Speaker 1 (00:00):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show about to talk to
Megda Stallion, her new album out today. She's a whole
all right, We're gonna sit here and talk all day
if you want, no, Okay, live from the Mercedes Benz
Interview Lounge. I'd rather talk to Megda Stallion than you.
Me too, Me too. Good morning. Now she knows we're
(00:24):
talking about here, Megan the Stallion. Of course, he's my
friends in island. Call you Meg Da Stallion. Hey, thanks
for being on with us today. Welcome to Friday, Welcome
to a big day, a new album and everything. We're
so happy for you. All right, thank you for having me. Now, Traumazine,
let's get it out of the way. I love your
definition of traumazine. Do you want to share it with everyone?
(00:46):
The name of the album is Traumazine. Okay, Yes, the
name of the album is Traumasine. And I feel like
I had to come up with a whole new name
for a whole new experience. So basically, it's like what
happens to see your brain when you finally decide to
face yourself and your trauma. Wow, it's like thorazine, but
trauma Zine. I love it. I get it. So with
(01:08):
this album, I feel like I wrote it more like
a bunch of like diary injuries more so than I
wrote them like intended to be a lot of songs.
So does it tell a story from like start to finish?
I feel like it starts like, Okay, I'm talking, you know,
my normal, my normal hot stuf um, and then it's
like getting into some serious things and it's like, Okay,
we went through that, Okay, now let's party like that. Yeah, Hey,
(01:32):
what is You had a post back in July of
you with your heels in the air. It looks like
you're pouring gasoline on yourself and it says hate and
you said, I love that. What is that? I've been
trying to strike that pose all morning. I know I
always had it, and soone snatched my wig? But oh
(01:53):
my god, is that is that? Is that part of
the album? Is that part of this project? Like it's
just me embracing my haters and it's like, yeah, okay,
I see everybody talking about me. I see y'all all
y'all opinions. I love it, Like, let me pour it
all over myself to show you how much I love it.
I'm a hot girl, I can handle it. So are
you of the belief that if these haters were face
(02:15):
to face with you they would be nice? Actually? And
they just kind of hide behind their their posts. Yeah,
Like I feel like, um, people say crazy things on
the internet because like they can like you will never
see them in real life. You will never know who's
saying that, And then you meet them in real life
and it's like, oh, you know what, I'm wrong. I
was probably having a bad day. That's why I said
something crazy to make the same. But now that I
(02:36):
met out, I like her as you school, so hopefully
they turn around and say good things. Now. Wow, I
canna be honest. I'm impressed you let them off the
hook way too easily. Yeah, but I'm so so being
a host on Jimmy Fallon's tonight's show like you did
last night. I mean, do you ever just wake up
and go, where the hell have I? Is this really
my life? Because that's that's a big deal. It is
(02:58):
a big deal. And I feel like grown up like
watching shows like this and you like fantasize about doing
things like this and you actually get grown and you're like, wow,
I said I was gonna do this and I can't
believe I'm actually doing it, Like I'm actually cool with Jimmy.
What's happening? How sweet is Jimmy Fallon when he comes
to visit us? We love him, but he's just the
nicest person. He is the nicest person I've ever met,
Like one of the nice people I've ever met in
(03:20):
the industry. I'm like, wow, this is really my friend.
Each other Christmas present, Yeah, he loves to give Christmas
present And of course when you were hosting last son,
I'm sure he gave you a huge gift. They always
give gifts to their guests, like the Jimmy Fallon blanket.
(03:41):
It's ninety five degrees. I'm sorry we did a Jimmy
Fallon blanket. So I think one of the highlights of
being famous would be knowing that the rock said if
he could be anybody's pet, he would be your pet.
Was that a moment? Non't so random? I'm just really
cry laughing. I couldn't believe you said that. Well, I
mean you you already have six dogs. You want a seven?
(04:04):
I'm thinking about getting the cow. Actually, go on, yes,
I want a cow. Do you just feel the need
to milk those teeths. No. I was like, and I
don't even drink milk. I hate milk. Cows are cool.
I mean they're not dogs, but they're slow, they're deliverate,
(04:25):
those big eyeballs. No, have you not seen these videos
of like cows acting like big dogs. Yes, And they snuggle.
They like to snuggle. See if I'm gonna get away.
They like to snuggle. They like to play with like toys.
I'm like, oh my god, I need a cow. Can't
You can't put one in the bed? I mean they're huge. Yeah,
But like I want to get a cow and I
want to name it Sweet Steve, and I just want
(04:48):
to I just want the cow to love me and
my animal. It's like, I think I'm want to get
a farm next. I think that's exactly what you need
in your life. I need a real rand. You have
nothing else going on, you might as well have a farm.
You know, the Hoi range is gonna be a real thing.
There you go, that's a different that's a different kind
of rang. Now you know. Here we are. We begged
(05:09):
the Stallion on the phone and we're talking about cattle.
But look, congratulations on the new album. Trauma Zine is
out today. Some excellent artists on this album with her,
so we're gonna leave it up to you to go
dig it up and listen to the whole thing. Megan
the Stallion, it's always great to talk to you. We
wish nothing but great things for you. Thank you, and
hopefully next time you'll talk to me. I have sweet
see I know. Quit hold on where it's a cowbell,
(05:31):
Hold on a cowbell for you. All right, man, have
a great day, have a beautiful album release day. Okay,
y'all to y'all, by love you to by
