(01:17):
We got Tyson's Tower of Trivia at the bottom of
the hours, the Miami Dolphins edition. That is always fun.
But before we go there, we're gonna get to some
NBA and Rob. Yesterday we discussed Shacks contention that Steph
Curry was in the Goat Conversation, and you and I,

(01:40):
you know, disagreed vehemently, as did many people. But I
was looking on social media at some of the comments under.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Our clips, and.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
There were and I didn't read a ton, but I
did read the few that I read. The majority of
them thought, you know, he could be in the conversation.
Now some were saying if he's in the top ten,
he's in the conversation, and so on and so forth,
and that didn't swaye me.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
There's no way Steph is in the Goat conversation.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
What I would say is this, though, Rob, if we're
talking about a Mount Rushmore of NBA players all time.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Not the best four.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
My top four is Jordan lebron Kareem Magic. But if
we're just talking about most influential, most impactful, I think
there's an argument for that that.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Steph would be on the Mount Rushmore.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
A certainly a better argument for the mount rushmore than
the goat.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Do you want to hear who I think could be
a four? And it was just tough. But I think,
and this is strictly in past the best players, but.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
I think Bill Russell obviously just for his individual his
dominance eleven rings in thirteen years when it as a
player coach. You know what he did at the beginning
kind of NBA basketball at least integrated NBA basketball. And
then I thought about Doctor j for bringing that style

(03:25):
of play to kind of quote unquote mainstream basketball with
the ABA and then the NBA. But at that time
when Doc those four years or so when he was
in the league before Magic and Bird came in, he
you know, they were still on tape delay. So Magic
and Bird come in, and you'd really want both of

(03:48):
them on because they did save the league. But if
I think I can only have one, so I'd have
to go Magic because I think he gave you pretty
much everything Bird did, and one more. And then Jordan
just because he's the best ever and he was really

(04:09):
that perfect mix of incredibly athletic player with an incredibly
smart and fundamentally sound player, and obviously his dominance showed
because of it.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
And then I think Steph.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
When you talk about because Steph changed, has changed the
game the way nobody says Jordan has changed the actual
way basketball is played more than Steph Curry. So I
think that could be there's an argument for those for
Russell Magic.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Jordan. He changed the way the game is viewed and played. Two.
And then Steph.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
I think when people talk about Steph changing the game,
I think you gotta ask yourself. Was just changed for
the better of the NBA? And I'm not so sure
of that. That's the part where I think if you
talk to people, you know, do you like this NBA?

Speaker 3 (05:09):
People?

Speaker 4 (05:09):
And at one point gotten ridiculous where everybody's chucking up threes,
even guys really weren't even three point shooters, because this
is what Steph was shooting at the half court and
at the logo and all that, and people just started
to put it up like that, And I don't know.
I I think that he's changed the NBA. This is

(05:32):
more the way that they played in Europe, and Steph,
no doubt about it. Making those shots made people take
another look at making threes and the difference from the
game that we've been like, like, I just and I
was there in Detroit when Darko was drafted, so I
just have a perspective from that.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
And he was roundly criticized that he was playing in
the perimeter, could shoot threes.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
The guy was almost seven foot talkers, and he was
ridiculed by Larry Brown.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
They just like.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
Like, like, dude, you know, if you're not gonna get
down to pay, you're not gonna do that.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Like really, like if real.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Jackson was similar with Christapsporzingers, he played anymore because they
weren't as good.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
But you know what I mean, they didn't, right, they
did not. They did not like that style of play.
Despite that's how they play in Europe. And now you
see all the threes and all the stuff that goes on.
So now we're kind of there. But I but I
don't know. I think the NBA has changed, for sure, Chris,

(06:38):
But I'm not sure for the better.

Speaker 5 (06:40):
I'm sure, I'm not sure. I really like this style.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
Of basketball where almost everything is the perimeter, everything's along three.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
It's either or.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
At one point and they'd gotten so bad, everything was
a dunk or right, it was either a dunk or
the Basketball Star game. Yeah, but or or you know,
the mid range game. Even though there's some great mid
range players, not a lot use it. So I'm gonna say, yeah,
he changed the game, but I'm gonna say he changed
it for the worst. So is that the reason to

(07:13):
put him on Mount Rushmore?

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Is that that?

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Would you I'll answer your question, but would you first?
Would you agree?

Speaker 3 (07:22):
And again it's not the best for but impactful.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
I think you can argue, Doctor J. You can argue
you gotta have Bird and Magic on there. I don't
think Lebron has changed the game like obviously, like step
you know what I mean, like Kobe, Lebron shock players
who you know people might put ahead of Steph. Obviously Will,
you can't have Will and Russell on and Russell just

(07:50):
won way more.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Would you agree with me?

Speaker 4 (07:54):
So you want to say, so you don't have you
don't have Will Chamberlain despite them changing the way the
rules for him.

Speaker 5 (08:01):
I think he has to be on there.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
I mean, I think I could only have him or
Russell if you want to put him on instead of Russell.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
But I'm the other people in the past about this,
and I think doctor J. Rob, I think there's a
legitimate argument for doctor j But I say, when you
got four, I mean, obviously you gotta make tough decisions.
I'm just doing Russell over Will. I can't put Russell
L and Will.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Just like I can't put Magic and Bird, but leave
too many other people off right.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
But they did change the rules, Yeah, they did.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
That's why I think it's hard not to have Will
Chamberlain on that because he did. He changed the way
that the game that was played because of his dominance
that they had to they had to neutralize him.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
I think that.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
You talked about Steph changing the game, but probably for
the worst. I don't blame that on Steph because he
doesn't play a style that's reckless. He's a great three
point shooter, so when he shoots threes, it's fine, it's
what you want.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
And he does shoot mid range. He doesn't do it
as much now as he used to, but he's very
obviously a great mid range.

Speaker 5 (09:17):
He's taken now because I know you had brought this
up before.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
He also scored a lot going to the hoop. But
here's where I would push back.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
And I'm looking up Steph's three point attempts now, But yeah,
where I would push back on you, Rob is so right.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Now, Steph is averaging twenty eight points a game. He's
taken nineteen shots or eighteen point nine shots a game,
Eleven point six of them are three wow, So basically
two thirds of his shots or threes. Lucas second in
the league and score now Lucas taking twenty three shots
a game, but he's ten of them are threes, so

(09:55):
that's not quite half of his. Darren Fox twenty one
point eight shots, eight of them are threes.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
I'm looking for.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Guys who's half Steph looks like the only one like
in the of the top scores.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
Who would who's half of his shots are three pointers?

Speaker 6 (10:12):
Right?

Speaker 3 (10:13):
But what I would say is this, Rob.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Because I don't you know you you you might be
right that the game and not even just at the
NBA level, but just overall, maybe it's changed for the
worst because of Steph. But I don't blame him for that.
And the reason I say that is because look at
we know with Michael Jordan the game. Jordan changed the game.
And here's how I say he changed the game. Before

(10:38):
Michael Jordan came in, Rob, it wasn't all about athleticism
what we consider athleticism now, you know, cal high can
you jump?

Speaker 3 (10:48):
How quick and fast are you?

Speaker 1 (10:50):
But because think about the best players before Jordan, Bill Russell,
Wilt Chamberlain, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Yes, Doctor j was incredibly athletic, but he didn't win
like a lot of these guys Larry Bird, Magic, Johnson
Kareem like they did it. They had size, they had,
but skills like Magic and Bird skills to go with
their size, Oscar skills. Jordan came in and you remember
this route like for the next twenty or thirty years,

(11:24):
you know, during the Jordan era and beyond, it kind
of became all about athleticism, like how high can you jump,
how long are you?

Speaker 3 (11:33):
How quick and fast are you?

Speaker 1 (11:36):
And you had guys like stro Miles Swift and other
guys getting drafted near the top of the draft who
had no skills. They were just long and athletic and
rangey and all of that. And I actually think that's
part of why America fell. I don't want to say
behind the world, but the world was still focusing on skills,

(12:00):
and our guys were just running and jumping in athletic
and one on one and handle because Jordan, again one
on one greatness, so it became ice so heavy, and
so I think that's because now I think that was
a change for the worst, that was based on Jordan,
But it wasn't Jordan's fault because Jordan was smart, Jordan

(12:21):
was fundamentally sound. Jordan wasn't just athleticism, but that's what
people were drawn to.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
Oh my gosh, he's flying through the air, dunking on people.
Let me do that. Let me get guys that can
do that. Same with Steph.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Steph is a great pastor, Steph is a great ball handler.
Steph works hard defensively, even though he's not a great defender.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
He's a very good rebounder for his size.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
But what people are drawn to are the threes, the
thirty footers and all that.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
And so I agree with you it's probably changed for
the worst.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
But I don't hold that against Steph, just like I
don't hold it against Jordan.

Speaker 5 (12:55):
Okay eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox A.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Seven seven in nine nine six sixty three sixty nine.
What do you think is Steph on the mount rushmore
not best four players, but most impactful four players of
all time? And do you think has been a change
for the good for the bad and do you blame
him either way?

Speaker 3 (13:19):

On Fox, your thought on Steph as a mount Rushmore guy.
Not four best players ever, but foremost impactful your thoughts.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
All right, let's kick it off with Dre and Michigan.
You're on the couple Fox sporituating.

Speaker 9 (14:45):
What up dra my two dudes? What's going on? Fellas Buddy,
I'm good, I'm good. Hey, Chris Man, don't never let
nobody tell you don't know nothing about music.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
Man.

Speaker 9 (14:55):
I was listening to that cooking soda. Alie Tyson put
on another last couple weeks ago. No, my man from
here a wool Tang affiliated. That's a whole wou Tang
Christmas album.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Man, he's affiliated with Wu Tang the DJ or.

Speaker 9 (15:07):
Who it's a Wu Tang Christmas album. Dude, was real, soul.
I had to tell you that. Yeah, I appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
I'm gonna go get more of it.

Speaker 9 (15:17):
Then, I'm telling you, man, dude, I'll let you find
out for yourself. But yeah, I definitely put a step
on that. No doubt he is like Connic. It's not
his faught of everybody trying to imitate him, like you said,
just like when everybody was trying to imitate Jordan. Remember
they thought Harold Miner was going to be the.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
Next baby Jordan.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
I remember Harold mine it was about six next Jordan's
pan out right.

Speaker 9 (15:40):
But for my Mount Rushmore and I can only do
it for my geny generation because I'd be disingenuous if
I was to say, well, let me ask.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
You this though, is it your four best players.

Speaker 9 (15:50):
Or no, no impactful? And I'm want to say Jordan one.
I put Alan Irison up there too, because he brought
the whole hip hop tattoo and corn rows to the game.
I got Steph and then I got shocked because if
you remember when Shaq came, that's when people start used
to carry carry third sentience just so they can have
eighteen files to throw at them.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
For your for your generation, I mean, Rob, I think
that's fair. I mean you can argue some of the points,
but just for that time period, I think that's fair.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
I mean, iverson is cultural impact was in.

Speaker 4 (16:23):
Chris when when Alan showed up with the tattoos and
all that, the only guys who were covered in tattoos.

Speaker 5 (16:29):
Were like biker guys, like like.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (16:33):
It was that that wasn't a black thing at all.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
I mean, that's a great point. That was like biker guys,
and he was the first. Some people think it was
the trail Spree.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Well I think Iverson was the first iver saw where
corn rows in an NBA game.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
I think you're right.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
Yeah, Andre in Massachusetts, you're in the couple of Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
What up, Drake and how you doing?

Speaker 10 (16:58):
Thanks for taking the call.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
He had a shout out about you earlier.

Speaker 10 (17:03):
I didn't. I was repping today, so I didn't.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
Yeah, somebody just mentioned you. I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
I just was a no because I hear him calling
in other shows one of the shows you call in
the New York or National.

Speaker 10 (17:18):
I tried to if it's you know, because first of all,
I respect what's going on with what you guys do?

Speaker 3 (17:22):
You know?

Speaker 10 (17:23):
So anytime I have an opportunity so on Fox, you know,
I'm up late, particularly when I'm not in school, so
I'll call Ben Mallor and then, uh, you know, if
I'm listening to Is Penn in the afternoon, I'll check
in with those guys.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
What one other show? What's the other showing? Okay, go ahead,
I forget it.

Speaker 10 (17:40):
Shout up to Freddie and Coleman. But to your point, yes,
Steph Curry. Steph Curry changed the dimensions of the game
in terms of his impact. When he was a young guy,
people ridiculed him, said he had a catapult shot, his
style of play would never work. You always heard that
narrative that jump shot and jump shooting teams can't win
NBA championships, and Steph Curry completely changed that. So so
he's up there with the guys, with the Doctor Jays

(18:03):
of the world. They've bann dunking in the game of
basketball because of him attacking the basket. Kareem abdul Jabbar.
In terms of the skyhawk, you go back to Wilt
Chamberlain three seconds, so those Steph Curry just the theory
of basketball. Such a shot making.

Speaker 3 (18:18):
So Steph, Kareem Russell and Will or what's your four?

Speaker 10 (18:23):
I say, Russell with defense, Will with the three seconds,
just dominating in the paint, Kareem with a shot that
nobody could block, all time leading score. You know you
just uh and then step with the ree ball making
the games.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Doctor old it was only four o Mount Rushmore, and
we didn't ask you for to give us a dissertation
on who's changed basketball.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
We want four.

Speaker 10 (18:50):
Okay, so we're gonna have to get rid of Kareem
and what we'll stay for our offensive firepower Doctor jacksons,
So will that's that's no.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
Jordan's how are you? How about there?

Speaker 4 (19:05):
And how come look Lebron Actually Lebron had no impact
all they played forty years, no impact to the NBA.

Speaker 10 (19:11):
Michael Jordan. My feeling, Michael Jordan's explosiveness was the genus
of what Doctor j and what David Thompson had already
brought into the game in the seventies in terms.

Speaker 3 (19:23):
Of well, he brought it to another level.

Speaker 5 (19:25):
I'll give you that, all right, all right, appreciate that, Drake, Thank.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
You, magic bird. One of them has to be on it. Rob,
I hear you. Well, took their faces like half you
know what I mean, face together and make one face,
all right.

Speaker 5 (19:41):
Paul Paul in Miami on the odd couple of Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 11 (19:45):
What's up, Paul, Rob Parker and Chris Brussar Man, I'm
talking to some goats myself, Yes, my.

Speaker 4 (19:52):
Man, bro, Yeah, appreciate. We try to do that as
often as we can.

Speaker 11 (19:58):
He few a sports fans y'all. You guys are up there, man.
Uh So for me, it's it's Russell. Uh for obvious
reasons not to mention. There ain't one player that anyone
else can mention that could do a player coach. Okay,

(20:19):
so let's let's let's let's keep that. That's a mount rushmore. Right,
Let's go Will because the dominance. Let's go Jordan's. And
then I know I'm cheating, but you got to put
Magic and Bird as for a four b Okay.

Speaker 9 (20:34):
Uh well, you know, so I.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
Get wanting to kind of make them both in the
one face or one point.

Speaker 5 (20:43):
I get that, but you got to pick one.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Yeah, and so nobody after Jordan's No, no, no, that's
what I was saying.

Speaker 11 (20:56):
No, listen, I'm forty one years old, right, I ain't
he's super old, but I ain't a jit either Russell
for the reasons I said, who the heck could be
a player coach and take all every well.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Not even Russell could be a player coach today. It
was a different time.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
You had a few player coaches, so he's not the
only one. But it was just different, Rob, you know that.

Speaker 5 (21:20):
I mean, yeah, it's different.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
Guys with player coaches.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
I think, Dave, there's other ones, but I'll figure it
out who some of them were, all right, Ty's Tower
of Trivia is around the corner.

Speaker 5 (22:26):
Never, it would never happen, you know, I'm too humble for.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Hold on.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
Rob is never tooting his own. Okay, so humble, I
think we have a drop, Rob uh beg Rob to
give himself some props.

Speaker 12 (22:43):
If you get into another Hall of Famer, you get
a new hob. This is three time Hall of Famer.

Speaker 5 (22:47):
Oh yeah, I'd have to update. How about four?

Speaker 3 (22:49):
Do I have to change it again?

Speaker 2 (22:51):
Yes?

Speaker 13 (22:51):
Okay, Well Rob, you know applying I haven't applied to
do stop stop stop all right, guys this week don't
have thought for the Hall of Fame people. You don't
apply for the Hall of Fame and they don't put
you in just because you apply.

Speaker 12 (23:04):
How it is the Dolphins theme edition flip According to
the update Christmas Sorgus question number one. You know the rules,
Let's get right to it, Chris. From nineteen sixty six
to eighty six, the Dolphins played their home games at
the world famous Miami Blank Bowl.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
Ax you ready, Rob? I thought Chris is going first.
Oh my, come on, here we go. It is Chris time.
Right here we go, apples terrible Fruits Bowl.

Speaker 8 (23:36):
That's incorrect, Rob Parker can't steal.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
Okay, what are you trying to say? See? Here we go,
Alex real simple? Okay, give me the hand movement? Is
that simple? Wait? A minute point. I'm trying to is
this a word? Rob?

Speaker 6 (23:54):
You?

Speaker 3 (23:54):
Rob? Can I say it in your ear? Okay? Real quick,
I'm asking Rob you, I really what are we doing here?
You're the commissioner, Rob?

Speaker 5 (24:03):
Okay, we go.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Alex.

Speaker 12 (24:04):
By the way, when he said it to me, Alice
could not hear at all.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
I have no idea what he said. Give me a
few plays. Ah, here we go, Here we go. Oh
j oh they did it? Oh j o j orange juice.

Speaker 8 (24:24):
Correct.

Speaker 6 (24:25):
Okay, that's all we needed with good apple, oh apples oranges?

Speaker 3 (24:31):
All right? Hey go number two? Back to Rob Parker.

Speaker 12 (24:34):
The current Dolphins team has a pair of receivers with
animal tie ins. Okay, Jalen Wattle does the penguin waddle celebration.
Nice Tyreek Hill's nickname is the Blank.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
Hey Rob you ready?

Speaker 9 (24:49):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (24:49):
Is it me? Sorry? That's okay. I just want to
make sure you're ready. Okay, here we go, like, thank you?
You ready? Thank you? Yes, I'm ready? Okay, could intro myself.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Don't look at him, close your eyes, sorry, Chris.

Speaker 3 (25:06):
Rob is a very strapping man. It's hard to look.
That's right.

Speaker 14 (25:08):
Exactly when I go to parties, you know, I'm six
for four. I got broad shoulders. That man has lost
a lot of weights. Right now, what a what a?
Oh wait a minute, Here we go, be quiet, Christy, here.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
We go, be quiet. Here we go. Puffs. I know
the clue, and I wouldn't.

Speaker 6 (25:34):
Get puffs like cheetos. So tiger, he said it right there. No,
it's not cheetos.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
He said it.

Speaker 14 (25:45):
They said it that that counts are not animals.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
Their chips.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
He was.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
He was saying that he didn't give his answers.

Speaker 12 (25:57):
Tigers, he said, he said so he guess twice and
he got neither of them.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
Right here we go, Alex Fastest. Yeah, boy, I thought
that was a clue.

Speaker 12 (26:14):
Level number three, puff chet is it Cheetos?

Speaker 3 (26:20):
Right? Cheetos? That's what you were going for, Rob, I
was trying to get. Was an animal he would take cheat.
I was gonna say, magic dragon.

Speaker 8 (26:31):
Puffed the magic dragon.

Speaker 3 (26:32):
You were assuming a lot of mental is so smart? Cheeto,
he's a thing, cheat, He's a genius, all right.

Speaker 12 (26:42):
Level three told Rob back to Chris, getting a little
bit tougher. Here, there's a statue outside of hard Rock
Stadium of the legendary Dolphins head coach Blank Shoola Here we.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
Go, Rob again, it's Chris turn.

Speaker 15 (26:56):
By the way, Rob, your piston stink total Trump Trump
c R U M P yeah read words you can
say that we're looking for.

Speaker 6 (27:11):
It was a blank shoola. Oh did I call him
John once? That is incorrect, John Trump. Yeah, that was
one of my favorite gume.

Speaker 3 (27:26):
I gotta be on Rob, Chris. You don't remember that one.

Speaker 12 (27:31):
Rob was heated in the hallways like who the heck
is John Trum?

Speaker 3 (27:35):
Exactly happened again? That was a throwback, Chris. All right,
here we go.

Speaker 14 (27:43):
Uh teflon tape is incorrect.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
Here we go, Here we go, Here we go, Here
we go. What were the other clues? Trump? And no,
do not do that. Here we do not do that.
I'm a stick for the has given you clue. Okay,
you're allowing this to happen. Here we go, giving you clue.
Here we go, Alex President.

Speaker 6 (28:14):
President Oh don Yeah?

Speaker 12 (28:21):
Okay, Rob, Chris speak for yourself. We got time for
one more Rob. If you get this, you win.

Speaker 8 (28:26):
If because we've went.

Speaker 12 (28:28):
With three, it's seventeen to nine, right, both of you
guys are having off nights tonight.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
There we go.

Speaker 12 (28:35):
You got some funny roby the Dolphins had two players
make the two thousands All Decade Team, Zach Thomas.

Speaker 8 (28:44):
Shout out to the Short Kings and Jason Blank.

Speaker 5 (28:49):
Okay, Alex, pay attention to Alex.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
You ready? Thank you? Rob? Yes, all right, Alex, here
we go. We're top down. All right, this is a
p this is a aim.

Speaker 8 (29:00):
We're looking for Jason Blank.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
Here we go.

Speaker 16 (29:04):
One word, Joy Taylor, that is correct. Marker for the wind.
Hold on, we got times? No, we got time first.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
We got time. We don't have time. You went first, Chris,
You went first. The cheating. Just accept How was the cheating?
The cheating because I know you to do it. The
big glass window. You're writing stuff on paper. I didn't write.
Nothing to do with charades. I love the Taylors. You're
texting him. You got pictures. Alex tried.

Speaker 4 (29:45):
Alex tried to get Joy Taylor to get a show
Afternoon Drive.

Speaker 3 (29:48):
I tried.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
More couple coming your way, Breeze.

Speaker 3 (29:58):
Shout out to John Trump.

(30:37):
Detroit Pistons a lot more than we should tonight for
them having how what is it that's an eighty two
game season. That's ridiculous. That's more than a quarter. That's
almost a third, almost a third of the season.

Speaker 4 (30:52):
Think about the eighty two games and they lost twenty
five in a row like that is ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (30:58):
It is, it is, It is unbelieve a team on
the other end, they got the longest winning streak in the.

Speaker 5 (31:05):
So, Chris, they were channing in Detroit. Sell the team,
Sell the teams.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
Yeah, the GM Troy Weaver, good guy. How's he not fired? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (31:19):
Somebody should be fired, like well, after tonight, after tonight, Chris,
you gotta give the fans some blood.

Speaker 5 (31:24):
I'm just you gotta give them something tonight for.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
Real, because because Utah was Utah was missing three of
that top four stores.

Speaker 3 (31:32):
Okay, and right, and then they ain't good with their players,
let alone without.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
Them, and for them to come in into Detroit and
win by double digits.

Speaker 5 (31:42):
Chris, Yeah, well.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
Rob, one thing this shows And I'm not even trying
to be funny because you used to see this with
the Clippers for.

Speaker 3 (31:49):
A long time. You saw with the Kings for a
long time. Tanking does not always work.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
In fact, it doesn't work unless you draft the right
players right and you're a well run organization.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
Rob. Remember the Clippers, it happened a long time with
them too.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
Remember, like you're getting lottery pick after lottery pick after
the lottery pick, but you don't get the right guys,
or you don't have the right.

Speaker 3 (32:15):
Culture or coach or whatever it may be.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
And this is just I mean, this is ridiculous. It's ridiculous.
But anyway, on to brighter things. The team with the
longest winning streak is the La Clippers, Rod, and they're
playing excellent basketball.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
They went nine in a row. And what the.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
Mavericks, the Pacers, the Knicks, the Warriors, the Kings, Blazers,
Jazz Nuggets.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
Most of these are good wins.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
The Warriors, the Nuggets, the Kings, the Knicks, the Pacers.

Speaker 4 (32:45):
Yeah, so what are your thoughts on them? I think
they're gonna be in the mix. I think they're only
gonna get better as time goes on. I mean, I'm
obviously they're gonna win every game, and they got a
nine game winning streak. They're gonna lose tonight. I was
hoping that they could stay close. Okay, she he's good, you.

Speaker 3 (33:01):
Know what I mean? And they don't have it. Okay,
he's legit, that's the question.

Speaker 5 (33:05):
They got a good team, and so I think they'll
be in the mix.

Speaker 4 (33:09):
I can see the Clippers being in the Western Conference
Finals against Denver.

Speaker 3 (33:15):
Well.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
Look, I think when you I think the big question
out West rob is are Minnesota and Oklahoma City for real?
Right because outside of them, we know what Denver is
and they're gonna be right there. Then the Clippers, the Kings,
and I know the Kings are young, but still we
kind of know what they are. The Clippers, the Kings,

(33:38):
the Mavericks, the Lakers. If the Suns get it together,
and I mean this is a big if.

Speaker 3 (33:46):
I don't even know if you put the Warriors in there,
but if.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
You throw them in there, that's kind of where we're
looking at in the West, Rob, and if you if
Minnesota and Okac are just too young, then I mean
outside to Denver, you don't put any of those teams
ahead of the Clippers. No, I mean it's a it's
a it's just a log jam. And the Clippers are

(34:08):
right there with everybody else below Denver with with you
know what I mean with.

Speaker 4 (34:13):
What we think and what they have too is you know,
three stars, Chris, like they really do, and if they're
healthy and the biggest question over the last three four
years anyway, it's just been about health for the most part,
that they never whole or never healthy. And if those
guys just somehow stay healthy, they have a chance to
at least go to the Western Conference finals and put

(34:36):
up a fight against Denver.

Speaker 3 (34:39):
I mean, you could do.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
If they get to the Western Conference finals, then I'm
giving them a shot, you know. I mean, we'll see
how things play out, but a right right, they would
have a shot. And I think Rob, and I'm gonna
say this and I've said it before, but I look,
the three stars are obviously Kawhi is playing phenomenally. Paul George,
we know he's great, and he he's you know, the

(35:00):
youngest of the group as far as the stars, and
James Harden is doing what you and I know he
can do, which is played great point guard. But I
gotta give Russell Westbrook incredible credit because Rob, if he
doesn't make that decision to go to the bench or
even I mean some people say, well, he just accepted it,

(35:21):
even that he.

Speaker 3 (35:22):
Hasn't had a bad attitude.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
He's only playing about eighteen nineteen minutes a night, you know,
since he's gone to the bench.

Speaker 3 (35:29):
Sometimes it's less.

Speaker 4 (35:30):
It's like eighteen minutes average during the winning nine game
winning show.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
Okay, so there you go. So his Rob, his decision.

Speaker 1 (35:37):
This is a top seventy five player, this is a
first ballot Hall of Famer, this is an icon.

Speaker 3 (35:42):
His decision to accept this, Rob, I think is huge.
I couldn't speak.

Speaker 1 (35:47):
I couldn't feel better about what he did from a
selflessness standpoint.

Speaker 3 (35:54):
Do you agree with that?

Speaker 4 (35:55):
Yeah, if it was, I mean, I know people paid
stuff a certain way, and I'm not trying to say
it didn't happen that way, but I'm not positive.

Speaker 3 (36:03):
But even if it didn't, he don't have to accept it.
You know what I'm saying. He could have a bad attitude,
he got bad body language. He's been great. That's my point,
all right, we out peace,
