in Minnesota, but Denver leeds three to two. They were
down two and so quite a comeback by them to
win the next three games.

But jokis, Rob was just spectacular. There's no other way

Chris, Yes, sphectim in those spectacular incredible forty points, thirteen assists,

that that oh they neutralized him.

Like after those first two games, I got a sense
that people were ready to say, Okay, well he won
those three MVP but I really don't know. Because he
never beat a team old with more than fifty wins,
there were always something to hang over to.

No, I get it, never be the playoff team.

This will be the first fifty win or fifty plus
win playoff team, fifty or better win playoff team that
he beats him.

I just didn't sense a lot of like that people
were thinking he wasn't as good as we thought.

We had last year, Perkins saying that the only was

was winning MVPs because he was white and all kinds
of other stuff.

Okay, but it's a guy on the national platform. I'm
just talking about what he said. I mean, And my
issue was that this guy has put in a herculean
effort and if he does this, I said, I heard
Colin on our very radio network now talk about him
being in the top ten on his list.

Something I said before this all the playoffs started, I said,
if he wins it the third and MVP in four
years and they win another title, I'm gonna have him
in my top ten because that's the kind of resume
he's put together.

And now he's turned it up even.

A bigger degree because he was down two on the ropes,
losing two games at home, and everybody and he didn't
play that great. He played okay in one game and
not great the other. They got blown out, embarrassed in
game two at home. And for him to turn that around,
for them to be as dominant as they can, when

everybody thought that the Timberwolves had their number and they
had the formula to neutralize them and all this other stuff,
and for him to beat this dominant in the next
three games, I think they're gonna close it out and
Minnesota won't win another game. And if this propels them
to that back to back championship, which I think they're

going to get, I don't care who comes out of
the East. I believe this team is going to win
an ALE championship, and I just where they are and whatnot,
and I just and to me, it's hard.

I don't know what it'll take for people.

Even with Shack's comments that he didn't think he deserved it,
which is fine, I said, it's his opinion, that's fine.
I just think that there's people were waiting and hoping. Now,

behind two and everybody wrote them off, they wrote them

off out of disrespect to him, that he won going
to be able to turn it around. He wasn't going
to be able to regroup against that team. Chris, even
you said they look like a suburban team playing a team.

least six or seven, if not more, to be dominant.

from a year more than a year ago.

Kobe even when they were down in this series. Okay, everybody,

I'm trying to make the point that they didn't rule

Dallas was one of the most dangerous teams in the
Western Conference heading into the postseason because of those two guys,
because of Luca and because of Kyrie. And the thing
is right now, it's two to two and Luca and
Kyrie still have not played well yet. So if they
can find that that gear that both of those guys
had to in the regular season, that both of those

guys had in the first round series versus Clippers, then
they finished this in six.

What do you quickly before you go Kyrie? Because he's
had two nine point games in this series. His floor
game has been okay, but I don't think he's being

a really good defender. So they're throwing different looks at
Kyrie and obviously lou dort is going head to head
with Lucas. He has twenty one thousand and four games,

you know, So it's it's a lot. It's a lot
that's going on. It's a whole lot that's going on.
I don't I don't know about the aggressiveness because Kyrie
it seems like he allows the game to breathe in
the first half, and then what we've seen is the
second half is when he becomes ultra aggressive. It starts
to kick some things in gear. But he hasn't had

that same aggressive in the second half of a lot
of these games.

skill set that has that ability to see, not just see,

but you don't have the skill set to actually delivered
that past. So I don't know where he sits all
the time as far as top ten whatever it may be.
But I think he's definitely in that conversation, especially with

the accolades that you just named, Rob and the the
meter are still running. So it's not like he's at
the end of his career. It's not like he's his
career right, well, yeah, has a lot of work to do.

I think he could definitely become a top ten player
of all time. I wouldn't have him there yet after
just his second championship.

Like after those first two games, I got a sense
that people were ready to say, Okay, well he won
those three MVP but I really don't know. Because he
never beat a team old with more than fifty wins,
there were always something to hang over to.

This will be the first fifty win or fifty plus
win playoff team, fifty or better win playoff team that
he beats him.

I just didn't sense a lot of like that people
were thinking he wasn't as good as we thought.

We had last year, Perkins saying that the only was

was winning MVPs because he was white and all kinds
of other stuff.

Okay, but it's a guy on the national platform. I'm
just talking about what he said. I mean, And my
issue was that this guy has put in a herculean
effort and if he does this, I said, I heard
Colin on our very radio network now talk about him
being in the top ten on his list.

Something I said before this all the playoffs started, I said,
if he wins it the third and MVP in four
years and they win another title, I'm gonna have him
in my top ten because that's the kind of resume
he's put together.

A bigger degree because he was down two on the ropes,
losing two games at home, and everybody and he didn't
play that great. He played okay in one game and
not great the other. They got blown out, embarrassed in
game two at home. And for him to turn that around,
for them to be as dominant as they can, when

everybody thought that the Timberwolves had their number and they
had the formula to neutralize them and all this other stuff,
and for him to beat this dominant in the next
three games, I think they're gonna close it out and
Minnesota won't win another game. And if this propels them
to that back to back championship, which I think they're

going to get, I don't care who comes out of
the East. I believe this team is going to win
an ALE championship, and I just where they are and whatnot,
and I just and to me, it's hard.

Even with Shack's comments that he didn't think he deserved it,
which is fine, I said, it's his opinion, that's fine.
I just think that there's people were waiting and hoping. Now,

game has been okay, but I don't think he's being

to give credit to Okay, see, because they're putting lyft

lyft on him. Kason Wallace, to be at rookie, is
a really good defender. So they're throwing different looks at
Kyrie and obviously lou dort is going head to head
with Lucas. He has twenty one thousand and four games,

you know, So it's it's a lot. It's a lot
that's going on. It's a whole lot that's going on.
I don't I don't know about the aggressiveness because Kyrie
it seems like he allows the game to breathe in
the first half, and then what we've seen is the
second half is when he becomes ultra aggressive. It starts
to kick some things in gear. But he hasn't had

that same aggressive in the second half of a lot
of these games.

Would he be able to enter the top ten in
your estimation or not yet?

I mean, there are some things about Nikola Jokis I

Feel like he's the most skilled center ever.

I don't know where he's the first point center too, right.

You can't find a center that that size, with that
skill set that has that ability to see, not just see,
but also deliver because a lot of centers can see
it and a lot of point guards can see it,
but you don't have the skill set to actually delivered
that past. So I don't know where he sits all
the time as far as top ten whatever it may be.
But I think he's definitely in that conversation, especially with
(34:38):
the accolades that you just named, Rob and the the
meter are still running. So it's not like he's at
the end of his career. It's not like he's his
career right, well, yeah, has a lot of work to do.

I think he could definitely become a top ten player
of all time. I wouldn't have him there yet after
just his second championship.
Speaker 3 (35:00):
That's my view of it.
