Speaker 1 (00:04):
With the morning show man and Jose can you see
I am merely Preston Scott and welcome to the radio
program the adventure known as Common Sense Amplified, Show number
fifty four oh four. And it's Monday, June thirtieth. This
is it. We are officially halfway through the year, at

(00:28):
the end of this day and into the month of July.
And when we get to July, I may or may
not point out that we didn't mention one thing. There's
one particular thing I did not say at all in

(00:49):
the month of June. You can maybe guess what that is.
Right now, I made a promise to myself, and I
believe I I think I did good for me. Let's
start with some scripture Ephesians two ten. For we are

(01:15):
His workmanship. I want you to just hold to that
for a second. Here created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Let's first talk about his workmanship. Let's think about how

(01:38):
that word is used in express today. I think of
someone who makes furniture, and when I think of workmanship,
I think of somebody that constructs something. And let's just

(01:58):
say it's it's a chair. What does it look like,
how does it function? Is it strong sturdy? Does it
represent the craftsman or is it Yeah? I don't know

(02:26):
about that. It's like I have a couple of tables,
little nightstands that I built by our bed. I desperately
want to remake them. My wife's like no, like, oh,

(02:46):
they're just so No. I just want to know because
I can do better. I've advanced my skills a little bit. No,
Now that's sentimental reasons. But the fact of the matter
is how we live our life. It's it's an evidence

(03:13):
of God's workmanship in our life. So what are we
What are we telling the world, our children, our family,
our co workers about God and his workmanship in us
by being jerks? What are we saying? Just something to

(03:35):
think about. Ten past the hour back with more of
the Morning Show. Twelve past the Hour, Monday. Hope you

(04:04):
had a nice weekend. Kind of a weird weather weekend.
It was just weird, kind of got some rain, kind
of didn't get some rain. It rained hard in some places,
not others. Went to the train show. Brought my grandson
to the train show. That was so much fun. The
model train, the Big Bend, Model Railroad Association Train show

(04:31):
thing and sale. I just I marvel at that stuff.
Got into a couple of conversations with somebody that designed
one of the layouts. Just he had a magnetic track
hold on. He had the trains rolling, but then he
had this little separate area where cars were moving down

(04:55):
a road, not on the track, they were just moving
on the road and it's a magnetic little chain that
goes underneath that you can't see. And then the cars
have these little tiny little point in the middle of
them that the magnet pulls along and around, and so

(05:16):
it just added just a level of realty, realism that
was just incredible. That there there was the drive in
movie theater. They were showing a Western that was that
was very cool, a lot of fun. So that that
was a good time. But had had my grandson over
for a sleepover, and so we did the pool thing

(05:39):
and hung out. He decided he wanted to relax in
the hot tub and played some video games and you know,
just had a good time. It's a lot of fun.
June thirtieth, eighteen fifty nine, Frenchman Emil Blondin Emil becomes
the first daredevil to cross Nagara on a tightrope. Eighteen

(06:02):
fifty eight. Dude walks across Niagara Falls on a tightrope.
You ever seen that? If you haven't seen Niagara Falls
in person, it is awesome. It's just I mean, you

(06:24):
just stand there and stare at it. I'm quite certain
a mouth My mouth just swung open. I'm quite certain
now it's not as that. Never mind, I've eighteen sixty four,
President Lincoln signs the Yosemite Valley Grand Act. In nineteen fifty,
President Truman orders US ground troops into Korea. Nineteen fifty two.

(06:49):
Soap opera Guiding Light, longest running drama and television history
moves from radio to TV. My Stories nineteen fifty three.
The first Chevrolet Corvette rolls off the assembly line in Flint, Michigan,
nineteen fifty three. Today is National TD Day Outfit of

(07:09):
the Day. Jose knew all about it. He's rolling today.
He is rolling in sartorial splendor. Social Media Day and
National Media Watch Day. Imagine spending your day watching for
a media and then not seeing one on National Media

(07:32):
Watch Day? Doesn't that make it a waste of time?
Isn't that kind of a silly day? But that's all
we got. That's it for the day. So June thirtieth
is a good day to do something. Establish a national
day of because all you've got is Outfit of the
Day day, Social Media Day and which is every day

(07:55):
and National Media Watch Day? Are you kidding? Sixteen past
the hour?

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Got it?

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Did you know? And a ooh gross story next? Or
the WNBA can just bow to Caitlin Clark. She has

(08:26):
saved the league from irrelevance. And it's still somewhat irrelevant
the abuse that young girl has taken from the league
from other players, and they should be. I mean, you
compete hard against her, no doubt about that. But what
they're doing cheap shotting her, injuring her, they're just cutting

(08:50):
their own their own meal ticket. And it's it's comical.
The envy Yalen Clark made the WNBA money until Caitlin Clark.
That league is losing money. It was propped up by
political correctness only. Oh and the coffers of the NBA, which, oh,

(09:16):
by the way, is struggling with irrelevance itself. But that's
not what I wanted to talk about, did you know.
I mean, cats and dogs have great senses. Of hearing.
But did you know that a dolphin can hear sounds
fifteen miles away. Now, obviously some of that's based on

(09:38):
the fact that it's in the water and sound travels
through the water very differently, but just think about that,
I live more than fifteen miles away from my house.
My house is roughly fifteen miles away from where I'm
working right now. That would mean that a dolphin could

(10:04):
hear a sound that far. I don't know when I
put that in real miles context, like from where I'm
sitting right now to my home, it's around fifteen miles
or so. I'm like, really, that's incredible, it really is.

(10:30):
All right now, I said I was going to talk
about something that was just gross. Ticks. Ticks are nasty,
and because there have been some somewhat mild winters, no,
not global warming, the earth just being the earth anyway,

(10:53):
Ticks are spreading and now there are roughly five different
kinds of ticks that are alarming in the disease that
they can spread. We know about lime disease. I think

(11:16):
it's deer ticks that spread that, but there are there
are others. But here's what caught my eye on this
story at the Ohio State University Buckeye Tick Test Lab.

(11:37):
Oh gross, what are you majoring in ticks? Ticks? Yeah,
I'm going to the tick lab. Yeah yeah, that's how
I expect someone working in that field to talk. But

(12:02):
the most useful thing in this article is learning how
ticks ambush us. Ticks pick a place to wait by
identifying well used paths, and then they rest on the

(12:24):
tips of grasses and shrubs and do something called questing.
They can't fly or jump, so they wait questing for
a host to come on by, and then they they

(12:46):
crawl on up and find a soft spot and latch
on and burrow in. Yah ah, I admit I have
a perverse burning a tick. I do. Used to get
ticks off of my dog and I put them on

(13:08):
the ground and put them in a tissue. I grabbed
them with tweezers so the head didn't get left behind,
because that's bad news. So you put that thing in
that tissue and then I just go, here we go.

(13:28):
You hear that. That's a tick meeting its demise. That's
the sound. Anyway, be vigilant tick season. Big time people
are outside hot, humid, they go dormant in the cold weather.
I did not know that. I would hope they would

(13:49):
just die. But ticks are a result of the fall.
They are a reminder of sin, sin in the camp.
There you go, twenty seven past the hour. Let's uh,
let's talk about the big stories next. Happy Monday to you,

(14:19):
Wanting Show with Preston Scott and Preston he Is Jose.
Great to share time with you. As always, we've got
some consumer help coming your way today on the program.
Also extending your lowering here we go, lowering your biological age,

(14:40):
your the way your body feels by ten years. Someone
zeroed in on something that worked for them that could
be measured, and we're going to share that as well
today on the show. As tempting as it would be
to talk about the one big beautiful bill, here's why

(15:02):
we're not there. The same political wrangling is going on
that has been going on. You've got a couple of
Republican senators that are not voting for it, and you've
got Democrats doing whatever they can do to try to

(15:22):
be a pain in the butt. And that's I mean, look,
Republicans do the same thing. This is a hugely imperfect bill.
It is not a big, beautiful bill. It's a big bill.
It isn't beautiful, it just isn't. It has to pass though,
because the tax cuts are in it. Sadly, it's bundled

(15:46):
with a bunch of other nonsense. There are some people
that will be booted off Medicaid because there are work requirements,
there are there are things in there. We're we are
in the process of overhauling our welfare system and we

(16:07):
need to. There are corrections in this bill that need
to happen, but there are a lot of things that
aren't right with it. I'm not talking about that. I'm
just not because there's more that has to happen, and
you know, the President wants it on his desk by
July fourth. Whatever, We'll see, we've got time. What I
want to talk about is the Supreme Court unleashed a

(16:28):
bunch of rulings. I think more are coming today. It's
the final day of the month, and then they they're
off till October. I think it is unless there are
emergency proceedings that kind of thing, the big ones limiting
nationwide injunctions, those district rulings thing of the past. It's

(16:53):
not going to happen now. They did not settle the
issue of birthright citizenship. They simply said a district judge
can't rule on behalf of the nation. Thank you. It's
about time. Birthright citizenship, though, is not settled now. I

(17:13):
don't know what the confusion here is. No more should
someone who enters this country illegally give birth to a
child have that child become a citizen of the United
States than someone who enters this country legally, as in
an ambassador from another nation. They're not suddenly a citizen

(17:33):
of the United States because their child's born here. That
child is still a citizen of where those ambassadors came from,
whatever nation. That's the way this ought to be handled.
Opt outs for LGBTQ themed lessons approved. Supreme Court said, absolutely,

(17:54):
parents should have the right to opt out. I've got
more on that in a moment. Adult website age verification. Yes,
the Texas law was upheld six to three. A couple
squirrely ones upholding Obamacare coverage requirements. It's a little more complex,
but that was six to three. That was a mixture

(18:18):
of ideological persuasions that voted in on that, and the
High Court upheld that the federal program offering phone and
internet access to rural and low income Americans can continue.
Here's the problem. You and I shouldn't be subsidizing that.

(18:43):
They've held. The Court held that because it would affect millions,
they can't change it now. And that's a classic case
of doing something until the court rules, and in this case,
it became common practice, and so the Court's not going
to stop it. But you and I get charged on
our internet bill, our phone bill for parts of the

(19:04):
country to have service that otherwise wouldn't. There you go
forty minutes past the hour. We'll go in a little
more depth next time on some of these rules.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
Thanks for listening. It's the Morning Show with Preston Scott.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
United States Supreme Court rules parents in Montgomery County, Maryland
can opt out their elementary age kids from LGBTQ well,
of course, but the bigger question is why are they
being offered this stuff now? I get a note an

(19:48):
email immediately after the ruling drops from advocates for trans equality.
Listen to the part of this strongly condemns the US
Supreme Court's decision in Mahmoud versus Taylor, which departs from
decades of the Court's precedent and gives the plaintive parents

(20:11):
of Montgomery County, Maryland maintaining anti lgbtqi plus beliefs a
right to insulate their children from lgbtqi plus inclusive story
books or instruction. Today's decision isn't about school books. It's
about whose stories get silence, said Gabriel Arkles, co interim

(20:32):
director of A four to advocates for trans equality. It
signals that certain religious beliefs now hold power over basic
truths and identities. Sweet God, I had to reply. I

(20:53):
absolutely had to reply to these people, and so I did,
And I said, what a wonderful ruling. Why are groups
like yours so obsessed with the sexuality of school kids?
Grooming a child to accept a social contagion should be

(21:15):
a crime. Now will I be removed from their milling list.
It's a fifty to fifty proposition. I'm not asking to because,
quite honestly, this kind of nonsense just reinforces the twisted

(21:38):
sickness of this mind set that exists. This is not
the privacy of what one does behind closed doors of
a bedroom. Oh no, no, no, no no, we have
we have left that at the at the dock. No,

(21:59):
what's out there now is Listen, the right to insulate
your children from LGBTQ inclusive storybooks or instruction is wrong.
You should not have any right to insulate your children.
Do you realize how predatory that is? This press release

(22:24):
really does us a favor because it reveals the sickness
in very clear terms. They're not your children, their prey,

(22:46):
their mush of brains that we can infect with our propaganda.
We have the opportunity, except for these twisted parents in
Maryland and other parts of the country that somehow think
God has the final say on things like that. Oh no,

(23:07):
he does not, He she does not, right whatever. The
decision isn't just about school books. It's about whose stories
get silenced. Yeah, m yours do. And the fact that

(23:28):
they even exist in schools is disgusting. It is an
effort to normalize abnormal and I think it's just this story.
I wanted to highlight that press release that I received
in my email box because it reveals so much about

(23:51):
what goes on in public schools today. Not all, but
it's there. If you don't think in whatever school district
your kids go to, there's not some of this there,
you're just mistaken. You are living blindly. You are you
are deaf to the noise that's there. It's there, it

(24:14):
is there, and you have to be mindful that it's there.
And you have to be speaking to your children in
an age appropriate manner about what is normal and what
is not. And that's why this all dovetails together to
me with the athletic component, it's why you don't allow

(24:35):
men in girls' locker rooms, boys in girls' locker rooms,
girls and boys locker rooms. It's it's you don't bring
this together and allow this to somehow seem like, well,
that's normal. That's what we did in school. No no, no, no, no,
no no no. So parents be aware, not paranoid. Aware,

(25:00):
ask questions as we're getting closed. You know, school starts
in like a month and a week August eleventh. I
think at least here and through much of Florida, if
not all of it. This is this is so important
for parents, you to be on your game. They're not

(25:22):
going to just fold up the tent. Forty seven past
the Other Doctor Joe, Next hour, Joe Camps. We've got

(25:43):
a Florida man segment next hour. More animal stories on
today's show. Also, I'm going to try to help you
lower your your body's clock by ten years. Just one
man's story and what he's been able, what he's been
able to actually measure based on lifestyle changes. I just

(26:09):
thought it was very interesting. Got some consumer help coming
up in just a few minutes. Very sophisticated scamming going
on online. And here's what's interesting though. It targets PayPal users.
People that don't have PayPal accounts are falling for it.

(26:32):
It is unlike anything that's been seen, well, it hasn't
been seen often. And so well, we've got that all
the intel things you should know, things you should do,
that's coming up as well. But this kind of ties
to the last segment, the sickness that's going on that.

(27:02):
I mean, if you think of the books that are
being put in some public school libraries, you're paying for that.
It's your tax dollars that are buying those books. University
of Wisconsin, the Badgers, all right, they have approved in

(27:23):
their fiscal year twenty twenty six budget an expenditure of
one hundred and thirty five thousand, seven hundred and six
dollars and fifty one cents for the Sex Out Loud Club.
It provides sexual programming, including a ninety minute ethical porn

(27:47):
session for students. Ethical porn. Wouldn't that be just right
up there with jumbo shrimp is the ultimate oxymoron. The
budget allocates ninety thousand dollars for salaries, forty one thousand

(28:10):
dollars for supplies and services, and within the service budget
is fourteen thousand dollars reserved for programming. The Sex Out
Loud club is hosted has hosted a sex after Dark program.
In an Instagram post, they advertised the event, which would
include a drag performance bingo as well as a sex

(28:31):
toy giveaway items donated by Planned Parenthood. So this is
a double whammy taxpayers in Wisconsin and probably federal through
various funding mechanisms that go to public universities, we're paying
for that, and then we're paying Planned Parenthood. They're getting

(28:52):
federal tax dollars. Doze, Baby, doze it all away. We
come back. We've got We've got a little scam help
for you. If you've ever had an email, you might

(29:13):
want to listen. Second hour of the Morning Show with
Preston Scott. I'm Preston. Hi. Thee Jose looking like an
astronaut this morning, an astronaut, a ghostbuster all wrapped into one,

(29:35):
got the light blues going one piece outfit US flag
and blazoning the left lapel. I mean, just yeah, looks
like he's going off into space. I am looking at
the story on Fox News that the two senators that

(29:57):
are Republicans had voted against the one Big Beautiful Bill
ran Paul Kentucky. I have no issue with his with
his position on this, I really don't, but it has
to pass. He has made his point, he's on the record.
Tom Tillis, he's another story altogether, because Tom Tillis is

(30:18):
a train wreck of a US Senator and he's announced
that he's he said, bipartisanship is no longer, didn't vote no.
Bipartisanship is just fine when it's for something worthwhile. But
to be bipartisan and stand on the wrong things is
just stupid. And so I don't care about Tom Tillis's

(30:40):
vote on this bill. I look at the rest of
his time in Congress and he's been a train wreck.
But anyway, PayPal, this is a story from Kurt Knutson,
who specializes in cyber connectivity, cyber crimes, and so forth.

(31:00):
It is a new PayPal phishing scam. And unlike typical
scams that have typos and fake domains and so forth,
listen to this, they're using PayPal's own system, so that
what gets sent to your email box looks and acts
one hundred percent real like on on other sites, on

(31:24):
other phishing attempts. pH phishing, you hover your mouse over
a URL and it gives you this ridiculous site. It
doesn't take you back to the origin of the company
that's being portrayed. Microsoft is famously you know, spelled with
a K instead of a C. I mean, there's all

(31:45):
kinds of little stupid things that happen, and you'll get
a message in this scam you added a new address.
This is just a quick confirmation that you added in
your PayPal account, and it's coming from PayPal. It's jetted
from PayPal. The problem is it's been manipulated just enough,

(32:05):
and if you don't have a PayPal account, it it
attacks you as well because it says ad address or
money request tools, and so even if you don't have

(32:26):
a PayPal account, you simply enter an email here and
then they trigger real emails from the PayPal domain. So
everything looks good on the front on the front end,
and because these emails are coming directly from PayPal, your
filters aren't working. It's getting through all your security features.

(32:53):
Some versions of this scam have no phishing links at all,
just a phone number, which is a scammer's phone number.
They use something called panic bait a new address added
to so if you've got a PayPal account, you get

(33:14):
to notice a new address has been added to your Wait,
you're going, wait what or the big expenditure just confirming
you spent nine hundred and seventy four dollars on blah
blah blah blah, and you're whoa, whoa, whoa, And then
you panic click or you panic phone And after the

(33:35):
initial email, scammers can contact you and they claim to
be PayPal support. They want you to just okay, before
we continue, we need you to secure your account, which
leads you to a fake login page that looks really
new and really professional and really appropriate and really real,

(34:02):
and all it's doing is stealing your credentials. One of
the more sophisticated twists in this whole thing is they
remove links altogether. They use the phone number ask you
to call. Once you do, you're connected with a fake
PayPal representative. They need to verify your identity and your account.

(34:26):
You then get instructed to download what appears to be
a PayPal branded support tool. The problem is it's going
to take over your computer or your phone. So how
do you avoid all this? We're gonna give you some
tips next ten past the hour. Trying to keep your

(34:47):
money in your account not somebody else's all right, So
let's recap here before we move ahead. These are emails
coming from PayPal, but they're not. They're being produced outside.
They're being triggered outside of PayPal, but it's coming from PayPal.

(35:10):
It's just being triggered outside of PayPal. Now, how much
PayPal's trying to deal with this, I can't answer that question.
I gotta believe this is really bad for them, and
so they're working hard. But I don't know that. You
can't distinguish these emails from legit PayPal emails, and that's

(35:32):
going to be key to dealing with this here in
a second, and so people are trusting the communications without
suspicion because the filters didn't block it. It's legit. There's
no fake links on there. You just got a phone
number and you call right. Scammers use panic bait. They

(35:56):
try to get you to respond to something quickly, to
react to something, and then they just they get in
there and they get you to give up information. Now,
obviously older senior adults are very prone to these types
of scams. Something to talk to Grandma and Grandpa about,

(36:16):
and those of you grandma and Grandpa's that are listening.
I got rid of my PayPal account years ago. I
got a beef with I had a beef with PayPal
over their social their position on social issues. So I
just I just deleted. I just now, so I don't
I don't even use it. So anything that comes to
me that has PayPal on it, I delete it. It

(36:37):
just it's not going to impact me at all. So
here's how you protect yourself from this particular scam, even
if they look real, even if you use a strong
antivirus software, Do not click links inside these emails. Just
don't do it. Enable to factor authentication, now that one

(37:08):
is a mixed bag. There's certain things that I use
two factor authentication for. There's certain things I do not.
I'm well aware of what's involved in all of these.
There are just certain things that are in a closed
system that I don't worry about it. There are other
things that I absolutely use a two part authentication process

(37:32):
that's smart.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
To do.

Speaker 1 (37:36):
This one. I'm coin tossing. I'm fifty to fifty on
password managers. Password managers are really useful if you're good
at changing up your passwords, not having a universal password.
See I don't have a universal password to anything, but

(37:59):
there are some that do because of memory. They don't
want to have to remember four thousand. Now, if you
have a trusted password manager, it can be useful. You're
putting in different passwords in different places, so even if
someone gets one password, you're not compromised your entire everything

(38:20):
that you do. Here's the big one to me win
in doubt. Call the company directly. Don't use the number
in the email. Go online, like for example, PayPal, call
their customer service number, reach out to them through a

(38:40):
online form or what have you. Do not reply to
the email directly. It's kind of like if somebody's asking
you questions about your Visa account, or your MasterCard account
or your American Express account, go to those, Go to
your bank, your provider of your credit card. Don't reply
to the email. Hey, I saw something about a charge.

(39:01):
Can you tell me about this? Oh, there's no, there's
no fictitious charge. You're good, thank you. You know you're
there's a phishing attempt on your on your account. But
if you go through the the email for well, the
phone numbers right there, I'm just gonna call the Oh
no no, no, no, no no no, look it up

(39:22):
and called directly. That is the best way to avoid
all of this and UH as needed, report the scam
uh FTC. You can also go phishing at PayPal dot
com p h I s H I n G. At
PayPal dot com, you can report any PayPal phishing attempts

(39:42):
that that you have. You can you can save the
email if you want to just forward them. But uh,
but anyway, to me, the the the best of all
of this is direct contact with the provider, whoever it is,
whatever it is. Seventeen passy on we come back a
is it a high honor for the city of Tallahassee

(40:15):
with my grandson picked him up on Friday, and I
love my grandkids. And he recently moved back into town.
And he said, Papa, Tallahassee's a big city. I said, well,

(40:37):
and then I got to thinking about I tried to
explain to him that I kind of think it's a
it's a big town. I've never viewed Tallahassee as a city,
but try explaining that to a six year old. So
I just I said, yeah, it is. It's m knowing.

(41:01):
Oh man, if you ever see New York or Chicago
or Boston or Atlanta or even Orlando. But I got
this press release and I forwarded it to Jose. City
of Tallahassee recognized as a best mid Size US City

(41:24):
by HGTV. Yeah, okay, yay, here's what's interesting about this.
And you know, I'm just I'm sharing from the press
release here. Population between one hundred thousand and five hundred

(41:44):
thousand is categorized as a mid size city. Okay, it's
not my definition. I don't know what mine would be,
so I'm not going to quibble with that. Recognizing Florida's
capital city for its public park screenspace's historic downtown, public art,
and vibrant nightlife. Of the mid sized cities that made

(42:10):
the list, according to HGTV, visit for the outdoor pursuits,
sporting events, public artworks, but be warned you may be
inspired to stay a while while you check out these
places where the living is easy and the fun is
almost guaranteed. So in that list with Tallahassee, see this

(42:30):
is interesting to me. Boise, Idaho, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Colorado, Springs, Colorado, Durham,
North Carolina. Fort Collins, Colorado. What's interesting about Fort Collins
is Fort Collins is one of the cities if I'm

(42:51):
not mistaken that Ben and Aaron Napier focused their attention
on with an HGTV hometown makeover. They brought a bunch
of people in and they tried to spur some economic
growth in the community. I think I could be mistaken
on that. Frisco, Texas. That's a haughty toddy suburb of Dallas,

(43:14):
Fort Worth, Henderson, Nevada. Huntsville, Alabama. Kansas City, Missouri is
mid size. That didn't that just I really okay? Knoxville, Tennessee, Lubbock, Texas, Madison, Wisconsin, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Modesto, California, Omaha, Nebraska.

(43:46):
Omaha is Actually It's been a while since I've been there,
but I always found Omaha to be kind of a
cool place. Overland Park, Kansas, the only other city in
Florida make the list is Port Saint Lucy. Oh, sorry,
and Tampa, Florida. Tampa is not a mid size. I'm sorry,

(44:09):
it's just it's not. And then Salem, Oregon. So there's
your list. I don't know what you think of this designation.
Does does Tallahassee check those boxes? It certainly isn't growing
like the rest of Florida. Tallahassee's growth lags well behind
the rest of Florida, which is interesting as well. So

(44:32):
twenty seven passed the autum. Let's reset the big stories
in just moments.

Speaker 5 (44:37):
Here in the Morning Show with Preston Scott WUFLA.

Speaker 1 (44:49):
Thirty five minutes past. The one big beautiful bill is
going to be voted on. They call it a voter
rama today beginning at nine o'clock. Got some work to
do to get that across the finish line. Tom Tillis,

(45:10):
Senator Tom Tillis, Senator Ran Paul are voting against it.
They're Republicans that are not going to support the bill.
The bill is far from perfect. It is not a
big beautiful bill. It's a big bill, and I think
that's part of the problem that I personally have. I
think that the president, leadership in the House to whatever

(45:34):
degree you want to credit the leadership or blame the
leadership in the House, in the Senate, they have left
us with no option. They have not, in my opinion,
crafted the best bill. But you cannot allow perfect to
be the enemy of good. There's enough good in this
bill that it's got to pass. And then you have

(45:54):
to then really dig in your heels on some things
as it relates to the debt of this nation. But
that's not the big story in the press box, because
that's going to unfold. The big story is rulings by
the Supreme Court which are coming down and I expect
more today. Perhaps Supreme Court ruled six' three the opinion

(46:15):
authored By Justice Amy Coney, barrett and it simply is
ruling that a district court cannot rule and impact the.
Nation you can impact the people that are filing that
petition in front of that district, court and that's. It

(46:37):
President trump is calling it a all caps giant. Win
not really it's a, win but it's not a giant
win because it didn't settle birthright. Citizenship and that's really
what this particular ruling was. About the justices have left
open the possibility that birthright citizenship changes could remain blocked,

(46:58):
nationwide just not this. Case. NOW i think that there
is a massive mistake being made in the interpretation of birthright.
Citizenship we talked about it at length With hans Von
spakowsky of The Heritage, foundation who's a constitutional law. Expert
just so you. Understand if somebody is assigned to The

(47:20):
United states as an ambassador from another, nation and has
happened over the, years a couple that's, married they're serving
as ambassador to this, country they deliver a child born
in this. Country that child is not a citizen of this.
Country they're a citizen of the country from which they were.
Sent AND i would maintain that is exactly what we're

(47:42):
talking about with birthright. Citizenship people that are here in this,
country they give, birth that's, fine will help them out
giving birth because they're here in the emergency. Services but
that child is not a citizen of this. Country they're
a citizen of that. Nation, now in, FAIRNESS i don't
think you Can i'm sympathetic to the plight of kids

(48:06):
that are born. Here it's not their fault that their
parents violated the law immigrated into this country. ILLEGALLY i
think there has to be some form of process to
help them become legal if they want, to but their
parents are going. Home it's that. Simple if you want

(48:26):
to give them a leg up because they were born
here to apply for, Citizenship if they want to go
back home with their, parents that's. Fine if they're a,
minor they have to go back, Home i'm. Sorry and
then what we'll do, is, well this is all they've.
Known they've only known being raised In, america, Right, Okay
if we want to give them some special lane to
apply for immigration, status, okay we'll consider. That that's WHERE

(48:51):
i think common sense has got to somehow find its
way into this discussion on. Immigration another ruling On. Obamacare
the issue was THE Us Preventative Services Task. Force The
Fifth circuit found that it was formed. Unconstitutionally The Supreme court,
disagreed and the ruling was six to. Three it doesn't

(49:16):
surprise Me obamacare shouldn't be a law to begin. With
Justice roberts was, wrong and he was the deciding. Vote
he was. WRONG i would say that to him if
he were sitting here in front of. Me he's. Wrong
he violated the first law of a. Judge he. Assumed

(49:37):
this is what they, meant, Well i'm, sorry but that's
not what was. Written And democrats admitted that they wrote
it in a manner to not use the word taxes
because it would have. Failed it never would have been.
Voted in Justice roberts should have held them to what they.
Wrote subsidized phone. Services it's going to continue that Little

(50:02):
Universal service fund that we are build in our phone
bill and have been for, decades is going to continue
that subsidizing cell phone services to rural. Communities The texas
law and age verification it was. Upheld so there were
some important, wins but there's still more to. Come forty

(50:23):
minutes past the, Hour Doctor Joe camp standing By Healthy.
Expectations next in The Morning, Show Doctor Joe camps joins
Us Healthy. Expectations good, morning.

Speaker 2 (50:40):
Doctor good.

Speaker 4 (50:41):
Morning how are you, Today?

Speaker 1 (50:42):
Preston, awesome, sir how are you?

Speaker 4 (50:43):
Good i'm doing. Fine kind of bittersweet news. Today heart,
disease as you, know as the leading cause of death
around the. World, however overall heart disease deaths over the
past decades have. Dropped now this is dropped by sixty eight.
Percent but hold on with me. Here that's very very good. News,
however on the flip, side other types of heart disease,

(51:08):
arrhythmias heart, failure hypertension have increased by eighty one. Percent
so you might, say, well campsu're sort of splitting words. Here,
well YES i. Am but listen to cardiac risk factors arising,
dramatically And i'm SURE i could get you to name
at least one, obesity, diabetes type, two. Hypertension all these

(51:30):
have increased by more than thirty. Percent now you might, say,
Well i'm a little bit. CONFUSED i said the death
rates have, dropped but on the flip, side the, arrhythmias
the heart, failure the hypertension have increased by eighty one.
Percent and these are all pretty much related to factors
that we can. Control and you, know WHEN i thought about,

(51:53):
this we you, know we keep talking about, this but
the prevalence of the obesity rates and the hypertension and
the diabetes are just climbing, astronomically and so this is
not going to be something that immediately takes you. Out,
however it's not going to be a good sight here

(52:15):
as these numbers continue to. Rise and So i'm not
going to talk about diets and those kinds of, things
BUT i just want to know that AS i continue
to look at heart, disease which is really really the
biggest issue as it relates to our, lifestyle is going
in the wrong. Direction AND i think most of us know.
Why but we want to talk about that and make

(52:38):
sure that we give that some consideration and, thought particularly
as we raise our children and as they begin to
raise their. Children in my, CASE i think we've got
to keep these issues before them because this is not good.
News and basically it revolves around what we eat and
so and the lack of exercise and those kinds of

(52:58):
things we talked. About BUT i think we've got to
bring these to bear and impress upon our children the
need to turn these numbers around because it's going to
have a devastating impact on our. Culture AND i think
that's the one MESSAGE i want to drive home.

Speaker 1 (53:15):
Today it would be fair to say that it might
be the single most important driver to health care, costs isn't.

Speaker 5 (53:22):
It?

Speaker 4 (53:23):
ABSOLUTELY i, mean this drives. Everything this drives not only
your grocery bill is taxing to your health care. Costs
people are. DYING i, mean as you well, know it
costs money to be. Buried SO i mean it just
has an impact all across the, region and it really
boils down to our discipline of keeping, moving moving. About

(53:48):
And i'm not going to talk about their, hives routines
and those kinds of, things but watching what you, eat
increasing your, vegetables lowering your caloric intacts or saturated. Fast
we all know. That we keep talking about, it yet
the numbers keep going in their own. Direction So i'm
gonna keep hammering that pressing because we need to make
some positive. Changes and we are educating our, kids if you,

(54:11):
will so that doesn't bow well for the future if
we continue this.

Speaker 1 (54:15):
Pattern all, right Doctor, joe thank. You i've got some
thoughts that maybe we can combine our efforts and do
some kind of competition here among our listeners and lose some.

Speaker 4 (54:25):
Weight, well you, Know i'll come in studio again and
we can talk about. It be happy to do, that
because we need to take better care of.

Speaker 2 (54:35):
Ourselves thank, You.

Speaker 4 (54:36):
Joe all, right, buddy take care for.

Speaker 1 (54:37):
Us Doctor joe camps with us back in a couple of.
Weeks we will be off Next. Monday we'll be back
in two weeks with another edition Of Healthy. Expectations oh,

(55:04):
yes once, again it's. Time if you read something. INSANE
i probably did.

Speaker 2 (55:11):
It i'm find of.

Speaker 1 (55:13):
Food the block is going ahead and google my.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
Name go now there is no man to the. SINS
i have committed.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
And get ready to sing and we all feel man.
Away we have, somebody.

Speaker 2 (55:32):
Yeah, Boy.

Speaker 1 (55:35):
Indian River, County. Florida we if we have A hall of,
Fame Derek howard Of Vero beach is going in. It
this is a level Of florida man that is not
achieved very. Often we've been doing these stories probably five

(56:00):
or six, years where we just zeroed in On florida
man as a. Thing band gave us permission to use the.
Song the guy who wrote the song said. Absolutely Indian
River Sheriff's office gets a distress call The Blue Cypress lake.

(56:27):
Area caller said that there was an airboat. Accident caller
reported he had flipped his, vessel injured and that his
passenger was. Missing of, course The sheriff's office responded big.

(56:47):
Time large rescue effort included, deputies fire, rescue their marine,
Unit Florida fish And, WILDLIFE Us Coast Guard blackhawk, helicopter
and then they located our, Man Derek. Howard derek was. Drunk,

(57:11):
allegedly there was no, crash there was no missing, passenger
there were no. Injuries my Man derek ran out of
gas and made it up to get. Help quicker bugs

(57:41):
buddy would call him a. Maroon what a? Maroon, oh my, goodness,
Gracious so my man ended up in the back of
a patrol car with his hands cuffed behind his. Back
why on earth do you make up that kind of? Story,

(58:06):
HONESTLY i hope they bill. HIM i wonder what the
bill is to mobilize fire and, rescue multiple, deputies marine,
Unit fish And, wildlife and A Coast Guard blackhawk. Helicopter
what do you think it flew From florida's west. Coast

(58:29):
we're looking at twenty thirty thousand. Dollars we'll take. Payments
that's just next Level. Florida, yeah here's the best part
About florida. Man you just feel better about yourself when

(58:52):
you hear about what some people. Do all of a,
sudden you just don't feel quite so. Dumb you have
an elevated sense of self worth after Hearing florida man.
Stories and so it's a public service to. You all,
Right what IF i told you that a lifestyle shift

(59:15):
could net you ten years of what is called an inflammatory.
Age your inflammation status increases as you. Age what IF

(59:36):
i told you that by making a lifestyle change you
could drop that marker by ten. Years i'm going to
share the story of A stanford longevity, expert a Doctor David,
furman who reversed his biological age by ten. Years how

(59:59):
to do it and talk about that. Next it's a fascinating,
story certainly easier said than. Done coming up next here
on The Morning show With Preston.

Speaker 2 (01:00:10):
Scott, well my.

Speaker 1 (01:00:29):
APOLOGIES i have a new blog, up but it's not popping.
Up we've got some issues with the websites. Updating they're not,
updating so there's something going. On they'll work on it
and get it. Fixed. Welcome the podcast is back after
what about a three day? Hiatus did we lose about three?
Days maybe? Four we are back on the podcast, page

(01:00:52):
so we're you, know you can get back to your.
Routine we are going on vacation Starting friday and we'll
be Gone friday through the next week and back On,
monday the. FOURTEENTH i, KNOW i, know, sorry but we're
not being. Reprimanded we're not being. Suspended everything's. Fine we're

(01:01:17):
just taking a little Time, okay it actually leads very
nicely into this. Story this was a dog eared for
me The Economic, times The panache. Section here's the. Headline
stanford longevity expert reverses his age by ten years with

(01:01:38):
one radical lifestyle. Shift So i'm going to tell you what,
happened and then we'll get to the takeaways that apply
to you and. Me he's an. Expert david, Doctor David.
Furman he found himself back in twenty sixteen battling chronic
migraines kind of the toll of living in. SoCal he

(01:02:07):
is a pioneer of the one Thousand Immunomes, project an
associate professor At. Stanford he decided to take a cellular
look at his. Health though he was chronologically thirty, nine
his inflammatory, age a biomarker linked to disease and, degeneration

(01:02:31):
clocked in at forty. Two so he's thirty, nine but
his biological age was older than. That so the stresses
even THOUGH i mean that's a relatively young, age right
forty's to new, thirty you know, whatever his lifestyle was

(01:02:53):
creating circumstances in his body that were manifesting with symptoms
like migraines and other things that were just very. Difficult
so he packed up his, wife his two, kids and
he moved to a two bedroom cabin in Northern. California

(01:03:15):
chairs were, banned industrial cleaners. Out electric usage was pared
back to the bare minimum by seven point thirty every
evening overhead lights were turned off and the family lived by.
Candlelight no, screens no, devices everything. Analog daily routine was,

(01:03:38):
foraging organic, eating fitness in. Nature he began each day
with ten to fifteen pull, ups caught fresh fish from
the nearby, creek snacked on handpicked. Berries meals featured nutrient,
dense unprocessed. Foods, raspberries, broccoli wild greens became the. Norm

(01:04:02):
this was not a, Retreat this was a rigorous experiment
he was determined to do where he was not just the,
scientist but he was the. Subject three years, later he
went back and did another cellular. Test his inflammatory age

(01:04:25):
had dropped to thirty, two ten years younger than he
was at the time he was forty. Two his biological
clock said thirty two migrains replaced by sharper, focus sustained.
Energy in, fact he published three research papers in a

(01:04:49):
single year and said he felt better than ever so
what are the? Takeaways there are actually other studies that
offer some ideas to how you AND i can benefit
without moving to a cabin in the middle of. Nowhere

(01:05:12):
we'll get to that next ten minutes past the.

Speaker 3 (01:05:14):
Hour look at, Us look at us trying to help
you feel. Better it's The Morning show With Preston. Scott
What i'm doing right? Now can reverse my?

Speaker 1 (01:05:34):
Agent a little? Break, dancing, moonwalk do the? Jerk, NO
i am. True it's The Morning show and we're talking

(01:05:55):
about a paper. Here Economic Times Stanford Longevity Expert reverses
is a by ten. Years Doctor David furman is the.
Subject his inflammatory age dropped from forty two to thirty
two by getting out and living in nature for a

(01:06:17):
few years and simplifying his life quite a. Bit so
what does this mean to you AND? I because, okay
let's put all cards on the, table Right we're not doing.
This you're not doing. This that's some of. You you've
retired to a cabin somewhere and you're listening On. iHeartRadio,
cool good on, you, great and it's benefited you, probably that's.

(01:06:40):
Awesome but you're like in the three, percentile the two.
Percentile all, right there's the rest of. US i have
no interest in moving to a cabin in the middle of.
Nowhere you know, why BECAUSE i don't want to be
away from my kids and my. GRANDKIDS i like being
with my. Family that's like a very important part of my.

(01:07:01):
Life in, fact there may be an offset for me
to move away BECAUSE i wouldn't be in contact with
the people THAT i love and care for the. Most,
besides how WOULD i do this show? NOW i? COULD
i could do it from a. CABIN i was offered
the opportunity to do my show remotely DURING. COVID i

(01:07:22):
could have done it from my. HOME i insisted on coming.
In why this wouldn't sound the. Same it would have
sounded kind, of you, know hollow and. Weird, no, no,
no you missed my dulcet. Tones but there are things
to learn from this experiment that wasn't really an. Experiment
it was a lifestyle change that turned into a research.

(01:07:43):
Experiment it's called forest. Bathing there was a study done
in twenty Nineteen university Of exeter and it revealed that
time spent in green spaces significantly improves health outcomes and

(01:08:03):
mental well, being even those with chronic diseases or. Disabilities,
now how do we define? That what is forest? Bathing
there's a number you ready is important two hours a
week in. Nature what's interesting is it didn't have to

(01:08:26):
be remote, woodlands, parks. Beaches what mattered was consistency and
a degree of, immersion if you, will sixty minutes uh,
huh ninety minutes uh. Uh two hours is the measurable

(01:08:47):
benchmark where there are. Benefits less than two hours doesn't
get it done in that. Interesting an hour doesn't have
hardly any impact at. All it's what's interesting about it
is it's not, like, well if two hours is, good
one hour is better than. Nothing, no it actually is

(01:09:09):
showing that less than two hours is the same as.
Nothing so two hours is your, Marker and so reversing
the aging process and gaining a little health could be
as simple as walking in a, park eating what the

(01:09:32):
earth gives, you just kind of slowing. Down you. KNOW
i thought about. This i've had this story sitting on
my desk for about a, week and it could be
as simple as for, me WHY i love being in my,
GARDEN i love working in my. Yard it might not

(01:09:57):
be the. SAME i would be curious to know if
working in the yard LIKE i trimmed roses with my
grandson On saturday, morning is that the. SAME i don't.
KNOW i know THAT i get more than two hours
a week in my. YARD i absolutely know. That if

(01:10:19):
this encourages you to go to a local beach and just,
sit you have to sit in the. Sun you can
bring an umbrella out and it just park and just.
Look go to a, pier go to a park, nearby
go to a like a Maclay, gardens enjoy. It just walk.

(01:10:40):
Around go to The tallahassee what is It Tallahassee museum or.
Whatever that's like a sort of kind of. Zoo they
could really make that into a decent zoo if they wanted.
To i'm just Saying i've long called for a zoo
in our, area a really good. ZOO i think we
need a good, zoo not kud zoo. Zoo we have enough.

(01:11:02):
Kutzuo in, fact does anybody have any, goats? Right wooden't
goats be just wonderful in our community to take care
of some of the vines that are killing the canopy
that we so. Love, anyway there's some ideas for you
on how to feel a little bit better with two
hours of investment in just being in. Nature a little

(01:11:23):
bit seventeen past the, hour speaking of, nature guess what's.
Next we are hoping to HAVE us Congress Woman Cat
camick with us. Tomorrow she of, course had to evacuate

(01:11:43):
her offices due to death threats to, her her, family her.
Staff it's. Preposterous hopefully we'll get her on the. Program
just make sure she's okay and get her thoughts on
all that nonsense before we talk about what's going on
In washington with The bill and other. Things but, first.

Speaker 3 (01:12:07):
In the wild or in our, homes we love them,
critters large and. Small time for another edition of Animal
stories on The Morning show With Preston.

Speaker 1 (01:12:17):
Scott with a hearty tip of the cap To Larry,
lujack who in my mind is the originator of animal.
Stories we bring you an amazing animal story and in,
fact this might be the only animal story of the,
day And i'll have to save the others for later this.
Week pet adoption event at A virginia church recently took

(01:12:42):
an extraordinary. Turn four year old labradoodle pit bull. Mix
first of, all labradoodle pit bull MIX. Omg the Dog
Sienna shelter described her as one of the Weed as
dogs found as a. Stray was among the dozens of

(01:13:05):
pats looking for a forever home at the adoption event In.
June she was calmly greeting anybody that would come near
and just being she was very well trained and housebroken
and very well. Mannered so she's surrounded by people listen to,
this abruptly breaks away from the group and goes to

(01:13:29):
one man that's away from the group and sat at his,
feet placed her paw on his leg and would not
budget didn't.

Speaker 2 (01:13:48):
Move hold.

Speaker 1 (01:13:50):
On it wasn't a, trick it wasn't a. Prompt it
was the dog intuitively went straight to this, man a
guy Named Josh. Davis now The Washington post picks. Up,
Wait Washington, post how does this story find? It, Well

(01:14:11):
josh has epilepsy and was about to have a full
seizure and the dog picked up on it no training at.
All his wife came over and recognized the signs that

(01:14:32):
he was about to have a, seizure got him. Home
he had forgotten to take his medicine that day and
because Of sienna did not have a full blown. Seizure

(01:14:52):
AND i, mean, look seizures can be nothing and they
can be life. Ending needless to, say the story has gone.
Viral adoption requests poured. In siana was adopted by a

(01:15:17):
family In roanoke who has two, sons including one with,
epilepsy and that's who she stays with all the. Time
is that just? Incredible we hear about dogs that are
able to sense something happening with a, diabetic with other various,

(01:15:43):
conditions suicide. Depression dogs can be trained to recognize. THAT
i know of dogs and stories of, dogs know of.
DOGS i know of stories of dogs that have stopped
someone from grabbing a gun to kill, himself kind of

(01:16:07):
shaking him out of. It this is just. Incredible the
dog just added in him her twenty seven minutes after the,
hour see see redeeming content here on The Morning show
With Preston scott getting a lot of email interest in

(01:16:51):
that outdoor. Thing i'll do my best to respond to the.
Emails but the story in the press box this. Morning
and if you're wondering what are you talking? About if
you're just joining, us go back to the podcast and
check out the third. Hour the start of the third,
hour just ten years younger in your biological clock by

(01:17:16):
getting out into, nature and the magic number is two
hours a. Week the question that's coming out most often
is is that two hours all at once or can
it be spread. Out i'll see IF i can find
that answer for you haven't looked in depth into that
far into the. Story i've read the summary and the

(01:17:38):
kind of the what do they call? That the ah
the words escaping me the abstract of the. Study but
we'll do what we. Can the big story of The
Supreme court some. Rulings they did not settle birthright, citizenship
but they did send a shot over the back on

(01:18:00):
district courts can't issue nationwide. Injunctions that was six to.
Three it was basically the six you would expect and
the three you would. Expect how about IF i put
it that, way it is not the giant win That
trump hoped it would be on birthright. Citizenship it is

(01:18:22):
the giant win that they needed it to be on
district court. Rulings that's why it's called a district. COURT
a district court can't stop a nationwide. Whatever it can
only impact people arguing before that specific. District Key obamacare

(01:18:43):
element remains in, effect as does the fee to subsidized phone.
Services both of those were six to three. Votes The
obamacare is. Interesting The Fifth circuit said that THE Us
Preventative Services Task, force which has a role in choosing
what services can be covered Under, obamacare The Supreme court

(01:19:07):
said that it was not formed. Unconstitutionally The Fifth circuit
said it. Was Fifth circuit has been overruled by a
six to three. Vote your phone bill will continue to
subsidize cell phone internet in rural. Areas Justices, Gorsich alito

(01:19:34):
And thomas. Dissented texas law and age verification on porn
sites upheld good makes. Sense the opt out this is
another real big, one the opt out on lgbt. Books
parents can opt out In. Maryland that is likely something

(01:19:55):
that's going to settle a lot of things across the.
Country parents have their right to opt their kids. OUT
i think the bigger question is what in the world
of public schools do and spending your tax dollars on?
Smut and why are THE lgbtq groups so obsessed With,
WELL i have the, answer so do. You they're obsessed
with sexualizing children because they want to normalize aberant. BEHAVIOR

(01:20:20):
i don't know how else to put. It The Louisiana
maps we did not get to. That The court declined
to rule in a dispute Involving louisiana's electoral map that
increase the number of minority congressional districts in the. State
the case is restored to the calendar for. Reargument in due,

(01:20:44):
course The court will issue in order scheduling argument and
specifying any additional questions to be addressed in supplemental. Briefing
and so they did not make a. Decision so that's
where we are forty minutes past the. Hour you're caught
up on what went on with The Supreme court of
the WEEKEND.

Speaker 5 (01:21:03):
Wufla, friday and what's The?

Speaker 1 (01:21:21):
Beef we were reminded to talk about other dangers here In, florida,
right not just the beaches and the rip currents and
the obvious marine life that is off our, coast but.
Alligators we were reminded, that, hey you, know these can

(01:21:46):
be serious. Things, well, no sooner DID i get that
warning on what's the beef THAN i got this. Story
sixty four year old woman kayaking with a group of
Twenty Tiger creek when she felt something bump her, paddle

(01:22:09):
then snapping it in. Half the kayak tipped over alligator
on her. Arm her husband tried to drag her on
top of the overturned, kayak but one of her arms
was still stuck below the. Surface eight foot female alligator
clamped down at the. Elbow another kayaker in the group

(01:22:41):
tried to rescue the attacked. Woman the alligator grabbed his
life vest tried to drag him under the water with
the infamous death. Roll the guy stuck his fingers deep
into the eyes of the alligator and he gave him
time to unbuck is life. Vest the alligator then drifted

(01:23:03):
away with the life vest in its. Mouth the woman
nearly lost her. Arm it was mangled and nearly completely.
Detached she will not lose, it but she will be
facing several reconstructive surgeries and then physical. Therapy mating nesting,

(01:23:28):
season the alligator detect was exhibiting protective and territorial, behavior
and so they hunted the alligator down ended its life just,
Saying i'll be honest with, You i'm JUST i am

(01:23:51):
a nervous person when it comes to kayaking in alligator
lakes and. Rivers AND i, know, then what are you?
Saying i'm saying in a big, Boat that's What i'm
Saying i'm just too low to the. Water too many
kayaks are. SHAPED i, mean there's shaped kayak is the
shape of an. ALLIGATOR i KNOW i have unreasonable. Respect

(01:24:16):
some would call it fear of. Alligators they swim better
THAN i, do they're stronger THAN i. Am and if
an alligator decides it wants to get after my, kayak
it's going to. Win it is it just. Is so

(01:24:38):
that's something to pay attention. To here's another and this is. Horrifying,
now this did not happen In. Florida this happened In Hampton,
Beach New. Hampshire nineteen year old boy diving into the
waves done at a thousand. Times the problem is where

(01:25:00):
he was diving has been changed under the water the
sand because of the constant of a wave of ocean,
right the sandbar changed its. Shape when he dove, in
the sandbar was just underneath the surface of the water
and he snapped his, neck severe, injuries intensive. Care who

(01:25:33):
knew the sandbar had been built? Up SO i GUESS
i say that because, man how many times have we seen? That?
Right even diving in without a pier or jumping off
a rock anywhere no, elevation just diving in if you're

(01:25:54):
not sure the depth of the, water man skim, it don't.
Dive you know WHAT i mean by? Skimming it just
sort of like like if you're swimming in a pool
doing a lap and you're just jumping off the. Side
you don't dive way down at least, well most. Don't
high end. Swimmers they do that dolphin kick thing and

(01:26:16):
are well under the, water AND i get, that but
you know What i'm talking. About it's just this is
one of those stories that just causes me to, say
just the kids are out there horsing around on the,
beach just make sure they. Understand check where they're. Diving
make sure the water's plenty deep enough to support whatever
kind of dive they're. Doing if they're doing head first.

(01:26:39):
Dives all, right sands, hard it's. Hard it packs. Right
forty seven minutes after do all, right we got a
record againness record to talk about. Next always like to

(01:27:04):
lead the program and leave you with something notable to,
remember maybe inspire Right Guinness World. Record Lily havevesh aka
havesh five on YouTube assembled a team of domino building

(01:27:25):
experts at The National Building museum In, WASHINGTON D. C
and assembled the world's tallest domino structure thirty three feet
two point seven four inches. Tall they spent five days

(01:27:47):
assembling a domino tower measuring thirty three feet two and
just under three quarter inches, tall breaking the record of
thirty two feet ten point eight, inches and then they
celebrate by throwing a stuffed squirrel toy at the top
of the tower and watching it. Collapse, Now i'm gonna

(01:28:08):
check this out online BECAUSE i want to know if
they if they actually made a, tower or if they
just stacked domino's one on the other on the. OTHER
i can't, imagine first of, all, obviously if you you
have to have something perfectly level to stack at that
to that, point because if there's any imprecision in how

(01:28:33):
level the base, is every time each subsequent domino that
you're stacking gets further and further off, center and it
will eventually collapse on. Itself i'm fascinated by, this But
i'm not going to try to break the. Record brought
to you By Barno heating And. Air it's The Morning

(01:28:54):
show one ON wfla Look back at the p in
one hundred and eighty seconds or. Less started With ephesians
Two verse. Ten that's where we began the program and
the programming week short week off On friday for fourth Of,
july off the following week back On, monday the. Fourteenth

(01:29:17):
just let me. Know we're just getting away for a few.
Days big story in the press. Box Supreme court of
The United states issuing some, rulings some good, ones some head,
scratchers and a couple stinky. Ones i'm sure there's more
coming out. Today one big beautiful bill has a couple

(01:29:37):
descending votes in The. Senate, republicans there's a little gamesmanship
going on Between republicans And. Democrats The president wants the
bill By. Friday not sure he's going to get it By,
friday but they've got to pass the tax park portion of.
THIS i, this just this entire thing just shows the
dysfunction Of. Congress AND i, mean to borrow from Our domino,

(01:30:02):
analogy how far from center and balanced we've. Become we're
just not. There gave you some help on the New PayPal.
Scheme that, is it's a scam for anyone that Has
PayPal and even those that, don't and it looks really.

Other florida cities Included Tampa Mid size really And Port Saint. Lucy.
Ticks that's ALL i have to, say, Right. Ticks we
talked about ticks and an Epic florida man, story and

(01:30:49):

tomorrow's program, already have things, booked, already have things in, mind,
already have stories. Stacking until, then my, friends have yourself
