
I hopefully he's not listening to this. Is he listening
to what we're saying? He's not listening to what we're saying?
(01:12:41):
Is he? Is he listening to what we're saying? Okay, good, Okay,
bring him in. He'll find out a second. Michaelmore, he's
wearing a live leopard. This is I love, this is beautiful.
Come on in. It's so good to see you. Gosh,
look at you. You're look at you a grown up
and everybody, what are you doing? Good to see you too.
(01:13:01):
You know that kid Maclamore now has a seven year
old kid, crazy crazy. I mean, when she was born,
we're like, oh my god, how cool would be to
have Mike Lamore is a dad and now she wants
to trade me in for somebody else. No, Taylor Swift, definitely. Yeah,
she's seven, she's supposed to be a little trouble. That's true.
You know, she's absolutely a gem. And then treble twenty
(01:13:24):
minutes later that she realized though, what dad does. Because
I know a lot of celebrities say, yeah, she doesn't
care that I'm Elsa from Frozen, you know, like, yeah, no,
she knows. She gets it now, it's taken about six
years and finally I became cool the minute that she
hit kindergarten. She was like, oh, you're that guy. I
learned that at school today. Pretend I'm Sloane. Yeah, I
(01:13:46):
know I look a little like her, But pretend I'm daddy.
What do you do? I rap? Okay, yeah, I don't know.
I have to work on that answer. I don't know.
We start working on that. Yeah, okay, Well, so this
is Gandhi. I think we here. Last time mclamar was here,
I was not here. No, okay, so she's been here
for several year. I'm trying to put the math together,
the figure it last time you were here, It doesn't matter.
(01:14:06):
There's are the studios by the way, why, Yeah, this
is amazing. We walked in and sell the red Yeah,
I know every day. And here's Danielle yes or like furniture,
you know. And there's Dave Dyer over there. I love
Dave Dyer. He's the best. All right. So we're gonna
have to full disclosure. Yeah, we're gonna talk. We're gonna
try to talk you into a few things. I don't
(01:14:27):
say that. First of all, your album Ben is out tonight.
At eleven o'clock. So that means there's no music. I
don't have music to play from this album. I want
to talk you into allowing us to play a song.
And I know there are legalities, there's licensing issues, but
I want to play it with the feeling. I'm not
going to be sued, the feeling, the feeling about playing
(01:14:51):
unreleased before the album. Can we even do that? Can
we do that? Can we do that? Come on, Dave Dyer, Dave,
I'll buy we get to call it. Oh, let's do it.
Let's all right, let's do it exclusive. Let's do it here. First,
we're gonna we're gonna screw the man, I mean, who
has it recently? Yeah? All right, so okay, so an
(01:15:14):
unreleased cut, we're gonna premiere the world the world premiere
of which cut are we playing? Do we know? No
bad days? Okay, let's do that one. All right? So
we're okay, So we talked you into that. Yeah, should
I wait for the other one. We'll wait for the
other one. I would just hit him with everything right now. Yeah,
you know, want to go to someone's party and they
just started asking you for crap? I'm like, no, Well,
(01:15:34):
I'll save the other one for a moment. Okay, wow, uh,
text have been coming in already. Please let Maclamore know
how important his music was to me and helped save
my life in twenty sixteen I was in rehab. It
was his music. They kept inspiring me every single day
to keep going and now thanks to him, March eleventh,
eight years clean, eight years sober. Let's give it up
(01:15:55):
for that. I can we give it up for eight
years sober. That's amazing. Absolutely, yeah, absolutely, And and you're
there were some people who go through this process, in
this journey who'd rather keep it private, keep it to themselves.
And if that's their journey, that's the way I want
to do it. Absolutely. Yeah. You've been very vocal about it.
I have, and what motivates you to be vocal about it?
(01:16:16):
I made a decision coming out of rehab and I was,
you know, twenty five years old, had no idea what
I was gonna do. I felt like my life was
over at twenty five. I was like, oh no, I've
missed the boat, like you know, it's gone. And I
came back home. I decided, you know what, I'm gonna
tell my truth. I didn't have very many fans. It
(01:16:36):
was just basically a local scene, and I was like,
I need to be honest about who I am and
what I'm going through. And at this time in two
thousand and eight, the idea of rehab, of mental health,
of actually seeking therapy like these weren't commonplace conversations that
we were having, and I wanted to tell the truth.
I wanted to be myself. I wanted to say, you
(01:16:57):
know what, I'm trying to lessen the disease of addiction,
the stigma around it. I need to tell my truth
because if I'm a secret, then I'm sick. And isn't
there something in it for you as well? When you
tell your truth as far as rehabbing yourself. Yeah, I
get to watch the therapeutic value of one addict to
another and the frequency that happens when we're honest, And
(01:17:18):
there's something that you know that changes in the room
when someone lets other people in on who they really
are and what they're going through. And then people are like, oh, wow,
they did it, They got vulnerable, they got real. I
can be myself too, and it's contagious. And when someone
says to you, you're the reason why I am sober,
I'm clean. You got me through it. I mean, that
(01:17:40):
must make you feel so amazing. It's the best. It really,
it is the best because I know those people in
my life that got me clean, or those songs that resonated,
that spoke to my spirit and made me want to
change my life. Art music especially has the power to heal,
to transform and to change. Amen. I love that. Look,
(01:18:01):
you know, and if anyone ever came to me and said,
you know what, thank you for inspiring me to do this,
you were the reason, I would alsay say, well, no,
you're actually the reason you where you are today. It
was a partnership, if you want to call it. Absolutely.
I mean, to me, the music is much bigger than you.
Try to be a conduit and get out of the
way and let the pen be guided by something else.
That's the goal. I think the honesty part is so
(01:18:24):
important because like you obviously talk about your recovery journey,
but you talk about your slips too, and a lot
of people going through recovery aren't willing to talk about that,
and they feel like a failure, like if I slipped,
I'm not going to be able to do this again.
And you are very much proof that if you do slip,
you can do it again. And you actually made a
huge difference to a very personal friend of mine, and
I love that. So starting Over one of the greatest
(01:18:46):
songs that has ever existed. Thank you so much. I
appreciate that. I love these moments we're having. If we
could just dim the lights and turn this into it,
I want to turn this into a nude encounter guard.
What is that mcamore is looking? Good? Man? This body
had two children. You don't want to turn the lights down,
take your clothes off, and then use flash flights. Anyway,
(01:19:08):
we are celebrating the fact that his album Ben is
out tonight at eleven. But we're gonna we're gonna blow
the load in a few minutes. We're gonna play some
of it for you, So hang out. So what do
you What are your two favorite Macaelmore songs? Okay, starting Over,
I just told you why. That's funny. She didn't have
to think about it, no, I know, Yeah, I'm ready
starting Over and good Old Days with Kesha. I love
that song so much, and I wish people would just
(01:19:29):
listen to the lyrics and really take that to heart,
because you know it happens. They just go right past
you and you realize you're in them. Does it piss
you off? And people say, oh, thrift shop all the way?
God man, we gotta go, we gotta go deeper. Come on,
I love thrift shop. Come on, do you perform it? Oh? Yeah, okay,
I mean I love thirst Shot too. Thirst Shot changed
my life and I always love thirst Shop. It just
(01:19:50):
became really, really, really big, and at a certain point
it was like, you know, yeah, I got more records
than this guy. And luckily, uh you know, can't hold
this came after that, so it was it was great.
I can tell you when we had Cia on one time.
One of my favorite stories about Cia. She had done
the demo for a plutanium titanium and she gave them.
(01:20:14):
It was at Ghetta. I don't know he gave. She
gave the producer here's here's the demo of me singing it.
You know, go go find you a sing or whatever,
and he used her instead. I said, well, did that
piss you off? She said, it bought me two houses.
Can I get pissed off at that? So? So thrift
shop has bought you a couple of houses. As it is,
So you were at the New York Knicks game last night.
Your feet were on the wood. Oh they were there,
(01:20:36):
Spike Lee, Tracy Morgan, right, the whole thing. Now, you
know how it is when you when you go to
the any game and your feet are on the wood
and you're you're right there on whatever they call that,
of course, of course what they call and then they
called it superstar row or one of those celebrity rows.
So you're sitting there just watching the game, mind in
your business, and then all of a sudden, there's a
camera in your face, yes, and you're you're like, oh crap,
(01:20:57):
I'm about to be up on that screen. Yeah, Like deal,
what do you think? What's it like when there's a
camera up your nose and you're just there to watch
a game? You know, the Knicks were so hospitable last
night and they were on fire last night, and they
were on fire. The whole team at the Knicks was amazing.
M Liaison, everyone killed it. But yeah, you get the
(01:21:17):
camera and you know it's coming here. It's not just
like it catches you. They're like, all right, we're gonna
set up and they're setting up an angle like that,
and you're like, oh, man, can you lower and you
raise that just one foot? I know my angle, um,
but it's fun and that's part of it. You know
that you know you're gonna get taken care of it
the game, but they're also going to show you on
that screen, all right. I was at the Saint John's
(01:21:39):
game a couple of weeks ago and I got to
sit down on the court side at the garden at
the Garden and one of the players on the other
team fell almost on my lap and the mom and
me I almost got up, was like are you okay?
Like I really wanted to check on it. It's a
lot for me to sit in my seat and not
do that because I knew exactly right. Crazy No. When
they were gearing up to live, I felt probably more
(01:22:03):
nervous than I have in the last like five years performing.
Isn't it were? Why is? I don't know, I don't know.
But all of a sudden, my feet started to move
a lot, and I'm like, why am I moving my
feet or pople seeing my feet move? Is this on
the JumboTron? Your leg was bouncing? Yes, isn't that funny? Yep?
That's the thing you know when you when you when
you create wonderful art, you do it for the art
(01:22:24):
creation sake. But part of it's having a camera up
your nose at the yea. It is anyway again turning
us on. This is mack Lamore. Ben is out tonight
his album and we are going to play a song
for you a second. Now, is it okay if we
use and abuse? So at the end of April you
can say you know if you want okay, Yes, at
(01:22:45):
the end of April, we're all flying to my Yorca, Spain.
I don't know if you've been no, well, let me
just tell you anyway special We're going to my York.
It is very special, my honeymoon there, fell in love
with Oh my god, we're gonna stay. That's a beautiful resort. Wow.
And we're gonna and listeners can actually buy trips and
join us. Wow. And part of that experience is well,
(01:23:06):
our friend Nile Horn was here yesterday and I asked
him if he would show up you fly over from
York Europe because he lives there. He said yes, he's
actually going to perform at our Mayorca trip. And he
said yes very fast. Just letting you know that quick.
It was a quick yes. QUI so so nice, Gan
Gandhi's there something you want to ask? Mack lamore? Will
(01:23:26):
you come with us too? Will you join us in
my orka? Are you serious? Please? Are you serious? But yeah,
you have to perform. Yeah, I don't think I'm just
hitting a tan out there, you guys, Okay, I know
the whole flashlight thing in the dark we're getting at. Uh. Yes, absolutely,
that would be amazing. When is it you? Obviously that
(01:23:50):
one's one sentence. Yes, absolutely, When is it period? I
heard the yes, It doesn't matter what it is. Twenty
six to the thirtieth day. As he opened twenty six,
he's open. Let's go my arcist Spain. Let each other
the Spanish. They do it right, man, everything's so beautiful
to play. Okay, did that really just happen? From now on,
(01:24:14):
everyone who walks at the door will be asked to
come into my arc exactly. If they say no, we'll
blow a bowling ball up their butts for I'm serious. Uh. Oh,
you're lucky you're not sitting in the in the cannon chair.
Here's this. This is alex Hi alex Oh my god,
oh my god, high how's everything in beautiful Lancaster, Pennsylvania,
(01:24:38):
cloudy and overcast and growth. Okay, well, there's gotta be
something good about Lancaster. We got Amish. We love the Amish.
I mean they're drive by shootings are very slow. Now, Alex,
you you saw Maclamore on tour with Imagine Dragons at Hershey?
How is that? Yes? Last summer, it was so much fun.
(01:25:00):
Your set was too short. Guys don't like you, do you?
Guys don't like it when women say that it was perfect. Okay,
So what they say in music sometimes they say, you know,
leave him wanting more. But so it's okay to lodge
your complaint. Go ahead complain. No, it was. It was
(01:25:24):
so much fun and the crowd was so pumped with
with the hit after hit after hit after hit, and
then just that great speech you gave to everybody to
the crowd and like we just wanted more. Thank you.
It was like Hershey is a special place. I don't
know if it's just my affinity for chocolate, but hers
(01:25:44):
TikTok watching you give the security guards a hard time.
Oh yeah, that was amazing. We had a good time. Well,
I'm glad that you liked it. Next time I come
back to her. She we're gonna add some minutes onto
the set. Yes, you need a single tour? Wait, what
was the of course? Does? Well it's maybe tomorrow. Well
maybe there's some news tomorrow. I don't know. Oh, I
don't know. Oh my god, management just crap and pantil today. Okay,
(01:26:11):
we're breaking all sorts of laws. Alex, wait to say.
You said he gave a great speech. What was it
about and what was it about it that moved you? Well,
it's it was a lot about love. Like this country
and this world, we just need love and to support
and give it to everybody. You never know what someone's
going through. And I mean that's what I took from it. Yeah,
(01:26:32):
that was last summer. That's a lot elvis I got.
I don't know what I said yesterday, but that was good.
That was a good recap. Take that one and that
is what it's about. So that's great. I'm glad that
you were. I'm glad that you were moved in a
certain capacity enough to call into it to Z one hundred.
That's amazing. Thank you, Alex. Oh my gosh, I'm I
(01:26:53):
love you guys. Can I just say how great her
phone connection yeah, you have a great phone. So from
a tech geeky thing. Anyway, thank you Alex told me
to do I thought my ear yea, all right, Alex,
thank you very much. Cayle, you know what it's it's
gotta it's gonna be great to get feedback, uh saying hey,
you really move me and you know, I don't know
what I said that night, but obviously you trust yourself
(01:27:15):
enough to know you said something or right. Yeah, and
really cool. Yeah, I mean you try to be in
the moment and connect with the crowd. That's that's that's
the best part of the job. So with Ben coming
out tonight, Yeah, what what journey are you on with
this with this album? If there is an answer to that.
Each album is different, Each album is different. Each album
is a chapter and era of life, and you accumulate
(01:27:38):
experiences and you put that into the art. And this
one was different because we had extra time with COVID.
I didn't want to put out anything into the world
that I wasn't able to then go and get in
front of the people tour connect and so we made
a lot of songs, a lot of songs and hopefully
COVID in the rearview mirror mostly at this point. But
(01:27:59):
what good came out of COVID in your opinion as
far as being an artist and a creator of art. Wow,
Other than time you already said that, yeah, time, I
can't use that again. I will say this. I think
that it forced us all to slow down and kind
of readjust to what really matters in life. And I
(01:28:23):
got back with my family and this is and this
does have to do with art. I got back with
my family and was you know, wow, I get to
actually be with my kids in this time period where
I would have, you know, intermittently been in and out.
I got to really know my my youngest daughter, Colette
in a different way than I would have. That all
turned into art. That connection there turned into songs, and
(01:28:46):
I think that that was a big blessing. Wow. Of
course no bad Days featuring Collette another favorite song, right, yeah, yeah,
look at that. Your video or something So Cooled is
also the name of my daughter, but it's also the
name of the singer on the song. Coincidentally, but Sloane
(01:29:07):
is directing the video. Yes, it comes out tomorrow. It's um.
I had no idea what to do with the with
the video I've always I've made songs like we're making Downtown.
We're immediately like, yo, what if we did this? Or
we're making thrift Shop and I'm thinking of spots to shoot.
I see videos right away with no Bad Days. I
was like, I just don't see a video. I kept
seeing good old Days video in my head as the
(01:29:30):
song was playing, and I'm like, I don't want to
do that again. And then finally I procrastinated a long
enough to be like, you know what, two weeks out, Sloan,
would you direct a video for me? And she cried.
I didn't know. I had no idea. She cried, and
then she was like, wait, what does a director do again?
And but we had so much fun. I mean, just
to be able to have that experience with my seven
(01:29:51):
year old super special. She killed it and it comes
out tomorrow, excited for the world to see it. So
there's moments with your family during our COVID. It's it's
great kind of hang on to that. We learned a
lot from that. You know, all the good stuff. Mac Lamore.
I cannot thank you enough for coming in and giving
into all of our wants and needs every time, every time,
whatever you guys have two dollars. Literally, the sunglasses are nice. Yeah,
(01:30:19):
I see Google, I see some goods. Two dollars and
we'll play your song. Just say want to be in quarters,
ben uh. And by the way, we were breaking the
song world promoting the song fourteen hours prematurely. Yeah, damn
and laws are being broken on your behalf because we
love you listening to us, mac lamore, thank you, and
(01:30:39):
I want to hear the entire album. We're gonna play
the whole album now, probably no, we'll just play one
and we'll see and when we hang up, we'll actually
have to talk about my yark or whether that's a
real thing or not. If it is that I'm in, Yes,
I am in you hear it, I'm in. Let's do it.
We're getting heart getting sun burns. Hear bell uh and
(01:31:01):
Ben out tonight and congratulations on on everything. And you
know what, it's just you just feel good in the room.
And thank you very much for that's a gift. All right.
We gotta play no band days. No one, no one
anywhere has ever heard this except for those who created it.
This is mac Lamar. You just keep me saying you
(01:31:23):
guys are Elvis Duran in the morning show. This is
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show. Thanks again to mac Lamar.
What a wonderful time we spent with him. He's the
best and his album Ben is out tonight and we
(01:31:45):
heard the first cut illegally. But if the rest of
the album is that great, then by all means, let's
support our friend mac Lamar. He will be with us
in Majorca as we go to Club Calibarca, the beautiful
I Bureau Star resort in my Orca, Spain. If you
want to go and join us. So far we have
well Maclamore performing, we have Nil Horn performing, and who
(01:32:06):
knows who else we're gonna trick into this. If you
want to book your own trip, do it now. Elvis
Durand's European Vacation dot Com. Let's give some sound on
here with Garrett Garret Moore going on, all right, let's
start with Kim last night yesterday being March first, he
noticed again all the news reporters were just very excited
about March first. Good morning too. It is the beginning
of March. Yes, can you believe it? Uh? No, March?
(01:32:27):
Can you believe it? No? March? I know, can you
believe it in March? Can you believe it? March? Can
you believe that March? Can you believe that March? Can
you believe it's March? Can you believe that March? Maybe?
Can you believe that m Can you believe it? I'll
said the same thing and we'll hear it again in
a month. Wiz Khalifa Snoop Dogg. Danielle was talking about this.
Don't text, don't call, no more steps the game. So
(01:32:50):
I'm distant. The bus moves, don't food. I'm rapping. If
you can not get there, they are there, we are.
Did you see this dad? His baby was crying, didn't
know what to do, tried everything, then turned on his
motorcycle to stop the crying and put the baby asleep. Wow,
(01:33:20):
door was open, no carbon monoxide or anything, so scare
the hell out of the baby. Yes, And speaking of alarms,
this guy was outside of his apartment, heard the car alarm,
started recording it and turn it into a song. How
Charlie poos of him, A very melodical Charlie. You can
(01:33:49):
find beauty and art everywhere if you just look for it,
all right, So Frog, he's going to see Blake Shelton tonight.
He was in Alabama just the other night and talking
about Luke Brian what he thinks of his music a
million time, and people are singing every word to his song,
but you know, the songs are stupid boy, all right.
(01:34:14):
And then then finally too This was trending on TikTok
all last night. So there's big drama going on between
Selena fans, Justin Bieber fans, Haley Bieber fans, Kendall Jenner fans,
and some fan put together a bunch of Selena's music
compared to Justin's music, and Selena put out lose You
to love Me. Then Justin put out too Much, and
then Selena put out feel Me. Justin put out Lonely,
(01:34:36):
and then Selena put out ghost of You. Justin put
out Ghosts. So all these songs they're talking to each other.
They talked to each other. And we had no idea
place like second so much too much always we the
(01:35:05):
Ghost of You set for the Ghost Studio, and there
you have it right in front of us. This is
why Selena deletes her Instagram And there you have it.
You're a good American. Thank you so much. Want to
show on demand miss Smart. Today's show we listen with

(01:35:49):
now at Samsung dot com. Hey you know what, I'll
ask you a question. Hey, you know what what? Every
morning when we come to our new studios in Midtown Manhattan,
I drive right past thirty Rock and the iconic Radio
City Music Hall, and right there says the Tonight show
in big neon red letters starring Jimmy Fallon. What an eagle.
(01:36:15):
This guy must have that sign on that building. Jimmy,
welcome to the show. Good morning. Oh my gosh, that's
so happened to me. Back to Morrie, Elvis, that Danielle
are you doing day? Seriously? Thanks for having me as always,
you know, that's one of those tinch me moments. By
(01:36:35):
the way, could I either come in that doorway or
exit that in the building and just giant Neon letters
Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. It's the most bizarre thing
because I've been working there since Sarah Live. I've been
in that building for twenty five years. I was in
that building the other day week because we live so
(01:36:56):
we're still closed there now. And so we went to
thirty Rock and I went into this store, the NBC store,
and I hope, oh my gosh, look at the cute
Jimmy Fallon sweatshirts and stuff, and I go, let me
buy something. And then I thought, no, I'm gonna get
me a discount next time I talk to Jimmy. Yeah, Jimmy,
it's really the least you can do. There's a couple
of sweatshirts. I like, thanks, I did you know what
(01:37:18):
which which sweatshirts? Too? One, because I really I come
up with these weird ideas and designs. So I kind
of we're getting these new same passage day one. That'll
be an edition. I'll send them over to you guys.
I like the one that says Fallon. I like that one,
okay with me, it's my favorite. She's a tall order,
you know. So we're we're on fifty fifth Street. We
(01:37:39):
have brand new studios. We're right around the corner. So
whenever you're you know, in town and need to hang out,
you know where to get if if you need to
hide from you know, those people you work with, we're
always here. Um. Yeah, or can't we come hang with
you guys? Um, let's talk about what's happening next Tuesday. Uh,
it's a new season of That's My Jam And I'm
so happy you guys brought it back back. I you
(01:38:01):
know it was. It worked. We had this weird format.
We didn't know that it's a game show, it's musical,
it's a variety, it's family. We didn't know. We're just like,
let's just try it and see. And then you know,
we followed the Voice and got great ratings and everyone's like,
let's bring it back and now you go, Okay, now
we got to do it again, and we have bigger episodes,
(01:38:22):
bigger celebs. This time. It's like giant there's more costumes, explosions. Uh,
it's a big deal. And I'm psyched that we actually
get to follow the Voice again because I was like,
who they're leading going to? Because I don't want to, Like,
I don't want to follow the night, we k news
or something. I think I think we just figured out
what our games are missing. Explosions. Yes, Jenny, bring your
(01:38:44):
explosions here, many more explosions. You know what, sweatshirts and explosions. Okay,
we have started our list. You know what. There was
a day and I don't know if you agree with
this or not. Maybe I mean a long time ago
when we were kids, when I was a kid. If
if you're in the entertainment world or business and they
asked you, well, what do you do? Are you an actor?
And you said, well, I'm a game show host? They
(01:39:04):
would go, oh wow, that's that's good. And now it's
a whole different world. I think people would rather be
a game show host. I've been doing anything else in
the stupid business of ours. It must be so much
fun for you. You well, you started with the Tonight Show.
You know, we were doing like different games. Oh maybe
I guess it started with Late Night. We were just
(01:39:26):
doing fake game shows and like fake like we're getting
people from the audience. We play a game for like
name that guy, and we show a picture of a
stranger of a stranger, and we just see if you
can guess his name. And we're just dumb, and we
just made his laugh, and so we just kept adding more.
And then Celebris come on and go can I play
that game? I go sure, And then they wanted to play,
(01:39:46):
and then you know, it grew and grew and grew,
and so now you know, people come on if we
play a game where they sing it scores on the show,
and then now and then we'll have a viral hit,
and so now more people want to do it. So
we figured one hit turned it the whole thing into
the show. So the way that's my jam works is
I think the next day after every episode, you'll be
talking about at least two of the performances like there's
(01:40:08):
so the first episode this Tuesday, Jason Derulo does a beautiful,
beautiful operatic version of the song song Oh Crazy. It's
what we It's what we've been missing, It's what you
need in this world. And it's by the way, this
guy's voice is insane. I didn't know it was this.
(01:40:28):
I mean it's seeing opera. Yeah no, we've known this
about Jason, and he smells good. Listen. Oh yeah, no,
I hate those peoples just set everything going well. But
I got an idea let's play a game. Welcome to
I'm thinking of a pasta today. Our contestants name is
(01:40:50):
James Fallon. Yes, James from New York City. Welcome to
the show. James, tell us a little about yourself. My
name is James Allen Um, forty eight years old and
I love pasta. There you go, all right, in a
world full of pasta. If you can guess within three
guesses the pasta I've written down on this sheet of paper,
you will win big. Please your first guests. I don't
(01:41:15):
know why I'm feeling decide, you know, but I'm feeling
like a like a penny and no sauces required, just
the pasta. All right, you have two more chances, two
more chances. What do you have. I'm thinking of a pasta. Well,
you're thinking of a pasta. Okay, you're thinking of a pasta.
You're thinking of a I'm so sorry. You have one
(01:41:42):
more chance of James Fallon from New York City. What
name the pasta of a pasta? And it is sometimes
it's pasta filled with stuff we don't know. No, no, no,
it has just the pasta itself. Just you're thinking of
a pasta. I'm literally a streak in the middle, go
(01:42:03):
for the bullseye and say the getting you got it.
That was just fabulous. You just heard one game. You
will not here next Tuesday night. That's my jam. You know.
One day we actually did I'm thinking of a fabric
(01:42:24):
and we How long did we go for that? Forty
five minutes? And no one thought of tafita. I don't understand.
I don't know, dude, I'm feeling this idea. This sounds
like somebody I'll do I'll do that on the Tonight Show.
Tonight you want you will not if if you're in
your right mind, you won't. Yeah, if you if you
(01:42:45):
don't lose every single viewer, don't do that. Hey, so,
how long have you been how long have you been hosting?
Uh well, starting with Late Night and now the Tonight Show?
How long have you been doing nighttime on NBC other
than Saturday Night Live? Fifteen years now? Almost? Wow. So,
because I was thinking about this this morning when I
was driving by the starring Jimmy Fallon sign on Dirty Rock,
(01:43:09):
I'm like, oh my gosh, I mean, how many more
years will that sign be on that building? Have you
ever thought about that? Fun? How sad? No? No, no, No,
it could be very it could be a hundred years. No,
I'm very good. Uh yeah, I mean I'm still interested
in the show. I love it, I love people, i
love pop culture. I love my job. I'm very lucky
(01:43:30):
to do it. And U as long as the audience
is watching and wants me to do it, I think
I'll stick around for as long as I can. Yes.
And by the way, I would like you to bring
back phone booth on the tonight show. I know a
pre covid it hard, but I love that one where
you shove everybody in the phone booth and they're on
top of each other. Big bird in the phone booth.
It was fabulous we had I remember once he had
(01:43:51):
like there's a big bird Alex Trebec a wrestler. Yeah,
it was like it was maybe one the Blue Man
group was in there and more explosions. Please all right,
it is definitely that's my jam. Uh ten o'clock East
Coast and uh it's gonna be thirt next Tuesday on
of course NBC right down the street to watch the
(01:44:13):
next day on Peacock if you don't have NBC. But
I appreciate you guys having me on all the time,
nothing but love for me, and welcome to Midtown. And
I'm going to send over those explosions. There you six
blocks away, we're your neighbor. Forget the sweati no, no,
no no. If they get nervous with explosions in New
York City. Thank you, Jimmy, you have a beautiful day.
(01:44:34):
We'll see you to night. Okay, the best guy, thank you.
There you go. Next time he comes in. We should
just have a straight day of games. Yeah, games in here.
I would love you gonna do another round? All right.
I'm thinking of a fabric. To be fair, I have
(01:44:56):
to write it down. Okay, okay, okay, all right, gandhi,
I'm thinking of a fabric. I'm gonna go off the
beaten path and go with felt. No, that is not it.
That is not it. Sorry, Danielle, I'm thinking of a fabric.
I'm gonna go. Since we're getting into the warmer monthsoon,
(01:45:18):
Linnen Lenin, what a beautiful fabric, it breathes. Yeah, it's
not correct, damn scary. I'm thinking of a fabric. Burlap, burlap.
Oh no, I'm sorry, that is not correct. Uh straight eight.
I'm thinking of a fabric. Oh, it's comfortable this time.
(01:45:40):
Your wool wool at all comfortable. Scotty B. I'm thinking
of a fabric satin. Satin is not correct, Um Diamond,
I'm thinking of a fabric. Um uh cornu Roy corn
Roy is absolutely correct. Yeah, very good. You can kind
(01:46:05):
of read it. You can see the sea. Oh yeah yeah,
corner Roy. What do you have for our winter, Diamond?
Absolutely nothing? Yeah, can be talking about what the fight
going on in the background. So you know Andrew, our
ops manager. Everyone seems to be fighting with Andrew like
healthy fun, very very pulling the pigtails fighting. So Andrew
(01:46:31):
walks in with one shoe on, one shoe off, where's
your other shoe? Diamond ran up to him and just
stole his shoe and ran down the hall and hit it.
You haven't told him where his shoe is yet. Well,
he knows now because he guilt tripped me into saying
that he had to go to the bathroom and he
can't go to the bathroom without a shoe because it's
disgusting it is, so you know, I gave him a shoe.
But I'm thinking, why is anyone picking on each other?
(01:46:52):
Is it a form of love? Are you just really
trying to drive someone crazy. It's definitely a form of love.
But also don't let Andrew fool you. He starts stuff,
he threatens people and then acts all innocent and only
highlights it when he gets attacked back. He did ask
for a hug before he said I really need a huga. Okay,
don't trust him. He's trying to report me for bullying
(01:47:14):
to Nate, and he uses the word stupid and idiot
a lot. I'll go, hey, Andrew, I can't find my glasses.
They're on your desk. Idiot. I'm like, what's going on?
He talks like that to me. We're watching his origin story.
This is how he becomes a villain. He's getting picked on,
he's starting that morph. Things are happening here. If you Andrew, Yeah,
(01:47:38):
he did did the fist up the butt thing. He
was threatening me yesterday with Danielle. We can't talk about why,
but he was threatening me. She saw him anyway. Well,
I was saying this, this neighborhood is dangerous. People were
stealing their shoes off our feet. Yeah anyway, uh So
I'll keep an eye on that for you. You know, tomorrow,
I really want to We're going to see more of
the Murdoch trial today, right, they're still deliberating. I know
(01:48:00):
they didn't closing the arguments today. The defense is going
to do their closing argument, and I don't know. People
are kind of torn on whether or not Alec Murdoch, well,
Alec Murdoch, which his name is ala Alex Murder, Alex
Murdoch go to jail just for the way he pronounces
it versus how he spelled. He puts a K on
Alex and puts a K on Murdoch. Yeah, so now
(01:48:23):
he's Alec Murdock, but he spells at Alex Murdock exactly.
How dare he GONDI Daniel? I know, but people are torn,
like I don't know if they can prove it beyond
the benefit of the doubt. I don't know. I think
he did it reasonable reasonable doubts ate, what do you
think you think he did it? I see, my only
(01:48:46):
basis for the knowledge of this is the documentary, which
was heavily skewed against him. Yes, so I didn't see
really any evidence supporting his innocence. So yeah, I'm basically
it off that documentary he guilty. If you haven't seen
the document in her own Netflix. It's only three episodes long,
and I tell you, it's fascinating to see a family
(01:49:07):
that exists like this. And I want to get into
this tomorrow because there are people living in this world
who don't think any of those shenanigans are wrong. They
live lives of stealing from people, ripping people off. How
do you live with your Well, I don't know, that's
my question. But if you're born into a family of
that that you don't know any difference, well, I think
that's right. If this is what you're you're learned? Is
(01:49:30):
that the right way? You're talking around and like a
learned behavior? Though? Right? Right? Right? So you you know
this is what you grow up thinking, Hey, what the hell?
I can just screw everybody over, who cares. I know
a guy, I'm not friends with him, but I'm good
friends with friends of him. He has lived an entire
life of just deceit and just stealing from people, stealing
(01:49:51):
from companies, stealing from the irs, I mean, just not
paying what he owes. And his father was the same way,
and his grandfather was the same way. So now they
have an entire family of that they don't know any difference.
Is that what the Murdoll story is they don't know
any different somewhere like great Granddad Murdoll went south and
screwed everyone over. Anyway, then the Netflix documentary is amazing.
(01:50:12):
Of course, turn on News Today and you'll be watching
as they continue to do their closing arguments on the trial.
