It's a bird! It's a plane! It's......frozen iguanas falling from the sky?! This story would be completely unbelievable if it took place ANYWHERE aside from.OH, FLORIDA! Check out the clip!

It's time for today's things or not right in Florida
start of the day yay.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Outside of Florida might sound funny, but inside the Sunshine State,
it is frozen iguana season.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
It is a real thing.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
So when the temperature dips to the mid forties, all
the green iguanas go into dormant or cold stunned state.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
And sometimes that happens while they're up in a tree.
So there you are, do doobe? Do youre walking down
the street and iguana falls and hit you on the head.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
A frozen iguana.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Yes, So you just have to kind of look around
and then maybe not walk under trees until the temperatures
get above fifty.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Does it kill them or do they?

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Like?

Speaker 3 (00:37):
They come back out of it.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
They come back out of it. Now, imagine being that
poor iguana.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
You jump up in the tree, right and then all
of a sudden you freeze up, you pass out, you
fall out of the tree, You hit tom in the head,
and then you're on the you're on the ground there.
You gotta mark your way all the way they got there,
all the way back up to that tree.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
It's tough. But they don't live in trees.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
They live everywhere yeah, I know, but you've worked all
the way up there and now you're all the way
on the ground floor.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
That's to I'll never hung out with iguanas have you?

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Oh my god. Growing up, my cousin had an iguana.
This is a true story that we got when he
was like eight years old. My cousin. The iguana was
about six inches long. Who was eight years old, my cousin,
my cousin was The iguana lived to be thirty and
grew to be like the size of almost an alligator,
to the point where it had its own room at
my aunt's house that like no one could go in
and mess with and they had to like they had

to feed it, let us under the door, like the
thing was in jail because they were afraid of it.
