Speaker 1 (00:08):
Sit and see what's so? Maybe we at the Twin Lights,

(00:30):
Who's runs rided? And espie o the sweet were some

(00:53):
stream that woll that is exactly well we needed to hear.

(02:00):
Thank you, Thank you Homograham of Whitney, Houston fabulous. Welcome
to another day. We're bum bike crikey. We figured out
how to turn our microphones on. It is Monday, I
don't know. I think it's Monday or is it still Sunday?
What day is Monday? We're getting we're slowly getting it

(02:21):
together our microphones. We sound a little muffled today, but
we're gonna make it happen. Thank you to Whitney, and
thank you to the star Spangled banner. I think we're
moving into let's be a cool country mode. Do you
guys agree? Are you into it? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, all right,
let's get to show started. Scary you give me some
one mit j You look there it is the music
we've started our show too for the past twenty six years.
Isn't it weird? The same song? This is a different

(02:45):
version of than the original one, right, yes we have Yeah,
we should listen to that. We should listen to that
old one later. Oh anyway, let's get going with the show. Danielle,
good morning, Welcome back from the weekend. How are you doing?
I am actually doing okay. Um. I found the new
show on Netflix that I'm obsessed with and I think
you and Alice like it. It's called Tiger King. Oh

(03:08):
my gosh, it's so good if nobody knows what it is.
It's about this guy who he's obsessed with tigers and
he basically raises them from when they're little. But there's
obviously all this controversy because he puts tigers in captivity
and then apparently he puts a hit out on somebody,
and we don't give it all away. Stop it, stop it.
It's I know you're excited about it. Here's the thing.

(03:29):
Even though the show is about tiger, the show's about tiger.
It really the monsters and the beasts in the show aren't.
Aren't the tag the tigers, the cats, It's the people.
They're just whacked. So anyway, okay, they got lots of mullets. GONDI.
Let's see if we can hear you today. How are
you hi? Can you hear me? Yes? How about your weekend?
How are you doing today? My weekend was great. And

(03:50):
I'm doing really well. And that was almost exactly what
I was going to do for my around the room.
I can't stop with Tiger King. I know. I was
texting you about it like a crazy person. My boyfriend
and I were really into it. I got through the
whole thing and the best part. I don't want to ruin.
I won't ruin anything but this guy's music videos. His
music videos with the mullet Oh my god, they're amazing.
They're incredible. He is a solid musician. We may have

(04:13):
Mullet Man performing at at a jingle ball this year,
if we have one. We should. Yeah, by the way,
it yes, I think Tiger King is our new favorite
because if you think that your family and you are
a little off, well, you'll feel normal watching these people
seriously froggy and beautiful Jacksonville in his guest bedroom. How

(04:33):
you doing, Frog, I'm doing really well. You know one
thing I've learned through all this is there are a
lot of artists that I didn't even know we had
around this world. Because every single child in my neighborhood
and all the people are using sidewalk chalk. Yesterday I
went around the neighborhood and so many people just drawing
beautiful things on the sidewalk because everybody's outside playing. You
just got to go outside. You have to stay you

(04:55):
in your house or go in your driveway. And people
are doing it. It's so beautiful to walk around the neighborhood.
I pull some pictures on my Instagram, but kids drawing
on the sidewalks like go away coronavirus, or do we
stay strong? Or just drawing pictures of hearts and everything else.
It's such a such a super cool thing to see.
It's kind of funny because you have to watch your step.
I bet you're like, oh, don't step on that. That's hard.

(05:15):
I don't want to step. Somebody drew balloons and everybody
was laying down on the sidewalk like the balloons are
holding them in the air. It was such a such
a cool thing. It's like stepping on the Mona. Lisa, Hey,
watch your step man. What's up? Well? Anyway, Scary's and
Master Control and we have straight Nate on the phones
at eight hundred two four two zero one hundred. Scottie B,
who is quarantined, is back in our Master Control facilities

(05:38):
as well. I'm feeling pretty good. I'm feeling pretty good.
Garrett is checking in, and a producer, Sam is checking in.
We've got lots going on here. I guess we should
get into horoscopes. Do we have horoscopes? Or do you
want to talk to Shelley online? Four? Let's talk to Shelley,
our first caller of the day online. Four. Hey Shelley,
good morning. How'd you do over the weekend? You're good? Hello? Shell? Yeah, Shelley,

(06:01):
how'd you do over the weekend? How are you doing today?
You're good? All right? She can't hear us? Put her
on hole. Let's move on to horoscopes. This is what
it's going to be like today. Horoscopes. We have those, right, yeah?
Hold one, Okay. It is Carrie Russell's birthday today. It
is Perez Hilton and Ben Higgins's birthday today. It's happy birthday, Todam, Capricorn.

(06:24):
Work can feel like a drag now more than ever.
Don't give into distractions. Focus on the task at hand.
Your day isn't eight Aquarius. Love and affection are surrounding
you today, so let friends and families shower you with attention.
Your day is at ten. Hey, Pisces, you may want
to impress a certain someone by wearing a new dress
or a haircut, But don't forget it's what's on the

(06:45):
inside that matters. Your day is a nine Aries. Your
insecurities maybe trying to come out. Do not let them.
You need to take pride in your flaws and be
the best you can be. Your day is an eight
all right, Taurus. Your finances maybe on the come up,
but make smart and effective decision to keep the good
energy coming your way. Your day is a seven Gemini.
Your future is showing great opportunities on the horizon, so

(07:07):
keep an ear open and be prepared. Your day is
a ten Cancer. Focus your energy towards creativity today. Start
a new project that'll keep you motivated. Your day is
a nine Leo. You may be hearing from someone who
hasn't been around in a while. Open your arms and
accept the new communication. Your day is a seven. I
know that can't open my arms. You don't touch me, Burgo,

(07:29):
You're going to come into some great fortune today. The
news will definitely perk up your mood for the day.
Your days an eight Libra. Love and lust are at
an all time high. Hone in on these special relationships.
I know. Your day is a ten. All right, Scorpio,
a new partnership may be blooming. Don't shy away from
a great opportunity. Your date is a nine. And finally, Sagittarius,

(07:49):
don't forget to pamper yourself. Putting yourself first isn't always selfish,
Sometimes it's necessary. Your day is an eight, and those
are your Monday morning horoscopes. Hey, let's try to talk
to Shelley again online? Four scary? Scary? Can we find four? Yeah,
let's see if we I could hear her, but she
couldn't hear us. Can you hear us? Shelley, Shelley? All right?

(08:13):
Never mind, Shelley, never mind. Well, you know what, We're
gonna get head fixed. It's just one of those things,
you know what this is. This is a whole new
way of us doing the show, and I'm surprised it's
working this well. So I'm happy if we can get
half of it. If we get half of this crap
on the radio, I think we've done a great job.
All Right, let's get into the three things we need
to know from Gandhi, Gandhi, what's going on? Hi? All right?

(08:35):
The number of COVID nineteen infections continue to rise. But
that's also largely in Part two, more testing being available.
So even though the numbers seem a little scary, it's
actually good news that we're getting this information. There are
currently worldwide more than three hundred and thirty five thousand
cases confirmed, China with over eighty one thousand, Italy around
sixty thousand, and the US in third with thirty three thousand.

(08:57):
President Trump allowing the federal government to pay for the
National Guard in New York, in California, and in Washington State.
And if you're waiting on those stimulus checks we were
all talking about last week, you're gonna be waiting a
little bit longer. That trillion dollar bill did not get
enough votes yesterday to clear a procedural block. The measure
would provide checks of twelve hundred dollars to many individuals,
more for kids for kids in the family, and some

(09:20):
members of Congress are saying that they're worried about the wording.
Of course, there's a lot of back and forth going
on about this. And finally, I don't know how many
people partied at Club Quarantine this weekend. We were all
talking about it all the rate. Everyone's talking about DJ
D Nice in Club Quarantine exactly. We saw some of
our favorite celebrities getting down over the weekend because people

(09:40):
still want a party. So if you want to do that,
you can join the likes of like Michelle Obama, Naomi Campbell,
Hollie Barry, Rhianna, Diddy, Jimmie Fox. We saw our bosses
in there. What you do is you go to DJ
d Nice's page, just click the Instagram live and he's
DJing for like nine hours at a time. He's just
trying to keep everybody entertained. Give me something to dance too,
and you can dance with your favorite celebrities. So if
you're club, Quarantine is where it's that and those are

(10:02):
your three things there you go all right, Look, we've
got lots to do. We've got a busy Monday. We've
got guests galore, which is like, isn't that fun? Guests galore. Also,
everyone at iHeart Corporate is mad at me because I
have cocktails every day at five on you know, on
FaceTime with friends and then I call them with new
ideas for the radio station. So our CEO, Bob Pittman

(10:26):
is going to be on today to either say yes
to some of my drunk ideas or to tell me
to stop calling. I'm not even texting. I'm calling them.
You know what I'm saying. Oh my gosh, I know. Uh.
And in a serious note, Look, we're gonna have fun
today and we're gonna find the humorous side of everything
that everyone's going through. But I will, I gotta let
you know, and I want everyone to be tough, and
I want everyone to take a deep breath. We're going

(10:47):
into what could be a really bad week this week,
so we've got to maintain our integrity, maintain our guts
and our strength and our love for each other and
we can get through this. So are you guys ready
for a crazy week? Yes? Yeah, all right, come on,
let's have a crazy week. Let's go. Let's Hey, this

(11:07):
is justin timber Lake. Hey there, it's phoebe X and
you're listening to Elvis Durand. Elvis Durant in the Morning
Show show sponsored by State Farm. Talk to an agent
today about combining your home and auto insurance at one
eight hundred State Farm or by visiting state Farm dot com.
Elvis Durand in the Morning Show, Imber Immember. Elvis duran

(13:08):
in the Morning Show. Oh here we go another week
in quarantine. Hey, you know what, Alex finally came out
to the farm and so I've been making some kick
ass dinners and lunches and stuff. It's been good. You know,
I realized I was I wasn't here for a week
by myself, just me and the dog. That was it.
You still like yourself, work like yourself. I love myself. No,

(13:31):
I'm doing okay. But you know, it's kind of funny
if you're if you're quarantining like you're supposed to be doing.
Gandhi brings up a good point. When you're in quarantine,
you realize there's stuff that you need that you don't have, Like,
what were you missing? Gandhi? So all of Friday's broadcast
I did sitting on a step stool, which was killing
my back because I realized I don't have chairs in
my apartment. What do I need to dare for? Well,

(13:54):
I have like barstools for the counter, but I don't
have a dining table. I mean, I live in a
one bedroom apartment. So I to go get a chair
and walk down the street like an idiot with everyone
on lockdown with a chair. We did like work from home.
It's work from home scenario. Did you guys, what'd you do? Daniell?

(14:16):
I walked around to every room in the house and
saw how I could better it. I'm like, writing things down,
go through this cabinet, throw away things from this floor.
Yeah I am. I am finding out from my friends
that some people are now living cleaner than they used
to and now and some of them are living like slobs.
So I'm I've never been this clean in my life.
As soon as I see like one little speck of

(14:37):
dust fall on something, I totally totally just like alcohol
the whole area. Yeah, but I'm mad at those people.
I'm mad at those boy because my sister in law
she sends me pictures of her vacuuming out the refrigerator
and I'm like, listen, this is a little much. Let's
come our jets. Okay. Let me ask you a question.

(14:59):
How dirty and filthy are you to have to vacuum
chunks of things out of your refrigerator? Yeah, that's kind
of weird. She is so old, my sister in law.
But it looks beautiful. But I'm like, dude, I am
not doing that. I Am sorry, it is not happening. Yeah,
you don't need dust bunnies in your vegetable drawer. That's
just kind of strange. Hey, but I will tell you.

(15:20):
And this is something and I'm kicking myself because of it.
Alex Hips saying, you need to go get a hair cut,
and this is like two weeks ago. Your hair looks awful,
you need to get a haircut, and I kept putting
it off and putting it off, and then of course
they pull the plug on all people, you know, all
salons here, and now I'm almost ready for a man bun.
It's it's so bad. Yea. This is my favorite thing

(15:43):
because my boyfriend is in the same situation. His hair's
kind of long, and he's like, I can't go get
my hair cut right now. I don' won't know what
to do. And I'm like, yes, Samurai ponytail, I can't wait. Yeah,
I don't know what I'm gonna do about this hair.
So Alex and I today we have a date after
the show to go on to to um the internet
and find a tutorial on cutting your own hair. Oh god,

(16:06):
possibly go wrong. Yeah, what happened to Flobe? No, I
don't I didn't order a Floby. I'm not going to
use a floby. I'm not gonna do it. I think
Big has one at all me. You can give it
to you. I don't need to borrow at someone else's floby.
This is not the time to be cross pollinating with
your flobye hair on my hair. It's just so crazy,

(16:28):
all right. So we've got the phone issue we're dealing with.
We're gonna try to get that fixed so we can
actually talk to you when you call in. People are
texting though at fifty five one hundred. You know what,
I'm seeing a lot of a lot of people are
saying that they are now still waking up in the morning,
but they're getting up later. So I was actually asked
by Mark Medina, the Z one hundred program director in

(16:49):
New York, do you want to do a later morning
show like you start at seven or eight? I went, no, No,
that's a bad idea. I mean your first is like,
let's do it, yes, we sleep in. No, we can't
do that. What's that scary? And doing it later scary?
Dam it's scary. No, here's the thing, because other shows,

(17:13):
here's my here's my thing. Other shows will be starting
at the regular time, and so people will turn them
on to get live content and then they'll stay with
them and they won't come to us at nine o'clock
when we come on, right, that's yeah. I agree with Elvin,
another friend of mine who is totally quarantined and has
no work to go to. He says, every day is
like a Sunday, but there's no brunch, there's no there's

(17:33):
no I'm like, well, okay, I got you all right. So,
according to Diamond, today is National Puppy Day, and do
you want to talk about what you're doing? Gandhi? Oh okay, yes.
So I over the weekend got you know, a little bored,
and I started looking at dogs that were adoptable, and

(17:55):
I found three that I'm super interested in. So I
applied for all three of them. I got a call
back about one yesterday. And let me tell you, they're
putting me through the ringer with the questions and are
sure that you're a responsible parent. I'm like, parent, no
dog parent, Yes, I can do that. So I'm waiting
to see which one or ones I can get. They're
all over the place, though, somewhere in Connecticut right now.

(18:17):
There's another one in Pennsylvania. So they have to wait
for these dogs and their people to figure out if
if in one I can have them. But I am
really feeling Astro and Gizmo. They send me pictures of them,
like sleeping and the one sleeps and smiles. Gizmos adorable,
They're so cute. I can't wait. I really hope it happens.
So wait, they already have names. Yes, I mean they're
adult dogs, so one of them? Would you do? They

(18:39):
know their names, so you would keep you would keep
calling them like an Astro whatever? What would you call
them Astro and Gizmo? It would depend on how well
they respond to their names. So Gizmos like four years old,
I'd feel bad changing the name after you've been responding
to that for four years. Astro TBD. We'll see. And
Astro has one of those wicked little underbites where he
just looks like he's mad. All that's I love it. Okay, good?

(19:02):
So so Gandhi's on her way, and I'm glad they're
asking you questions because I don't want them just giving
people dogs because they're bored at home by themselves. That
doesn't mean you're you're qualified to have a dog in
the house, right. Oh no, I was on the phone
for like thirty five minutes with this woman while she
was asking me all kinds of stuff about my living
situation and lifestyle. I'm like, wow, okay, you know, I'm

(19:22):
hearing on text messages from a lot of people who
work in sanitation and also at the dump where people are,
you know, taking the trucks are taking all of the
loads and stuff. They're saying that people are cleaning out
their houses more than ever right now. They're finding huge
piles every time they go by because people are home.
They're like, let's clean this mess up. So I guess

(19:43):
that's good and bad, uh, you know, depending on people
who have to pick your stuff up. But I love that.
I love that people are cleaning up. So, you know,
while we're going through all this, I keep making mental notes.
I should start writing them down, like what in our
lives will be totally changed after all this is said
and done. And I really think so far, I have
thought people are going to be more frugal, people are

(20:05):
going to be careful how they spend their money. People
are going to be cleaner. Yep. I don't know if
people are gonna kiss ever again that it's really funny,
do you guys ever? Watch Rick Steves, the guy that
has the travel shows. He goes to Europe in Italy.
He's a guy. You've seen his traffic girls on phobs. Anyway,

(20:25):
they were playing an old Rick Steves Tuscany Italy show
the other day and it was showing scenes of people
in Multipleciano and Tuscany, like they're all gathering together in
the piazza and this little town and I'm like, oh
my god, they're really close to each other. And of
course this was done a year ago or more. And
then a mother took her gelato on a cone and

(20:47):
she licked it, and then she handed it to her
child to lick. And I'm like, don't lick after each other?
What a thought? That that was life a month ago?
You know, we were licking each other. I put my
pork chop in my son's plate the other night and

(21:07):
he like almost had a heart attack. I'm like, I'm like,
really he's like that, mom. I'm like, sorry, all right,
a show of hands. Who's missing licking other people? Anyone? Anyone? Maybe?
I really am? I miss it so much? All right? Uh,
let's see texts. Uh, don't start your show later, we

(21:28):
need your earlier Okay, We're not going to do that.
That was just that was bad idea central No big deal, uh, Nate,
Nate straight. Nate is in the building. But he's in
a building. He's in a room with no microphone, and
I kind of miss him like checking in. I wish
we could run a microphone out there, Nate, if we
could do that. So are you guys actually not touching
each other? Are you how how much distance are you

(21:49):
keeping from each other? At the control room, we got
a good twelve feet between us a wall and wall,
and there's a wall. Let's not forget that. Yeah, I
think a wall is the key part there. What's that? Daniel?
Did you see the lines at Trader Joe's this weekend?
So they had like chalk drawn and then they had
like keep your distance and it was actually six feet

(22:11):
between the people to get in, and they were only
letting a certain amount of people in at a time,
and you had to keep your distance at that chalk line.
It was so crazy to see if but this is
a new norm. It's so crazy. Yeah, I know it is.
There's nothing you know. I thought we were abnormal. Then again,
this is our new abnormal. It really is. What about
your frog, what are you seeing? There was a school

(22:33):
here in Jacksonville that was handing out laptops for students
to start being schooled from home. And they had drawn
like hopscotch squares on the ground and each one was
a square where the next person had a stand and
they were ten feet apart. They did not want people
any close closer together. They wanted to make sure you
were social distancing, but at the same time trying to
hand off these laptops so kids can start doing their
virtual learning. Yeah, yeah, yeah, keep your distance. It's so

(22:56):
weird that some people are not doing it, and they'll
be like creeping up behind You're like, what are you doing?
What do you you know? Um? You know what? Speaking
of sex, I was talking earlier about the need to
lick at other people. Did you see that that announcements
at the City of New York released? Oh my god?
I was like, does it really say what I think

(23:18):
it's saying? It was sex practices that are and are
not safe? I think didn't they take it down after
a while, but it was too late because everyone saw
it already. I don't know who her husband put it
up with an arrow, which what did he put what
did he put an arrow on the the the R
word R? I am, can I say the word? Oh? Yeah?

(23:39):
If they don't want any they don't want anyone, like yeah,
they don't want anyone, like like licking the caboose. You
know what I'm saying, Yeah, exactly on the Alex. Alex
put it up on his Instagram with an arrow pointing
to it. Don't do that yellow highlighter with arrows pointing

(24:05):
in every direction toward it. This this paragraph right here, Everybody,
I'm like, I'm sorry, I would I never do that anyway.
I'm I mean, that is like pire damage will occur.
I'm not going to back up over that. Oh my god,
I was laughing so hard. I'm like, well, there goes
some people's weekends. Goodbye, scary. Don't we need a break

(24:27):
time here? It's about that time. It's been about that
time for a few minutes. But no, I know. But
usually hold on, here's my point straight. Nate is usually
jumping up and down like an orangutan telling me to
take a break, and he hasn't done anything right now,
he's there, he is, Oh there, he just said take
a break. Oh thanks, Speaking of orangutan. If even though

(24:48):
there's not one on the show yet. If you are,
if you're watching Tiger King on Netflix, I'd like to
talk to you. It's not but at the very least
text me and let me know what you think about it.
Fifty five one hundred and Danielle, you already gave away
too much this morning. People start yelling at me. I'm like, relieve.
People don't know that, daniel Danielle, they don't. This is

(25:10):
buff show. By the way, what do you mean because
Ozark starts on Friday, So this is the show to
get me through the Ozark. Oh my god, that's right,
Ozark on Friday. All right, Yeah, we're gonna take a
break because straight and Ate, our senior executive producer, is
telling us to take a break. We'll be back right
after this. Misterial Vistian in the morning show, are you

(25:35):
protecting yourself? I know that you're you're covering yourself when
you sneeze and you're staying away from people, But what
about your computer? Do you have a Norton three sixty
with LifeLock? You know, Danielle and I have this. It's
pretty amazing. I got some more, I got some more
notices yesterday you know what did you? Did you write
this check? Did you? Did you use this credit card? Here?

(25:56):
Thank god they're keeping an eye out for us, because
right now, especially when you ordering so much stuff online,
you want someone to keep an eye on what's going
on because someone else could have your information. You know
what I'm saying. Oh yeah, anyone you want to give
a protecting you. By the way, if you can tell
I couldn't find my coffee. I've been making this up
since I started. All right, be warned. You could be

(26:20):
inundated with fake products, phony stock deals, fabricated emails, texts,
and social media post designed to play off fears of
the coronavirus and steal your money in personal information. Scammers
could ask for donations for victims that don't exist. They
have put out all sorts of alert saying don't believe
anything you see online. Look, no one can prevent all
cybercrime and identity theft or monitor all of our transactions,

(26:42):
but Norton three sixty with LifeLock. You need it now
more than ever. It's a powerful ally for your cyber safety.
You can save up to twenty five percent off your
first year. Go to Norton dot com slash Elvis. Seriously,
this thing is great. It's keeping an eye on you.
Go to Norton dot com, slash Elvis text us at

(27:02):
standard data and messaging breaks apply means always strand in
the Morning Show. Isn't it funny how the heroes always
rise to the top. There's so many people we should
be saying thank you too. And as soon as I
read the list, you know I'm gonna be leaving off
way too many because there's I mean so many people
who are working overtime and around the clock, some of
them wondering if they're gonna get paid or not still

(27:25):
doing it because they know that we need them. Thank
you to everyone who's working overtime and in full full
throttle and full working full throttle and like pedal to
the metal, whatever term you want to use, health professionals,
first responders and truckers and pharmacies and grocery stores and
liquor stores and teachers and counselors and psychiatrists and therapists

(27:47):
and doctors and lawyers and tigers and bears and anyway,
thank you so much. Danielle. You have a report, your
first report of the week on the way. What do
you have coming up? Celebrities are still doing their part
to like keep us, keep us going. They really are.
They're like doing a lot of cool things, you know.
I want to put the call out. As a matter
of fact, I would love to hear from some of

(28:09):
our favorite artists. I mean, a lot of them are
doing concerts from their living rooms and stuff like that.
I would love for them to come on in and
I'm like say, hey, hey, it's Charlie Poth. I'm gonna
be doing a show tonight at eight. I want everyone
to watch. Let me you're working on that? Would that'd
be nice, wouldn't it? Yeah, Yeah, that'd be a great idea.
Let's see, let's see what today is. Let's go to
line twenty three with Diamond. I know today's National Puppy Day.

(28:32):
Hey Diamond, how are you doing in the quarantine? How
you doing? Can you can you hear me? Diamond? All right?
Put her on hold? Not fixed? All right? Next, I'm
moving on. Thank you to everyone working in the energy
sector who are keeping our lights on. Love you all

(28:52):
utility workers keeping our lights and our keeping my Instagram
on and my porn hub all good. Thank you. You're poor.
Can we just say anybody who is working right now
to keep it going. Anybody, whoever you are, thank you
so much, because of course we're going to forget people.
And anytime that I post something that says like oh,
thank you medical professionals, we get flooded with don't forget

(29:14):
blah blah blah. Not forgetting everyone, thank everybody. I will
tell you there are also people like ours Scotty B.
And I want to point this out. He's working not
only because he knows we need him, but he needs
to work. There are so many people that need to work.
Are they gonna go nuts? And Scotty B is one
of those. He was actually, through a miscommunication, was quarantined

(29:35):
from coming in and producing our show. And we fought
it and we were like, no, I don't think this
really applies to Scotty. Here's what happened in the building
and whatever, and through a lot of people working overtime.
Thank you to Tom Pullman and to THEA Mitcham and
to everyone and Josh Hadden thanks for getting him back
in the building, because I know if Scotty didn't work,

(29:55):
he would go he would go nuts. I mean he's
already nuts. I mean, come on, I mean, who's gonna
be guarding the cereal. Do you all agree he's the
most nuts on the show in a way? Oh yeah,
Oh absolutely, Scotty. No matter what kind of crazy thing
you say, Scotti will raise his hand and he says
something crazier and it's always true. Scotty has just had

(30:17):
the strangest life experiences. Well, he's back at work because
he needs to work. And thank you to the daycare providers.
Thank you to everyone keeping the trains and the cars moving.
And there you have it. Let's get into our first
Danielle Report of the week. Danielle, what do you have
going on? What happened while we were all watching a
Tiger King? All right, so you guys know that Jimmy

(30:37):
Fallon is at home doing his tonight show from home, right,
he is raising lots of money for charity, which is
really cool. But he has asked his listeners and or
his viewers to describe quarantine in six words. And here's
some things people came up with. Yes, Netflix, I am
still watching expelled my kid from homeschool and flattening the curb.

(30:59):
Fattening my curbs. It's what everybody is doing right about now.
Sean Mendes and Camila Cabello are self isolating together. They
did an Instagram live concert and it was together for
the Global Citizens Together at Home concert series. I don't
know if you guys saw it or check it out
or heard anything about it, but they were really cute together.
So they are together still. Madonna is calling coronavirus the

(31:23):
great equalizer. She said she said that or she was
sitting in her bathtub exactly. Well, she's saying that it
doesn't matter how wealthy you are, your status, you know,
stuff like that, you're it just equals out people in
many ways. Hey, Danielle, that microphone you're speaking into isn't working,
so you don't have to use that. The microphone that

(31:45):
you're using that you're speaking into doesn't work, so you're
you're like talking into her. Oh no, it is working.
They checked it. It is working. Okay, go ahead, I
can see it input microphone yetty stereo microphone. I can
see it. Okay. Yeah. So, fashion designer Christian Siriano is
volunteering to make masks for medical workers who are fighting

(32:08):
the coronavirus, who are doing it, you know, on the
job all the time. He says he knows that there
is a need for this, so he wants to make them.
And you know, if he makes medical masks, they're gonna
look really really cool because they're gonna be very different
looking because he is a fashion designer and that's what
they do. J Loo shared some home videos and she
said that a lot of people are telling her her

(32:28):
house looks like the house in Parasite. Did you see it?
Did the videos? It? Holy does? It does? It definitely does.
And Ellen Dejenniers is still bored and she's just calling
all of her friends. So she called She called Jennifer
Aniston and then she called Jennifer Aniston thirty minutes later,
and so she's like, what are you doing in Jennifer,
Andison's like, I'm still doing the same thing I was
doing thirty minutes ago. I haven't really changed. I'm still

(32:51):
sitting here. So this is what she's doing. And justin
Timberlake says he is trying his best at his marriage,
but he cannot erase his mistakes. He said, he's always learning.
So I don't know if that means things are exactly
where they need to be yet, but he's working on it.
So hopefully everything is going according to plan. So we
are all obsessed with the Tiger King on Netflix. I

(33:15):
just I just finished The Stranger. So if you haven't
seen that, you definitely want to see that. Put Ozark
on your calendar because that is coming back on Friday,
so that will be awesome. And next hour, oh, we
have to talk about Rosie O'Donnell. She did a three
hour show this weekend and she raised a buttload of
money so with us she did. You know, I think
our friend Eric Bergen had something to do with putting

(33:37):
that show together with her. Oh really, that's cool. Yeah, yeah,
I'll look into it. A lot of people are a
lot of people just need to work. They need to
feel like they're contributing. I love that attitude. I think
it's great. Yeah, there you go. There's your Daniel report
using the fake mic. Nobody, good Daniel, danielle tablet. No,

(34:00):
you know, tap on your laptop, the computer you're using
the computer, the computer, Tap on that. Okay, that's the
mic that you we're listening to you through. Yeah, so
it's like you're holding a microp and I'm just telling
you it's but ask the engineer. The engineer said, he
looked into it, and he says no, it is the microphone.
You're speaking in engineer is not correct. I just if

(34:22):
you want to hold it and it makes you feel
good all day, you can do it. You can hold
that mic I just don't was on the phone. Do
you hear me? Now? Yeah, you're just You're just as
loud as you were without the microp actually louder because
you weren't speaking into the wrong mike. Chef is like,
I think she's maybe talking it to the wrong end. No,

(34:42):
I think Danielle knows how to talk to the microphone.
Danielle has been talking to a microphone for thirty years.
She knows what she's doing. We can hear you. Find
you sound great. Now what are you doing? Are you?
Are you rewiring your entire house? Now she's gone. You
have to enable the sound card for the output for
that microphone. It's it's like, oh my god, I think

(35:03):
she sounds great using the microphone on the computer. It's fine,
it's great. Anyway. I think this is all awesome, and
this highlights how how difficult this is. At this moment,
I can't hear anybody. I can't hear anything now, so
I have to fix it. Okay, all right, it's okay.
Oh no. You know how it is when your your

(35:25):
mom calls or your grandma calls and says, can you
help me with my iPad? You're like, oh, here we go.
It's okay, it's gonna work. I heard her. Just fine,
it's okay. Hey, um, we're still trying to get the
phones to work. Are they working yet? I don't know.
We were doing some tests. They're still not working. All right,
It's awesome. What else can possibly go off the rails?

(35:47):
Don't say don't say that. Oh my god. So do
you guys have this thing where Look? I was living
out here by myself for a week. I was climbing
the walls and we were like, I don't know, Alex,
should you come out, because you know what if we
give it to each whatever. He came out, and so
I was drinking some water and it went down the

(36:07):
wrong hole and I started coughing, and he looked at
me as if I was running toward him with a knife.
I'm like, where are you going? He's like, why are
you coughing like that? I swallowed wrong. I'm sorry, and
I turned into and it's the same as if you're
walking across the room and you step on a board.
It sounds like you farted, but you know you didn't.
I'm like, you try to you try to explain it,
like that was not a fart. That was no, that

(36:28):
wasn't a fart, that was the board, and you try
to recreate it. You know, it's like here here, it
was the same. It was like it was a cough,
but not from the wrong place. It happened to me.
I was walking outside and we were approaching other people,
and so as you approach other people in the sidewalk,
you kind of split and get away from each other. Well,
I inhaled like some gnats in the air, and so
I started choking. You should have seen them run across

(36:51):
the street. They were like literally ran, stupid nat spreading
the coronavirus. I actually saw a very interesting graph pick
over the weekend that said, just assume at this point
that we all have it, stop trying not to get it,
work on how not to spread it. That really is
the best way to do it. That's the best way
to do it. Yeah, it is. Just assume everyone has

(37:12):
it and run like hell, it's all good. It's all good.
I mean, look, nurses are working, first responders, are working,
truck drivers are working, our microphones aren't working, our phone
isn't working, but we got everything else working. Thank you
cable guy for keeping everything on. Let's see people are saying,
oh my god, you swallowed down the wrong hole and
you started coughing, so obviously your gag reflects isn't as

(37:34):
great as you thought. Sorry, let's get into the three
things we need to know this hour, doing it twice
every hour from Gandhi because there's a lot of stuff
we need to know. Let's get into it. What do
you have going on? Gandhi? All right, so we know this.
Danielle touched on it a little bit in her entertainment
report and ninety five masks are essential. Now. At the

(37:56):
beginning of all of this, when people went out and
started panic buying things, a lot of people purchased of
these masks. If you have them, do not try to
make a profit off of them. Donate them because people
really need them. Designers like Michael Costello and Christian Siriano
are making them, and there are actually places online you
can go to get the pattern. If you have a
sewing machine at home and any fabric laying around, you
can be part of the solution as well. We'll try

(38:17):
to get those up if you want those patterns. I
personally sent them to a couple of people this weekend,
but we'll see if we can put them at the
Elvis Serranco page as well. The NFL Draft is still on.
Nobody knows exactly how this is going to be going down,
but we do know one thing. It's not happening in Vegas.
The league hasn't commented publicly on exactly what they're gonna do,
but people are speculating that it might be a studio
show with cut ins to team headquarters for picks. The

(38:40):
draft is still draft is still going to be held
on April twenty third and go through April twenty fifth.
And out of all of this, we now have a
new word, covidiots. I find that to be a great
wordy co vidiots. The governor of Colorado came with it.
Came up with it. He said that he is tired
of seeing social media posts of people not taking it seriously,
of licking things, trying different challenges and doing all they

(39:03):
can to not flatten the curve. So if you're a covidiot,
exactly a hole is good covidiot is great and we
all want everybody to keep social distancing. If you are
one of the people who thinks it's funny not to
you are a covidiot. Don't be a covidiot. Be better,
and those are your three things. Thank you, Godi. I
love this text, reminding me of a meme I saw

(39:23):
over the weekend. You used to cough to cover up
a fart, and now you're far to cover up a cough.
Oh hi everyone, Okay, I'm bad, all right. I do believe.
We're doing free money phone taps this week thanks to
our friends at Delonghi. They are reaching into their Delongy
fund and their their foundation and we are giving away

(39:46):
a thousand dollars every day this week with the Delongy
free money phone tap. And we've we've had this great
relationship with DeLong there. They are members of our family.
Not only do they keep us amped up with the
caffeinated fun, but also they have they have a heart
collective hearts. It's just bigger than Alaska, and that's a
big state. So anyway, thanks to Delongie helping you pay

(40:08):
the bills with a thousand dollars coming up with a
three money phone tap, the free money phone tap. In
just a few minutes. We'll be back with more right
after this Ellie show. Okay, I'm sorry, my kids are
sweating and in the morning show. Wow. So we're just
trying to get our act together with the technical stuff.

(40:32):
It's it's so funny because you know, Okay, so when
we are playing music and stuff, we also offer what's
called phil content, which is like best of and old
shows and things, and so some stations computers are kind
of messed up, so you're hearing a song and us
doing a show at the same time. So we're trying
to fix that. But you know, as long as you

(40:54):
just wait until that song is over, then you'll hear
us live. That's how that works. Okay, there you go.
Here's my favorite. Danielle doesn't realize we're on the air,
and she's like, I'm trying to turn my board back
on somehow. I think, Danielle, you're doing a great job.
I am determined to get this thing to work, and

(41:15):
I don't care how Okay, she's determined. That's what it's about.
It's about determination. Okay, So now we're trying to get
our phones to work. We can hear people when they
call in, but they can't hear us, And I think
Nate is on hold. Let's see if he can hear us. Hello, Nate, Nate?
Nothing can you hear us? How does he How does
he notice? Say nothing? Hello? Can he can hear you?

(41:39):
Because I'm sitting here listening to the studio, but anybody
calling in doesn't hear that? Okay, yeah, yes, okay, we'll
try to work on that. Yeah, he's hearing us live live, okay, okay,
please hold. By the way, well, thank you straight, Nate.
I mean, other than everything not working, it sounds fat

(42:01):
well no you well, thank you, Nate. Thank you for
helping us keep it together. By the way, I'm sitting
a diamond's desk. Her workspace is filthy. Oh, don't touch
a gun. I know she's a filthy gal. We love her,
all right, Thank you, Nate. We're hanging up on you. Okay,
thank you. All right. So we're still working. We're still

(42:23):
working on that. I don't understand that everything can work
on one day and then the next day just gogs
the hell. You know, sometimes it's good to have a
curveball thrown at you. I'm trying to find some positive here.
I have a positive. Yes, yes, scary, we give us
a positive. Today is the first day I'm back in
our Master Control studio, you know the days I was

(42:44):
at Light FM. And And the positive is this. This
place has never looked cleaner. It is sparkling in here.
I know they spray it down with gasoline every night.
Every night. It looks great. I'm just saying, we're all
back in the studio, it's gonna look just pristine. Hey,
so if you have a friend who is trying to

(43:05):
get you to go out and do something or meet
up whatever, and if you say no, I think it's
best we just kind of hang low and quarantine right now.
Don't let them guilt you into it. It's it's cool.
A lot of people are just so lonely right now
and they want to hang out. They want to they
need like face time, not on the iPhone, but like
in the same room. But don't be don't be guilted

(43:27):
into that. Just stay your course, because you know everyone's
telling us the more we do this, the longer we
do this, we'll flatten that curve. You know what I'm saying,
speaking your curves. Who ate a lot of food over
the weekend, I am disgusted by myself, like I don't
understand what I do. I eat and I'm sitting here
full and I think, what should I eat? Nothing? Because

(43:49):
you're full and you're gonna puke. There's no reason to
go back to the fridge. Yet here I am again
at the fridge when we're all learning that we're eating
several lunches. Like I'll do a breakfast and then I'll
do the lunch, then go do something, then come back
and have a lunch. I don't know, it's it's there's
a double of the lunch thing going on. Don't forget snacks.
Yesterday I went to the store and they had little
tubs of chocolate covered pretzels that were filled with peanut butter.

(44:13):
Thank you. I bought a tub of them, and it
lasted about half of it before I got home, and
then the rest of it while I was unloading the
groceries and I was done on the tub. Was it
throw it away? Hey, I gotta I have to give
you an announcement from the farm out here in Jersey. Uh,
it's we're getting snow on Friday, getting snow out here.

(44:37):
Stop it six today? So when we were at we
were at the store to buy our essentials. We I said, Okay,
if I buy ice cream, that's gonna be that's gonna
be my my fault. That's that's where I'm gonna totally
drive off the road. So I've been craving, craving ice cream,
and I've been just keeping it out of the house

(44:58):
because I know that I were I can get skinny cow.
Why don't you buy skinny cow? I screams, I need
full fat, a full cow. I want to be fat
as pepper. That's my new name, heavy heifer. So the

(45:21):
other night I made god, I made uh oh, I
don't know. I think I sent you a picture of it.
I did some eggplant palm and then I did this
this beautiful sweet and spicy sausage and peppers and onions
on pasta. Yesterday than we had tomato soup and grilled
cheese sandwiches for dinner. I'm so excited for lunch splunge.

(45:43):
I know anyway, And I'm confused too at my own body,
because I thought you wanted more calories when you were
more active. I have been less active and somehow needing
all the calories. I don't know. What's happening. Uh, Doctor
Oz is going to be on the phone, but since
our phones don't work, I'm gonna have to call him
on my cell phone. So if you have a question
for doctor Oz in the studios, you have to tell

(46:05):
me and then I'll relate it to him because he
won't be able to hear. You connect to your phone
to your board Bluetooth. Your phone's got into your boards
a little bluetoe. No, no, wait, hold on, Froggy, I
see a phone icon on the board. Yeah, you could
plow your phone in, but it's easier if you just
use the bluetooth. If you connect your phone to the Bluetooth,
when you make a phone call, it shows up rot

(46:27):
on your board. Really out right now, okay, hold on right, Okay,
I go to stattings or you're hearing you're hearing a
miracle in the works live on our show. Okay, Bluetooth,
it's on my Bluetooth button on your board and the
little screen will say would you like to pay a smartphone, tablet,
a computer? Hit yes, Okay, hold on, and then you're

(46:48):
gonna see your board pop up on your phone. Okay,
oh my god. Roadcast pro stick cut off my legs
and call me shorty. This is fabulous? All right? Did
I say that? All right? So my phone is it's
on what do I? Yeah? Which which pot is? Is

(47:09):
it the pot with the phone or the pot with
the bluetooth? The bluetooth? Okay, let me Who should I call?
Alex up? No, No, I'm gonna call Danielle. Let's see
if it works Danielle. Okay, Okay, here we go. Hello, no, hello, hello,

(47:31):
Oh my god, it's on the board. No, I don't
know if it's on the board or it's Oh I
got turned it off. All right, never mind, we'll get
back to that technology later. Let's put that on. Let's
put that call on hold. We're experimenting with technology on

(47:52):
the air. We've we've turned it into our show. It's
like it's a show about putting on a show. There's
really there's nothing. We have no music, we have nothing.
Which is it's a show about a show, God help,
trying to put on a show. It's a show about
trying to put on a show. What could possibly go wrong? Everything? Okay?

(48:17):
So h so I'm all I'm all excited about snacks
for today. I don't know what you're gearing him to eat,
but I'm ready to go. I'm ready to Yeah. So
Alex would say, the way our house is configured, he
is upstairs asleep and I closed the door, but I
know he can hear me because this is an old farmhouse.
I mean, this is on a soundproof structure. So I'm
I feel should we go up and try to wake

(48:39):
him up? I don't know. We'll leave him alone, No,
I'll just wake him up, all right. So let's get
into the three things we need to know from Gandhi.
And I'm so sorry that you had to hear all that,
but we're gonna be testing off air as well. It'll
be great. Uh. Three things we need to know Gandhi?
What's going on? Well, about seventy five million Americans are
now being asked to stay home to help stop the

(49:00):
rapid spread of COVID nineteen. That includes us here in
New York City, all of California, and a lot of
other areas. Who can hear our voices right now? Again,
this is to help flatten that curve, and the faster
we all kind of pause and do the right thing,
the faster we're going to get back to real life.
So let's all just try to do that. It seems
to be really difficult for a lot of people. Don't
be one of those people. So far around the globe,
we're at over three hundred and thirty five thousand cases,

(49:22):
with China, Italy and the US leading in cases confirmed.
And now President Trump is allowing the federal government to
pay the National Guard in New York, California, and Washington State.
If you were waiting on those stimulus checks, you might
be waiting just a little bit longer because that trillion
dollar bill did not get into votes yesterday. Of course,
there's been bickering back and forth on both sides. The

(49:43):
measure will provide checks of twelve hundred dollars to many individuals,
and more if you have a child in the family.
Some members of Congress say that they were really worried
about the wording. It's not going away, it's just getting redone.
And finally, we've talked about a quarantine party club quarantine
to be exact. If you're looking for something to do.
DJ Nice is actually spinning from his place a lot

(50:06):
of the day. He did nine hours yesterday, and you
can party with celebrities like Michelle Obama, Naomi Campbell, Halle Berry, Rihanna.
All you have to do is go to his page again,
that's dj D nice and join the live session so
you can see what's going on and have a good time.
If you're bored and going stir crazy in your house,
club quarantine, that's where it's at. Those crazy us. None
of us are border stir crazy. No, just for other people.

(50:29):
Just the other people. Okay, thank you? Hey, uh, should
we take your break and get ready for the free
money phone tap? Yeah? Yeah, all right, it's worth one
thousand dollars. Let us pay your bills thanks to our
friends too long you who served me up a beautiful
espresso a moment ago. You can win one thousand dollars
with the phone tap coming up right after this. Hey,
this is John Lege, what's up? Chain smokers? Hey, this

(50:51):
is Adina Menzel. It's Elvis Duran. Are you guy any money?
Here we go the free money phone tap a thousand dollars.
Just think of who that could help? Is it you?
Is it someone? You know? Let us stimulate and be
stimulus ish with our money. Thanks to our friends at Delongi.

(51:14):
You know, we've had a great partnership and actually a
relationship maybe a family ship with our friends at Delongi
for so long. Only do they caffeinate us every day
and they also cook our food and they're incredible, incredible
products that we have in our kitchens. But have you
noticed that Delongi more than a lot of other of
our friends. We always come to the party and they
always want to help people out right, they really do. Yep.

(51:38):
So anyway, thanks to Delongie, we are going to give
away a thousand dollars every day this week with the
one thousand dollars. Delongie loves you phone tap, So if
you want to win it, come on, We'll just call
us if you need it. If you're a billionaire, just
sit back and enjoy the phone tap. You don't need
more money. You're good, You're good. Call us now for

(51:59):
our Delongee stimulus package for a thousand dollars one eight
hundred two four two zero one hundred. What phone tap
we planning today? Scary? Oh we have Garrett with the
porta party is not available for your wedding. Oh geez,
I've been waiting for this one. All right, here we go.
Here's your free money phone tap thanks to dlong Elvis
durand Elvis durand phone tap. All right. Well, you know

(52:21):
when it comes to the wedding, a lot of people
get very tense. Yeah, so that's what today's phone taps about.
The letter coming in says dear Elvis, I'm getting married
next week to the love of my life. They're getting
married on a beautiful farm by the way. Anyway, Richie
goes on to say, there's a lot of extra planning
going on, and so my mom, Susan, decided to take
on most of the planning. So why don't we give

(52:43):
her a little phone tap let her know something isn't
right for the wedding on the farm. All right, Richie,
we hear you. We're gonna phone tap your mom Susan.
Garrett is going to start to call as the farm
owner to let Susan know that one of their requests
couldn't be fulfilled. And let's see how she handles it.
Let's see if mom can hang on that. Richie's gonna
jump in on the call. Here is today's phone tap.

(53:03):
Let's listening. Hello, Hi, is this Susan. Susan, Hey Susan,
Hey Susan. It's John Potts over on the farm. How
are you? Oh, Hi, John, good to hear from you
all right this weekend? Oh it's great. Yeah, So I
just wanted to run some things by you for Richie's wedding. Okay,

(53:24):
go ahead. So it seems the chairs have arrived. They're
in mint condition. Yes, the grass just got mowed the
other day, so we're all set with that. Okay. Um,
the John Deluxe porta potty that you wanted for the
outdoor bathrooms. Um, it seems they're not going to be
able to make it to the wedding on time. Uh

(53:48):
what does that mean? There was an order for this
porta potty system to go to another venue before they
came to the Yeah, they're going to actually be in
two states over and it's going to be impossible for
them to get the porter potty from point A to
the wedding on the farm on Saturday. Are you kidding me? Unfortunately? No,
this is what are the other options? What are other options?

(54:08):
I mean, this has to happen all the time. What's
another option? I was seeing if we could come up
with some ideas maybe to get around have an idea,
how about how about we get the deluxe porter potty?
How about that idea? This is the only company and
all of that has it, well, this is the only
one that met your specific qualifications for I mean, yeah,
because I don't want my guests taking the pot in

(54:30):
the back. That's why people are going to have gowns on.
Do you know that? Totally aware of that, and that's
why I'm calling you today to hopefully find out how
we could fix this problem. How are you going to
fix this problem? How we're going to fix the problem
is you're gonna give me a porter potty. I don't
care if you're gonna get a hammer and some screws
and put it together yourself. That's how it's going to happen.

(54:52):
Let's be a little realistic here. I cannot do that.
But so realistic is that I have a wedding happening
on Saturday. That's the realism here. One thing that me
and my partner were thrown around is have an suv
ready to go on standby and shuttle people back and
forth to the next house. Shuttle people got like a
poof show you why no, why are we doing that?

(55:15):
I wasn't portant. A lot of older relatives they want
to see their great grandson get married, and if they
have to go to the bathroom, which they do every
twenty minute. It's just about they're not going to jail
down an suv to go take a crap. I want
what I paid for. I want what I said I want.
All right, I will go see what I could do. Okay,
i'll call you back in a little bit. Fine, Hey, Richie, Yes,

(55:40):
we're going to call her back and you're going to
talk to her. Okay. Hey, hey, mom, I just spoke
to the director over at the farm and he's telling
me that they are not going to be able to
get the deluxe trailer bathroom facilities. And they just called

(56:01):
and said that they accidentally rented it out to somewhere
else in Pennsylvania or something they said. And they're telling
me that we aren't going to have it. No quarter
money the luxe then, right right, no, all right? And
you want to know what, Elsie, Oh, the baby's crying.
You want to what else he told me? And so
he told me that the guy's going to be taking
people from SUVs over to the big house to go potty.

(56:23):
That's what he told me. That's gonna lot, Mom. I
don't think that that's that bad of an idea. If
that's all we can do. If that's the best we
can do, then that's what we should do. That can't happen.
Can you imagine am Barbrand? How often does she go
to the bathroom at christ all the time? She does
go to the bathroom a lot. But I think, I
think that what they've got is what we're gonna have
to take. No, this can't happen this way, Mom, What

(56:48):
you just got phone taps? What? Hey, Susan, my name
is Garret from Elvis Durrand in the Morning show. And
your son Richie wanted to play a phone tap on
you about the wedding. Oh, phone tap? Did you want
your mother to have a heart stack? Susan? What do
you got to say to your son Richie? I want
to ring to say, there's our phone tap, our free

(57:12):
money phone tap, thanks to our frientsed DeLong. We've got
great news from DeLong you. Not only are they giving
up a thousand dollars every day to help you out
and help you pay the bill, but we have other
exciting stuff they're doing for all of us. We'll announce
that later this week. Hey, let's see if the phone
works you guys, ready, Fingers crossed yes, the line four
and see if Joy can hear us? Joy? Can you

(57:33):
hear us? Joy? Hello? Joy, I've got Joy, Joy, Joy,
Joy down down in her Tuesday. She can't hear us?
All right? Hold on, Oh it's scary, scary, look at scary.

(57:54):
Hello Joy, can you hear us? I can hear you.
I can hear Elva saying let me see if the
phone works, and then I don't hear anything. Now hold on?
Can you hear me right now? I can hear you
right now perfectly? Oh my god, it works. Yeah, the
phone work. Sorry to mean to wake you up at Alex.
Alex is pissed off. Hey, so I'm excited. Listen. We

(58:14):
have to have a pet rolly for the phones. All
right now, we're just gonna get Daniel back on it.
We'll be good to go. Joy. You're the first person
on the phone who could hear us today. You're like
a pioneer woman. Thank you, and you just one a
thousand dollars. Yeah, so excited. I needed a little joy
in my life. Thank you so much, and thank you.
You've got joy Danny. Yeah, all right, Joy, how are

(58:41):
you holding up during this craziness? Are you doing okay?
I'm holding up. Okay, I'm still going to work. I work.
I want to be essentials. I worked for an accounting
firm and we're still doing tax work, but only ten
percent of the office is coming in. I am my
husband's quarantine. My daughter. I have a daughter in medical school.
She's quarantined. It's it's very trying on everybody. But we're

(59:02):
managing and we're all doing our part and helping each
other out. It's just it's scary. I feel last night
I felt very scared, you know what. But you woke
up and here we are on the radio in front
of million to people winning a thousand dollars, and you
get friends here, and we're gonna be here every morning
and you can hear it. It's a crap show. Well,

(59:26):
thanks for so much. Let's just call it the crap show.
Oh hold on, doctor Oz is calling. Please hold hold on,
Joys thanks to Deloe hold on saying thanks to DeLonge
another thousand dollars free money phone tap tomorrow, doctor Oz.
Can you hear us? I can hear you, Danielle. Oh yay, wait,
you can hear doctor Oz. Wait hold on a second.

(59:48):
You gotta pot them up on your boarding Okay, here
we go. How about now I hear you? Well, Oh
my god, we can hear you. Know what, doctor Oz.
It's it's like trying to go into surgery and you
you don't have any scalpels. We've been doing that all more,
but we just got our scalpel. Now we can operate.
You're live. This is great. Can you hear me? I
hear you? Well? I thought I was at home. I

(01:00:09):
was talking. No one was hearing me. Oh no, doll.
Now can I tell you a quick story? So doctor
Oz is working around the clock, and I know his
schedule because the person who's doing his schedule is a
good friend of ours. And I actually talked to doctor
Oz's wife, Lisa. I said, Lisa, he's working way too
hard and doing too much. Do you want me to
kidnap him and bring him home? And she said, well,

(01:00:30):
I miss him, but he's doing the stuff he loves
to do the most. Are you really, doctor Oz? Are
you actually loving helping people right now? I do. And
it's not just pure altruism. It gives me mission, It
gives me purpose, and I think, especially as we quarantine,
it is the single biggest advice I give when folks
say they're down this. We've just got data yesterday from China.

(01:00:51):
Fifty percent of the people who were in quarantine China
had significant depression. The best anecdote of depression is to
help somebody to be kind crazy. It doesn't makes sense,
but it absolutely works. We are hard wired and with
that in mind, if you don't mind, I'm going to
launch into this. This incredible advance that I'm excited. This
is amazing. No doctor I was telling me about this yesterday.

(01:01:11):
I could not wait to get him on the air
and thank god our phone works. Okay, listen to this,
go right ahead, it's all yours. So on Thursday there
was a paper that was released. It wasn't published, it
was released. Now it's published, but it was so exciting
that the researcher, who was a very well respected French doctor,
shared it with the world. And what he did was
to take some ideas that had been created in China

(01:01:34):
as a battle coronavirus, a combination of two old drugs, Zipac,
which many of you know about, an antibiotic, and i'd
actually chloroquin, which is the malaria drug that the use
since nineteen fifty five. And it turns out that this
combination offers a lot of promise in test tubes to
kill off coronavirus. So he used it in thirty six
patients in Marseilles, and he found that in one hundred

(01:01:57):
percent of the cases who got the combination drugs, there
was no virus left in six days, whereas normally only
twelve percent of people will get rid of their virus.
That's why we're so infectious, because the virus last in
our body for up to twenty days in many cases,
and so that changes everything because now we're less infectious.
He also confided in me and all this is on

(01:02:18):
my show this afternoon because I interviewed Hibs Skype. I
was so excited to grab him that he thinks clinical
behavior is better too, and then we don't get as sick. Now.
I checked this guy out. I called all my buddies
the French heart doctor. They all think he's the real deal.
And so over the weekend we worked hard at colub
University with some wonderful docts, the right protocols so we

(01:02:38):
can study this drug. We need to do the right study.
That the study in France was a pilot. Today just
sort of give you an idea for works or not,
but we did actually prove in a randomized trial that
it's effective. But in the meantime, this French doctor and
many people around the world are starting to use this
pill in order to reduce the chance that they'll they'll
have a bad complication of coronavirus and reduce their infectivity.

(01:02:59):
And I gotta say, I think that's what's going to
happen in this country as well. Just this morning I
opened the post up and I saw articles from celebrities
who have been using this. Everyone in America's at least
know it's an option. But I want to be clear
on one thing. We don't have enough pills, so I
don't want folks hoarding these pills. We need to use
them for the sickest folks under doctor's supervision, and when

(01:03:19):
it makes sense because there's some complications from these pills
as well. They're not magic. They just crutch a tool
that may help us in a desperate situation. So as
we do the clinical trials, we would have carefully used
them in the selected patients who benefit them. But it
gives me tremendous hope that the most feared problems with
coronavirus might not be there anymore. Wow. And the word

(01:03:40):
is hope, you know, And that's what it's all about. Look,
you know, if we have this story and more stories
like it, it's giving people a sense that there is
an end to this. And so look, we and then'll
make it easier for us to stay quarantined and stay
patient as long as we know something good could be
coming down the road and someone's work on it. So

(01:04:01):
make sure you watch doctor Arge this afternoon because I'm
sure by then you'll have a lot more information. Right. Yeah,
I'm gonna put it all day. I'm also posting on
our social sites the protocol they used in France and Leeds.
You know what it is, Elvis, Yeah, we don't only
said a long time. I feel so strongly about this.
I'm putting my money where my mouth is. I'm funding
the trial. I sent my son in law, my son
to procure the drugs because we couldn't find it. It's

(01:04:21):
easier to get illegal drugs than these meds. We have beautiful,
wonderful clinicians, doctors worked all weekend long to get these
protocols together. I spoke to other centers in other states.
We collaborated the French sent us their data, their protocols.
I mean, it is so heartwarming to see passionate doctors
and nurses collaborating to figure this out. All we've got

(01:04:42):
to do, all we've got to do is getting up pills.
So my call to and I spoke to people in
the task force in Washington. You know, mister President, get
us more pills. We need the pills so that the
people who are sick and always get them now way
people won't feel pressure the hoard. That's my only request.
Be patriotic, be patient. We'll figure this out for sure
the next few weeks. If you're sick, you know, I

(01:05:02):
can completely understand why you want to take the pills.
Talk to your doctor. It might be reasonable. But in
the meantime, don't take them prim your medicine cabinet in
case you get sick, right, yeah, don't do that. And
if and by the way, if if the government needs
like a lot of pills, I Gandhi has everything. I
don't know if you know he got everything. So it
just called doctor. This is exciting and I'm so glad

(01:05:23):
we could get you on because I mean, he was
so skippy on the phone yesterday about this and so
to keep an eye on the news and watch all
of this come truth. Please Lord, let it all come
true for us, doctor Oz. I know you have lots
to do. We love you. We're all quarantined. What is
your number one piece of advice, and then we'll let
you go go. I won't advices. Love the people you're with,
because you won't get these chances maybe more times. It's

(01:05:43):
been blessful for some as long as you think about
it that way, all right, don't be alone. You may
be alone, but don't be lonely. It's all. It's so
important to reach out to anyone in your life who
may need to hear from you. Think about them, make
a list and call them every day. We love you,
doctor Oz, go away, call us back with more more miracles. Okay,
love you guys. There you go, several miracles. They're not
only possibly something that could slow down the coronavirus, but

(01:06:05):
the second miracle, the phone worked. It was like, wow, yeah,
that was pretty cool. Did you hear that the phone worked?
All right? Coming up, Danielle. Danielle has another Danielle report.
By the way, Danielle is in her basement and so
Danielle has her red hair and behind her she has

(01:06:26):
these red curtains and I can see Danielle with full certainty.
Your hair matches the curtains. You know what I'm saying.
Your hair mentions the drapes. This is cool anyway, With that,
at tacky Thing said, let's take a break. We have
more of something we don't know what coming up after this.
More from the Mercedes MG Interview Lounge. Katie Perry's on

(01:06:49):
the phone. So you were obviously shooting American idol while
you were pregnant. Did you have to hide it from people? Well,
the good thing is that I've always been hungry, fought
you by say these AMG be prepared for whatever comes
your way and the all new GT four door coup
because life is a race. Visit your local dealership for
a test drive today. Elvis Duran in the morning show.

(01:07:11):
Stamps dot Com. They bring all the services of the
US Postal Service right to your computer. It's so easy.
Just click print mail and you're done. Get a four
week trial plus postage in digital scale. When you go
to stamps dot com, click on the microphone at the
top of the homepage. Type in Elvis that stamps dot com,
enter the code to Elvis, We're about to do something

(01:07:33):
wacky on the wacky morning. Good morning. Yeah, I had
sex with them, Yeah tongue. Do you want if I
put my toe on your ankle look at the table,
I would most certainly come back as a straight female,
so I could have sex with all the hot straight boys,
say song. All this burping is turning me on Elvis

(01:08:06):
story in in the Morning show. Oh isn't it greats
us to get along with your friends and hang out
even though you're not in the same room. We're all
over carnation, as my dad used to say, we are
all together. Danielle is in her basement, Gandhi's in all
living room, Scary's at Master Control along with Straightton Aid
and Scottie B and Garrett, and of course uh Froggy's
in Jacksonville. I'm in my kitchen and look who just

(01:08:28):
walked in. Alex just woke up and walked downstairs. Good
money in that wild He has his own microphone, but
he's on the opposite side of the kitchen. I love this.
In the kitchen, Elvis could make me pancakes and did
a show and okay, great, so here's how about you
make him pancakes. Yeah, why don't you make me some
flat jacks? Oh no, you don't want me doing that.

(01:08:51):
So you know, we actually slept in the same bed
last night, but he faced one way, I faced the other.
Oh God, it's okay. But um, so today's the day
Alex and I. After the show, we're gonna go onto
YouTube and find a tutorial and how he can. We
can both put on masks and he can cut my hair.
What do you think? Is this a bad idea or
a good idea? I think okay, one at a time. Yes, Daniel,

(01:09:15):
I think you should just live with it the way
that it is, because I think it's you're going to
regret it the other way. What about you, Gandhi? I
think it's awesome for you to grow out a man bun.
This is your time and you can just blame it
on the coronavirus. It wasn't your fault, but you couldn't
get a hair cut. I think we should let him
cut my hair. Come on, your hair agreed. I'm gonna

(01:09:37):
cut his hair today because it's gonna grow back. And
as I'm doing his head, maybe i'll trim is back too.
Oh stop, you know what look like thank you. You know,
I don't need you on the show. Go back to him,
to the other room anyway. So, uh, we're doing okay,
you know what. So Alex is here for a few
days and then I'm gonna be alone on the farm

(01:09:58):
for another week. And it's okay, we're doing well, We're
doing okay. Yes, we're doing very well. All right, go
watch cartoons. Yes, out, I gotta I gotta get go
to a phone call. You stay here if you want. Shelley.
I think she's still online. Let's talk to Shelly. We've
been trying to get her on all morning long. I
think it's finally working. Shelley. Can you hear us? I
can hear you. Wow. So Shelley and Alex and I

(01:10:21):
have something in common. We're all on the farm and
you've been on your farm for the last nine days,
totally quarantine. How many people are you quarantine with on
the farm. Well, it's my twelve year old and my
husband is still working, so when he comes home, it's
kind of like into the shower, closing the laundry. And
then I looked at him out of the corner of
my eye all day like are you good? Wow? Well,

(01:10:43):
so so what kind of farm you have gone there? Well,
so far we've only been here since November, so but
in the last two weeks we've got ourselves two more
kittens and nine chickens and baby chickens, so we got
them in a container and they're peeping all over the place,
and you know, we we're on a creek, so we
get to go fishing. Still, we're doing yardwork. It was

(01:11:05):
kind of not maintained the past a bunch of years,
so we fight flowers all over the place and just
discovering it. And it's wonderful, absolutely, But you're so you're
quarantined on a farm, which which I am as well.
And it's weird because at least if you live in
the city like a froggy, you see your neighbors going
by and you can sit on the patio and say

(01:11:26):
hi to them. Or if you live in the city
like Gandhi, you have people jogging by and daniels in
a neighborhood. All I see is everyone swallow hawk will
fly by, high hawk. But have an idea for you.
He let me ask you how large? How large is
your farm, Shelley? How much acreage do you have? About
two and a half. Oh good. Have you seen Tiger

(01:11:47):
King on Netflix? I have. You need to get big cats.
You need big cats like those crazies have on their farms.
Don't you think you need big cats? Idea, No, I
want I want a monkey. Yeah, you need a monkey.
Get some exotics out there. No, well, look if you

(01:12:08):
have them, smoke him if you have them. We love
you for listening to us. Thank you for listening, Shelley,
and the best of luck to you on the farm. Okay,
thank you, same to you guys. Hey, by the way, Uh,
do you have a Delongie all in one espresso and
coffee machine on the farm. I do not? Okay, just checking,
all right? Uh should I give her one? You should mean?

(01:12:30):
All right, We're gonna send you a Delongi all in
one espresso and coffee machine. I know, I know. Hold
on one second, Shelley. Thanks for listening to us. Wow,
thanks to Delongue. I mean there's they're helping us give
away a thousand dollars every day with the free money
phone tap. That is really cool. And like I said

(01:12:51):
to Shelley, smoke him if you have them, it's pretty cool. Yeah.
I do believe we have royalty on the phone, ladies
and gentlemen, The CEO of iHeartMedia, the one and only
Bob Pittman. Please welcome Bob Pittman. Hey, Hey, Bob, good morning.
Why are you up so early? Well, I'm up early

(01:13:13):
because I gotta be up early. Somebody told me I've
got to call you at eight am to do well,
not yet, because I told our story earlier. Because every
afternoon at five o'clock I do virtual happy hours with
my friends on FaceTime, and I get a little drunk,
and then I start texting Bob Pittman with ideas for

(01:13:34):
new shows. Oh god, five o'clock. Be wary of the ideas.
That's the good ideas. Start you kidding me? Please? Well, okay, maybe,
wouldn't you have When you have one that you like,
let me know and we'll get working on it. So
I'm glad you you phoned in this morning, Bob. First

(01:13:55):
of all, we're holding the four down, and thanks to
our engineering department and all of our people who work
and programming with THEA and Tom and Josh Hadden and
Jeff and everyone, we're putting shows on from around the
region every day and it's working. Thank you so much
for people keep truly amazing what people are doing in

(01:14:15):
our company to make sure we stay connected to the
listeners and making sure our stations are on the air,
they're relevant, that we're keeping the information flowing, that we're
keeping people company. A lot of people are isolated, very
important for us to do keep people calm. I know
there are a lot of a lot of rumors out there.
I think the best thing for people is to have
the real information. And I think the commitment you and

(01:14:38):
your group have made to really keep this show on
the air and keep it going and really amazing, and
I applaud you for it. It's really wonderful. You know what, Bob,
I want you to touch on something that all of
us have heard from your heart many times. But the
people listening right now, they're listening, and maybe they don't
know why they listen to us every day and why
it's more important now more than ever. And I want

(01:15:01):
you to go ahead and describe in your words why
what we're doing and why everyone in the entertainment business
is doing what they're doing to keep us connected right now. Well,
you know, I think every company has to have a
mission that you're doing something that's really of good to society,
and I think what we do is and our mission
statement actually says this, We're here to give everybody in

(01:15:24):
America a friend. Anytime, twenty four hours a day, we're here.
We can keep people company, we can make sure we
keep them informed, and we're here really to take care
of people. And I think at a time like this,
when people are isolated in which they're alone, which information
becomes really you know, important to people for doing their

(01:15:47):
well being, their health, their life. I think we're on
a mission critical situation. And again it is a company.
I think everybody in the company really rallies behind that
that we got to keep people company, we gotta keep
them informed, we gotta keep them entertained, we got to
keep them calm, we got to keep people connected to
each other. Um, and you're at the forefront of it.

(01:16:09):
And for that we thank you well, thank you, and
thank you everyone. Danielle is in her basement, Gandhi's in
her living room, Froggy's in his guest bedroom. I'm in
my kitchen and uh, I mean, we're all over everywhere,
but we do have some centralized people, Scary and Straightenate
and Garrett and of course Scottie b there and Josh.

(01:16:30):
They're all going into our master control facilities every day
to make sure this show is on the air. And
it's a scary ride driving around New York City right now,
so I want to thank them as well. Hey, it's
also even going into the office. You know, it's important
for us as we took all the central people out
of the office, so for the people who do need
to go in that we've we've decreased a number of
people in the office, so we can really practice social distancing, uh,

(01:16:54):
and we can reduce their chance of getting infected as well. Hey, Bob,
we started our show this morning, I believe putting us
in the right gear for today. In this week, we
know that this week there's no hiding it. This week
is going to be a very challenging week. We're going
to see some numbers and things that may alert us
to things that we didn't think of or maybe scare

(01:17:14):
us a little. And this is why us being here
every day is so important. We started the show today
with the star spangled banner, the Whitney Houston version, like
the most famous one we play anyway, and it really
reminded all of us that we are as a country
in this together, and it's so important. This unity is
what's going to get us through this. And you have

(01:17:34):
a great idea that you want to do, and I
want you to share it with everyone listening right now. Well,
I think the idea came from all of us, and
I think it was people really trying to say, what
can we do to bring people together? So today at noon,
on every one of our radio stations across America, eight
hundred and fifty radio stations coast to coast, at noon
Eastern time, we're going to play the Star Spangled Banner

(01:17:58):
in unison, block it across America, and we're doing it.
Really is a tribute to every American, to every family,
every first responder, and really as a huge thanks to
these frontline health professionals who who are literally risking their
lives to keep us safe. And hopefully what we do
at that moment is we really focus on how great

(01:18:21):
we are as a country and as a people working together,
and that we will get through this together. All right. Excellent?
And by the way, a lot of our listeners out
there are listening to us on a station that's not
an iHeart station, So I encourage all of you programmers
and station managers to join us. Let's let's make this

(01:18:43):
in every radio and media company thing and every audio
company doing a live audio. I think everyone should stop
down and play the Star Spangled Banner today at twelve noon.
And I think that's pretty cool. It's very cool, and
we're gonna play it again right now. Do you do
you have a preference? Do you're like Whitney or Demi Lavado?
There is a version you like the best, and Whitney's
got to be the classic, isn't it. I think it is.

(01:19:04):
I think we're gonna let it rip. Is there anything
else you want to add to the extremely incredible information
you've shared with us already? Well, look, I just think again,
it's a it's a thanks to everybody who's listening, because
I think what we've got is we're seeing the best
of people. We're seeing people come together to help each other,
to help people through this, and I'm certain we will
as we always do as a country, because we work together,

(01:19:27):
you know, Danielle and Gandhi. One of my drunk ideas
was doing day drinking with Elvis Duran, where we go
live every afternoon, just having cocktails, doing shots, drinking, drinking quarantines.
They shot it down. They didn't like it. I don't know.
I think we've got a winner here. That was a
little selfish, that idea. I think for you, it's a problem.
It's day drinking with Elvis. It has a nice ring

(01:19:48):
to it. All right, Bob, you've got lots to do.
Thank you so much for your leadership, and thanks for
coming on today. And at noon we're playing Star Spangled
Banner for you. And have a great day. Okay, stay safe, thanks,
all right, bye bye um, all right, an instant request
for Bob Pittman. Here we go, roll, It's scary? What's so?

(01:20:22):
By me? Who's runs? Rised? Espie over? What's so? Dream?

(01:21:18):
That still wore the that's it? What a gift she

(01:22:08):
left us? You know? Wow? Yeah, you know what being scared,
being frightened, being confused. When you hear that, it reminds
you of what it is all about. And and we
needed that. That was That was excellent. Let's get into
the three things we need to know right now. Gandhi
from her living room, what's going on? Well? Hello, all right,

(01:22:29):
you were talking about looking at your window and seeing
some snow a little while ago, and I'm sorry to
tell you. It looks like more of that's headed this way.
Two storm systems bearing down from Iowa to New England,
and these storms could bring from one to ten inches
of snow depending on where you are. So for that,
we're moving down to your house, Froggy, We're coming to
Florida all right. COVID nineteen now helping raise overtime pay

(01:22:55):
for Amazon warehouse workers. Amazon said it's going to pay
hourly workers double time and stead of just time and
a half for all the hours work between March fifteenth
all the way through May ninth. That's how long some
people are expecting this to go. Could go longer, could
go shorter. We know the Amazon is handling a lot
more with everybody being at home, especially Danielle. And there
are places that are still hiring. So if you are

(01:23:17):
one of the places that are still hiring, please send
me a DM because we want to know this information
and get it out there for people who might need
work right now at Baby Hot Sauce on Twitter and Instagram.
If your place of business is hiring, and we talked
about this earlier. Now it's up at Elvis, durand dot
com and ninety five masks are essential. If you have them,
don't hoard them. They're way more effective for the medical

(01:23:38):
professionals who meet them than for us as civilians, so
make sure you donate them. We've seen a lot of
people doing terrible things, but Christian Siriano and Michael Costello,
both designers, they're going to stay home and make a
bunch of these masks. We put a pattern up for
the masks, like I said, at Elvis durand dot com,
three D printing places trying to make the masks as well.
If you have a sewing machine and some fabric at

(01:23:59):
your house and you're forward, this is a perfect time
to do something good again. Elvis Durancho dot com, elvisuran
dot com for that pattern and those are new three things.
Thank you, Gandhi. A lot of people are texting in
at fifty five one thank us for playing the Star
Spangled banner, and my favorite, a three time combat veteran says,
thank you, applauds us, salutes us for playing the national anthem,
reminding us all what it's about. And so not only

(01:24:20):
do we think all the heroes that are out and
about and making sure we're staying healthy, we're staying alive.
We're doing our best to fight this virus, but also
keeping things on the shelves and keeping people safe everywhere.
Let's also thank the veterans people who have worked so
hard to get us where we were the day this
virus hit us. You know what, we live in an
amazing country. Thank you very much for your service. We're

(01:24:41):
gonna take a break. We have more of the show
coming up for you right after this. Is this conversation
really gonna keep the listeners thrilled? Yes? Yea. Elvis Duran
in the Morning Show bring out your beauty with suncare
inspired by Hawaii. Hey, it's Gandhi and Hawaiian Tropic Sunscreen
has perfected a light, non greasy formula that's great for
your daily beauty routine. You know that sun protection daily

(01:25:03):
is essential, so stock up today. Available at Amazon is
Elvistrand in the Morning Show. Wow, this is great. We
have so much lined up for this break. Garrett has
some sound coming up in a few minutes. That's great stuff,
unbelievable stuff. We'll have him on the phone. The sound
will be live in your ear holes in just a moment. Also,

(01:25:24):
we have a caller calling in from Florida. The great
state of Florida. Her name is Kaylin, who actually was
visiting Italy the most beautiful plays known to man. She
was in Milan and on the plane home she got
sick and yes, of course coronavirus. She did catch it.
The good news. She's in much better shape now and
we want to talk to her. She was the very

(01:25:44):
first person in Florida. I do believe, right, Froggy who
was who was actually diagnosed? Is this true? She was
the very first female. That was an eighty eight year
old man that was he was the very first person
in Florida. She was the first female and feeling very
very good now, great, I want you to hear her
her and her tone and her words of advice coming
up in a second. First, let's go around the room.
We'll go down to the room below the house, the

(01:26:07):
basement with Danielle. What's going on with you right now? So,
my husband and I have been trying to keep not
just us occupied, but like people in our neighborhood occupied.
So he's been doing Facebook live shows. So we're doing
the Danielle and Sheldon Facebook live show every couple of days. So,
and actually your husband Alex has been getting involved. Yesterday

(01:26:28):
we did family Feud and we did a whole family
feud game and we gave away a prize and everything
and it was a lot of fun. So what do
we want? Yeah, so yesterday we did it at two thirty.
We I don't know, we were going to announce the
next one, Like we've got to figure out what our
next one's going to be and then we'll announce it
at some point today. But we've been able to. Yeah,
the other day, we did you say anything about it?

(01:26:49):
You didn't say, yeah, I'm not telling you about my entertainment. Okay,
Oh god, I like that. That's original content. Yes, it's
which worth gold. I love it. Scary. What's up with
you today? Well, I could never win because usually I
have fomo. But now that everybody's just hanging out at
home and stuff, people are having virtual happy hours. And

(01:27:10):
a bunch of our old friends got together and posted
there the content of their virtual happy hour on Instagram story,
and I'm like, they didn't invite me. So now I'm
having virtual happy hour fomo because I wasn't invited to
that happy hour that they were happening on house party.
You're angry. I can see if someoney could just throw

(01:27:32):
me an invite to be part of the virtual happy hour.
I will gladly show up just right. Just don't leave
me out. You know it wasn't it like several months
ago that you and all the old Z one hundred
people went out and didn't invite me. Now, you know
how that foggy? I know, I mean that scary. I know.
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. We will include you. Hey, Gandhi,
what's up with you today? Hello? So we always talk

(01:27:54):
about how we are like a family, and a lot
of people have been reaching out. You guys are so
nice because you know that I'm pretty solo through this
whole thing. Well, your assistant Andrew, who was the greatest
person on the planet, called me yesterday and said, hey,
in like twenty minutes, walk outside for a second. So
I did, and he came over and from afar he
tossed me a package and I was like, oh, what
is this? It's a Nintendo Switch and Super Smash Brothers.

(01:28:17):
Because he said he still wants me to be able
to play with my friends because he feels bad that
I'm alone, and I love the ball. He's the absolute best. Gandhi.
Which day did you and I do a virtual happy
hour of drinking whiskey. We did it on Friday Friday. Yeah, yeah,
I went from that. Yeah, I know. I don't remember

(01:28:38):
how the night ended, but it was great. Oh I'm sorry,
Oh god, damn. All right, So Froggy called me last
night and said, you've got to talk to Klein. On
line twenty four, Scary pulled her up. Good morning, Kaylin,
welcome to the show. Good morning everyone. Oh you sound good.
You sound good. This is gonna be a good call. Hey, Frog,

(01:29:00):
you talk about why you thought it was important. We
try to get Klin to spend some time with us today.
So Calin was the very first female in the state
of Florida diagnosed with coronavirus back in February, and she's
doing very well. She's got a very upbeat story, very
uplifting and how she coped with it and how she
got through and how she's been able to do better,
and at the same time, she wants us as a

(01:29:21):
society to do better and make sure that we're quarantining
and taking care of ourselves and authors. There you go. Well, Klin,
thanks for spending time with us. How are you feeling today.
I'm feeling great, one hundred percent. I'm recovered. You've had
my negative test results come in, and you know, just
trying to you know, push awareness and really you know,

(01:29:42):
bring some light to this, to this situation and hopefully
help some people. So Calin you were, you were in
Milan and you were on the plane home, and I'm
assuming when you started to get sick on the plane,
your mind immediately went to coronavirus, right, you know, it
actually did it. I'd spent weeks overseas. I had my
reservations before going over there, because you know, I booked

(01:30:04):
my trip in January. There wasn't a whole lot of activity,
if any, in Europe. The US was um, you know,
they we were talking about the potential of it, you know,
coming here and being a huge issue, but there wasn't
much activity here as well, and so um, you know,
I spent some time in Spain, Italy, and then I
left Milan on a Friday and went to France. Actually,

(01:30:25):
and I was in France for four days and on
Tuesday was my flight home. Monday evening, you know, I
felt a little under the weather. And when I had
left on Friday to come to France to go to France.
That Saturday, I woke up to you know, headlines on Twitter,
you know, Milan outbreak, Milan outbreak, coronavirus, and every everyone

(01:30:48):
in our group really thought, dang, we really missed that. Like,
you know, we're blessed, thank you. You know, we all
just kind of felt relieved. At breakfast that morning, We're like,
you know, we just missed that. And ended up coming home.
On my flight to JFK from France on Tuesday, and
I came down with a really bad fever. I had
a little bit of like an itchy throat or a
dry cough, and you know, my first instinct wasn't necessarily coronavirus.

(01:31:13):
I'd been traveling for two weeks, possibly maybe a cold.
You know, maybe I'm under the weather from being on
the road. You know, you're hanging out with friends. It
was you know, Paris Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week. You know,
you know, we're hanging out. And once I landed at
JFK after traveling for the day that following evening, I
had a layover. I was in the hotel and I
started coughing up some green mucas. Pretty quickly. My dry

(01:31:35):
cough i'd turned to a wet cough. I had some
muscle aches, and you know, I knew something wasn't right
at that point. You know, green mucas in your respiratory
system indicates some type of infection and I just didn't see.
I've had the flu before, and I hate to compare it,
but symptomatically, it just wasn't something I'd ever felt before.
This felt different. It's interesting when we hear these stories, kaylor.

(01:31:58):
We hear the people who have been who know they
have coronavirus, and they have different symptoms. It hits different
people in different ways because bodies are you know, they're
all different. We're working at different levels and in different lanes,
so it's it's not one thing. So anyway, so you
you finally got home to Florida, I'm assuming and uh
you knew eventually you were tested and they said you
have it, right, Um? Yeah, so you just stay at home,

(01:32:21):
you quarantined. And how how bad did you get on
the on the on the pain scale of one to ten,
where were you hitting? You know, I would say probably
about like a seven. Um, I have a pretty high
pain tolerance. I wouldn't say it was painful. I would
say it was uncomfortable at times. Um. You know, feeling
ill and being ill is not fun. Um. But there

(01:32:42):
was never a time where I thought, you know, this
is too much and you to see seek additional medical
attention and you go to the hospital. Um. But I
am a you know, a healthy individual, health and lawless
has you know, you know, been a huge part of
my life. So I do credit that to probably some
of my quick recovery. UM. And yeah, you know, I
just I would. The main thing is is isolation. UM.

(01:33:05):
I was sick when I got home, and I knew
that and I isolated immediately. I protected myself with you know,
a mask. I had my younger sister who lives with me,
and before I came home, I was like, listen, I'm
not feeling good. If this is, for whatever reason, coronavirus,
you need to, you know, go get some masks for
the house. Make sure you wear one. And she was
around me for about four and a half five days

(01:33:26):
before I got my negative result back, and she tested
She tested negative. So you know, it is possible if
you take the right precautions to protect the people in
your household if you have to be around them in
a situation came house like you see, my husband Alex
is like six feet away from me right now, and
that's as close as he's gonna get it. That's fine,
We're okay. We all know that a pandemics end. They

(01:33:47):
all come to an end. Our our job is to
do exactly what Kalin did and make it come to
an end fast by just being smart. So I'm assuming
you drank a lot of liquids, you did a lot
of rest, and you stayed away from other people. Are
those the three things that you believe got you through
this fastest? Yeah? You know. The one thing I will

(01:34:08):
say is is the difficulty breathing. The chest tightness a
little bit was um, it wasn't alarming, but you know
it was uncomfortable at times. Did some breathwork that really helped.
And you know the isolation part obviously. But you know,
I think that as long as we're looking out for

(01:34:29):
those people around us, if we do feel ill and
taking that into consideration, having compassion for people's situations, it's
not necessarily about us if we have it or if
we're dealing with it, it's who we could possibly you know,
transmit it to or pass it along to. That's a
higher risk that is going to have a very very
difficult time bouncing back from this this virus. As we've
been saying since the very beginning, about your your responsibility

(01:34:52):
and society is really what's going to make it happen.
So people got to take it seriously. Hey, Daniel, do
you have a question or a comment for Kalin? I
just think it's great that you're sharing your story with everybody,
because a lot of people, you know, don't know, like
they hear things here and there and they just take
what they hear and they take it to be factual.
Like the fact that you have gone through it and

(01:35:13):
you can tell everybody exactly what you felt and what
you know what not to listen to. I think that's
very very important. And your negative results now testing negative
shows everyone listening that it's there. There are two ways
to go play it smart and you could hopefully end
up just like Kaylin and being on a big time
radio show talking about your experiences thinking this must be

(01:35:39):
you know what, here's a reason to survive just to
be on this show. What about you? What about you? Gandhi?
What do you have for Kaylin? I love that she's
putting this message out there, especially in Florida, especially toward
young people, because I know that everyone has been out
partying and doing what they feel like they want to
keep on doing, and it's important to flatten the curve,
like we keep talking about. So it's I'm not glad

(01:35:59):
in any way that you got it, but I'm glad
that you're spreading the message as a young person in
Florida not to go out because this is very, very
contagious and we can all get sick though. Right, let's
goodn't ask you how old are you if you don't
mind telling us twenty nine? Penty nine A right, and
there you go this whole process. You know, I'm a
sportsman floss therapist, so how you know, Like I said,

(01:36:19):
health is such a huge part of my life and
wellness and so this is really staying true to myself.
I feel like for me to go through this experience
and be able to share it and learn about the
virus and talk to doctors and bioscientists and you know,
the stuff really interests me. So I'm glad that. You know,
I'm not glad that I got it or that I
had to deal with it, but I think it's been um,
you know, just an educational and informational time for me

(01:36:42):
as well in my personal life. There you go, you
know what, And we always say, no matter what you're
going through, no matter what challenges the universe it throws
at you, you are learning something. Don't forget to be
aware of what you're learning. And that's the whole point.
I'm so happy to speak to you, Klin. Thank you
so much for your time. Froggy, thank you so much
for connecting us with Kalin. Thank you it was and

(01:37:02):
can thank you so much. And are you still are
you still quarantining yourself now that you are testing negative?
Are you staying inside and still staying away from everybody?
I am as much as you know. I have a
piece of paper from the Florida Health Department that says,
I don't have to I don't have to isolate. I
don't have to quarantine. I can be around people, I
can be around groups of people. UM. You know, I
don't want to contradict indicate myself, and UM I just

(01:37:26):
you know, I just want everyone to quarantine and everyone
to stolp isolate so we can stop this high spike
in cases that we're seeing. And and so yes, I'm
practicing isolation as well. So can you get it again? Yeah,
that was my question. You know, there's there's um talk
that you know, there's a potential UM, but immunity is
looking pretty good. Um, I've heard for a year to

(01:37:47):
three years. I've heard twelve months to eighteen months. Um.
You know, your body builds up um antibodies and a
defense mechanism against these types of viruses. And so, UM,
I'm not I'm not living in fear. I'm not living
in and you know worry. I'm not walking around if
you know I have to go to the grocery store
or something like that, then I'm you know, I'm scared.

(01:38:07):
So I'm not one hundred percent sure, and either are we.
You know, we'll find out as as this virus continues,
and hopefully there's a vaccine soon and we can have
some more answers. There you go, Klin, Thank you so
much for your time again, Klin, thank you for your
your your experience and sharing it with us. And what
we heard is, yeah, she definitely tested positive for coronavirus

(01:38:29):
and actually had severe symptoms, a seven out of ten
in her words. Now, she did the right thing by
drinking lots of liquids and resting and staying away from
other people to keep them safe because that's her societal responsibility,
and now she is testing negative. Thank you so much
for your time, Calin, go have a great day and
stay healthy. Okay, thank you so much. There you go.

(01:38:49):
Thank you. It's good to hear because, you know what,
every day they give us the numbers, you know, the
numbers are staggering people who are passing away from this.
It's good to talk to someone who actually experienced it,
you know, and they got through it, you know, and
let's let's hope we have more of those. I really
really love that call. Again, Thank you, Froggy. What do
you guys think so far? Yeah, I mean I'm glad

(01:39:09):
that we had her on. That was awesome. That was
actually I think that's a perfect call because it's one
of those things where it shows you that it is contagious,
it shows you that it is hitting everybody, but it
also ends on a note of hope. So it's not
this gloom and doom, horrific thing that everyone's terrified of,
but it's really important to stay safe and take the
right precautions. And they actually had somebody on the news

(01:39:31):
in New York who tested negative after the fact as well,
after she had it, and they were saying on the
news here the same thing that you that can that
will happen, you know, hopefully if you have it and
then you test negative once you don't have it. So
that's a good thing. Perfect. Well, I'm glad we had
her on. That was Kaylin. If you listen to our
our on demand channel later you can hear that interview

(01:39:52):
as well. I think I don't know if do we
still do that? Excellent. Let's get us into sound with Garrett.
Garrett is a lot of stuff today. Hi, Garrett Online
twenty one. I believe, good morning. How are you doing?
You're good? I'm awesome. Yes, we do do an on
demand show, so about like right after the show you
can listen to the entire thing right after on our

(01:40:14):
iHeartRadio app. So all right, perfect, all right? What now
do you have today? Garrett? All right, let's start with
this so Ciri can now help you out to determine
if you have the coronavirus before you call a doctor.
So this is what happens when you say, sirie do
how do I know if I have the coronavirus? If
you're worried you might have coronavirus. A few yes or

(01:40:35):
no questions can help you understand your situation. Ready to begin? Yes, okay,
do you have any of the following fever, dry cough,
or shortness of breath? No? Have you been in close
contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus? No? Not
that I know of. You may be at lower risk

(01:40:56):
for coronavirus right now, but symptoms such as fever, dry cough,
or shortness of breath, wash your hands regularly for twenty seconds,
and avoid close contact with people outside your household. For
more information, visit the CDC's website. Thank you, sir, it
was great. Okay, all right? What if can you imagine

(01:41:17):
like she's like you, you have coronavirus? Wait? I want
to hear that, Serry, come back? All right, go ahead, Gary.
Do you want to play the preview from Tiger King
or do you want to leave that for later? Oh? No,
If you aren't watching Tiger King on Netflix, oh, you're
missing out on a way to make you feel better
about yourself. That's all I can say. Seriously, you think

(01:41:40):
you're screwed, If you think you're a wreck, wait till
you watch Tiger King. Okay, go ahead. This is a
small preview from the show. No spoilers, but this is
what it sounds like when you watch Tiger King on Netflix.
They have a hearten thing, a soul in a mind.
I've learned from them. But Carol Laskin hate saying, I
can't leave Tiger If he ever had an animate in
his life, it was Carol basking are you cool? Cats

(01:42:00):
and kittens? It's Carol a big cat rescue. Carol is
the mother Teresa of cats three will and the private
possession of these cats. This is my way of living.
And nobody's gonna tell me any otherwise. That is nothing
compared to what the show. And you got to watch
the show. Nothing. I didn't realize how many cats are
in Florida, Like, how many people have private dues with

(01:42:23):
all these big cats in it. Yeah, all right, we
have a lot of listeners, and we have a lot
of listeners in Oklahoma saying, please understand, we're not all
like that in Oklahoma. We know that. Ahead, Let's talk
about some happy news. So before that New York was
told to stay inside. Over the weekend, a couple got
married on the streets of New York City where their

(01:42:44):
minister was four stories up in an apartment building. You
a man, wheeler, declared Riley Jennings. To take a man yourself.

(01:43:08):
I did. Wow. Look that's awesome all right. Now since
now since there hasn't been any sports on anywhere except

(01:43:29):
for like ESPN eight. I watched rock throwing the other day,
not interesting at all, but NASCAR decided, Yeah it was
NASCAR decided to do a virtual race. Uh. And this
is what it sound like. It was on FS one
Hill and third Bristol for Smith Flee fifth. Here they
come off the corner for the final time. They all

(01:43:49):
but come together and the winner is Hamlin. Wow, what
a finish. So Denny Hamlin won. And this is how
it's all said. Up. All these drivers actually have like
these virtual reality race cars in front of them in
their homes, so they're actually racing each other, but they're
not actual in real cars like Super Mario Brothers. Yeah,

(01:44:13):
it's kind of like Super Mario Brothers, but it's the
mush the mushrooms, all right. So I gotta I gotta
give a shout out to Michael on Instagram. He did this, Uh,
he sent me this video. He goes can you believe this? This,
this actually exists. Walruses can whistle, really whistling walruses. Oh,

(01:44:36):
oh my god, that's beautiful. But it's a walrus. It's
a new thing to say if you're mad. Oh, whistling walruses.
I had no ideas. I had no idea. Walruses can whistle.
And then Elvis, do you want to play that song here?
Or do you want to hold off on that? Oh?
I'm gonna hold off on that because we have to

(01:44:56):
take it right because wait, do you hear this? It's
a duet with Danielle and Gandhi and but you have
to hear the story behind it, because when did we
do a duett? Didn't you do it? Weren't you a
part of the show? The song we're recording yesterday? Oh
that wasn't supposed to be a duett? How did that
it is now? Donny Story Morning Show Production. Oh well,

(01:45:21):
well something happened, all right. Will you'll hear that next?
You gotta hear this, Garrett, thank you so much. You're
a good American and have a great day to stay safe, okay,
and we love you too. Danielle coming up, you have
your Danielle Report next break, What do you have coming in? Yes,
we'll talk about Rose O'Donnell raising a lot of money
in Queen Elizabeth brushing up on technology, Yes she is.

(01:45:42):
Let's get into the three things you need to know
from Ghandi Gandi. What's going on right now? So many
things going on. About seventy five million Americans now being
asked to stay at home to help stop the rapid
spread of COVID nineteen, and we know that that's the
best thing we can do to fight it. This includes
us here in New York City, all of California, and
lots of other areas who can hear our voices right now.
So if you're staying home, we thank you for that.

(01:46:04):
Like we said, best way to flatten the curve. So
far around the globe we are at over three hundred
and thirty five thousand cases, with China about eighty thousand,
Italy about sixty thousand, and the US in third with
thirty three thousand. If you're waiting on those stimulus checks,
are gonna be waiting a little bit longer. The trillion
dollar bill did not get enough votes yesterday. Were you waiting, Elvis? Well, no,

(01:46:25):
I don't. I don't think I'm getting one, but they
should venmo that. Why do people still write it? Yes,
people still write the checks, but they couldn't come to
an agreement the votes. They didn't get enough votes for
it to happen. The measure would provide checks of twelve
hundred dollars to most individuals more if you have a
child in the family. Members of Congress are saying they
don't like the wording. It is not dead, it's just

(01:46:45):
got to be retooled. So we'll get some more updates
as the day goes on with that. And finally, we've
been saying that this is the good news you need
if you're looking for a dance party club. Quarantine exists,
and it happened on Saturday and Sunday. DJ d Nice
launched it on Instagram Live. He's basically DJing from his
apartment almost all day long. Different celebrities popping in Rihanna,
Kerry Washington, Diddy, Jamie Fox, maybe Elvis Durran later. I

(01:47:09):
don't know dj D Nice's Instagram page. Click on the
little Instagram live part and you'll be able to play along,
dance along, whatever you want to do, just kill some time.
Not a celebrity I'm not a celebrity. I'm gonna be
like in the background watching the real celebrities. But I
will tell you over the weekend, I put this on
my Instagram. Uh there's some there's some uh fan page

(01:47:31):
or something people that listen to our show that talk
about us. I don't I'm not familiar with it. But
they sent me a screenshot where someone was at the
Walmart this weekend and they overhurt someone else having a
conversation about me being in bad condition and in intensive
care in a hospital. Why talking about me at the Walmart?

(01:47:52):
And that's how you the Walmarts. I've officially made it.
Uh so No, I'm not an intense of care. I'm
doing great knock on that's called wood. But I love that.
I love that people went to the Walmart and they
had a conversation about yours. Truly, I feel just blessed, blest.
This isn't incredible they cared with that said, Uh yeah,

(01:48:14):
Gandhi and Danielle seeing the hits that and more stuff
with Danielle's report coming up right after this show. Text
us standard Dana and messaging rates may apply. It's Delvi
Sturrand in the Morning Show you know what, We've been

(01:48:36):
receiving a lot of great texts. At fifty five one
hundred to day. One of my favorites, Elvis, please remind
people not to be dickheads. People are just rude out there.
Everyone's on edge, b F and nice people. I could
not agree more. Yeah, don't be ahead anyway, Let's get

(01:48:57):
into the Danielle Report and then if if you don't
go too long, and if I have time here, Danielle,
I'm gonna play the music with you and Gandhi and
whoever else has made it on this track, then I
think I'm gonna keep going. Nutstock and almos on background
vocals from Justin Timberlake and Garrett. All right, So, Rosie

(01:49:17):
O'Donnell her show returned, a three hour live streaming talk show.
She raised over half a million dollars for the actors
Fun because entertainers are finding themselves out of work due
to the coronavirus. Neil Patrick, Harris, Lynn, Manuel, Miranda, Jesse,
Tella Ferguson, Sarah Jessica Parker and Moore showed up a
lot of people send video messages. In ten minutes. She
raised over sixteen thousand dollars. So she was doing her part. Yeah,

(01:49:40):
Queen Elizabeth is brushing up on technology. She is doing
FaceTime in Skype. I'm sorry, but you know I'm here
on FaceTime. It's I can see her. Hello friends. I
need to get in touch with Prince Charles. I don't
understand how what is wee fee. She's urging people to

(01:50:03):
change their normal routines, which is very good. RuPaul's drag Race.
They're gonna do a digital festival. Go to stage its
dot com to get all the info. I think it's
like ten bucks per household if you want to get
involved with that. Kelly Clarkson, she is in her cabin
in Montana and the plumbing froze, so she had a pee.
She said, she used her toddler's potty and she said
it's all good. And Lionel Richie said that this is

(01:50:26):
the time we need to do we are the World,
she said. He said, remember back in the day when
we are the World came together. We should do it again.
So who knows, maybe they're gonna get together and do
it again. We're all loving Tiger King on Netflix. I
don't know if you've seen it, but if you haven't,
it is fantastic and we're all loving it. I just
finished The Stranger, which I love, and put this on

(01:50:47):
your calendar because Friday it's all about Ozark. Don't call
my house because I'm not gonna be answered. Yeah. Yeah,
I'm not gonna bother you because I'll be watching Ozark
as well. I'm so excited. Apparently it's my early birthday present.
I'm very excited. Happy birthday. Yeah. Hey, look, okay, so
here's the thing. The Empire State Building in New York
City maybe you've heard of it, big building. They have

(01:51:07):
this incredible light show that happens at the top of
the building and they can they can actually set it
to music. Right, So we are working on an agreement
with the Empire State Building. Hopefully this is going to
go through where we can play a song on our
station's E one hundred and then everyone in New York
who can see the Empire State Building can listen to
the song and watch the Empire State Building do it's
magic show. Right, It's it's magical light show, and so

(01:51:29):
we thought we would add another level to that. Just
like they do in Italy every night they all go
out into their balconies and sing to each other. We
thought we would have listeners send in them singing songs
and we would add it to this virtual karaoke song,
play it on ZE one hundred in the light show
would happen. Okay, So in order to kick this off,
we were going to do a song from justin timber Lake.
We were going to use us in our voices as examples.

(01:51:53):
Danielle and Gandhi and Garrett sent there. Zen Mine didn't
make it in time, but I did record my version
of the song, and here's a piece of what it
sounds like. Here we go, listen to this, play one
of my favorite songs. Let's see how we can make
it better. Oh jeezus, I've got this feeling inside my bones.

(01:52:15):
It goes electric, baby when I turn it on. This
is awesome. My citting through my home, ing up no
ceiling when we're in our zone. I got that sunshine
in my pocket, got that good song in my feet.
I feel that hot blood in my body. Chops, I

(01:52:37):
can't sing phenomenally, rockets and under the rights, when everything
goes no where to h when I'm getting your clothes,
when we move where you already know, so just imagine

(01:52:59):
just ala nothing I can see when you dance, dance, dance,
I love it. Isn't that great? Isn't that awesome? Danielle

(01:53:23):
Garrett and even justin timber Lake, Congratulations, great job. I'm
so glad. I'm so happy my my voice tracks didn't
make it in time. I was sitting down to do
it when the email came through that we didn't need
to do it any longer. I'm like, oh, I'm glad
I didn't do that. Yeah, we just got left out

(01:53:45):
on a ledge like Danielle and I dance party for two.
I was like, what's that been? So phenomenally room unlock
the way we rock it? So don't stop, all right? Okay, Uh,
there's Nate in the other room wearing a mask and
jumping up and down. We got to take a break.
We'll be back after this in the morning show. Oh

(01:54:12):
my god, the show. Wow, what a day we made it.
You know, Monday morning, you know what Mondays are usually like,
oh god, what do we do? Well? We actually came
in with a plan just try to make the microphones work,
and it did. They worked. This has been been a
fun show. And uh, look, no matter where you are,

(01:54:35):
no matter what you're doing, you can put on your
own show. Just don't leave it up to us. Every morning,
reach out to your friends, use your FaceTime, go, go
on your Instagram live you know, good, on to zoom
and have some have some interaction with your friends today
and you'd be surprised. You'd be surprised how much fun
you have. Have That's what we do. We get pages
to come in here and have fun. This is the
weirdest thing. These are serious. It is awesome. These are

(01:54:57):
very serious times. I don't think that we're we're laughing
in the face of the challenges that are coming our way,
because no, you know, we're scared too. We're we're nervous too. Yeah, GONDI,
what's up? But okay? So I just got a text message.
The text message forwarded from a friend and her sister said,
I actually really like listening to Elvis Duran's show because
they're sharing information that's important but not scaring me like

(01:55:19):
all the other news outlets are. So I think it's
important that we keep doing that. Scary Do you have
our friend ready to go? And now Cardi B News
news cast Here Cardi B with the news. Here we go.

(01:55:39):
Thank you, Cardi B. All Right, okay too much. I
think one thing we actually learned about today, out of
all the things we've learned about today, as we get
into the three things you need to know, you gotta
be watching uh Tiger King on Netflix. I think that's yes.
Please anyway, I'm hearing me coming back at me. I

(01:56:02):
don't know what the problem is. I was coming back
at me too. See someone's speaker is on somewhere. Let's
get into the three things you need to know, and
we'll try to fix it. Gandhi, you're up the bat.
What's going on all right? A lot of things happening
right now, and that includes about seventy five million Americans
waking up to a new reality today. From New York

(01:56:22):
City to Washington to California. A lot of people are
sheltering in place that includes us. You can call it
a lockdown, a temporary pause, whatever, but everybody is being
asked to please stay home because that's going to help
us stop the spread of this virus. And that is
the most important thing that we can do right now.
Social distancing very very important here in the US. The
number of cases has now topped thirty five thousand, with

(01:56:43):
nearly five hundred deaths, and yes, the recovery rate is
actually doing much better than that right now, but we
want to squash it. We want to flatten that curve.
So stay home if you can. We were talking about
these and ninety five masks earlier today, so if you
don't know what's going on, here's the deal. And ninety
five masks really are only effective they are fitted to
your face, So just individuals walking around and having them,

(01:57:03):
it's not going to do you much good, but it
is going to do a lot of good for the
medical professionals who need it. So if you have some,
please donate them to your hospitals or people who are
able to actually use them the way they need to
be used. Right now, we have designers making them Christian Siriano,
Michael Costello and at Elvis Durand dot com. If you
have a sewing machine at home and some fabric in
your board, you can make the masks yourself as well.

(01:57:25):
We have a pattern at Elvistoran dot com. Like I said,
and finally, the NFL draft still on, but no one
knows how it's actually going to go down. We just
know it's not going to happen in Vegas and there's
not going to be a big meeting of people. So far,
the league hasn't said what they're gonna do, but we're
hearing that the draft might be a studio show with
some cut ins to different teams headquarters. It's still going
to be happening April twenty third through April twenty fifth,

(01:57:46):
So as soon as we figure out how you'll be
able to watch it, we'll let you know. And those
are your three things. Thank you, gandhi. All right, a
phone tap from Garrett just for you coming up right
after this. This is Aana Grande. Hey, let's up as policy. So, guys,
I'm Khalid with Elvis Dur in the morning, so sponsored
by State farm talk to an agent today about combining

(01:58:06):
your home and auto insurance at one eight hundred State
Farmland Elvis durand phone tap. All right, Well, you know
when it comes to the wedding, a lot of people
get very tense. Oh yeah, so that's what today's phone
taps about. The letter coming in says dear Elvis, I'm
getting married next week to the love of my life.
They're getting married on a beautiful farm by the way. Anyway,

(01:58:29):
Richie goes on to say there's a lot of extra
planning going on, and so my mom, Susan, decided to
take on most of the planning. So why don't we
give her a little phone tap let her know something
isn't right for the wedding on the farm. All right, Richie,
can we hear you? We're gonna phone tap your mom. Susan.
Garrett is going to start the call as the farm
owner to let Susan know that one of their requests

(01:58:49):
couldn't be fulfilled. And let's see how she handles it.
Let's see if mom can hang on that. Richie's gonna
jump in on the call. Here is today's phone tap.
Let's listen in. Hello, Hi, is this Susan. Susan? Hey Susan,
Hey Susan. It's John Potts over on the farm. How
are you? Oh? Hi John. Good to hear from you.

(01:59:10):
All right this weekend? Oh it's great. Yeah. So I
just wanted to run some things by you for Richie's wedding. Okay,
go ahead. So it seems the chairs have arrived. They're
in mint condition. Yes, the grass just got mowed the
other day, so we're all set with that, okay. Um.
The John Deluxe Porta potty that you wanted for the

(01:59:32):
outdoor bathrooms. Um, it seems they're not going to be
able to make it to the wedding on time. Uh
what does that mean? There was an order for this
porta potty system to go to another venue before they
came to the Yeah, they're going to actually be in
two states over and it's going to be impossible for

(01:59:53):
them to get the porter potty from point A to
the wedding on the farm on Saturday. Are you kidding me?
Unfortun this is one are the other options? What are
other options? I mean, this has to happen all the time.
What's another option? I was seeing if we could come
up with some ideas maybe to get around have an idea,
how about how about we get the deluxe porta potty?
How about that idea? This is the only company and

(02:00:14):
all of that has it. Well, this is the only
one that met your specific qualifications for I mean this, Yeah,
because I don't want my guests taking the pot in
the back. That's why people are gonna have gowns on
do you know that? Totally aware of that, and that's
why I'm calling you today to hopefully find out how
we could fix this problem. How are gonna fix this problem?

(02:00:37):
How we're going to fix the problem is you're gonna
give me a part potty. I don't care if you're
gonna get a hammer and some screws and put it
together yourself. That's how it's going to happen. Let's be
a little realistic here. I cannot do that. But so
realistic is that I have a wedding happening on Saturday.
That's the realism here. One thing that me and my
partner were thrown around is have an suv ready to

(02:00:58):
go on standby and shuttle people back and forth to
the next house, shuttled people or got like a poof
show you why no, why are we doing that? I
was important a lot of older relatives. They want to
see their great grandson get married. And if they have
to go to the bathroom, which they do every twenty
minute's just about They're not going to bail down an

(02:01:19):
suv to go take a crack. I want what I
paid for, I want what I said I want. All right,
I will go see what I could do. Okay, I'll
call you back in a little bit. Fine, hey, richie, Yes,
we're going to call her back and you're going to
talk to her. Okay, Hey, hey, mom, I just spoke

(02:01:41):
to the director over at the farm and he's telling
me that they are not going to be able to
get the deluxe trailer bathroom facilities. And they just called
and said that they accidentally rented it out to somewhere
else in Pennsylvania or something they said. And they're telling
me that we aren't going to have it. No quarter money,

(02:02:04):
the luck right right? No, all right? And you want
to know what, Elsie, Oh, the baby's crying. You want
to what else he told me? He so, he told
me that the guy's going to be taking people from
SUV's over to the big house to go potty. That's
what he told me. Hell, what's tacking a mom that?
I don't think that that's that bad of an idea.
If that's all we can do, if that's the best
we can do, then that's what we should do. That

(02:02:26):
can't happen. Can you imagine Aunt bar Rand? How often
does she go to the bathroom at Christmas? All the time?
She does go to the bathroom a lot. But I
think I think that what they've got is what we're
gonna have to take. No, this can't you up in
this way? Mom? What you just got? Phone taps? What? Hey, Susan,
my name is Garret from Elvis Durrand in the Morning Show.

(02:02:47):
And your son Richie wanted to play a phone tap
on you about the wedding. Oh phone tap? Did you
want your mother to have a hard tax before the wedding? Susan?
What do you got to say to your son Richie?
I want to ring his neck. That's what I have
to say. I love the crapper, take a crap in
the bar. Tab was pre recorded. We permission granted by

(02:03:09):
all participants. Elvis duran Felon Tad Elvis Durand in the
Morning Show. Text US standard data and messaging rates may apply.
It's Elvis Durand in the Morning Show. Oh love that
we are so multifunctional. We just recorded our fifteen minute
morning show podcast, so it's back. You know, people were

(02:03:29):
complaining that we didn't have one, So it's back as
of today. And I found that a lot of fun.
That was good. Guys. Yeah, I forgot to record. You
didn't hit recording. Oh dang it, Froggy got a froggy.
Oh my god. All right, we do have a little
bit of time here to get into the three things

(02:03:51):
we need to know from Gandhi. Gandhi, what is going
on right now? Hello? All right, we've been talking about this,
but seventy five million Americans are waking up to something
a little different today. We're all sheltering in place as
best as we can. That is the best way we're
going to flatten this curve and get over it. So, yes,
a temporary inconvenience is going to be better in the
long run for everybody if you can stay at home.

(02:04:12):
Stay at home. So far in the world over three
hundred and thirty cases now confirmed of the coronavirus, and
then the US about thirty five thousand here with five
hundred people passing away, So we really want to stop this.
Elvis was looking out the window earlier and said he
saw some snow, and that's because there's a lot of
snow coming this way from Iowa to New England. We
are supposed to get one to ten inches depending on

(02:04:33):
where you are. So the good news is maybe that'll
help people stay in a little bit because roads will
be bad, and who wants to go out and crap
these snowstorms? Not me? And finally, COVID nineteen helping to
raise some overtime pay for Amazon workers. We were talking
earlier about how everyone's ordering things online now and everything
is still coming to your house, So let's pay the
people that are making it happen. Between March fifteenth and

(02:04:54):
May ninth, people are going to get double time, so
it's going to go back a couple days, and they
expect it to, like I just said, till May ninth.
We know that Amazon is handling a lot more orders
with everybody being home. So if you're one of them,
thank your Amazon employee, and those are your three things.
Thank you, Gandhi. We're back with a final goodbye after
this Dallas Elvis Duran, God, what is it with these people?
