Tim McGraw says he loves working with Faith on set of 1883 but she may have gone a little too hard during a on screen fight. He talks about coming to Atlanta, new music and the Carly Pearce/Faith Hill potential duet!
McGraw isn't currently filming for his hit show 1883 but recalled a time with Faith on set where she may have gotten a little TOO into the part. He said she went to slap him for a scene an "I was expecting you know a good slap, a finger slap... but I got a palm slap so that left me concussed for the next 10 takes". All the well though, he loves working with his wife on set and enjoys doing the show.

Moot, Kimmy and Otis. Thisis gonna be a lot of fun.
We don't always have a legend stopby and hang out with us. Tim,
how you doing this morning? I'mdoing well. How about y'all?
Good? Good man, Thanks forhanging out with us. We're excited to
have you here June fourteenth, StateFarm Arena. Looking forward to that me
too, Man, I'm excited.I mean, we're what ten days or
so out from start kicking this thingoff, so I'm pretty excited about it.

(00:20):
Getting all the rehearsals in. Yeah, yeah, we start we you
know, we did about a monthof rehearsal putting what the show was actually
going to be last year, andthen we start rehearsing on the stage.
I think Thursday we start rehearsing onthe main stage, the big stage.
So we're pretty excited to get upthere on it and start feeling it out
and see what we're going to do. And that's always fun when you're putting
the show together on the stage andfiguring all that stuff out. Tim.

(00:43):
That was actually what I was goingto ask you about. You have forty
seven number one songs. What areyou thinking about when you're choosing the set
list because you know everybody has afavorite, you don't have time to play
all of them exactly. So Imean it's a great problem to have.
Yeah, I'm heart class problems, right you have. You know, the
hardest part is you're you're not goingto get everybody's favorite. You only have
time to do about twenty songs,So you just try to create an experience,

(01:07):
you know, and you always knowthat somebody's going to leave and not
hear their favorite song, but youhope that you make up for it by
the show that you do the songsthat you do play, and we're going
reaching back and playing a lot ofthe songs that we haven't played in a
long time, and we're playing somea lot of the songs everybody wants to
hear as well. Of course we'llmiss a few, I'm sure, but
yeah, that's the that's the toughestpart is putting that together and just trying
to put you just try to createexperience that everybody and enjoy and from the

(01:30):
time you start to the time youfinish, everybody sort of gets lost in
it. What I love about youis that you work out. You have
a whole routine before the show, and it's always been a dream of mind
to do an interview with you whilewe're working out. That happy hard to
do. I don't know, ifa breath you pull your back in the
first question, the interview doesn't govery far well. I told the guys
that Restless wrote about it when Iwas in Nashville last week, and they're
like, yeah, we want todo that with them. So you've got

(01:52):
to make you got to force themto work out with you. I will.
We'll see how long they last.I want to see that on socials.
I'll try to break them, soTim. One of my favorite shows
of the last like few years waseighteen eighty three, and I always kind
of wondered, you know, likewhen you're working with your wife in such
an intense the intensity of that showto make it so real the things you

(02:15):
guys are going through physically, didyou ever have scenes where you guys had
a lot of tension where you lookedat it and like, I think she's
grabbing something from like real life rightnow to find a place. Yeah.
There there was one particular scene whereshe hauls off and slaps me, and
uh, yeah, there was therewas some pent up aggression. I felt
it. You're going through the checklistin your head, like what did I
leave cabinets open? I know, you know, and you know, And

(02:37):
we had talked about it before wedid it, and we talked with the
director and we had said, youknow, we don't We're not going to
do a fake slap. And it'smy wife. You know, we know
each other pretty well, so yeah, I can handle it, so we
could take it. So Uh.When we did the first take, I
was expecting, you know, agood slap, finger slap on my face.
It was smack and make a goodnoise. But I got a palm
slap. So I was concussed forthe next ten takes. And I think

(02:58):
we had it. I think weat the first three takes, but she
kept wanting to do more, whicha little concerned, I asked her afterwards,
do we need to have a conversationthat again. Let's run that from
the top again. I feel likewe could really sell it because she would
smile. She had this little smile. If you look at it when she
hits me, there's this little hentof a smile in her eyes. And

(03:19):
I thought, you're supposed to beupset happy about that. It's so funny.
Now, speaking of faith, Iknow Carly Pears has put it out
of there in the universe that shewants to do a song with her.
Can you speak on that it anyway? I'm not going to speak for my
wife, you kidding. I wantto help push that into the the atmosphere

(03:39):
because I want that to happen. That'll be credible. I'm sure she would
love to do it. It's justI'm not going to speak for it.
I can tell you that right now, I'm not getting muscle. I'm not
digging a hole. My hole isdeep enough. I'm gonna stop digging.
I get it temp again. Awesome, You're you're a living legend that we
actually can't wait to see you whenyou come through Atlanta June fourteenth, massive
standing room only tour. God bleUSh you man, Thank you guys,

(04:00):
luck on the tour. I appreciateEl's help.
