thirty years, Tom Gresham has been your trusted source on
all things ballistic, new guns, Second Amendment, personal protection, be
part of it, Paul, Tom talk gun. Now here's Tom.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Oh boy, do we have a bush to talk about today?
I'm telling you, I'm Tom Gresham, I'm your host. We're
going to be talking about well, Second Amendment. Of course,
we've got a lot of things going on on the
tow a front. We'll talk about self defensive guns. We
got an example of how we had it kind of worked,
but it kind of didn't and a self defense use
of a gun. Look, there's a time for talking, there's

(00:55):
a time for shooting, and this good guy got it
all confused. I get to the details on that as
we go along. We've got a lot of things going
on in the courts. We're winning a bunch of them
and some of them we're still struggling with and some
we're not getting quite as far or quite as fast
as we'd like to. And then this weird story about FedEx. Yeah,

(01:18):
fed X deciding that they won't deliver suppressors, and it's yeah,
it's kind of a second amend of thing where it's
also a breach a contract thing working with Silence or Central.
We'll have some details on that. We'll talk to those folks.
Of course. We'll take your calls and comments and questions.
If you got a thought about any of this, or
or if you just got a gun you want to

(02:20):
some of the things we're. Doing, okay so there's a
lot of things going, on and we have an interesting.
Situation it used to be that all the gun rights
groups fought each other and bast each. Other not quite
as much. Anymore i'd like to say It's kumbaya. Time
maybe not quite, that but it's a lot of working
together and maybe it's sharing costs as much as, anything

(02:42):
but getting a lot of things. Done joining me right
now to talk about, that and a whole bunch of
other things of interesting stuff going. On Hannah hills joins
us from The National association For Gun rights and, Also,
hannah you are the vice president of The National foundation
For Gun.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Rights, Welcome, Hey, tom how you do?

Speaker 5 (03:01):
It?

Speaker 3 (03:02):
WELL i am. Great it has been a crazy busy
couple of, weeks has. It it.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
Has we've had a lot.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Happening so first of, all let's talk about this idea
that it used to be that all the gun rights
groups kind of worked against each. Other and, LOOK i get,
it everybody's trying to get members and donors and all of,
that and there were turf wars going, on but it
seems to me that there's much more cooperation between the
gun rights groups when it comes to the legal aspect

(03:33):
of getting things. Done AM i seeing that?

Speaker 4 (03:34):
RIGHT i think you. Are and it's been a lot
of fun to be a part of. It it's been
really really good to. See but you, know litigation is
a really really straightforward. Thing when it comes to the
political side of, it that's prone to a whole lot
more variances and tactical, approaches et, cetera et. Cetera litigation

(03:55):
is a lot more, straightforward so it lends itself a
lot more that everybody, can you, know pull in the same.
Direction if you're not the lead organization on this, lawsuit
you can get behind it with supporting anikas. Brief and you,
know LIKE i, said it's been a lot of fun
to be part of and it's been really encouraging to see.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
IT i.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
THINK i think we've been able to see a lot
of really good things, resulting including The Supreme court just
granting another search to another gun.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Case, yes, yes, yes, yes talk about. That.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
Yeah so this is actually a challenge To hawaii's they
call it The Vampire rule colloquially within the second num of. Community,
basically what it does is banned public carry in private
businesses unless the business owner affirmatively posts a sign on
the door that says you may carry on my. Premises

(04:49):
so it completely flips what that assumption is for private
businesses that are open to the. Public that is actually
completely we apathetical to Everything bruin established in that rulin
a few years. Ago so we're really thrilled to see
The Supreme court finally finally take a case to start

(05:12):
cracking down on the Lower court's defiance Of bruin at every,
turn and hopefully we're going to see some good things
from this.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Ruling i'm glad you Mentioned. Bruin i'm online recently just
like at the last, hour somebody would, say, well you,
Know dan already hasn't done anything for me and now
never doing any anything in the future for. Me AND i, said,
well you have you ever heard of The ruin, case
Because bruin WASN'T nra. Case, people, well.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
You, know It's New York State rifle And Pistol association
Versus bruin and everybody all the gun groups That i'm
aware of got behind that case and pushed. It you,
know when The Supreme court so we're going to take,
it we all jumped. Off we all saw of Mecas
brees asking The Supreme. Court we left no stone unturned.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
For, everybody AND i know everybody was in But New
York State rifle And Pistol association's part OF, nra AND
ra was very much involved with. THAT i just it's
just bugs me when people, say, well THE nra hasn't done,
anything AND i want to tell, Them, look every group
is working, hard and everybody's working together right, now and,
honestly you can't afford to throw out somebody that has

(06:19):
really good resources WITH nra does when we're all working
together towards the same.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
Goal you, KNOW i can't think of a single major
gung gerus out there that doesn't have some really good
litigation projects going to reclaim grounds for The Second. Amendment you,
know it's a real delight to see all of us
pulling in that direction to repeal gun control through the.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Courts and we're making headway in a NUMBER i, mean
we never make as much headway as we, want but
we are making. Headway do you think that the group's
working together as part of, That.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
You, KNOW i do THINK i do think it's part
of that to a. Degree we're not making it as
much headways we'd like, to simply because we. Don't nobody
knows what The Supreme court wants to see and wants to, do,
RIGHT i, know we're all playing a guessing game as
to what's going on in The Supreme.

Speaker 6 (07:11):
Court.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
Sads, certainly if it were up to all of, us
we would have made major progress a long time, ago
because we're all asking The Supreme court to do, stuff
and until The Supreme court does, it obviously the lower
courts aren't going to do. It so we all we
can do is file the, lawsuits support each other's lawsuits
to the best of our, ability and keep banging at

(07:33):
the door of The Supreme court until they let us.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
In you, know we would, really we would really like
to have two or three major cases accepted each year
by The Supreme. Court BUT i got to tell, you
if somebody who's been watching this for, many many decades
and when seeing nothing, HAPPEN i know it feels like
a snails pace to a lot of people, Now but
to some of Us we're looking at it and, going,
man this thing is speeding right. Along so it's that

(07:57):
old joke of you know, what does the snail snay
climbs from the back the, turtle he goes.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
We true and to the sail of the. Turtle thing
slow and steady does win the. Race we, know my
concern was After, bruin so we know. That you, know
you Had heller in two thousand and eight that was a,
massive prominent, precedent and then they kind of reiterated it
a couple of years later in. McDonald's and then like
for over ten, years you had A Second amendment desert

(08:23):
and when The Supreme court wasn't willing to enforce this,
precedent you had the lower court, saying, oh, well we
can do whatever we want, to which obviously not to
knock down gun. Control that was the big. Concern one
year after year passed After brewin without anything major, happening
we Had. Raheemi So raheemi really served to mostly water

(08:44):
down The brewin. Standard So i'm really encouraged By. Wolford
i'm really really hoping that maybe this means that the
era Of Supreme court passivity in regards to the defiance
of lower, course and was The Second amendment may be
coming to an?

Speaker 3 (08:58):
End all? RIGHT i got to ask you the, question
the obvious, question the elephant in the. Room we got
a lot of people, Say, Wow trump's administration is doing.
Great doj has worked with, Us they're filing a meekas,
Briefs they're decide not to continue on. Things and now
you've got This National association For Gun right saying, yeah
but we've got to Fire Pam. Bondy it's time to
get rid of. Her what's going? On?

Speaker 4 (09:20):
Right what we want to See tom with that is
a major policy change from The department Of, justice, Right
because if you're going to be a pro Gun department Of,
justice then the very bare minimum you have to be
to have as a rule is do no harm to
The Second. Amendment whether you regain ground for The Second
amendment or, not at least you have to do no.
Harm that means you don't perpetuate bidenary policies like The

(09:42):
engage in The business. Rule that means that needs the
repeal of that gun control, rule, which by the, way
kind of gave THE atf a blank check to more
or less ban private firearm. Sales it's the rule under
Which brian now now was killed by.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
Day what what was that just undone by executive?

Speaker 4 (10:03):
Order? No, no not in my. Knowledge now they have
to go through The Administrative Procedures act to repeal the
engaged in The business. Rules and that's a lengthy. Process
that's that's how it. Started biden gave out an executive
order saying you're going to do, this and then The
department Of justice and THE atf took months and months
to actually carry that. Out but because it's a lengthy,

(10:26):
process there's nothing stopping The department Of justice from instituting
rule making procedures. Today, instead what we've gotten is delay
after delay while they study. It, well there's nothing to, Study,
Tom we need it.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Repealed so why do you want to supply Of Pam?
Bondy so WHAT.

Speaker 4 (10:45):
I, Want no one really really wants. That what we
want is policy. Change we want her to be The
Second amendment advocate that she claims to. Be we want
to repeal the engaged in The business. Rules we want
the federal government to stop fighting against gun rights advocates
every time federal gun control ends up in the. Courts

(11:06):
that is not something that we have seen and you,
know we've had eight, months what is an eight or
nine months since our, confirmation where on the one hand
you have THE doj doing good, stuff but on the
other hand continuing in many, cases too many, cases to
do bad stuff when it comes to The Second amendment

(11:26):
and the two don't cancel each other. Out we have
a golden opportunity under The trump administration to make some
serious drives to at least repeal the harm to the
past couple of democratic. Administrations but not if we put
up with delays and excuses and. Obfuscations so that's really
what we want to.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
See, Okay, well there you. Go you KNEW i had
to ask us to find out what's going on. Here
HAND i appreciate your, time appreciate what you, do And
i'm glad that the major gun groups or gun rights

Speaker 6 (14:11):
Up you, know if it's LIKE c, four it's almost
like a smack.

Speaker 9 (14:14):
Hunting, yeah we talk about that.

Speaker 7 (14:16):
Too on your, CROSSHAIRS i like a thin, Crosshair.

Speaker 9 (14:20):
Aje you're really dating yourself by calling things.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Crosshairs you're redical.

Speaker 7 (14:23):
Whatever have some fun and stay informed with the Gun talk.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Podcast hey This Shohnny derry From Derry's. Guns welcome back
to Gun. Talk yeah. Thoughts SO i had to go
online and look this. Up a story out of Bright
bart about ten days. Ago it says On, TUESDAY Us

(14:49):
District Court Judge Corey mays permanently blocked federal authorities from
enforcing multiple provisions of the ats engaged in The Business.
Rule but it looks like they said it's only for
members of the n R. A we're going to talk

(15:09):
about this later on the. Show what's going on is
we're getting these decisions and now they apply only to the,
plaintiffs not to. Everybody even though the court may, say,
well this law is, unconstitutional but we're gonna leave it
in place for almost, everybody because if you weren't involved
in the actual, lawsuit if you were't a member OF
nra Or Second Amendment foundation Or Finance Policy call as
you brought the, suit then you don't get a relief

(15:31):
out of. This this comes out of a case called
The kasa, case which is about a month or two,
ago and it's About Donald trump and other, issues where
The Supreme court, said, yeah we really don't want these
lower courts issuing national injunctions that were Stopping trump from
being able to use like Oh National. Guard they, say,

(15:55):
well you, know if you're a circuit court then or
a district you can't issue a national. Injunction, well now
that's affected us because now the courts are, saying, well that's,
unconstitutional but we can't actually give relief to everybody in the.
Country we'll have to leave it as an unconstitutional. Law
SO i know That hannah said that this was not the,

(16:18):
case but it actually is the. Case at least if
you're an. Ener remember this engaged in the business rule
from THE atf has been. Enjoined there's something going on
here And i'm sorry to see it coming. Back and,
Look i'm just going to tell you this is my,
take and others will most certainly disagree with me on.

(16:38):
This but through the, YEARS i have seen the gun
rights groups go at each, other and it's not that
they're actually care about going at each. Other it's all about.
Fundraising it's all about saying we're, stronger we're, better we're more,
pure we're The you will, recognize is this one the

(17:01):
only no compromise?

Speaker 5 (17:04):
Group?

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Really, okay it's all just. Show it's all just. Theater
it's all just, fundraising and the people online buy into. It,
here we gotta Fire Pim. Bondy, okay take a deep,
Breath go look at some other. Sources go look at

(17:28):
THE x feed From Harmy, dylan who's actually working on
this as an Assistant Attorney. General find better. Sources if
all you're doing is listening to people who are saying
we're the only no compromised, group or where the group
that does this and the other groups are not as
good as we, are start thinking they're just looking for.

(17:50):
Donors they're just looking for, Members they're just looking for,
money and OFTEN i think that's exactly what's going. On
my wife used to teach history to middle, schooters and
she would always, say why was? That why did we
get that? War why did we get that? Action they
would go this and. That she's, no, no it's always. Money

(18:11):
AND i, said, well what about? Power? Money money is the.
Power it's always comes down to. Money so just something
to put into your thinking gap and consider that that,
maybe just maybe when you're hearing this ranting and raving
and christ for, outrage because that's kind of where we are,

(18:34):
now Isn't it's like waking up and, Thinking, OKAY i
got to go check my sources to find out who
and What i'm supposed to be outraged about. Today who
AM i supposed to be angry? About so weirdess Thing
being angry feels good for some weird. Reason maybe maybe

(18:55):
push back from the online stuff and read your. Book
there's just, thoughts you, know maybe. Possibilities by the, WAY
i just, Finish speaking of, BOOKS i just finished the
New jack, Carbook Cry. Havoc really, good some really good gun.
Stuff you. Know we Had Stevid hunter on last. Week

(19:15):
he was talking about making sure he Got bisley's single
action revolvers into his Latest. Western and in this one
you got is this based in nineteen sixty Eight vietnam.
Era and you got a lot of the, guns the custom,
guns custom gun. Makers you got some references to some
of the gun trainers of the, time The Jeff coopers
of the, world some fun. Stuff if you like these

(19:39):
kinds of, books and if you like His Terminal list,
SERIES i think you would enjoy his latest. Book so
just passing that. Along you, KNOW i bought, it they
didn't send it to. ME i like his. Stuff i'm a.
Fan so there you. Go there's you're familiar with gunbroker
auction site for. Guns there's another site that's going to

(20:04):
be popping. Open we'll have the news for that in
a few. Weeks expect there to be another gun auction.
SITE i think there are already some. Others this will
be a large. One and of course there are other
sites where you can just go buy a. Gun whi's
used guns as. Well don't, forget by the, way you
are friends over At Doweries. Guns they have new guns of,

(20:27):
course and you can buy those. Online but you can
also buy the used, guns and all of those come
with their lifetime, warranty and so they back them. Up
it's non, transferable but it's a lifetime warranty for. You
if you buy a used. Gun if something happens to,
it they'll fix. It they can't fix, it they'll replace it.
Forever it's pretty good. Deal doweriesguns Dot. Com good people over.

(20:47):
There i'm looking at two or three guns THAT i
don't need, online you, know JUST i don't know WHY
i look at. These go, wow that's a really nice. Gun,
yeah you know it's a two. Seventy you already have
two seventy and you have like four different seven millimeter

(21:08):
cartridges rifles to sixty and you got. Bracketed what are
you doing? HERE i don't. Know IF i understood myself,
BETTER i could tell you What i'm doing. HERE i don't.
Know so there you. Go we'll have some more about.
That uh in just a, minute if we would come,
back we're going to Get. Paul don't going. Here we're

(21:29):
gonna get to. You question for, you is you, know
talk about this idea of the the concept of we're
the no compromise. Group is it better to Say i'm
not going to accept anything if it's not EVERYTHING i.
Want or is it better to Say i'll take fifty
percent of WHAT i want, today Then i'm gonna come

(21:50):
back next year and get some, more and next year
and get some. More it feels to, me it feels
like that's what the gun banners have been able to
do over the decades is take a, little take a,
little take a, little take a. Look, WELL i want
to take back, some and take back, some and take back.
SOME i don't need to get it all at one.

(22:10):
TIME i need to get some of, it And i'm
going to come back for the rest Of we'll be right. Back,
yeah there's a time for talking and there's a time for.
Shooting i'll give you the more on that story in
just a. Minute That paul called in out Of, RENO
i want to talk to. Him, Hey, paul you made

(22:31):
it on The Gun. Talk what's your thoughts on? This?

Speaker 5 (22:34):
Hey? Tom, Yeah i've been a member of that one
group you've been talking about for quite a, while and
you've got the take on the no. Compromise not quite,
right the. Compromises we're not going to take part the.
Compromises we're not going to give you this for. That
we're not going to give up part of a right
for you to, okay another part of the, right and
we know you're going to come back after that other one,

(22:55):
later and we're just not going to give up a.
Right no compromise Is that's HOW i understood. It and
it was explained to, me not that we're not going
to take anything we can get or we're not going
to give up something for. Something there are rights that
we want them.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
ALL i understand. That, yeah it makes. Sense it's just
not WHAT i understood having watched it for forty fifty.
Years particularly you, know GA is is the group it's
always done the no compromise, deal which IS i want
all or. Nothing AND i always thought that that's just
a pure fundraising. Deal and now you've got other groups
doing similar deals because they found it. Works, uh you.

(23:34):
Know and, look if you're, Saying i'm not going to
give up any of my rights for any of the, rights,
OKAY i got, that understand, that AND i would agree with.
That but if you're SAYING i want all of this
and if you don't give it all to, ME i
want Even and that's what we have seen through the,
years some of these groups, say, yeah we're not going
to sign on to that because we didn't get. Everything
we're going to have to force it to be, defeated

(23:56):
but we're going to get half of what we. Wanted, said,
yeah but that's all and a. Half so we're going
to defeat the billy going that's just stupid as far
As i'm, Concerned.

Speaker 5 (24:04):
Okay, okay, yeah fair. ENOUGH i haven't seen any any
legislation where they've rejected it because they didn't get all of,
it Although i'm sure it's.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
Happened yeah it. Has and you, know and if the
attitude is, okay we're not going to give up something
to get, something, Yeah i'm with you right, there because
we're not giving up. Anything we're not going to give
up an, inch BUT i will take it back an
inch at a time if that's how we have to get.
It and right NOW i feel like to, me with

(24:37):
the perspective of having done this for half a, century,
NOW i feel like we are really making, headway and
yet it's frustrating we can't get it, all and yet
the Ninth circuit drives us. Crazy but we're actually weird
enough winning some stuff in the Ninth, circuit which is
just the weirdest thing of. ALL i can't even imagine.
THAT i appreciate you, call, sir let's go Grab tony In,

(24:59):
Arizona tarry you made on The Gun. Talk what's on your? Mind, Sir.

Speaker 6 (25:03):
TOM i wanted to comment on this issue about gun
groups not getting, along AND i was one of the.
PEOPLE i actually sent you a question on post or
post ON x about this very, issue AND i got.
It first, OFF i am very leery about anything that
comes out Of Dudley brown's mouth and his organization BECAUSE

(25:24):
i remember The shenanigans he pulled a couple of years.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
Ago and let me just, explain that's The National association
For Gun. Rights That's Dudley. Brown and, YES i understand
exactly what you're.

Speaker 6 (25:33):
Saying SO i have no love for that person or that.
Organization AND i kind of thought over the last few
months maybe he had turned a, corner but apparently. Not
So my issue is This. Pam Is Pam bondy? Perfect?
No is she a hell of a lot better than the? Alternative?

(25:54):
ABSOLUTELY i support as a gun. OWNER i Support Pam
bondy and everything she's doing at.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
Our.

Speaker 6 (26:02):
Meat dylan is doing a fantastic job at what she's.
Doing And MARK. W smith from Four Box's diner actually
chimed in on that whole, issue and he's a great.
SOURCE i trust everything he. SAYS i, mean the guy's
fantastic on legal, issues SO i trust his analysis hell

(26:24):
of a lot more THAN i Would Dudley.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
Brown So, tony let me just say that people don't
know who you. Are i'm not going to call you,
out rat you, out but you have Been you have
worked in this space of gun rights organizations for a long,
time not just as a, volunteer but as a. Professional
SO i just want to let people know that you're

(26:45):
not just coming in looking up from the outside. In
you have been on the inside of this for, many many, years.

Speaker 6 (26:52):
Well a lot longer THAN i like to, Admit. Tom
but my point is, this gun owners pretty much fall
into two. Groups you have gun owners who are just
your typical you, know, shooters. Collectors they buy a gun for,
defense you, know whatever the case may. Be and then
you have those gun owners who are activists as. Well

(27:14):
they have great interest in the activism side of The
Second amendment And Second amendment, Issues and those are the
people who are the contributors to all these groups that
support all these groups, financially all, right and we're not
stupid when we see what the real game. Is you're
one hundred and to percent. Right this is about, Fundraising

(27:36):
this is about. Money follow the, money and this is
exactly what this. Is AND i gotta tell, you, know
a tiger just never changes its. Stripes And i'm totally
on board With pambondi And Harmy, dillon AND i hope
they keep doing the fantastic work they're.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
Doing A tony you should know, ALSO i have issued
multiple invitations To Hermik dillon to try to get her
on the radio show. HERE i don't know if she's too,
busy or if she doesn't want to do a gun
specific show or. Whatever i've gone through all the channels
THAT i, have so if anybody else has a way
to reach, her or if you want to just tag
her ON x and, say, hey why don't you do

(28:16):

Phone she can do it in the car while she's
driving from one appointment to. ANOTHER i would love to
have her on BECAUSE i think she is an absolute
superstar with what she's doing.

Speaker 6 (28:26):
Right NOW i completely agree with, you and you, know
AS i rarely quote a, felon But i'm going to
in this. Instant wouldn't it be nice if we could
just all get?

Speaker 3 (31:10):
Com you may have heard the phrase you got to
get your mind, right and that's WHAT i want to

(31:32):
talk to you. About the story in the news of
a good guy with a gun and somebody comes up
To robin and points a gun at. Him i'm not
gonna give out all the. DETAILS i don't want, him
don't want to call too much attention to the good.
Guy but the good guy pulls his gun. Out, now

(31:54):
remember this attacker Is Robert, mugger pointing gun, out and
somehow he is able to get his gun pulled. OUT
i don't know if he did a, distraction if the
attacker got distracted or. Whatever but then when the good
guy pulls his gun, out he tells the other guy
basically to drop the. Gun he starts talking to, him

(32:17):
at which point the bad guy shoots, him and then
the good guy shoots him and they both end up
getting shot a couple of. Times neither of them gets.
Killed let's. Review there's a time to, talk there's a
time to. Shoot and how do you know you make

(32:40):
up your mind now for an event that may happen
twenty years from. Now you go find online the video
Of Jack wilson in the church In. Texas when the
guy comes into the church with a, shotgun he's already

(33:01):
shot people, outside comes inside to start shotgunning the parishioners
And Jack wilson's part of the security, team volunteer security.
Team he's a guy with a. Pistol he's also a
very good guy with a. Pistol and when he watched the,
VIDEO i think it took something on the order of
about two. Seconds jack pulls this pistol, out turns, around

(33:26):
and the only shot he has is this guy's head
and he shoots this guy in the head in two
seconds maybe three on the, outside but under three. Seconds
didn't say drop the, gun didn't say hold it right,
there didn't, say, hey is that A bossburg five? Hundred,
no what did he? Do he shot the guy in

(33:49):
the head and killed him because the guy was in
the process of shooting. People time for talking's. OVER i
got a lesson on that at Gun sight a few years.
Ago we're doing a scenario and the way it was described, Is,
okay guy has come into an office building and he

(34:10):
shot two or three, people and there he is, there you, know,
basically and go So i'll get my gun, out And i'm,
saying right you there s trup the, gun drop the.
Gun i'm giving all these. Commands they're, going what are you?
Doing what do you mean he's already shot? People why
are you talking to? Him he didn't shoot this sob

(34:30):
or he's going to shoot other. People you're, right you
are so. Right AND i ain't got it wrong BECAUSE
i didn't have my head. RIGHT i hadn't thought it.
Through so here's what my thought process is on. That

(34:51):
and you, KNOW i killed a. Gun my deal is really.
Simple if you're not a cop and you point a
gun at, Me i'm going to shoot. You. Period, now
if you're just arrange in your casual with your, muscle,
OKAY im gonna tell, you, hey knock it. Off don't
do that. Again or the line THAT i like That
Rob latham used for a. Class he, said all, right

(35:11):
here's the deal about gun, safety. Guys he, says if
you point your gun at, ME i am going to
assume we're in a. Gunfight i'm going for. Mine and
he asked how it, Was Rob, Latham you're gonna. LOSE i,
mean it was kind of a funny, line but it
made the. Point but the reality is this you have
to decide, now not analyze in the middle of whatever's going.

(35:33):
On what are you gonna? Do you're gonna? Talk are
you gonna? Shoot if someone's pointing a gun at you
or someone you, loved are you going to tell, him,
hey don't do, that which is kind of the same
thing as when you, say, hey drop the. Gun you

(35:55):
have now told them you have enough. Time you the
bad guy has enough time to turn on and shoot
me or pull the trigger if you're already putting the
gun at. Me or you could draw your gun and shoot. Him,
well you don't know if you're fast enough to do. That. Huh,
well that is a solvable, problem isn't. It if you're

(36:18):
at all serious about this, stuff you need to own
a shot, timer and there are a lot of different
ways you can use. It you can certainly use it
at the range to time your, shots where the beat
goes off and you draw the, gun fire, shot and
it tests how long it. Took but there are ways
you can actually use it for dry practice. Too you

(36:38):
can set up a part time and, say, okay when
the beat goes off after two and a half seconds
or three seconds or whatever your number, is you get
a second, beep and with an empty, gun you can
practice your. Draw CAN i draw and get off a
shot on target with the sights on the target in
under three? Seconds? Now CAN i do it under two
and a half? Seconds? Now CAN i do it in two? Seconds?

(37:00):
Now CAN i do it in more and a half.
Seconds that's a very achievable. Goal the point being that
if someone is pointing a gun at, you you need
to get your gun out and on that person and
pull the trigger right. Away or you can Decide i'm
just not going to do anything right. Now you can

(37:21):
wait your turn because he may get, distracted he may
look at somebody, else he may do. Something he may
be rifling through a. Drawer that's the. Time so you
don't have to get slap leather with the guy who's
already pointing a gun at. You you may want to
waste your, time wait your. TURN i don't know what
that situation is going to be, in neither to, you

(37:42):
but you need to have gone through the scenario in your.
Head you need to be. Prepared, Okay i'm going to
watch the. Situation when the opportunity, COMES i will draw
my gun and. Shoot, think here's the. Deal if you
draw your gun on somebody who has a, gun and
that's your other. People once you are committed to the,

(38:03):
DRAW i think you're committed to pull the. Trigger. Now
if something happens in that interval between the time you
draw your gun and you pull the trigger that tells you,
okay the threat is no longer, there then maybe you
can come off of. It you don't have to pull the.

(38:24):
Trigger But i'm going to suggest that in the. Scenario,
look and there are a million, scenarios but in the
Scenario i'm talking, about bad guy's got a, gun pointing
it at, you pointing it at your, wife pointing at your, kids, if,
if and when you get to the point where you
Say i'm drawing my, gun, now draw quickly and shoot.

(38:48):
Immediately and oh, yeah by the, way when you're doing
your training and you're, practicing you're thinking about. It when
you shoot five shots all right where they need to? Be,
well what's are like? Medicine sometimes it takes them a
while to. Work i'll play a lot of them all.

Speaker 5 (39:12):
Right back with.

Speaker 3 (39:12):
You brian called in out Of, Pittsburgh pittsban And, BRIAN
i understand you got to take on The Pam bondy.

Speaker 11 (39:17):
Thing go for, It, YES i certainly. Do that guy
that called in first was obviously in the tank For
Pam blondy and the guy that runs The Four Boxes
diner YouTube. CHANNEL i Noticed key's in the tank For Pam,
bondy AND i think they're getting dazzled by the bleach

(39:39):
blonde hair and. Makeup most people forget That Pam, blondy
As Attorney general Of, florida very enthusiastically Prosecuted George, zimmerman and,
she on her, own is one hundred Percent Second. Amendment

(40:03):
she's not naturally one hundred percent pro. Gun she's In trump's,
cabinet And trump made his agenda, clear so she obviously
likes her job and she's Fulfilling trump's. Agenda but we
need to be very careful about so enthusiastically jumping on

(40:30):
The Pam bondi, bandwagon because that's how gun owners end
up shooting themselves in the.

Speaker 3 (40:37):
Foot, well you know, what and, look let me just jump.
IN i agree with you. COMPLETELY i MEAN i. Don't
i'm not saying they might ought to be on The
Pam bondie. BANDWAGON i don't trust her anymore THAN i
trust anybody else IN, dc AND i think that you're exactly.
RIGHT i think she is a Reluctant Second amendment. Supporter,

(40:57):
uh she's been wishy was she supported red flag, laws
AND i think she is being pulled into. This at
the same, TIME i would really really encourage you to
find out more about Har Meat. Dylon she's The Assistant
Attorney general in charge of civil. Rights Harmat dylan is
a Staunch Second amendment, advocate and she's doing a lot

(41:19):
of really good. Things so once, again we don't get
everything we. Want if we get half of what we
want and we keep inching toward all we, want that's
better than where we. WERE i, MEAN i look at
where we were With, biden where the gun band lobby
had an office inside The White. House that's not the case.
Anymore we're undoing. Things one piece of. Time Is PAM

(41:42):
bondi doing it. RELUCTANTLY i don't. Know DO i trust?
Her of, COURSE i don't trust, her not at. All
but at the same, Time i'm happy with some of
the things she's, done and then we can complain about
some of the others and see if we can't apply
pressure where it might have some, effect you. Know BUT
i really would encourage everybody to go take a. Look

(42:03):
Har Meat dylan is a name you should. Know, again
trying to get her on the show here so we
could have a conversation BECAUSE i think it'd be really
interesting She if you follow her over ON x you'll
see What i'm talking about and the things she's, doing
the cases she's, taking and when she's using the civil
rights hanging along. Things for, instance to go after the

(42:28):
sheriff IN la and, Say, okay you're not Issuing, cocee okay,
permits you're sitting on him and let it go for two.
Years that's a violation of the constitutional, rights aka the
civil rights of the constituents. There and, we The Justice,
department are going to come in and get this, fixed
even if it means we have to do a consent.
Decree and if you haven't lived in The, south you

(42:50):
may not know what that. Means those of us who
grew up under consent decrees take it over The education,
Department it basically means they can take, over they take
over the sheriff's. Department they can control a lot of.
Things and it is the thing that scares the devil
out of. Governments city, councils states sheriff's. Departments the idea

(43:12):
that they could be operating under a consent decree from
THE us. Government that scares. Them so that's hard. Meat
dylan a name you should know and get to. KNOW
i would encourage. That in the, meantime if you want
to join me, here it's eight sixty six talk. Gun
that'll get you in. Here there's more news on The
Second amendment. Front we'll talk a little bit more more
about this case that The Supreme court just agreed to.

(43:33):
Hear it's a big. One it may not be everything
we want once, again but it gets us a little
farther down the. Road and that's the thing we call.
