(00:44):
Here's the Fans. Paul Charchi in Welcome to the show.
Early edition of Fantasy Football Weekly. I know the podcasters
out there love it. They love it. Uh. It means
because Tony is here as a while Tony normally very
prompt on the on the delivery of the podcast anyway,
(01:04):
but that means people roll out of bed shows ready
to go. Today. It's getting cooler, it is getting hard.
It's darker as well. It makes a difference for me.
I can jump out of bed when it's so when
it's bright out at an early hour, but it's it's
a lot harder. Um a peek into my my, my
home life that you don't want. Oh God, here it comes.
(01:26):
I recycle paper because I go through a lot of
paper like notes for the show, but I don't need, right,
so I use them one time. And I have a
stack of paper that I used to just recycle and
print print future basically garbage on when for things like
notes for the show. Paul Charchy and tree Hugger. What
we're cheap depending on how you look at it, right,
(01:47):
And so I got I'm almost to the very bottom
what was a very tall stack of recycling, and I've
gotten to the I've gotten to the point that I'm
I'm printing on the back of my twenty fifteen cheat
sheets that I had brought to the fair or something
I didn't end up getting used, and I brought home
to use the backs up blest from the past. Right here,
(02:08):
I'm guessing it is. Listen to the top ten running
backs that was That was early leavy On Bell was
number one, Eddie Lacy was number two, Adrian Peterson was
number three, Marshawn Lynch, then Jamal Charles, that Matt Forte,
(02:29):
Jeremy Hill, DeMarco Murray, Justine No, and Frank Gore Baltimore.
Just yeah, So now what do you suppose where do
you suppose I'm headed with this? This is top ten
on my chee, which presumably was very close to most people.
(02:52):
That was three years ago. And dynasty cycle through those
running backs, isn't that the truth? How many of them
are worth anything now, let alone inside their top ten?
None if you don't include Levy on Bell, are worth
our in our top tens anymore. Adrian Peterson is rosterable,
(03:12):
Marshawn Lynch's roster bolt. I believe so. Some don't, but
I believe he's rosterable. And that's it. So let me
ask you this, char Yes, you have Dalvin Cook in
a dynasty league that we're in. Yes, how many years
of Dalvin Cook? Do you hang on too before you're like,
all right, it's time to move? Is it? Is it?
(03:34):
Three years? It is about it? Really? I mean unless
you have an Adrian Peterson level of talent, you know,
then an Emmett Smith level of talent a decade the
rare decade long running back, Yeah you gotta you see yourselves.
Point is about three years into that running backs life interesting.
Running backs are basically apple products. Yeah, they really are.
It's a great way to put here's the here's the
(03:56):
wide receivers from twenty fifteen. Cheat cheet and Tonio Brown,
ding Ding, Dez Bryant out, Julio Jones, ding Ding, Odell
Beckham ding Ding, Jordy Nelson out, Randall Cobb functional, Damarus
Thomas still Usable, A. J. Green ding Ding, Calvin Johnson retired,
(04:23):
Mike Evans. Do you see the point. I'm just glad
you didn't say anymore. It's it's here, and now people
are gonna think to themselves, well, there's certainly no allegory
for do the opposite, because that's just a one year thing.
But the point is, half of these running backs fail
(04:44):
in that current year. Some of them wait enough the
year or two. You know, this is a three year sample,
but half of the running backs end up failing that
in that very same year. The wide receivers never do,
let's do kickers. Let's plenty to get to over the
course of the show. But first, thanks to our decade
long sponsored grain Belt Premium, the official be our fantasy football,
(05:06):
don't forget to play the free crutch Charts Challenge at
grain belt dot com your chance to win two thousand
dollars and a trip to man He's Steakhouse for our
Big Winners Banquet in January many thanks to our friends
at the Brewery Sean Ryan, Brett, Moss Lee Windinger, along
with the owners Ted and Jody Marty, and from Manny's
general manager Dave Wilson for making that amazing contest possible.
(05:29):
Go to grain belt dot com set a roster against me. Now,
all right, let's let's move on to our matchups, beginning
with Cincinnati taking on Carolina. Brian, We're gonna have a
new running back for the Cincinnati Bengals. He willna Yeah,
Gio Bernard, Yes, Gio Bernard will be the lead back
on Sunday. Um. Since Joe Mixon was drafted last year,
(05:51):
he's missed four games. In those games, Geo has average
twenty touches and over a hundred combo yards, so um,
he'll be in for a lot of work in this game.
Game Caroline has allowed just eight receptions for forty three
yards running back so far. Uh and their secondaries with
their weakness not their run defense. So it's not a
perfect spot for Geo. But he's certainly starvable in this game.
So he gets a B over the passing game A
(06:12):
J green and obvious A and I'm gonna give him
the B C D E F g h I and
the j He's gonna have that good game in this
The Panthers have surrender just one touchdown through the air
to wide receivers. But that's actually that's if you actually
think that, like the Cowboys have actual wide receivers on
their team, which they don't. One of the teams that
the Panthers have faced, Green is one of seven wide
(06:32):
receivers but at least target share and James Bradberry and
Dante Jackson do not stand a chance covering him. So
he's in a great spot, as is Tyler Boyd. I'm
gonna give him a B and he's a nice play
on fan ball this week at forty seven dollars. Uh
charges rolling his eyes at Tyler. Yeah, yeah, I don't.
I don't see the fascination picked up in all my
leagues this week. I'm not. We know what Tyler Boyd's
(06:54):
all about. And it's two good games a year and
you just had it last week. All right, Well, he's
gonna be running up against old man Monolin in the
who's allowing an eighty percent opposing catch ery six worth
amongst among all cornerbacks. So I like Vikings got out
of captain Manroland at the right time, So I'm linking
Boyd this week he gets to the b Tyler Effort.
I can't get to see borderline bench from me though. Um.
And here's why, Um, the Bengals had allowed I'm sorry.
(07:18):
The Panthers have allowed to tight end touchdown in four
of the last seven games. But over the past two seasons,
only five opposing tight ends up topped forty yards, and
guys like zach Ertztrade Burton, George Kittle were held under
thirty yards. And Effort is healthy, so you attempted to
play him. But I'm worried about c j uzoma a
k A. The Oozy uh Oozy played in fifty of
the snaps last week, Eyffort played in sixt wuz he
(07:39):
saw just as many targets and finished finished with more
catches and yards and effort, So he's starting to eat
into Iffort's workload. So yeah, we thought Effort would be
um one of those guys you could get late in
your draft and you might get away with something, and
this would be a plausible start. He's been brutal through
two games and and you don't like him in this
one either. And lastly, for since the UH. Andy Dalton
gets a b UH. He's looking really good so far
(08:01):
since Bill Laser took over as O C for since
about a year ago, Dalton has average two touchdowns per game,
and this revamped line has made a huge difference. Last year,
Dalton was getting sacks two and a half times the game.
Has only been sacked once in each game so far
this year. So he has time to throw and he's
taking advantage of it. A note on that line, Billy Price,
I don't believe it's gonna play in this one. So
they're they're they're trending closer to last year's line in
(08:22):
this game, So a note of caution there. Fair point,
fair point. Thomas Davis out for Carolina. By the way,
that is also helpful for the Bengals. Over to UH.
The Panthers real quick with Christian McCaffrey gets an A.
Bengals are allowing nine catches per game to running backs.
Christian McCaffrey is fifth among all players and target share percentage,
garnering thirty four percent of Carolina's targets. Essentially a wide receiver,
(08:43):
he gets an A in this game, even only it's
eighteen carries so far. On the season. Devin Functious, I'm
gonna give a B. William Jackson is a very legit
corner for the Bengals. He's get to allow over sixty
yards and coverage, but he's pretty much planted on the
right side. On the left side, I'm sorry, Funchus runs
mainly on the left, can run from the slow, so
move them around to avoid Jackson. I like bunchets in
this game with a B, and we'll give Cam Newton a.
(09:04):
Both quarterbacks to face. The Bengals have top three hundred yards,
but it's taken fifty three and fifty five passes to
get there. UH. Newton has totally the hundred rushing yards
so far, which is more than Melbourne Gordon, David Johnson,
Derrick Henry, Dalvin Cook and Alvin Kamara and mobile quarterbacks
have had success against since the last year Deshaun Watson
scored UH, Deshon Kaiser ran in touchdown and Marcus s
Mariota at over fifty one yards, So Cam will do
(09:26):
be a dual threaten this one. UM. It's shocking how
few rushing yards the elite rushers have and that's why
part of why Matt Brida's your number one rushier. Philip
Lindsay I think is number three in total yards. It's
um the elite rushers. You've gotten some touchdowns that have
bailed us out. Alvin Kamaris scored three times. Todd Gurley
(09:47):
I think has four touchdowns, but you haven't. You haven't
gotten the yardage from from your big hit or it's
that you took at the top of the first round.
Let's go to Dallas taking down the Seattle Seahawks. UM.
For Dallas, this story, UM is an normally just all
about Zeke, but it's a shattered and tattered Seattle defense.
So what do you think about the Dallas passing offense.
(10:08):
It's a shattered and Dallas passing offense. I didn't need.
It's the worst part. Did give Dak Prescott a C grade.
While I don't trust any of Deck's weapons in the
passing game, the Seahawks did make both case Keenum and
Mitchell Trubisky viable fantasy quarterbacks, and Traubinsky is the more
mobile of the two. He ended up with five carries
for twenty four yards against the Hawks, although it's worth
(10:30):
noting that the last rushing touchdown Seattle allowed to a
quarterback was Tyrod Taylor in Week nine of two thousand sixteen.
That was twenty six games ago. That was also twenty
six defenders ago. Yeah. Man, the Brown's backup quarterback did that. Yeah,
the Brown's backup totally did that. So Cole Beasley and
the rest of the passing game is on the bench.
He's questionable with an ankle injury. Anyway. He only has
(10:52):
one more target than Ezekiel Elliott, who gets a B.
He's averaging twenty touches per game, but it's only a
BEE because the Seahawks have actually been k against the run,
only three point seven yards per carrying no rushing touchdowns
this season. They did give up one through the air.
But I still like Zeke as a B. On the
Seahawks side, there's not a lot to like here either.
Um Russell Wilson's getting a C grade for me. Dallas's
(11:16):
past defense is actually legit. They've held Cam and Eli
to an average of two or twenty yards and only
one passing touchdown in the two games you can hope
for Cam's numbers of one six one through the air,
and fifty eight plus a touchdown on the ground for
Russell that's extremely specific. Yeah, the ground attack is the
only reason that Wilson would crack a lineup. But he's
(11:37):
only had five rushing attempts on the year. He averaged
six per game last year. They're not running here either.
Uh And so Seattle's allowed allowed a league high twelve
sacks this year so far, and Doug Baldwin is still
it's just a mess there. Right now, I am giving
a C grade to Will dis Lee, though I'm coming
around on this Will dis Lee character. He's had five targets,
(11:57):
he's had three receptions, he's had a touchdown in both
of the games so far this season, and the Cowboys
have only given up one passing score this year, and
it was the Evan Ingraham. So if you're desperate, you
can sneak Disley into your lineup with a C minus
minus grade. The old last rookie tight endre scoring his
first two games, Golden Gopher Matt Spaith, our own Tom
(12:21):
deer Burger and ball up. I went to high school
football game last night. Matt Spaith was inducted into the
Hall of Fame school football game. How about that's all
coming up space? How how are you donners there? More?
H Tyler Lockett and Brandon Marshall are on the bench.
The set of corners held Devin Funchius and O'Dell Beckham
out of the end zone and under fifty five yards.
(12:42):
Marshall is in top seventy yards since and the running
backs are a disaster. You want to stay away from them.
They are splitting touches four ways right now. Just stay away.
When we come back, we'll tell you about green Bay
and Washington. Is this the game where you dare start
to Jimmy Graham again? Is he is this a roll
as he? It possible? What do you do about the
backfield for the Green Bay Packers? Jamal Williams, Aaron Jones
(13:04):
is back. We'll tell you when we come back. It's
(13:25):
um I was kind of call it sort of the
Yanni version, but it's way to upbeat for Johnny, like
John Tesh. It's not the chipmunks, it's all the matter
in fact there it's a chance there'll be no chipmunks
this year. That would have something to do with it.
Thanks Tony. Uh. Now you'd have to find the chipmunks,
(13:49):
and that revolves work and that rules you out. Alright.
It's two weeks in a row cheap shot number two.
Take a chance to me nine players not normally in
your starting lineup, many of whom are available off of
the waiver wire. We begin at the quarterback position, and
Brian Johnson, all right, you pressured me into this. I'm
taking Eli Manning at Houston Texans. I pressured you into it.
How we'll talk about that later. Okay, this will be
(14:12):
the only take a chance in the quarterback who will
be in the Hall of Fame someday. That is correct,
But the Texans aren't that good against the past. Rank
three against them against the past by football outsiders right now.
They were twenty five last year. Notable games by Eli
l quarterbacks against Houston last year to Kobe Brissette yards
two touchdowns, Blaine Gabbert, I know they are, and then
(14:34):
Blake Bortles and three last year. You're illuminating his point Church.
And let's just not forget that Eli does have a
shaky offensive wine, but he does have Odell Beckham, Sae
Kwon Barkley, and Evan Ingram, So he's gonna cobble together
two and two at least in this game. All Right, Matt,
I got Joe Flacco going up against the Broncos. Both
quarterbacks to face the Broncos this season have put up
(14:57):
at least two eight yards. Nine of the last eleven
quarterbacks to face the Broncos of top two eighty seven
of those nine have thrown for multiple scores. Flacco put
up two thirty six and three and three seventy six
and two in the first two games of the season.
That all works together to mean he's gonna get to
eighty and two in this game. No problem. Ryan Tannehill.
(15:18):
The six hundred day layoff between starts and what has
he done? Multiple touchdowns in both games this year? Not
too bad? Who know, you could have recently thought he
needed to shake the rust off a little bit or
knocked the rust off. Apparently not in both of his
games um and so far multiple touchdowns I mentioned and
now maybe the most favorable secondary of all of them,
(15:42):
Oakland at home. No less, and not only is his
two and two touchdowns impressive. Seventy three completion rate for
Ryan Tannehill. Now, he's not a volume guy, and that
always worries me. He's you know, passes, so he's got
to make good on those passes. But he sent it
to this point and Honestly, the cornerbacks for the Raiders
(16:03):
Leon Hall is eighty two years old, Garan Conley and
Rashaan Melvin. Ah And by the way, Tannil is not
gonna be pressured in this game Oakland. Oakland is registered
two sacks on the season. So Taniel will have time,
he'll find, he'll find his receivers, and I think he'll
be startable here. Let's go to the running back position.
Brian I got Chicago's Treek Cohen at Arizona against the Cardinals.
(16:27):
Opportunities have been a plenty for opposing running backs. They're
averaging thirty eight touches per game. Arizona has allowed twenty
five red zone touches running back so far. To put
that into perspective, the Browns and Jets have combined to
allow red zone touches and they have an extra game.
They have an extra game. Uh yeah, the Chicago defense
is gonna totally dominate this game. It's gonna be ball
(16:47):
control all day. There will be stuff left on the
table for Trek Cohen. He will surprise and shock. Really,
he's gonna a good game. Okay, I've got Corey Clement
versus India. This one's a bit of low hanging fruit.
So sinceide my top ten this week. Yeah, he's fanball
by the way, so that's cheap and he's inside Charches
Top ten. The Colts have allowed the most running back
(17:10):
receptions and the second most receiving yards to running backs
this year. And oh, by the way, j A. G
I and Darren Sprawls are out there. Starting quarterback is
coming back for his first game after an a c
L injury. Their left tackle still a little bit dinged up,
and the only other run around the roster is Wendell Smallwood.
Sounds like dump offs to Corey Clement all day long.
Um mine's also low hanging fruit, but I'm gonna go
(17:31):
with higher hanging fruit at the same time, we're gonna
hang them high and low. Wow. Uh. Latavius Murray and
Mike Boone are my answers, and I can really give
you the same description for both. Buffalo Is allowed six
touchdowns to running backs in their two games, including two
of them to the backups. We now that know that
Dalvin Cook is out, Latavius Murray's your starter, Mike Boon
(17:51):
should be your backup in this one. Mike and the
are seventeen point favorites, and they're facing a team that's
given up seventy eight points. The game script should be
very run heavy here. The Bills have allowed a rushing
touchdown in two backs in four their last five games
going back to last year, and two of the touchdowns
they've allowed backup running backs. I used Austin tackle or
(18:11):
is my guy last week? That worked out well in
this spot. Mike Boone as a deep dart throw. If
you're in a pinch, I'm telling it's fits plausible. Boone's
barn is gonna be flowing out. And I think you're right.
Let's go to the wide receiver position. I've got ted
Ginn at Atlanta. Gain is one of twenty wide receivers
with at least two hundred air yards so far this season.
He has more catches than Marvin Jones, Michael crab Sheet, Crabtree,
(18:34):
and Chris Hogan, to name a few, and starting in
Week sixteen of last year, when Gain had four catches
for seventy six yards and a touchdown against these Falcons again,
is out top seventy yards. Indoors scored a touchdown in
four of the last six games since and then so
like all right, you got Jared Cook going up against Miami,
the team leader and targets in Oaklands, Cook with sixteen
through two weeks. Here's a little bit of an advanced stat.
(18:56):
Derek Carr's average intended air yards a tree in the
intended area, how far past the line of scrimmage his
passes go before they're touched by a hand is five
point four yards. Terrible. That's the second lowest in the league.
To give you an idea, Pat Mahomes leads the league
with twelve on on on that so it's a perfect
dump off place to the tight end over and over again.
(19:18):
Miami hasn't allowed a tight end score yet, but this
season their bottom ten and receptions and yards to tight end,
and the last tight end to top a hundred yards
against the Dolphins was way back in Week nine of
last year. His name was Jared Cook eight for a
hundred and twenty six. My take a chance to me
wide receiver Pierre Garson, who has not scored a touchdown
(19:39):
in six hundred fifty one days. Pierre Garzone as usual,
He's been kind of invisible this year, just seventy eight
yards so far, but a phenomenal match up with Kansas city.
They've allowed the most receptions to receivers. They've allowed the
second most touchdowns to receivers. They've allowed the sixth most
yards to receiver. Garson moves all over the field, and
(20:02):
we'll often match up with Hello, that was very abrupt.
And we'll often match up with Orlando Scandrick who's playing
out of position, or Kendall Fuller who has been a
disaster in the slot. Good matchups for Pierre Garson, all
over the field. All right, now you can do the
the abrupt ending if you want, Tony, thank you. I
don't need to hear anymore of that one, that is
(20:23):
for sure. Let's sneak in a matchup, specifically Green Bay
taking on Washington. UH. Aaron Rodgers is an eight start.
I'm treating him based on what we saw it last
week as if he's at ninety efficacy for all the
rest of his starts until we know he's healthy. Um,
still not practicing as much as we'd like, But that's okay.
Let's go to his receiver's beginning with Davante Adams, Redskins
(20:45):
have allowed just nineties six yards two receivers. That's fourth
fewest and one measily three yard touchdown reception. That's all.
They've been a good they've been a good pass defense
and better than better than their actual talent level would see. Yes. Um, Fortunately,
Davante Adams has been very good to this point. He
(21:06):
has scored twice and average seventy six yards per game.
Adams can avoid Josh Norman anytime he wants because Norman
only plays one side of the field, so Adams can
just move left and go see Quentin Dunbar if they want.
And that may be the case, and that's why he
gets a B grade here. Randall Cobbs the other guy
who who I rather like in this one. He's got
a fantastic matchup out of the slot against maybe the
worst slot corner in the league. Fabian Moreau is his name. Um,
(21:31):
we know, cops not a regular touchdown scorer, but that's okay.
This is a This is the sort of game where
you could chip in seven eight receptions and should be
a strong PPR play B grade for Randall Cobb as well,
and then Gerona Wallis and also gets a C grade.
He'll probably get a lot of Josh Norman in this game,
but frankly, Josh Norman's not Josh Norman anymore. He's still good.
(21:53):
He's just not great. Um is he good? Is that good?
That's it? He's good. You know he would not be
Josh Norman will not be a starting cornerback on the
Minnesota Vikings. As one. As one measure of note, I
think Allison's fast, uh, and he could get past Norman
these days. I would. I'm not ruling out a long
downfield reception for the speedster Geronimo Allison. Let's go to
(22:16):
the let's go to the tight end position. Jimmy Graham
last week against the Redskins Indianapolis tight ends caught eight passes,
scored a touchdown. Graham was targeted eight times when he
played these same Redskins last year, well with Seattle only
targeted one time in the red zone so far this year,
which is weird. Do you think Jimmy Graham would get
one called back for a penalty in that game last week?
(22:37):
Eliminates one time? That eliminate, eliminates one. We'll go to
on the year. For for Jimmy Graham, you figure that
he's due to pick up some red zone receptions. This
feels like a good opportunity be grade for Jimmy Graham.
Jamal Williams slink slumps down to a C grade here.
The return of Aaron Jones is gonna sap some carries
from Williams. The Redskins just allowed Marlon Mack and Jordan
(22:58):
Wilkins to gain nine yards and almost five yards per carry,
so a two added monster can get it done a bit. Here,
the Cardinals backfield caught nine passes a week earlier, nine times,
nine times, nine times. Washington has also allowed a rushing
score to a running back in each of their last
four games going back to last year, and Williams is
(23:18):
the goal lineback or the presumed goal lineback, so there
are reasons to continue starting Jamal Williams even with Aaron Jones.
We're gonna leave Aaron Jones on the bench and just
monitor his usage for this week. Let's go to the
Washington side of this game. Chris Thompson A grade again.
I think I've given him a B and A and
an A in three games so far, and he has
been terrific currently almost worth the peacock church. Well, you
(23:41):
know what, just for you there he is. I was
you know, I was inferring that I'm just I'm just
gonna do it. I'm just gonna own it. He's up.
He's been terrific going through my my league's He's currently
between the number five and number nine running back in
my league's. Scoring systems change and fluctuate a little bit.
(24:02):
You can see the same for wide receivers too. You
probably ranks. Probably he's reading that ballpark as well. Thompson's
averaging six catches eighty six receiving yards and those are
wide receiver numbers. Six catches eighty six receiving yards. UH.
In his last six home games, Alex Smith has targeted
him twenty one times over the first two weeks of
the season. Green based twenty four yards per rush. Dalvin
(24:23):
Cook just put a fifty three receiving yards on them.
This is it all. It all feels like a great
game coming for Chris Thompson. He is an A. Adrian
Peterson is a B. Green Bay has allowed four point
nine yards per carry so far. I like that part.
Peterson still getting plenty of work. He won't chip in
much through the airs always, although he did have a
long catch and run last week. Let's go to the
(24:44):
passing game where Alex Smith gets a C grade. The
Packers handled Mitch Trabisky in the opener, but then they
got worked over by Kirk Cousins last week. So where
does Alex Smith fall between those two? Probably middle Cousins,
I think on that scale, on the t A Skey
Cousin scale. Um, I wish Smith had just more and
better weapons in in Washington, but he just doesn't. It
(25:07):
is a It's got a favorable matchup with Jamison Crowder, though,
And let's talk about Crowder, who also gets a C grade. Here.
He'll face rookie jayre Alexander, who got worked over by
Adam Thieland last week. And I don't think he's been terrible,
but Crowder has the advantage at this stage of their careers.
And Crowder would probably get a B grade, but he's
only got five passes so far this year, and I
don't understand that. And I'm worried that the change to
(25:27):
Alex Smith from Cousins means that Smith just isn't as
Crowder centric, maybe as Cousins was so C grade for Crowder.
And then the only other receiver of note, Jordan Reed,
who gets a B grade. Since the start of last season,
the package of allowed just three tight ends to top
forty eight yards, but one one was Kyle Rudolph last week.
(25:48):
Rudolph pulled down seven of eight targets for seventy two
yards just last week, and Read is currently third among
tight ends and catches, so a B grade for him.
When we come back, a bunch of matchups for you,
including Tennessee chaking on Jacksonville, the return of Leonard four net.
How does it impact Blake Portals? What about t J. Yeldon?
We'll tell you when we come back. This morning at

you need to pay for the five dollar contest. Matt,
would you like to clarify in any fashion you're getting
(27:48):
some inside baseball here about the inner workings of fan ball.
Is there anything you would like to add? I'd like
to add something. Please. You're you're covering the first entry
you can enter ten times, so nine more times you
can enter. Yeah, taking me to charge GPP charge. That
was perfect, Thank you, it was. There was so much
(28:09):
enthusiasm with that too. Couldn't be happier. Throbbing vain in
his forehead, Tennessee taking on Jacksonville. Blaine Gabbert may very
well be at helm again here. I'm I'm very nervous
that if you either get a one armed Marcus Mariota
or a two armed playing Gabbert and that's kind of
a push. Yeah, you're not playing either one of these quarterbacks. Well,
(28:30):
how about any of the receivers a two armed Blaine Gabbert? Uh?
I don't know. Come on, it's better than all right.
I'm off track here a Titans. This is gonna be quick.
Receiver's about right there, any receiver play. I would give
Corey Davis to see. If Jalen Ramsey sits, he's questionable
with an ankle injury. But if Ramsey starts, I got
(28:50):
Davis on the bench. Check this real quick. Corey Davis
has twenty targets, which is a lot. Dean Lewis has nine,
Delaney walker Head seven. Then every other player on the Titans.
Every other player has combined for twenty three targets compared
to Corey Davis twenty. So he's the guy, but not
in this matchup. Dion Lewis gonna give a seat. Jaguars
allowing receiving yards per games running back so far, Derrick
(29:13):
Henry has been incredibly ineffective. He's on the bench. So
I give Dean Lewis the sea. But this is an
awful matchup for the Titans. Not a lot. Going here
over to the Jacksonville side. Lineman come back, right, I think, yeah,
they're getting Conklin back, and uh well, Conklin is still
questionable with the knee and Dennis Kelly his backup and
is the backup left tackle in the backup right tackle
(29:35):
already ruled out. And then the other tackle I don't
think is coming back. So I mean they're heading the
right way, but they're not there yet. You don't want
any part of the Titans in this one. For the Jaguars.
Leonard four Neette still not sure if he'll play. If
he plays, I'll give him the see, but I will
encourage you to use someone else if you can. Tennessee
does have a good run defense. Only one running back
(29:55):
is toped eighty rushing yards in their last eighteen regular
season games. That was Todd Gurley pretty impression. Only four
rushing touchdowns allowed during that span. Four NET nineteen carries
for sixty nine nice yards in the first meeting last year,
or fourteen for forty in a touchdown. There's a pretty
serious floor here for four NET. So I'm a little concerned. Also,
they're giving up hundred seven rushing yards per game, so
(30:17):
you know, if four NET gets most are all the
work with Yelden Hurt. I still think there's a scenario
where Yeldon has a decent game here, but we just don't.
I just don't feel comfortable about him on that hamstring
yet because he's still not practicing in full. And I'm
I get, I get, you know, we've just seen makes
good strings go bad. Like I'd rather play Corey Grant
over look, and I love Corey. I love Corey, but
(30:39):
they don't. They won't play him. It doesn't sound like
you love Corey Grant that much. No, I like him
a lot. I think he's I think he's a ever.
It seems like something good happens every time he touches
the ball. Anyway, continue for the receiver's Heelan Cole looks
like the top option now for the Jaguars. Over his
last six games dating back to last season, Cole has
average five catches for ninety nine yards and half a
touchdown per game. Tennessee's secondaries there's all off spot, but
(31:00):
I'm still not going d D West Broker Dante Moncrieff.
Just can't trust either of those guys. Maybe decent DFS
dart throws, but um not giving them a starting grade
A s J. I had him on the bench as well. Uh,
Tennessee is tough against tight ends. Uh, the Jags aren't
gonna need to throw a lot in this game, basically
Tennessee's struggled mightily to score points. But you don't like
(31:22):
the running game either, Um, well, I don't like Leonard
four Nett because I don't think they need him to
carry the ball to many times in this game. I
think he's looking at ten to twelve carries and it's
going to be a platoon with Corey Graham. But that's
just what I think. And Blake Bortles, if Tennessee was
gonna score points, I out borderline give him an A
in this matchup because he's looked great Bortle, But I'm
(31:43):
just I'm gonna give him a B because again, he's
not gonna throw the ball board than thirty times in
this game. But it's pretty feasibly gets two to three touchdowns,
maybe one on the ground, So I'll give him a B. Alright,
let's go to Indianapolis going against Philadelphia. For for Andrew Luck,
I went back and watched all of his throws this
week just to make sure I was comfortable with where
he is. It's all short stuff. He has the lowest
(32:06):
A dot in the league that's the average distance of
throws or whatever, and it's it's right at or even
under five yards per throw, he's still a The arm
strength just isn't there. He's just not slinging the ball
around the field. I'm I am nervous about Andrew Luck
in this matchup. Yeah. I mentioned Derek Carr and his
area yards of five point four. Luck is five point three.
(32:26):
So but the good thing is his completion percentage is
a well above average seventy one point four percent, and
he faces a Philly defense that just lets Stu Beard
go for four eleven and four against him, and one
and fifty of those yards were shortish passes that went
for seventy five yard touchdowns, one to de Sean Jackson
(32:47):
and one to O. J. Howard. So there's some holes
in that secondary on the second level, so maybe these
short passes will work. I still gave Andrew Luck a
B grade this week. Uh t Y Hilton, I'm giving
him a B as well. He missed some practice this week,
but he scored in both games. He's had eleven targets
in both games, and most importantly, he's had four red
zone targets this year. And number one wide receivers have
(33:08):
just killed the Eagles. Julio D. Jacks and Mike Evans
all had huge games for tight end Eric Ebron as
a C grade in this game because Jack Doyle is out. Uh.
Doyle had fifteen targets in the first two weeks, Ebron
only had nine. Let's add in those targets to Eric
Ebron this week, plus Abrons had all the red zone
(33:28):
targets for the tight ends. He's becoming a favorite target
down near the stripe for Andrew Luck. We're gonna keep
the whole running game on the bench though, even though
Marlon Mack is out this week. Jordan Wilkins and Niheim Hines.
Wilkins led the trio last week in rushing attempts with twelve,
but Hines had the goal line work and the touchdown.
It's just murky there and I don't want any part
(33:49):
of it over on the Philly side. I gave Corey
Clement to take a chance on me. I'm giving him
a B grade, although I did hear that he has
a little bit of a hamstring injury, quad injury, quad injury. Uh.
That makes Wendel Smallwood kind of an option too. If
you're in a super deep league and in our Guillotine league,
I'm starting Wendel small Largest because we had a giant
(34:10):
and we're desperate, right, Yeah, you can't lose in a
guillotine league, whatever it takes. And then when they rule
out Smallwood right before kickoff, make sure you grab Josh Adams.
Well you should probably sabotage and back pick him up
right now. Carson Wentz, I'm giving him a C grade
in his first game back. India's held Andy Dalton and
Alex Smith too meager numbers, but it's hard to not
(34:31):
equate Dalton and Smith's abilities and weapons to Carson Wentz,
so he's probably in the two hundred range and a touchdown.
So I got Nelson agil Is a C grade this
week and Jordan Matthews, newly acquired back on the bench.
The weird thing here is agil ran most of his
routes from the slot, and due to injuries to Mike
Wallace and Alshon Jeffrey, they signed Matthews. Matthews played in
(34:52):
the Doug Peterson offense with Wentz in sixteen and ran
almost exclusively from the slot. And when you take al
Nelson agil Are out of the slot, he does nothing.
He's absolutely awful out of the slot. So I'm giving
him a C grade this week because I want to
wait and see what happens and Zach hurts he gets
an a uh, He's winces will be he has the
most tight end targets in the NFL. Easy A grade
(35:15):
Bills take on the Vikings. This will not take long.
There are no Bills to start and Lashawn McCoy probably
he's a coin flip of playing true game time decision
with his rib injury, but it doesn't matter. Outside of
a twenty seven yard run late last week. His other
carries this year of average two yards per carry. The
Vikings have not allow of running back to gain sixty
yards rushing this year, and only one top seventy four
(35:38):
rushing yards all of last year. And they were even
better at home. On the Viking side obvious A starts
for Kirk and Feeling and digs. The Bills have allowed
opposing quarterbacks to complete seventy five percent of their passes,
second worst in the league. Joe Flacco and Philip Rivers
each through three touchdowns before calling off the Dogs in
the second half. And that's something I do want to address.
(35:59):
Because I'm getting this to a bunch of this on
Twitter is well, I'm scared to start Kirk and Dealing
and Diggs because they're gonna they're gonna get up by
so many points and then they're gonna rest, to which
I say, how did they get up by so many points?
Seven defensive touchdowns? Well, yeah right, that's that's that's the
You already got your points. Sure they may only be
trying for three quarters, but apparently you already have their
(36:20):
points and that if that happens that way, So play
trivor Simeon if you're that scared. Yeah right, go for Simeon.
Kyle Rudolph gets A gets an A grade here as well.
Buffalo gave up the fourth most receptions to tight ends
last year, and in Week one, the uninspiring trio of
Baltimore tight ends combined for nine catches one hundred thirteen
yards against the Bills. So Kyle Rudolph in as well,
(36:43):
and I already mentioned Murray and Boone in might take
a chance on the segment. Both are strong starts. You
don't think Charles Charles Clay has a chance C grade
for Charles Clay, Why would I do that? Because he's
gonna be a top twelve tate end this week. Um,
if you want to give him a C grade. You
want to do? You want to tell people to take
Charles Clay? Yeah? Right, you should have the Vikings? Have
(37:05):
the Vikings given up a shocking amount of tight end
yards receptions? Yes? Does Charles Clay suck? Yes? Does Josh
Allen suck? Yes? I mean Charles Clay is is as nondescript.
He doesn't suck utterly nondescript. Josh Allen is terrible at
this stage of his career. He starts in one start. Eric. Hello, Yeah,
(37:29):
this is Eric. I got a question. Yes, in the
Dynasty League, who would you rather have going forward? For
NET or Joe Mixon? Well good, We've got the guy
who maintains our Dynasty League player rankings and trade value
chart right here on the show. I think I have
for NET as a slightly higher grade, but I haven't
updated it in about a week, and I think that's
getting closer and closer. That gap is shrinking very quickly.
(37:53):
So it's four NET, but it's it's very close. Thank you,
Thank you. Read an interesting story from um I think
I saw on Reddit from a doctor who really broke
down four nets hamstringline online doctor um and doctor said basically,
these the now recurrence of hamstring injuries with four net
(38:14):
is extremely troubling and very likely portends a shortened career
and ongoing hamstring problems for him. I don't know if
it's true or not, but that's what they said. We'll
see when we come back. The Giants taking on the Texans.
We've been waiting for something to happen from the passing
game from the Giants. Is Odell backham finally going to
(38:34):
break out against the Texans? Find out when we return.
This is Fantasy Football Weekly presented by Devanes Walcome back
Fantasy Football Weekly on the fan. Dive right back into
(38:55):
the matchups, beginning with the Giants taking on the Texans
and Brian at offensive line gets worse. Center John Halipio Halapio, Halopio,
Hallopio Halapano. John Hallipano not gonn working here anymore. He's
out for the year. Their backup center they traded to
the Vikings, so now they're on third string center guy.
I don't even know who that is, and Eric Flowers
(39:16):
is still a starter on the offensive line. Haven't been
able to get a consistent run game going pass game
has been even worse. What do you expect against the
Texans and J. J. Watt against that line a little worried,
but you still got to start, say Kwon Barkley gonna
give him the a uh your you mentioned how and
the line has been Get this. Adam Spinks at the
(39:36):
rb Scout on Twitter broke this down of se Kwan
Barkley's a hundred thirty four rushing yards so for so far,
eighteen of them have come before the first potential tackle point,
meaning that's jeez, the remainder, the remaining a hundred and
after Barkley him I'm not kidding when I say I'm watching,
(39:58):
I'm watching. Was it Sunday or Monday Night? Played last week?
Sunday night, Sunday. I'm watching the Sunday night game, thinking
to myself, it's like halftime, like he's already broken tent tackles.
I mean, every damn yard Barkley gets, he's got to
get on his own. There's no help because the yards
per carried before the potential first potential tackle point zero
point six. After that four point oh, unbelievable. Unbelievable. Barkley,
(40:20):
he's quietly because the offensive line is limiting him so much.
He is he is having an awesome season that nobody
is recognizing. I think just because the box score doesn't
light up like a pinball machine because of what the
offensive line is is holding him to. Yeah, and people
who own Barkley and standard leagues are probably pretty sick
over his fourteen catches last Yeah, right, But anyway, Uh
(40:42):
so he's got the a I'm giving Odell Beckham and
a to Houston has allowed a wide receiver touchdown in
each game so far this year. Posing wide receivers average
more than a touchdown per game last year against the Texans.
They allowed multi multiple touchdowns in a single game to
six different wide receivers last year. One of them was
Jaden mick Ins. Geez, can you who the hell is
Jaden Mickens? Yeah, two touchdowns against the Techans Texans last year.
(41:06):
So I'm liking Beckham here. I also like Evan Ingram,
who has more targets, catches and touchdowns, and Sterling Shepard
looks like New York's true wide receiver two. As predicted,
the Texans surrender the fourth most fantasy points a tight
ends tight ends last year. Gronk had seven catches for
one or twenty three yards in a touchdown in week one.
So Ingram's in a good spot and with those three weapons,
that's why Eli was might take a chance on me.
Quarterback Evan helped me over to the Texans side. DeAndre
(41:30):
Hopkins gets an a. As it stands, the Giants are
allowing under thirty four yards per game to number one
wide receivers. But that's the number one wide receivers from
the Jaguars and the Cowboys. That little smoke and mirrors there,
Hoppkins should see a lot of Genorris Jenkins. But you're
you're starting them either way. Not an ideal spot, but
you're gonna start Hopkins. Definitely start Will Fuller as well.
I'm giving him a bu secondary speed receivers have somewhat
(41:51):
scorched the Giants secondary thus far. Petie Westbrook had five
catches for fifty one yards. Tavon Austin had seventy nine
yards in a touchdown last week. Last year, John Brown
and something called Johnny Holton scored late in season. So
speed receivers have been killing the Giants, like Fuller here
when he's healthy and speaking Fuller, did you see the
Watson numbers with and without Fuller? Yeah, so with Fuller
(42:15):
Deshaun Watson and games with Fuller. Deshaun Watson is averaging
three point six touchdowns per game without Will Fuller one
chown per game. It's a huge, huge differential for him.
And it's quarterback rating is Passer rating is one hundred
seventeen with Fuller, seventy five without Fuller. You gotta keep
(42:38):
this Fuller guy healthy. Yeah, they might want to keep
him on the field. He might be a little more
impactful than people thought. So Watson gets to be for
those reasons. Right there, You did that for me. I
appreciate that you honestly, Ryan Griffin tight end, I almost
used him as my take on because it's a tight
end against the Giants. The Giants are number one against
tight ends right now. That's because the Cowboys don't have
(42:58):
any tight ends, and I don't know the jaguarsdn't do much.
But you know, Griffin, if you're a maybe a nice
little dark on fanball, ten Max entries in the and lastly,
Lamar Miller, I'm gonna give him a B. He's gonna
get the volume. Twenty touches are a lock. He has
very very positive splits with Watson under center as well.
It's not very exciting, but now certainly startable considering how
(43:21):
bad that Houston offensive line is, the fact that Lamar
Miller has been averaging like four point eight yards per carry.
He's like to the best, So you having the best
season he's had like five years. He's a good football player. No,
he he is not. Man, I thought you'd given that
up a long time. Oakland going up against Miami, the
Oakland offense has been awfully inconsistent. Um, but there were
(43:43):
signs of life last week you alluded earlier in the show.
Derek Carr completed something like his passes last week in
week ridiculously impressive. What do you think about this chances
against Miami? Well, like I said, is a completion percentage
right now in the season is through the roof at
eighty point six percent. But Gruden's not asking him to
(44:03):
do anything, hence the one touchdown pass and three picks
in the first two weeks. Miami's tied for the league
lead in interceptions with five through two games and have
only allowed one touchdown. That's why Derek fires on the bench.
For me, they played a part of it. It might
be it might have something to do with it. Given
him Amari Cooper a tepid ce UH. Miami is allowed
two double digit target wide receivers to play against them
(44:26):
this year, Corey Davis and Quincy and noon Wall Uh
sixty two yards for Davis, nine two yards for noon On.
Both were held out of the end zone. Are you
going to get the Cooper who had three targets in
week one or the Cooper who had ten targets, ten
catches and a hundred and sixteen yards in week two.
We don't know, because he's had eight games with under
twenty nine yards in his last fourteen starts and only
(44:49):
three in that span above a hundred yards. So we
don't know what we're going to get with Cooper day
in and day out. So what's your grade on Cooper?
They gave him a see just because you gotta have
him in line up just for the good game, but
you're gonna get a lot of bad games. I only
have him in one league, and I did I played
it exactly wrong where I started in week one, and
then I benched in week two, and now week three like,
(45:10):
oh great, he is the roller coaster from hell. What
you do with the Marie Cooper is you either trade
him or you leave him in your lineup. Those are
like the only two options. Don't try to play the
guessing game. Trade him or leave him in. You should
have been trying to trade him this week after we
actually did so. You should still try to trade. There's
still time high whenever possible. Jared Cook was might take
a chance on me receiver, and I have a bench
(45:31):
grade for Marshawn Lynch. Much to the chagrin Na Paul
Sharchy and the Dolphins two back fields with a power
back and the receiving back. The power back has failed
miserably in both instances, while the receiving back was the
one to start. Dion Lewis had a hundred and ten
total yards in a score. Derrick Henry had thirty one
scoreless yards. Blal Powell head eight yards in a score,
(45:53):
mostly through the air. Isaiah Kroll had thirty nine scoreless yards.
I'd say the dart throw is Jalen Roshard here, not
Marshawn Lynch in this game, I know, and drop him
out right yep? Samtage dropped Yeah, Look, that's got ye
all right. On the other side, there's only one starter
on the Miami side. It's Kenyan Drake. In the preseason,
I warned that the high end mark for Drake would
(46:16):
be fifteen ish touches per game. He's averaging sixteen so
far the season. That's not bad, but Frank Gore is
still getting nine rushing attempts, so that's always going to
make me tap it on Drake, but still is a
good matchup. Phillip Lindsay only fifteen touches the total hundred
and eleven last week, and Todd Gurley just absolutely killed
them with about the same touchload in week one. Chart Head,
(46:36):
take a chance on me grade on Ryan Tannehill. I
am on the bench because he's only averaging pass attempts
per game and they're averaging thirty rushing attempts per game.
So I just don't think the volume is there. But
I heard your reasons and and I'm with the volumes
gotten two touchdowns in each of the first two games.
It's worth noting Tannehill nine and one over his last
ten starts. Also worth noting that you hate Ryan. I
(47:01):
do hate. I think a reasonable person would conclude he's
more like a c start. You're the reasonable person. I am,
well for once, I have Kenny Stills and danny Amon
Dola on the bench as well, still has had the
big boom in Week one, then came back to earth
with only two catches for seventeen yards. And amun Dola
is actually beating stills and targets over the last two
(47:21):
weeks ten to eight for the score. But that's it.
They're averaging five and four targets per game and that's
not enough to start in your fantasy lineup. No, I
don't think that that is as a matter of fact. Um,
let's move on to our next do we have whh
Well you know what, Actually I kind of forgot we
were supposed to roll into five questions. That sounds like
it's next segment. It's only three, and I think we
(47:43):
can squeeze them in. So why do we do it now? Questions?
I'm telling you it's the seven am start. Is I am?
I'm not? I'm I am, I'm frazzled openly admitted for
the rest of the season. Will Josh Gordon be a
wide receive for one wide receiver to flex or bench
(48:03):
grade player? We begin with Brian. It's bench from me
right now. I gotta see him be a football player again.
See him take seventy eight sending the snaps and on
and on that team. I don't mean this week, this
is I can't right now. I don't trust him to
the contributing member of that team. And if he is,
(48:26):
don't forget Julian Edelman's coming back soon. Chris Hogan's in
the mix, Rob Gronkowski, Philip Door said, is something. There
are just so many weapons they are spreading it around there.
Just for me, it's bench grade right now, and that's it, okay.
So I looked back at all the Patriots wide receivers
who've reached a thousand yards in the last ten years.
To reach that, you need a minimum of a hundred
(48:47):
and fourteen targets, which is what Brandon Cooks did last year.
And I did all the math, and there's just not
enough targets because Edelman average ten, Hogan averages five, Gronk
averages seven, the running backs and receivers average around nine,
which means Brady would have to throw over forty passes
per game, and Brady's only hit the forty pass attempt
mark four times in his last eighteen regular season games.
(49:09):
I don't think there's enough targets to go around to
make Josh Gordon. Anything more than a bench grade got
bench as well. Um, i'd say flex because I do
think he's going to ultimately beat end up beating out
and displacing Philip Dorset. But that's down the road and
it's not gonna be anytime soon. I don't believe, and
I don't think it will be this week. Edelman will
(49:29):
come back to the slot and then that outside spot
I believe will ultimately be one out by Josh Gordon.
But you guys were on the right end of this,
and I almost had bench as the correct answer. But ultimately,
I think when I look at across the whole season,
they're going to be opportunities when we're gonna have him
with starting grades on a fairly regular basis in later
shows of this year. I think there's a coin flips
(49:50):
chance that he's not on the roster yes of October.
So let's be clear about this that I think we're
all in unison on sell now. Baby. You know in
stock market, you buy on expectations and you sell on reality.
For companies, We're gonna do that on Josh Gordon. There's
somebody in your league that honestly thinks this is gonna
(50:11):
be a Randy Moss two point oh scenario or reclamation process,
uh process. I guess that's gonna go just as well
as it did with Randy Moss. You've got somebody in
your league. One of the other eleven owners thinks that
you shop Josh Gordon at a high price to everybody
in your league and find out who the suckers who bites.
Somebody's gonna do it. And even if you're wrong then
(50:33):
and he is awesome, you still got a great player anyway,
right exactly on Twitter, people have told me that if
they're getting a j Green, Odell Beckham, Joe Mixon, Yes,
that's the caliber player that people are trading Josh Gordon four.
If you're two and oh right now, you go get
Levy on Bell on a high risk, high reward game. Yeah,
(50:58):
stretch run, although I to know that Bell gets his
job back, maybe not even even when he comes back.
All right, let's move on question number two. From this
point forward, will Aaron Jones packer running back be an
RB one, r B two flex or bench matt uh flex?
But probably not until Mike McCarthy actually figures out that
(51:20):
he's the best runner on roster Jones was really good
for a four game stretch last season. He was injured
in Week seven. Then that coincided with the beginning of
the Brett Hundley era. May he rest in peace. He
never really fully regained his health or his quarterback and
Jamal Williams, we've seen it. He's ordinary. Jones should get
a shot soon. That what was the official answer. I
(51:43):
have him as a flex. I got him on the
bench because he's not as good a pass catcher as
Jamal Williams or Time Montgomery. Um. I don't think he's
that much of a better runner than Jamal Williams. Personally,
had good against a decrepit Dallas team, says shown Lee.
That is the one game that everyone remembers. And look,
(52:04):
green Bagis throws way too much. From my liking to
like any starting any of those quarter running backs. When
three of them are healthy in the red zone, they
throw like eighty percent of the time. That's not gonna change.
I'm not gonna feel comfortable starting Jones unless there's injury
to one or two the other guys. This is gonna
be a platoon, so bench for me. Uh, The correct
answer is again flex, And there's Aaron Jones is the
(52:25):
best runner, and he will get reps because he's the
best runner of the group, but you raise very salient points.
The better pass blocker by a mile is Williams, and
that means that Williams is going to be in on
third down. He's also the goal line back. But the
Packers are going to have opportunities and this is still
a high functioning offense with Aaron Rodgers and Aaron Jones
will have periodically, especially through bye weeks. He's gonna be
(52:45):
a guy that we're gonna recommend that you start, and
that's gonna make him a flex level player. Davanni's hot
question number three, carry on Johnson has been a disappointment
to this point of the season. Are you buy and low?
Are you? Or are you just glad you didn't draft
him to begin with? Brian so glad I didn't draft
(53:05):
him to begin with. I don't really draft Detroit running backs.
I think the last time I did was job at best.
Then that burned me that following year. The last like
RB type two guy that played for the Lions. Detroit
currently leads the league in passing play percentage. Last year
they led the league in passing play percentage. Their touchdown
percentage outweighs. They're rushing, they're passing touchdown percentages right around.
(53:29):
They just throw, throw, throw all day long. Carry On
Johnson doesn't catch the ball. That's the rritic's job. That
defense is awful for the Detroit They're gonna be down
virtually every week, meaning carries aren't gonna be there for
carry On. So I'm not buying low. I'm just glad
I didn't touch him and I will continue to not
touch him. Matt. To add to Brian's point, Matt Patricia
comes from the Belichick coaching tree. Belichick does weird stuff
(53:51):
with his backs. Plays the hot hand rotates four guys.
That's what they're doing. La Garrett Blunt, Theoretic, Ameer Abdulla.
They're all there. I don't care if those names are
boring or or mary to you. They're going to get
touches and sap Johnson's value. I'm glad I don't have
him on any rosters. Um, I'm actually gonna trade four
carry On Johnson because you don't. You basically have to
give up the worst player on your bench, right and
(54:11):
for what he costs to acquire. I'm actually I'm actually
interested in buying because that's the price I would pay.
And when I was phrasing this up, it wasn't that
I have to pay the draft day value of carry
On Johnson. It's the through two weeks value of carry
On Johnson. And here's what, here's a little bit why
I think there's room for carry On Johnson to get better.
(54:33):
Um One, we saw signs of life last week with
a five yard per carry average on eight carries, which
is good. I'm happy to see him getting up to
eight carries and his play count doubled from week one
to week two for Carrie On Johnson. If that's gonna
double again, potentially that's good. Lea Garrett Blunt looks brutal,
like completely cooked. I think there's a real chance that
(54:54):
a desperate team is gonna stop giving meaningless carries to
le Garrett Blunt and get nothing theoretics not getting his
any passes. Right now, carry On Johnson has been targeted
how many times you may ask, nine times. He's been
targeted nine times. That's a that is a promising beginning
(55:14):
to his career. And the Lions are passing at a
and they're passing at such a ridiculous rate. It can't hold,
so they're going to run more. The only capable runner
they've got is carry On Johnson. You have your right now.
You will pay virtually nothing to get carry On Johnson
from an owner who just wants to forget that they
(55:35):
ever made that draft pick. We're buying and carry On Johnson.
When we come back back to the matchups, including San
Francisco taking on Kansas City? Are there any players to
bench in that game? Will tell you will charge have
pants on while reading that matchup? Answer? This is Fantasy
(55:55):
Football Weekly, Green Bell Premium on the Fan. Welcome back
Fantasy Football Weekly on the Fan, Paul Charchi And I
(56:15):
didn't you know, I don't think I've introduced my co
host formally. All show, and I'm sorry again. Seven am.
Just the wheels come off. Matt Harrison, Brian Johnson, Good morning. Yeah,
welcome to the first hour where it's just let's just
start it over. Our first matchup is Cincinnati a Carolina. Uh,
let me find that all right? You already already deleted
(56:37):
that off your computer. I bet in my brain and
your brain, and I wouldn't blame you for deleting that
game from your brain. I believe where we've left off
on matchups is San Francisco taking on Kansas City. It's
a start everything game for sure. As you can imagine,
I'm torn between two of my great loves, Jimmy Garoppolo
and Pat mahomes Um. But here's what we know for sure,
(57:00):
as you can start both of them with confidence. Let's
start in the Garoppolo side. Opponents keenly aware of the
deficiencies of starting cornerbacks Orlando Scandrick and Steven Nelson as
evidence to buy the one hundred eleven passes that have
been thrown at Kansas City in two games. Think about
that anything close to that kind of volume ensures a
(57:21):
great game from Jimmy Garoppolo. Here. No team has allowed
more passing attempts or yards, and only one team is
a lot more passing touchdowns in Kansas City. So I
love Garoppolo here. Needless to say, that means I gotta
love his receivers. Beginning with George Kittle, massive game potentially
coming here, Kansas City has given up the second most
(57:41):
Fantasy points to tight ends, the fifth most receptions, the
third most yards to tight ends, and they were just
burned by Jesse James last week hundred thirty eight yards
and a touchdown to Jesse James. George Kittle is a
vastly better player. I see, I've got an a grade
on George Kittle, and let's talk his receivers. Pierre Garson
(58:03):
might take a chance on me wide out in this game.
Marquis Goodwin, assuming he plays, is gonna be hard to
bench as well. He's the niners number one receiver against
the worst secondary in the league. And Kansas City is
allowed the most receptions to wide outs, the six most
yards to wide outs, the second most touchdowns to white outs.
So if Goodwin goes, he's startable. If Goodwin doesn't go,
put Dante Pettis in your lineup. Why not, it's a
(58:25):
great opportunity. Let's talk about Matt Brida. He's your NFL's
leading rusher by yards, and he looked very good against
the crappy Lions defense last week. But get this, inexplicably
out snapped by Alfred Morris last weekend on the season
for reasons I don't understand, but I think they've got
to be figuring out that breed is way better in
(58:46):
the opener. Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler against this same
Chief's defense torched him for two hundred eighty three yards,
and then James Connor managed sixty five total yards in
a score despite only touching about thirteen time. Everything here
sets up for a nice game for Brita, who is
a b start as well. I'm throwing Alfred Morris on
the bench. Here's why one. He's not good too, by
(59:09):
the three point three yards per carry too, um it sings.
It's gonna be a shootout. Teams don't run the ball
against the Chiefs. They're seeing fewer rushing plays than every
other team in the NFL, just fifteen per game. And
if Alfred Morris is gonna get half of those are less.
Let's put him on seven carries at three yards per
carry twenty one yards. No thanks, match, Let's I'm with
(59:34):
you on that altogether. All right, out of the chief
side where it's pretty simple. Mahomes, Hill Kelsey obvious a
starts my number one, number one, and number three ranked
players at their respective positions. This week. Mahomes is ten touchdowns. Stunning,
But even more stunning, get this. Of the ten, seven
(59:54):
different receivers have caught touchdowns, but second start quarterback Hey
throws to throws touchdowns to seven different receivers in two games.
That's an amazing command of the full the full field
for Patrick Mahomes. Meanwhile, San Francisco just allowed Matthew Stafford
to rebound from his debacle in the opener. The Niners secondary.
(01:00:16):
They've built their secondary to be physical and slow. That
is not the way to stop the Chiefs. This is
This could be an absolute blowout in the making. Potentially.
Mahomes has racked up those ten touchdowns in two road games.
Now he's at home. I love Mahomes. Hill and Kelsey
Watkins also would be great. Showing last week forts of
(01:00:39):
the fifth worst defense and yards allowed to wide receivers.
They're also susceptible to the long pass and Sammy Watkins
could help that way as well. They also give up
more yards on the left side of the field, and
that's Watkins side of the field. Kareem Hunt has been
the odd man out of the Chiefs point or gy,
but I still like him here. The problem has been
his receptions. In his last hundred eighty snaps, Kareem Hunt
(01:01:05):
has twenty five receiving yards. Thank you Adam Spinks for
that detail. The Niners are giving up a healthy one
hundred seven rushing yards per game, four and a half
yards per carry. Hunt should get those and kinds of numbers.
I see him getting the one hundred total yards and
maybe even one hundred on the ground in this game
in what should be an absolute shootout. Can't wait for
that game. Let's move on to a Turkey or game,
(01:01:29):
but one with a lot of a lot of background
for uts New Orleans taking on Atlanta Division rivals too
high potentially high scoring offenses. What do you like here, Brian?
A lot to like from one shootout to another. Let's
start with the Saints. Alvin Kamara gets an easy ah.
The Falcons just get abused by pass catching running backs.
Alvin a pretty good pass catcher. His first game, uh,
(01:01:51):
he totaled like thirty first game against the Falcons last year,
total like thirty yards on the first drive they got
knocked out with the concussion. I remember that very better
about so he might be the fantasy Fonzie this week.
A you know what I think Michael Thomas is though.
Michael Thomas ten catches and two of his last three
against Atlanta, as he scored in three of four career
(01:02:12):
games against them, off to an amazing start. Easy a
for him. I believe he is twenty one of twenty
three targets. He's caught twenty one twenty three targets to
start this season, which is astounding, absolute stud no doubt ted.
Gin will I take a chance on the wide receiver
like him a lot forty on fanball check them out.
Ben Watson, though on the bench, more career touchdowns against
(01:02:34):
Atlanta than any other team. That's because he's played for
every team, right, Probably that's right. Falcons are allowing a
mean or thirty one yards per game to tight ends.
Only four teams have allowed few fancy points in Atlanta.
Zach Ertz was held under fifty yards. So it's not
another game for Watson here. So he's on the bench
and Drew Brees, come on, you're starting him over to Atlanta.
(01:02:54):
Tevin Coleman will be the lead back it again with
DeVonta Freeman out. In games without DeVonta Freeman, Coleman has
scored or hit the hundred yard mark in all four
over the past two seasons, while averaging twenty touches per game. Uh.
He's also scored five times on just thirty six touches
in four career games against the Saints, So he gets
thirty six touches, so he's gonna get two and a
(01:03:14):
half touchdowns in this game. I like to look forward
to the half, so he I'll give him an A
in this matchup. Who else we got here? Lots of
people Julio Jones gonna give him in a despite the
fact that, uh, let's see here, surprisingly been held in
check against New Orleans only three touchdowns in thirteen games.
But you're starting Julio, that's a given. Awesome Hooper will
give him a C. Uh saw under twelve percent of
(01:03:36):
the Falcons red zone targets last year, but this year
he has been targeted twenty three percent at the time
in the red zone, so he's has much more of
a role in a shootout. So I'll give him a
C and Matt Ryan gets a B. I really want
to give him a. See here was a stat I
saw the last twelve games, Matt Ryan has three seventy
nine pass attempts. Mohamed Sanu has won during that same
(01:03:57):
span touchdown passes the Julio Jones, Matt Iron one, Mohammed
sanw one. That's that's downright depressing. Yes, really incredibly depressing.
Ryan has looked decent season though, this is I think
he has. Actually think Ryan's looked pretty good. So he
gets a soft be here. But uh, that's about it
for the foulcons. I'm not going Calvin Ridley or Mohammedan,
(01:04:19):
So that's the end of that Ridley. Um Ridley is
showing signs of life, and you know he's starting to.
He's starting, She's starting to. He will be a factor
sooner than later. I think you're right Denver taking on Baltimore,
matt Um. You have been a frequent proponent of Um
case Case Keenum. Thank you very much, Case Keenum. Do
(01:04:39):
you like him here and probably his toughest matchup of
the season as he goes to Baltimore. I need to
you to queue our new sound effect here. Last week
I called for three hundred and three for Keenum and
he ended up with two two and zero. Oh I
love that well. Um. However, he had two touchdown passes
(01:05:01):
overturned by the raft, so I'm not given up yet.
He gets a c start going against the Baltimore defense
that just gave up the farm to Andy Dalton last week.
Manuel Sanders is getting an A. Sanders will face slot
cornerback Tavon Young, who was responsible for Tyler Boyd's career
game last weeks in a touchdown. Jimmy Smith is still
out on suspension. That's why Damarius Thomas is getting a B.
(01:05:21):
He's leading the team and tied for eleventh in the
league with twenty one targets this season. However, he hasn't
had the big game yet, mostly because he's tied with
la Kwan Treadwell for the league leading drops. Wow oho
A J. Greend did just roll into the end zone
three times from the perimeter last week. So I'm giving
Thomas the B for benefit of the doubt. Uh, Philip
(01:05:43):
Lindsay and Royce Freeman, I'm giving each of those guys
to see. Philip Lindsay is the first undrafted running back
rookie to total a hundred yards in his first two
NFL games. Unbelievable. What a find he has been, by
the way, just eye test. He's a better fit in
that offense than Freeman. For him, everything I've seen through
two games so far, well, Freeman is definitely the goal
(01:06:03):
line he's and Lindsay is everywhere else on the field
between the twenties. Pass catching all that so, and Davante Booker,
for some reason is still getting like of the snaps.
I don't know why he's there an end to that.
Philip Lindsay is going to eventually get his target share
and touch share growing every week, so I like him.
Acquire him if you can. On the other side, Alex
(01:06:25):
Collins gets a C grade. I got Buck Allen on
the bench. It's been almost an even time share so
far for these two, but I give Collins the edge
because he's the better runner, and it's been a situationally
weird season for the Ravens. In Game one, they were
up on Buffalo by three scores and no time, so
they just rested Collins. In Game two, they got down
to Since by a ton early, so they put in
(01:06:47):
the pass catching back in Buck Allen. And it's a
great matchup the Bronco It's not a great matchup, I
should say. The Broncos have held opposing running backs to
three point six yards per carry in the first two games.
The wide receivers. The only one of of this group
that's getting a starting grade is John Brown, and I'm
giving him a CEE. They moved Chris Harris in as
the slot corner in Denver, which means he matches up
(01:07:07):
with Willie Snead for most of the game, so he
gets a bench grade. Michael Crabtree is in is in
a nine game slump of sixty yards and fewer, so
he's on the bench. And John Brown's the interesting guy.
He's leading Crabtree and red zone targets three to one,
has over a hundred more airy yards this year, which
means he's been throwing the ball downfield much more often.
(01:07:28):
And Amari Cooper running from the same spot last week
ten catches for a hundred and sixteen yards, and Joe
Flacco was might take a chance in the quarterback. What
was the grade that you gave on Crabtree? I gave.
I gave Crabtree a bench, a bench and John Brown. Yeah, okay,
thank you. We'll actually talk more about John Brown momentarily.
We've got four matchups left and premature speculation in the
(01:07:49):
Fine Old segment of Fantasy Football Weekly coming up next
Fantasy the final segment Fantasy Football Weekly, you mentioned last
week's winner of the Green Belt Crush Charts Challenge, Victor Poplar.
(01:08:12):
Victor will be joining me at Manny's for the winner's
banquet in January. You can be there too. Go to
grain belt dot com and play the Crush Charts Challenge
for free. Al Right, guys, let's let's get into premature speculation.
These are three players that we believe are generally are
available in leagues that you can pick up now that
(01:08:33):
everybody else is gonna wish was available next week. But
they're about you on your team, Bryan, I'm going with
my sleeper from the Training Camp show, and that's Chase Edmonds,
the backup running back to the Cardinals right now as
the second most catches on the Cardinals. By the way,
jeez uh, he will be at bell Cow someday. True
three down potential. I'm not predicting injury for David Johnson
or anything like that, but Arizona is very short on playmakers,
(01:08:54):
incredibly short, and Edmonds can make plays out of the slot,
out of the backfield. He's think his eight to ten
touches and that's gonna go up. So I like Jase Edmonds.
All right, It's time for me to prematurely speculate on
a butt. It's Jake. But targets increased from four in
week one to six. In Week two, receptions doubled from
two to four. I don't particularly like the matchup this week.
(01:09:16):
We start to hit BIS in Week four and the Broncos.
Broncos will be facing against the Chiefs on Monday night
in Denver, Jesse. James just torched the Chiefs last week,
and I expect George Kittle to do the same this week,
as they've been missing Eric Barry for a while. I
think Jake Butt's a good play. Uh. John Brown has
got to be the lowest owned player who has scored
in both games. To this point, his ownership is only
(01:09:37):
a forty per cent, and not only as he scored
in both weeks, he's been targeted. He got targeted ten
times last week. You probably won't start him this week
against Denver, although you gave him a C grade. You
believe he is startable. Matt Um after this game, he
gets favorable matchups with the Steelers, the Browns, the Titans.
I think John Brown is gonna be startable for the
(01:09:57):
next several weeks, and that's we're gonna right into the
bye weeks. John Brown premature speculation. Let's go back to
matchups including Chargers taking on the Rams. I guess it's
technically an away game for the Chargers in their own
home stadium, although every's not their home stadium. They play
at stub Hubs. Yeah, yeah, right right, they play at
(01:10:17):
the soccer stadium right in their own city. I guess, um,
let's start here. Melvin Gordon's normally an obvious a start.
He knocks down to a beach just the Rams defense
has been basically the best defensive football so far this year. Um,
he's having little or no success running inside. I don't
think that won't get any easier. With Aaron Donald and
Dominan sue. He might have to do his damage as
a receiver. The Rams have allowed nineteen receptions to opposing
(01:10:41):
running backs through the air team ten times. Uh, Philip
Rivers in the passing game. I've got to be grade
on Rivers. He's faced two of the league's worst past
defenses and he's put up in a responded accordingly six
hundred eighty yards and six touchdown. Meanwhile, the Rams have
faced Derek Carr and Sam Bradford and they've been every
(01:11:04):
bit is good, giving up zero touchdown passes. Philip Rivers
probably lands somewhere in between the audacious numbers of his
first two weeks and the audacious numbers of the RAMS
defense over the past couple of weeks, and that makes
him a beast start. Keenan Allen also a beast start.
RAMS defense is held opposing receivers to a league best
six receptions for forty nine yards a game, which is ridiculous. Uh.
(01:11:26):
Keenan's matchup out of the slot is Roby Roby Coleman,
who plays the slot corner position, holding opposing receivers to
fifty nine percent catch rate, which is miniscule. It's a
tough matchup for Keenan Allen. He gets a B grade.
All the rest of your charges are on the bench
in a brutally tough matchup, including Mike Williams, who is
getting more and more playing time. But Travis Benjamin likely
(01:11:48):
returns and this is not the right matchup for him.
Let's go to the RAM side obviously, Todd Gurley is
an a start. Let's go to the passing game. Jared
Goff B grade here. He's top thirty eight path attempts
just three times since Sean McVeigh took over, So volume
is you know, he doesn't get the big volume here.
And I don't love that part of this matchup. I
also don't love the opponent. Chargers secondary's loaded with talent
(01:12:11):
and the path of least resistance really is just running
gurly in this game. Last year, the Chargers finished thirty
feet and rushing yards allowed in fourth and passing yards allowed,
and it feels like much of the same defense now.
So um, I'm worried about Jared Goff. I'm still giving
him a B, but he trends closer to a C
than an A. Brandon Cooks is my highest ranked among
the Rams receivers. He draws the easiest cornerback matchup. He
(01:12:34):
will face off against Trevor Williams. Uh Cooks has had
an instant connection with Golf. I was worried that it
might take a little while for for Cooks to settle in,
but that has not been the case. He's got more
yards in his two Rams games than any two games
stretch of his entire career, and he's been catching passes
from Brady and Breeze. The Charges have allowed the fourth
(01:12:55):
fewest receptions to receivers, though, so that caps Cooks is
upside of B grade. There cooper up as a C
grade among rams receivers. He's third in targets, but he's
first in red zone targets at three per game. So
the bid is here. He's he scores, He's a he's
a vulture, basically a vulture receiver. He scores touchdowns. He
doesn't give you a lot of other things um, and
he draws a tough matchup with a very strong slot
(01:13:17):
cornerback Desmond King Robert Woods, also a C grade. Woods
is average nine targets a game, but has Um hasn't
really caught on here because he's catching his fifty of
his passes on those nine targets. The most struggling troubling
part for Woods is they just don't throw them at
all in the red zone, and so touchdowns have to
come at distance, and that's not a sure thing, especially
when you're covered by maybe the best coverage cornerback in
(01:13:40):
the league, Casey Hayward. Let's go to Chicago taking on Arizona.
Brian gonna be fast. David Johnson ce uh this offensive
line against the Bears. It's gonna be bad days for
David Johnson. Bears allowing just six four rushing yards and
ten receiving yards per games. Running back so just to
see for David Johnson in standard leagues, maybe even bench,
but now I'm gonna say that he's a cee Larry
(01:14:01):
Fitzgerald to see, uh he will play. Chicago has giving
up two d nineteen yards a game and four touchdowns
and wide receivers, so some hope for fits, but not really. Uh,
that's it for Arizona over to Chicago. I'm giving Jordan
Howard in a already mentioned how the Cardinals have allowed
twenty five red zone touches to running back so far,
thirty eight touches per dame to opposing running backs, and
for that reason, Trek Cohen it was gonna take a
(01:14:23):
chance on the runner. There will be some table scraps
for him here. For the past catchers, I will give
Allen Robinson in a even though this is gonna be
a ball control game for Chicago, targeted ten times in
the first half last week, and uh, Patrick Peterson's shadowing
days are over, especially in the slot. A. Rob moves
all over the field. He ran out of the slot
a lot last week, so will avoid Peterson. I like
(01:14:43):
him a lot in this game. Anthony Miller and Taylor
Gabriel home run potential but far too risky right now.
They're on the bench. Trey Burton, I will give a
see only a target share of fifteen percent so far,
which is weird, very weird. He was missed wide open
in the end zone in Week one or Week two,
I forget which one. What was a week one? Week
one goes up against the Cardinals defense that has given
up just seven catches to tight ends, but it's one
(01:15:05):
of four defenses to allow multiple tight end touchdowns so far.
So he gets the sea and sad drown bone ski.
I'll put him on the bench this this week, even
though I think they might let him air it out
a little bit, yeah, you know, probably to get some
meaningful reps, but they're just not gonna need the throw really,
So he's on the bench. I predicted on a PA
show yesterday. I'll make the same prediction here. Josh Rosen
(01:15:26):
will be your starter next week, and Sam Bradford will
never start another game in the NFL except due to injury.
He will be a career backup from this point going
forward if he doesn't just outright just retire on with
his money at the end of the year. Uh matt
Our next matchup Pittsburgh taking on Tampa. Yeah, this is
the Monday Night er. I have a B grade for
James Conner. He's been very serviceable, top eight in receptions
(01:15:48):
and receiving yards amongst running backs, and Tampa just gave
up big receiving days to both Kamara and Corey Clement
in the first two weeks. A grades for Antonio Brown
and Juju Smith Schuster. Uh, not much really need to
say about those guys. C grade for James Washington, though.
You can give me a little peacock on this one
because he played of the snaps last week and caught
(01:16:09):
a fourteen yard touchdown. He's a desperation Monday night play
if you need the Monday night huge upside of a
guy if he's in your flex spot. Jesse James gets
a B grade. The Bucks have allowed the most receptions
to tight ends and the second most yards to the position,
although they have not allowed to score as of yet.
That's about to change pretty soon. With all that said,
it's an A grade for Ben Roethlisberger. Tampa's allowed seven
(01:16:31):
seventy three passing yards in the first two weeks. That's
the second most in the league, and they were second
worst at that last year too. Yeah, I gotta interject
because it's just the road numbers are so overwhelmingly bad
for Ben Roethlisberger, and we've got such a long detailed
list of of failures on the road over three years.
Last three years, he averages one point one touchdowns per
(01:16:52):
game on the road. And that's Trevor Simeon is one
his career one point one touchdowns per game. You're getting
Trevor Simeon on the road. He doesn't get to play
Tampa Bay on the road except for once every eight years. Look,
I understand in Tampa Bays secondary is an utter mess.
Everything else suggests an absolute A start. It's just we've
been burned with him on the road so many times.
(01:17:13):
I think you have to address that because that's overwhelmingly
the difference between whether or not you get good Ben
or bad men. Alright, Well, I have another quarterback with
an A start. That's Ryan Fitzpatrick. Because since losing Ryan Shazir,
the Steelers have allowed twenty nine points per game over
a seven games game span. Ryan Fitzpatrick is the pumpkin
spiced latte of the NFL because ladies love him. Most
(01:17:37):
people don't think he's that good. He's seasonal, but a
lot of people are really into him when he's here.
So Ryan Fitzpatrick, he's an A right now. Mike Evans,
he's an A grade. Deshan Jackson gets a big Chris
Godwin even gets to see d jacks has caught all
nine of his targets this season for two seventy five
yards and three touchdowns. Godwin only round seventeen routes last week,
(01:17:57):
but he still leads the Bucks in targets inside the town,
so he still gets a C start grade. O J.
Howard also getting a C start. He had the big
play last week. He's had zero red zone targets this
year though, that's concerning. But Travis Kelsey just ding the
Steelers for a hundred and nine yards and two touchdowns.
And finally Peyton Barber in that running game. That's a
(01:18:19):
disaster that's on the bench. Let's go to the final
game for this show, Sunday Nighter, New England Detroit. Brady
Gronk and Hogan obvious a plays Hogan P two, particularly
if Darius Slay, Lions cornerback does not go, which is expected.
Philip dorsetto also startable here. The Jaguars shut him down,
which is understandable, but remember he was Tom Brady's most
(01:18:39):
targeted wide receiver in Week one. And again, if Slay
doesn't go, door sets absolutely a a plausible play for
you at a B grade, and he would go up
against Slave's backup Jamal agg Knew. I'd rather go up,
and I think they're better off of Spiro Agnew. Let's
go to the running backs because I think there's good
plays here. Rex Burke had particular. I like, teams are
(01:19:01):
rushing the ball thirty two times per game against Detroit,
and why not when they're giving up five point six
yards per carry, second worse in the NFL, and they're
dead last in rushing yards per game by a mile
at one eighty. So Burkehead gets a B start. Sony
Michelle gets a C start. Only thirteen plays last week
for Michelle, but you figure that expands here in his
(01:19:22):
second start, and the Patriots could get way ahead and
just give Michelle some extra reps. He's startable. See start
for Sony Michelle. Josh Gordon's on the bench. He's got
the hamstring injury. Don't even know if he'll be active,
and even if he does, how much of the playbook
can he know? Let's go to Detroit. Matthew Stafford a start,
if nothing else, by volume, that'll help him a lot.
Last week, the Jaguars beat the Patriots by asking Blake
(01:19:44):
Bortles to throw the ball forty five times. Stafford's averaging
fifty four passes per game, so the volume will be
there for Stafford, and his best receiving option is Golden Tate.
Potentially a ton of balls coming his way. He's got
an easy matchup with Jonathan Jones out of the slot
in safety, Hatrick Chung won't be able to help him out.
He is out as well, and Chung picks up a
lot of slot duty. Last week, the Jaguars targeted slot
(01:20:07):
receiver d D Westbrook nine times after Patrick Chung left
the game. You think we'd go out of our way
to get the nine times in, but we really don't.
Marvin Jones has got a. Has got a is a
true game time decision. So watch him. And he's got
the only difficult assignment out of this group. He gets
New England's best cornerback, Stephon Gilmore. He drops down to

a C grade and Kenny Golladay a B grade. He
The corner who would normally cover Golliday is Eric Row.
He's questionable. He may not play. Plus Rose benched halfway
through last week's game. Jason mccordy, backup caliber player who
that wasn't good enough to be a Titan last year,

time in this show. We have fumbled so badly that
we did not get to any lightning round calls. I
am sorry. They can tweet them to us. Yeah, bt X,

J is Brian, explosive output is is Matt. I'm sorry.
It's just bad clock management our our part. We do have, however,
a um bye week next week. We'll do better next
week with one less game and so apologies on that front.
It's never happened in the history of the show and
hopefully will never happen again. Rich Jeremy Ben Tommy, I
(01:21:35):
know you're holding a long time. I'm sorry about that.
The podcast going up when Tony already been built, already
been built, you have the podcast stuff probably. Thanks everybody,
