Have you ever heard of 'microplastics'? EPA researchers classify them as a series of plastic particles, ranging from the size of a pencil eraser to a single nanometer. To put things into perspective, a strand of human hair is nearly 80,000 nanometers wide. As it turns out, not only are these particles all around us, they can enter the human body.
