Denver Nuggets edition. That should be fun.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
First. Yeah, uh, you ever been, no Rob, You've been
to Denver a million times?
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Yes, Denver. I'll tell you what they talk about. The
altitude up there have you ever played ball up there?
Speaker 4 (01:31):
Rob, No, like never was in like a writer's game
and die?
Speaker 3 (01:36):
Yeah, No, I played. I don't remember which All Star
game it was, whenever.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
It was there, and uh I did play, you know writers,
How was that? How we all got there? It's it's real.
It's definitely.
Speaker 4 (01:48):
Did you feel it right away or after you stopped?
You know what I mean? Did you feel lightheaded?
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Nah?
Speaker 3 (01:54):
I think you you if?
Speaker 1 (01:55):
I I mean it was years ago, but I definitely
remember feeling it. And what I remember is, you know,
a lot all the writers, we were all from out
of town, right, so we're playing and then we started
playing with some locals and by we were just they
were just they.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
Were used to it right right, they were just done.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
You know.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
I still can't believe, Chris, that you never played on
the roof of the Chicago Marriotte you know what? Like yeah,
mich Avenue, I played. Now that's when I was playing, Chris,
I played in those games. I can't believe they stopped.
You know, when you became a boy, when would you?
Speaker 1 (02:34):
But but when you played in them? Were those like
during the although the Bulls were pretty good, No, that
was doing the playoffs. No of all like, but see, yeah,
I was there early on in my you know, NBA career,
I was The Bulls were great.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
It was the you know, the last three p era.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
So I had the first and then Dereck Rose and
those guys were there, so they were good. But yeah,
we never nah. I mean I heard about those games,
but I never played up there.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
You know what outside outside it's on the roof. Wow, Chris,
And this is uh Rick Tellinger. You remember Rick Tellinger.
The column is from the Chicago sometimes he wrote up
I'll never forget it.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
It was during the.
Speaker 4 (03:17):
NBA playoffs with the Bulls or whatever, and his Sunday
column was about the game I remember well.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Then he wrote, he wrote, he wrote a talk about
different you. He wrote about the best writers who plays
was the one? No, no, no, he did. This was
the column.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
And I'm like, people in Chicago, you think they care
about the right like this was no.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
I was like, dude, was out of stuff to write about?
Speaker 6 (03:42):
What?
Speaker 7 (03:42):
Well?
Speaker 1 (03:42):
When I saw the one he did on the top
he did like the three all NBA writers teams, and
uh I did make it. I just got it missed. Yeah,
I was on the first team. I think Stephen A.
Was mad because I think.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
He was on second or third team or something like that.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
You know, Sean Powell, friend of the show, just did
one about a month or month ago.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
Did he all time?
Speaker 1 (04:06):
All the writers he's played with at least more than
once and again?
Speaker 8 (04:10):
You know team what justas Gary Howard made first team?
Speaker 1 (04:17):
You know Gary's from Wade Now Cray is nice. Gary
was really yeah, Gary baller. He played at Lehigh.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
He played he played for what you call Hill, the
coach of the Orlando Orlando Magic.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Brian Hill was his coach in college. Oh really Lehigh? Yeah?
Well Gary, who what I think? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Rock first African American sports arts editor of a major
daily daily, the Milwaukee But he grew up in the Bronks. Yeah,
with with Rod Strickland and Drederick Irving, who's Kyrie's dad
was a great player, and so you know that's who
we grew up with playing ball with.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
And he could ball and so but yeah, Gary and
me and Gary and that one last thing.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
We used to have the NABJ, the National Association of
Black Journalists. We used to have Chris, I don't know
if you remember this, when we used to have basketball
tournaments during the convention and I used to be on
the team. It used to I used to play with
Gary Howard and Steven A and I was like the fourth.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
Guy win it.
Speaker 4 (05:23):
Yeah, they used to what they wanted. I was a
fourth guy on a three on three. But those guys
could play. I played on a team with Gaalen Gordon
and Mark Spears.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
I never played with Galen. Yeah, I played with Spears.
Spears could played in college Division two.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
Yeah, okay, Spears used.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
To stack his team because I played in the tournament
once when it was in at Disney World, and I
had a squad and you know, we were all right,
but the Spears had like he was Division two in college,
and then he had a couple of Division one cats.
You know, it was like they beat us. I think
they probably won the tournament. But anyway, we're gonna stick
(06:01):
with basketball. Robbin Jeff Tigue God bless his heart. He
was on the podcast with Mike Miller and you Donnas Haslam,
former Miami Heat players, and they were talking about the
best duos in the league.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
Here here it is.
Speaker 9 (06:19):
Kyrie, Luca Lebron, Anthony Davis, Joker, Murray, Kevin Durant, d
buok Brown.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Okay, that was Mike Miller.
Speaker 9 (06:29):
Top five explained to me.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
Who you're taking out. That's the whole thing about this.
Speaker 6 (06:33):
I'm taking Murray and k Up the champs. I think
Jokic is fire. I think Murray is a great player, unbelievable,
But as a duo, I think this year my pastor
this year, I don't think he's top five in the duo.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
All right.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
I think I'm an given Jeff Tigue the benefit of
the doubt, Rob, I'm assuming he's saying, like, the two
greatest individual.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Players are so and so and so and so.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
And if you want to say, well, Jamal Murray's not
as good as Kyrie or Lamar, Jamal Murray's not as
good individually as Lebron And you got the Bron's teammate,
of course, a d I mean, or not quite as
good as Devin Booker. So now you got Kevin Durant
and Booker over here, like I guess you can.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
You can.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
That might make sense, But first of all, you can
argue Rob Murray's as good as any of those guys
at this point because in the playoffs, the dude that's fire,
but overall is a duo. Brown Denver's not a super team.
Aaron Gordon's good, KCP is good, Christian Brown is good. Yeah,
(07:56):
you have some good players, but they're not a super team.
So you gotta give Jamal Murray some credit as that
second guy.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
I agree, And so they come on, they have to
be on your right.
Speaker 4 (08:10):
I just think that's again this is where and I
don't know, Chris, where my issue again with sometimes players
who are Yeah, but they.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
All the time. I got I got issues.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
You know that, Chris, But you know this, and and
and I'm not an anti player guy.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
You know that.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
I mean, you work with I work with plenty of
guys exactly.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Come on, you you know I do? You know I do.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
But I think this is where sometimes it comes into
uh effect, and where they you know, overlook like certain
guys because they're friendlier with others or they know them better,
like like the Jokers.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
Just he's not in those circles, Chris, So it's easy
to dis I mean, he admitted the Jokers all that
by no.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
But but you see what I'm saying, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
But I just think it's easier to like, oh, well,
well he doesn't care where is he from you know
what I mean, like, like, but I can't disc my
boy or one of the guys who you're more friendly with.
That's what I mean by that. And so even though
you're giving them respect, you're not because he's so good.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
And Jamal Murray you just.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
Said it, dude, the stuff that he's done in the postseason,
that doesn't count. No, come on, Chris, No, that doesn't count.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
The dude is bad. In the post you just talked.
Speaker 4 (09:28):
About the Dallas Mavericks and and and they just look,
they've lost four in a row and they did make
the playoffs last year with those two guys together.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Really, Chris, really, that's why I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
You get where I'm saying at the beginning, when I
was like, Okay, I guess he's saying individually, these two
guys individually, each individual is better.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
Again, you can argue for Murray, but I'm just that's
the only justification for what he said, period.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
There is no other justification for that comment.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
Here's what I say about the ex players, Rob And
this is I think is where you and I I
agree with you when you say where's the pushbacks? That's
my biggest as like Mike Miller and I don't we
didn't continue.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
To play it right here, the whole thing, right, But
Mike should have been Hold up, dude, hold up right.
They just won the championship. Murray.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
I'm gonna look his numbers. His numbers in the finals
were terrific, Chris, let me give it to you here.
Let me give you some numbers. All right, here's a
throw out to twenty twenty three NBA playoffs.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
Murray averaged twenty six point one points, five point seven rebounds,
seven point one assists. Chris per game, the Joker dominated
thirty points, thirteen point five rebounds, nine and a half assists.
Their combined postseason careers, all right, and their postseason combined,
they're averaging fifty one point seven points. It's seventeen rebounds,
(11:01):
fourteen point two assists, fifty percent shooting from the field,
forty one four, three point eighty five point nine free throws,
and are plus two forty eight when they're out on
the floor.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
I mean, what numbers are better than that?
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Rob In the finals, Murray was twenty one points, ten
assists and six rebounds. Again, stop, come on, I mean,
but but the pushback You're right, you gotta challenge. That's
one thing you don't see as much. Sometimes you see it,
but as much from the players. Where you and I disagree,
I do think there's a value in what they do
(11:41):
in terms of them being in the media now and
their podcasts, because Rob, I will admit I the players
have a comfort with one another that for the most part,
not in every situation, but for the most part, they
don't have with media.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
I know that, but they like and you know, when
you and I went out.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
To write a story, particularly if it was a magazine
story like ESPN the magazine, I'm trying to get the
player in his natural voice, right, I'm trying to make
him as comfortable as he can't so he could just
be himself and then I can relay that to the reader.
Or if I was doing an interview on camera for
ESPN or something like that with a player, I wanted
(12:23):
them to just be themselves and you don't always get
that when you're media from a player. That's one thing
you do get when the players talk with each other. Now, again,
there should be the pushback when it's necessary, but that
is valuable so the fans can see the players being themselves.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
I get that part, I do, but I don't know
if they're always genuine and upfront, even with those guys,
Like there's a lot of inside jokes. I'll give you
the perfect example, Chris, and just tell me if I'm wrong.
You would think that the NBA TV had a thing
(13:01):
called players only remember it was like a group of
them in a room and it was.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
The open Court. Was it open court? Open court? All ten? Yeah,
it'd be about five of them that show.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
That show got canceled because there was like a lot
of inside jokes, not a lot like you had Charles
Barklay and there Reggie Miller, you.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
Know what I mean, Like Chris, that should have been
a I did.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
See some episodes that were good, but yeah they everyone wasn't.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
But that should have been a treasure troll? Were you kidding?
Speaker 4 (13:27):
Like, like players of that should have people should have
been flocking that show got canceled.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
But I also think Rob that that was that was
death obviously before the podcast era, and the players even
then sometimes weren't just being themselves.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
Sometimes they were. I did see some good ones. I'm
not saying they were all bad, don't get me.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
I'm just saying but that show, how do you cancel
that show with star power?
Speaker 10 (13:53):
Well?
Speaker 1 (13:53):
Yeah, that that Yeah, I thought that was good actually,
but yeah, it's interesting then. But Jeff Tea there, I mean,
come on, that's ridiculous. They're they're the defending champions. Off
those two guys back the numbers.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
All I'm gonna say is, uh, I would think I
would take Cheryl Tig's approach.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
At the best duels in the NBA over Jeff Tigs.
Speaker 10 (14:20):
That's all.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
He's gonna leave it at that. I'm not caring anything
about Cheryl te Cheryl t nobody knows you.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Cheryl Alex is Charlie's angel, noyl Tig.
Speaker 10 (14:36):
No, why is it funnier when Alex doesn't play a
laugh track?
Speaker 3 (14:41):
It is funny sotime because because of what I said,
it robs uh roast it's.
Speaker 10 (14:48):
So much funny.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Robs jokes are so unfunny, but he thinks.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
They're so funny that they actually become funny.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
And you know what, it's funny becau because I no lie.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
On social media, I see people go Alex nothing, Alex
like that, like they said to you, they go Alex
nothing like if I say something, I'm thinking I'm funny
to Alex Nothing.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
Okay, all right, this is the Oka.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
But A seven seven ninety nine on Fox just turned
away in is Jeff t lost his mind? Are Nicola
Jokic and Jamal Murray a top five NBA duo or not?
And you can comment on players in the media, player players,
podcasts and things like that if you want to A
seven seven ninety nine on Fox Twist and rob Okam.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
We start off the show, the.
Speaker 10 (17:00):
Show was over because of cheers off from.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
We start off saying this, uh Carl Anthony Town's injury
very unfortunate.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
Hopefully he's back soon.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
But it's an opportunity for Anthony Edwards to step up
and carry the team. And right now you got Timberwolves
one oh five pacers one.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
Oh four, kind of got a bron burner.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
And Anthony Edwards thirty six point wow, six boards fifteen
for thirty two shooting.
Speaker 4 (17:34):
That's a lot of shots and on a bad ankle
because you got the remember you had to ankled earlier
in the game.
Speaker 10 (17:39):
But he's all right, all.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
Right, Chris, we got people ready to jump in on this.
Let's let's kick it off with Dre Andre and Massachusetts.
You're on the odd couple of Fox Sports rading. I'll
be in Massachusetts Andre pretty soon. I'm speaking at Harvard
coming up on the nineteenth.
Speaker 12 (17:56):
That was good, Rob, Thanks for taking the call. You're
gonna stop by and talk to Crimson. Have a lot
of good things to say. Uh, just quickly, we're talking about,
you know, these duos and you know who's kind of
leading the league. I just uh the Sloan Analytics Conference.
Speaker 13 (18:10):
You're gonna be at Harvard.
Speaker 12 (18:11):
That was over at m I T Darryl Moury.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
Uh.
Speaker 12 (18:14):
I went to for a number of years, and that
kind of changed the perspective. I just go back. You
know a lot of people were out on analytics, you know,
and thought it was you know, it wasn't what needed
to be incorporated. And then now it becomes all the
all the rage across sports. You know, back to the
specific point we're talking about duos. You know, in the NBA,
and leading the charge.
Speaker 5 (18:35):
I don't have I don't know why Jamal Murray.
Speaker 12 (18:37):
And Nicola uh uh Nikola Jok in Denver aren't more
respected and feared, you.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
Know, ridiculous, ridiculous.
Speaker 12 (18:46):
Respected in fear there there there are a smaller market.
But I think what we're seeing now is we start
getting going towards the playoffs. The two duels, to me
and not the most fashionable Murray and Djoks in Denver,
and then maybe a little bit more so Tatum and
Brown in Boston in terms of their effectiveness and their reliability.
Now people are saying the point that made in the show,
(19:07):
Celtics haven't shown us what's gonna happen in June. They've
gotten right, there's the Dorset. Haven't got over to uh
jump the bar, so to speak. Our coaching staff in
Boston has been greatly improved, not just Sam to Sell,
Charles me coming over from Milwaukee, Emil Jefferson coming up
from Duke. Most importantly though for Boston, Stan van Gundy,
excuse me, Jeff van Gundy coming coming in as a
(19:29):
special assistant for Brad Stevens. So we're not going to
get out maneuver this year in the playoffs. I think
we're gonna actually, all right, all right, thank you.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
Andre way off topic, but that's all right. Yes, uh.
Speaker 4 (19:40):
Yeah, he got into a breakdown. I thought it was
a scout for the South Ride. All good. How about
Obi in Los Angeles? You're on the a couple of
Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 12 (19:50):
What up?
Speaker 3 (19:50):
Olby? You don't have to do it, gentlemen, How are
you guys doing great? How are you man?
Speaker 5 (19:55):
How are you doing great? Great? Thank you? By the way,
it was Cheryl Ladd. That's with the Charlie's Angels.
Speaker 3 (20:03):
Not Chris. Oh, you're right, that's right, that's right. But
you know who Cheryl, I mean Teague is right, of.
Speaker 5 (20:11):
Course, a great supermodel from back in the day.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
Speaker 13 (20:14):
Yeah, I'm sorry.
Speaker 5 (20:16):
Definitely Jamal Murray and the Joker at top five, it's
not top three in the league without a doubt. My
question to you is what would Giannis and Dane have
to do to get up in that top five? And
I listen to your call. Thanks again to take my call. Guys.
You guys are great. I'm sorry I missed you in
Vegas and I'm also sorry that I missed you in LA.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
You take care of guys, all right, appreciate the top five.
Speaker 13 (20:40):
Rob.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
I mean guys that are Jalen and and Tatum are
definitely in, but they need more time.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
Yo, Kitchen and.
Speaker 1 (20:48):
Murray are definitely in. Yeah, they need more time, but
I think they're in. I mean Giannis and Rob. When
those to play, they'd have the second best record in
the league when there was two play games. So I'm
(21:08):
saying they're already they have any Yeah, I think that,
but but I mean they're the third Jokoho.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
Won a championship. Not there, you know what I mean.
I mean they are there, That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
I mean Booker and and you know, uh Durant and.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
You know we're go ahead, Let's squeeze one more in
before Monty, Mike and Augusta.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
You're on the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Mike,
what's up?
Speaker 13 (21:38):
What's up? So I didn't get the whole concept of
the context of the conversation. If it's just too on two,
then Joker and Murray's not there. So I kind of
hold on, hold.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
On holds of what the game in. Explain yourself, why
why why? Why? What would be the h so you're
saying a game of two on two.
Speaker 5 (22:06):
In a game of two on two, I don't see.
Speaker 13 (22:08):
I don't see Joker being a good one on one player.
He is, I mean, all right.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
But here's the thing. They don't play two on right.
I get it, he's not fast. He's the best player
in the world.
Speaker 13 (22:22):
Would you, Yeah, I agree that. I didn't know that
the whole context of the conversation.
Speaker 10 (22:28):
Now.
Speaker 13 (22:28):
As a team yet, they are definitely a top duo,
but just regular two on two. I mean, you got
Booker and Durant, and you got a couple more that
that could.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
But Booker there. How they gonna stop Jokic? I mean,
if you're really talking about a game of two.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
On two, how gonna stop you? How they're gonna stop him?
From school? Not scoring every time on the block, is
going every time, and he can hit as them.
Speaker 13 (22:57):
Is he a great post player? Huh, He's pretty good.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
He's as good as we have in the league today. Yes,
I he really is.
Speaker 13 (23:09):
I think Duran can hold him down too. On two.
But as a as an offensive player on the team,

Did you hear about the Mike Tyson versus Jake Paul fight? Unbelievable?
Mike tight? Does he need money? What's going on here?
Does he need money? Rob? I don't know why, Mike.
This is terrible, Chris, seriously, and I'm gonna watch it.
Probably I'm not watching it, but I will watch it
with he. Tyson better not lose.
Speaker 4 (31:45):
I want Mike Tyson to get knocked out, really, yes,
I want I want him to get knocked out by
Why Why he shouldn't be in there.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
He shouldn't be fighting Chris. He shouldn't be He's retired
at his age.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
If he got knocked out, who knows what, guy, he's
fifty eight, you'll be.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
Here, should be resiling. That's my point. I don't want
to see an icon heavyweight champion.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
I don't care how it is getting knocked out by
a YouTuber.
Speaker 3 (32:13):
I want to see. I'm sorry, Mike, nothing for the culture.
Speaker 4 (32:18):
I want to see that that will be a hammer
blow to the culture.
Speaker 1 (32:25):
I don't That's why I agree he shouldn't do it.
He's got I guess he might need money of churs.
It's ridiculous. Is he better not lose now? I don't
know if they got a deal, because obviously there's gonna
be a huge money maker for both of them. So
I don't know if they have a deal where they're
gonna go out there and dance around and make it
look like they're fighting like Roy Jones and tight and
(32:47):
I not get anybody out and Tyson probably wins by
decision and did Jake Paul will get to you know,
have another big fight, make up millions with somebody.
Speaker 3 (32:57):
Maybe I don't want to see that.
Speaker 1 (32:59):
That's ridiculous. But if it's a real fight, Tyson better
than I lose.
Speaker 3 (33:04):
I get it. He's fifty eight. There's no shame in
a fifty eight year old losing to a twenty seven
year old. But you better not lose. It's not a
good look.
Speaker 4 (33:11):
I want him to get knocked out like Nate Robinson.
That's what I'm looking for. I want Mike Tyson to
be knocked out so he can't get a senior call
for m Jamesy.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
I'm that serious.
Speaker 4 (33:23):
You should be a shamed because he shouldn't be in
there at fifty eight years old.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
He shouldn't be there. Get out of there, old man,
Get out of the ring.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
Pull it for Jake Paul. I'm about Mike ty Yes,
that's what I want.
Speaker 8 (33:37):
You losing cards. You know why I want losing cards? No,
I'm not because I want you. That's ridiculous. Want people
to stop this. Stop, don't stop with the money. Don't
stop with the money. Grab have some dignity about yourself.
You're a senior citizen at fifty eight years old?
Speaker 1 (33:54):
Why stop man, Jake Paul? Yeah, in the world, what
twenty seven year old? What's the fifty eight year old?
Speaker 4 (34:01):
Easy?
Speaker 1 (34:01):
It's a money ground, Tyson, it's a money ground.
Speaker 3 (34:04):
It might be a money grind for Tyson.
Speaker 4 (34:07):
Mike Tysan should know better as a fifty eight year
old man and what he's accomplishing the ring to get
in there and give that kid money and pub that
he doesn't deserve. Mike Tysan should have better dignity, Chris.
He was a heavyweight to a champ to be able
to fight a kid, a YouTuber.
Speaker 3 (34:26):
It's beneath him. When is beneath him?
Speaker 1 (34:29):
I agree, But we just celebrated Braylen Edwards on this
very station for stopping a twenty five year old, right,
a eighty year old? So where why is Jake Paul?
You excuse him for being twenty.
Speaker 3 (34:48):
Seven years old fighting a fifty eight year old. Well,
they got gloves on. This is not the gym. Now,
you still can hurt somebody.
Speaker 8 (34:55):
Obviously, I agree, But Mike Tyson no good feel at
fifty eight getting knocked cold or needed to not cold.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
But he got knocked out by Victor Belfort, a former
MMA champion.
Speaker 3 (35:11):
Tyson or Tyson.
Speaker 1 (35:12):
Didn't knock out holy Field in two fights, so I'm
starting like rob I do not want to see Tyson
get knocked out by no freaking Jake Paul. I'm not
a giant shouldn't be in the ring, But you got
it backwards because they both wrong and the younger man
shouldn't be he fighting the dude. He gonna be theren
near sixty years old.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
Come on, it's ridiculous. I just don't man, I agree
with you on Tyson.
Speaker 1 (35:41):
Should nobody Tyson again, he must need money because that's
the only reason to He has nothing to gain from this.
Speaker 3 (35:52):
If he if.
Speaker 1 (35:53):
He doesn't win, if it's legit, If it's a legit
fight and he gets knocked out by free can Jake Paul?
Speaker 3 (36:02):
What separates him from Nate Robinson?
Speaker 4 (36:04):
As you said, nothing. Nate Robinson was bad for the culture.
This will be worse. But Chris, he can't get in there,
even though Alex said he watched him on YouTube and
he looks good, but that ain't in a fight.
Speaker 3 (36:16):
He's fifty eight years old.
Speaker 4 (36:18):
And here's the problem too, that Mike Tyson just should
know better. He's the older man. He's smart. He should
have people around him, Chris, who are gonna protect he
might reputation and protect who he is, like your family
and your friends. Come on, Chris, if you were to
do something crazy, you know what I would tell you, Chris,
don't do it.
Speaker 3 (36:38):
I would tell you, well, look, I would tell.
Speaker 1 (36:42):
Tyson's he's you know, he's from an unconventional you know,
upbringing and all that he might not have people. Unfortunately,
I agree with you because he's got nothing the game
except money, which I guess you know he's gonna make
a lot of money.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
Not.
Speaker 4 (37:00):
I just think it's just I just got the Mike
Tyson's pregame meal for the fight, uh, sodium free bacon,
decaf coffee, and a chest.
Speaker 3 (37:11):
That well, look, you know what, here's the other thing, Robin.
This is serious. This is not a sanctioned fight, of
course not. They would never section that mean that means
dudes could be using dudes like pds.
Speaker 1 (37:29):
Yeah, you think there's a good chance, Jake Paul and
I'm not accusing doing stuff.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
Yeah, but I'm just saying in Texas that you know what, Chris,
it would never be sanctioned because.
Speaker 3 (37:40):
They were never there, never would never allow it. Never.
I just come on, Tyson, better win you, better win Mike.
That's all I got to say. Man, come on, all right,
we out a couple peace,
