of the very first season of The Hills, which I
remember and I can't believe it's been what ten years
been almost Oh my gosh, like that long ago, right,

It doesn't it's it's gone by so quick and actually
looking back and then we're actually were just talking about
this morning and just can't believe how much time has
gone by. You look good man. I appreciate it. Man,
you got the good wig going right there, and you
haven't lost one follicle bro in the forehead though. You know,
was it an easy decision to do it again? Well?
You know, I think for me it was because I

mean I went through a very public battle with addiction
when I was on the first you know, from the
Gina Beach into the Hills, I went through a lot
of a lot of trials and tribulations. And this time
being able to come on sober and show my life
is transformed, is it was kind of a no brainer.
You know, everything's come full circle for me. Yeah, that's cool.
So is that where we um sort of pick up
in your life when the show starts. Yeah, that's kind
of where everything transitions is obviously been married, having having
(05:06):
a daughter, and you know, being able to actually embrace life.
And I think the biggest thing is to be able
to show and spread hope, you know, especially with so
many people have suffer with substance to be her mental health. Uh,
to show that you can actually obtain a life and
recovery and that it's absolutely worth living. Good for you
if you and I remember back in the day, you
weren't friends with Heidi and Spencer. Now and where does
that relationship stand now? We're good now, we're good now.

You know, it's you've got to learn to make amends.
You gotta forgive and forget. And you know they're good people.

I think it was a little difficult for her at first,
just because she's been unscripted series for so long, and
this is like a moment for her to be real

and raw. Misha brings a cool dynamic to it. I mean,
Brandon Lee obviously brings, you know, the wild side of things.
I mean obviously having a dad, Tommy Lee and his
mom and Pam Landerson, so I mean he brings a
unique younger demographic to the show. And it's cool. I mean,
it's it's it's nice to have the new casting. You,
Maura Lopez, Jason Waller and his wife Ashley in studio
talking about the Hills. But you mentioned you have a daughter, Yes, right, Yes,

pretty names. So what's her personality like? She's a really
good combination of both of us. She's very energetic, you know,
she's definitely got a very carrying and loving personality. But
I think even more, you know, she is. She's very independent,
which is very interesting at such a young age. She's
as she wants to do everything on her own. Dude,
I mean from putting her shoes on her clothes, Jack,

I mean, she's it's just like you can't even give her.
It's incredible. It's really cool to watch him at that stage.

she's a dear friend of mine, and she looks incredible.

Well know I'm saying if you went from from from

being an added to now to claim that that would
be like pretty dramatic. Well yeah, when we actually went
on and we were connecting with the producers again and stuff,
I mean they said, you know, your story is a
complete one eighties, So it's it's pretty cool to see that.
But I think overall, I think there's a lot of
people have made changes through the show. I mean everybody's
grown in their own particular ways. Certain people are married,
certain people you have kids now, and and some people
haven't changed. So overall is is this experience what you

thought it would be getting into it? You know what?
I think I have mixed feelings. I definitely feel very
fortunate to have been a part of the series. I
think once I watch it, maybe I'll feel different about it.
But I think I played true to who I am.
I'm really authentic and raw with my personality. I have
a very strong opinion about things. So people may not

like that or they may love it. Um, I'm proud
of the person that I was, and it's really cool
to share our story of recovery. I think it's the
first time on television that you'll be able to see
like a full family dynamic of what that looks like
with somebody that struggled with substance abuse. It's cool, It's
like totally different. I think it's never been done before. Yeah,
