Speaker 1 (00:00):
And welcome to Gun Radio, Utah. No apologies.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
We are live from flash my Brass's new location, the
grand opening in Orum. Is it probo or or it's
Orum right exit two sixty nine.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
Get here.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
They're gonna be open special for us till six o'clock tonight.
Be here, fantastic deals and we're gonna have Brent Brent
connect on in just a sec.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Bill. We have a heck of a show though.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Yes, we do a lot to cover today, and.

Speaker 4 (00:30):
I'm gonna give the You.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Wanna know what we're gonna cover, because I'll tell you what.
We're gonna come a lot of.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Stuff to our listening audience. Clark has been caffeinated.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Okay, so when you come in, Yeah, when you come in,
you can get a free bucked up energy drink. And
some of the energy drinks have one hundred milligrams of caffeine.
Some of them have three hundred mileograms caffeine.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
And some people have had both.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
And I didn't know which. I didn't know which was which.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
That they were very tasty, and uh so I might
have had a can or two. So anyway, this one
has a deer on it, or it has maybe it's
an elk, a very angry looking elk, white gummy deer anyway,
So let me tell you so, we're gonna we're definitely
gonna have brand On in just a sack here because
he's literally right across the table from us where live
Flash My Brass is grand opening of their new their

(01:21):
second location. They still have their location in Draper, but
the new one in Orum and we'll give you the app.
It's just exit two sixty nine. You see the big
signs on there. We're gonna talk about Donald Trump getting
fact checked in his Harris Trump inter or debate, and
how we fact checked the fact checkers or John Lott.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Did and uh and and the FBI quietly, very quietly UH.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Confirmed that Czechoslovakia company again buying stuff from buying Vista
outdoor stuff, uh, including like Remington a heavy shot out
door stuff like that, and and lots more. So we're
going to talk about that. Also, Bill did get an
elk technically, but there's there's more to that story. There's

(02:13):
a lot, there's more to that story. But I want
to bring on Brent connect right now. Brent, thank you
for inviting us down to the new open what's the
address exactly, a flash my brass here.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
All right, the news store. We are at eighteen oh
two sand Hill Road in Orum. If you take that
exit two sixty nine, it's University Parkway. Turn head back
down sand Hill Road like you're going southbound, and it's
just four or five blocks off. You'll pass Brent Brown, Toyota,
and a couple other things near here.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
It is it literally borders the freeway, yes, And I
mean if you would, if I were to hop the fence,
I'd be on the freeway.

Speaker 5 (02:48):
You're not going to get our signs from the freeway.
We're right next to the freeway, so you'll see it. It
kind of screams at you, flash my brass wholesale, ammo.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
If you're coming from the south, just before you get
the two sixty nine exit, thing you see then the
huge signs wash my brow.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Absolutely and the big sign out on sand Hill Road too.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
And the big sign on sand Hill Road plenty of parking,
And I mean, okay, so I.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Looked around at all the orange signs. Yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
And I've been in your draper store a million times
and the you know in the last couple of months
that the prices have for the cases haven't changed. And
so when I came in here and I was honest
with you, I said, these look like the same prices, Brent,
And what did you tell me?

Speaker 5 (03:32):
I said, right now, we're doing twenty five dollars off
all cases. It doesn't matter what it is, twenty two
nine mil, hunting rounds, five, five, six, two two three,
everything's an additional twenty five dollars off.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Okay, your prices were already absolutely fantastic, and now you're
taking twenty five bucks off. Whether it be a two
hundred dollars case a three hundred dollars case, doesn't matter.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
Right Yeah, and no, absolutely so. Really it's it's such
an opportunity to get it right now. And we were
talking just before the show about how where pricing maybe
is going or where it's you know, speculation, and just
with everything this year, with some of the powder and
primer issues and then going into the election. Now we're
going into the holiday season and hunting.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
There's an election, I know, right is there.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
It's it's such an opportunity or opportunity time to buy
in terms of selection, availability, pricing, you name it. I mean,
some of the stuff is as cheap as it was
five years ago, before COVID, before the Ammo shortage, We're
right back there. Even when you factor in the inflation
of the last few years, we've the pricings there. So

(04:40):
just if you're looking for Ammo, yeah, just at such
a good time to buy.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
So are you telling me that I shouldn't be waiting
for cheaper prices?

Speaker 1 (04:50):
It ain't gonna happen, is it.

Speaker 6 (04:52):
It's doubtful that it gets much cheaper than that.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
I cannot see it.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
And I'm actually amazed with supply chain and all the
other country that have You know that we rely on
to get lad to get copper, to get nitrocellulose, breast
cases you name it, and primers, you know, and and
and some of that is our own fault.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Our e p A has shut down a lot of
lead and type of things.

Speaker 5 (05:15):
Shifted a lot of capabilities overseas, and we are not
as self reliant as we used to be. I know
you kind of alluded to it. I don't know if
that's in another segment, but no, Yeah, we can talk
about with what's going on with our A lot of
these heritage AMMO brands of the US. You know, the
things that your dad and Grandpa grew up on too,
Remington Federal Estate, Cci Blazer, They're they're all going to

(05:39):
be owned now by this Chech group, And so, I mean,
it doesn't leave a lot of US.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
Owned AMMO anymore.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
There's Winchester, there's quantity, you know, as far as some
big ones, but there's a lot of smaller players as well.
But it's it's kind of unfortunate to see some of
these big heritage brands going overseas as far ownership.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Well, and let me tell you, I mean, you're in
a retail industry professional and so when they make a
deal like that through Vista, which they just did another
one selling Remington's everything from camelback to heavy shot to
and that and sold this to another Czechoslovakian company which
may or may not be the same one, but anyway,
we'll figure that out. So they have to go through

(06:23):
a lot of federal you know, US federal type things. Yeah,
and so then when the checks own it, when they
decide to sell it somebody, they don't have to.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
They don't care about what.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
The US federal stuff is unless they're selling it back
to US. So So yeah, that to me.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
That is.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
I think there's a very tenuous hold we have on
this and we have zero control after it, and.

Speaker 5 (06:48):
That I don't have anything bad to say about that
Chech group, but I would much rather see the Ammo
companies remain US owned and that we have the capability
to do what we need we need, rather than being
dependent on another country running that for us.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Yeah, exactly, get in here. You have two, two, three,
you have five, five six, you have three. Oh way,
you have a ton of three away. Yeah, you've got
three different brands of fifty not brands, but types of fifty.

Speaker 6 (07:16):
Cow you were looking at this, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Yeah, you've got lots of half inch wide projectile.

Speaker 6 (07:23):
Means if you don't know about flash my brass.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
What we really specialize in is focusing on the bulk
way of selling Ammo. It's like the Costco or the
Sam's Club of Ammo, and just trying to focus on
that's how we can give the best prices is by
selling it.

Speaker 6 (07:39):
At such a high volume.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
So we just we try to move cases and cases,
pallettes and palettes at the very lowest prices possible.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
One other thing before we go.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
You've got clothing, you have five eleven, you have truce back,
you have proper all the big brand names. You've got shorts,
you've got shirts, you've got jackets, you've got polos.

Speaker 5 (08:01):
And it's all between five and fifteen dollars. It's already
out that we got.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
We found a few things, and I know the trouble.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
So we've got overalls.

Speaker 6 (08:10):
I see you guys had your Ghostbusters Coop.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Yeah, yeah, I gotta tell you so, I mean that's
just an aside and so uh yeah, I literally.

Speaker 6 (08:21):
Had new clothing tags attached.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
It's just we we found a deal that liquid ate
some of this, but it's no more than fifteen dollars.

Speaker 6 (08:28):
A lot of it's five and ten dollars. Like you said,
the brands are.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
I saw a jacket.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
I saw a jacket, a lightweight jacket that was one
hundred and sixty nine dollars. It was fifteen dollars, and
this is this is five leven stuff in truth. Back anyways,
when we come back on gun Radio Utah, I'm gonna
have some more bucked up energy drink that I get
free here and we'll be right back.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Stay tuned and welcome back to gun Radio, Utah. So
glad to have you with us. As actually beautiful Saturday afternoon.
I honestly didn't think it was going to turn out
this night, but what a great day to have a
grand and opening down here. And we're at flash or
flash my brass, Flash your brass down here in orm Utah.
And as Clark would say, it's those provo touching people.

Speaker 6 (09:12):
We're almost on.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
That exact or arms provo touchers.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Now, Bret, you've got some great things going on. In
addition to the pricing, you've got some giveaways you're going in.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
So every one hundred dollars you spend, we've got you
get a free Ammo can with fifty rounds of twenty
two and twenty rounds of nine mil defense Ammo. And
then we're doing a raffle right net Well, you can
sign up today for the raffle that will draw tonight,
which is for a thousand rounds of nine mil. We've
got free drinks, of course, free twenty two just for
coming in.

Speaker 6 (09:41):
You can come and get as.

Speaker 5 (09:42):
Wired as Clark is unbucked up for copy exactly.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
So, so in addition to your low prices already, you're
doing an additional twenty five dollars off each case of
Ammo that you purchase and you're giving away free AMMO
with that purchase.

Speaker 5 (10:00):
And the so just getting I talked to Clark last
week or sorry this week about going into it. And
so we're going to extend this for all the gun
Radio Utah listeners that will honor this twenty five dollars
off all next week as well as today, So that
case sale will continue through next week Saturday.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
On behalf of all the Gun Radio Utah listeners. We
thank you, Brandon.

Speaker 6 (10:21):
Oh, you're welcome.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Let's see address again.

Speaker 6 (10:24):
Eighteen oh two sand Hill Road, Orum.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Okay, eighteen oh two, Exit two sixty nine either either
direction of the freeway and we're on the eastern side
of the freeway.

Speaker 5 (10:34):
The deals as well are at the Draper store which
is four thirty eight West one hundred and twenty third South.
So if you're in Salt Lake County and that's closer,
you can get the same deal, same selection and Draper
as well.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Awesome, awesome, fantastic. Okay, Bill, you've got this. So we
talked about. Okay, Donald Trump's in a debate with Kamala
and the last one and the only debate, and he
makes the claim something about crime comes up and he says,
crime is through the roof. There's never been more crime.

(11:05):
This is affecting people and crime, violent crime is through
the roof. And the was it CBS. I want to
say it was CB whoever the moderator ABC? Okay, anyway,
he says, oh, and he basically fact jacked Trump. And
he says, did you hear that train coming right through here?

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Anyway?

Speaker 2 (11:29):
And he says, oh, no, Actually, the FBI states that
crime is now down. Uh you know, during the Biden administration,
crime is down, and you know, in such a wonderful
thing and we have Biden and Harris administration to thank
for that is essentially I'm paraphrasing, all right, and and
Trump says, no, no, no.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
That's that that's bull in fact, you know what, play that?

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Okay up for some reason, apparently it's not coming through
on our end.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
So anyway, anyway, Trump was.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Saying that Venezuela and some of these other countries are
emptying out their prisons and Kamala is receiving them with
open arms, and then they come in and they commit crimes.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
And that may be one reason.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
But anyway, so crime, so the FBI said crime is
down two point one percent.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
And that's a big chunk.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
That's huge, you know, that's a big chunk to say
crime is down two point one percent, and Biden and.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Harris takes.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
Crime is down, but gun sales are exponentially concealed carries.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
Up twenty nine states.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
Yeah, so but crime is down.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
But crime is down.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
Okay, So they can't have it both ways, you know,
permitless carry and more guns than ever before, but crime
goes down. But then and in this fact checker guy
you know with ABC says, oh yeah, the FBI says
this Trump correctly, and I think John Lott had actually
coached him on this, said no, no, no, no, no, no.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
That's because.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
Twenty five percent of the big cities in the United
States aren't doing self reporting. They aren't reporting their crime
stats to the FBI, and they're allowed to self report,
and I don't know if there's any check to see
if they if.

Speaker 4 (13:19):
They're an election it's an election year, and.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
So yeah, and so now the FBI, though under scrutiny,
very quietly, just late last month, revised their figures. Guess
what bill actually, crime not down two point one percent,
violent crime up four point five percent for twenty twenty
two a six percent swing. I mean, but they did

(13:44):
this so quietly. They just kind of put it in
this report, didn't say anything.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
About it all the while, all the while.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
They're still dealing with You can't trust these numbers because,
like I said, the cities have to populate that information
to the FBI. The FBI doesn't just gather the information
up from the cities. And they have that the big cities,
it's down seventy percent on their reporting, down seventy percent
on their reporting from the big city, and from apparently

(14:13):
all the from all the cities it's down seventy percent.
But one fifth of the cities don't even report anything.
All right, So either crime is down and we have
more guns and more permitless carry, you know, twenty nine
states now or and that's the reason crime is down,
or crime is up.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
But I'll bet you that it isn't the.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Permit holders, the law abiding gun people that are committing
these crimes, because that would be that would be headline
number one if it was. And so I think you
can take it on good authority that it's not. All right,
what do we got on time? Okay, we'll still got okay,
So what do we got here, So we've got that.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Get down to flash my brass. We're over it.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Flash my brass at the is it eighteen oh one Sandhill?

Speaker 4 (15:03):
Drive yep?

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Okay, eighteen o one sand He'll drive in orm, come
on down.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
The only time I was mentioning to Bill and to
Brent that the only time it's bad to have too
much ammo is if you're swimming or on fire.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
So well you know about the fire part.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Really yeah, Oh, I did throw some ammunition in el campfire,
an Elk camp. I caused a little bit of a
stir by throwing some ammunition in the fire.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
Well, we're ill sitting around.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
If you're gonna pull stuff out of your pockets and
throw into the fire, make sure you know what you
have in your pockets first.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Well, I knew there wasn't anything important in there except for.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
Some twenty two.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
There was some ammunition, and it popped off, and yet
again we know that the bullet didn't go anywhere. In fact,
the only thing that really left the fire was a
was an ember, a big trunk, a tiny chunk of wood.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Okay, it was on fire, all right.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
So anyway, all right, so we've got that, but I
find it very interesting that the fact checkers just got
fact checked by the FBI.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
And John Lott had been saying this all along.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
The other thing is it's interesting that that that rays
of four point five percent, not a lowering of two
point one in violent crime, is a lot closer to
the National Crime Victimization Report or survey that actually talks
to people, and when they talk to people, they say,

(16:30):
have you been a victim of a robbery, a burglary,
an assault?

Speaker 1 (16:35):
You know this kind of a thing.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
And they actually do this survey which has come to
find out it's much more reliable, much more accurate as
to what and they've been doing the survey for so
many years and they have found that's why the FBI
data was so suss Well, John Lott said it was
so suspicious.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
Mind because and I think John brought this up to
when we had on the show a while back, is
that you know, some of these big cities, these big
metropolitan areas, people are not reporting the crime because they
know no one's going to come out to check on it,
no one, no police are going to come out to
investigate it. So that four percent, four and a half percent,

(17:21):
it's gonna be even you know, in theory, it's it's
much higher.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
Okay, Bill, you know what I'm gonna do though, start Monday,
I'm gonna find out Salt Lake City reporting.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Yeah, I'm gonna find out if Salt Lake City we should.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
We should be we need to start tracking that. I mean,
we've seen some pretty interesting, uh murder cases here in Utah,
and I said, boy, there's one someone had a gun
killed a person shouldn't have had that gun in the
first place, and what are they doing? And I wish
I'd challenge our media to follow up on these cases

(17:53):
a little more so we can see what's actually happening,
what our our state and county DA's are doing.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
So you bring up a great point in just the
last you know, thirty seconds or so we've got in
this segment, is that you know, people say, oh, this
guy you know had a gun and he shot somebody.
My question is always was that person legally allowed to
have a gun? Because there are existing controls over people
who commit crimes that they are then barred from a

(18:20):
few things, most most predominantly firearm ownership and possession and
carry and that type of thing.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
But we never You're right.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
The news doesn't ask that question, did this was this
person unlawfully in possession of the firearm? And I think
the news has been getting better because they do say
what the charges are, and a lot of times the
charges are unlawful possession of a firearm in addition to
shooting somebody or something like that.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
Excuse me when they go down and and plead their case,
though a lot of times those charges are dropped.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Oh my gosh, Bill, wait a minute, I thought that
that our district attorney for Soakes County wasn't going to
a plea bargain anymore on gun charges. I mean, I
remember that it was in the news and everything, so
something must be a skew. Anyways, when we come back
on Gun Radio, Utah, we are live from flash my
brass and Orum eighteen oh one sand Hill Road.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Get down there, they're open until six.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
Fantastic deals and get some clothing, some cool tactical loathing.
All right, stay tuned eighteen oh one Sandhill Road. Take
exit two sixty nine, which is University something University park
wet Parkway.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
Take that and go.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Border the east Side Freeway. All right, fantastic, fantastic deal.
Twenty five dollars off cases and you can sign up
for raffles. You get free Ammo if you buy like
what one hundred bucks or something hundred bucks and you
get free nine and twenty two and an Ammo can
and bucked up energy drinkers there and they got they
got clothing.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
This is kind of a one off kind of a thing.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
But tons of pants and shorts and shirts and jackets
and overalls.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
They have over We did the We've got the cover
alls and the coveralls and covered and we're talking five
to eleven proper trucepec.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
All good now, anyway, So what was I, oh, fifty fifty.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
We were talking about fifty cowl on the break, we
were talking about the fifty cow. And so I'm getting
I'm gonna get some more fifty ae. You asked me
what I was gonna buy. I'm gonna buy fifty action
Express from my from my degal and then I'm gonna
get uh some more bo wolf. I try to get
the heaviest stuff I can for the fifty baiol wolf

(20:35):
and that what the just because it's a big it's
a big cartridge, and I just want I just want
the heaviest you know, round I can get for that thing.
It's kind of about what they call a boom splat.
But anyway, side that, oh casey Jane, your team anyway, So,
and the fifty BeO Wolf is an interesting cartridge because

(20:55):
you can you can chamber it in an AR regular
AR fifteen, not the A ten, but the AR fifteen.
It's the same length generally speaking as a five five six.

Speaker 4 (21:05):
You just need to replace out your upper.

Speaker 2 (21:07):
Yeah, you just replace the upper and pop it right
on there and you've got a I think it's essentially
the same power as a forty five to seventy I think.
I think it's it's generally around that pretty impressive. And
you use the same magazines. In a twenty round mag
I think you only get seven rounds and or something,
so it instantly becomes you know, so, you know what,

(21:30):
So you Californians, you get caught with a twenty round
mag just say, hey, I'm not shooting five five, I'm
shooting fifty bailwolf out of them.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
Only seven rounds.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
So anyway, good thinking there, clerk.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
Hey, so I was in a zoom or I was
in a zoom online meeting with the legislator. Fantastic legislator
Representative rex Ship and he is. He's bringing up again
something that we brought up many times in the legislature,
gun safety in schools. And because we hear about we

(22:05):
hear the hue and cry from the public saying, you know,
when when kids get ahold of a gun, we're talking
little kids.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
When they get a hold of a gun, they're.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
Curious, not necessarily malicious, like a fourteen year old, but
an eight year old or something. And the gun is unsecured. Folks,
if you have a firearm that is unsecured right now
and someone who shouldn't have access to it could get
access to it, go secure.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
That gun, okay.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
And I mean if you want to keep it handy
and readily available for use and keep it loaded, that's
up to you. But they have you know, they have
instant access lock boxes and that kind of stuff. You
can get him at Sportsman's Warehouse all day long and
other places are online. But so we start talking about this,
and there was a representative there from Sale.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
We say the the.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
School board, I'll just go ahead and say that I'm
not gonna say name or anything like that. It's the
kind of stuff. It's the kind of stuff that I've
had to deal with that. We have had to deal
with you Utah shooting sports count lobbyists for a long
time as to priorities, And what we're trying to do
is teach kids, hey, there's a gun, it's not a toy,
it's an actual gun, it can really hurt or kill you,

(23:14):
and just some real simple things. We're not promoting firearm ownership,
but we certainly aren't also denigrating or demonizing firearms. So
we strike that very very I think educational position. Well,
this person said, you know, as we're talking about curriculum

(23:35):
and who's going to teach it and how often it'll
be taught, and you know what the curriculum will look like, they.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
Said, do we really have time to do We're.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
Talking about a five to ten minute segment, okay, honestly,
And they said, do we really have time? Because I
don't know if the if the higher ups in the
state's come board are gonna appreciate this, because this is
going to take time out of a already very busy
schedule wool for our students. And I said, hey, I
get it, you know, but the only reason we should

(24:07):
even consider doing this is if we're serious about protecting
our children. But if we're not, then okay, let's not
even consider doing this.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
Well, it's a good point you bring up, some a
very valid point because we look at some of the
other dangers that our youth have to deal with, whether
it's with jugs, you know, alcohol, we talk about those things,
you know. We talk about the risks of you know,
impaired driving, you know, and driver's ed. We talk about

(24:38):
all kinds of things. This is one of those things
that I truly believe that we need to stay on
top of and don't be afraid because it's something that
the kids are going to come up sometime in their life.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
Okay, question Bell, When you were growing up, and we're
the same age, When we were growing up, our parents
taught us about guns. I know my dad did. Oh yeah,
and other adults in that same realm taught us about guns.
And they knew about guns because their parents had probably
taught them. We have an interesting situation now where there's
a lot of parents with their kids that they don't

(25:18):
know about firearms. Now you say, well, they probably won't
have any guns in the house then, granted, but there's
if there's not a gun in your house, there's one
next door.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
That's the odds and teach your kids. Teach your kids
about guns.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
But if you don't know, there are tons of people
and it's not going to cost you anything. It tends
to go to your gun store and ask, hey, who
can I you know, can I get my kid in
a class? Or can somebody literally come over to my house.
I bet there's somebody in your among your neighbors, friends, family,
coworker or something like that that'll do that. But anyway,
so we've been talking about that, there's likely to be

(25:54):
some legislation coming up on that this year.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
Hey, I see that Lena Mikalac Oh.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
Yeah, and and is partnering. I don't I don't want
to know if it's an official partnering with sig Sour
and flux Rader.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
And the flux Rader is a.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
Really neat it's a utah company by the way, uh
we we kind of promoted them on a shootah But
flux Rader is a chassis if you will that you
can drop a at the time right now, a sig
P three twenty fire control group. You know, the innerds,
the guts into it, and you now have a really

(26:41):
cool PDW. Personal Events weapons short, you can get it
with a brace or you can get it with a
stock and all of the cool things. And Lena on
her Instagram or utah, I don't know whatever her channel is.
She's shooting the heck out of this thing, and she
she seems like she really loves it.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
I got one.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
I got one from my birthday from from your cousin Cody.
Oh actually, and uh, because Cody has something to do
with that now, I think too.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
So anyway, yeah, and uh, and I can't wait.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
So I got to go talk to I got to
talk to Erica and get uh and get another because
I want to dedicate a three twenty just to that.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
Well, it'd be nice if we get Lene on. We
need to get her on the show, because.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
There's somebody that just came and is listening in his
earphones right now to us live, and I want to
say hi to him.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
He's wearing BYU Blue, I think, yeah, so anyway.

Speaker 4 (27:30):
I should wear it proud too.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
So so yeah, we got to get Lena.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
And Flux Rader on at the same time. So yeah, anyway,
cool stuff. Yeah, all right, Hey, when we come back,
we've got a couple more things to cover, so stay tuned.
We're live at Flash of My Brass eighteen oh one
sand Hill Road in orm at the grand opening, and
it's uh, it's lots of fun.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
Get down here.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Fantastic deals off, they're already low prices on m twenty
five bucks off any case of Ammo.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
And welcome back to gun Radio, Utah. Glad to have
you with us on this Saturday afternoon. And we are
here live at Flash my Brass and you can stop
buy eighteen oh two sand Hill Road here an oorm
Utah and stop buying and come say hi to us.
And you might even distract us while we're on the show,
but that's perfectly fine because we're a grand opening. It

(28:23):
is a grand opening here. It left some great, great
deals And even if you've got that specific caliber or
Ammo that you are looking for, that hard to find stuff,
I bet you they have it here.

Speaker 4 (28:37):
They are stocked on their shelves here with all kinds of.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
Do you have a family member or friend or coworker
or neighbor that's hard to buy Christmas gifts for? This
would be the line, I'm a box of Ammo. Yeah,
you know, we'll buy an entire case of Ammo. And
then give it as neighbor gifts.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
Everybody's got. Everybody's got like.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
Either a twenty two or a nine mil or something.
And this is such a good deal you could even
use as a white elephant.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
Yeah, but you know, and you went to County.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
I mean, we could pretty much pick any of the
calibers here and give those as neighbor gifts.

Speaker 4 (29:08):
You probably could.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
I'm gonna try to talk Casey Jane into into agreeing
to that.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
So, so we were just talking to miss Henry Winkler. No,
you don't Miss Henry Winkler anyway.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
So you had something, we got it, and you get
ahold of the ATF this week because Phil, what's your schedule,
We're gonna go see the ATF.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
So so again you know that the saga about about
the ATF has my bump stock. And I finally got
a text message from this ATF special agent that I
have been working with, and he says, hey, your bump
stock was just approved to be released. And I'm like, oh, yeah,
that happened a while ago in the United States Supreme Court.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
It was approved.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
So anyway, and so I you know, I'm not here
in Salt Lake all the time. But I'm here often,
and but when I am here, hey, I'm moving and
doing stuff. I'm you know, here and there, so I
don't got time for grass to grow unto my feet.
But I did say, hey, I'm going to be here Friday,
and I'll be here through you know, through Sunday, maybe
into Monday. You know, I'll drop by and pick it up,

(30:10):
you know, and nothing crickets, crickets, where's your cricket thing?

Speaker 4 (30:16):
You scared the heck out of me because you're like, Okay, I'm.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
Want to pick it up. Now you want to come
with me?

Speaker 3 (30:20):
Well, yeah, and you know what my bit we have
a bet you lost it? Yeah, and now you're like saying, hey,
I want to come over you. It's like it's like
it's like my mom asking for a tupperware back and
I'm like, oh, crap, which one.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
You know?

Speaker 3 (30:34):
She knows I've got it, you know, you've they've got it,
but they can't find it. Because I'm going to say
they don't have it.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
So what if they broke that? What if they broke it?
What if the ATF broke it?

Speaker 2 (30:47):
And somehow then I'm going to take it because they
used to call it a machine gun, and so anyway,
so I'm gonna take it to the gunsmith a sportsman's warehouse.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
There's my segue. There go the gunsmith.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
This sportsman's warehouse can fix your bump stock or whatever
it is. If you want it Sarakota. You want it engraved,
you want it reblued, you want your stock fixed. You
want some machining done on a rebarreled, rechambered, rejiggered. You
want a lot of a lot of threading pistol for
breaks or suppressors. Get it down to the gunsmith at

(31:21):
Sportsman's Warehouse sixteen thirty South fifty seventy West in Salt
Lake City, or give him a call at eight oh
one three zero four eighty seventy eight to one, three
zero four eighty seventy. Get it down to the gunsmith
at Sportsman's Warehouse. Uh Bill, there's another thing that I
gotta mention. In fact, I'm gonna mention it right now.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
And there it is. There's my copy on it. All right.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
So you remember we had Tyler Jason on with the
University of Utah pistol team and he was talking about
a they've got a raffle and a silent auction fundraiser
and an exhibition shoot. Let me give you the deats
on that now. I gotta put I put my glasses
on here because they h it's it's teeny tiny print here.

(32:05):
So if you go to w you remember how nobody
says www.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
All right?

Speaker 2 (32:11):
Anyway, if you go to thirty two auctions dot com
slash U of You Pistol, thirty two Auctions dot Com
slash U of You Pistol, there's a whole bunch of stuff,
including stuff from let's see here uh uh, Silencer co
aime point action target shields Slip two thousand, and the

(32:34):
Armory and Sandy where they're going.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
To be holding the exhibition shoot.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
Anyway, so you can get on now though, and and
and get hooked into this silent auction fundraiser. What it's
going to do is supports the U of You Pistol team,
and it helps them pay for the travel to the nationals,
and it helps them pay for new air pistols, which
they haven't had in a long time. So it's going
to a very worthy cause. Now that actually starts today

(33:02):
October nineteenth through the twenty fifth online. And so if
you go to thirty two auctions dot Com thirty two
the number, thirty two options dot com slash you of
you Pistol. Anyway, Then there's an exhibition shoot on October twenty.

Speaker 1 (33:18):
Fifth at the Armory Range in Sandy.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
That's the one that's right off the freeway on the
east side of the freeway at ninety two ten south
right there the Armory Range in Sandy. All day long
from ten to six thirty. They're going to be doing
actual shooting. The U of Your Pistol team will be there.
You can meet them. They'll do an exhibition shoot and
they're going to auction off any remaining items right there.

(33:42):
So anyway, go to thirty two auctions dot com slash
you of your Pistol and get on the You know
there's going to be silent auctions. I get some of
the best deals at silent auctions yea, And anyway, so
go there and do that.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
All right, what do we got?

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Oh? So, Bill, you were looking at pants over here
and you were telling me your woes about going to
men's warehouse?

Speaker 1 (34:09):
Is that right? Yeah? What was what was the problem
with the men's warehouse pants?

Speaker 4 (34:14):
Though, Well, they couldn't find they didn't have what I
was looking for.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
You mean, they weren't big enough enough because they.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
Didn't have the style that I was looking for.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
Style and the style.

Speaker 3 (34:27):
Yeah, but they sent me over to another one of
their competitors that's still owned by the same.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
So when you when you pick pants out, do you
go with your waist size pants or do you go
a little bigger because of the gun?

Speaker 3 (34:40):
Well, you have to go a little bit bigger because
of the know, if you're doing in the waistband, yeah,
but if I'm not doing in the waistband, no, just
go with the standard pants.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
But you do go on the waistband, and you never
know from one day to the next, well pants are
going to be wearing it. I'm oh, you're flashing. He's
flashing as nineteen eleven flat? What kind of is that?
Orangutang skin?

Speaker 1 (34:59):
What? What kind of skin is?

Speaker 4 (35:00):
Alligator with eel skin?

Speaker 1 (35:02):
Alligator with eelskin?

Speaker 4 (35:04):
Diamond?

Speaker 1 (35:05):
Okay, anyway, so that's uh, you guys guys all missed
it here too.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
We're coming up. We're coming up on that. So anyway,
so I'll let you know if the at F contacts
me on Honday. Yeah, you still don't say, we don't
have any actual dollar value on this though.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
We we really need a bet.

Speaker 3 (35:23):
I think I'll take you to dinner, dinner, or you
can take me to dinner. I'm okay, okay, but I
can guarantee you well, you know what.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
I should take you to dinner and make you eat broccoli. Yeah,
he wasted an entire plate serving a broccoli.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
Okay, But I believe they've lost it, and I'm sticking
to that until they prove otherwise.

Speaker 4 (35:49):
We know what it looks like. I know what it
looks like.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
Well we have video of it.

Speaker 3 (35:52):
Yeah, yeah, but I think they're scrambling trying to find it,
because I mean, when you're calling saying, hey, I'm on
my way if that up, it's like it's like when
you borrow a tool from your neighbor or something. It's like, hey, brother,
I'm coming back over to pick that up. It's like, oh, crap,
where is it?

Speaker 4 (36:07):
Where does it?

Speaker 1 (36:07):
And which tool was that?

Speaker 4 (36:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (36:09):
Which bump?

Speaker 3 (36:10):
I took that back to you a long time ago.
And they're gonna say, oh, yeah, Clark, you already came
by and picked that up.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
Yeah, hey, yeah, get down here.

Speaker 7 (36:16):
They're opening till six o'clock eighteen oh one cent, he'll
rope flash my rest grand open, So stop down and
until have a great I mean Jack and.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
I'm really true. Ye take care a
