Speaker 1 (00:06):
I got the money and have anybody, And welcome to
that show Friday, June thirteenth, Show fifty three ninety seven.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Let's finish up Colossians three, verse sixteen and seventeen. Let
the Word of Christ dwell in you, richly, teaching and
admonishing one another in all wisdoms, singing psalms and hymns
and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
And whatever you do in word or deed, do everything

(00:39):
in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to
God the Father through him. That was a mic drop.
Hear that, that's the mic drop. Yeah, buddy, welcome to
the final show of the we And oh my big

(01:02):
stories in the press box got tossed like a salad overnight,
And yeah, I mean, what do you do? The big
story is absolutely changed. However, we will stay the course
with our overall plan for the program. We're gonna We're

(01:25):
gonna do another edition of what would you Do? And
I mentioned it yesterday at the end of the show.
What would you do is dealing with Los Angeles and
you're the president. Would you send the Marines the National
Guard to exactly what Trump has done? Or would you
let California burn now, I mean, look, this is you're

(01:50):
in charge? Or would you come up with some other plan?
What would you do? We'll take your calls. Next hour,
We've got what's the beef? We've got all kinds of
things to talk about. Don't miss it. It's The Morning
Show with Preston Scott. Eleven minutes after the hour, This

(02:16):
Morning Show. Let's take a peek here. It's June thirteenth,
It's Friday the thirteenth. Whatever to that? Who cares? Seventeen
seventy seventy Marquis de la Fayette arrives in France to
aid the patriot cause. Who are you? And the Marquis

(02:40):
de Lafayette? Who are you? What a stud man? He
he had no reason to come here, none rich, but

(03:00):
believed in the cause of freedom, and he hated the Brits.
He's all in. I mean, you talk about he served
because there was something in his heart that compelled him

(03:21):
to do so. Eighteen oh five Lewis and Clark Expedition
reaches the great Falls of the Missouri Missouri River. You welcome,
doctor Moore. Nineteen seventeen, first US troops sent fighting in
Europe during World War One to part New York Harbor.
Nineteen sixty seven, this might be one of the first
documented cases of DEI in government. President Lyndon Johnson nominates

(03:49):
Thirgod Marshal to become the first black Justice of the
Supreme Court. It had nothing to do with him being black.
It had everything to do with him being an activist.
But he was placed on the court because he was black,
and he literally defined activist judges from that day forward

(04:14):
to paraphrase, I do what I think is right and
wait for the law to catch up. That's just the
opposite of a judge. That is not a judge, that's
a politician. A judge's job is to interpret the law

(04:35):
as it's written, and if it's wrong, so be it.
You interpret it as it's written, and then they change it.
See this is where courts across the country they did
DEI right here, right here, on this date in nineteen
sixty seven. Nineteen eighty three, the pro Pioneer ten becomes

(04:56):
the first spacecraft to lead the Solar System. Today's National
Golf Cart Day. Isn't it crazy how golf carts have
become a thing outside of golf. I remember seeing golf
carts pop up in a place in Arizona called Sun City,

(05:19):
and it was a retirement place for senior adults. Just
a bunch of old people hanging out. It's like, nah,
I don't think I want to be a part of that.
But I saw golf carts being used as cars because
they had little marts and they had I mean, everything
was self contained, so you could drive your golf cart around.

(05:40):
But today's National Golf Cart Day. Of course, it was
founded by Easygo, which is one of the largest golf
cart makers in the world. National Movie Night, National Random
Acts of Light Day, Random Acts of Light. Okay, okay, okay.

(06:02):
National Kitchen Klutches of America Day. I'm not making this up.
National Weed your Garden Day, National Sewing Machine Day, Wear
Blue Day, National Blame someone Else's Day, which is the
first Friday, the thirteenth of the year. Aren't you glad

(06:28):
you tuned in to find out all this stuff? All right,
we've got the big stories. I through the what I
had planned. I'll talk about that next week because overnight.
It's not often you say this. The world may have

(06:49):
changed May and I'm not saying for the better, for
the worse. I don't know we'll have to see, but
that is the big story. In the press box, we'll explain.
It's the Morning Show with Preston Scott sixteen almost seventeen
minutes past the hour. All right, let me put this

(07:22):
on your radar again. Last night, by the way, there
are two episodes of Alone on my DVR. First show
is an hour I haven't watched it, and they introduce
you to the cast, you learn about them, why they

(07:45):
were chosen. There'll be a mix of men and women.
And then in the second show from last night, it's
the drop they drop them off. I think because it's
an hour and a half. Cannot wait. But coming up

(08:14):
on the two weeks from tomorrow, two weeks from this weekend,
twenty eighth and twenty ninth, North Florida Fairgrounds, the thirty
fourth annual Big Ben Model Railroad Association Railroad Show and Sale.
That's right, the Model Railroad Show and sail show. Because

(08:37):
they set up these massive railroad sets and they're running
the railroads. It's it is. If you've ever set up
a model train set, or if you've just you love them,
even if you didn't have the space to do what
you've always wanted to do. It's whatever. It's parking's free,

(09:03):
and you will see some it's it's not like this
massive thing, but it's big enough. It's worth the ten
and it is just cool to look at all of
these different train sets set up, and they have just

(09:27):
about every scale imaginable. G scale, which is you'll often
see G scale if you go to an outdoor garden
at Christmas time and they want to set up a
train thing outside. G scale is oftentimes what's run outside

(09:47):
because it's it's stout. It's it's I had a G
scale when I was a kid. Then there's O scale,
and then the the small all are one started with
S scale, and then N scale, Z scale. It's it's

(10:12):
apparently roughly it's it's about the smallest out there. H
O stands for half. Oh, it's half the size of
the O scale, and it's probably the most common. I'm
a big fan of the teeny tiny guys. The problem
with the teeny tiny guys for the good news is

(10:34):
you can do some incredible stuff with very little space.
It's that small, but it's a challenge finding all the
other things you need to create a really cool set
for the train set, meaning design the scene, the landscaping

(10:55):
and all that keeping it to scale because I'm an
I'm if I were to ever have the space to
do something like that, and I doubt I ever will,
and that's okay. I would have to have the mountains
and the trees and the city and the cars and

(11:17):
the people all be the correct size. And if you're
looking at those teeny tiny ones, that's like that'd be
get out your tweezers to put those other parts in place.
But it's great and they sell stuff, so if you
are into model trains, this is where you go. They'll

(11:39):
have new and used, they'll have hard to find parts,
all kinds of things. So it is the it is
the show and sale. And again that is Saturday and Sunday,
June twenty eighth and twenty ninth, from nine am to
five pm. And you're gonna see layouts from Scale Z

(12:00):
to Scale G. And it's ten bucks. Kids twelve and
under get in free, so bring your grandkids and they
will love it. They will love it. I think that's
something I want to bring my oldest grandson to. It's like, yeah,
we gotta do this, we got it. You gotta get yeah, yeah, yeah,

(12:22):
all right, twenty seven minutes of that might be my
excuse to get into trains. I just thought of that.
I am there, I.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
Am good, I'm a happy example.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
Glenn is on nine to noon.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
I am stronger every day on WFLA.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
All right, big stories in the press box today we
have we have two, one, four and one domestic. If
you missed what has happened in our overnight, let's get
this report from Fox News Alex Hogan.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
Israel says that it's fighter jets have just begun striking
down some of these drones outside of Israeli airspace. We're also,
at the same time learning more about the complexity of
this mission carried out by the IDF and Masade that
was carried out over not just months, but years. This
is all through Operation Rising Lion. Israel says it used

(13:26):
two hundred aircraft, mainly fighter jets, to strike roughly one
hundred targets and hit the heart of Iran's nuclear program. Today,
Israel says that it destroyed dozens of radar installations in
surface to air missile launchers.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
Yeah, that's Israel I told Jose If you remember, I've
been telling everybody that if collectively understand we've been under Biden, right,
Iran's been building this capability under Biden. They've been rewarded

(14:03):
by Joe Biden. I said, if the world does not
stop Iran, don't worry, Israel will. If Israel has to
do this by itself, it will absolutely shut down the
nuclear program of Iran. To those of you that say, well, well,

(14:27):
America has nuclear weapons, what's the difference, The difference is
that America doesn't threaten to eliminate a nation from the map.
The difference is that we are we since the inception
of nuclear weaponry, the atom bomb, we have used it

(14:54):
as a deterrent and in the case of Hiroshima and Nagasaki,
to end a war. Had we wanted to just destroy
the nation of Japan, we could have. Do nations have
the capability of eliminating each other? Yes, they do. That

(15:14):
is the deterrent to using. The difference is nations don't
say that Iran has Israel is not going to watch
Hamas continue to wage war against it. The houthis waging
war against it. Iran using these two entities and others

(15:35):
as proxies, and Israel is not going to just sit
there and let Iran develop a nuclear weapon. It's just
not going to happen. And I've told you that repeatedly,
and Israel took action, and there you go. Now, the
other big story tomorrow is this day of protest across

(16:00):
the country, allegedly No King's Day or whatever it is.
And the imagery that they're using is one of bloodshed.
And so I think speaking on behalf of all of us,
though mindful, this is Brevard County. Here's Sheriff Wayne Ivy.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
So I'm gonna I'm gonna break it down for you,
all right. And if somebody wants to know what I
mean by turn violent, all right, this is what I mean.
If you resist lawful orders, you're going to jail. Let
me be very clear about that. If you block an
intersection or a roadway in Brevard County, you are going
to jail. If you flee arrest, you're gonna go to

(16:38):
jail tired, because we are going to run you down
and put you in jail. If you try to mob
rule a car in Brevard County, gathering around it, refusing
to let the driver leave in our county, you're most
likely gonna get run over and dragged across the street.
If you spin on us. You're going to the hospital

(16:58):
and in jail. If you hit one of us, you're
going to the hospital and jail and most likely get
bitten by one of our big, beautiful dogs that we
have here. If throw a brick, a fire bomb, or
point a gun at one of our deputies, we will
be notifying your family where to collect your remains at
because we will kill you graveyard dead. We're not going

(17:20):
to play. This has got to stop. You're watching what's
taken place out there. You're seeing police officers that are
being attacked, being spit on, being put in harm's way
just for doing their jobs. You're seeing ice agents that
are being targeted for doing their jobs. And you're seeing
obstructionists that are doing all of this standing in the

(17:44):
way of law and order.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
There you go, That's how you do it. That's how
you send a message. It will be fascinating to see
what happens in Brevard County, Florida, and maybe other counties
in Florida versus other parts of the country. This will
be a story to watch over the weekend. Forty minutes
after the hop, Thank you Sheriff, Sheriff Wayne Ivy, Ladies

(18:12):
and gentlemen.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Audio Magazine, a journey into whatever is left of journalism
and always pointing out and correcting what is not. The
Morning Show with Preston Scott BI We're gonna try it again.
We're gonna boldly go to uh, what would you do?

Speaker 2 (18:38):
So we'll start taking calls and hopefully we got a
few people willing to break the ice and start the conversation.
You just heard Wayne Ivy. Now, Wayne Ivy is doing
what every sheriff in every county in America ought to
be doing, outlining for every single potential protester. Let's be clear,

(19:04):
here's what's going to happen to you, and it graduates
from your going to jail to you will be dead.

(19:25):
He and many of us have watched the carnage unfolding
in Los Angeles and the helplessness that law enforcement, both local, state,
and federal feel when they do not have proper backing.

(19:48):
Now Donald Trump is supporting ice with the Marines and
the National Guard because Governor Knewsom refuses. Trust me, this
is not going to be the case in Florida with
Rohn Desandas It's just not you want to peacefully protest,
that's fine, wonderful. You start causing disturbances and harassing people

(20:12):
that want no part of your protest. You start spilling
into the streets, holding parades that are not licensed or permitted.
You're going to be rudely interrupted in the state of Florida.
But I want to put you in the chair of
the White House, in the West Wing, in the Oval Office.

(20:35):
You're the president looking at California, specifically Los Angeles. What
would you do? Would you do what he has done?
Would you do more than what he has done? Or
would you sit back and let Because doing nothing is
an option. He could just say to Ice, you know what,

(20:57):
pull out, not in response to the protests, but just
just leave them be. But now, okay, fine, let the
city burn, Let the citizens reap what they have sown
with their collective votes. I want to hear what you

(21:18):
would do? Eight five zero two zero five WSLA. It's
what would you do? A pretty serious topic this time?
Eight five zero two zero five ninety three fifty two
your calls. Who's gonna break the ice? Come on, step
up to the plate here? You be in charge, all right?

(21:54):
Second hour and it's Friday in the Morning Show with
Rustin' Skack morning friends. Good to good deb you with us.
We are asking a question of you and offering you
the opportunity to share. What would you do?

Speaker 6 (22:10):
Now?

Speaker 2 (22:10):
There are a couple of reasons why I do things
like this. We frequently second guests the decisions made by others.
It's part of life, right you armchair quarterback about everything
out there, and that's fine, nothing wrong with that. There
are people at armchair quarterback me all the time, and

(22:31):
that's fine. That's part of the fun of doing what
I do. I see things a certain way. You might
not see them that way. Okay, I'm putting you in
the chair of the oval office that is occupied by
the President of the United States, the commander in chief.
I'm asking you, what would you do if you were

(22:52):
in charge? You could do what the President has done,
send marines in the National Guard to Los Angeles, try
to stop the violence, to enforce federal law. I've had
people write me saying in that wrong to militarize cities.

(23:13):
He's not militarizing cities. He's enforcing federal law. It's what
has happened multiple times in this nation's history. Just you know,
when states don't do the right thing on issues, of
civil rights or of federal jurisdiction. The federal government steps in.

(23:40):
Gavin Newsom is flipping the proverbial bird at not just
Donald Trump, but more importantly, the sovereignty of this nation
and his own citizenry. But the question still remains, do
you agree with what Trump has done? Would you do more,
would you have gone further? Or would you have done

(24:04):
what many have suggested in my email box let it burn.
There's a strong argument that could be made. This is
what the voters in and around the large cities of
California have voted for. Let them reap what they've sown.

(24:24):
It is an argument, quite candidly that many have used
about Florida's capital city of Tallahassee. Let it do what
it's going to do. If the progressives want to ruin it,
let them ruin it. Eventually people will have enough. You
can say that, But Portland seems to indicate Seattle. Eh.

(24:50):
I don't know, so I'm asking I'm not going to
beliebor this. If you don't feel like weighing in. It
would be the first time we've done one these segments
where people haven't weighed in. But that's fine. I want
to my point is I looked at my email box
and I saw such a mixed bag of reactions. I thought, well,

(25:12):
let's just ask, so the phone numbers eight five zero
two zero five to WFLA. If I don't get any
calls in the next two minutes, that we're going to
move on to other things. There's lots of other things
to talk about in the news, and we will do that.
But if you'd like to weigh in, the phone lines
are open eight five zero two zero five WFLA. But again,
I'm only going to belabor this for another minute. Wayne Ivy,

(25:34):
the sheriff of Brevard County, we played the SoundBite of
him last hour, just absolutely laid out the game plan
for every county in the state of Florida. Whether others
other sheriffs follow suit, I don't know, but they need to.

(25:54):
Every county should be getting the attention of the news
outlets in their community, and they should be saying the
exact same things that Wayne Ivy said. It's not gonna
happen here. What's happening in Los Angeles is not going
to happen here. You spit on us, You're going to
the hospital and then you're going to jail because that's battery,

(26:15):
and we're gonna we're gonna we're gonna stop you from
spitting and whatever that takes that puts you in the hospital,
So be it, and you're going to jail. If you flee,
we're gonna run you down and you're gonna go to
jail tired. If you harm our officers, if you point
a gun, if you hurl explosive devices, we will shoot
you and we will tell your family where to pick

(26:36):
up your remains. That's what he said. Eight five zero
two zero five to b FLA. If you were President Trump,
what would you do in Los Angeles? Ten minutes past
the hour? Your calls are next here on the Morning
Show with Preston Scott. This is Morning Show with Preston Scott.

(27:03):
One line open, Sorry I need to wait. One line open.
Eight five zero two zero five WFLA. Chris, thanks for
calling in and breaking the ice. What would you do?

Speaker 7 (27:19):
Hey, Preston? I think that President Trump's doing exactly what
he should do. He needs to show that he's willing
to stop it. He's going to continue to enforce federal
immigration laws. But the California cities are sodom Go and
mora and we need to let them burn, and that
the Democratic Party wants to be lost life wife then
turn him into a fuller salt.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
So but but you know, doing what Trump is doing
is sort of stopping the burning of the city. Right,
So is he in your mind? Is is he just
delaying the inevitable?

Speaker 7 (27:53):
I think he knew that he's going to get pushed
back from the federal courts so that they will get
pulled back and the violence and rioting will continue. And
he say, hey, I was there to help you. You
refuse my help. Your city's burned though.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
Well, but you know that a federal judge ruled just
the opposite. Federal judge said to Gavin Newsom, know the
president's doing what he's legally entitled to do.

Speaker 7 (28:15):
I thought I just saw this morning that he got
He said that he needs to return the power of
the National Guard back over to the governor.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
Interesting, I haven't seen that yet. Send me that story
if you can find it for me. Chris Preston at
iHeartRadio dot com, thanks for weighing in. Eight five zero
two zero five WFLA Lester, thanks for calling in this morning.
You're sitting in the Oval office, what decision are you making.

Speaker 8 (28:38):
Well, you've got it for the loan.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
They don't like it. They don't lock it, but you can't.

Speaker 6 (28:45):
They can't leave the voters that voted for him by
the playoffs out there. Oh that's no different than what
Biden than Carolina.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Thank you very much, Lester. Phone's a little rough there,
but I appreciate it very much. Now is Gerald online four?
Or is he online three? All right, we're going to Gerald.
Good morning, Gerald, thanks for calling in.

Speaker 9 (29:06):
Yeah, good morning. Pression before I forget happy father, say
thank you. I think that he should do just what
he's doing the president, because if you don't do anything,
you don't know what's going to happen. And he's got
a responsibility to the citizens of that area because it's
still the United States of America, and that's it.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
Thanks very much. I appreciate it. Jerald, appreciate the phone call.
Let's go to Mark, Mark, thanks for calling in. What
would you do?

Speaker 6 (29:36):
I agree with Gerald, he's doing exactly what he should.
He's got a responsibility to the citizens of the United
States of America. But each and every person who gets
man hands laid on him ought.

Speaker 10 (29:48):
To be prosecuted.

Speaker 6 (29:49):
To the fullest extent of federal law. Do start putting
people in prison for years and a lot of these
other people are going to say they don't walk down,
and these hired thugs who are educating and doing your
violence are going to back off. But as long as
they can make money without consequences from George Sorows and

(30:10):
his ilk, this is gonna go on. You have to
you have to put people in prison.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
I agree one percent. Mark, Thanks very much. It's a
good snapshot of callers there. We're gonna unless you call
in here right now before the break, we're gonna we're
gonna terminate it here. But it's it's it's interesting. Los
Angeles is right now. It's citizens are falling victim the

(30:40):
way that the communities in and around Los Angeles lost
homes to burning, They're falling victim to poor leadership. This
is that this doesn't happen in Florida and in a
lot of states, not just Florida, but you know, we
live in Florida, most of us, and so we can
relate to that because of leadership, because of the governor,

(31:04):
because of the sheriffs that are for the most part
in lockstep and in total agreement. You go to states
run by Democrats. That's where this stuff always seems to happen,
in Democrat communities. All right, we'll fit another call or
two here, Sherry, you're gonna be next when we come back.

(31:24):
It's eight five zero two zero five w FLA eight
five zero two zero five ninety three point fifty two.
Your President, what would you do in Los Angeles?

Speaker 11 (31:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Yeah, of course the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is
in the mix of this that that's somewhat predictable. The
California Attorney General's praise the ruling, granting a day until

(32:01):
noon today and then they're going to go from there.
Bob Bonta, the Attorney General, said, it's an important step
forward in protecting our communities. That's hilarious, protecting our communities.
That's the whole reason that's being done is because you're
not protecting your communities. All Right, we got a couple
more calls here to get to the question is if

(32:23):
you were president of the United States, what would you do,
madam President Sherry? What would you do?

Speaker 12 (32:29):
Hi, good morning, Preston, Happy Father's.

Speaker 13 (32:31):
Day to you.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
Thank you.

Speaker 12 (32:35):
I believe what President Trump did is correct in federalizing
the National Guard. But I would take it one step
further and also any nonprofit that supports riots or non
people protests take away their federal funding.

Speaker 14 (32:51):
I wish we could do.

Speaker 12 (32:52):
State funding as well. At least you could pull the
federal funding for all these nonprofits that are bringing in
these people to riot.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Yeah, I agree, a bunch of NGOs out there using
some form of tax support to if for no other reason.
Tax support comes by virtue of not having to pay taxes. Right,
completely agree. One more caller here, Sandra, what would you
do if you were a president?

Speaker 8 (33:20):
Well, I agree with all the previous callers as well,
but I would if I was in the office, I
would step back once I've made my presence there, offer
that opportunity, but then step back. Did people of California
have just elected their officials, so maybe this would be

(33:40):
a sign to them to not relect them.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
So you would take kind of a halfway approach, offer
the help. If they don't accept it, let it burn. Yes, gotcha,
you know what that's actually? Yeah? Go ahead.

Speaker 8 (33:57):
I was just gonna say, when are the people of
California going to realize that it is not Trump it's
causing this and that it's the electives of California.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
Yeah, and then the predecessor, Joe Biden, otherwise known as
the O Biden administration. You're exactly right, Thanks very much
for the phone call. This is I think, I actually
think Sandra's onto what probably would have been the best
course of action to not run a foul of any
rogue district courts, which the Ninth Circuit tends to be.

(34:32):
But you just simply say, Okay, we're offering you. You
announce it to the world. We are ready to help.
We're ready to take control of the National Guard. What
this court ruling did is this court ruling said that
the California National Guard is under the purview of Governor
Gavin Newsom, not the President of the United States. That's

(34:53):
what US District Judge Charles Bryer said. He said, federalism
is not optional. Even the President cannot legislate by FIAT whatever.
In his order granted the playtiffs request for a temporary
restraining order halt federal control of the California National Guard,

(35:16):
and then Thursday evening, the government's emergency motion led to
a temporary stay by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals
of the district court's restraining order with a response due,
and so we've got the we've got a right now

(35:38):
it's sitting in the Ninth Circuit and we'll just have
to see what happens moving from here. But I think
it's important to note that I think Sandra's option is
pretty good, and that is, you offer the help, You

(35:59):
make it very public. You, I mean, the news was
the news. They're sitting on bridges, firebombing and throwing bricks
and cinderblocks through police cars. They are attacking federal officials.
You pull the federal officials out, you pull ice out,

(36:22):
and you say it's on you, California. You offer it
a help. The governor is stuck now, and that's probably
would have been a better move, because I really do
think that you have to let's go back to the
fires of last year. That was a literal burning of

(36:45):
communities to the ground. Why did it happen. It happened
because California made it impossible to deal with brush that
was grown and when it's dry becomes tender. They wouldn't

(37:07):
let brush get cleared. They wouldn't do prescribe burns, they
wouldn't do the smart things that you do to limit
the potential of a massive fire to do what it did.
This is just a different kind of fire, and Californians
will at some point perhaps wake up to the fact

(37:31):
they've elected this type of leadership or lack thereof. Twenty
seven minutes after the hour, come back with the big
stories in the press box. Next te w ufla half

(37:58):
hour away from what's the beef? Marverick calls, whatever it
is you want to get off your chest, We're here
for you. But first, let's let's piggyback off of our
topic for the last half hour. For those of you
that missed at last hour, this is what every single

(38:19):
sheriff in Leon County ought to be saying. And this
is just breathtaking lead good. There are protests planned in
a lot of the cities of Florida tomorrow whatever no

(38:44):
King's Day or something like that. I it's absurd. I
think that.

Speaker 6 (38:52):
You know.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
I just got an email from a listener that said
I would have held a press conference if I were
Donald Trump, and I would have made the offer made
the governor ask for help. We're here, standing by, ready
to help. We will not put our agents in harm's way.
If this is what you want. For the state of California,
this is on you. But as for Florida, this is

(39:20):
stand up and applaud type stuff from the Sheriff of
Brevard County, Wayne Ivy. He's making it abundantly clear to
protesters what they will be facing should they disrupt illegally.

Speaker 5 (39:38):
So I'm gonna I'm gonna break it down for you,
all right. And if somebody wants to know what I
mean by turn violent, all right, this is what I mean.
If you resist lawful orders, you're going to jail. Let
me be very clear about that. If you block an
intersection or a roadway in brevarc County, you are going
to jail. If you flee arrest, you're gonna go to

(39:59):
jail time because we are going to run you down
and put you in jail. If you try to mob
rule a car in Brevard County gathering around it, refusing
to let the driver leave in our county, you're most
likely going to get run over and dragged across the street.
If you spit on us, you're going to the hospital

(40:19):
and in jail.

(40:41):
to play. This has got to stop. You're watching what's
taken place out there. You're seeing police officers that are
being attacked, being spit on, being put in harm's way
just for doing their jobs. You're seeing ice agents that
are being targeted for doing their job. And you're seeing
obstructionists that are doing all of this standing in the

(41:06):
way of law and order.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
This is because of democrats. Let's be abundantly clear. If
democrats said no and stood for the rule of law,
the sovereignty of our nation, our states, and our communities,
this would end overnight. And I'm sorry, but this is

(41:29):
the fault of the left, all of it. When you
tolerate bad behavior and reward it, it grows, it spreads.
When you're a child is in your shopping cart and screams,

(41:56):
I want that joy I wanted, I waited, I waited
what and you give them that toy You have just
taught them. Oh sweet just pretend cry I'm gonna get

(42:17):
what I want because they don't want to be embarrassed. Nice.
You have just created and proven the theory of Pavlov's
dog in your own child. And this is what we
are doing with these protests. We are we are rewarding

(42:39):
it in California. Second big story in the press box,
Israel said to Iran's nuke program, No, they believe they've
largely taken it out, or they created a prempt to

(43:00):
strike to take down the ability of Iran to defend
against further strikes by taking out surface air missile installations,
radar sites and so forth, and then they're gonna, they're gonna,
They're gonna finish the job. But I told you Iran
was gonna or Iraq where Israel was going to do
it to Iran. So if the nations do not act,

(43:22):
Iran is irresponsible. When they talk about wiping Israel off
the face of the map, that's sorry, those are fighting words.
You can't allow that. You cannot allow them to have
nuclear capability with regard to weaponry. It can't allow it. Sorry.
Forty one minutes after the out some court cases here

(44:03):
that caught my eye because they Both revolve around Supreme
Court rulings. First one a case in Minnesota that made
its way to the United States Supreme Court. It is
the case of Ajat versus Ossio Area Schools. Young girl

(44:26):
named Ava suffers from lenox gastol syndrome, a rare kind
of epilepsy. She has intellectual limitations experiences seizures during the day.
Most seizures happen in the morning, but after that she's alert,
able to learn until about six. She needs assistance with walking, toileting,
et cetera. The family argued in a petition the school

(44:48):
district applied a stricter test to the circumstances than was required,
which made it more difficult for the family to move
ahead with a lawsuit because they were not granting her
the same accommodations that they would other students. The federal

(45:10):
appeals court rejected the student's claims under the Americans with
Disability Act and the Rehabilitation Act, which provides protections for
disabled individuals. The Supreme Court ruled nine nothing that the
appellate court was wrong nine nothing now hold. That second

(45:33):
case ruling came out yesterday, involving a family whose home
was wrongly raided by the FBI. In twenty seventeen, Trina Martin,
or fiance, and her seven year old son were terrified
after being awakened when an FBI swat team led by
an agent, Lawrence Gara, broke down the front door of

(45:56):
their home in Atlanta, detonated a flash bang grenade piled
inside the home with guns drawn. They thought it was
a home invasion. They hid in their closet. Agents burst
into the closet, dragging out the young man who's the
woman's fiance, throwing him on the floor, handcuffing him. Pointed

(46:16):
to ruffles, right, ruffles rifles at the woman. She tried
to get to her son. He's screaming in another room.
He's cowering under his blankets. They were looking for an
alleged gang member and then came to realize oops, they
went in the wrong home. The guy, the lead agent,

(46:39):
later apologized, but the family received no compensation or assistance
from the bureau for the damage to their home or
the trauma they endured. They sued the FBI. The lower
courts dismissed. The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals referred to
the mishap as an honest mistake due to a faulty
GPS device, and the court ruled that the agents were

(47:02):
protected by qualified immunity and could not be held accountable.
The Supreme Court ruled unanimously wrong. They can be sued.
The lawsuit of the family can go forward. Here's my
point in mentioning these two stories. What does it say

(47:22):
about the makeup of some of these appellate courts when
all nine justices, activist and originalists together say that ruling
is wrong. I may be making up something that is

(47:42):
just ridiculous, but I think nino rulings by the Supreme
Court on an appellate ruling ought to call for a
realignment of that appellate court. That we say, you people
are stupid, We're gonna put a new court together. For example,
if that appellate court ruled nine to three, then the

(48:07):
nine justices that ruled poorly you're out. The three you
can stay. And what an embarrassment that a divided Supreme
Court finds unanimously these rulings were so egregious they're just
flat wrong. There's an exposure part of the problem in

(48:30):
our judicial system. Forty seven minutes after the other, We're
gonna get you ready for what's the beef? Stand by
for the rest.

Speaker 3 (48:39):
We're your Morning Show, The Morning Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 2 (48:59):
All right, what's the beef coming up? Lines are open
eight five zero two zero five to BFLA who wants
to be first? This is my commentary that is running
over the weekend. Follow this story twenty twenty. A man

(49:24):
killed his wife, then he killed himself, left behind three children.
The parents of the woman, the mother of the child children,
filed for and eventually got custody of their grandchildren. But

(49:49):
as you may guess, there's another set of grandparents. The
parents of the man who killed the mother of the children,
the father of the children. Their son was the murderer,
and because of that, the custodial grandparents decided that they

(50:15):
did not want the parents of the man who killed
their daughter to ever see their grandchildren, and so they
filed suit because they did not want those grandparents to
ever see those kids again. Lower and appeals courts sided

(50:37):
with the paternal grandparents, saying, no, what their son did
was terrible, of course, but they didn't do it, and
those are their grandchildren, and so they have a right
to see their grandchildren and have normal visitation as a
grandparent would have. Unbelievably, the Colorado State Supreme Court has

(51:04):
redefined what a grandparent is and those grandparents have lost
the right to ever see their grandchildren again. Listen to this.
The Colorado Supreme Court said, nay, nay. When the other
set of grandparents adopted their grandchildren, those grandchildren became de

(51:30):
facto their children, not grandchildren, their children, and so there
is no standing for the other grandparents anymore because they're
not they they're their kids. Can you imagine the heartbreak

(51:53):
Your son has committed this terrible crime and then killed
himself and now for the rest of your life you
cannot ever see your grandchildren. Does this go to the
United States Supreme Court? We'll see. Does it have jurisdiction,
don't know, but this is absolute lunacy. And oh, by

(52:22):
the way, this is also hatred. I understand the maternal
grandparents dislike for their former son in law and what
he did, but is it really the fault of the grandparents.

(52:45):
It's what's to be Friday next eight five zero two
zero five to w FLA, what do you want to
complain about?

Speaker 15 (52:49):
Call now?

Speaker 2 (53:05):
Two lines are taken, two lines are open. Eight five
zero two zero five WFLA. It is what's the beef
here on the Morning Show with Preston Scott. We set
aside this time for you to feel better, to get
it out. If you're new to the show, this segment
has been going for twenty two of the twenty three

(53:27):
years of this show's history, and it's a time where
we let you just vent a little bit. Now. We
have two very simple rules. No profanity and don't make
it personal. That's it. Do you have a bad experience
at a business man, let them have it, just don't

(53:47):
name the business because everybody has a bad day, right
am I? So we have one line now open eight
five zero two zero five WFLA. Joel, thank you for
being very patient this morning. You are up what's the beef?

Speaker 16 (54:06):
Good morning, Preston, Morning, Preston my beef. Are anti Semites
who call their opponents Nazis? They do it all the
time and they don't seem to see the irony of it.

Speaker 2 (54:22):
What caught your attention? What? What? What's the example that
pushed you over the edge to get you?

Speaker 16 (54:29):
They use they used the left uses the Nazi metaphor
all the time, all the time for everything, and uh,
it's just so ironic that that these are also Hama
supporters and anti Semites.

Speaker 2 (54:46):
We do.

Speaker 16 (54:47):
They don't seem to see the irony of it.

Speaker 2 (54:48):
We talked about that yesterday, that it's so hilarious to
hear these people call anyone who supports Trump Trump a fascist,
a Nazi in particular, breakout out the swastika. And yet
there are a group of people that buy and large
want to.

Speaker 16 (55:04):
Kill Jews exactly exactly.

Speaker 2 (55:07):
Well, I hope you feel better at least getting it said. Yes,
thank you, thank you, Joel, appreciate it. See he calmly
delivered his beef. I can tell he'd been processing this
for a while. We're here for you. Eight five zero
two zero five to wfl A. We have two lines open.
Jump in there, folks, it's your shot, Lee, Thanks for
calling in. What's the beef?

Speaker 11 (55:29):
Morning, freshed, morning, my beef. My beef today is with
drivers on the road today. Well, this week I ran
into two vehicles passing funeral processions. Funeral processions. I saw
a guy actually pass the hearse slow down, respect the family,
That's what I got to say.

Speaker 2 (55:50):
Were they passing on a two lane road like taking
advantage of dotted, you know, center line or were they
on the interstate or paint the picture for me.

Speaker 11 (55:59):
Okay, Well, once was uh at uh. Let's say that
was Tennessee Street and Macomb okay, and people were cutting.
People were cutting into the funeral procession, you know, in
between the car in between the cars with a flacci
hazard lights on following the people were cutting in there.
And then then all ro on Capital Circle Southwest the World. Well,

(56:24):
all the lanes go down to one right there before
you come around the airport.

Speaker 2 (56:27):
Yep.

Speaker 11 (56:28):
They people, people in the right hand lanes didn't just
stop and allow the funeral procession to come in. No,
they zigzagged into the funeral procession. They zippered into the
funeral procesession, but then just come to a complete stop
and wait for him to go through.

Speaker 2 (56:43):
Bad form. But let me let me ask you this,
who teaches that stuff anymore?

Speaker 11 (56:51):
I don't know, Preston. I just thought it was common sense.

Speaker 2 (56:53):
Yeah, yeah, I hear you. Thank you, Lee, appreciate the
phone call. But seriously, who teaches the etiquette on stuff
like that anymore? Let's go to John, John, thanks for
calling in. It's what's the beef? Eight five zero two
zero five WSLA. We've got room for you. John, you're
up all right?

Speaker 13 (57:12):
How you doing press?

Speaker 2 (57:13):
I'm terrific.

Speaker 13 (57:14):
I am getting very tired of ordering something from Amazon
and the gig workers dropping the package off. Yeah, and
not ringing the doorbell. I mean, I'm in the house.
I could get my package and prevent it from getting
stolen if they would just ring the doorbell. And I

(57:37):
also had a DoorDash the other week, same thing. My
food's sitting out there getting cold when I left instructions
in the app to at least, you know, ring the
doorbell and hand me my food so it wouldn't sit
outside and get cold. And I have no way to
revert the tip that I gave the driver.

Speaker 2 (57:59):
Oh worst, that's the worst. Oh John, My heart breaks
for you, But I feel there are a bunch of
people that know your misery. John. Thanks very much. I
appreciate the phone call, and I hope you feel better
at least getting it off your chest. Yeah, I've got
I've I've got a similar story, but it's the opposite.

(58:20):
I'll explain when we come back. Eight five zero two
zero five w FLA eight five zero two zero five
ninety three fifty two we have three lines open. Three
come on people, let's rally. It's what's the be Friday?
Here in the Morning Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 3 (58:41):
This is the Morning Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 2 (58:47):
Fives are full. That will delay my share it because
it's all about you in this half hour. It's what's
the be Friday? Here on the Morning Show with Preston Scott.
Let's go to Mark. Hey up, how can we help
you feel better? What's the beef?

Speaker 14 (59:04):
Yes, Sarah, Preston, how you're doing this morning? So Wednesday,
I go to a certain place in town where you
have a lab work done. Normally, it's easy, peasy. I'm
in and out this time. I mean I went a
little bit later in the morning. It was around nine
o'clock and it was full, and it said on the

(59:25):
screen it said it's probably gonna be a fifty six
minute way. So I said, okay. Well, I sat and
waited and waited and waited. They never did call me.
They said, well, sir, they just started a new procedure
where they they you're able to make appointments. It's not
just walk in only, but so there's people that make
appointments and every time someone comes comes in as an

(59:50):
appointment already they bumped me back. So I sat there
for over two and a half hours waiting to be seen,
and I finally just said I've had a I'm walking out,
and I get a text around I was. It was
around almost one o'clock, say hey, you're next in line.

(01:00:11):
I finally went back this morning, and they said if
you get your first thing in the morning, you got
a better chance. I went this morning. I waited in
line for it took almost two hours. Still, but gosh,
a couple they just started this. It's a disaster. I mean,
they just started to where people make appointment. Say you

(01:00:33):
used to just be walking only, but they're trying to
make improvements, and it's it's not working out. They've gotten
to make some days, I mean especially, it's just not
there to leave people sitting there for hours just because
they don't have an appointment.

Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
I got you, Mark, Thanks very much. I appreciate it.
I guess, yeah, you just try to use the system.
It worked out well for the driver's license thing, getting
your plates and all making an appointment. That's been brilliant.
But I guess in that case they're not they're not
working it quite as well. Lisa, you're up. What's the beef?

Speaker 17 (01:01:08):
Good morning? How are you doing?

Speaker 2 (01:01:10):
Terrific? How are you?

Speaker 17 (01:01:12):
I am doing amazing. This isn't as much a beef
as it is maybe a suggestion for manly minute.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
Okay, what wait, I need you to turn it into
a beef somehow.

Speaker 8 (01:01:25):
Okay, my beef is thank you.

Speaker 9 (01:01:27):
That not that.

Speaker 17 (01:01:29):
Not all of men when they greet women are taking
off their hats.

Speaker 8 (01:01:37):
If you want to make a woman's heart just flutter
a little bit.

Speaker 17 (01:01:39):
When you're introduced to her, you take off your cap,
when you extend your hand, or you take off your
hat or whatever. That is just the ultimate sign of
good manners and gentlemanliness. And we're missing that a lot today.

Speaker 6 (01:01:54):
You know.

Speaker 17 (01:01:54):
We see it more out west when we're out west.
That's over here, not as much so out in the west.

Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
They removed their caps.

Speaker 17 (01:02:05):
Cats, caps, everything. If you're doing they're introduced to a woman,
it is good warning man, nice to meet you, and
that hat of that cap comes off.

Speaker 2 (01:02:14):
Yes, sir, I'm writing this down. Okay, I got you.
I will I will use that as my manly minute
this week. Thank you, You're very welcome. Thank you, Lisa, hope.
Hopefully we've helped you just a little bit. Let's go
to Matt. Hi, Matt, you're up. What's the beef?

Speaker 6 (01:02:34):
Very good morning? Yeah, my beef.

Speaker 18 (01:02:36):
Is speed limit safe? Just I ask, just speed up
to the speed limit. I mean, we're getting congested out here.
I would love to see patrolman stop people for doing
ten to fifteen miles per hour under the speed limit.
For a change that causes so much different rage on

(01:02:57):
the on the highways. It seems like, you know, if
you're turning in off of a state highway into your driveway,
it shouldn't take a whole quarter of a mile.

Speaker 14 (01:03:08):
In two and a half minutes.

Speaker 18 (01:03:10):
If there's a parade session behind you of ten to
fifteen people, please just pull off the side of the road.
We don't need to have all these parades. The county
and the state loved to make great yellow lines. I
swear they must have some type of of money involved
in the yellow paint, because there's very few dotted lines anymore,

(01:03:35):
no places to pass. It seems like we love our canopy,
so just.

Speaker 2 (01:03:38):
If we could go the speed limit.

Speaker 18 (01:03:40):
Thank you so much for letting me off.

Speaker 2 (01:03:43):
I appreciate it. Man, Thank you I think the legislature
tried to put a minimum speed thing and really hit
people with that, but I don't think it passed. I
don't think I need to check with sal Newso on
that one. But yeah, the idea of check your rear
view mirror now and then and see how many cars

(01:04:03):
you're holding up, and maybe it's because you're not going
to speed limit. Maybe it's because you're going like forty
in a seventy Just say seventeen minutes past the hour. Dave,
you are next. What about you. We've got room for you.

Speaker 15 (01:04:17):
More calls.

Speaker 2 (01:04:18):
Next call down. It's eight five zero two zero five
to b FLA. All right, we're in the home stretch.

(01:04:40):
Final segment. Calls are standing by, lines are busy. Dave,
you've been very patient. What is the beef.

Speaker 13 (01:04:48):
My beef is with a local place that most of
us get blood work done at. My wife had an appointment.

Speaker 14 (01:04:56):
To get her blood worked done about a month ago.

Speaker 2 (01:04:58):
Oh oh, and.

Speaker 18 (01:05:00):
Even with an appointment, her weight was just under an hour.

Speaker 14 (01:05:06):
And my wife has a bad back, she can't stand.

Speaker 16 (01:05:09):
I'm so glad I went with her because after a few.

Speaker 14 (01:05:12):
Minutes of standing there's the place was hacked.

Speaker 18 (01:05:15):
There's not enough chairs.

Speaker 14 (01:05:16):
She had to go outside and sit on the steps.

Speaker 6 (01:05:19):
While I stood inside waiting to.

Speaker 14 (01:05:21):
Hear her name. So fifty minutes even with an appointment.

Speaker 2 (01:05:25):
Oh my, have a nice day, Thank you, Dave. I hope,
I hope someone's listening that's involved in that particular business.
Make improvements eight five zero two zero five to b FLA.
We had a collar drop, so we can fit another
call in here maybe two. Gerald, you are up. What's
the beef?

Speaker 9 (01:05:46):
H good morning? You get too quick. I think we
need to put more effort into recycling because it is
a national security leaning because a lot of that stuff
can be reused for important stuff. I don't want to
freak anybody out, but anyhow, and the other thing is
is let's not get upset about what the other side
has to say. Please, don't get all worked up, don't

(01:06:08):
you know everybody. Of course you can do is turn
around and say, of course they said that, and of
course they're carry on the way they are. We're not
going to fix them. We got to take care of
ourselves and just drive by them like a light, like
a lamp post. You know, they just they're not you know,
I know you said it. Before. People are not going

(01:06:29):
to fix them. They're not going to fix it, so
you just have to ignore it and keep on going
and put the effort into what we as conservatives and
pro Americans and pro Trump people. That's it. I'm done.

Speaker 2 (01:06:43):
Thank you Gerald. Keep that radio turned down, my brother,
because it was slapping back at us a little bit,
But thanks for calling in. As always, let's go to Joe. Joe,
you are up. What's the beef?

Speaker 10 (01:06:54):
Of course, it's traffic in the morning, Trafficway three tour
driving brisk on Capital Circle going the same speed. Nobody
can move over, nobody can let other people go back.

(01:07:15):
But you know what my real beat is.

Speaker 2 (01:07:17):
Tell me.

Speaker 10 (01:07:19):
My real beast is whatever I drive and do something
insitutid to.

Speaker 2 (01:07:25):
Tell me this. Are the three cars that are lined
up together driving in Unison. Are they driving the speed
limit at least.

Speaker 10 (01:07:35):
Almost?

Speaker 2 (01:07:37):
That's the real conundrum there. What if they're all driving
the speed limit lockstep with each other. Yep, thank good, Joe,
appreciate it. Good job, good job, Ursula. You are up.
What's the beef?

Speaker 19 (01:07:52):
My beef is with the gas station that it's looking
like it's gonna happen in the canopy community see that
gas station never should have happened. But you know, they apologized.
We didn't see the little class. The deal was kind
of like nobody was notified about it, so the residents
would know about it. And now that they bought it

(01:08:14):
and they're trying to buy it back and it's not working,
they don't want to do much about it. Some of
the houses are not going to be able to be
insured anymore because it's so close, and insurances may drop
their insurance. But they say, well, if we don't use
we don't.

Speaker 11 (01:08:31):
Know what else to do.

Speaker 19 (01:08:32):
So sorry, sorry, We're really sorry. You know, we don't
really want to hurt I mean, we don't really want
to be negligent here and use, for example, eminent domain,
which I guess there's a lot of things to get
you know about it, but they were negligent to approve it,
but they don't want to be negligent to fix it.
And I know many men remain may not be the

(01:08:54):
best thing, but I'm sure they can do something.

Speaker 2 (01:08:58):
I think they I'll be honest, I don't know that
they can. I'll tell you what would be smart, though,
is if circle case step back and realize that a
lot of people are really unhappy. Let's put a different
kind of store there. Let's put an actual convenience store
that has eggs and milk and bread and and and
not just lottery tickets and SIGs. You know, I'm just saying,

(01:09:19):
not just beer, booze, lottery tickets cigarettes. You know, if
they if they improved the store, they might actually win
a few people over. But I don't know if that's
gonna happen. Randy, I'm sorry, I'm not gonna be able
to get to you. Twenty seven past the hour. Time
for news. It's the Morning Show with Preston Scott. Time

(01:10:00):
for the best and worst of the week. This is
where Jose and I offer just what we think is
the best, and it could be very personal, it could
be very broad in nature. But Jose, you're up all right.

Speaker 20 (01:10:19):
So the best of the week for me is the
season five of The Chosen is coming back. Okay, Sunday,
Episode one and two is airing on Sunday, and I
am you're doing a story on.

Speaker 2 (01:10:30):
Erin No, it's it's air airing. I got you about that, Okay,
so you're pretty pumped up.

Speaker 20 (01:10:41):
Oh yeah, yeah, I'm I'm gonna be just like you
got a whole special little routine going on.

Speaker 2 (01:10:47):
So yeah, they stoked about that. The worst is broad
a little general.

Speaker 20 (01:10:52):
Yeah, but the rioturs and then the future rioturs.

Speaker 2 (01:10:56):
Hopefully there's not. But you know, just just don't do it.
It's uh bad.

Speaker 21 (01:11:00):
You're testing good rioting bad. That's simple, fair enough, my
best of the week. I'm gonna start with my best
of the week. It just ties on too that it's
Brivard County Sheriff Wayne Ivy.

Speaker 5 (01:11:13):
So I'm gonna I'm gonna break it down for you,
all right, and if somebody wants to know what I
mean by turn violent, all right to all protesters. If
you resist loft orders, you're going to jail. Yeah, let
me be very clear about that.

Speaker 2 (01:11:26):
Jail.

Speaker 5 (01:11:27):
If you block an intersection or a roadway in Brevard County,
you are going to do jail. If you flee arrest,
go to jail tired, because we are going to run
you down and put you in jail. If you try
to mob rule a car in Brevard County, gathering around it,
refusing to let the driver leave in our county, you're
most likely going to get run over and dragged across

(01:11:50):
the street.

Speaker 2 (01:11:50):
There you go, If you spin on us, you're going
to the hospital, then in jail, jail.

Speaker 5 (01:11:56):
If you hit one of us, you're going to the
hospital and jail and most likely get bitten by one
of our big, beautiful dogs that we have here.

Speaker 2 (01:12:04):
It's worse.

Speaker 5 (01:12:05):
If throw a brick, a fire bomb, or point a
gun at one of our deputies, we will be notifying
your family where to collect your remains at uh oh,
because we will kill you graveyard dead. We're not going
to play.

Speaker 2 (01:12:17):
There you go, there you go. Brevard County Sheriff Wayne
Ivy with the best of the week, and it's not
even close. It's not even close. Thank you, Sheriff, appreciate it.
My worst of the week is my newest grandchild. My

(01:12:43):
granddaughter is having to spend a second week in the
nick you at the hospital where she was born. And
we thought she was getting to level two. She did
for about an hour and then had to go back
to level three and that just stinks. I'm grateful for

(01:13:07):
all of the personnel and everybody that's able to help,
but she had a tough time with her birth came early,
not not like ridiculously early, but early enough, and she's
just had had a tough go of it, and so

(01:13:31):
that that is as as far and away as Wayne
Ivy was the best of the week. Not being able
to put my hands on my sweet little granddaughter has
been my worst of the week. And it's not even close.
So here you go. If you want to lift up
the little one in prayers, that would be that would

(01:13:53):
be terrific. And and her mama and daddy, and just
keep them going, keep them going, keep strengthening her. Forty
minutes past. Now we're gonna come back with good news.
Uh huh yeah on The Morning Show with Preston Scott.

(01:14:13):
The Morning Show with Preston Scott. Oh yeah, time for
a little good news groove here, yeah, let it roll,

(01:14:37):
Let it roll, Come on, I'm gonna try and make
this work.

Speaker 15 (01:14:41):
Here we go.

Speaker 2 (01:14:42):
The time to build in America is now. Yeah, here's
the good news. You ready. Micron, the only manufacturer of
advanced memory chips based in the United States, is going
to end best two hundred billion dollars into semiconductor manufacturing

(01:15:07):
and development right here. Two hundred billion dollars right here.
Come on, come on, you think that would have been
do you think this development would have been happening with
somebody else in charge.

Speaker 19 (01:15:24):
Ain't no way.

Speaker 2 (01:15:28):
But that's not the only good news in the wild
or in our homes. We love them critters, large and small.

Speaker 3 (01:15:37):
Time for another edition of animal Stories on the Morning
Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 2 (01:15:42):
Heck, yeah, it's good news that we have animal stories.
I know it's a reach, but I wanted to put
the animal stories in the show. I said, nosey before
we began the day. It's the best way I could
do it to wedget in there. Why is it that
people are dumb?

Speaker 5 (01:16:04):
And I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:16:07):
We're talking Yellowstone. The upper guys are basin and old. Faithful.
People are warned, don't go near the buffalo. They will
hurt you. The unidentified thirty year old New Jersey man

(01:16:30):
ignored the warning and approached just a little too close
to get a little selfie a photo. It's like I'm
gonna capture the fact that I'm a flaming idiot on
my camera for everyone to see for all of it.

(01:16:52):
I wonder if they got the moment the bison gored him.
I wonder if he took that picture. He's gonna be fine.
That's I'm making this an animal story. He's gonna be fine,
but my gosh, come on, really, it's like it don't

(01:17:13):
never mind? Then this one from Florida, Punta Garda? Where's
Poota Gorda? Do you have any idea where Punta Gorda is?

Speaker 8 (01:17:22):
Uh?

Speaker 21 (01:17:22):
I think it's south.

Speaker 2 (01:17:24):
It's south Florida. I believe I could be wrong on that. Well.
Florida Fish and Wildlife got some camera footage of a
bear soaking in a residence hot tub, just chilling. Then
got out of the hot tub, pulled the cushions off

(01:17:48):
an outdoor couch, and laid down and slept for six hours.
Here's I'm not done. So they show up. The bear
jumps up a tree and they're like, okay, we have

(01:18:09):
to capture and relocate this bear. He hasn't done anything bad.
So guess what they did to lure the bear to
their trap. They used a bag of donuts. It worked.
The bear came down the tree, went straight for the donuts,

(01:18:31):
and they snagged the bear and removed them and brought
him to a state park. All I could think about
when I read this story is, man, I'm glad I
wasn't around that that bag of donuts, because that could
have been a fight between me and that bear and
I could have been relocated to a state park. Animal

(01:18:57):
stories and exclusive presentation of The Morning Show with President
Scott back Monday. We'll talk about the abortion double standard.

(01:19:19):
Fascinating story and it raises so many issues. It's gonna
push you a little bit. It's gonna nudge you on
a lot of levels. Also cover whatever's going on on
the weekend. Of course, it's the US Open golf tournament
is underway round two, before it's all over. I'm not

(01:19:40):
sure how many players are gonna be under PARBA. We'll
see what's happening. FSU's Brooks Kepta making a nice run
right now, So there you go. Time for dad joke.
This comes courtesy of Ryan. He sent me a list
of dad jokes. What's blue and not very very heavy

(01:20:03):
light blue. You're welcome, all right. Time for some headlines
courtesy of your My, our trusted source for satire ladies
and gentlemen. These are headlines courtesy of the bebelin b

(01:20:25):
husband buys back his golf clubs at his wife's garage
sale for the third time this year. Illegals help film
Republican presidential campaign commercial. Trump responds to mostly peaceful protests

(01:20:46):
with mostly peaceful military. Mexican rioter adds lime wedge to
molotov cocktail support for police skyrockets after they start shooting journalists.
Baby outraged as person holding him is not standing up.

(01:21:09):
Zachiez insists he was actually five foot seven, which is
close to the median height for males. Marine tanks stuck
in traffic on the four h five in greatest Gymnastics

(01:21:30):
La riot as sad as he can't find any houses
to burn down since they all burned down in the wildfires.
Job's suffering becomes too great to bear as he realizes
he's going to bed and the sheets are in the wash,
and CNN reports peace full night in La as a

Speaker 3 (01:21:55):
Brought to you by Barono Heating in Air. It's the
morning show one E ONLA.

Speaker 2 (01:22:04):
Started the radio program with Colossians three, verses sixteen and seventeen.
That's where we began the radio program. Our big stories
in the press box. Obviously, what's going on in the
Middle East. Israel said enough.

Speaker 15 (01:22:22):
Not getting to it.

Speaker 2 (01:22:23):
Can't let them have nuclear weapons, wouldn't be prudent, and
they launched an attack preemptive attack on Iran, targeting nuclear
site where nuclear development of weaponry is going on, nuclear
weapon redevelopment, and they took out some surfaced air missile

(01:22:44):
sites as well as some radar sites. And that's how
it goes. When you threaten another nation with annihilation, that
nation tends to say, ah, I don't think so. And
I've told you for the last few years. If no
one else stops Iran, Israel will do it if they

(01:23:07):
have to buy themselves by itself. Riots scheduled for the weekend.
Don't expect too much to go wrong here in Florida,
but we'll have to wait and see. We'll see how

(01:23:27):
various counties address any protests. I would be shocked if
there's not something organized for Tallahassee's state capital. But we'll see.
Covered some things with the Supreme Court, good news on
investing in America, and much much more, including what would

(01:23:48):
you do with Los Angeles? A lot of you sat
in a chair of the President. Have a great weekend, friends.
