Speaker 1 (00:03):
Starting Morning Show open testimonials. I love it. I love
how funny they are so funny. He's always humor. It
makes me happy. Microphone check. We need to talk, so lady,
(00:24):
Uncle Johnny counting down. Fine, We're just gonna have fun
and party. Let's have a show. Elvis Duran in the
Morning Show. Oh my god, and here we go. Hey,
welcome to Monday. Hey, oh god, another day where I'm
(00:47):
late for work in my own house. Okay, sorry about that.
Welcome to Monday. I guess we all survived the weekend?
Is Gandhi here gone? Hi? Am here? Danielle, I hear you,
liken In. I know you're here? Straight eight? Are you here? Oh? Well,
the froggy you made it? Hello? Hello, Scary's here. I'm here,
(01:08):
and there's a Scottie b and producer Sam's in the house.
Is diamond In? Yeah, honey, I am so so blind
right now. Don't you need traffic on the staircase? Yes?
I did. We had some build up on the staircase. Anyway, Well,
I'm glad we survived the weekend. We need a song
to start the show with. What are we thinking? How
(01:28):
about blow me one last kiss? Oh? No, um, Okay,
let's do it. Come on, Oh oh, okay, play it?
Blow me. I mean I love being told what to do?
You know what I'm saying. Welcome to Monday. Let's try
(01:48):
to get this mess together. What a great idea of
starting the show with paint? We love paink Whose idea
was that? Scary? Why? Why do you think of paint today?
I want her to mind because I heard I heard
Pink over the weekend and I was looking through her
catalog and I heard so many of her songs. We
could like play them all and we will be like,
we'll be reminiscent. Okay, we will be reminiscent. Absolutely. Thank you. Hey,
(02:12):
our first caller of the day Savannah from Lynchburg, Virginia.
She just listened to her Well, good morning, so you
you just well, Halla, Laddy, So you just listen to
our Lizzo interview from Friday. How much do you love?
I was literally just I just had it on the
replay and I love her so much. And you guys
are y'all best friends? Best friend you see? You know what?
(02:35):
Something tells me you Savannah and Lizzo have something in common.
It's just right right out of the shoot. Even if
you don't know each other, you feel like you do
because you seem so warm and so wonderful. And Lizzo
is the same way. She makes everyone feel like a
best friend. We love listen. Yeah, like we were best
friends and I was listening to it too, so we
have a three way best friend triangle. Yeah. Well, look, Savannah,
(02:56):
how was your weekend? It was good. I worked. I'm
I'm a waitress, but I'm also a teacher, so I'm
like doing a double time. But it was good. I
had a good time. You know what, you gotta be honest,
be honest with this. Isn't being a waitress sort of
like being a teacher, and being a teacher sort of
like being a waitress or something. Oh yeah, everybody's kind
of like yelling at you. Little kids yelling at you,
(03:18):
but then grown adults yelling at YouTube the same. Absolutely,
sometimes I think the kids are better than the adults.
But Savannah, it's a pleasure to meet you, and I'm
so glad you had a great weekend, and we're very
honored to have you as our first caller of the day.
We're going to send you some Elvis Drain Morning Show
scrubs from hackers like Meridian. They're on the way. Thank you.
(03:39):
Y'all have an awesome day. No, you have an awesome day.
No you you? Hold on, Savannah, hold on one second.
How great is that? A teacher and a waitress. At
least as a waitress, she can dump drinks on people
by accident. Well I had a teacher that used to
do that too. She have cocktails and poort of honest
(04:00):
wait away. Welcome to the day. I hope you all
had a good weekend. I'm you know, as the show progresses,
I'm going to ask each and every one of you
how your weekend was. We'll get into that in a minute,
but let's start with our three things we need to know.
So much going on. Where do you want to start?
I mean we're to start exactly. I don't know where
to start, so you take it, all right. The Taliban
has taken control of the Afghanistan government after making their
(04:21):
way into the capital city of Kabul on Sunday. The
American embassy has been moved to Kabul's airport, which is
protected by US troops. Thousands of Afghans have gathered gathered
on the tarmac at the airport in a rush to
escape the country. There's video making rounds on social media.
I'm sure a lot of people have seen it, showing
large crowds, including women and children, just streaming toward passenger aircrafts.
(04:43):
The Taliban took over yesterday after Afghan President Ashraf Ghani
fled the country to as he says, prevent a flood
of bloodshed. It's getting crazy over there. Hospitals in Haiti
are struggling to keep up with the fifty seven hundred
people hurt in Saturday's seven point to earth quake. Some
centers have run out of space, with others treating patients
(05:03):
underneath trees and on the sides of the road. Officials
are rushing to bring doctors to the worst hit areas
before a major storm hits today. The death toll is
up to nearly thirteen hundred, but expected to rise. More
than thirteen thousand homes have been destroyed. How can we help?
United Way Always, United Way and Red Cross? Of course,
those are the two that are big right now helping
(05:25):
them and I will put together a list and we
can post it on the Elvis d RAN's show Instagram
page as well if people are wanting to see that.
And finally, children are becoming a fast growing target of COVID.
The director of the National Institutes of Health say the
Delta variant is putting kids in the hospital at a
staggering rate. Doctor Francis Collins told Fox News that masks
are life saving devices and every school should require them.
(05:48):
As for booster shots, he says they're not widely available
yet since those vaccinated still have full protection, but he
points out a decision on that will be made soon.
And those are your three things. Wow, so much going
on in the world. We were watching the news yesterday.
I'm thinking, gosh, keeping up with this and you need to.
You need to be informed with what's going on. At
(06:10):
the same time, you need to be able to turn
it off when you need, you know, when you need
a break. But so much happening in this world of
ours right now. Many people heavy, Yeah, very heavy. You
covered it very well, Thank you, Condy. Anyway, we have
a Monday ahead of us. We've got lots of work
to do. You guys ready to get to work? Yeah, yeah, Okay,
here we go. Shawn Mendes Summer of Love Flyaway Your
(06:31):
chance to join Elvis Duran and Shawn Mendes at the
Jersey Shore on August twentieth. It's so beautiful, right, look
at that. Visit Elvis duran dot com now for your
chance to win a trip for two to the Jersey Shore,
complete with VIP tickets to Beach Bash Who's the Summer
of the performances by AGR, Bozzy Tete McCrae, plus the
(06:54):
chance to meet Shawn Mendez. Complete details at Elvis duran
dot com. Oh, I don't want to be too loud.
Why upstairs, Uncle Johnny is sleeping. I don't want to
wake that up. A crazy day yesterday hanging out with friends.
(07:17):
We had a beautiful, beautiful day called the weekend was gorgeous.
Oh yeah, the weather was incredible. It was for us.
I don't know where you're listening round. Oh man, the
sunset up in this area last night was crazy. Dan
Yell got better pictures than I did. Gandhi, you're back
in New York. Yeah, we're Brandon Brandon's um he's back
in Detroit. Still. You know, I know it's a bummer.
(07:39):
We had work. I have work I have to do
this week. So really come for us? Yeah, for us? Really? Yeah?
What are you doing for us? I'm I'm hosting a
charity event tonight with Scary actually at a castle, so
that's right, ohega castle right, yes, ye, famous castle yep.
And then Friday we have a big event, so you
know how to come back and get that life. Wait,
(08:01):
look at this sunset, Alvis, you're ready? Look at this?
Oh wow? As I was driving, well, my mom was driving. Actually,
where'd you go this weekend? Danielle? Ah? So I my
nephew came down and he spent the weekend with us,
which was awesome, and then we had a little graduation
party for him yesterday up at my brother's house. Was awesome. Yeah, gandhi,
(08:21):
your weekend was nice. Oh, my weekend was awesome. I
saw Dave Chappelle. How was he? It was so good,
And some idiot I believe ruined it at the end
because he has a very very strict role about not
heckling and not trying to interact with him while he's
on stage, and he was telling a really heartfelt story
about a transgender friend of his who had committed suicide,
(08:43):
and this person started laughing in the balcony in the
middle of it. Now, mind you, this is also being
filmed for Netflix, and he stopped what he was doing
and kind of went off at this person and chastised them.
Then he dropped the mic and walked off the stage,
and I was like, wow, so wait, he didn't finish
the story. He finished the story, but right as soon
as he yelled at this person, he was done. And
(09:05):
I'm like, me, Wow, what an ass? What an ass?
I mean, that's basically what Dave Chappelle said. He was like,
you're empty inside. If you can laugh at something like that,
there's something wrong with you. Theory, what is wrong with you? Yeah,
it was really sad, but it was up until then,
it was amazing, like bucket list stuff. It was great.
Brandon had the best time. It was wonderful, a wonderful
We'll ever see that footage, I'm sure. I'm sure for
(09:26):
the I'm hoping for the Netflix Netflix special, they'll just
cut that out. I'm sure that they will. Because they
were filming for three days while he was there, so wow,
I'm sure the other days ended better than that one,
but it was. It was great to see him and
he's so funny and I just love him. Froggy, how
was your weekend? Good? It was a good weekend. Yes,
I got some adulting things done, and then I got
some relaxing in as well. Froggy, you know what he did.
(09:49):
He refurbished two toilets. Oh yeah, there was. There was
at one of the toilets in my house. It was
like running all the time. You couldn't get it to
stop running. There was something wrong with the insides. So
I completely took the toilet apart. I went to home depot,
I bought all new parts that I needed. I put
it all back together and they work so perfect. Now,
(10:09):
my family, this is the highlight. Everybody will say, Oh Dad,
the toilet flush is so nicely. It feels quietly, and
it feels quick. Wow. Wow, I love that. Everybody's excited
in the house. Everybody. Can you imagine being excited because
we have not one, but two new refurbished toilets. Right, wow,
(10:30):
the refurbishing a toilet. Would anyone else on the show
try to do that? No, Nate would try it, but
it would be a major failure. Oh come on, please
all right, producer Sam, good morning, good morning. Who you
doing your horsecopes? Swich? How about Gandhi today? Okay, Gandhi
up for I'm up for it. If you are celebrating
(10:53):
a birthday. Today, you celebrate with Steve Carrell, love him,
Angela Bassett, and your best friend Madonna. It's her birthday
today as well. She was so mean to me. You know.
I love her music. She is a queen. We love you, Madonna,
but not really. Oh my god, Capricorn, too many distractions
(11:15):
could take hold and pull you away from an important task.
Your day is a seven Aquarius. You're a good listener,

(12:20):
birthday now, said mcdonna, Maderna, have your birthday, Maderna? Uh
Danielle's first report of the week on the way, what
do you have coming up? What does Matthew McConnaughey smell like?
Well talk bath? Is he one of those people who
doesn't made Apparently he's not the deodorant wearing dyke. I've smelled.
I've smelled him myself. You sniffed him, not on purpose,
(12:40):
it just it approached me. The smell apprisation. That's Wilson
because these people say it's nice. So we'll we'll all
right a live report about that and more things up
after this. In the course of an hour, we just
good morning show. So with more of our lives being
connected over the internet, I mean a lot of your
(13:02):
personal data already exists online. As you know, you need
to be vigilant. Be vigilant and how you share your
information and help manage your digital identity, avoid phishing scams,
changing your passwords. You got to change your passwords, and
you got to use those two factor authentification. Often I
can't say that word authentication is yeah, you gotta protect yourself.
(13:24):
In other words, you put your info out there in
so many places online. Unfortunately, cyber criminals are smart. They're
going to find new ways to steal your identity. That's
why we love the only one protection of Norton three
sixty with LifeLock, making it easy to have protection in
this crazy digital world of ours. Device security helps block
cyber criminals from stealing your info. VPN with bank grade

to potential threats. Look, no one can prevent all cyber
crime and identity theft, but you have extra extra protection
if use Norton three sixty with LifeLock. Like we do.

save up to twenty five percent or more if your

That's twenty five percent off for an entire year. You
need it, go try it Norton dot com slash Elvis.
Anyone else Guess correctly about whether we were on or
off on Friday? Answer? Look, you know, we we did
(14:30):
an entire show Friday. It was all prerecorded, and we
took the day off, and most people don't even know it.
I couldn't even I shouldn't even said anything, because you know,
it was because I was listening to a lot of
it and it was so seamless. It sounded like a
great show. I'm like, oh my god, this is a
good show. Yeah, it's even better if I'm not on it.
But I mean, we're all on it, but we you know. Anyway, Look, look,
(14:55):
you know, there are a lot of times sometimes we
have to take a day here or there or whatever reason.
And we took Friday off, but we were on Nate.
Do you stink today? Why are you sing? Do you
smell that? Well? It smells like sewer in here sometimes? Yeah,
you know what you guys are in the studio in Manhattan. Yeah,
(15:15):
you know what that is. That building is built on
an old creek bed. Yeah, so we'll get mosquitoes in
the dead of winter in that place, and then it
smells like someone took a crap in the corner. Nate's
first instinct was to sniff his armit in case perhaps
that's what smells like sewage. Well, a lot of times
it is me, so it is damn then ye know
(15:38):
he's stinky. Nate is stinky. Boy. That's bad. Anyway, So
we were all Friday and so some people were kind
of trolling and going, I know you're not there. We
know you're not well you know what, Okay, we had
a good show. That's all that matters, right right, that's
all that matters. What Nate, I have some tips for you, tips, yeah,
to to sound like we're actually there. You know, we
can't rEFInd this, we could, we might not actually be
(16:00):
live right now. But you need to be more agitated, Elvis,
because when we're doing the show live, you're like, oh,
I'm not breaking, I'm not taking a break. Now. You
need to throw that in there. Similar Okay, is that
what Seacrest does when he's not live, because he's never lived.
Ryan Seacrest hasn't done a live show, and how many
(16:22):
how many years I would live? The thing is is
he's a master at it. Yeah, Ryan Seacrest is the
best at sounding live when he's not. We're not good
at it here because we don't do it a lot.
I thought he was live too. No, I don't even
think he is alive. I don't think Ryan Seacrest. I mean,
(16:45):
if you've ever seen if you've been to Disney World
where they have the Hall of Presidents, Yeah, the the
what do they call them? The atronics? That's Ryan Seacrest
on that show every day with Kathie Lee Kelly. Anyway,
so I think I don't know. If I don't know
if Secress is a real human being, I think I
(17:05):
think it's all animatronics. Oh my gosh. Anyway, we're not
slick enough to do totally convince everyone that we're recorded.
One day we will be. We're just learning, we're learning
the tricks we are. Anyway, Well, welcome back to New York, Gandhi.
Is it going to be back or do you miss
your boyfriend? What's going on? Oh? Of course I miss
(17:25):
my boyfriend. It is good to be back, though. I
mean yesterday I was trying to take a nap and
I couldn't because it was so freaking loud outside. So
I went to see what was going on. Puerto Rican
Day Parade right outside my door. Oh yeah, A lot
of people run from the Puerto Rican Day Parade because
it's such a festive event. I love the Puerto Rican
Day Parade and I'm so sad I missed it this year.
(17:46):
Oh first thing I did, I was like, put my
mask on, let me go wander around and look for food.
And all of the lines were so long, but they
had Puerto Rican barbecue out there. And then I wanted
to get roasted corn, and people started yelling at me
on my Instagram story roasted corn is not Porto Rican.
I don't care. It was that the Puerto Rican Parade.
I want to eat it, exactly, yelling roasted corn. Leave
(18:08):
her alone. Remember one year, we were stuck on the
west side of Highway and it was it was a
Puerto Rican Day parade and the traffic was not moving
and there's a little park right next to the Hudson River,
so we just exited off into the park and we
parted with our Puerto Rican friends for hours. Yeah, we
were there till the sun went down. It was the
best day ever. Exactly. You can't beat them, join them.
I'm going to be part of this too. I can't
(18:29):
so much pride, you know, we love our Puerto Rican friends.
Now moving on to our friends from Haiti. What a weekend, uh,
you know, straight, Nate and I actually flew into Haiti
um to why were we there there for? We want
to visit some hospitals. Yeah, we went to hospitals to
visit with mothers and their their newborns and newborn babies
(18:51):
rather and uh, it was an interesting interesting trip to
see how after that they were still trying to recover
over the last the last earthquake, right, but you know what,
there was so much pride, so much love in the streets,
and you know, and then we got the news over
the weekend of this new earthquake that that happened, and
it's like, oh god, these people, how much can they take?
(19:14):
And our friend Amy from the Bobby Bones show her
daughter that's her birthplace, that same area. So it was
very very hard for them yesterday watching all this go down.
You use that word resilient and resilience gosh, I mean,
how much resilience can you can you have and possess
(19:34):
when you're you're hit over and over and over again.
So look, if you have family or friends there, um,
just know that we're thinking about you and all the best.
If you want to help out, you and a SEF
and Red Cross, United Way right absolutely, and United Way
actually teamed up with an organization in Miami and they're
(19:56):
teaming up calling it Operation Helping Hands. You can donate
to both to those causes. United Way Miami dot org
also excellent. All right, Danielle, you ready to go? Yes?
Where do you want to start? Well, since Nate was
smelling his pits, why don't we start with Matthew McConaughey
and how he smells stinky boy stories. Yeah, this is
(20:16):
a new thing. You know that with celebrities it's like
do I shower? Don't I shower? Do I just do
the holes and souls? Like? What do I do? So No,
Matthew McConaughey never wears the odor in her cologne. But
apparently this is according to someone who worked with him,
he Vet Nicole Brown, who worked on a movie with him.
She says, he smells like granola and good living. He
has a sweet, sweet scent. That's just him. It's not
(20:39):
musty or crazy. So, Gandhi, I know you said you
got a whip up him once. Do you agree with
this statement? So I'm gonna start by saying, I love
Matthew McConaughey. So I don't want to say this, but
the one time that I interviewed him, and it was
only one time, he was hammered, he had clearly been partying.
And I'm positive there was vomit on his shirt. Domination
(21:00):
of like puke, alcohol and a little bit of bo
sounds like my kind of guy. Jeez. Maybe if he
was sober, he would have smelt a lot better. Maybe.
So over the weekend, we learned that Britney Spears' dad was,
you know, supposed to step down as her concervator. And
she said, I'll believe it when I see it. She said,
(21:22):
it's been so long that this should be happening. She says,
I wish that he could just be out of a
job right away, but that's not how it works. There's
a lot of things that go into it. It's a
long process, but she says she will believe it all
when she sees it, So it's just going to be
a wait and see process. J Lo she has finally
made her breakup with a Rod totally complete. How does
that happen? Well, she wiped him off of her Instagram
(21:44):
and she would have followed him, and I'm like, let
me tell you, I was trolling. I'm like, great, you
checking her followers and yes, who's following? And she's following
and yes, apparently she wasn't able to get rid of
all the traces of a Rod on her Instagram TV videos,
But she did a damn good job, let me tell you.
And he still follows her, by the way, and he
(22:05):
still has pictures of her. Do you feel she did? It?
Was Jlo sitting at home all night like scrubbing a
Rod out of her or she's like, here my phone,
get rid of it. Yeah, she has a team, She's
get rid of a Rod team. So one day after
a judge up held Kelly Clarkson's pren up with her
a strange husband, she headed to Vegas. She was with
(22:26):
two girlfriends to see George Straiton concert and she was
so excited her So she's so excited her prenup gets
to stay. He's not going to get more money than
he's entitled too, so that's pretty awesome for her. Uh,
let's talk about Billie Eilish spending her second week at
number one, happier than ever, number one on the Billboard
two hundred album chart for another week. Congratulations. There another
tailor set fan busted trying to get into her New
(22:48):
York City apartment. She wasn't home, thankfully, and of course,
um you know they got to the person who for
the person even got close to Taylor, so that's good.
And Ryan Reynolds movie Free Guy. So they thought this
movie was gonna make like maybe fifteen to nineteen million.
It made twenty eight point four million dollars. It beats
Suicide Squad. They're saying it was word of mouth. It
(23:11):
got an amazing score ninety five percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
It had an A on Cinema score, and I know
a lot of people on the show thought, I know,
Sam saw it and people were saying it was so good.
So I don't know where of mouth works. HBO Max
to Night season three of Hard You've Got Bachelor in Paradise.
This season premiere there and American Nju Warrior is on
next hour. We got to talk about Lizzo. People just
need to leave her alone. Love her. Yep. God, what
(23:34):
a great week. And she was supposed to have for
the release of her new song with cardib and a
bunch of trolls online messed with her. Leave her alone? Yea. Also,
it's something interesting you're talking about Kelly Clarkson and her divorce. Yeah, Brandon.
The thing is, you know, here's look, we don't know Kelly.
We've met her, we're friends, were friendly with her, and
(23:54):
the same with Brandon, her ex husband. It's like, I
don't know, you know, it's like you just we don't
really know the details on the like why they are
no longer together. But I mean you're like, you're saying,
good for her, she got what about it? Am, What
did he do? He's got money. He's good money too.
(24:15):
The money her income during their seven year marriage will
not be uh like resegregated or whatever so or segregated.
Is that right? I don't know, Yeah, that's right. Segregated.
You're saying the money that she made while they were together.
What the all of Kelly Clarkson's income during their seven
(24:36):
year marriage will be segregated. Okay, that's what said. Okay,
well all I'm saying business wise, and you know whatever
they signed in a prenup whatever, I get that that
means set apart from each other, isolated or divided. But
at the end of the day, it's still a couple
that was married with kids another divorce. I feel all
(24:57):
for for both of them. I mean, of course you do.
Of course you feel awful for both of them. But
if it's what she says, you know, how he was
fraudulent as her manager and all these things that she
was saying, then you know, I felt really bad for her.
Oh so so there was an issue there. Yeah that, Yeah,
supposedly he acted fraudulently as her manager, and you know
this whole there's a whole lot of stuff that went down. Well,
(25:19):
let's talk about Nate and his fraudulent activity. I kind
of sure you steal from me all the time. No,
you know, I could, but I don't remember. I was
three sides to every story. You're there's in the truth
exactly where in the middle and lies what really happened.
I'm gonna steal from you. I'm gonna steal in front
of you, and I'm gonna walk out with a bodulation.
Done it. You steal from me all the time. You
(25:41):
steal like toast her ovens and stuff. Yeah, oh bottles
a liquor that left here for like eight months, imody,
you're gonna have those. I don't know that. Remember when
I did the accounting and I'm like, hey, I think
they owe you a lot of money. Remember that this
company I help you out, I should get a cut.
The company actually screwed me out of some money that
(26:01):
they owed me, and so we got it, and then
I gave a cut of it to you. That was
another thing that you gave me money. Money's floating around
over here, hundreds of millions. I'll tell you if Elvis,
if Elvis actually kept track, and the money that he's
supposed to be paid eat owned like four Hawaiian islands,
(26:22):
exactly to your accounting. I'm gonna tell you, I heartmedia
owes me money. They are stealing money from me left
and right. I'm convinced. So if we find lost money
of yours, we get a piece. Yes, nice on your
market set. Seriously, I pay to work for this company.
(26:44):
They treat me left and right. You're gonna do a
contest later, and it's money gonna be out of your pocket.
I pay to work here, that exchanges all the money
that we give away, most of it is from your pocket.
I know what kind of deal is this? Okay, Well,
let's get into the field. Good producer, Sam, Good weekend.
I had a great weekend. Yes, I was watching you online. Oh,
(27:05):
I had so much fun. I was rafting in the
Delaware River, but I saw that you guys, we hit
a wave and I got rocked the hill out of
that boat. But I got back in still holding my
beer can that I was shut out with, very proud of. Right.
What do you have today? All right? So a listener,
Nicole Antonopolis, has known Garrett Rogers her entire life, and
(27:26):
she wants me to brag about him a little bit.
So he's only fifteen now, but five years ago he
was playing baseball and was running across the street to
grab a foul ball and he was hit by a car.
So the accident left min a coma with severe brain injury,
and the doctor said he might never walk again. But
Garrett is so amazing that that information just inspired him
(27:47):
way more, and not only did he start walking again,
and playing baseball again, but he decided to give the
middle finger to his diagnosis. Then he started powerlifting, so
he is crushing it. And this kid just won his
first national USPA lifting competition. He is such an impressive dude,
such a hard worker, and he really wants to inspire
other people out there in similar situations. So if you're
(28:09):
on the road to recovery, don't give up. You may
end up really surprising yourself, just like Garrett. And if
you have a story that deserves to be featured just
like this, I freaking love it. Send it over Sam
at elvistran dot com. Subject line feel good, Thank you, Sam.
What's you for dinner? Last night? Beer? Oh my god?
What for dinner? Hops? Your sister's a little shaky this morning.
(28:33):
I'll get through it. By the way, I did not
see the season finale of The White Lotus last night.
Please do not tell me what happened. I'm ran home
to watch that last sections that got me off. I
gotta watch The White Louness. I heard it was pretty amazing.
We have to find out who was in that box.
You know what I'm saying. If you watch it, you
know what I'm saying. I have no idea who's in
that box. We'll find out today. All right, we gotta
(28:53):
take a break. We're back after the show. Right now.
Wendy's get a Dave's single plus another great item for
just a buck Moore. It's Wendy's Bogo one dollar limited
time only. Price and participation may vary at US. Wendy's

(29:16):
You were talking earlier about how Jennifer Lopez has completed
her transition from Alex Rodriguez to Ben Affleck by scrubbing
a Rod from her Instagram. She unfollowed him, and Alex
still has not that I know personally, but I heard
he still has the Jalo picks up on his Instagram.
Supposedly he still follows her and everything. I didn't have
(29:39):
enough time to go check that all out yet, but
I will later. So you really do that, Danielle. I mean,
we're talking about this Friday right or the other day
when we were on whenever that was. We were talking
about how there are people that check other people's Instagram
followers and who they're following to see if there's a
change in their status. Oh yeah, and you do that. Yeah,
well with people like Jlo. Oh when this is a
(30:01):
big thing, it's Jlow. I love my j Loo to
make sure she's okay, but you need to know that.
I need to know. Yeah, I need to know, and
I don't do that. But I'm with you that I
can't see j Low like sitting on the edge of
the bed or sitting somewhere going through her Instagram scanning one. Oh,
got to delete that one, Oh, got to delete that one.
(30:22):
I don't see her doing it. I think she had
somebody to do it for her. Yeah, she hands into
her phone, here's my phone. I don't even think that
happens after they go in there and they swipe it clean.
Does she change her password or does she go back
and check after to make sure every single one is gone?
(30:42):
What do you think, Gandhi, I think you can. I
mean I do totally do the lurk thing where you
stare at someone's page and try to figure out what's
going on. Because, just like our own digital friend Ali
Gold did, you can tell when someone is newly single,
mostly girls, not guys as much when they start to
post super hot photos of themselves that they didn't before.
So it goes from they're all coupled up snuggling with
(31:04):
someone to oh, she's looking hot in that dress. Oh,
full on bikini with a thong. I love it. Then
you know something's gown. Wow. I love how you guys
are so into reading the room by just looking at
their Instagram. Also, if someone passes, I am like like
doing investigations like what was their last tweet? What was
their last Instagram post? And then oh wait, what did
(31:26):
someone else say about them? And oh my gosh, did
this person? Were this person with them right before they done?
Like I need to, I'm doing a whole like my
show should be on Netflix. I feel so disconnected because
I don't do any of that. Good for you for
being a sane human, right. You know? I have Andrew
as my assistant. Is he in today? Do we know
where Andrew is coming? In? Later's coming at later? I'm
(31:47):
gonna have him to start going through my Instagram friends
and giving me an update. Absolutely, Who would you like
him to wipe from your Instagram? Have anyone need I
need to walk anyway? Andrew. By the way, Andrew does
a lot of a lot of deep dives on Instagram,
doesn't he does. He figures out all the t all
(32:10):
of it. He's like, so this person one month ago
today said blah blah blah. He did this last week.
Remember last week he said, hey, guys, these people are
no longer together. We're like, shut up, and we said,
I do you know? And then he told us so
when we know, yeah, yeah, we know. We can't stay
on the air. They may not wanted it, you know
out there? Really? Yeah? What scary? I remember our friend
(32:33):
relationship expert Matthew Hussey. We were friends on Instagram and
then one day I see he unfollowed me, So I
Mike because because I track and he's like this, you
get the unfollowed back. You're good friends with Andrew Hussey.
Matthew Hussey. I mean, why did he drop? Scary? I
(32:56):
think there's some people at once they achieve a certain
level of fame, they do the clean right like he.
I think Matthew only follows you. It's no even followed Elvis. Yeah,
could I hurt from him? The other day he sent
me a text. But here's the I feel like some
people when they became super famous or famous enough, they
(33:18):
clean out anybody that it's more like a business thing. Nope,
not following Elvis Durand what Matthew Hussey is not following me?
He follows and that's about it. Hold on double checking.
I don't think he even follows me. Yeah, he follows you, Nate,
just you really? Well? Wow, he follows you? He Why
is Matthew Hussey not following me? Hold on? Hold on,
(33:41):
Matthew Hussey Duran show scary? No, I don't even see
that he did. He did famous? Where where is he?
He's date is so right on that as soon as
they get famous, they clean us out like I don't
want to be an. I'm calling Matthew Hussey got out.
He won't be able to hear you. By the way,
(34:03):
probably have a voicemail. Leave a voicemail number. I invited
him to my wedding. I been, I been. He got
rid of the phone number that I called to. Is
it the same number? Here we go, Please leave your
(34:23):
message for two Okay, Matthew, it's Elvis Elvis Durand remember me. Well,
we're talking about you on the show and I was
just told that you dropped me on Instagram? Why are you?
Why did you you unfollowed almost all of us except
(34:43):
for Nate. Why are you mad? Bro? Why are you
screwing us? Over all? Right? Hanging up on you, goodbye
all of your celebrity friends of us? And see who
actually I'm unfollowed, you know what. Camila Cabello used to
follow me unfollowed, so she still follows me. I mean,
(35:05):
thank you for pointing that out. Oh, by the way,
there's a huge hornet trying to fly into my studio.
Get out of here, scrow. You not allowed anyway? What
were we doing this? Break? Oh? Okay, So, speaking of Instagram,
scary isn't I'm I've been This happens to all of us.
Scary was actually caught in the crossfire in a breakup
(35:25):
on Instagram. Right, Yes, my friend was was with a
girl for a couple for a while. They broke up
and now they're friends again. And I saw her last night,
so we tried to post up together. She goes, oh,
it's scary. I haven't seen you forever. I tried to
post a story and I'm like, oh, I'm searching for
your name and I don't see it on Instagram And
she goes, oh, I blocked you just but you were
(35:49):
caught in the crossfires of our relationship. But now things
are good, I'm gonna go and block you so you
can repost that story. Oh my gosh, I'm like, but
why am I being blamed for that? I mean, why
am I being blamed for bad breakups? Just happened to
me the same exact thing, really gone? Pseudo celebrity. I
will drop his name if you guys want me to.
(36:09):
But he used to date Zach from the challenge. I
have no idea who that is. I would tell you
his last name. I said, pseudo celebrity. Never heard of him.
What's the challenge? He It's on MTV where they, you know,
challenge each other all kinds of things. Oh, big celebrity, okay, celebrity. Um,
he used to date my friend before I even met her,
so he and I have zero interaction whatsoever. But they
(36:31):
got into some type of tiff over their weddings recently.
They both got married on the same day, obviously to
other people, and I got blocked in the crossfire of that.
I'm like, I've never even met you or talked to you.
How did I get blocked? But I got blocked? It's fine.
Well it doesn't matter though, because you don't even know him,
I don't know nobody you care about him? But I
was like, what in the hell? Thanks a lot, buddy, Zach.
You know, this Matthew Hussey thing has me really really
(36:53):
pissed off. Doesn't all call him? I know? Do you
know how much publicity we've given him? Do you know
how much how much marketing we've done for him on
our show and his business? You don't even millions of
dollars this guy has made. You can be on our show.
It sounds up. I want you to unfollow Matthew Hussey
(37:15):
right now, and I'm gonna check he's no longer out
on this show? Is a position? Look? Oh really, okay,
either you follow me? Are you unfollow Matthew Hussey. That's
how this guy, I say, choose wisely. All right, you
have to send a clear message, maybe even block him, Nate,
block him, block him, block him, everyone. Garrett is a
(37:41):
great idea everyone listening to our show. If you follow
Matthew Hussey, drop him right now, absolutely unfollowed. And he's
got a million followers right now, no, let's get him
down to nine now. If you follow Matthew Hussey, please
unfollow him right now, Oh my gosh, Matthew. You know
they say that, the publicists for these famous people say,
(38:03):
you know, you really it's uncool to have more than
a couple of hundred, you know, following more than a
couple of hundred people. So he used to have like
a thing. He used to be following like a thousand people.
Now he follows only two hundred people. So someone whittled
it down. All right, So again again I'm putting the
call out there. I'm gonna I'm gonna do it every hour,
all week, every show. I'm gonna every single hour I'm
gonna remind you please unfollow Matthew Hussey. You know, he's
(38:25):
gonna be on the show later this week, and you
guys are gonna make up. No I'm okay, I'm not
wait wait, he's supposed to be on the shows. I'm
saying that because of this. No, never again will Matthew
Hussey be allowed on this show. Hold on, let me
unfollow him myself. Hold on, pieces really, Matthew hush, Oh
(38:46):
it's the Matthew Hussey. Yeah yeah, Oh wait, I don't
follow that. Oh wait, I just realized I don't follow Matthews.
I follow you what because I pointed this out to
you six months ago, and that's when you unfollowed him,
but he still has not refollowed you back. No, he
is off this show. I just unfollowed him. We still
(39:06):
love Kevin Jonas because he follows us. Love Kevin Jonas.
We love the Jonas brothers. Yeah, oh, speaking up. You
know I have the three Koi in my KOI pond. Yeah,
and I called him. I called him the Jonas brothers.
A raccoon got in there, and we think he ate
one of the Jonas brothers. Yes what Oh no, I
just visited them like two weeks ago. We were talking
(39:27):
to him outside. I know, I don't know which Jonas
brother Fisher perished. We got to look himTo this replace
it raccoon. All right, someone's accusing meowed Matthew. Good. All right. Look,
(39:47):
you know if he takes if we take this one
step further, we could wish diarrhea on Matthew, Okay, I'll
leave it. Got there yet, We've got to take a break.
The phone taps this week? Are they sponsored? Do we
have like a thousands us know our phone taps are
worth nothing this week? Well, I mean they're worth the
enjoyment that you get out of them, but I get
no money. All right, there you go. We we'll be
(40:10):

We went to MV in Bernardsville yesterday and had to go.
I mean we had some leftovers a doggie bag. Yeah,
I left him in the car all night. It was sealed. Yeah,
So would you trust it? Hell? Yeah? But is there
anything that could have spoiled? Like, you know, na chicken, palm,
It's fine, Oh, you're fine, you palm. Eat it. It's
(41:13):
like a heat lamp season under a heat lamp all day. Right,
I'm gonna eat it. That's my breakfast hey, so um.
One of my favorite things I do at Target is
I buy band T shirts. Right, So I studied, was
just put out there in the field to find out
what is the most popular band T shirt across all genres?
(41:35):
Do you guys know? Nirvana? Nirvana not in the top ten,
Rolling Stones not in the top ten, Blind, the Beatles, Journey,
The Beatles number eight, Journey not in the top ten,
Number ten, Ariana grandde Okay number nine, Prints number eight,
The Beatles seven, Food Fighters six, Bob Marley five, Green
(41:58):
Day four, Pink Floyd Queen number two T shirt, Aerosmith
number one, A c DC Wow, Really, Gandhi? Can you
name one a CDC song? I cannot, Danielle, can you yes?
Which highway to Hell? And you? Isn't it you shook
me all night long? Or something like that? You have
(42:21):
back in Black's my favorite? You don't have back in Blacks? No, Darren, No, no,
no, no no, I do know it. Yes, play Scared. Let
me hear the beginning of it. Here we go, Here
(42:42):
you go, and then it's a great song. Number one
T shirt A c DC Wow. Where's Metallica? I would
think Metallica would be up there, right, I think here
(43:07):
you go number one T shirt right there. Wow, you
have Highway to Hell? Scary? Hey are we starting? Did
we start on Lucy ninety three three and Austin yet?
What happened there? There's some technical issues in the background.
(43:31):
Oh gosh, this is my new favorite station, Lucy ninety
three three. Look them up. Yeah, I know they're missing
hell on there. The ac DC is Daniel's favorite a s.
(44:00):
Dannielle put memories. This is this song green to I
don't know what about your shigary all that longer that
you shook me all that long? There? It is. This
is so good, the biggest hit of all time. Are
you sure about that? For them? Yes, I would put
money on it. Okay, Skanny put money on a C
(44:23):
d C. So no matter where you're working up this morning,
you're like, what the hell he done? Elvis is playing
a CDC totally you've never heard you shook me on that? All?
(44:49):
Right off? Okay, okay, we have to counterbalance that with
some share. Yeah, what do you have to share? Yeah?
Everybody blames tea Pain for ruining music, but it was
actually this song. Oh my goddess, my queen, I love
(45:14):
you something. Oh yeah, this is a weird version. Hey,
stop that. You know we have to wish Madonna a
happy birthday. Look, okay, I'll admit Madonna has not been
the nicest person to us, but Oliver Music Madonna one
(45:36):
of my favorite concerts of all time. Madonna one of
Nate's favorite songs of all time. Isn't Vogue like up
in his top five? God? It's on every playlist? Vogue? Yes,
play Vogue? Scary? What a great Vogue? Strike a pose? Scary?
It's just want to make sure it's the right version. Looks,
(45:56):
look at it starts with a v oh. Here, let's
just play it out. We're running really late, but who cares.
It's our show to share? And now Madonna justify my love.
That's a great song. You know the request, I'll play lot. Wow,
(46:19):
look at that. During the entire song, Nate was striking
that same post. Hey do you remember her book called Sex?
Of course? I hadn't you? Still? Do you still have it?
I don't think so. You know what, it's worth a
lot of money. You can buy them on eBay for
like over a thousand dollars. Now it was like Gandhi,
did you ever see Sex? By Madonna? It was sorry.
(46:40):
It was an art book. I mean it was all
photos of her. It's just like all of the place,
bending over and stuff. And the documentary that one with it. Remember, yes,
and the cover and the bad cover of the book
were steel. They're their metal And uh yeah, I still
have it. I saw it the other day. Wow, I don't.
When times are tough, I'm gonna sell it. So one
(47:04):
of the photoshoots she did Insects was done at a
club that's no longer here in New York City called
the Gaiety. The Gayety was right behind the Howard Johnson's
right off of Times Square. The Gayety was a club.
You would go upstairs and pay your money and you
go sit in this dark theater and guys would come
out and fully clothed and they would dance right. Then
they would go backstage and someone would fluff them up.
(47:25):
They'd come out on stage totally naked and aroused and
they would dance right. That's the Gayety. So Madonna did
a full photoshoot at the Gayety. It was so like,
if you're from New York and you're old and you're gay,
you know exactly what I'm And so we would go
to the gayety. We take our friends, who were our
female friends, but they would put their hair up in
(47:45):
hats so they look at guys. Our friend, Polly Anthony
God brought us her soul. We took her there, remember
poly Anthony h We took her there, and then after
we were done, we'd go over to Howard Johnson Howard
Johnsons in order their fried clams. It was fabulous night.
What a New York night that back? I know? Wow,
look it up gayety g ai something gay g a
(48:09):
y I T e y or something. I don't know
spell it. How's your gayety g a I E t
y gay at Look it up New York City. What
a history at that place, Jesus, I thought i'd share
that with you. On Madonna's birthday. Mail Burlesque the gaet
I know it was mail Burlesque, Isn't that? Isn't that funny? Wow? See,
(48:31):
if you're old enough, you remember the stuff in New York.
Now New York City just disappoints me. Go to that
other club where Halston used to go and then they'd
ride a horse before my time, Okay, I remember Dan
sounds like a disease. Yeah, here's an old club, old
club called the Saint. We used to go there years ago,
(48:52):
and I was underaged when we all went to the Vault.
The Vault, Yes, the S and M Club, And I
remember it was the first time I was dating Sheldon, right,
and we all we had just started dating. We all
went in and we thought he thought it was a
dance club and maybe some sex going on in the corners. No,
it was sex everywhere. And he kept me. He's like,
(49:13):
do not move, do not move backwards, do not move
to the left. Just stay where you are, and do
not wear open to lick your feet on the ground.
Can you stay in the mine own business. Someone's down
on the floor licking your feet. Oh the days of
New York. I could go on and on the finger
food that they would serve. Let's leave that right there, Danielle.
(49:37):
Let's let's get into the phone tap. Come on, here
we go, push the button, sperience, Elvis, Elvis durand the
Elvis durand phone tap. My father, Chuck Senior, is a
practical joker. It's time for us to play one on him.
His pride and joy is not his family, but his boat.
(49:58):
Chuck Senior loves his boat. Every summer. It's the highlight
of his life, putting it into the water and zooming off. Well,
they went into the marina in the water this week.
The boat is tied up to Doc C. The letter
C call him and tell him that Doc C is
rotting away and his boat, unfortunately has to be put
(50:19):
back up on the land and dry dock for the summer.
You take a man's boat away from him, you might
as well slice off his private parts. Dad will get pissed.
Of course, we're talking about Chuck Senior. This comes from
Chuck Junior. Let's listen in as we make Chuck Senior
mad with a phone tap. Hello, this is Chuck. Hey Chuck,
(50:41):
this is Gil Egan from from New Arena. Yes, Gil,
we have we had a little problem. Your boat just
went in the water this week. Yes, it did. You're
at Slip one twenty one on sea Doc correct, Yes, okay,
we've had a little problem. Se Doc has completely rotted
away from from the weather and the water, and some
parts of the dock are broken away and we've had
to move as many of the boats as we could
(51:01):
to other docks. Boat damage, Well, there's sort of a
gash in the side down there, on Sunday. Yeah, it
must have happened last night. That's that's only part of
the problem. They're a chuck. We have to move all
the boats and we're moving them over to one of
the other docks, over to a and there's not enough
(51:25):
room for all the boats. So we had to do
like a lottery thing, draw numbers out of the hat.
Unfortunately slipped one twenty one, which was yours, didn't get picked,
so we've had to dry dock your boat. So the
boat is up on the Yeah, unbelievable at this point.
Then because the frigging season, we got the hole on
the side now too, Well, you guys, your damn insurance
(51:45):
company better get down your right away. Yeah, we're not
paying for that. Sure you are. You're responsible or not.
It's the weather. No, it's not the weather. The fact
is that you moved the boat. Yeah, it could have
happened when we moved. It could have happen from the
weather as no even knowing if you guys moved the boat,
it's your insurance company that's going to pay it. Hey,
we didn't have my insurance company. Don't don't get me wrong,
I'm an insurance agent. Ya, So what are getting cheap
with us. For I'm not getting cheap with you. Sound
(52:07):
like it. You gotta know, you know, Mike, let me
talk to Let me talk to Excuse me, it's Gil
Chance not here. That's why I'm calling. Listen. You've got
a big boat there, buddy. Don't get all like you know,
penny pinching with us. The boat hasn't spend a lot
of money with you. Guys. Don't tell me I'm penny pinching.
Please please, I got guys who spend me. You're on
the furthest dock away, you're on seed doc. There are guys.
There are guys who spending the money for eight years too.
(52:27):
I enjoy the dock. I enjoy the guys. You know,
everybody on the other side of the dock is hoody.
Soon you know which guys are hooty tooty. The guys
on the other dock might be the one that you
do given a lottery too. Yeah, I'm on a doc.
See what I mean? Is that supposed to be funny? Yeah?
I got a lot of friends and family on a doc. Well, hey,
that's tough. How about I tell the guys on a
(52:48):
doc what you've been saying? About them, and then we
take care of your boat once and for all. Hey, listen,
don't get smart with me. Okay again, smart with you,
I've had. Smart with me, I've had. I'll tell you
what I'll do. What will you do? Yeah, I'll be
down here to mara and then what I'll take care
of you and anybody else that needs to be taken
care of. Oh, you're a tough guy'd you better believe it.
You're a tough guy with a boat on the land.
That's what you got. How about if I see you
(53:09):
down here in about an hour. It takes me about
an hour to get down there. Yeah, and what's gonna
happen then, buddy? No, no no, I just want to talk
to you. We'll talk to me about the problem that
I'm having. I'm beginning to think there, Chuck, that maybe
not you're not the kind of person that we want
here at the marina. Well, don't worry. Do you want
me out of there? I'll get out. There's other places
at the marinas that want me. Believe me, not when
they call us for a recommendation. Oh yeah, right, you
(53:30):
think we're gonna give you a recommendation? With recommendation, believe
in false insurance. I don't need your recommendation. It made
such an impression on me. I even forgot your friggin name,
Gil Egan, Gil Egan, Gil Gil. You know what you
could do? Hey, listen, you want to talk to Chan?
He's here. Yeah, let me talk to Chane. Hey, Chan,
Chan come here. I got yeah, I got that guy
(53:51):
Centaur on the phone. Chan. I have no clue who
the hell you hired there, Gil Egan, But this guy's
an ask from the word go, maybe you could be
listening to you. You're kidding me? Why did you do
this to me? Well, I'm sorry you didn't pick up
on the fact I told you my name was Gilligan.
(54:12):
Oh Gie, have an idea for a phone tab. Go
to ellistran dot com, click on the phone tab tab,
tell us what you want to do. Was prerecorded permission
granted by all parties. Elle Sturran phone tab on Ellie
Sturan in the Morning Show, Ran in the Morning Show.
(54:34):
Can we talk about your neighbor's Nate God, No, bad enough,
I already rated them out, Yes, tell us tell them? Okay,
so this weekend, Uh, these neighbors that we've been meaning
to hang out with, they live behind us, right, so
we can see their backyard. And on Saturday night, I
mean there was a party. They had a fire pit,
(54:55):
there was fireworks. I mean there was people from so
like one in the morning and we were invited. So
then on Sunday I text the neighbor and I'm like, hey,
sounded like you guys had fun last night. I've been
meaning to call you to get together. Blah blah blah.
So they're like five hours later she replies him. She goes, Um,
we weren't home last but you know you would love
(55:18):
to get together. But I'm gonna check in and see
what happened with the kids. I'm like, oh god, I
rat it out their team. You did. Your intent was
not to wrap them out, but he did. The intent
was not there, Froggy, but he did. That party was
a banger though. I mean it would look look like
(55:38):
a lot of fun. Oh my gosh, do you ever
make friends? We have new friends, right, and there are
a lot of fun to hang out with. But you're
convinced they're trying to kill you, for sure. I think
that about some people on this show every now. Yeah,
me too, Why are you looking at me? Exactly? So
Alex and I have these new friends and they're just lovely,
lovely people. We were hanging out with him yesterday. But
(56:00):
I'm convinced they're trying to kill us. I mean they're
they're in, they're insane. I mean they party hard and
they're fun, very fun, and so you know, you know me,
I love I'm always up for a party and new
friends and stuff. But I don't know. I think someone
has hired them too to kill us. You'd be careful.
I don't trust really really nice, really really rich people.
(56:20):
I don't know if they are, but I think they're
always trying to take your kidnies. No, no, no, they're
sweet people. We're going on again tomorrow. I'm like, I'm
afraid Wednesday morning could be a bad show. Anyway. He's
warning us on a Monday's right, if they fill up
a bathtub with water and then you're like, they tell
just wait here, and I'm not gonna kill me by
(56:42):
taking my kidney. It's more of it, just like slowly
kill me through you know, consumption, all right, they won't
watch your kidney after that. No, no, my kidneys are shot,
forget it. Anyway. I'll let you know. I don't report
back to you on that. Let's get into the Danielle report. Danielle,
as we do that, remind everyone if you follow Matthew Hussy,
he please unfollow him. Yeah, my god, Matthew Hussey terrible.
(57:04):
He unfollowed me and all we've done for him, all
we've done for Matthew Hussey, and I know a lot
of people have don't even know who he is. Don't
even look him up. If you want follow him, then
unfollow him. Oh my god, yeah, we'll probably what all
we're doing is doing what he's done to us. We're
just returning to favor. He unfollowed us, so maybe he
(57:25):
doesn't want our people to follow. And you know what,
he's been on our favorite He's been at our Christmas parties.
He's been really I know, and I love him. I
thought I did, but now I'm getting to know the
real Matthew Hussey. I say everyone, if you follow Matthew Hussey,
unfollow him. All right, daniel what's going on? Weeks? It'll
(57:45):
be fun. This is all in fun. Last week's Field
of Dreams game was the most watched regular season baseball
game in sixteen years. It also boosted sales of the movie.
I know, I was watching it. It was so good
and uh and just to be I just love the
way they were doing like the old time board with
the score where instead of like electronic, it was like
(58:07):
a wooden board and everything. That was pretty cool. I
loved it. Kuella two is in the works, guy, I'm
so fun of a nice I had a lot of
people have wanted that all electric Audi from that Tony
Stark drove and Avengers endgame. Well it can now be yours.
So you got to look it up if you're interested.
But they are selling it. Oh, it's it's a lot
of money. Why are you going to buy one? No,
(58:30):
I'm just asking. I didn't look up the price, but
you know, it's a lot of money. It's like Audi.
How much are audis? To begin with? I mean, like
that one hundred thirty nine thousand dollars and stuff? What
you call the Audi? What? Uh it is? Etron GT? Yeah,
the GT and the R Setron GT. Are you looking
(58:52):
it up? Yeah, go ahead and move on. Oh it's
one hundred and forty thousand dollars. Yeah, it's one hundred
and thirty nine thousand, nine hundred. I was adding tax
and something else. Let's talk about Erica Batdo. She has
issued an apology for posting pictures from President Barack obama
sixtieth birthday party. You know that it was supposed to
be scaled down because of the delta variant, and it
(59:14):
was scaled down a little bit. But she posted pictures
and they were of Michelle and Barack mingling unmasked, and
she felt really bad, so she she took him down
and she said, I'm really sorry for being such a
terrible guest. So I don't know if you saw this
over the weekend, but Lizzo took to social. She was
she was crying so many hateful comments that she received
(59:36):
from her rumors video, the one with Cardi b accused
her of putting on a minstrel show. Others have compared
her to Mammy's character and gone with the wind. And
this is just a little bit of what she said
on social. People who have something something mean to say
about you, and for the most party doesn't hurt about feelings. Okay.
(01:00:02):
I just think when I'm working this hard, my tolerance
gets lower, My patience is lower and more sensitive, and
it gets to me. I mean, it's just, you know,
really she's such a lovely, lovely lady. You know, it's
so proud of that. So you know, she's so proud
of everything she did. It's just stopped. Jimmy a favorite,
(01:00:24):
unfollowed Matthew Hushsey and follow Lizza Yes, and be nice
to her. So Megan Marco Kate Middleton are they working
on a Netflix special together? That is the rumor going
around that it's a new documentary that it's going to
talk about Kate's charity work. Now, of course the Palace
is saying. The royals are saying nope, that is not happening.
But I don't know. We'll see video going around with
(01:00:47):
Selena Gomez and friends singing Arianna Grandees break up with
your girlfriend on board. So Arianna took the social to
reach out to Selena. She was really loving it. She's like,
you cuties are kidding me. She said, I love you.
So I like what artists talk to each other. But
they're nice to each other. It's nice. Ed. Cheron wants
kids to be encouraged to follow their dreams. He said
he felt like he wasn't when he was a kid.
(01:01:08):
He told The London Mirror that when I was a child,
I said, I you know, you want to be a musician,
and they said, no, you gotta get a real job.
You can't be a musician. That's not going to work
out for you. And here you know, and we all
know what happened with that cheron, right, So he said
school is stressful enough with everything going on. He wants
to tell kids that if you love what you do,
then maybe one day you can be paid for it,
(01:01:29):
So just keep doing what you love. HBO Max gives
you season three of Hard Bachelor, Paradise season premiere, and
of course American and d Warriors on as well. And
that is my Danielle report. Thanks Danielle. Gotta take a break.
We're back after this getting up early. It's tough enough, right,
but it's a way harder if you struggle to fall
(01:01:51):
asleep when you hit the bed. Thankfully, there's new zequal
pure Z's restorative herbal Asleep, a drug free and milotonin
freeway to get better, restore sleep, sleep, This good, Feel
This good Morning Show open testimonials. I love it. I
love how funny they are. It is so funny. He's
(01:02:11):
always humor. It makes me happy. Happy microphone check. We
need to talk so lady que Uncle Johnny counting down. Fine,
We're just gonna have fun and parties. Let's have a show.
(01:02:35):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show. Oh we gotta que
Uncle Johnny. I just tiptoed upstairs something to drink and uh,
he's still sleeping. He's all in his fetal position, Uncle Johnny.
We had a great night with him yesterday, a great
day with him. Uncle Johnny just came out at the
last minute just to hang out with us. It's always
(01:02:57):
nice to have Uncle Johnny in the house. Anyway, it
is better when he's sleeping and not trying to tell
jokes on our show. I thought older people don't sleep
this late. You know, it's weird. You know, I don't know.
I'm old Lee. He's asleep anyway. Um, oh, you know
what we need to do other than remind you again
(01:03:19):
it is still summer? Yes, yeah again. I was reading
something over the weekend. Oh, come on in, Duncan, will
you have your pumpkin spice? But no, no, it's too
early for that. No, did you do what I did
over the weekend? Was it summary? So? No, it was both.
So I took my stuffed animal of sam um, which
is an evil character. Um and I got him from
(01:03:41):
Spirit Halloween and he was relaxing by the pool. So
I had summer and I had fall together over the
You're a monster? How dare you stop it? It's not
fall yet, It's still summer, you know. We always played
the Bird every summer. We even't played it once hit
It's scary. Everybody's head a song of summer. I still
(01:04:02):
can't believe this was a him. The trash men, the
trash Man, they were the they were the Ariana Grandes
of their day. Wow. Man, So keep in mind we
played songs like every what two hours? Yeah, they used
to rotate this song on radio station. Oh my god,
(01:04:24):
it is kind of a jam. Everyone's dancing rods me
the family guy. That's right, everybody's ted are this is
the only lyrics? Yes? How is that? You're here? You imagine?
Get out to the Zealand hudd What song would you
(01:04:46):
like to hear? Can you play the Bird by the
trash Man? What was the Bird of dance? Like? Is that? What? Yes?
Was it the Was it a dance? I don't know?
No who? According to this it was the genre of
surf rock garage rock nineteen sixty three, Oh my god,
(01:05:10):
yeah by by by by by by by by by
scarh my god. He changed the words from the bird
to this isn't irritating at all. Okay, we've let it
(01:05:36):
go away now, Yes, that was a hit. Radio stations
around the world play that every hour and twenty minutes
in heavy rotation. Wow, oh god. So what song do
we play today that we'll be making fun of in
in forty five fifty years? Oh damn, I mean that's
that song right there is almost sixty years old. In
(01:05:57):
sixty years, we're gonna make fun of what? What scary? Well,
there's a song out right now. It's a Spanish song
I hear everywhere. And the guy goes, Mama, mama, mama.
I'm my mom and my mom and I'm mamma mamma,
over and over and I swear to you and it's infectious,
and they keep playing it. Are you sure he's not
saying a word? It is in Spanish? Diamond knows the
son I'm talking about. At you, He goes, it's a
(01:06:19):
falsetto voice too. They're talking to each other, having Spanish dialogue.
What are they saying? He's saying, la mama, la mama,
la mama. Oh, I've heard that. Scary. They're actually saying
words mama, mama, la mama, lay mama, day la mama. Yeah,
that's okay, you hear it everywhere. I know. But they're
(01:06:40):
actually speaking that. But it's a different language. So therefore
you just think that's the song. In twenty years, you're
gonna be like, what were you guys listening to? Then?
I don't know. Maybe they don't like that in sixty years.
I don't know. Anyway, it is summer. I don't want
to let I don't want to let loose of summer ever.
I want summer to last forever. So, uh, do you
(01:07:01):
have a music game involving summer songs? Yeah? Actually we do.
We have songs of summer's past. So all of these
songs were big hits in summertime. Oh like that you
got a little DJ Jesse, Jeff and the Fresh Prince
in it. No, actually that was too easy making it
easy for are listening for a contestant here or no?
(01:07:22):
No scared? He has like like music bed turette. He
starts playing a bed for no reason. I want to
go around the room. Let's see what's on your mind.
We'll start with you, Danielle, what are you thinking about? So?
In your house do you well a lot of you
(01:07:43):
live alone? But in how people that don't live alone.
If someone takes a water bottle out of the fridge,
if you have water bottles, do you want them to
replace it with another one? Or is it like my
house where you open the refrigerator and there's no water
bottles left after you put fifteen in the yesterday and
you're the only one of the house that actually does that.
And then you go into the cabinet and someone has
(01:08:04):
finished the potato chips, but they don't throw the potato
chip bag away, They leave the empty bag in the cabinet.
I don't understand why you seem to be venting you
think so. I don't understand why you just can't throw
something away or replace something. You take one but one.
Don't you go yell at your family? Why are you
yell at enough? We didn't do it. I have done it.
(01:08:26):
It's not working. It's dying, same as a toilet paper.
Oh my foggy, does this happen in your house? It does.
I don't know why, but it does not alone. Danielle,
thank you, thank you all right, So you vented very nice?
Your turn foggy? What do you want a bitch and
moan about? Well, I will bitch and moans. So if
your negotiation tactics start with I know you're gonna say no,
(01:08:48):
but I know it's on my tongue, I'm not even
gonna wait for you to finish. So last night Lisa
was looking at something on Poshmark and she's like, I
know you're gonna say I don't need this, but hear
me out. I didn't hear a thing she said. I
just waited for her to finish, making noise, and I said, yeah,
you don't need that, and I walked away. I don't
even know what it was. I have no idea. Do
(01:09:08):
not start off a negotiation with somebody with I know
you're gonna say no. You have already given them the answer.
That is probably a bad idea. Just you probably bought
it anyway, probably scary. What's up with you? Well? M
Gandi and I are hosting part two of an event today,
a takeover of this castle called Ohica Castle on Long
Islands to benefit d up On Cancer. So UM shout
(01:09:33):
out to everybody who worked so hard to put This
two day event together started with a great Gatsby party
last night, which I was underprepared for because I don't
know how to dress Gatsby. Stop. And today we're going
to be there's a golf tournament. I don't know how
to play golf, so I don't know what we're doing.
But we're just going to golf. Go to Celebrity Sports
Entertainment dot com and make your donation. If you want
to buy tickets, we'll be there. We are party crashers. Yeah,
(01:09:56):
oh my god, I'm reading the lyrics to Wamma de
la Mama. Yeah. Do you know what the song is about? No,
go look it up. And we get into we get
into Gandhi, Gandhi. What's your mind tonight? There's something on
Netflix that I think everybody should watch. Diamond and I
were talking about it this morning. It's called Malice at
the Palace. Have you guys seen this? Do you know
(01:10:17):
what it is? All right? It's basically about what people
call the worst night in NBA history, where Ron our
Tests came out into the crowd to beat some ass
of people who were out there, and the fans and
the other players who were involved in it and exactly
what happened and what led up to what they're saying
is the worst night ever in NBA history. It is
so fascinating to hear them talking about basically what happened,
(01:10:39):
and I mean, it's still happening now, all these years later.
These fans heckle people. They're dumping drinks on the guys
as they're walking by. They're doing all this stuff feeling
that they're protected, and then all of a sudden they weren't,
and it is insane. I think all of you should
watch it, Froggy, especially you. I think Malice at the
Palace Part one came out already, Part two comes out tomorrow.
(01:11:00):
But it's really really good. Do not say things to
an athlete from the stands when they were on the
field of play that you wouldn't say to their face.
If you do, be prepared to get your ass kicks.
That's the way it goes. It is, It's true, don't
do that? Do you not do it? And they went
they took it from saying things to actually doing things.
I mean, they're dumping drinks on these guys and throwing
things at them, Like, what did you expect to happen?
(01:11:21):
After a certain point, but it's really fascinating everyone to
watch it. Yeah, what about you, producer, Sam, what are
you thinking about today? So, just like you, Elvis Andrew
and I your assistant, are not ready to let go
of summer yet. So yesterday we went rafting on the
Delaware River and it was so much fun. I don't
remember the last time I was that big of an idiot. Booked.
When you do stuff like that, make sure you listen
(01:11:42):
to the safety precautions. Because I thought I was such
a badass. I know how to swim, so I did
not have my life best on me the whole time.
And at one point we did a rapid and I
got the hell out of that boat and I was like,
you know, I ended up being fine, but there were
a few seconds where I was like, yeah, i'd be
a lot covered if I was holding my life vest.
(01:12:04):
Just always wear your life jacket. Oh yeah, jacket. I
got home and I yelled at my sisters. They're like,
we didn't even do anything. I'm like, I know, but
I know you bitches also wouldn't wear it if you
were me, So I'm gonna yell at you for that.
Oh my god, So go have fun. I'm a very
terrifying big sister, Elvis. You'll have to trust me, but
just always always be safe all of your situations. Listen
(01:12:24):
to the precautions. You're signing a waiver for a reason.
That's all. Okay, thanks for it. I feel like I've
been scolded. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Gary, we do you? Yeah,
I've been done. What are you talking about? I talked
about our charity event where we have going on. Oh,
that's right, that's right. Okay, finally a senior of Straight
Naked Oh what are you thinking about? My around the room?
Isn't my around the room? Because I can't remember my
(01:12:46):
around the room. I knew that you're around the room.
That is around that you can't remember you're around the
room I knew around the room. Is How the hell
do you remembers if you're a forgetful person? What do
you do to try and remember things? I try and
write things down, I try and put notes in my phone.
I text myself occasionally. I had a great around the room.
I can't remember what the hell it is because sometimes
by the time I get a pen and a piece
(01:13:07):
of paper, it's already out of my brain. So not
alone please let me know how you try and remember
things if you're as forgetful as I am. I just
ask you, guys, Okay, what was that thing we're talking
about Thursday? I asked that during the song of a
minute ago. I'm like, hey, guys, remember Thursday? Yeah, what
do we talk about? I was supposed to bring something
(01:13:28):
up today. What was it? No idea? No, Gandhi remembered it. Actually, yeah, really,
and she told me what it is, and I remember
what it is. We're gonna talk about it with Diamond
coming up in a moment. Diamond says, on the list
of things that a guy must have going for him,
he must be wealthy or she's not going she's not
going to hang out with him. Oh, we have a
(01:13:48):
debate about this. Yes, we'll get into that and a
few of the things in a few minutes. Let's get
into the three things we need to know right now.
Gandhi's so much going on in the world. Where do
you start. Let's start in Afghanistan. The situation is growing
more ten by the minute. The Taliban is now in
control after seizing the capital city of Kabul yesterday. The
US embassy moved to a military controlled section of the airport.
As evacuation flights continue, more US troops are arriving to
(01:14:12):
help with security. Thousands have now crowded the tarmac trying
to force their way onto planes, and at least five
people have reportedly been killed so far in the chaos.
It appears Haitians are not done with the bad news either.
Grace has been downgraded from a tropical storm to a depression,
which is great, but it's still on a path that
will put it directly over the country later today. That
(01:14:33):
follows a few days after Tropical Storm Fred visited and
after a magnitude seven point two earthquakes struck Saturday, killing
nearly thirteen hundred people. That number will continue to grow today,
they say as they clean up. Hospitals are struggling to
keep up with the fifty seven hundred people who are hurt.
Some centers have run out of space, with others treating
patients underneath trees and on the side of the road.
(01:14:55):
More than thirteen thousand homes have been destroyed. As we
always say, UNICEF, dot Org, Red Cross and United Way
are all places you can donate if you're trying to help,
And on a much lighter note, let's talk about something positive. Okay, Okay,
(01:15:15):
it's just a heavy newsday. Okay, really something more positive.
You go, something positive? All right. You might not be
able to use the excuse of your metabolism slowing down
as the reason why you gained weight in your twenties, thirties,
or forties. Apparently your metabolism doesn't actually slow down until
you're about sixty years old. Supposedly, it plateaus right at
the age of twenty and stays just about the same
(01:15:37):
until you turn sixty. So if you are just being
less active and eating more, don't blame your metabolism. Your
metabolism is still up and kicking for a while. None
of us have an excuse here, well me, No, you're
not sixty. I'm almost that. You're not there almost, I'm
almost sixty. None of us have an excuse anymore. We're
(01:15:57):
just being lazy and eating the wrong things. And those
are your three things. Thanks, You're welcome. I love that
that story was on. The lighter note is we don't
have to We're not fighting nature. It's just, you know,
we're fighting ourselves. That might be easier. We are actually true.
Thank you, Gandhi love you. Let's take a break. Let's
talk to Diamond about how shallow she is. God, that's
(01:16:20):
what our shows in the Morning show. Discover matches all

(01:16:41):
full morning to you, I've always learned in the Morning Show. Hey,
so you know we love our Diamond, love her more
than ever. Yes, it's so great to see you in
the studio again. Does it feel good to be coming
back in It feels good. I don't really know if
my eyes are happy about it, because they're always very
tired now. Yes, but you know, welcome to our hell. So,
(01:17:07):
as you know, Diamond and Gandhi and Andrew hit the
road for two weeks off the grid, living in a
beautiful RV, going across the country and look in stopping
off at some of the most incredible sights and experiences
known demand. Uh, and you guys really got to bond
a lot. You had a lot of great deep conversations
didn't you, Oh my god, so much. I mean, I
(01:17:28):
got so attached to Diamond and Andrew on these two weeks,
during these two weeks that when she came in this morning,
I kind of jumped on her. Well, with that said,
I'm sure there was good and bad that you talked about.
Some things that Diamond shared with you that you felt
were just really, really wonderful, and then some things. Actually
one thing in particular that she said that kind of
(01:17:49):
hit you upside the head in the wrong way. Right, Well,
we had a spirited debate about it. Spirited debates get
along at the end, Diamond, did you remember what she's
talking about? I do? Okay, Diamond, what was it exactly
that caused the spirited debate with Gandhi? So I posed
the question, is it bad if one of my requirements
(01:18:12):
for a man in my life is that he's wealthy
for us to get married, right Like? Is it bad
that I want my husband to be rich? Is it
bad that I say bring him with a bag at God?
You know what I mean? You know, So, it wasn't
like you said, I'm not going to marry anyone until
he's until I know he has money. It wasn't that
you said, Hey, is it bad? Yes? I mean it
(01:18:33):
probably came off that way because I was very adamant
about it. Is it how she asked the question? Gandhi?
Well yeah, okay, so so far, so good. There's nothing
wrong with just asking an opinion about the possibility of
requiring a man to be wealthy before you marry him. Listen,
this is what I want, right Okay? We no, no, no,
see now this is a different conversation. Okay. It went
(01:18:56):
from you asking, so now you're demanding. No, I'm not demanding.
It's not a deal breaker, right, I want to make
that very clear, but it would be nice. I mean,
everyone has their preference, right, Men have a long list
of preferences they want, you know, some guys want blonds,
some guys want big boobs, nice bodies. Whatever. Okay, if
(01:19:20):
you have requirements, then so do I. I want your packet,
your pockets to be fat. Then if you are gonna
act like that, okay, let's toprecate the same energy over here. Okay, okay,
I'm listening. Remember hearing, Gandhi, how did you respond to that?
I said, I think you are severely limiting yourself by
saying something like that. Or like thinking that that's what
(01:19:41):
you need in your life because of a lot of
different things. Like number one, I think that as opposed
to wanting somebody else to be rich and take care
of us, our goals should be to be rich and
take care of ourselves. And I think that as time
has gone on, the dynamic has shifted. There are more
women in college now, there are the majority of my
girlfriends make more than their guys do. And I would
(01:20:04):
hate for that to eliminate a very great person from
your life because of a money situation. And we want
men to do all of these things. And I kind
of think that this is one area of I almost
hate to say it, but like toxic femininity, where we
want equality in so many ways, but we don't want
it there. We still want to be taken care of
by a guy, but we want equality and everything else.
(01:20:27):
And I'm saying equality is if I make more money,
I don't mind taking care of another person. If he's
not making as much money as me, and he's a
great person, that's to me what matters far more. Okay,
may I step in here, gandhi everyone Diamond could be
sitting here right now and saying okay, my requirements to
(01:20:47):
the man. He must be wealthy, he must have green eyes,
must have he must be left handed whatever. You know,
this is just sitting here, just kind of babbling about
the possibilities. But when the right guy comes along, he
may be he may be penniless, he may have brown eyes,
you know what I'm saying. So are you going to
throw him to the curve if he doesn't have, Like, say,
the perfect guy comes along, he meets all the other requirements,
(01:21:09):
but he doesn't really have a lot of money. What
are you gonna do. I'll take him. I'm going to
throw someone away if they're a good guy, right. But
at the same time, if other people have requirements, then
why can't I. That's and it's not necessarily a requirement,
it's a preference, Like it's a preference. Now, what do
you feel? How do you feel about what Gandhi said
(01:21:31):
about equality, about you know, toxic femininity. I can't say
the word. I definitely agree with Gandhia. I completely understand
with completely understand what she's saying. And in fact, after
the conversation I told her, I'm like, oh, you kind
of change my perspective. I don't know if I ever
want to say that out loud again? Yet here I
(01:21:52):
am something. But this is what people like? This is
what Having people in uh in your life like Gandhi
or four? Did I say that right? Having people like
Gandhi in your life or four to give you a
different perspective and make you think about it? Got it? Wow?
Talk about different perspective that you've been you've been introduced
(01:22:12):
to over the past three four weeks has been Ganda
has been a major influencer in that regard in many ways. Right,
I feel like she's my little sister and I'm just
going to take care of her and We're going to
find great people and it doesn't matter if they have
a ton of money or not, because Diamond is a
badass and I have no doubt that she's going to
be very well off in her life and it's not
going to matter. Same same there you go. Can you
(01:22:35):
know me? I'm the king of turning things around and
make them sound different even though it's the same thing.
I'm the guy who puts the lipstick on the pig.
You know what I'm saying? Yea, yea, rather than saying
if I'm going to marry a guy, he better be wealthy.
You could say, you know what, a guy I'm going
to settle down with a Mary needs to understand where
(01:22:58):
he is in life and where he's going in life.
He needs to have it together, yes, which was a
go getter, a roundabout way of saying, he's got cash.
I don't know a guy who has his issue together,
you know what I'm saying. And that's what you really want, right,
I mean, look at producer Sam. Can you pull a producer? Sam?
(01:23:18):
Is she listening in her studio? Sam? Can you hear us? Hi?
There you go. So you've been dating William for five years? Yeah,
and he's been going to medical school right. Yeah, he
only started his doctor to physical therapy two years ago,
so it was three years before that with no school
whatsoever and no money. Now it's arguably better and arguably
(01:23:39):
worse because he's in so much debt right because of
this damn program with no income yet. But look what
he has. He may not have a lot of money
in the bank or any money, I don't know, but
he has drive, he has focus, he has a journey
that he's clearly on and it's very well defined. And
uh god, that's that's a turn on right there. Oh,
(01:23:59):
that was like my first thing. I was super attracted
to him with He was just so dedicated to the
things he was passionate about and he was going to
get them done one way or another. So even though
we're together for years and he's getting rejected by school
after school, after school, I'm like, get sorry, babe, do
you this is this is actually their problem. It's not yours.
They're messing up, not you. You're perfect, You're awesome, Keep
(01:24:19):
going well, Megan line twenty four. Megan has a requirement.
It's not money, right, You have a requirement and a guy. Yeah.
My requirement was always tall, like six foot plus. Yeah. Uh,
but then I ended up I met a really really
great guy who actually is only five seven. Wow. Hey, yeah,
(01:24:41):
so it goes It goes back to what I was
saying earlier. It's kind of weird to have all these
requirements until you meet the right person, and then a
lot of those requirements are they're flushed out the thrown
out the window, you know. Oh yeah, and he's fantastic. Um,
so you know, we just don't use the top cupboards
in our house. And it's oh god, Megan, I was
(01:25:06):
so Indian all right, Megan, thank you for listening. You
have a great day. Okay, Yeah, scary what I think
that having a lot of money does solve a lot
of problems. I know, I know it doesn't solve all
your problems. But if you want to sit back and
find the rich dude, I think that that's those are
(01:25:27):
goals and I do and I know women out there
that are that are looking for that, and I do
not fault them for it. Why not make your life
easier in the long run, less stress, less anxiety. Well,
I know the issue with marrying is someone from money
is what happens when they lose their money? What happens
to that relationship? Love them? Are they going to be
there for you on the tough nights? Are they just
(01:25:48):
the next one you're just trying to No, he's not serious,
it's really not working. Yeah, Froggy. I just see it
as where I don't know that diamond. Diamond said it
wasn't a prerequisite, it wasn't a requirement. I think she's
got a list of maybe, let's just say ten things.
If if that's one of them, that's okay, But she
(01:26:09):
said it's not. She would an outlaw somebody because of it.
But when you start with trying to look for somebody,
you got ten things that you'd like. If they meet
seven of them, and that's not one of them. I
think she's still fine with it. But they have that
that's a plus as well too. And I want to
make it very clear. My height requirement is not the
same as everyone else's. I don't like tall men, So
(01:26:30):
there we go. You don't have to be tall, but
you know, there you go. Yeah that alone, you're saying,
he must be sure, no, but like, okay, I'm done.
One thing though, on her behalf, she did not ever
say that she wanted a rich guy so she could
(01:26:50):
sit back. Diamond is definitely ambitious and she wants to work.
She said she wants somebody who can match her. So
I do understand that a little bit. I'm just saying
that I think men throughout time, as far as you know,
America goes and a lot of other places have always
taken care of women and they haven't complained about it.
And now if women are in the position to do
the same thing, I just don't understand so many people
(01:27:11):
complaining about it. When we are taking jobs now, which
is great, we're not making as much as you guys,
But we're taking fifty percent of the job force, right,
So why should we expect everybody to keep having these
amazing jobs when we want them too, and not take
care of someone? Wow, there's your Gandhi. It's so hard,
you know me, I can argue with almost anyone about anything,
(01:27:34):
but I just cannot argue with Gandhi. I'm like, okay,
now argue. I feel like I just call this Yeah. Yeah.
We were going back and forth about it, and just
like kind of what I'm done Now, I'm glad we
have just talked to Diamond. We love you no matter
how wealthy your husband's going to be. Come on, let's
get into a sound with Garrett. Garrett, how do I
follow this? I mean, yes, the rich sound? All right,
(01:27:58):
let's start with this. I showed this over the week
and Danielle, I know you love to watch bits from
the Tonight Show. So Kid Harrington, he cannot sing, he
cannot play the piano. So Jimmy Fallon has been pitching
this idea for the last six years. To guess, they've
all turned them down. Kid Harrington said, I'll do it.
I'll sit down and I'll sing my heart out to
drops of Jupiter from train sits ton of a stay
(01:28:18):
on the Moon. She left lock Spring when she talks Dune. Hey, hey,
I think we should do this. I think the Morning
Show should just go for it too. We all we
do every day, honey, All right. So Machine Gun Kelly
put out a new album last week and has a
(01:28:41):
song with Travis Barker. It's called paper Cuts. Sounds like this,
please my head, mess it up, take my right, jess up,
signed a deal. I got paper Cuts. They wanted down,
but they got lock right there before you. And kind
(01:29:02):
of interesting to Travis Barker getting on an airplane for
the first time since his accident with Courtney Kardashian over
the weekend too. So, um, let's talk about this awkward
moment between Kevin Hart and Don Cheatle. So Kevin Hart
has his show Heart to Heart, sits down with celebrities,
drink some wine and they chat. Kevin Hart made a
joke about his age what he thought was a reaction
to his age, but Don Cheetle took it as a
(01:29:23):
joke and he got awkward. But at the same time,
like I said, in me, you know, I'm fifty six
years old. Damn I'm sorry. I'm sorry because it was
a thought. No, I'm seriously, it was a thought. It
was a thought, and I blurted it out. Okay, but
just understand I didn't mean it the way it came
out on how you meant it with people here later
(01:29:46):
after the show's over. But I can sit up here
honestly say buddy that that was from a place I love,
got it. I damn, you're old. Damn all right, I
heard it. Let's anybody in this room ever sneak out
of the house when they were living with their parents. Hell, yeah, yeah, yes,
I never I was. I was a good kid. Um
(01:30:08):
all right, So this kid was sneaking out of the house.
Dad caught onto it and set Alexa to to let
his son know, Hey, we caught you, Jesse. Next time,
just say you want to go out so you don't
need to climb through a window with all your friends.
I haven't even had fun. We're safe and didn't crack
your pants when I started talking. I make go viral
(01:30:30):
onto this. Thanks for the content. Him and his friends
were like, uh, that's kind of cool but also weird
at the same time. Yes, and then finally this is
going viral. Over the weekend to people are calling this
the worst yodeling ever, so bad. Oh wait, okay, but
(01:31:01):
let's be honest. What what yodling is good? I think
her own hair. Yeah, kid Harrington can be a better
year older. We have a we have a yoler. Where's
my yodlers? Cary? Do you have her? Yes? We used
to start to show with this lady all the time.
Remember the yodeling woman. Ye, yes, hit it scary. Had
to bump it here, Here it comes. You're gonna love it? Sure?
When he said, when you give it, play it any
(01:31:23):
moment we have it, will play it? Here she goes,
Ready love her? Here she goes. Let day used to
(01:31:57):
use when you were running late? Yes, yes, have you
heard this song at six o'clock? You know I'm late
for the show? Stan waiting for Elms coming around that
quarter at Oh no, all right, thank you, turn it off,
(01:32:18):
turner off. Danielle's coming up next. What do you have, Danielle? Obvious?
See what am I going to talk about? Let's talk
about Johnny Depp. Oh boy, he says, losing that case
has gotten him blackballed. All right, and thank you, Garrett.
You're going to America. We'll be back after this. I'm Sarah.
Thank you for listening to us, and I've been listening
for over twenty years. This is insane to me. Show
(01:32:40):

your bed, bottle of the wine you choose. You make

(01:34:04):
Jarrett from Proud FM in Toronto is here. Welcome to
Welcome back to New York. Well, thank you, thank you.
It's like an honor to be here. You know. It's
it's kind of funny because Proud FM. I've been such
a fan of that radio station for so long, listening
online all the time, and then when when Jarrett made
the call and said, hey, will you be our morning show,
I'm like, stop it, get the f out of here.
(01:34:26):
And here we are in Toronto, one of the most
exciting cities in North America, and on such a great
sounding radio station. And it's all because of you, Jared.
Jared runs the station and you guys make the station.
I mean it's the best, Like you guys say, the best.
So we're real to have you as our official morning show. Well,
so how are we doing? I mean, I mean, do
people in Toronto really want a bunch of loud mouths
(01:34:48):
from south of the border. Yeah, they got to put
up with me too, So we're a good company. Wow,
it's so great, it's so fantastic. And I'm like, wait
a minute, are they leading Canadians back in our country again?
Just last week? I think that last week. Yes, yes,
it's we got to go through a lot though. We
have to take You have to be double vaccinated. You
have to have a COVID test before you leave and
(01:35:10):
the COVID test before you go back. So I had
to do my COVID test right on Broadway in New York. Oh,
you're going back to Canada tomorrow? Unfortunately, Yes, I have
to go back to Oh well, we have a new thing.
We have to do the anal check. So make make
check Jarrett, make sure he's ready for the trapper. Get
(01:35:30):
this job. Go south of the border. If you know
what I'm saying. There you go anyway, So interesting story
about Jared Jarrett. Your last vacation was to New York
right before the lockdown, a year and a half ago,
right it was, it was, and uh, yeah, it's it's
very New York is very different. It's sad to see
so many businesses close, some really big places, and uh
(01:35:51):
but I you know, you positive. I think all these
places are going to come back in two three years.
It's just gonna be a different normal. But yeah, it's
definitely a different looking city from when it was when
I was last year for unfortune. How's Toronto doing. Toronto's great,
Toronto's great. Everybody's gonna come visit Toronto. It's fantastic place,
fantastic place. The weather's nice. New York I can't believe
I'll hot it's been here, Oh my gosh. And it stinks.
(01:36:13):
You know, the New York already has a stink to it,
a stink, but when you add a heat to it,
it's like, yes, yes, interesting smells for sure, for sure.
But you know what they say about New York. When
it rains, it makes its own gravy out. Guy, they're
in the front of the building welcoming you today. No,
they were all in front of my hotel. Nothing around
(01:36:34):
here though. You didn't meet Rip vn Stinkle up front,
but no I did not. He's waiting for you, Ela, Rip.
I'll be there in a minute, honey. I will look
whenever in Toronto or even not. Listen to Proud FM.
What a great radio station. I listen every day when
I'm cooking. It's on in the kitchen right there on
my little echo or the box is called what is
(01:36:56):
that thing? Anyway? I love it and I hope you
have a great time, Jared, and thanks for having us
on on Proud of Him. Hey, thank you guys a pleasure,
and thank you for allowing me being your second visitor
here in studio. That's right, that's right. Who was the
first Bobby play? Oh my god, I think we had
more fun with you. I love Bobby. Hey. You know
(01:37:17):
the New York City Wine and Food festivals coming up
last year we had to sit out, of course, But
the year before we hosted the Elvis Strain Morning Show
night and it was a sellout. It was wow. Thank
god there was no pandemic then, because that would have
been a super spreader. Jeez, and we had We had
just a great time, all the best restaurants. So we're
doing it again this year. And of course they will
have heavy, heavy duty COVID regulations in a place, but
(01:37:42):
we want you there. So it's Italian food. It's all
Italian night at the Elvis Strain Morning Show Wine and
Food Festival event. All of our favorite Italian restaurants will
be there and our favorite chefs. If you want to come,
we're gonna tell you all about it. Our friend Lee Shrager,
who runs the Wine and Food Festival not only here
in New York but in Miami. We're gonna have him
on just a few minutes. Danielle, you want to get
into it? Sure? All right? What do you have going on?
(01:38:03):
All right? So Ryan Reynolds, his Free Guy movie, made
twenty eight point four million dollars at the box office
in its opening weekend. Now, a lot of people were
surprised at this because they're like, wait a minute, it
was only supposed to make like fifteen to nineteen million,
and it made a lot more. And they're saying it
was because of word of mouth ninety five on Rotten
Tomatoes and also an a on Cinema score, and I
(01:38:24):
know a lot of people on our show saw it
and they loved it, so it definitely got word of mouth.
So it's exciting, excutting for him. Billie Eilish spending the
second week in number one, happier than ever number one
on the Billboard two hundred album charts, so congratulations to her.
Johnny Depp feels like he is being boycotted by Hollywood.
He says that it's all because of losing that libel case.
(01:38:45):
He said, you know, it's just ridiculous. And he says
that he is going to come back and he is
going to bring things to light. I don't know exactly
what he means by that, but I guess we'll see.
But he really feels like his latest movie didn't even
get played in the US because he lost this case.
That's how he's feeling. Jennifer Lopez has finally made the
breakup with a Rod complete how she scrubbed him off
(01:39:08):
of her Instagram everybody, he is not there anymore. She
has unfollowed him. I have been going through pictures NonStop
to try and make sure that she didn't forget any
and it looks like she got most of them, so yes,
I am trolling, but she has not been able to
get rid of all the IGTV videos. I think that
must be a little bit different. But he still follows her.
(01:39:29):
As of when I last checked, he was still following her.
But it could be different now. Kelly Clarkson, one day
after a judge upheld her preen up and said, Yep,
whatever you guys agreed upon before you got married, it's staying.
She went to Vegas and she was celebrating with two girlfriends.
She went to see George Strait in concert. Tonight on television,
You've got season three of hard Over on HBO Max.
(01:39:51):
You also have Bachelor in Paradise this season premiere there
and of course a little American Ninja Barria for you.
And that is my Danielle Report. And we're back after this.
We're watching everything you text. It's scary. Someone just texted in.
I sniffed seats when people get up. Oh standard, Dana,
(01:40:11):
and messaging rates may apply. Elvis Strand in the Morning Show, Hey,
it's scary, Jones. State Farm is the real deal when
it comes to car and home insurance. For personalized service
and an award winning easy to use mobile app just
part of what makes their rates so surprisingly great. So
when you want the real deal, like a good neighbor
state farm is there. Yo. It's just incredible because here
(01:40:37):
we are living in the city with the best restaurants
known to man. Uh. Lee Schrager, my best buddy, of course,
organizes this every single time, and you do such a
beautiful job. Lee, congratulations ahead of time. I can't wait
to be a part of it. Well, Elvis, we can't
wait to have you in the whole morning show part
of it on October. Yeah, October fifteenth. Oh, this is
(01:40:58):
a bad cell we have all right, we'll get through
this alive. You're on the Hamptons. They don't have seal
service out there, do they? Clearly not. We can't afford
a house phone. I know it is fourth house. Hey.
So uh, last time we did it two years ago,
it was a sellout, the Elvis Drain Morning Show event
at the Wind and Food Festival. I mean it was huge. Uh.
(01:41:21):
This year it's going to be almost as huge. But
of course we have to take precautions and we'll get
into that in a moment. Now, what's our theme this year?
Tell me all about it. Well, your theme is one
of your favorite teams it's all about the taste of
Italy and it's remember last time was tied to your book,
So I'm hoping you have another book out this year
in October. Well let me let me rush that out
(01:41:44):
real quickly. So there must be something left to you,
a story that wasn't said last time. Oh yeah, and
you're you're, you're going to be in the next book
leaves just you way. Uh so yeah, our favorite Italian
chefs and restaurants from around the area will be involved,
and it's going to be it's October seventh, is that
the date? It's Friday, October fifteenth at Pier seventy six,
(01:42:07):
which is the home of the Intrepid Museum. So it's
a brand new setting. We're going to have twenty five
of the best New York City restaurants where guests you know,
can enjoy a feast of authentic Italian dishes, complete with
side dishes, desserts, fears, wine, spirits, so everything to make
for a perfect night for one of your first nights
back out in New York City. Supporting hunger absolutely's and
(01:42:29):
that's the key here. Not only are we getting together
to eat great food and hang out with each other,
but we are feeding people in New York City. Talk
about it, lead tell them what the entire food winding
food festivals about. Well, for the past thirteen years we
had benefited the Food Bank of New York City, and
moving forward, we are benefiting benefiting the Food Bank for
New York City and God's Love we deliver one of
(01:42:51):
my favorite charities, and they're going to be a new
partner of ours and they're bringing new life and new
energy and new partners into our festival. So we're really
excited to be supporting hunger and feeding New York City
with God's Love we deliver. Of course, our event will
be the premier King of All events at the Wine
and Food Festival, but there are there's also You're also
(01:43:11):
do the Burger Bash, I mean, talk about the other
events people can go online and purchase tickets for. Well,
you're right, yours is a premiere event, as we know,
Elvis in your mind, it's a premiere event, of course.
But you know we're kicking off with Rachel Ray hosting
her Burger Bash one Thursday night, your event on Friday night,
we have a Gold Belly Best of New York City
(01:43:33):
event on Saturday night with all your favorite foods from
gold Belly in New York City. Sunday night, we have
a big barbecue hosted by Andrew Zimmern with Pat Lafreda meets.
We have about twenty four different dinners. We have a
whole grunt series. We have master classes where you can
learn how to bake or a cook or roast. We
have line seminars, so there's really something for everyone. There's
(01:43:55):
a kid's ice cream family event, ice cream events, family
events of a pizza event. Over in Brooklyn, we have
a drag event and I know how you love a
good drag event, and it's being hosted by Murray Hill
and Willem, one of the top drag performers from Rue Paul.
So that being a special guest appearance by Willem, but
(01:44:16):
it's really hosted by Neil Patrick Harrison Dave that I
should say. Yeah, Yeah, that's gonna be a lot of fun. Look,
you know, the New York City Wine and Food Festival
is just a party every year, and this year we're
doing it safely. Now, how we make sure our listeners
are safe at our event? Well, this year what we
are doing for obvious reasons, we don't know it's need
to get into but you need you. All attendees must
(01:44:38):
complete a health screening survey and provide proof of full
vaccination status. So you either need to be fully vaccinated
or having negative test seventy two hours before every event
that you're attending. So if you get a test on Thursday,
that will be good for you know, Thursday, Friday, Saturday,
but it won't be good for Sunday. So the easiest
(01:44:58):
thing to do without me preach to your wide audience
is to get vaccinated. But if you can't get vaccinated
for any reason, you need a proof of a negative
test seventy two hours beforehand. Okay, good. You know we
usually don't like negativity, but when it comes to test
like negativity, yes, for a minute. Gosh, remember we actually
(01:45:18):
hosted the Burger Bash last year, didn't we didn't we
do the Burger Bash? We did? Yeah, we did, and
we ate how many Gandhi Daniel, how many cheeseburgers we
eat that? Now there were five, but they were so
enormous it felt like twenty five. And I think Scary
took all of his down yes, and the ones that
they didn't need. Yea. The problem is you start with
(01:45:39):
the first one and it's so good and you just
keep eating it forgetting that you have like four more
to go, and you're like, oh no, no behind, no
burger left, no burgers left. You're right, you hosted the
virtual Burger Bash that we did over at great performances.
You're right, yes about all about that last year for
obvious reasons, we went virtual and all you guys were
(01:46:00):
so good to come out and you know, help us
videos go live. We streamed the Burger Bash last year.
I hope we don't have to do that again, but
we are happy to be back with the Burger Bash
twenty five live, you know, twenty five burghers being prepared
on that Thursday night, October fourteenth. Okay, so again we
are doing our events, the Elvis Training Morning Show Italian
(01:46:21):
Event we'll call it. That is on Friday, October fifteenth. Correct,
you're eighty six? What the Intrepid is exactly and all
the information you need is online right now at NYCWFF
dot org. Is that it is that? Right? That is it?
Tickets are on sale today as we speak, people of
