off my shirt. It was not because you said, I
(01:28):
looked at looked like lying to Richie before he went
pop what it was? It was because I was hot
in my student. I was just trying to figure out,
I said. I was like, I didn't mean to buy
to make it take the outfit off my No, it
was it's hot up in here, so I had to
heat on a little while ago myself to warm up
(01:49):
my part heat Wow wow, okay, well Alex to am
I overdoing it and then a little chili. Today it
is freezing. It is chris to drop below seventies. When
I was in Yeah, no, look you noticed when I
was in La I all I kept a car jacket
you had in the back seat in my car because
(02:11):
in the during the day it would be seventy five, nice,
nice and warm. And that night, man, what does it
get to forties? Maybe it's cold, it's worse. Yeah, but
you get caught out there, you will be freezing. So
I know it's probably as cold there. Um as you
guys get into the notice cole As Green Bay and
that quarterback house that for a track. Hey man, we
(02:34):
we we were gonna We're gonna get there quickly. Do
you have any any thoughts on this Monday night game.
It's Baltimore against New Orleans UM Baltimore five and three. Rod,
they can take uh control or I guess the lead
I should say in the AFC North UM Cincinnati five
(02:58):
and four with their impressive when yesterday over Carolina, where
was that the week before on that Thursday night or whatever,
Chris they turned you know, that's that stinker. Remember that
NAT is an up and down team, and they were
that way last year. And I know they got they
don't have Jamar Chase, but yesterday they look great. Joe
Mix and Rod five touchdowns. That's ridiculous, I know, but
(03:21):
they look good. We'll see. I mean obviously that they
at AFC is jumbled. No, this is a big game
for Baltimore. Yeah, I mean New Orleans is interesting. I
mean they you know, obviously they've got a lot of
injuries and their season. You know, they're not really going anywhere.
But my gosh, they beat up on the Raiders a
week ago. We'll get into the Raiders in the next hour. Yea, Yes,
(03:46):
they're absolutely horrendous. Sorry Rob G. But you know it's true.
UM beat them twenty four. Oh, so we'll see. I
mean Um, I expect Baltimore to win. Rob. I think
it'd be a bad loss for Baltimore if they lose
this game. Doesn't put them out or anything like that, obviously,
but you know, this is a game they should win
because if you really look at Baltimore season, Chris, let's
(04:08):
just be honest. They gave away two games this year. Yeah,
they're they're an odd team too. Yeah, you know it's
it's they need to come out and have a nice Chris.
I've been covering the NFL since nineteen eighty seven. First
started covering the NFL at the Daily News in New York.
(04:30):
I was doing Jets and Giants sidebars and you know,
training camp. I've been covering sleek. This is the craziest
year I've ever seen in the NFL. I can't make
rhyme or reason of performances and the way guys are
playing and the way teams are playing. I've never seen
an upheaval and reversal like we've seen this year. I'm
(04:55):
gonna blame some of some of it is not related
to this, like the Rams. I don't know what you
have you uh, explain the Rams right? They want to.
They're horrible they're horrible, horrible. Um but and then a
Tampa Bay. You know, they don't look great. They still alive,
but you can say age for them. But Rob, I
(05:18):
think this is my opinion. I don't I can't prove it.
I think the lack of practice is hurting the quality
of play. We've talked about the quality of play is
a little down, and it Rob, it just makes sense.
If you don't practice as much, you're not gonna be
as good. This's gotta be something because this doesn't make sense.
(05:42):
And speaking of that, Aaron Rodgers didn't hasn't played Chris
a preseason game the last couple of years. And I'm
always getting older, and I know there's a lot of
other things that go with this team, right, but that
might have been I've never seen him. That's the worst
game I've ever seen. I've ever seen three inner forget
the three two in the end zone Chris, right, that
(06:04):
was robbed the worst. And I haven't seen every game
he's played, but you know what, I yeah that I
that was the worst game he's ever played. And Rob,
we're talking about a guy that doesn't throw interceptions, not
at all. Chris last year five, he's got ten. I
(06:25):
don't know what it is. The number he's got seven
in nine games, Robbed. The last time he had seven
in an entire season sixteen games was two thy sixteen. Wow.
So and he's already got that up. So it was.
And those two, well, all three were bad. All three
interceptions were back and oh my god, both of them.
(06:48):
One he just threw into the line of scrimmage right,
and the second one it actually was a decent A
lot some people were ripping the play call, but back
tr was open and if Aaron just gets enough distance
on it, it's a touchdown. And um, it was five
feet short, five yards short of boxtr. And yeah, I
(07:12):
and Rob we both pick the Packers to get to
the Super Bowl. I think they're done. No, there are
Like I told you, what did I say before the game?
I told you if they lost to the Lions, they're done.
I don't I'm not saying that they can't finish ahead
of the Lions, who got two wins. Now, I would
(07:33):
expect that, right, right, But but to make the playoffs
and do anything, no, too many things have gone wrong.
And now one of the biggest problems. They had a
ton of problems, but now Aaron Rodgers is officially a problem.
He's a problem that you can't overlook. You can't play
that poorly. This is a guy's won two MVPs the
last two years. Chris. Everybody has bad games, but this
(07:57):
is as bad as I've never seen him play like this,
uh and not be able to execute and make things happen.
It's it's shocking to me. And I get the offensive line,
I get the young receivers, I get the injuries, Chris,
but that's not an excuse he has, but that this
is more than that. This is more than missing Devinte
(08:18):
Adams because we talked about it, you know, going into
the season entering this year, Rob, he was seven and
old without Yeah, no, no no, no, you know the last
few years his numbers were spectacular. This is more than that.
And Rob, he'll be thirty nine in December. And I
do think that because of Tom Brady we have it's
(08:44):
almost like we're expecting every great quarterback to play that long.
I don't think he's going to play that long. I
don't know, Rob, I don't know he looks. I mean,
like you said, this is the worst I've seen him. Look,
he's got career lows in yards per game and passer rating.
It's just a bad situation. We talked about the interceptions,
(09:06):
but Rob, remember Peyton Manning, and Peyton Manning was the
same age as Rogers right now. In twenty fourteen, Rob,
Peyton Manning was great through for almost five thousand yards. Remember,
nine touchdowns, fifteen interceptions. The next season he was so bad.
(09:27):
Remember he got benched for Brock. Wasn't the Brock Oswald?
I think it was Oswalder. Yeah, nine touchdowns and seventeen picks. Rob.
It goes quickly, and I'm gonna say this, Rob, and
it we can discuss it because there's a lot of
tentacles to it. If I'm the Packers, I'm trying to
(09:50):
trade Aaron Rodgers. I'm trying to trade him this offseason
because I even if he isn't like walk, I don't
think they I think their super Bowl window is closed
and they haven't won it in a decade when he
(10:10):
was playing his best. I certainly don't think they're gonna
win it now that he's, at least right now, looks
like a shell of himself. And so look, what can
you get from him for him? I don't know. You know.
I mean, he's making fifty million dollars a year. I
would think Rob that a team that's closed, there's a
market form. There's no doubt I would think. I mean
(10:32):
the money. I don't know, does that complicate things? I know,
if they trade him after June first, the dead cap
hit isn't as bad. It's like fifteen million and twenty
four or vice versa, so it wouldn't be as bad
for green Bay. But Robbief, I don't know. San Francisco,
I don't know. They don't have the picks and stuff.
But Atlanta, right, that looks pretty good if they just
(10:53):
had a quarterback. The Giants, you know, I'm sure Brian
Dayball thinks he could really do some things. When Aaron Rodgers,
I don't know, Washington, Um, you know, any of these
teams Robed that are pretty good, but if they got
the right quarterback might be able to go to another level.
(11:16):
New Orleans I think I would think Rob. They would
be interested Indianapolis in uh In and Aaron Rodgers. No,
there would be blending SPI space, There's no doubt about it.
If you could get Peyton Manning with a fuse back, Chris,
you know what I mean, like, seriously, when they when
they got de I mean he was still fair not young,
(11:37):
but you know, I'm like, yeah, but but but the younger.
But he had to overcome you know what I mean,
he had the injury. Where you are you with me there?
I'm not there. Do you think he can turn it around? Yeah?
If everything it would. I think if I looked at
it and I'm he's played poorly. I'm not even sitting
(11:58):
here trying to trying to make you to believe anything else. Okay,
he's played poorly. But if everything was kind of in
place and he was playing like this, then I would
be I'd definitely be like, Okay, now we got to
move them. The scary part is some other team is
looking going, you know, if we have we have a
(12:20):
long threat, right, which will allow right, Okay, you need
because Chris, when you don't, when they know you don't
have anybody down field, they can cheat, right, So they
get to Aaron Rodgers, they can attack them. And that's
the problem. Okay, So that's part of it. Offensive line
is not healthy and these are not excuses. These are
(12:41):
what I'm saying. Other teams could look at and say,
we got a good offensive line. We have a long
a receiver with that kind of giddy up you know,
that can run down the field. I would love him
in Tennessee. But they don't have that receiver. Yeah, you
know that's the thing, and the Jordan Love thing. I
just yeah, you're three and six this year. You might
(13:02):
be owing six next year with Jordan Love. You would
have to make me feel like because Green Bay, and
you know this, they're not trying to be all the
way all the way right there there relevant yes, and
I don't. They don't have anything else. That's what green
Bay is all about, you know what I mean. There's
(13:24):
no like well, we'll worry about the Brewers and and
check back with the package in four years. No, right, right,
But I I just and I hear you because I agree.
If I if I was one of these teams that
was close but only had a mediocre quarterback, I'd be
looking at Aaron Rodgers. Of course you will. Well, Um,
so I don't. I don't think he's completely washed. I
(13:46):
think he's declined something. Um And I just think, right,
I just don't think green Bay is good enough rob
to win it. I got Aaron Rodgers and I'm paying
him fifty million. I want to be I want to
have a legitimate chance to win the Super Bowl. So
I just think maybe you go get some young draft
picks tooring and go from there. I mean, maybe you know,
(14:08):
some people are saying play Jordan Love at some point.
I mean, I only obviously, I'm only doing that if
I'm trading Aaron Rodgers, right, That's the only way that
he's getting so and I don't I mean, I think
they know, you know, I don't know that they could
get a top pick to get a Bryce Young or c. J.
(14:29):
Stroud or the kid from Kentucky, Will Levice. But I
think they know enough about Jordan Love to know that
he's not stopping them from picking one of those guys
if they were to get you know, I totally agree
they know what he is Chris, because yeah, I think
if he was something special, they had a chance during
that draft to trade Aaron Rodgers and get all those picks.
(14:50):
You remember that when Denver wanted them. I mean that
that was it right there. If they if they knew
they had their guy, I believe they would have moved
down Rodgers right then and there. Remember everybody thought it
was a done deal. Remember slay Rith thought it was
like the format on the goal line, and Rob, I
don't think this. I mean, I don't know how Rogers
would feel. Maybe, you know, you would presume he wants
(15:12):
to stick his finish his career in Green Bay. But
I don't look at it as like a negged like,
you know, if you can send him somewhere where he's
got a legitimate shot, that might. I don't think it's
a bad thing for you and Rogers. Well, but and
we talk about this all the time. If he were
to stick around Chris his whole career, he would be
(15:32):
the anomaly because all these quarterbacks Brady went somewhere else,
BArch Star, Jodan Naymoth, Montana, everybody pay Manny who didn't
A lot of the great ones Dan Marino play Dan
Marino right right? A lot of them did. So. Yeah,
it's no shame one am I thinking about not Marino
(15:55):
Rash Marino didn't. Don't are the only ones, right? I'm sorry?
It might be another one here there, but yeah, those
two come to mind. But we'll see. Let's start out
to the listeners eight seven to seven ninety nine on
Fox eight seven, seven nine, nine, six sixty three sixty nine.
I'm saying it's time for the Packers to look to
trading into trading Aaron Rodgers. What say you? You can

How are you those Dolphins? You're just loving it looking
at it, you just feel like you've got those muscles
you just flexed out. I mean, you're ripping on Rob
Parker because I can't stand your dolphins. Right. No, No,
I'm going to rip you for suggesting that Dan Marino
(17:45):
play for somebody else. I'm I know, go ahead, I'm sorry,
by the by the way, and Kelly never played for
nobody else. Wait a minute, Roban I said, Kelly he
played fell right, right, But I'm saying once he got
to the Bills, he never played for anybody else, right,
(18:05):
And Rob, I think you got confused. Um Bart started
with Johnny United, bar start. Never played for anybody else,
john from Johnny Uniteds from the Colts, Chris, who was
a legend you know that, right? Yeah? Like for the Chargers. Chargers, Chris,
I'm one hundred percent with you. It's time to trade
(18:25):
Alan Rodgers and I'm gonna throw you a couple of
a couple of teams in the NFC and two in
the AFC. Robs, how about the team that's gonna finish
the two top ten picks, because remember they have the
Rams pick the team that you covered for many years.
How about it they to the Detroit Lions with their
two number one picks, and then I'm thinking either either
the Giants or the forty nine ers. But as far
(18:47):
as the AFC, I don't think the Lions have enough.
The Rangers go really close. I think the John I
think the Giants are more rant. Right, I agree, I
think the Giant go ahead finished. No, I'm just gonna say,
how about the Raiders in the AFC, and that and
(19:07):
the mystery team in the AFC. Remember that little flight
here that Rogers threw this offseason, how he loved Mike Tomlin.
How about the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yeah, that's interesting, I mean
because you could play Rogers and half Picket learned under him.
Um so I don't mind. I think that's a good one. Uh.
The Raiders, of course did they just didn't. They just
(19:28):
give Derek Carr another extension or something like that, so
they got they'd have to trade in car for sure.
But yeah, you gotta trade Derek Carr first. And if
I'm the Packers, I'm not interested in a swap, right,
I don't want Derek Carr from the Packers, so interesting.
All right, We got uh More NFL to talk about
(19:51):
Josh Allen, who's been great oftentimes and very poor oftentimes.
Seems like he's back on the roller co So we'll

Get on the mic for a minute. Rob Parker, lebron
foot injury. I don't know, and this is what I
want to ask, Rob G. Is there any reporting out
there having been able to check about this, like that
it is a real I know it's not serious, but
that it's a legitimate injury. Or is this more looking
(20:56):
like rest No, he's been dealing with it for about
a week and a half now, and he's been on
the injury report, you know, for seven to ten days
or so, and then in their victory one of the
few over the weekend, he sprained the ankle that's on
the same foot. So he's been dealing with it for
a couple of days now. For sure, you worried about
(21:17):
this because we've talked about it before. Three of the
last four years that he's been in LA, he's obviously
had a serious injury, and the one year he got
through it, they had the four month break with the pandemic. No,
I'm not worried about the injury. I'm worried that he
can't shoot. I'm more worried about that. Like the last
week or so, he's like one. You think he's like
(21:38):
three for twenty outside the paint or something like that.
He's been really bad. It's going on with that, Rob G.
You are going through sports fan, Hell yeah, I am,
Thank you Lakers, the Raiders. I mean, he would have
to talk him off a ledge. It's seriously, it's really bad.
You know, it's bad when the only team I root
for that's any good is UCLA Football, Like, who did
(22:00):
you ever think you and you've been and you've been
waiting thirty years for that, exactly right, right, exactly you do?
All right? Um, well, hopefully Lebron will be black. I
mean they they their season. I mean they're not gonna
be any good anyway. And that's where to talk Rob
about Trey and Anthony Davis? Uh has come up? What
(22:20):
are your thoughts on that? If if they can make
a move, like I'm with you when I look at
this team, Chris, you can move up uh Westbrook to
the bench and you could say, oh, look how well
he's playing off the bed. They can't win. They can't win.
(22:40):
That's if you're the Lakers. I think the answers no
and Rob G can hop on here too. Since you're
a big Laker fan, Yes, jump in, would you? Now
you'd have to give up more? But Kyrie for a
d and the Nets would have to give up more.
Uh what about Kyrie and Ben Simmons for Anthony Davis?
(23:08):
I mean, I know financially that doesn't work. You have
to throw something in from the Lakers side, Rob G.
Does that interest No, I'm trading Lebron before I trade
Anthony Davis. That's fair. Yes, just his age. The age
alone is the biggest thing. I mean, I know that.
You know you mentioned Lebron's injury, which even though I'm
not worried about, he is nearing forty, and yeah, he
(23:31):
may get hurt and and also but the ad is
not reliable. Well yeah, but even if you just watch
the last you know week or you know, two weeks
of the season, that, um, if Lebron can't play bullieball,
he's highly ineffective. You know, like that's just the way
it is. He's not He's never been a great shooter. Um,
as he ages, his legs get a little heavier, so
(23:54):
and he doesn't play defense. And Anthony Davis, even with
the even with the bad's been playing great. Yeah, even
with the bad back is was anchoring what had been
a top three defense in the NBA with no other
defenders on that roster. So Anthony Davis, the upside with
him is so much higher. And he's younger and he's cheaper,
so I would rather he might be delivering door dash again.
(24:17):
You know, by Christmas, y'all better keep him that can shoot.
He's the only dude on the Lakers that can shoot
better than me. Oh wow, that's saying that's saying nothing.
But no, I mean, yeah, they are shooting is atrocious
and this is a shooters league. It just is nowadays,
(24:39):
which I don't I'm not saying that's the greatest thing
for the game, but right now, that's what it is.
It's about making threes. They'd be like playing in the
nineties without having a decent big man. Yeah yeah, Like
you need so many other things to go right if
you're gonna be competitive without a good big man in
that era with Robinson Shack Akin, I mean you had
(25:00):
to have Georgia exactly exactly and then this this area
you need to be able to shoot, and the Lakers
can't do that. Yeah, yea, So we will see. But
it's um, it's it's an interesting situation that's not Would
you trade Lebron before a d rob Yeah, I would.
I think uh. I think rob G's right, like Lebron
(25:22):
is as not putting up numbers. What bothered us a
year ago, and I think I speak for you, is
that he was averaging thirty points, but he didn't affect
winning last year, like right, Like that's the scary part, right,
numbers were good. If you just if you just looked
at the numbers and that's it, you'd be like, man,
it's unbelievable, you think, But they didn't didn't win as
(25:44):
well as ever um. And look, that's not really a
slight on Lebron because there are a lot of guys
in their prime that are all stars, pretty all stars,
Bradley Beale or whatever that put up came numbers but
don't impact winning. That's one of the things that separates,
you know, the all time greats, Rob the Jordan's, the Durants,
(26:06):
the Lebrons, the staff, so on and so forth, is
that they put up numbers and win as the number
one guy. But Lebron's out of that phase of his career.
It just is. And Rob, we've seen international players say it,
and I agree. I think you agree too. It's easier
to score in today's NBA, and it's easier to rebound too,
(26:28):
because you got a lot of long rebounds because of
the long outside jump shots and so guards. That's why
you see these guys toying with the triple doubles because
it's easy coming out to them. They're not crashing the boards,
robbing boards. Chris Right like you used to the fight
for boards. Yeah, they're not gonna a man, are you kidding?
(26:51):
I'd be making forty million dollars now right right? So, Um,
we'll see. But the Lakers, man, it's going south in
a hurry. Um, and so will I. I don't think
they'll trade Lebron. I mean, if he wanted to be traded,
I would be fine with it. But I mean, and
(27:11):
I'm this isn't how the Lakers should operate. The Lakers
should do what's best for them. But for me, I mean,
I'd like to see a guy that's been that great
go out on his own terms, you know what I mean,
go where he wants to. But if you're the Lakers,
you gotta do what's best for the team, no doubt.
If somebody's willing to trade for him, you know you
gotta look at it. Chris, I just saw a score.
(27:32):
I want Steve to saga real quick. Are you there
or is he doing something? Is he busy? What's up? Okay,
James Madison today? Chris? Did you see the score? James Madison?
B Valley Forge? Are you ready for the score? One
(27:53):
twenty three to thirty eight? Why are they playing? Levels?
Are though James Madison's Division one. Yeah, I don't Valley
forwards that Division three. I don't What is that? I mean,
it might be that big of a difference to lose
that badly, I hope. So what was the spread in
this game? Ninety? If you can find that out, that's ridiculous.
(28:17):
What ray to thirty eight? I've never seen a I
would think that's a Division one team against a Division
three or Naia or something like that. That that can't be.
Hopefully they're about both Division one Valley forwards. You better
get your recruiting game up. If that's the case, My goodness.
I hope they're not in the same conference. No, no
they're not. But we'll get that answer for your next

Intimate Pubic Care trimmer Man. I wish they had this
years ago. Man, this is a great thing, A gentle
and easy shave from America's number one trust in men's
(29:25):
grooming brand. Show your pubic regions some respect with Gillette Intimate,
the best a man can get. You don't say all right,
it is time for sources say a condensed version, a
short version of sources say check check check. Sources say
(29:47):
these two have been covering sports for nearly three decades, apiece,
I will say this, let's put the big jan journalists
to the test. Its sources say, that's right, it is.
Sources say the segment will be p that Christ and
Rob guts zero sources in the world of sports these days.
It's why the best we're going fifty percent from the
field they play this game. But let's get to it
(30:09):
story number one. Let's figure out what kind of journalists
y'all really are. Rob Parker, My sources say that Jaqueen Griffin,
former NFL defensive back played with the Seahawks, has just
announced that he signed on to be in the season
four edition of Love Is Blind on Netflix, a show
(30:29):
where you meet and fall in love with people that
you'd never see Robin. Source is good. I mean, this
is just a crapshoot. I'm gonna say yes. Um, I'm
gonna say false. You sit on a throne of lies.
So was this somebody else? No, it's just a goodass show.
(30:51):
And I'd like to see him where you go. I
think you guy should watch it. How'd you get Shaki?
Because I'm on the website in his name is on
the headlines. Yet I don't think you know too much
about what your queen Griffin's doing. Um, all right, here
we go. Story number two. My sources say that Senator
Ted Cruz, who rumor has it made run for president,
was hit by a beer can at the Astros Jackmanship
(31:13):
parade over the weekend by a fan. Chris. My source
is good because nowadays, nowadays, you know that can really
get you in trouble. Um, but you're saying I'm gonna
say false, I'm gonna say false. I'm gonna say true.
(31:35):
Oh wow, So what did anything happen to the fan? Uh?
They're looking for him as for any of this report,
So actually no, as I've updated here in the last
couple of hours, he was arrested. Yeah, that what he
was throwing the can or throwing or wasting a full cannaby. Sorry,
I don't know. Are all right? Here we go? Question
(31:59):
number three all tied up. My sources say that former
NBA guard Ben Gordon was arrested for allegedly punching a
security guard out of McDonald's in Chicago. Rob source is good,
sounds so ridiculous. I'm gonna say true. He was arrested
for something. I can't remember exactly what it was. I'm
gonna say true. Oh, really, good on you, Chris. He's
(32:20):
been arrested twice something. Maybe it was the other last month. Yes,
that is the other one was for punching his ten
year old son at an airport. Both of them for
punching people. Yes, one of them was security guard. One
of them was. So they saw they saw him punch
his kid, and they and the police stepped in, yes,
while other people stepped in first. Then they called the security.
(32:42):
They had that back when I was coming up, Chris,
Chris said he would be six foot tall. I never
got punched. We got whipped, though, we got whooped. I
remember when I saw the Ben Gordon headline about the
McDonald's thing. I thought it was kind of far fetch
until I remember that Rob Parker did the same thing
at Alpo Loco. I was there, all right, one somebody
(33:02):
he did. He found out the drinks were ten cents more,
and he punched the guy on the way under the
body man, punched them right in the chest. I see,
Rob's a lover, not a fighters. You can say not
when it comes to his his gilette commercial. I'm not
paying for a drink, all right. Last one, My sources
say that giants say the Xavier McKinney. McKinney was injured
(33:25):
in an ATV accident in Cabo during the bye week
and now he's out several weeks. Chris, and my source
is good false true. Oh yeah, I was like to soon, yeah,
make that up. What were you listening to so out
(33:48):
of your ear
