Speaker 1 (00:00):
What would point five kazy?

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Okay, Sarah being joined by our friend, Seahawks legend John Ryan.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
Good morning, John, good morning, Thanks for having me in. Well,
it's nice to see you.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
You were here because your wife, Sarah Colona, was doing
a couple of comedy shows.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Yes, yes, two amazing sold out shows and Everett edam
Claw and she had a lot of fun.

Speaker 4 (00:17):
We had a lot of lot of fun after the
shows too.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Yeah, you guys partied in edam Claw.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
We did eat them claw up. They'll never be the
same after we rolled through there.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Well, I did see some highlights.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Your wife is a great follow on Instagram if you
guys aren't following her or John, and John does join
us every Friday for kicking it with John Ryan, and
you talk about a variety of things. You have a
lot of different interests. Wearing my Portland Pickles shirt today
is your baseball team. But you are just back from
spring training.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Yes, and you are still roading for the Mariners.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Yes, I am, I am. I love the Mariners. As
I said, like when I was here, I was a
season ticket holder for ten years. And it's funny. When
I I was living in Wisconsin, I used to do
all these minor league games. I had a single a
team there called the Wisconsin timber Rattlers, and at the
time they were the low A affiliate of the Mariners.
So I like, before I moved here, I watched all
these like future Mariners. Then I moved here and I

(01:13):
got to see them come up. So it was it
was destined to be a Mariner's film.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
That's cool.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
So when you were at spring training, did you see
anything were you at Mariners games? Did anything like stand
out to you? Like, are we going to get a
good year from a Hulu?

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Like Julia looked good, Ronnie Roseraina looked really good too,
So that's gonna be really good at the front of
the lineup. I do wish they would have went out
and signed, as my frustrating rant went the other day,
another bat or two, you know, because they have this
pitching staff right now.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
This starting rotation is absolutely insane.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
You know, I don't know how long they can hold
on to those five guys for because, as Josh Turner said,
it's like a unicorn rotation. It only happens, you know,
maybe once in a generation, once in a lifetime. So
we got to put some runs up behind those guys.
You know they can't. We can't be winning games three
two wall season.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
No, And I think it's the same disappointment each year
where you think, Okay, the Maritors are gonna sign somebody,
They're gonna sign somebody. I mean a Rosa Ringe. Getting
him last year was big. So we just got to
hope everybody stays healthy and our bats come alive. Opening
Day is the twenty seventh, which is next Thursday. That's
twenty seventh. Everybody's nodding at me.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Well, the real opening day was this morning, yes, in Tokyo,
And I set my alarm for three am, and I did,
and I woke up, went to the bathroom, press record
and went back to bed.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna do it. No, I'm
not gonna do it.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I have a bunch of Dodgers and Cubs in my
fantasy baseball and I was the number I had the
number one.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Pick this year. So do you know who I took
at my number one pick?

Speaker 4 (02:41):
You? Oh, number one overall? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:43):
One Sodo o Tani?

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Oh yeah, okay, ye come on now I have I'm
gonna'm a fantasy league. It's been going on for fifteen years.
But it's like a three man keeper league.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Our first round is by like our fourth round. So
I've been I was prepping for that makes sense?

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Makes sense.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Well, I'm already off to a great start because he
went to for four today.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Yeah, but three o'clock in the morning. So I just
spoil the game for you haven't watched it.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
Actually, I couldn't help myself.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
I already looked up all the stats on the game
and everything, so I was looking at it on the
way over here.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
So we Gibbons and I are going to go tomorrow
to team Upile Park. They do this preview of all
the new food and drinks and stuff coming out, so
that happens tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Super excited.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
If you're not following me on Instagram or Facebook, I'm
at Sarah Kays okay because each year when they do this,
all we do is post food pictures and it's the
ultimate food.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
I've been almost every park and they do it up
the best I look anyone. I think in terms of food,
the food is phenomenal at that park.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Yeah, for sure. So you are going to join us
for kicking it with John Ryan this week?

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Absolutely?

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Because you always have an interesting perspective on something, and
it's not always sports.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Like we found out you hate Ferris Wheels.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Yeah, they're terrible.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
And we found out that you like cotton candy, which
is super.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
It's been really fun, you guys.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Let me do this because all my friends and family
have been hearing these passionate rants about nothing for years
and now I just get to like s view it
on all the listeners of Casey. Okay, so you guys
have to listen to these terrible ranchs that I go
on about pretty much nothing.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Yep, black blue yummy blue yummies.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Why men's field to wear thongs?

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (04:12):
Yes, I know all the things I'm very passionate about.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Well, John will join us for kicking it with John Ryan.
That happens at seven twenty five on Friday. Do you
know what you're going to talk to us about this week?

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Not yet, Okay, it'll probably hit me in a bar
later on this afternoon.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
In enim claw claw the wearest thing to hit you
claw tell.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
You John Ryan, Seahawks Legend. Thank you for joining us
and we will talk to you on Friday.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Thanks for having me on
