The annual Kielbasa Cook-Off is this Sunday February 23rd at St Clement Hall on Tremainsville. Doors open at 1p and samples of local home made kielbasa will be available along with kapusta, mizeria, palcek, and paczki. Admission is $5 which funds local scholarships. Rob Weber is running for the 9th Congressional District in Ohio. The seat is currently the one held by Marcy Kaptur and stretches from Cleveland to Toledo across the shore of Lake Erie. Rob would like to see a Lake Erie Caucus formed to deal with the problem of the areas bordering Lake Erie and the other Great Lakes. Voices Of Harmony, a premiere barbershop quartet, will be once again serenading you valentine this year with a love song, card, and a rose. The annual Women Who Lead Breakfast sponsored by Cornerstone Church is scheduled for Friday February 28th at The Summit in downtown Toledo. Pedro is from Brazil and is spending his Junior year at St Francis before heading back to his home to finish his high school years. He hopes to become a doctor someday and talks with Fred about his American experiences.

Brad McDonald and Rocky Conley talk with Fred about the new Federal Aerospace Institute opening this spring/summer at Gene Kranz Toledo Express Airport. The school, the first of its' kind in this area, will teach airframe and powerplant mechanics for positions in the aerospace industry.
The industry predicts there will be a need for 190,000 new technicians in the next 15 years.
